Jenny, On the buy 2 get 3 free, is that for a total of 5? Would it be better to use the 1.50 off of 1 for two of them and then get 3 free and save the buy white get red free for another deal? Thanks for all you do!

      • http://www.southernsavers.com/ Jenny

If you have both the $1.50 off and the B1G1 your best bet is:

        Buy: (5) Sauces
        Use:
        (1) B1G1 coupon
        (1) $1.50 off coupon
Total Due: $1.29 or 25 cents each!

        • Marlene

i'd be wary, HT is very unlikely to accept both a B1G1 and $1.50/1 Q together (depends on your store) also they do not accept IP Qs for free products (my HT would not take the B1G1 free Tropicana Q)
Also with the B2G3 on the Hamburger Helper it's very likely they will not accept the $1/3 Q because the third one is “free”
In my experience they are just less coupon friendly than they used to be.

          • Angela

I went to my CS manager this morning and asked her if I could use my .75/3 on the 5 boxes of Hamburger Helper and she said yes!!

          • Sarah

They let me use the coupon on the hamburger helper today.

        • denise

HT won't accept internet coupons that are B1G1 free. it's on their coupon policy online and any store I've tried it at always says no.

        • Heather

My 1.50 Q says it is for the 44oz. Those aren't the ones on sale, so you can't use them anyway, right?

        • ash

what is the limit on this? 1? because i have 2 bogo q's … just wondering

      • megan10

My harris teeter does not let you use B1G1 coupons….but it may vary from store to store….i suggest checking with your store first before you try this.

        • rebecca_s

I have never had any problem using B1G1 coupons at HT.

          • megan10

it must be your store….my store wont allow it…have tried it several times….good luck.

        • Sarah

The HT is West Ashley would not let me use the B1G1. Just an FYI.

    • kim

need zip code for cheeze its

    • Angela

The coupon for the Kelloggs Fruit Snacks is not there

    • decorate

where do you get the b1g1 coupon?

      • bridget

HT does not accept buy 1 get 1 free coupons printed from internet, only those which are from the circulars – sorry!

        • Christen

as with any other chain, it really all depends on the store. My store took both of my BOGO tropicana coupons without a problem and even let me use the $1/1 coupons on the ones that I purchased. I think it may also depend on the cashier.

        • mackenziefoust

HT doesn't accept IPs for FREE items. They will accepts B1G1 free IPs.

    • Stace

I believe it was the 3/14SS in some areas that we received a “buy two classico sauces, save $1.50 on ground beef ” coupon. Works out well this week. Our store has become pretty strict about the amount of coupons used on b1g1, b2g3 deals so I am not sure how many they will allow on this deal.

      • bridget

The $1.50 is off the beef, though, so you should still be able to use 2 classico coupons for the 2 you are buying in the b2g3 deal. The beef coupon will definitely beep (poorly coded), but it is an appropriate usage of it.

        • gabrielmorris

The Classico sauce is also on sale at Bilo. I bought 4 (2 white and 2 red), used 2 BOGO and 2- 1.50 off of beef for 2 sauces. I only bought 1 back of beef (2 roasts) which were onsale for BOGO and got $3 off of it.

    • Stace

It also appears the b1g1 classico coupon is gone? Bummer.

Does the Smart Chicken coupon on coupons.com work for the MBA Smart 93% ground chicken?

      • Christen

I was wondering the same thing…I am thinking about adding it to my list and trying it out. I'll post the outcome :)

        • Christen

it does work just fine on the chicken that is on sale this week

    • Erica

Quilted Northern mail in rebate ended on the 18th of April

    • dyemiola

For the Kraft & Kashi Promotions, are the $ off instant or catalinas for the next order?

      • bridget

They come off at the end of your order. But, there is also a catalina starting Friday for the Nabisco 100 calorie packs, which will make the deal even better.

    • erin

thanks for posting this so early, jenny. i do my clipping before work and shop on the way home, so it's much appreciated!looking forward to the coupon workshop at our church in raleigh next month!

does the coupons.com coupon for smart chicken work for the MBA Smart Chicken?

    • kcreviews

Everyone remember that you cannot use B1G1 internet coupons at HT.

      • mackenziefoust

your manager is reading the policy incorrectly it states
        “Internet Coupons
We gladly accept internet manufacturer’s coupons for product; however no “free” product internet coupons are accepted.”
For example the Free Digiornio coupons that were out and the Free Nabisco Cookies printables would not be accepted but the Tropicana B1G1's would.

        • mackenziefoust

oh issues like this i always call corporate and have them reeducate my store. that way i don't get burned at the register.

          • kcreviews

My local HTs will NOT accept any internet B1G1 coupons. Period. I tried with the Sobe Lifewater last week and they would not do it. I don't want to make a scene and have them call corporate every time I go in there.

            • mackenziefoust

i just had corporate call them the one time and it did the trick. so sorry so many stores are misinterpreting the policy. that stinks!

            • Kim

My HT will accept B1G1 coupons on B1G1 sales IF I buy four items, because they told me that I'm getting the one item for free, so I have to “buy” two items to use the coupon.

