Really unimpressive ad. Worse than a regular week and its SD’s! Hoping for some AWESOME unadvertised prices!

      • Rose

        i agree

      • Losingit

I agree, Brooke.  Pretty bad ad.  Fingers crossed on the unadvertised items!

    • Alyson

Loving these Starbucks deals this week!

    • Francesca

Anyone able to get the Bear Naked coupon? I couldnt find it after clicking on the link.

      • Lyndi_dawn

ive done this coupon ages ago, so im not sure if its still working but you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom where the cabin is and enter your info and they send you a coupon in your email. hope that works for you! :)

      • Thechapleigh

I scrolled to the bottom, left my name somewhere ( I had signed up before, so I had to hit some button & it popped up to leave my email again). Then I clicked onto some “yeti” brown creature on the bottom left screen. I had to search through & find 5 of those guys, then the box said “get your coupon”. Lots of work for a coupon! It will come in your email.

    • Mike

Wow that is an awesome Starbucks deal!!!! Thanks for posting!

    • Auriella

Thanks Jenny for all you do!!  SouthernSavers is, by far, by favorite couponing website.  Easy to read, easy to understand and you’ve made it so easy to learn how to save big bucks!   If I could send you a fraction of the money I’ve saved with your help, you’d be rich.. LOL.
I’m hoping Harris Teeter hooks us up with some coupon to shelf.  I was sooo excited to see they were doing Super Doubles but this is just sad.  I have my fingers crossed that there are some awesome deals still to be had.  Thanks again! :)

      • Auriella

        * coupon to shelp prices… my fingers got away from me

      •  Hey there,
        Thanks for the encouragement!

    • Mywolfcubs3

Will there be another list Jenny? Thank u!

    • Jessica

Is the bear naked product a good deal?

      • Barb

         Yes, that’s a great price!

      • maddin

how and where do you find the coupon? it takes me to the wintervention and i can not see any coupons

    • Goodkristen

oooo im hoping to sleep in-nothing i need to get up early for in this list :) thanks jenny

    • Lubisonbabe

Does anyone know if HT accepts Target coupons in the Nashville area?

      • SWolfertz

        no, they do not.

    • Labfans

Thanks for getting the list out to us early, Jenny! That is so helpful. I wish that HT would post a schedule of Super Double promotion weeks for the whole year, the way the coupon insert schedule is released.  It would enable us to amass additional high-value coupons without worrying that they will expire before a SD week rolls around.  Or maybe I’m just over-planning…

    • karen

      Get those rain checks out!

    • Kleckie

Lately I prefer just the regular weeks at HT. SD or triples the adds just arent’ great and it seems people get a little crazy.
Thanks for all your work Jenny, you save my family so much every week!!

      • Brooke

I agree! Regular weeks are a lot less stressful too! Every time my HT does SD’s or triples, the “hot” items are sold out.. Unless I got EVERYDAY to check whether these items are back in stock, I miss out. Like last time, during triples, the dole fruit (parfaits, crisps and plastic jars) were sold out by the time I got there at 3pm the first day. I went every day and was luckily to find about 5 between 7 trips. I was hoping to get 3 of each and that didn’t happen. I have been doing very well during the regular weeks lately though!

        • Labfans

My HT store doesn’t keep the shelves well stocked, either.  I’m going to try calling the store today to special-order something and see how it goes.  (I will have about 17 coupons for this item, but I would be lucky to find two of them on the shelf!)

          • Angi

17? HT will only take 3 like coupons so you may end up having to pay full price for the other 14 that you special order….be careful :)

            • Mtmkjr

The limit is for coupons that double/triple.  If it doesn’t involve that, then the limits don’t apply.
Otherwise, they can split the order into multiple transactions, in this case, 6.

        • Ask if there is any product in the back store room, and when the next supply truck is due. and if they are OUT, get the rain check

          • Brooke

I love rain checks but they really are not good if its during a super double week because my store at least wont’ honor the super double event.. Like if I get a rain check for smart balance milk and on sale for 3.00 and I get a rain check they only honor the sale price.. So if I go back when it stocked, I will pay 1.50 after my coupon instead of getting it for free.

            • Wowformisty

Really? I had every intention of using my raincheck this week with superdoubles. Is this normal for HT? I’d like to know what to expect to some degree.

            • Jean

I think she means if you get a raincheck during super doubles, the $1.50 coupon you have will not double after super doubles is over with

            • Wowformisty

Oh. Okay thanks!!!! I see now, i misread it.

