Any whisperings of Triples next week?

    • MOONEYRN2000

I CANNOT PRINT THE BAILEYS COUPON.  HAS ANYONE SEEN IT ANYWHERE ELSE

      • Momof3

Been looking too! It’s been forever now since I’ve printed one:(

    • Goodkristen

has anyone had any luck getting the free bayer asprin, for the past two lists that has been on it and it is not on sale at my ht-raleigh nc

      • Cokarriker

I have gotten several of these.  My shelves were not marked but they rang up correctly for $1.99.  The $2 coupon beeped but they overrode it with no problem.

      • Vgreene

It was not marked at my HT in Monroe,NC but it rang up at 1.99

      • Lily_dragon

It was in clearance at north hills. I picked up four boxes last Wednesday :D. There were plenty at the time.

      • Rrumleyjr

it is a close out item.  I found it at 2 stores in Greensboro, but once it sold out they are not carrying it any longer.

      • Olisa56

I went to two stores and couldn’t find it and then the other day I found it on an end cap in the pharmacy section and it didn’t say it was on sale but if you print off the express lane sale and show it the manager they will likely honor the price for you.

    • Anonymous

anyone have any insight into when the next Super Double or Triples will be for HT?

      • Olisa56

I think we will be looking at January…..I don’t think they did any super or trip’s in December last year….but then again it would be like them to surprise us…they do keep us on our toes.

      • Codabella2

Morehead has super doubles RIGHTNOW!!! It was so awesome. Made the campbells soup deal great, DD coffee, AH Cat litter, Tide, lots of good things!!!

    • DianaY19

I live in Charlotte, NC and my HT Express Lane doesn’t list the nilla wafer or oreos on sale.

      • Ed In Ncarolina

I think we live too close to their headquarters. I will be suprised if we can get NY Strips for 2.99.

    • Lynn

can I use a 3/2 and a buy one get one free to get three items?

      • Katie

No to use both coupons you’d have to buy 4 items

    • racecitymom

The Campbell`s soup 40/2 Q says (excludes tomatoes & chicken noodle) DARN IT! :(

      • Kat_wood

I have one at the bottom of the same sheet of campbells coupons that says only chicken noodle & tomato SS 10/2 charlotte observer

    • Thank you ladies!!! I have been hunting the $10 off of $50 coupon since I have over 400 points on recyclebank!!! got it at 28134

    • kellync

Theres a printable 1.00q for kraft mayo. Its says 30oz but I know my HT will take it anyway. If you need it search “High Value Cooking with Kraft Coupons” up top and you should be able to pull it up. Jenny posted them about 2 weeks ago but I just printed more of them.

      • anon

According to Kraft these coupons are only supposed to be used at Publix- the Cooking with Kraft site itself is a Publix site. Just FYI

    • Bbouchard55

Hi I’m new to Southern Savers. Do the coupons double this week at Harris Teeter? Is that why the prices end up so cheap?

      • Guest

Coupons for 99 cents or less double every day at HT. :)

        • Bbouchard55

          At all HT??

          • Olisa56

Yes, at all HT that I know of….I am in the Charlotte Area and I have shopped at some SC locations and they all double upto .99 everyday.

      • Amber

Harris Teeter doubles coupons everyday up to $0.99 with a limit of 20! You can use more than 20 coupons of course but only the first 20 will double. Occasionally Harris Teeter will do special coupon weeks where they double up to $1.99 (Super Doubles) or they will do triple week where coupons up to $0.99 will be trippled! Also don’t foget to sign up for the evic emails so you can have access to evic coupons! They can be used in conjunction with manufacturer coupons! Hope this helps!

        • Bbouchard55

One more question…can you use coupons on the items that are going to be free. Like on the muellers pasta that is b2g3f??

          • Jennifer

Yes but only on the two you actually pay for.  I’m picking my up at lunch and getting the limit

          • Missriza

You can only use 2 coupons on the B2G3 because the three free items actually ring up for free.  This is not the case for B1G1, where you can use 2 coupons because both items ring up half off.

            • Twoawilkes

The HT in Fayetteville will take coupons on the free items as well (They took all 5 of my Diet Coke coupons) they didn’t double 3 of them though… they only took them at face value

          • Wigginsm24

on a b2g3 it depends on your coupon.  i asked the mgr at my store and it works just as it would for b1g1.  you could use 3 coupons if it states .55 off 1 or 2 coupons if $1 off 2.    the only catch is that ht will only take 3 identical coupons.
            ex:  pasta is 1.39
            Total for 2 = $2.78
            use (3) 0.55 coupons =  – 3.3
all 5 boxes of pasta are free.  you will not get overage.

