    • Where is the closest HT to Georgia? I want in on this event!

      • carlaZZzzz

go to their website and look it up :)  I would make sure that the store you are planning on visiting is participating AND if it was really worth the gas :)

      • Ashley

Go to the HT website and find one near you.

        • I can only put in a zip code and when I use mine and those in the metro Atlanta area, it says that there is no store.

      • There is only one store in GA it’s on St. Simons island. Probably the closest store to Atlanta would be Hendersonville NC which is around 3 hours away :(

    • Lola

I have been couponing for about 2 months and loving the savings. I live in Richmond, VA, where is the closest Harris Teeter to me? Has anyone done the triple couponing before? Is this running all week long or just on 9/14?

      • Lejane84

The special runs until next Tuesday. HT doubles coupons everyday up to .99

      • Michelle

There are two Harris Teeter stores in Charlottesville.  Not sure if that would be closer to you than Williamsburg, though.

      • Linda

I live in Williamsburg, VA and the closest Harris Teeter to you is probably the Williamsburg store.   There is a HT in Newport News (about 10 miles from the Williamsburg store).   Going north from Richmond, there is a store in Charlottesville and many in northern VA.    The one near Tyson Corner is great…new and big.   Staff don’t seem to know a lot about coupons.   I hope this is helpful.

      • Guest

There is a ‘store locator’ feature on HT’s site as on most retailer websites.

    • Anonymous

The Pop Secret popcorn deserves an acorn because there is a .50cent on 2 pop secret products in this past sundays paper making it .09 cent a box.

      • Kayla

Actually its B1G1 Pop Secret Popcorn, at $3.19 ($1.59) so with the .50 off 2 it would take 1.50 off of 3.19 making each box .85….still a good deal though

    • Lola

was also wondering about if there are issues with keeping things stocked, I would have a 45 minute drive and don’t want to go if everything is all out. What’s everyone’s experiences been like? Thanks for feedback.

      • mmann0806

remember its just 20 coupons per day, so be sure your drive is worth it..surely it is!  If they are out of stock be sure to get a RAIN CHECK at the customer service desk..that way you can go back whenever the sale is over (and they are restocked) and get everything they were out of (but only up to 20 rainchecks/coupons at a time per day)

        • Anonymous

But remember triples may be over by the time they restock.

          • Earthymamablogger

yes but there will be another triples/SD event… and perhaps new coupons as well. Sales and coupons are cyclical.

I commented earlier that I got rainchecks on the $5.99/pack Huggies deal last year and finally it worked out to a SD event and a $1.50/1 Huggies at the same time. I used my raincheck about a year later, but got them for $2.99/pack. :)

        • Angelascoupons1

Rain checks are GREAT but since they don’t honor the triples after that week is over, they are not as valuable as on other weeks.  I still get them…it just stinks that they can’t honor the super doubles or triples part.

          • Jjfrugalfriends

Don’t forget rainchecks never expire. I know what you mean though. If you kept the raincheck long enough maybe triples would come back around  lol

            • Flippinfrogs

              Why to get rainchecks!
Example: I had a rain check for 6 cinnamon toast crunch – the 17oz box at 2/$5 This week they are not on sale but if you buy 4 you get $6 off (lmt 1per transaction)
              I did two transactions back to back: 4 CNC at my rain check price, ($1q off 3) and 2 tetley teas BOGO (2 -.50/1 q’s) = $10.00+2.39-$6 off -$3 in q’s) = $3.39 + tax!

              The second transaction I got the other 2 CTC  left on my raincheck (i didn’t want to waste it!) + 2 trix (2-.50/1q)= $5 + 6.60 – $6 – $2q = $3.60 + tax

NOTE : I bought 8 boxes of cereal and got home and had mo milk!

      • Cherish

Items usually go fast. Maybe you should call ahead and find out when they stock. I have been to the harris teeter in hendersonville, nc and they are usually out of half the items i plan to buy. If you go plan to have 40 coupons to tripple in case they are out of some items. There is a limit of 20 coupons per day trippled per card.

      • Jtdjagos

go early the first morning or they will be out of a lot of stuff. I live 1 1/2 hours from HT and unless there are things I really want and are dirt cheap, I skip triples. If they are out and give you a rain check, it does you no good because when you buy it the next week, the coupon won’t triple.