        • Jwalker317

HT is selling out more and more with these doubles/triples.  And they don’t seem to give a sh*t.  I have gone on the first day by noon and 75% of the stuff i want is gone.  And when you pass on comments to the manager, etc., they don’t seem to care.  They seem annoyed by the couponers (which is odd during a “Super Doubles” COUPON EVENT).     Ive often wondered… I’m just a schmuck who goes online (with the help of Jenny/Southern Savers and more! Thx!)  and looks to see what the deals are… So… why can’t someone in the management of HT do the same to make sure that they have the stock they need when they have these sales?  If you as HT are having a BOGO on a product that is 4.19, AND you are having a SuperDubs event, AND there is a coupon for $1 making a 4.19 product sell for 9 freakin cents… YOU HAVE TO KNOW that you need more than your usual 6 of an item.  Sheesh.     And they have also started pulling this maneuver: An item sells out the first day… and WHEN do they have the shelves completely restocked? The DAY AFTER the sale ends.  How convenient.

      • paravel43

my HT was dead this morning at 9 AM and everything I wanted was in stock. my best deals were tub of charmin freshmates for .25, box of honey nut cheerios and lucky charms for 1.00 each, and caribou coffee for 4.99 (normally 10.19)! Oh, and uncle ben’s rice cups for .33 each. i agree the deals didn’t seem as good as in the past, but i was happy.

        • Samrah1

How did you get honey nut cheerios for $1. It’s 2/$6 even with a $1/2 that still makes it $2 each. There is a zvr for $0.50 so that would be $1.50 for one of them.

    • Thom

Ugh, I will finally be in a city with a Harris Teeter this weekend and I see nothing I would like. I’m sad. Looks like those with rain checks may come out of this smelling like a rose! Good shopping luck to everyone.

    • Alicia

The ad sure looks disappointing this time around.  Regular weeks are looking better all the time now.

    • Tendks

Nothin here. Maybe the Lowes SD ad will be better.

    • racecitymom

FYI~My HT take Walgreens RRs, CVS ECBs, & Rite Aid UP+Rewards!!!

      • paravel43

are you sure about ECB’s? i thought all HT’s stopped taking those about 6 months ago. i know mine did.

        • Katie M

It depends on whether your Harris Teeter sees CVS as a competitor.  Because my Harris Teeter and CVS are in the same parking lot, they take ECBs.  The one across town doesn’t even though there is still a CVS close to them.

(I started responding to this and thought, hey, wait… is this Anne?)

    • sam

I have two Lowes within a couple of miles of me, and slew of HTS, so maybe this will be a good opportunity to checkout Lowes.  Everytime I go there it is deserted.

    • Svetla

Jenny has another pretty long list for the HT Super Doubles…This is not the only list, please check her other post under Harris Teeter

      • Wowformisty

I’d like to know as well….

      • guest

You can’t get it anymore.  HSN had it as an offer last December, but it sold out in like a day.  Sorry :(

      • Davisa

do a search on it,  they are available, 2.99 for the booklet!
Kraft 20 top Seasonal Recipes for 2012 booklet

    • HT also takes the Winn Dixie $5 off $55 store coupons.

    • Bowb4me2

Is that a good price for the Banana Boat Sunscreen? I might as well stock up for summer if that’s a good price.  ($5.99 with coupon)

      • Jndhopkins

CVS has there brand 2 for $10 this week and it works just as well.

    • Momdeals

Where do you get the  Kraft 20 Top Seasonal Recipes for 2012 booklet?  I could sure use some of those coupons.

      • Mywolfcubs3

i have been told that some people ordered like in December of last year

        • Momdeals

Ordered from Kraft?  I seem to miss out on a lot of coupon booklets.  Thanks.

    • Apple Country

      Went 730 AM
Make SURE you know that most Smart Balance coupons DO NOT double!!  Some words are in small print in the middle of a paragraph most of us don’t read.  My best values were Dawn dish soap (free) and yes the hand renewal
coupon DOES work on the other scents), Hershey’s chocolate syrup (about 70 cents a can, Frozen dinner rolls 90 cents, Deer Park water, about a dollar for a 6 pack, and Jimmy Dean sausage (1.99 on sale).

      • Mtmkjr

The register will double them automatically unless the cashier overrides.  They are coded to allow the double.  Depends on how your store handles the DND wording.
Also, even thought the Hand Renewal “works” on other scents, it is improper coupon use to use it other than what it’s intended for.
        Not. OK.

      • paravel43

my smart balance have always doubled and they did again today. got a half gallon of milk for .99.

      • Rkvanb

if there is a 5 before the barcode they will automatically double. Mine always double :)

      • EVERETT_GIRL04

At my HT they will still double even if it says DND.