    • guest

      There is a catalina deal running through12/7 for Campbell’s condensed soup, buy 5-6 get $1.50, 7-8 get $2.00, 9+ get $2.50

      • teadar

this is a great deal, my coupons were 40 cents off 4 cans, i bought 9 cans used 2 coupons got the catalina ,so it was 14.4cents per can.would have been free if i had the 40 cents off 2 cans

    • Guest

Jenny… You made a mistake on the EZ Peel Shrimp-buy 2, get 3 free. You noted that it is $13.99 for one 2-lb bag. I just came from HT in Raleigh and it is actuall  $27.98 for one 2-lb bag. So you may want to recheck where you got your info from.

      • LeAnna

I think that is what mine is too….maybe she meant per lb.  But 54.96 for 10 lbs of shrimp is a great deal still at 5.49 lb!  I plan to stock up.  Thanks Jenny for all you do!

    • Ed In Ncarolina

Quaker Oats 42 ounce are half this price at Walgreen’s this week.

    • Southside28704

How do you get the P&G Home mailer?

    • Zinniasgive

For the $10 off $50 recyclebank coupons mentioned earlier, where do you change the zip code?

      • Codabella2

i did it yesterday. change it in your own address…find the coupon, put it in your ‘cart’, then before you checkout, correct your zip code so it ships to you correctly.

      • Angie

I put the zip in the search box. I pressed enter. A second box appeared above the search box to search by zipcode. Put in the zip code. pressed enter. Then went to the grocery section and it was there. It let me order, no problem.

The mariani coupon says DND, but the barcode starts with a 5.  My store tends to be really picky about this.  Just for my own learning, I asked the manager to explain to me how they get reimbursed for doubling.  I don’t understand why some coupons say DND and some do not.  The manager said that sometimes the manufacturer reimburses them “a little extra” when they double coupons, but not always.  He said it was more like an extra store coupon.  I then said that if that was the case, I didn’t understand why it mattered if they doubled when the coupon said DND.  He said that they were required to abide by the manufacturers policy.  Now, I know the MFR knows that barcodes double if they start with a 5.  Does anyone know if the manager gave me correct info.  I know the rules are the rules and it doesn’t really matter, but I just like to understand the rules.
Also, I pre-ordered some mariani banana chips, even though the coupon will not double at my store (b/c they will stop it – the register does double it), they will only be .25 each and my husband loves these!  Do mariani coupns typically say DND?  Any help would be appreciated!  I really want to understand this!

      • Sarah

My understanding is that your manager was correct. At my HT store, it totally depends on the cashier- I have figured out mostly who doesn’t pay too close of attention and who is really a stickler.  Also in my experience the mariani coupons are DND, and it depends on the cashier and their level of attention to the detail- it’s pretty obvious on the Mariani ones though.  It’s usually a great deal with mariani is buy2g3- even w/o doubling.  Good luck!

      • Marlene

When a store doubles your coupon it is a store coupon they don’t get reimbursed for doubling the coupon, but if the manufacturer places restrictions on a coupon and the manufacturer believes the store did not honor those restrictions they may not reimburse the store for the value of the coupon.  So to keep a good relationship with the manufacturers and to ensure they do get reimbursed the face value some stores enforce that policy more strictly than others.

        • Marlene

sorry meant to say when a store doubles your coupon it is a store … discount … (not store coupon)
they get reimbursed the face value only

    • KP

the meullers pasta is b2g3 at my store. $1.75. also the stay free pads and care free pantiliners are b1g1 at 3.89 a piece. rings at half price, good deal on the pads if u have the $1 off coupons

    • Nursjen11

Huggies or pull ups are 5.99 limit 2 w evic

      • Mary C

There are also $1.50 zavers coupons for huggies and goodnites (which are also included in 5.99 sale).  Pairing the zavers with mq’s, I’m looking forward to getting some $0.16 goodnites and $0.09 huggies!

Where in sc is there a harris teeter?

      • Yourmom

You took the time to post this right? So take 2 more seconds and Google “Harris Tester stores in South Carolina.”

    • Poormtnmom

On the b2g3 with a limit of 10, is it a 10 limit per card for the week, or is it limit 10 per card per day, or just limit 10 per transaction?