        • I love when they are out of something cause I’ll get the rain check (They never expire) and use it the next triples.  Coupons repeat themselves and when the next triple or super double comes I have all of that product to myself  if I have a coupon that goes with it.

      • Shannonw1983

Even if I go at 6 in the am they are already out f everything, so i usually try to wait until I know when the truck is coming and hope they have what i want

        • Mommy2cooper

I have never really been on a triple or super doubles week so i’m wondering if i should expect it all to be gone.

          • Savn2gether

Some items run out fast, and others seem to never get in stock that week. For example, lance cracker creations ran out in a sale the week before, and they stayed out of stock every time I went during super doubles. It’s best if you can go first thing Wed. morning, at 7 am. Then, you can get what you really want. If it’s a really good week, I try to go back another morning right after they’ve restocked. Also, when I go shopping, I try to have a backup list with coupons in case the items I really want are already out of stock.

      • Earthymamablogger

stock at our HT stores is awful. The stores here are very heavily couponed. I too drive 45 minutes. Whenever I go to HT for a coupon event, I plan to take my grandmother and her vic card, so we can each shop and get 40 deals total… and I go first thing on Wednesday. Otherwise, I get lots of rainchecks.

    • Mommy2cooper

if you go on harris teeter’s website it gives you all of the locations near you.

    • Missy

There is a Campbells soup coupon in this paper, it is  .40/4, can’t we use that on the .60 campbells soup?

      • Lydia

Yes you can use it.  But, you will have to buy 4.  So, you would pay .30 each

        • Missy

I will buy 4, thats awesome!!! I have 5 kids and the all love chicken noodle soup!! THANKS!!

          • Jjfrugalfriends

There is also an e-vic coupon that will work with the other coupon, so don’t forget to load it to your card.

            • Missy

Ok, thanks, I have never done that before but I will have to try it!!

            • ashley willis

              for the campbells soup?

      • Christen

the coupon excludes tomato and chicken noodle

        • Missy

my coupon say  “on any campbell’s chicken noodle and tomato soup”

    • Angelascoupons1

I wish this list had looked better!  The first one was pretty good…maybe the unadvertised specials will be better.  I don’t mean to complain, but I was honestly hoping for super doubles, due to the many $1 coupons I have.  I will make the best of it, though!

      • Lisakathleen

I agree with you. I was planning on going at 6 with one of my friends that also coupons but with this list I will just go at my normal time which is right after Farm Fresh because FF double $1 on Wednesday’s!!!

        • Mine says that it starts at 7

          • Guest

It doesn’t start ’til seven on the registers, but you can start shopping earlier to be ready to check out. It takes me at least an hour to shop.

    • do you have to have a card to shop there? i saw that mentioned in the post above. i would have to drive a good trip to get anything from them and want to take advantage but don’t know anything about the store. help please!

      • Jjfrugalfriends

Yes you do need a Harris Teeter card to get the sale prices and for your coupons to triple. You can get one the same day at the service desk.

      • swirlypop

Yes, you will need to have a card.  You can sign up at the store and get a card on the spot.

      • guest

yes, its called a VIC card

      • Savn2gether

Once you get your card, you can sign up at customer service for e-vic membership, and you’ll get special savings prices and a weekly email for HT. It can take several weeks for the e-vic to get processed, but you can use your card right away. If you are planning to shop at HT for the big sale weeks, it’s probably worth it to become an e-vic member as well!

      • Guest

You need a VIC card, which you can sign up for at the store. They will give it to you the day you sign up. Be sure to have your driver’s license with you, as they use that number. I suppose to keep people from signing up for numerous cards per household. You are able to double up to 20 coupons a day on your VIC card.

      • James

I think it’s called a VIC card.  You should be able to sign up in the store.  E-VIC coupons may take a while to activate but you can use your card immediately.

    • Jjfrugalfriends

So as long as you don’t use more than 2 identical printable coupons in one order there isn’t a limit on how many internet coupons can be used in 1 transaction?

      • Missy

I read on their website, you can only use 2 printable coupons total. Nit sure though.

        • Flippinfrogs

“With the purchase of two like manufacturer’s products, we accept two internet coupons, per store, per day.”  You may only use two internet coupons FOR THE SAME PRODUCT in a given transaction. HT does consider flavor variations to be the same product.

