Could I use the Old Orchard B1G1 Free printable that was available a while back with the B2G3 deal? I have 2 of the B1G1 Q's.

      • Guest

HT won't take b1g1 IPs (their policy says they won't take 'free product' IP coupons but the stores generally interpret that to extend to b1g1 coupons as well. :( ).

        • Erbear1423

Where do I get Sweetbay maganize and Kroger HomeMailer?

      • Julie

Go to the HT corporate website and email them that question, and then let us know their response (which is usually really fast – within a day). That way you have the answer in writing that you can take to the store if they do let you, since that is a very good question.

    • Kidspastorcathy

Do you think Harris Teeter will be moving to the B2G1 as we

    • $avin'some$

I was shot down yesterday when trying to use a b1g1 printable. Anager said they dont take free printables amd that included b1g1. Anyome lnow for sure what corporate's interpretation of that is?

      • Amy

that is true….it is in their coupon policy.

      • Eblux84

They never take IP's for free items, and that includes B1G1, etc.

      • Julie

No, that is not their standard policy.  Printed BOGO coupons are fine.  I use BOGO coupons all the time at HT with no problem and they ring up with the register with no problem.  The resgiter will buzz, but that means they have to input the price of the free item.  What the HT policy is referring to that it doesn't allow is when you print off a coupon that says “Get a Can of X for Free” and you don't have to buy anything.  I would go to the HT website and email them your story.  They can clarify the policy for you in writing  (which you can then take to the store) and can contact the store to clarify the corporate policy with the employees.

    • Tracy

      what does “acorn” mean?

        Stock up price….Great Deal!! HTH

      • Guest

It means she thinks it's a good price at which to stock up.

      • Tfrost99

It's a great price (probably lowest you typically will see for that item) so if you want it you should stock up – like squirrels do with nuts!

      • Julie

It means that you should stock up on that item since it is an extra good deal (or squirrel it away – you will see the squirrel icon around the Southern Savers site).

    • Ctrinkle

I tried to use a CVS coupon at my HT that has a CVS across the street from it.  Had used one just the week before.  They said the new policy is that the competitor has to be in the exact same shopping center.  Seems silly to me.

      • Raynesmw

Weird! I would point out to them that CVS takes their coupons. Mine does, it is true. They will take Food Lion, Bi Lo and Harris Teeter coupons at my CVS.

      • Margoren

I was told their competitors are NOT pharmacies but only grocery stores and was told they just have to be nearby. That was before the policy changed.

    • Michelle B

can you explain how you are getting .19 per bottle of the old orchard juice? Won't they only take a total of 2 coupons since you are only buy 2 bottles and the other 3 are free?

      • thats what my harris teeter does. They will only take them for the 2 items in a buy 2 get 3 deal.

        • Michelle B

Thanks Chase, I am not sure how they figure the .19 then. I guess .80 a bottle isn't bad either, the way we go through juice in the house, but I'd of course prefer the .19. lol

          • Margoren

As Guest explained above, there is a new policy and the online policy is not as detailed as the copy of the policy stores have. I would recommend you stop by customer sevice before shopping and ask to see their coupon policy (may want to add “NEW” just to make sure) You will know you have this policy if it says the following:
“Effective immediately, we will accept 1 coupon for any item that the customer purchases with their order. For example, then if a customer purchases 3 of the same item because they have 3 coupons and that item is also currently under a “Buy 1, Get 2 Free” deal, we will honor the deal and the coupons. This is also true, then, for BOGO deals.”
Therefore with the juice, you should be allowed to use up to 3 coupons. I wouldn't try using 5 coupons as that's against their policy.
If you can't get a hold of the new policy I can email it to you, of course I am missing the the end of it where it clearly states you can now use 3 like IP. But that's the only part I am missing.
            Hope this helps!

            • Jessicacourtney1

you can use 3 of the 50cent off coupins they will double to a dollar and 2 of the dollar off and it will work out just fine ;) yay for super cheap juice!

            • Margoren

Are the $.50/1 for the healthy balance or just regular juice? I am thinking is just for the regular 100% juice but maybe I am wrong….

            • DianaY19

The coupon says “any old orchard juice product” which would include the healthy balance

            • Margoren

Thanks, I'll make sure to use those then.