      • guest

        It is 10 per transaction.

    • KP

B1G1 V8 Fusions and V8 smoothies at 3.89. or somewhere in that range. There is a $1 off 2 in the Evic for the smoothies, pair that with 2, $1 off coupons makes for 2 for under a buck! I believe the coupons expire 12/18. Unfortunately i saw the evic had been added AFTER I did this deal. But still got a good deal either way.

    • Pamgam1

Will HT be having triples next week?

    • Amy

I need help from my Recyclebank friends! I can’t find the HT $10 off $50. I’m wondering if it’s because it is December 1 and it has been taken down. I hope not! I’ve tried several zips, including 28134 and it isn’t there. Has anyone seen it? Thank you!!

      • claire

Yeah, it might be gone.  I got mine in November – sorry :(

        • claire

Oops, I take that back. Scroll ot the bottom of this comment thread – lots of diff zips are being suggested.

      • Dinker44

        TRY ZIP 28105

      • Renee

It’s back today. I just ordered mine for Dec and it doesn’t expire until 1/31/12. I’m zip 23322.

    • thewhalesaver

Driscoll’s are the strawberries and raspberries at HT. They don’t carry the Driscoll’s blackberries or blueberries. They are under a different brand name. Trust me, I work there.

      • Thefam2000

yes, I ran into this problem tonight
she did compromise and let me use one of the two coupons on the B1G1 berries
they were out of the HT tortillas — Westhaven
also they would not give cash back after 11pm   :7(

    • Andrea

Can someone tell me.  For the Evic member specials that say limit 2 or limit 3 per household.  Does that mean per day?  Or can I only get the limit one time during the sale?
      Thanks for the help

      • Monica Henderson

I’m pretty sure that’s per transaction.

      • Tj

Only once during the sale and if you want to buy the limit then you have to buy them all in the same transaction.

    • Monica Henderson

Ugh, I just got home and realized one of my e-vic coupons didn’t apply during checkout.  It was $3/2 Pantene.

I used a paper manufacturer coupon for the same product; could that be why?

      • Joel Tatarka

No, HT allows you to stack e-VIC and paper coupons so that’s not the reason. Check the coupon online for any exclusions and if it’s good you can try talking to a manager next time you go in — they might give you a refund or a gift card.

      • EB

My evic coupon said two shampoos – did you happen to buy one shampoo and one conditioner?

        • Monica Henderson

Blast!! I bet that’s why.  I got one of each.

I definitely should have waited to go shopping this week.  I was SO over-tired and exhausted, and I made very costly mistakes; I didn’t pay attention to the steaks I was picking up and got a ribeye and a NY strip.  One was BOGO and the other was $18.  :(  That, coupled with other mistakes, cost me about $30.

          Thanks for your input. :D

      • couponkid

That is exactly what happened to me. I reliazed it at the store but the lady didnt do anything?? And u can use them together that shouldnt be the reason.

    • Anonymous

Huggies Pull-Ups and diapers are an eVic special this week for $5.99.  Pair that with the eVic coupon for $1.50 off and a $2 off coupon from last week’s paper and you’ve got a jumbo pack of Pull-ups for $2.49!!!!!

    • Anonymous

For some reason I posted this two days ago and it just showed up so sorry for the repeat info!

    • Suenickb

Where is it showing for the huggies im only finding 2 for 19.99

      • J Yauniek

Im wondering where they are finding this as well. It wasnt advertised in my evic email. Im gonna be a new god-mommy soon and I want to get the lil one some diapers.

        • Sunshine4807

it was at the top of my email that had the weekly specials that jumbo huggies diapers and jumbo pull ups are $5.99 with a limit of 2. Hope this helps

          • J Yauniek

Nope this must not be available for me. All I see is the add for dial in the savings and brighten up your holiday savings. Darn I thought I was going to get some cheap diapers. Maybe next week ill get it.

      • tgirl

not the big, the jumbo packs are labelled 10.49, but evic price is 5.99. max is 2.

    • Bent

Does anyone know if u use 2- mullers coupons for .75 off which make 2 free do u still get 3 more free since they are buy 2 get 3 free or do u get just 2 free?

      • KP

they should all be free. the pasta was 1.75 at my store, but with 2 coupons, still made it 5 boxes for .50. cant beat that either. So yeah good luck!