      • Savn2gether

I’ve used both online and regular coupons. The limit is 20 that will double for the day per card. It doesn’t matter if they are printed or regular coupons. However, you can use 3 regular coupons per like item and only 2 online coupons per like item. But, the total number that will double is 20. You can even use more than 20 coupons if you have some that don’t have to double (for example, a $1 off coupon for an item or a .75/1 coupon for an item that costs 50 cents). Just make sure the cashier knows it doesn’t have to double, so she can scan those last.

        • But since HT corporate coupon policy says “Harris Teeter reserves the right to limit quantities in coupon usage, as well as products and to amend our policies as we deem appropriate”  then my local HT only allows 2 like coupons even if they aren’t internet printables.

      • Jessica

My Harris teeter lets you use 3 like coupons either from the paper or internet!  Im in North Carolina.

      • Earthymamablogger

        Official HT coupon policy is

        20 q’s per day/card.
Limit 2 Like internet printables per person
Limit 3 like non-internet coupons per person (inserts, tearpads, etc)

How each individual store chooses to interpret or enforce this is up to them apparently, but that’s the official policy.

    • Missy

If I have a $1 COUPON, will it triple up to .99 or not? Does it actually have to be coupons less then $1?

      • Mommy2cooper

yes basically my focus will be on .50 and .75 coupons.

      • Savn2gether

It has to be less than $1, so $1 coupons will not triple. You can still use the $1 off coupon, but it wouldn’t count as 1 of the 20 coupons that could triple. .75/1 and .50/1 coupons are the best ones I’ve found to use during triples. Hope that helps!

        • Missy

          That does help….THANKS!!!

        • SG

How many can you purchase of the same item per transaction?Or per day?

    • Kim

Not the great sale I was hoping for :(

    • Remember that even though they are out of something you can get a raincheck.  Yes I know “but then triples will be over before I can use it” remember the rainchecks never expire at Harris Teeter.  So all you need to do is wait until the next triple or super double event and if at that time a new coupon is available (coupons repeat themselves) then you’ll have a good deal that no one else will have.

      • Jessica

I DIDNT KNOW that the Harris teeter Rain Checks never expire!!  Thats awesome because they finally refilled the gain dish soap today thats on sale for 99cents so I used my coupons and got them for free, I also have a raincheck for them, so I can save it for later!!  Thanks for the Info :)

        • I know right!  I love it later in the week during super doubles and triples and even if the sale is good during regular weeks I pray they run out and I grab my rain check and just wait until a later time when the deal works out perfect.  I plan on getting a few for the Bob Evans breakfast sausage…My family loves my Sunday Breakfast and 25 cents for sausage makes it taste that much better!!!!

        • I always wondered why people dont just get rainchecks for every good price of something and then just keep them for double/triple sales..but I guess that would be cheating unless theyre truly out of the product.

      • Earthymamablogger

My best deal ever was with Huggies rainchecks- they were on sale for $5.99/pack ages ago. Of course they were out all week. Had rainchecks. Used them during SD with $1.50/1 and got diapers $2.99 a pack. :) not bad.

    • Anonymous

This would have been an awesome ad for Super Doubles…I’m just not seeing the awesome triples deals. I can’t wait to see the unadvertised deals list – that’s where you find us so many hidden goodies. Thanks Jenny!

    • Lowes91

On the sales that was posted on Friday are they in on the sales that was posted today..not clear on the “3” list thingy..does that mean that everything that is listed on all 3 lists are good for the triple sale?

      • Anonymous

Jenny always makes 3 lists to help people prepare for a HT event:
(note: when I say “express lane” on here it means HT’s online shopping option on its website and not the self check out in the store. The express lane lets you search for an item online and see its price without having to actually make an online order. It shows the regular price and then this week’s sale price in red if it is on sale).

         – List #1:  She does matchups using the express lane mid-week of the week prior to the event. This will tell you good deals based on items regular price and also includes things on sale last week that may or may not continue into the new sales week (thus the “if sale continues” notice). She usually does not go back and correct the list later so you might want to double check these items on the express lane yourself once the new sales week starts. Items on this list are not guaranteed to be a great deal for the event, but might be and you can get prepared ahead of time if you want.

        – List 2 (this one) is solely matchups on what is in this weeks ad.

        – List 3 (that comes out after the new sale week gets posted to the express lane online) she makes by using the express lane and looking at what is on sale during the actual event week but was not in specifically advertised in the newspaper ad.