            • Sberry_75

I am still confused about the juice…please forgive me but i am new to couponing and i thought you can only use 1 coupon per item. And from what everyone else is saying u can only use 3 ip coupons on a b2g3 promotion. So how can u use 5 coupons?

            • Margoren

I think you can use as many coupons as you want IP and paper but only 3 like coupons will double. I think you can use as many IP as you want that won't double, but I am not sure, I know my kroger will only take 2 like IP even if they don't double.
I only have 1 computer so I cannot do what other will do which is 3 $.50/1 and 1 $1/2

            • Jellibean939

I went today and got 5 bottles…. They ring up first 2 at full price, then other 3 ring up free. I was only allowed to use 2 coupons!! They would not take 5! Still they were only .80 cents a bottle… which i think is still a good price, but they wont take 5 coupons!

      • Guest

The math works out such that you would get 5 bottles which would cost $5.98, then use 5 coupons for $1 off each item and in the end pay $0.98 for 5 bottles. HT did just change their policy stating that you CAN use a coupon on the 'free' item in a b1g1 situation so logic dictates that the new rule should extend to b2g3 situations as well. THEN your only problem is that they usually will only take 3 IP coupons for identical product (that rule is new, too, it used to be limited to 2 IPs). Worst case scenario, you SHOULD be able to use 3 coupons and pay $2.98 for your 5 bottles w/o any drama.

        • Michelle B

thanks for breaking it down barney style :) And no i am not being sarcastic. I wasn't sure how they were figuring that out and I just looked at the coupon policy online and it says you can only use coupons on purchased items not free ones so I was confused. But thank you for explaining it. I will see what I can do tomorrow morning and hopefully I can get the .19 ea price! Thanks again!

        • Angelascoupons1

What if you only want two bottles?  Shouldn't they take that price and split it by five, then let you apply your two coupons?

          • Tk511408

On B2G3 deals, you have to get all 5 to get a discount.

            • Angelascoupons1

Are you sure? Since that is not the case on buy one get ones, why would you have to buy five?

            • Neharris38

That's just the way it is . . . they do not give a discount per item for the B2G3. You really do have to get all 5 . . . you're paying full price for the first two so even if you get 1 you will pay full price for that 1 item.

        • Unless your cashier just doesn't notice they will only take (2) coupons because their policy is that you must buy (2) to get the (3) free- and they are actually charged (according to HT) as “$0” so they will not take coupons on it.

      • Nmartin043

Equals out to about .19 cents a piece I think.

      • Arbed76

I'm thinking Jenni might be mistaken and doing the math from when it was double coupon because that is the price it was (you can use just 2 coupons)

      • Angelascoupons1

With the new policy that came about around the end of triples, I thought HT was going to take two coupons on a BOGO…so wouldn't they do the same on a B2G3?

        • Margoren

Yes, up to 3 like coupons.

      • Debrn1

Only buy 3 at a time…3 printables aloud but you do not have to really buy 2 to get 3 free…they are $1.19 each

      • Debrn1

Only buy 3 at a time…3 printables aloud but you do not have to really buy 2 to get 3 free…they are $1.19 each

        • Neharris38

This is not true . . . for all of their B2G3 free promotions, you do have to get all 5 in one transaction. They do not divvy up the price for each one. You buy two at full price and get the remaining 3 for free. Even if you only get 2, you will pay full price for those 2, not the price of 2 divided by 5. The only time they divvy up the price is their B1G1 and B1B2 promotions.

    • Penny G

how do I get the  Kroger home mailer

    • $avin'some$

I posted this same question a few hours ago, but want to post again juuuuuuuuuuust to make sure the responses I received were correct.

Anyway, I was shot down yesterday when trying to use a b1g1 printable. A manager
said they don't take “free” printables and that included b1g1.  Is that indeed what most of you know to be true?

*I'm only asking because there are links to printable B1G1s in Jenny's list for the Power Bars (which are the very ones I was trying to use yesterday.)  Thanks!

      • Sheila

This is the case per store policy they do not honor any “free” printables.

      • nancycrom

My HT takes ip bogo q's. It varies store to store.

      • Tk511408

They will not accept internet B1G1 coupons at HT.