My smart balance ones always doubled today, I did not do the smart balance milk deal, nor do I plan to because I used my coupons 2 weeks ago when they were BOGO, I was kind of amused that today they were almost gone, when they were BOGO, i did not get there until that afternoon and no one had touched them at our store, i bought 19 and it barel even dented the shelf, I am good on milk until next deal, so saving my coupons

Interesting you were able to buy 19. My stores isn’t stocked that well. You must have done several separate transactions or went back every day. They did fly off the shelf last time at my store when they were BOGO, they ended up being $.49. I got 3 then. I was lucky and a friend gave me more of the coupons since the BOGO, some were due to expire today so I got 3 deals, had to do them in separate transactions in order to get the free butter. This is actually a better deal than the BOGO if you want the Spreadable butter which I needed, I hope it’s as good as Land O’ Lakes. With this deal you get a half gal. of milk and spreadable butter that sells for $2.49 for $.99.

Where did you find your 1/1. All I see is baby oil or baby lotion in the database. I mostly need babywash. I have 3 kiddos under 4, so we go through it a lot!!

I had those coupons and printed them a few weeks back from coupons.com, not sure if they are available still.

          • EVERETT_GIRL04

        • EVERETT_GIRL04

I cant findt the bear naked granola $2.00 coupon it takes me to the website but I dont see the coupon.. Where is it located?

      • CJ

You’ve got to play the game. Scroll down through the winter scene and click on all the Yeti creatures. I think there are about 5-6. Then it will ask you to enter your email address to be mailed a coupon.

    • This week’s ad was the most horrible I have seen from HT.  There was almost nothing in the ad I wanted, save for Kraft Mayo.  I went this morning before work, it was easy to get the 20 coupons used, pre-coupon price was $89 spent $45 so I was happy, especially V8 Splash 2/$5 (bought 6 overall) and Febreze Carpet Cleaner being on sale for 3.99 (1.50 coupon doubled made it .99 cents, bought three of them!)

      • Jeaninesatel

What was the deal on the V8 Splash that made you happy?

    • Daylog

thank you to all the shoppers that post what jenny didnt have it helps alot!!!  :)

    • Sorry if this has been mentioned already, I don’t have time to read everything, but the McCain Purely Potatoes were on sale for $2.69 at my store. I had a coupon from the paper for $1 (sorry, don’t know what week it’s from) and I think you can print a coupon on their facebook page. You also get a $1 credit from Savingstar. So it’s a .31 money maker. :)

      Cam someone enlighten me please?
Tried to use smart balance milk q’s 2day but the cashier carefully scrutinized the fine print which said “do not double”…which I’ve never seen/noticed b4 on these q’s. However it has a 5 at the beginning and from my understanding, HT eats the cost when a coupon doubles (ie a $.50 q doubles, and the mfgr pays 50 and HT covers the othr 50).
Why would a mfgr q EVER say ‘DND’? I don’t understand why the mfgr wud care if HT chooses to add to the customer savings.
Anyone know why this policy is in place and the practical purpose/reasoning for it?
      Thanks! :-)

I haves wondered about that myself as well.  I have even asked that SAME question on here and got no response.  Because like you said, when a store doubles/triples a coupon, they do it on their own and eat the cost, so why does it matter to them if a coupon says “DND” on it?

      • Guest

Some Harris Teeter’s double coupons that say DND some don’t. It’s up to the store management I guess. Most of time my HT’s do double them. I used 3 Smart Balance $1.50 coupons this week and they all doubled at HT and I didn’t get any hassle. As Jwalker317 said the store eats the cost of the doubled coupon. However what has been posted on this site before is the reason some manufacturers put the DND on the coupon is to limit the number that actually get redeemed. I guess they plan for a certain number to be redeemed and if stores double them many more than what was planned actually are redeemed upsetting their projections. To me it would make more sense to just issue just the number that you plan to have redeemed and not mess around with the DND wording as it just tends to irritate your customers that use coupons and in my opinion says something negative about that manufacturer.

Go for the young cashiers. In my case, I’ve learned to go for the young guys. It never fails! Yesterday I bought one quarter of smart balance milk and my HT is giving away on smart balance buttery spread. My coupon doubled without any problem and I got butter for free. The cashier didn;t even look at the coupon. I’ve had terrible experiences with girl cashiers (in their 50’s) and they are so freaking mean.. So now I go for the young cashiers :)

Type yourHello everyone!! Went to HT and they still have the Mentos gum Pure for
$.99. So with your $.55/1 it will be free plus overage. Also the
Neutrogena Hand cream is not on sale at my HT so they were priced at
$3.29 with the $1/1 got it for $1.29 but I like FREE better. I also
wanted to point out that if you visited http://www.coupons.com they have a B1G1
free Scotch Brite disinfecting wipes 35ct or larger. Well at Walmart
they are $1.00. Great deal on wipes. Walmart still have the Reach floss
for $.97, so I definitely stocked up on those. Check out your Walmart store this week. Be Bless but most of all Be a Blessing :) comment here.