As you can see, the 3 lists are generated differently, so they will include different items and you should use all 3 as a reference.

      • Guest

Beware of list #1 – double check those prices yourself b/c sometimes they are based off of sales that have already ended by the time the coupon event starts.

    • Singlewoman26

Well I am very excited about triples! If anyone needs any extra coupons I have some on Ebay! My user name is singlewoman26 (top rated seller). Thanks Jenny for the list and all that you do!

    • Anonymous

On the Degree, using a .75/1 will make it .75.

    • karen

      Thanks

    • This is probably a silly question, but one I’ve been trying to figure out and thought I would just ask all my fellow couponers. For the unadvertised deals, I know they are not in the ad but I don’t see the sale prices in the stores either, should I or are they just as noted, unadvertised? I don’t want to go to the register and pay full price for something I think I’m getting a deal on. Please advise.

      • I’ve noticed that at times the unadvertised sales are in effect but they didn’t put the sticker up or I’ve also noticed that they take it off on purpose (I actually saw a manager do this.  My thought is that perhaps they are trying stop people by making them question whether it really is on sale.  I always grab it and then ask them to check the price when I get to the register…if it is not really on sale then I just put it back but 9 out of 10 times it is and they just didn’t have the sticker out.

        • Thanks Brian.I’ve been that person that puts it back thinking it’s not on sale.  I’ll put in a different pile in my cart to help me remember to check the price.

      • Anonymous

Sometimes the sale is regional and not at every store. If you want to double check a price, you can go to the harristeeter website and look at the express lane shopping service for your store (or one closeby). You can search the item name and it will tell you the price at your store (but wait until the sale starts to see this weeks prices). This is also good if you are in search of something particular and several local stores have the express lane option. I have discovered that there are certain items that my closest store does not carry, but are stocked at a store about 10 minutes away.

      • Yazpistachio

It has been my experience that if the item is on sale (advertised or not), it will be marked as such in the store. The one exception seems to be the special evic prices you see in your weekly email– the one that comes out Thurs. or Fri. after the saleweek begins. I have to write those prices down because there is nothing noted in the store.

        • Krnsbnhsn

that’s true but you don’t have to write ’em down… you can ask a cashier for a printout of your evic specials. Just hand them your card. :)

      • Jenjcakes

I shop at 2 different HTs, they are about 3 miles away, and they both have the regular sales, but each of them have different items on clearance, for example: unadvertised sale weeks ago for coffemate at $1.19, I was dissapointed that couldn’t find it at “X” store, the next day I went to “Y” store and they had it!!! but they didn’t had some other stuff the “X” store had on clearance ( i’m not refering at the clearance shopping carts full of goddies!)

    • Anonymous

Harris Teeter is getting less and less exciting for me as they seem to REALLY be inflating their prices to offset us couponers.  Some of these items you can get cheaper at another store without using a coupon at all!  But regardless of their games, this website is invaluable and we apprecitate it and all of your work J- you rock mama.

    • Anonymous

wahoo  ,I just got a $829.99 iPad2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HDTV for only $251.92, they are both coming with USPS tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prices at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HDTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for. I use BidsBug.com

    • Shannon

      Dumb question:
I plan on getting 4 of the Campbell’s Chunky soups, there is an e-Vic Q for .50 wyb 3…this would take of an additional .50 correct? I guess I’m asking if an e-Vic Q and a paper Q can be combined on 1 item.

      • Clemonsclan05

Yes, they can be combined.  :)

        • Shannon

Thanks for answering my dumb question :)

          • Krnsbnhsn

Well I don’t think it is dumb cause I didn’t know either! Thanks for asking the question!!! :)

      • Moecoupons7

They can be combined but only the paper coupon will be doubled or tripled…but every little bit helps!!

    • Kim

For those that haven’t use their .75 printable Welch’s coupon this week, can use it during triples then pay just .75!  That’s what I’m planning to do.  Who doesn’t love 100% juice for only .75?!