      • mandm

I have been able to use a bogo manufacturer coupon,  if it is from an insert (not the internet).  Hope this helps.

      • mandm

…and I have been able to use a free coupon too (just not an internet coupon).

      • Cap

        My HT doesn't take internet B1G1 either…Chesapeake.

      • The Q-Girl

My HT does take B1G1 coupons, I think it depends on your store.

      • Furriefurther

I had a BOGO printed out coupon for the OFF bug 'machine' and my HT wouldn't accept it.

      • Jen

My Harris Teeter will not take internet printed “free coupons” just ones that are manufacturer from inserts or the mail.

    • Lisabluedevil

Will the free milke with the Dannon yogurt be inthe same transaction or a catalina?

      • it should be same transaction but you will be able to tell before you pay for your order if it came off or not

      • Kristina13

I did the Dannon yogurt/free HT milk deal today and the milk price came off at the register

    • DianaY19

Heads up on the Ball Park hotdogs.  On my local “express lane” only the 1/3 lower fat ones are on sale.  They are the 15oz.  The regular ones are 16oz.

    • Mmreep

      What are acorn deals?

      • Guest

        stock up deal price

      • Stn95

Acorn deals are are items that are at the very best price you will find so you'll want to stock up like squirrels/chipmunks stock pile acorns for the winter!  That's the way I understand it :)

    • neetneet

Seems like the same items keep being “on sale” week after week…or maybe all the stores are just running together. Personally, I'm not very impressed with this one. :( A bit disappointing as I love using my coupons!

    • Lindy

The Sunsweet prune coupons listed are ALL for the D'Noir and these are not on sale (according to EL) for $1.50.  Their price is $2.99.

      • Angelascoupons1

I used the coupon on the other Sunsweet prunes that are the same price.  My store didn't even have the D'Noir.  They took the coupons fine.

    • Mdlaubac

If there is a limit of 10, is that per visit or per VIC card?

      • They track it by VIC card.

      • Katie B.

In my experience, it is per visit.  I've gotten more than 10 per week with no problem, same VIC card.

        • Katie B.

Oh, evic deals ARE tracked on your VIC card, of course.  But as the juice deal isn't an evic, just a sale price, it works per transaction, not per week.

          • Heather

The Juice is a VIC Card Deal. It is Buy 2 Get 3 free with your VIC card Limit 10 .. So yes it is tracked on your card.

      • Yazpistachio

I beleive it is per VIC card.

    • Bowtifan

I just went to HT and tried using 5 coupons on the juice deal. The checker said I could not use coupons on the 3 free juices — until I told her to read the new policy… then I used 5 coupons and got the juice for 19 cents a bottle! Yippee!

      • They wouldnt let me use coupons on the 3 free ones. They said its because the 3 ring up as free and not as a price. :(

        • Mela1055

Chase- they just changed their policy…. that cashier was incorrect. You can now use coupons on the full and free items.

          • Save4them

Where in their coupon policy does it say you can use coupons on the free items? I just printed it and cannot find that part. I just want to be prepared in case they challenge me.

            • Heather

I don't see that it states any restrictions on their policy about B1G1 or B2G3. I do see that it states “We accept one coupon per item purchased.” So I have to assume that is the update. Unless someone else has a better answer

      • What new policy are you speaking of? I started shopping there with the last policy change in May. It clearly states under Internet Coupons: With the purchase of two like manufacturer’s products, we accept two internet coupons, per store, per day.

        See here: http://www.harristeeter.com/promotions/online_coupons/coupon_policy.aspx

      • Themommyliza

The policy still states that you are to only use two like internet coupons per day per person, so unless you had two internet and three non-internet coupons, I still don't see that you followed policy. I'm happy to see that they have removed the wording about not using coupons on free items! That never made any sense to me, especially since they always had them ring at half price for B1G1.

    • Gamecock9701

How does the Old orchard come out to 0.19?  I try to do the math and it doesn;t add up.  Thanks

      • Bowtifan

I think it's actually 14 cents a bottle after using the 5 coupons. I had 50 cents off coupons that doubled. Buy 2 juices for $5.70 and use 5 coupons to get $5 off = .70 for 5 bottles.

