Harris Teeter shoppers, make sure to check your email for a note from Harris Teeter on eCoupon changes they are making.  Thanks to Google shutting down their current Zavers platform Harris Teeter is switching providers.  This will mean some outages and changes for eCoupons as a whole there.

Here’s the timeline they emailed out:

  • Nov. 20, 2014: Last day customers can clip e-coupons, available until 11:59pm
  • Nov. 30, 2014: Last day customers can use saved e-coupons, available until 11:59pm
  • Dec. 1, 2014 – Jan. 13, 2015: e-coupons will be unavailable
  • Jan. 14, 2015: e-coupons re-launch

When the eCoupons relaunch in January there will be a new limit of 20 coupons that can be loaded at any one time.  They are saying that limit will last for all of 2015, though I would expect them to raise is faster than that (it’s always best to sound conservative on dates though).

I know for Harris Teeter shoppers that this is hard news.  Their eCoupon system has been great and is actually the only program that allowed you to use eCoupons with paper manufacturer coupons… I would expect that to change too (though they aren’t saying that yet).

If you aren’t currently using their eCoupons, you need to sign up for the eVic newsletter they send twice a week.  In your email it will have a link for your coupons.

I figured things would change when Kroger bought them out.

      • hbtoon

My Kroger won’t even let us use printable Q’s anymore. It’s not looking good for HT!

    • Tiffany

Didn’t bi-lo do the same thing with their ecoupon program?

      • Jeannine Quinones Llanos

They sure did! Several months ago they wouldn’t accept my paper coupon because now they’re not letting us stack e-coupons with paper coupons anymore! They said “you either pick the e-coupon or paper coupon”.

with all these changes…. I should start saying goodbye harris teeter because their too expensive otherwise!!!!! Most of the times even using coupons at harris teeter things are cheaper else where !!!!

    • Keisha

With these changes do you think that the super doubles program will go away? Have you heard when the next one would be?

      • Malachai

I heard that super doubles is coming on the 15th! My fingers are crossed!!!

    • FAYE74

Wow! I hate to say goodbye. It was fun while it lasted. Back to Walmart.

LOL! Find these comments all very interesting. First of all at my HT, I actually have seen the everyday lower price signs popping up everywhere. I have found these to be very competitive with the rest of the market. Though I would agree non-sale items tend to be higher than wal-mart, I am one to shop sales anyway so this doesn’t bother me because I have compared HT sale prices with wal-mart & almost every time my HT receipt has been less than what wal-mart would have been (yes I actually did the price compare, my budget is tight). The few times where my HT receipt was a few dollars more, I feel well worth it for the customer service HT has versus the customer service wal-mart does not. In closing, I love the super doubles, already have been shopping once, but every time they run it I am seeing more & more abuse of the polices which cause me to have to wait a long time. I actually watched a manager get cussed out because the customer had 3 cards & he told her she couldn’t split the orders. Glad I saw the manager doing it, probably why I actually got most of my coupon stuff yesterday, but hate it for the manager. I said it in post the last time they ran super doubles, the abusers are going to be why HT will do away with super doubles not those trying to play by the rules but I will continue to us super doubles the right way until they do. To those who abuse, thanks for taking them away from us…