      • I just went and printed it. :)  Look for the coupon post from Jenny on the 9th she mentioned it then ;)

      • Staceyhamrick2000

i got really lucky at bilo and they had the welchs chillers on close out for 1.19, they took the coupons which made it .44, i’ve found that couponing is alot easier when i’ll wait in line for the same cashier every time i go, but make sure you are always friendly it has came to the point that she will even reopen her register to see how much i can save

    • Tdallen0113

Just a reminder ~ Anyone who had to get rainchecks on the $7.77 Tide deal the other week ~ there was a $.50 coupon in the P&G insert so you can get 100 oz. Tide for $6.27!  Sometimes it pays for something to be out of stock! :)

      • Anonymous

totally forgot about my rainchecks. I had one for the Rhodes dinner rolls from last double coupons. So mine will be .14 plus profit. Thanks for reminding me

    • Anonymous

Yeah, this list is not thrilling me–and I usually adore triples.

    • Danielle

wow..never have I ever been so UNDERwhelmed by a sale…LOL

      • Ladykattt

        i agree…this is not a good sale especially for a triples week…

      • Allison

So glad to hear someone else say this!

      • Ivey Godfrey

The advertised deals aren’t crazy, but the sneak peak are crazy good sales. look at the list before this.

    • astoyan_NC

Does triples run for a week?  I know it starts on Wed but when does it end?  Thanks!

      • Shannonw1983

it runs like normal sales, wed to tues

        • astoyan_NC

          Oh perfect – thanks!

    • Jenjcakes

hoping for good unadvertised deals… been waitinf for triples for months…

    • Earthymamablogger

I only wish these coupons didn’t say ONE PER PERSON, PER VISIT on them. :(

      • TheChapLeigh

I used both of mine last week, & they did not beep to try to be stopped at the register. HTH ;)

    • Joanna Holloman

Will HT accept evic coupons and other manufacturer coupons together for one item?  Or is it up to the specific store?

      • Dpbarney

Yes they accept a manufacturer’s coupon and an eVic coupon for the same item.

      • Jessie

HT will accept a manufatuer coupon as well as an evic coupon for the same item. The evic coupon will not double.

    • CouponFairy

Does anyone know if the Chex Mix on sale includes the Muddy Buddy Mix?

      • Guest

According to ExpressLane, no it is not included.  The sale prices that start tomorrow are already loaded on ExpressLane, I just checked the Muddy Buddy chex mix and it shows $3.99 not on sale whatsoever.

        • Guest

P.S.  You can check prices at your individual store if it offers ExpressLane services – go to HT’s website and click on ‘shopping’ and then ‘expresslane’ – from there you can choose your individual store and enter the expresslane site for your store which allows you to check prices or even order your groceries online.

          • Susan

            THANK YOU!

      • Moecoupons7

I have used coupons on items that are not the specific items listed on the coupons as long as the first few numbers on the coupon match up to the first few numbers on the product bar code, I have that coupon too and it worked with the regular chex mix, so sometimes you aren’t limited to the specifics

        • Dquin

You aren’t supposed to use coupons on different items than what the coupon states.

      • Guest

It was regular price on the shelf this morning. I do not believe it is included.

    • JAS

I have a really confusing question and hope one of you smart seasoned couponers can help me.  I know Harris Teeter doesn’t do overage but can the leftover money from a product go over to the same product? Here’s an example of what I would like to know:
I have a coupon for .75/2 for Juice (2.25 tripled)
      Juice costs 1.00 each (2.00) =
      2.25-2.00= -.25
Can I buy 3 juices and will the extra .25 come off of the third juice? I hope that makes sense and someone can help me. Thank you in advance

      • Dpbarney

No, the coupon will only multiply (in this case, triple) up to the price of the specified item(s).  So in your scenario, instead of tripling to a value of 2.25, it will only triple to a value of $2.00.

      • Lovecouponing

when the kozy shak was on B1G1 the overage went over to the same product…and instead of using 6 coupons i ended up using 5. it happened to me, but i’m not sure if it’s a one time thing or what.

      • Hghjghg

No. it will not do that.

      • Guest

The only time that works is when your items are on sale BOGO, and the register will only allow that extra ‘negative/overage’ amount to go toward another of the same BOGO item.  It will not allow the ‘negative/overage’ amount to come off of different items.  It works when the items are on sale BOGO b/c the register reads those prices differently – it sees the item ring up at regular price, then the BOGO discount is taken off at the end of the transaction.  It doesn’t work on regular ‘sale’ items that are not BOGO b/c the discount for those items shows up immediately right there with the item.

        • JAS

Thank you all for your answers, I really appreciate it!

