      Love super doubles :)

    • Snowtiger0987

When there is a limit like the 4 on cherrios can you use the same evic card for 2 transactions- For example I went though the line and cashed out and then my husband went though and did a seperate transaction?

      • Amierenee

I think it would not work because usually the limits are per card per day.. so unless your husband has a totally seperate evic account…

        • Guest

And the only way he has a separate account is if he lives in a different household….

      • Britta

In most cases when there is a limit on e-vic items you have to purchase the items all at once. It usually says so in fine print under each offer. For example, on Friday I received an e-mail offering $1 off certain Kelloggs cereal between the dates 9/7  to 9/11 limit of four. Underneath the offer states all four items must be purchased in one transaction.

      • Michelle

no it has to be the same transaction

My list is short this time, but that is a good thing. Both of my freezers, frige, and all the cupboards are almost full. All thanks to Jenny, Harris Teeter, and occasionally my brain. I am excited about the Pop-tarts though. That is 18 times I can sleep an extra 15 minutes!

Yes, it has to be in one transaction.

        • Mac594534

they will take more then 3 coupons, they just will not double more then 3

      • Angie

You can’t do this deal with 5 coupons bt you can buy 6 bags and use three coupons and pay only $1. The Catalina gives you $5 for 6 – 9 bags. So it would look like this:
        6 x 2 = $12 – 6(3 $1/2 coupons) = $6 – $5 catalina = $1 for six bags. Still a great deal.

    • mom23

Dr. Oetker Ristorante pizzas are listed at $4.00 but with not Q savings.  I got a Q for $1/1 in the 9/9 sunday paper making them $2.00.  I LOVE those pizzas and at $2.00 each I will load up. Looking to order extra Q’s now online.

      • Jamie_0188

I HAVE  2 COUPONS FOR THAT PIZZA IF U ARE INTERESTED IN TRADING EMAIL ME AT JAMIE_0188@YAHOO.COM

        • mom23

          Are your q’s 1/1 or 1/2?

      • Guest

I’m eating a spinach pizza right now and it’s the best frozen pizza I’ve ever had!!

    • Guest

Has anyone had a problem using two coupons when doing a B1G1 deal with a rain check?  Last Super Doubles my HT wouldn’t allow me to use two coupons.  They said I couldn’t use a Q on a free item.  Normally, they ring up half price so it is not an issue, but with a rain check they just take one off.  I know this was brought up in last week’s discussion, but I did not see anything about being allowed to use two Qs on a B1G1 deal in HT’s coupon policy.  Help!

      • Firedancer254

My store has never given me a problem. But if they do, just refer them to their own coupon policy which states that you can use a coupon on every item purchased!

      • Poormtnmom

I had the same problem.  With my raincheck, I was now purchasing one item and getting one item free, so since I wasn’t technically purchasing the second item, I couldn’t use but one coupon.

        • Guest

Those of you who aren’t able to use 2 coupons on a BOGO – google “Harris Teeter coupon policy” and then print it out and take it with you.
They changed it a while back, and now the policy says you can use 2 coupons on a BOGO.
There’s been plenty of time for the stores to learn their new policy – I’m sure it’s been at least a year.  So they have no excuse for pulling that “you’re only paying for one”  when they actually ring up 50% off.
Even though when you get a rc they actually do run one through for free, they shouldn’t penalize you for needing a rc.  It’s still within their policy – 2 coupons on a BOGO.
          HTH!

      • Promosandoffers

Actually my store won’t let us use 2 coupons on BOGOF items in the first place (despite two items being purchased, each ringing for half price).

    • Terri

Does anyone know of a zipcode where recyclebank has their $10 off $50 coupns?
      Thanks

      • Amyb

      • Candlequeen81

I always use a Charlotte, NC zip code because that’s where their headquarters is located.  Try 28212.  You will have to wait to receive it in the mail.

        • Amylamb1968

where do i go to get the coupon mailed to me?  Thanks

          • Amylamb1968

            got it

        • Amylamb1968

I found it at recyclebank but i dont have enough points…any suggestions.  thx

          • Guest

there are tons of points available right now.  Click on the “eco Academy” on the website, and you should be able to earn plenty for the HT discount.

      • Laura

Try Raleigh, NC or Charlotte, NC zip.  That is usually where I find mine.

      • sonia

I’m in Indian Trail, right outside of Charlotte, zip 28079 and have 3 being mailed to me.

    • Ambhall

Will harris teeter give you the negative overage from double coupons towards the rest of your purchase? Also, will they still double the coupons if the item turns out to be free? I only ask because normally my store won’t double my coupon if it is “more than the value of the product”. Thanks!