        • Cheryl

i had one .75 coupon so I bought one… and it was .09 after coupon. so, yes, go twice and get two boxes for .09 each.

      • Cheryl

Just buy one and use one .75 coupons, makes it .09 .. then go again. you can buy 5 boxes if you have 5 coupons for a total of .49, .09 each!! :-)

      • Mac

If you have two .75 on the muellers, that should make them all free, depending on where you are. In Charlotte, that Muellers is $1.59 each… so if you have two .75 you can get 5 for .18 oop. that is free!!

      • Babycase914

If you use two .75 off coupons, they are applied to the 1.74 each price, but after the buy 2 get 3 free deal, you are essentially only paying a total of .48 cents, so about 9 cents each. You don’t have to make two trips, and if you don’t do the buy 2 get 3 free deal, you’re missing out

    • Kelly826826

Would anyone in Charleston, SC like to exchange coupons with me? I usually buy 4-5 papers on Sundays… so I have tons of coupons. Email me if so kelly826826@bellsouth.net

    • Mac

The HT store I went to hear in charlotte was out of the Cooked Perfect 14 oz meatballs, so they let me get the Armour 14 oz meatballs, AND they let me use my two $1 cooked perfect meatball coupons, so it was just $1.47 each! Harris Teeter is good about letting us switch on brands if they are out of the product advertised because they don’t want us to walk away “empty handed”!!! good for HT… gotta love that store!

    • Mac

Oh, another good deal… the Campbell’s chicken noodle and tomato soup is on sale for 5/$3. I had a $1 M wyb 5, that made it 5/$2, then I got back a $1.50 catalina, compliments of Campbells, good on my next Harris Teeter. That makes the soup .10 a can. What a deal!!

    • Anonymous

Not sure of the best place to post this, but if you buy your paper at Food Lion this morning there is a sticker on the front for $5 off of $25 purchase.  You can use this at Harris Teeter.  Good deal!

      • Lauramichelledriscoll

I actually bought my paper at Harris Teeter and the Food Lion coupon was on it!  I am hoping to use it at Harris Teeter, though.

I AM NEW TO THIS SITE…..I keep getting a yellow warning that has an exclamation point in it everytime I try to print my list

      • Schaubers

Check to see if you are out of ink. It shouldn’t be anything connected with the site you are on but a problem with your printer.

    • Lacey

LOVED my HT trip today!!  I am a new couponer with a big family and was out of EVERYTHING!!!  I had to do my regular grocery shopping and do my couponing and this may sound extreme but I spent $205.00 and saved $170.00….I have to say I am very proud of that.  Before couponing I would have bought it all and stressed later….now I still have grocery money left for the month and can start my stockpile!!!

    • Carriejoyner77

Has anyone heard if this week is going to be super triples?

      • Wheelin’nDealin’

I was wondering the same thing!

        • Mac

          no, it will not be.

    • Leenie

Do anyone know if they are having triples or super doubles any time soon????

      • Sierra_26

I was told no couponing events until January

    • ocean

We did not have a great coupon experience yesterday at Harris Teeter. We used the new Kikkoman $ 3.00 off coupon and the manager stated that the product was on sale for $2.15 and unable to grant the coupon. We told her that it was a vaild coupon. After a few minutes of discussion, she granted the coupon but only for the price of the product. Was that correct? The cashier and Manager treated us differently and crossed the line to being rude after we gave them coupons. It was like if we were the coupon vampires. We  had four coupons for the kikkoman but the manager stated that we were only allowed to use three coupons for the same item at check out. Also, she stated that on buy one get one free, we are only allowed to use one coupon. I reviewed the coupon policy and I was alittle confused with the wording but it stated we are allowed to use one coupon for item purchased. Is it true for bogo we only can use one coupon? -Stressful experience but still hooked on Coupons!!!

      • Kelli

Well the store gets the face value of the coupon back from the manufacturers. So the store will receive $3 for the coupon that they turn in…basically they just made money off of you…Harris Teeter can be difficult. I dont understand why they say they take competitor coupons but will only take my CVS coupons $5 off $25 purchase….

Had a similar experience during doubles week. they were out on some of the popular items and gave me a raincheck. i was told that i would not get the same double off on the items after doupbles was over. i was referred to the policy which is VERY VAGUE in areas. don’t know why the cashiers act as if this is their money. Teeter is not hurting for cash!

    • Kim

I’ll be glad to see the new ad.