      • Cbeachlovr

        No it doesn’t

      • Nita Royal

Actually that has worked for me.  I had ..50 coupons for Mahatma rice that was on sale for $1.00  The first two coupons tripled, covering the entire $3 purchase, and the cashier gave me back the 3rd coupon because it beeped when there was no cost left to apply it against.  Did that twice during the last triples event.

    • Anonymous

How can I print a list of my Evic coupons? I’ve saved a lot of e coupons to my Vic card, but can’t figure out where to click to print a list. I’ve done it before, but can’t find it now.

      • Jillthepill2u

If you comprise your grocery list by clicking on the items and then print your grocery list while on the site, it will add the list of eVic (ZVRs) at the bottom.  It’s a mess to read, but it is there nonetheless.

      • Mapotte3

Go to the page with your saved e-vic coupons and press ctrl+p and it will bring up your printer, then simply click print and they will all come out without the advertisements! I do it every week!

      • Carolinablueyes84

LOL I always just put mine in an excel spread sheet…

    • Anonymous

totally forgot about my rainchecks. I had one for the Rhodes dinner

    • Andrea Ruley

So does the triples last for one week?

      • Guest

It starts tomorrow (wednesday 9/14) and goes through the end of the sale week (tuesday, 9/20).

    • david

i have a question regarding using walgreens coupons @ harris teeters? i was told 2 times that i couldnt use a walgreens coupon bc it said “walgreens only” at the top. but im seeing people that can use walgreens “RR” points or something like that? what is that exactly and how it works? any help please>?

      • Cbeachlovr

Hi ! yes you can use a walgreens coupon only if it says like $5 off total order just not on individual items…

        • CoMgr

the policy has changed. competitor coupons are accepted now, but it is at the discretion of the manager whether that company is a competitor within that area. Additionally, if a coupon says “use at Walgreens only” or something similar than it is considered a store coupon and it will not be accepted.

      • Anonymous

You used to be able to use RRs.  But now RRs say “redeem only at Walgreens”, so I doubt HT will take them any more.  (Publis and the military commissary used to and now can’t.)

    • Loveyalots316

The  Muellers coupon I printed off..it says you cant double it…I clicked on it here…printed and realized it said no doubling..does this mean it wont triple..and if so..whoever does this site might want to take it off bc it wont be free then..

      • Guest

HT’s official policy is that they won’t double/triple a coupon if the coupon says not to.  Some people are lucky and have stores that don’t seem to care about the policy.  But as a rule you can’t expect it to work if it goes against the policy.

      • Jessica

If the first number on the upc of the coupon is a 5 then it will automatically double or triple!!  If the upc starts with a 9 then it will Not Double or triple.  Also, if it doesnt scan and it has to be keyed in then they wont double or triple it (like if your ink is too light) .  My muellers coupons all had “5’s” and they tripled during the last triple coupon week and they always double during the regular week :)

        • Loveyalots316

it starts with a 5 :) ty!!!  it also said i could only print off 1…but somehow i got 2..so 2 free spaghetti :)

      • mrlau1979

I just called HT and they said they cannot triple it if  it states no doubling

    • ML515

Do manufacturer coupons still triple even with evic coupons?

      • Just4yall

        Do you mean even without?

        • ML515

Can you use a manufactured coupon and get it tripled, and use an evic?  So if you have a manufactured coupon for $0.75 off something, with this promotion it would be $2.25 off, and if you have an evic also, would it make it $3 off the product?

    • Couponmommy36

      experience couponers:

Do you have to give your vic card first? I was told by a manager at HT that if the coupon triples and it exceeds the cost of the item, it will only double, not triple to the item amount. So whether this is true or not, can you buy, give coupon, then give vic card? Will you come out better this way?

      • Just4yall

That is a good question that I cannot answer. I know you dont have to give your vic card first they cant force you. But I dont know if the price of the coupon will reduce once your card is scanned.

        • It has always tripled to the cost of the item or beyond depending on if their computer catches it or not.  You can’t participate in triples if you don’t have a card.

      • chrisite

i tried this last time and no matter what order it reduces to the cost of the coupon to the cost of the item (ex.Item is $1.50 coupon is .65 you will only get 1.50 off) the only way to get overage is via e-vic coupons and paper coupons stacked for same item the e-vic only works once then you must go back on and reset it

      • Anonymous

Coupons will not double or triple without having your VIC card scanned – otherwise they would not be able to track that you have used your 20 for the day.