        • I think I understand what the other reader is talking about. HT has a very strict 3 coupons per like item policy. If they are printables such as these are, that goes down to 2 only allowed per like items.

So the total price would be $.79 each when you buy 2 and get 3 free using the $1/1 or $.50/1 coupons.

        • Themommyliza

My store does not allow more than 2 like printables. Besides, on a buy 2 get 3 free, you are not allowed to use any coupons on the free items. Maybe your cashier wasn't paying attention? Maybe your store has a different policy?

        • Themommyliza

Sorry. I should have read further. I didn't know there was a new coupon policy that hasn't even been posted online yet. :)

    • Nita

Went to HT early this morning before all the Raisin Bran, Apple juice & Oscar Mayer weenies disappeared. My store (in Lincolnton, NC) had the Digiorno pizza combos (Pizza & Wyngz, Breadsticks or cookies) on sale & they were disappearing quickly. I found a variety of the Margaret Holmes canned peas on closeout for $0.49 and used a $0.35 coupon (that didn't double) but it was still a great deal. I also found jars of Ortega guacomole on closeout for $1.77 ea. (1/2 the original price) and paired this with a $0.50/2 coupon on any Ortega products that doubled. Spent about $53 and saved $106+.

    • Michele

Do you know when we can expect another super doubles week at HT?

    • Sara

I signed up for the mullers pasta and it gave me a .55cent coupon not a dollar one

      • MomOf4

That's even better, it will double to $1.10!

        • NC Mommy

          it is a DND :-(

          • Emhcoupon

if the bar code starts with a 5 it will double

            • beingjennifer

It totally depends on your cashier!

            • Angelascoupons1

Yes but I mentioned to mine one time when he read aloud the words that it actually did double b/c it started with a 5.  He tried it and seemed convinced that it was ok to do.

      • Heather

I was able to print 2x .55 Muller coupons. I went to HT bought 2 boxes and it doubled a .55 to 1.10 and for the second I got .55 & .14 off so they were both free since It was B1G1 Free. :)

      • The 55 cent q is even better. It'll double to 1.10.

    • Rita Neill

My H.T will take Walgreen's RR. They can automatically.

Does HT double coupons less than 99 cents everyday?

      • Jellibean939

        yes

    • Poohbear3231

went to HT today and got 3 jars of ragu, 2 boxes Muellers spaghetti, 2 boxes of raisin brand crunch cereal and 1 dole fruit cup pack for $ 4.23 :)

    • TK

The Gorton's sale is not on the Tilapia or grileld  2-peice fish, but the Grilled shrimp is on B1G1 @ $7.99 ($3.99) so after $1/1 couon it's only $2.99.

    • Heather

Went to HT and got the Tropicana Trop50. It was on the shelf for 1.99 with .50 cent coupon it doubled to 1.00 So got it for .99 cents. So this is a dollar less then whats on the sheet :) Read your coupon the one I had was only good on the Lemonades not the OJ's

    • beingjennifer

Not sure if it's on a previous comment or not, but the 55c coupons in the Kraft Food booklet clearly state; Do Not Double. FYI.

      • Amelia

Many times the Do not double coupons will still double. I have never had one that hasn't doubled.

    • Angelascoupons1

Had a great day at HT…spent $32 for $114 in groceries!  Did not get the juice deal b/c my HT said you HAD to buy five and you could only use two coupons.  Plus the juice is not the all natural stuff – it has splenda, which I don't normally feed to my kids.  The best deal was pickles – there is a Vlassic for $.75 off that if you picked it up at a Food Lion blinkie, will double.  Got my pickles for pennies.

      • karen

        that is awesome!

      • Blondearies88

What I would recommend doing is going to the harris teeter website and actually pringting out the rules for the coupons. Once you show them the rules and they see that they are for the website there isn't anything that can be done about it.  (I worked retail for years)

    • Nancy_lail

I am a  coupon mom and I love it,But HT on 127 in Hickory is the most unfriendlyest place, there is a male sulervisor there that will tell you he hates coupons and anything to do with them .They need to have a coupon class  so all there employes know what the rules are and how they work, because they all tell something different when you check out,I hate to check out because its always a war to get the correct price.

      • Samantha

Yea I fully agree with ya. I love to score great deals but its like pulling teeth at that place! I hate it but love the price wish they were friendlier cause then I would prob do more shopping there.

