Jenny Can you please explain to us how to use the e-Vic?

      • Lisa

if you go on harris teeters website and create a login you can use the number on the back of the vic card to link it to e-vic…they then send you an email twice a week letting you know about special that are available only to you or your area…..there is a limit of 1 or 2 it will say in your email or if you dont remember what yours are if you take the vic card up front they will print out a copy for you other then that they are the same as reg. sale items

          Thank you!

Harris Teeter in Charleston (Savannah Hwy) also has Kraft dressings for $1.00, limit 1.

      • Jknight264

FYI not at the Harris Teeter on 17 in the new shopping center (where Wal-Mart is) I cannot remember the name of the shopping center. I did pretty good on the yogurt, but a lot of my “printable” coupons were “do not double or triple” so I was kinda out of luck there…. Unfortunately, in my hasty printing of coupons I did not notice it. The HT I was in was VERY expensive. Many of the items were priced higher than Wal-Mart. I would have actually gotten a better deal at WM. This was my first time with HT and I guess I am not as “savey” as some of the shoppers.

        • S_Carolina_Girl

The one of Hwy 17 does have the e-VIC special, an 8oz Kraft Dressing for $1.00. There is also a printable $0.55 that was out a while back for Kraft Dressing, making it free.

      Jenny,
While I don't notmally argue with coupon deals, you clearly state the size of 8oz and then state its free using a coupon that as you again state is for 14 or 16 oz size.

While I know this deal will work, It may have been best not to state size on the coupons and jsut let people know the $$ off amount.

      JMTC

      • sorry didn't even notice the size

        • Sue23

Thanks I know your only human but it makes the HT employees job really hard when people try to go through with coupons for wrong item even if the work it's just not right, Thanks Jenny:)

      • Sue23

It is coupon fraud to try to use this coupon on the 8 oz size. My HT would not let people use it which is the proper procedure. Please don't try to ruin it by trying to SNEAK through the wrong products, sizes etc..

      • AmyFMSC

I have a bunch of Activia $1 off coupons for the 4-count packs. I don't know what insert they came from because I clip all of mine, but some expire 6/30/10 and others expire 7/18/10. I just used it at HT for this deal to get them FREE. The cashier just reduced the coupon amount to 99 cents. I'm sure y'all have this coupon and there won't be any issues of “coupon fraud” and you can sleep comfortably at night.

    • AT

Are you kidding me? After all that Jenny does to help all of us save money. If you know the coupon will not work then just don't try to use it. We are all human and make simple mistakes. Jenny makes what maybe 2 mistakes a week and look at all the stores that she posts for us. For FREE I might add. Come on people!

I got different evics in my e-mail today then what you listed with no weight watchers cookies or bills eye BBQ but my store doesn't carry the BBQ sauce. I got arnold sandwich thins and something else. BTW, I am in the Northern VA area.

      • Laura

Yeah I didn't have the BBQ in mine either, but my store does carry the BBQ sauce. I had the Weight Watcher snack cakes (I guess that is different then the cookies), Kraft dressing, vidalia onions, Arnold sandwich thins, and the activia. It does say at the bottom that offer is targeted to select e-vic members, so maybe a few of the items are determined by past purchases? Onions are one of the few produce purchases I make at HT so that would make sense… Or it could just be a coincidence.

    • Tiffyre

if you have a coupon for $1/2 during super doubles, does that make it $2/2 then?

    • Sue

ok….this may be a crazy question..or maybe it's just late at night and I can't think straight, but, I just returned from a late night run to HT and to use 20 coupons, of course. There was a lot of confusion at the “serve yourself checkout” and the clerk scanning coupons. Anyway, when I got home and was checking my receipt, I noticed that written beside 10 coupons it said “scanned coupon” and under 10 others it says “multiplied coupon”. So, did the clerk actually scan 20 different….or did she scan 10 and those doubled? Hmmmmm?????????

      • Sheila

        sounds like 10 doubled

      • Sue

Just checked the register tape again this AM, and I discovered that the total cps. rendered was equal to 10 cpns. doubled + the 10 VIC sale items. Do the VIC discounted sale items actually count as coupons? I thought HT allowed 20 SCANNED coupons daily.
Still trying to figure this out (but $20 worth of missing coupons is a lot!)
        Thanks!!

      • Muddy

Were any do not delete 9's? Those are coupons that will not double or triple unless manually made to. You still should have seen the other 10 done at face value though. I'd take my receipt to the store and talk to a manager. You might have to fight them on it a bit since it was yesterday–but if you know what you had in coupons they should accommodate you. I have gotten into the habit of checking my receipt before I leave Harris Teeter-especially during a coupon event.

      • Sue

I LOVE HARRIS TEETER CUSTOMER SERVICE! Like I said earlier, I didn't get credit for 10 doubled coupons last night. I went today, took my receipt, and my most honest face, and the manager refunded me $20.00 for 10 $1 coupons! I still can't really believe it, since I realty could not “prove” that I had them! Now, THAT'S customer service! :-)

    • A.Sage

I also had a Kraft coupon from the paper for $1 which makes this dressing free!

    • Hubbardc

At our HT, express lane is only $1.95 all summer…

This was a good little trip to HARRIS TEETER (Hickory, NC) spent 11. 79 including tax, on the following items: 1gallon whole milk, 1/2 gallon Smart Balance, a small Hersey's chocolate milk, 2 kraft BBQ sauce, 1 16oz Kraft salad dressing, 1 Biltmore dressing, 1 Budweiser BBQ sauce, 1 Jack Daniels BBQ sauce, 1 bag of wacky mac pasta, 1 pkg oreos, 1 four pack of Activia, 1 loaf Natures own bread, 2 Yakisoba noodle bowls, 1 bag Chex mix, 1 pack of Dentyne ice gum, 1 jar of Marinara sauce and a candle from the mark down buggies!

      • motherof3nc

Forgot to mention the 1 package of Angus cube steak!

I was in HT last week for suer doubles, and the manager told me that they were no longer taking internet B1G1 coupons. Anyone else have any troubles? They did take the regular circular B1G1..but they will not take coupons from the internet.

      • Padonie

My HT in NC won't take an internet coupon with the word “free” on it. Otherwise, no problems.

    • Misty

I live in Chattanooga, TN and we don't have a Harris Teeter or any other grocery store that does double couponing other than the standard Bi-Lo and Publix doubling. So I was thrilled, (yes sad I know haha), when my husband had to go to Rock Hill, SC for a tournament. I worked on my 20 coupon list and I even took my 2 girls who make couponing very difficult sometimes. In half an hour I had $48 worth of grocerys that I paid $16 for!! Yes, I was thrilled! How do I get a Harris Teeter in Chattanooga?? :)