    • Just4yall

OMG I have two many coupons and not enough days what do I doooooo.

    • Bscott16

FYI…I was at HT a few days ago and the Land O Frost Bistro Lunch Meats all had $.55 off peelie coupons…better than the $1 printable, especially for triples!

    • Mrlau1979

FYI on the Muller pasta coupon for 55 cent off state no doubling (or tripling) on it…so it’s not for free at HT…I had problems last time with it.

      • Jmgregory_99

i got it for free this morning at my local HT.

    • infantteacher

If i have a rain ck for domino sugar $2.79 and have a .65 coupon(also have .50 coupons) will these coupons triple since this week is triples?

      • Pamgam1

The coupons will triple as long as they do not say do not double or triple or begin with a “9”.  Just make sure you hand the raincheck before they ring the domino sugar so that they will give you the raincheck price,

    • Guest

Great trip today. Land o Lakes cinn sugar butter for $.20, free Tetley tea, $.25 Edge shave gel, 4 cans Chunky soup for $2.50, 4 boxes PopSecret for $3.38, 2 boxes 3 ply 120ct Kleenex $1.09, 100 load Purex hypo $3.99, 4 boxes Green Giant veg $2.60, 6 Ham/chicken helper $1.50 and lots more. Many of the coupons I used were from 9/12 newspaper. Good luck everybody!

      • Guest

Wow, I am sleepy. I meant the 9/11 paper.

    • Raelynnsmom

Does HT restock throughout the week when they have specials like this. I feel like if I don’t go the morning the deal starts I don’t get anything. Of course they enforce the no more than 3 of one item, (at least with me) but yet everything is still gone by the time I get there on Wed evening. Anyone have suggestions or insight to this problem?

      • kysmom2

yes several times. i think i was told a truck every other day or something to that nature.

        • I went at midnight the other evening and had to have someone open a box that was sitting on a pallet.  I gotta tell you – middle of the night is the best time to find what you are looking for.  I had to open four boxes, but they had what I needed and were in the process of restocking!!

also, i have called and asked Customer service to hold the items I was looking for until I got there.

My store has a truck every 3 days, so the best time to go here is early first thing in the morning after they’ve gotten their truck.  They don’t always get everything they’re out of on the trucks though, which is disappointing.  I do think they get dairy products differently though.  They always seem to be stocking that department around 10 am.

    • -.55/1 Mueller 100% whole grain pasta, SS 8/21 (This coupon does not double or triple)
Almost everything was gone… I was there a little before 9AM and the store only swapped over to triples at 7AM. :(

My store tripled it. They had spagetti and the angel hair left. Try another store maybe?

        • if the coupon says do not double, you shouldnt use it regardless if it works – thats cheating the system

          • it really isn’t cheating the system for 2 main reasons: 1- the manufacturer could instruct the sales department &printers to code the coupon differently. & 2 HT reserves the right to pull out any Q that state that.   i don’t feel the slightest bit guilty over this issue & i am a very picky&careful Qn user.

          Thanks for committing coupon fraud.

Yeah… I wouldnt admit that on here.. I accidently used a Jimmy D coupon on a Jimmy dean item and I felt so bad I took it back.. Mistakes do happen but I wish people would TRY and do it right!

          • I accidentally committed coupon fraud.  There was a toothbrush deal listed for a Colgate toothbrush for .09 – I used my .40/1 coupon on Wednesday and just today realized that the coupon excludes that particular type of toothbrush.  OOPS!  What do you do, accidents happen.

If a coupon states ‘Do Not Double’ does that also apply to tripling?

        yes

On the e-vic coupons that say CAN NOT be used with any other coupon, do they still stack with a manufacters coupon?  I didn’t want to loose out on the triple coupon and only be able to use the e-vic coupon, so I didn’t save the ones on-line.  I am new at the couponing thing, so I am not sure how all of it works.  However I have been saving at least 50-60% off everytime!  I hope this makes sense to someone.  Thanks for all the great tips!

I’m a little confused.  Do the printable coupons work or just the clipped ones out of the paper to be tripled?

      • I used both and they tripled just fine.  :D

Question re: Harris Teeter limits on purchase:

I know that for an evic, if there is a limit you can only purchase the item once at the limit.  However, if an item is not an evic and has a limit on purchase….say milk or meat, can I purchase the limit and return at another time and purchase the limit again?  Or is the limit tied to your vic card?