      • Shawn_L

no they will not i asked the same thing to a store manager and was informed they will not pay you to take the groceries home!

      • Britta

It will double up to amount that it is free. They do not give overages with the exception of zvr (e-vic coupons.) The zvr is subtracted regardless of what you paid for it. For example, this week I got 3 boxes of Apple Jacks. My weekly e-offer ($1/1 limit 4) combined with the bogo and 2($.50)q= $.17/3. There was a zvr for $1/3 boxes. I received an $.83 overage. I love when that happens! Hope I didn’t confuse you.

        • Britta

I forgot to say that they don’t give cash back for those overages. It is taken off your total order.

      • Bridgetmsw

they will only take off the amount of the item. if you have a $1.00 off and the item is 1.5 they will take off .5 for the double no overage for the rest of your groceries

      • Sam

If you have overage at the end of the transaction, consider purchasing a Harris Teeter gift card.

Say you have a $3 overage.  If you buy a $10 Harris Teeter gift card, you will only pay $7 for it.  It’s not ideal for many people on a tight budget, but you don’t end up loosing your overage that way.

      • Ambhall

Thank you all for your input… sometimes this stuff gets confusing :) Happy Couponing to everyone!

      • bugsbunny

HT does not give money back on overages. If you did get money back, congrats, but remember that cashier just lost her/his job!

    • Charlottebeckster

Am I understanding that in this Super Doubles, like the previous one, that a $2.00 coupon should (should :) double?

    • Guest

Not a good SD this time..

      • Jessica

Mine has been great! If my calcuations are correct by the wknd I will have $500 plus worth of groceries for under $40

    •  if you have a $1.00 off and the item is 1.5 they will take off .5 for the double no overage for the rest of your groceries...WinforGoDaddy.webs.com

      Will HT accept CVS ECB’s?

      • vmp

no… only take coupons from competitors like an amt off a certain amt….

        • CouponKing

There is a CVS in the same shopping center as my HT.

          • Guest

There’s a good chance, if you have a CVS within sight of the HT

          • Lily_dragon

Mine on hwy 55 and Davis Dr no longer take ecbs but boy I sure enjoyed it when they did.

      • vmp

no… only take coupons from competitors like an amt off a certain amt….

      • Amy

I think it depends on the store. Mine will take them because they consider CVS a competitor.

      • Carolinagirl

        Both HT’s by me do!

      • JustTheFlax

Depends on the store. Mine will not, but they will take RR from Wags.

    • Pam

Anyone else had any problem getting the Mueller’s pasta coupon? It says no prints available at this time.

Has anyone tried using the Neutrogena face product coupon on a bar of soap? I am wondering if it will work or will it beep.  Face product can be pretty loosely defined.

      • Amanda M.

I’ve used it at the Fayetteville, NC store without any problems

        • Mom2Max

           Thanks!

      Do catalina coupons double?

      • Guest

Normally, no. However, I have come across SOME from Food Lion that say DND, but they start with a 5 and have doubled at HT and Bi-Lo.

        • Guest

Not the ones from HT or LF.
Kroger and FL’s catalinas and WG catalina/RR’s do start with a 5 and will double.
          :)

          • Savinsam75

Can you use catalina coupons from one store at another?  I believe Harris Teeter has told me no before?

            • Jessica

If it says manufacturer anywhere on it than their coupon policy says they have to take it

    • skdt1

I am looking for Front Porch Ice Cream coupons.  They are in the RP issues of 7/22;8/19, and 8/12 inserts.  I would be willing to trade other coupons.

Does any one if HT will take manufacturer coupons for the commissary? I know they take other competitor coupons but wasn’t with these.

      • Carriearmywife

Yep, they will take tham but will not double them…

        • Carriearmywife

          *them rather!

          • Em

            thank you

    • Tricia

I know I’m missing something, but I can’t figure out how you get to the final price.  For example, the Cheerios/GM cereals.  Does the HT eCoupon double?

      • Guest

         $3.54/2 boxes
        -$1.00/2 doubled
        -$.50/1 zaver
        -$.50/1 SavingStar
        =$.54/2 boxes

I’m not sure how it’s counted as free either?  I do see that there is a $.50 Food Lion e-coupon in the list that shouldn’t be there.  Maybe she mistakenly counted that one too.

      • cheerios sale $1.77 I have coupon for 1.00 off 2=2.00 off 2….. $3.54 cost of 2 and 2.00 off=1.54 for 2 boxes= 77cent a box.