      • Lauraleigh

Golly. I've had great experiences there. It's hit or miss with the cashiers as to who will let you slide with some, but they're really nice about it. One of the regular cashiers came up to me today and gave me a Pampers coupon that she was saving for someone she thought would use it. They can't be not be coupon friendly and choose to triple every week!

      • Erica

I never have any problems at the Hickory store & I think it's wonderful they triple coupons every week. I sure hope they don't stop anytime soon. I usually go in the afternoon's, maybe try switching the times and days you go and maybe you will get more friendly cashiers?

    • Alan

Got a question about using yogurt coupons. If it's .40 off of 6, can you buy 7 or more, and use another coupon?

      • Marysc1000

I'm a little confused by your question.  You can use one coupon if you buy 6 and 2 coupons if you buy 12. If you buy between 7 and 11 you can still use only one coupon.

      • ButterflyNC

If you have another .40 of 6 you can use another one or the .50 off 8 I combine them alot but I make sure I buy the correct amount.  HTH

        • Alan

Thanks, I just wanted to know if I could use two coupons

      • Guest

If you buy 7 yogurts and use a coupon for 0.40/6, the only way you can legitimately use another coupon is if you have one that's good for purchasing only 1 yogurt. When you use a coupon that's good on 'x amount' of something, consider those items as no longer eligible for any more coupons to be applied to them. Manufacturers coupons generally state 'one coupon per purchase' which is a fancy way of saying you can't apply 2 manufacturers coupons toward 1 item. Your 0.40/6 coupon applies to all 6 items, so you cannot attempt to apply another coupon toward those same items. Anyone who shops differently is committing fraud, whether they realize it or not.

    • karen

      thanks

    • Katiewyllie

Did anyone find the Oscar Meyer bacon on sale?  At my HT in Florence, SC it was the Gwaltney bacon on sale for $3.99…

      • Tam John81

At my HT is was only the Oscar Mayer thick bacon on sale.

    • The HT is Wilmington has coupons on the pickle  jars for 55 cents off and then they double it.  I got them for CHEAP!!! Also, anyone that wants to pick up on that great juice deal, I just wanted to let you know that my HT will only allow you to  use 2 coupons and you have to get five bottles. The juice is not all natural.

    • Cnchorne

Does anyone know the code for the Chef Boyardee?  I have seen it posted in the past, but not today.

    • ButterflyNC

Is the Purex crystals on sale?  I just on on HT website its the regular softner not the crystals.  Anyone bought any of this during this sale?  My coupon is only for Purex Crystals I dont want to try and use for the wrong item.
      Thank you!

    • Rachel

I'm new to couponing so I'm not sure of all the rules, but on HT's coupon policy it states “No competitor coupons will be doubled or tripled.”  So why does this site say the hummus will be free when the coupon is from Kroger?

      • Cheryl

It is from a Kroger booklet, not a Kroger coupon.

        • Rachelizabeth64

But it's still from kroger which makes it from another store?

          • Tam John81

It is still a manufacturer coupon not a store coupon eventhough it is from a Kroger booklet.  Any coupon that starts with a 9 or 5 is a manufacturer coupon.

            • Natalie

How do you get the Kroger booklet?  I miss out on so many deals.  I do not have a Kroger in my area, but LOVE their coupons!

    • Possible SUPER deal at HT if you combine the $1 off milk WYB nabisco cookies, teh FREE milk WYB (2) dannon multipacks! use the $1/2 coming in this sundays paper for the yogurt and $1 off milk and cookies on face book nabisco cookies to make it all $4.99 starting sunday!

    • Angieyoga

New to couponing, how do i get the ConAgra coupon for things like Chef boyardee, etc. I clicked to get coupon but sent me to type in code, couldn't do any other “sign up”

      • Shannonw1983

some coupons come in the all you magazine sometimes, you can get the magazine from walmart

    • Mcknights4pack

On EVIC there is a coupon for $1 off Diamond Sea Salt so if you load it to your card that should make one of them free!

    • CakeLadyT

I've noticed that Frank's Red Hot B1G1 deal on here for a few weeks now, but it hasn't been B1G1 since they did triples, right?