            • Tracy

I left this comment in another HT post, but my Tropicana B1G1 and my Nabisco Free cookies with a purchase of cookies and milk were both rejected this week.

I called corporate and was told that the manager was correct and that HT does NOT accept B1G1 or the free cookies coupons.

Have you guys gotten a different answer from corporate?

            • mackenziefoust

Yes, I was told the opposite. That is weird. They need to get their act together!

      • http://margesweigart.wordpress.com/ Marge

My HT would not accept the Lays B1G1 coupon that I got from Facebook this morning. They said no internet coupons for anything “free”.

        • http://margesweigart.wordpress.com/ Marge

I emailed corporate and asked them to please clarify. If I get an answer back, I'll let you all know.

        • mackenziefoust

that stinks i talked to corporate about it once and they call my HTs for me.

        • AnnainNC

I used one last night at my HT in NC. They won't take any coupons for FREE items though.

    • TJ

My HT has a great unadvertised (though marked in store) cereal deal – buy ANY 4 “Big G” (general mills) cereals get $6 off. Basically $1.50 off each box. Pair that with many of the IPs for great prices. Kix = $0.09, Lucky Charms = $0.19.

$6 comes off at the end, limit one deal per transaction. I'm printing more IPs and heading back to self checkout to do multiple transactions!

      • Mandy

Thank you thank you thank you!! I have never come across a great price for cereal since we are SO picky!!! I was super excited about this!!

    • Brittney

My Ht will not take any internet coupons that say for any product for free.

    • jennifer

The Arnold bread Q (coupon) is listed as being from SS 3/28 but I can't find that one listed in the insert preview for 3/28, and it's not coming up as being a Q on the website where I buy them (Qs). Does the Q actually exist, and where might I find it? Thanks!

      • AnnainNC

This is what I found on CouponTom

JO Pref Card update Apr 30 Arnold soft 100% natural bread 1.00

I have no idea what this source is. Haven't checked my SS yet for it. HTH

    • denise

I heard that ht is having triples next week. has anyone else heard this?

      • Carrie_C

Lord help us if they are – I'm still recovering from the last one LOL!

      • Jennifer

I've heard the same thing. They are already posting lists on Hot Coupon World and A Full Cup… We'll see I guess.

      • Donna

Just spoke to my Husband, he works in corporate office and they are doing triples, limit 20 coupons per household per day.

    • Dawn

Just got 3 boxes of Kashi 7 Whole Grain cereal for FREE. They are on sale for $1.99 and they have $1.00 peelie coupons on each box. Then you receive $3.00 back instantly when you buy 3 Kashi products!
I also did a separate transaction for 3 more Kashi products: 2 frozen meals and a box of Heart to Heart cereal. I had a $1/2 coupon for the frozen meals and a $1.00 cereal coupon. The meals were marked down to $2.00 each with VIC card and the cereal was marked down to $2.00 also with VIC card. So I wound up paying $1.12 for this transaction…..Total OOP $1.12 for 6 Kashi products worth $20.96
**The $3.00 discount was not subtracted at the register so be aware of that and you might need to visit customer service but they were more than agreeable.**

    • gabrielmorris

I saw a coupon for the Fudge Oreos somewhere, but now I can't find it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? It would work with the Kraft promotion, maybe . . .

      • jflabeda

There is one ($1.00 off) in the May All You mag and it will work for Kraft promo.

        • gabrielmorris

That was it! Thanks so much!

    • gina

Anyone know the zip for the La Brea coupon?

I think the printed free coupons depends on who you get. i've only ever had one printed coupon rejected by the manager. Some of them do get picky on the number of coupons you can use with b2g3 items and even bogo items. i had an argument with a manager one time when they said i couldnt use 2 coupons on bogo items. she said you cant use a coup on a free item. i said its not free, its charged at half price. if i buy them seperately i could. she agreed with that but still wouldnt budge on it if i was buying them together lol.

last night i used a printed bogo coupon for velveta mac and cheese cups and a printed (from the company but looks like an internet coupon) for a free vitamin water with no problems at all.

Okay, friends, I emailed HT corporate and asked them to clarify the internet BOGO coupon policy. I received this in reply:

Thank you for your email. As of right now we do not accept any coupons on free items, including buy one get one frees. We are currently reviewing this policy but as of right now they are not accepted. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to serving your future shopping needs.

      Sincerely,

Today was my B-Day. And I had such a great time getting deals at HT because of EDay. For ex. I bought four organic salads because they was bogo and their was a Peely for 1off/2 if you buy the baby mix. So I got Two babymix and 2 Spinach salad that my dh likes.
also did good with the Kaski deal I had saved a Free voical point Q So I got two Boxes for free. I just had a good day on my bday. Next year i am taking off for all the freebies. I even got a free Caffee and Cheese Cake. Yum.

would the “buy 2 classico, get $1.50 off beef” work for top round roast of london broil? same animal as ground beef!

The coupon says off beef. I have used it for stew meat and a pot roast cut. No problem.

My Harris Teeter will not except the Lays coupon at all. They said that they DO NOT accept internet coupons for “free” items. Checked out their policy online and that is correct. Thought I would give you all a heads up to save frustration in the check out line!