        • Twellwoman

Follow the link to the Pillsbury site – there is a $1.10/2 Cheerios coupon= $0.62/ box- 50 cents Savingstar- 50 cents Evic= moneymaker. Or the Total Raisin Bran coupon is $1/1= FREE.

    • Tricia

    • Ambhall

If Ken’s Dressing is BOGO plus my coupon of B2G1 – do I get a fourth for free as well? I know this may be confusing but I’ve racking my brain over this so the clarification is much appericated!

      • Jen

Seems to me you should get 3 free…one for each that you are purchasing and one for the coupon.  Buy 2 get 3 is what you would end up with.  I think:)

        • Guest

The BOGO items ring up 1/2 price, or $1.50 each.
          $4.50 (3)
          -$1.50 (B2G1F coupon)
          -$2.00 ($1/2 coupon – some areas got $1/1)
          =$1.00/3 dressings

      • Wellsmichelle89

B1G1 really just means each item rings up half price, but the B2G1 coupon is for the 9 oz dressings.  Not the 16 oz.  HTH!

Does anyone know if I can use my $10 off $50 Recyclebank coupon with the $10 off I got with the Kraft promotion? Thanks for the help.

      • Walkingonwebs

if kraft coupon is a manufacturers coupon and your total is 50.00 after kraft coupon then yes you can use both.

    • Ephie78

will HT accept a coupon from food lion for $5/$25 purchase??

      • Walkingonwebs

yes they should but same limits apply.not good for tobacco, alcohol, gift cards, etc.

      • Crystalgoodwin3

Where did you get a $5 off $25 Food Lion coupon?

        • Ldotjaye

yes! they do!  its in the e-mail that food lion sends out every week with their weekly ad!

          • Kim

It wasnt in mine! I just double checked – I had one for $2 off $10 in meat department and $1 off $5 in produce – if anyone has the link for the $5 off $25, I would appreciate it!

            • Guest

You could try going to FL and scanning your card at their coupon machine.  It seems like every time I do that I get a dollars off coupon which I usually take to Lowes or HT to use.

Yes they will take these. I believe Ephie 78 is referring to the home mailer, 4 in all that starts this week.

        • Actually, I saw someone got them at the cabarrus co fair in concord, however I havent been able to find them myself.  Wish I had!

IF there are some stores accepting them, then fine.  But the policy says differently:
        “Competitor’s Coupons
We gladly accept local competitors’ MANUFACTURER coupons. We also redeem CIRCULAR or DIRECT MAIL coupons for money off of
        the total order.
We DO NOT accept any INTERNET coupons from other retailers”I live in a very coupon friendly HT zone.  And none of my stores will take printable coupons from competitors.YMMV if at all.(I’m not yelling anything, there’s just no other way to highlight in this format…)

      • Mguto

I Hope so! I just printed mine and I do not see why they wouldn’t

        Is it an evic deal?

    • shalisa

I didn’t hear anyone mention the kraft promotion but it is still going on until 9/15, theres a velveeta manufacturer q on target.com and the 1/1 mio and 55/2 kraft shred works great for this promo

    • Savinsam

      Hi,

      Two questions

1 – The velveeta and shells link takes you to target link.  Can I use these coupons at Harris teeter?

2 – I have catalina coupons from Food Lion – for Gerber baby food.  They say “redeemable at Food Lion”  They also say “manufacturer cpn” on top.  Will Harris Teeter take these?

      Please help!  :)

      • Jessica

If they are manufacturer coupons you sure can use them….the bad thing about the Target site is that you dont know if it is a store or man coupon until you print it.  Harris will take ANYTHING that says manufacturer on it regardless of where it tells you to redeem it

        • sammiehokie

          Thanks!

One more question – Will they double the Catalina coupons?  I thought I read somewhere that they wouldn’t?

          • luv2sav

Catalina coupons don’t double they all start with a 9

            • Mommarn8

I have a Catalina from Walgreen’s for MetRx that starts with a 5, not a 9. It should double, right?

            • Guest

               Yes.

            • Guest

It depends.  Catalinas from HT and LF start with a 9 and will not double.  Catalinas from Kroger, Food Lion and Walgreens (RR) will double because they start with a 5, standard barcode.

          • couponingBML

Some catalina from other stores will double. I’ve had ones from LF double and my buddy used one today from FL that doubled. I plan on using $2 ER from walgreens too because they double too!

        • eb6

Actually there is a way to tell what type of coupon it will print on the target site and it is based off of how they describe the coupon. If the wording says “when you buy” then it will be a manufactures coupon. If the wording says “when you purchase” or just says the name of the item then it will be a target coupon. I read this somewhere once and it seems to be an accurate representation of the system target uses to describe the two different types of coupons.