    • Mrs Lewis05

how do you get the sweetbay booklet?

    • mmann

OldOrchard Juice buy 2 get 3 free:  Please explain how they are .19 each.  I figure: buy 2 at $2.99 each totaling $6.  I have 2 coupons for $1ea for the 2 juices I am buying,  making the total $4…averaging .80 each.  What am I missing?
      Thanks for the help!

      • Rin

I was wondering the same thing.

      • Seysme

Because you can actually use 5 coupons on the instore special of buy 2 get 3 free…most stores instore specials of buy one get one ring up half price at the registers…

        • Rin

How do you get 5 coupons? Can't you only print one of the 50/1 Old Orchard juice, 64 oz coupons off the site? Or were the coupons in the newspaper?

          • SPA78

I dont know if this is a glitch, but when I went to print old orchid I was able to print 8 from the same computer….never happened to me before. One thing I noticed it printed differently when the screen popped up. Dont understand it, but happy.

        • mmann

Oh~ok.  But I thought the policy was that you could only use 3 like coupons per transaction
          .

          • Mrs Lewis05

This is only if its a doubling coupon. you can use more then 3 they just wont double after the third one.

        • Mrs Lewis05

my store wont let you use 5 coupons for a buy 2 get 3 free deals. They will take two qs for b1g1.

    • Mrsbrown121110

Question about the Colgate deal.  Would the 75 cent coupon not double and therefore make the colgate free?

    • Ann in VA

Is there a limit on how many times you can do the buy 2 yogurt get free milk deal?

      • css03

I have done it 2 different times so far.

    • Babythornton

How is the old orchard juice .19? Ht won't let you use 5 Internet printables from same manufacturer in one transaction.

      • Natalie

TOTALLY!  I am such a dummy.  I didn't do the math and just went and bought them!  It wasn't until I was at the register that I realized/remembered I could only use three coupons and just bought them anyways.

    • Corinnebodem

I'm new to couponing so can someone tell me if getting degree men'.s deodorant for a $1 is a good deal? It was 2 for $5 at HT and I had 2 .75 coupons that double for each deodoraant. Should istock up?

      • Mrs Lewis05

to me that is a great deal. anything for a $ or under

      • Amelia

Most of the time I get my deodorant for free (except the clinical strength kind). I would only buy a couple or use all of your coupons only if they expire soon. However, I would not buy 10 of them at that price if your coupons don't expire for several weeks. Same thing with toothpaste and toothbrushes. Unless you are buying the Sensodine toothpaste (like I have to use), all other toothpaste can be found for free. I never pay for Colgate toothpaste for my husband.

    • Guest

Colgate toothpaste and toothbrushes are on sale again this week, B1G1 – so $1.44 a piece. There are 0.75 cent off coupons in this Sundays SS, which will make them free!

    • Brette

Does anyone know if Harris Teeter (or any other grocery store for that matter) accepts Q's for Free Items – for example I received a coupon in the mail for (1)-Free Tub of Cottenelle Fresh Wipes.  But someone told me that they do NOT accept Q's for free items – please clarify if you know!

      • Mrs Lewis05

They dont take free item coupons if they are printed off the internet.

        • Brette

Ok thank you – but they will accept coupons for free items if they are NOT printed?  The coupons I have for free items, I received in the mail from the manufacturer when receiving samples.

          • Mrs Lewis05

They should with no issue then. its just the printed ones because so many people out there try and make fake ones.

      • Nicole Nickle7

I had the exact same q and used it no problem! :-)

    • Teresa

Does anybody in the Raleigh, NC area know if the HTs here carry the Athenos hummus and if so where to find it?  I looked by where the Sabra is stocked and didn't see any Athenos.

      • spa78

Yes, I think it is in the cream cheese fridge where the frozen pasta is….I think that is where I have seen it.

        • Teresa

Thanks so much spa78.  I will that are when I'm in there tonight.

    • Tagtenn

Can someone help me?  I'm new to coupon-ing and am looking at the Old Orchard deal.  Buy 2 get 3 free.  Do you have to use 5 .50 off coupons on 5 juices even though 3 are free?   I just read their coupon policy and it states they only accept 2 internet coupons per store per day.  Can someone help explain how it's .19?

    • LBagwell