          • Guest

That’s an awesome tip!  Thanks :)

          • Kswebb217

When you are on the Target coupon sites looking at the coupons you can also left click on the picture of the coupon then scroll down to properties and click on that and that will tell you weather it is a mq or a tq.

      • Aparrishrn

yes I used the target coup for shells and cheese with no problem

is anyone else having trouble finding the wholly salsa in stores in wilmington nc

      • Tricia

I’m in VA, but would think it would be in the same place.  In the produce section with the Wholly Guacamole and near the packages of lettuce.

      • Maui4gil

Yes, I’m having problems in Huntersville, NC also in finding the Wholly Salsa.

      • MelindaNC

Found the Wholly Salsa near the produce section where the fresh juices are like Bolthouse. This was at the Ogden store on 17. I got the last of one type of WS but there should be restocked before the weekend. I found that the store at Mayfaire and the one on College stock fairly well and less hardcore couponers visit these stores and empty the shelves. Good Luck

        • Wbeachgrl930

Like other’s said the wholly salsa and guac is in the produce section.. but I went right after work yesterday and they were sold out already. Seems to happen to just about everything I printed coupons for. That, or the sore just doesn’t even carry the item :(

    • sammiehokie

      Thanks for everyone’s help!

Does Harris Teeter accept $1 off $5 purchase in the produce department from Food Lion?   (I saw they accept $5 of 50… but didn’t know if it was specific to product if they would take?  – of course I would be buying produce)

      • Guest

HT does not take printable competitor coupons, and since those coupons you are talking about are emailed, they would not be able to accept them.
Also, they take $ off the whole order.  A coupon for $ off produce would be too specific.
        HTH!

        • Guest

My HT takes printables for dollars off.  Just last week I printed off from my computer a $4 off $20 from CVS and they took it no problem.  Just ask the manager when you are there, because some stores take different coupons.

      • Twellwoman

Yes, they absolutely do.  It has to be an amount off a total, and they will take it off your total at the end.  Same with the ones that are mailed to you or the ones that print out as Catalinas when you shop there.

    • MLS

I am BRAND new to couponing and my first adventure was at HT last night. Can someone help me understand when HT doubles coupons?  It said online it was every day but when I asked at the store the cashier said it was “only on certain days.”

      • Tricia

They double up to .99 everyday.  Their sales run Wed-Tues, and today they started Super Doubles where they double coupons up to $2.00–so a $2.00 Q becomes $4 off

    • Klbarnes28

I know they did it a couple of weeks ago with coke products.
        Please help.

        • KwazyQponr

In our area, Northern VA the Pepsi 12 packs are B3G2 so at $6.30 each, that’s almost $20.  Even with doubled $1 Qs, not a good deal.

          • Elphaba

May be a regional and Coke v Pepsi distribution thing.  (There was a great deal over Labor Day on DDrP at Target.)

None of my $.55 Mueller’s pasta coupons from the website doubled. Did not see ‘do not double’ on them. Did anyone else have problems?

      • Sfmayton

Mine did not double either.  The cashier had to have a manager come over to override and manually double it

I don’t have the coupon but wonder, did the bar code begin with a 9?  If so, that would explain it.

Thanks for the input. I try to read all the fine print on the coupons. Guess I missed this DND in the bottom printing. Thanks!

After taking a brief survey for International Delights Creamers, I was rewarded with printing off 2 $1.50/1 coupons! I’m looking to score both for free this week!

I got the same, it was awesome! 2 BIG creamers for free. My roommate, the coffee drinker at our house, was ecstatic.

Hi I’m new to couponing, and about to got HT today.  Just need some clarification though.  For the BOGOs for example, Post Honey Bunches of Oats, 14.5 oz, at $3.55 ($1.77).  Is that $1.77 for two boxes or one box?
      Thanks guys!

      • Heatherjw85

         1.77 per box.

will the Ocean spray sparkling blueberry juice coupon work on the cranberry juice? we are in sc. thanks!

At all times you have to go with the wording on the coupon. We have to do this whether or not “it’ll work”. As couponers we really have to do our bests to follow the rules and this includes buying only what the coupon allows, which in this case is the Blueberry flavor only. HTH!

We moved from Charlotte to Memphis last month, after I had been couponing for about 2 months. Loved it, and now I only have Kroger :,(. I’ve stopped couponing altogether because I essentially refuse to go to Kroger. BE HAPPY YOU HAVE HT! LOVE AND MISS YOU HT!
