    • Nichole

Is anyone else having trouble locating the Fisher coupon?? I printed two yesterday to use at Publix to get them for free , but now I am on a different computer and can’t find them through Jenny and I also can’t find them through smartsource.com …. anyone else see them? Or did they take it off? Thanks!

    • BarbaraSC

At one point it was mentioned that for the super doubles will double coupons up to $1.98….at the top of the list it says .99 cents….does anyone know which it is?

      • Deborah

        My alerts say 1.98 :)

        • BarbaraSC

Thanks!!! My nearest Harris Teeter is quite a drive for me, so I just wanted to be sure and plan carefully. ;-)

          • Andrea

HT also allows managers to make decisions about competitor coupons. I have 3 HTs within a few miles of me. One of them takes Walgreens Register Rewards and the other 2 don't. All my now only take 2 internet coupons and 3 printed. I like using my RRs at HT cause I don't have to do the dance at Walgreens (although I don't buy too much there anyway).

      • Crista

It's up to 1.98 during super doubles, they double up to .99 everyday.

        • Tisha

Thanks. I was really confused, too. :-)

    • pachristy

I thought super doubles was up to $1.50

      • Crista

No, it's up to 1.98, but in reality, you don't see many coupons between 1.51 and 1.98…I'm not sure I ever have. :O)

    • Lisa

I can't find the Kraft Ranch Dressing coupon in my SS…I'm in Charlotte, anyone else have this problem?

      • Ana Maria S.

Yeah I actually have quite a few coupons that do not match up to the ones Jenny listed…the Kraft dressing one I have is only 55 cents off and the Worcestershire sauce is only $1.00 off and the Honey Mustard sauce is only $1.00 off (still good prices but not free which is what I was hoping) I guess the values vary greatly by region…I'm in Asheville btw. I just printed my list off with the matchups I know for a fact I have the right coupons for to get the best deals.

        • LeAnnaShaw

The honey mustard is 2/4 here…so the 1 c makes it free! I got enough worstishire during trips..so I am good on that…lol. I am trying to focus on free or nearly free and not get carried away

        • Since there are so many variations of different values and areas I try to only list the coupon option that would make it the best price or free. This early out though you could order any coupons for other values if you wanted to..

    • NC COUPON MOM

new hope commons NC-54 Durham HT, they wont let me any internet coupons. blonde white lady…. she is weird… her's eyes is kinda….stupid…lol

      • kardomr

i don't even bother with that store.
some of the managers are crazy anti coupon.

        • NC COUPON MOM

one of at Chatham county in Chapel Hill.they take everything!!! i talked to manager he said, he will take any coupons noo limit!!!

        • LeAnnaShaw

Well in this case, I would either call customer service-or go to the HT web site and to the 'contact us' and write an email. I did that once. I was AMAZED at the level of customer service. She may be the manager- but she in interperting the coupon policy wrong! And that is just wrong.

          • NC COUPON MOM

i contacted corporate, they gonna call Store Manager about their Coupon Policy.

            • LeAnnaShaw

score one for the couponer!!!! I read your above post and I would go in at least once and use my internet coupons…just for the fun of it! LOL…just the lil devil in me!

      • SaraSaves

I've had no issues with either HT on 54 in Durham.

        • NC COUPON MOM

that HT is worst HT forever!!!!!!! i wont go there!!!anymore!!!! i was following that policy. but they wont let me use any of my internet coupon!!

      • LeAnnaShaw

this is where it helps to know your coupons policys and have them in hand. HT only allows you to use 2 of the same kind of internet coupons. I would certianly be calling and talking to manager!

        • NC COUPON MOM

i talked to manager she said she wont take it.. because final price gonna be free!!!

          • Melissa

I have also had this problem at the HT on NC-54. Those cashiers are not friendly and when I am getting items for free they look at me as if I am robbing them!

            • NC COUPON MOM

            • NC COUPON MOM

sorry in 2nd sentence. she is not doing her JOB!! NOT!!!gosh!!lol
and i went to Medownmont HT inChapel HILL. they took everything.

      • Aubrey Jensen

Hey, I'm in Durham too!!! Although, I go to the one on Horton Road. They are AWESOME during couponing events. They usually look at your receipt at the end of a purchase and verbally tell you how much they saved, almost always with a smile! Check it out!

        • Sarah

Wow I go to the Horton one too and love it-they always seem to restock and don’t mind all of the coupons I have!!

      • Megan

I understand that you are not happy with a transaction but you don’t have to name call. I bet you are a “dream” customer. We are not entitled to anything for free but because HT doubles and triples it does allow us to get free items alot of times and we should be thankful. Also try to keep in mind cashiers don’t make a ton of money and certainly not enought to deal with your sour attitude. As my mother has always said and it is so true if you can’t say anything nice do not say anything at all. The complaint was valid but the insult was uncalled for.

    • LeAnnaShaw

If you have ortega coupons left…I have one for 1/2. The beans are $1 each! Or you can get sauce packets or green chilles for 4/$5. Also the Wesson oil(48 oz) was on sale for 2.99 this week and stays on sale next week(reg 4.89) I have a 1/2 coupons. so that makes it 2.00 each! I think that coupon came from the All mag(had to be april or may) And if you have any of the TGIF's 1.50 c(a lot of pple used these on the tgif chips) it will make for a cheap frozen app(I think they run around $4-but I LOVE their potato skins!) Our HT is open 24 hrs…my son gets off of work at 10:00 pm…I told him to come get me and by the time we shop-it will be midnight and I can check out! He is 24 yrs old, and he is such fun to shop w/ and teach 'the ropes'! I can hardly wait….but am limiting my self to only the VERY good deals! Our freezers are full-my coat closet can't hold coats any longer….(thank goodness it is summer). I just love this site and all the Jenny does!!!

      • MomMe

I am not sure about super doubles, but during triples HT doesnt start till 7 am in 24 hour stores, so call your store before heading out!

        • LeAnnaShaw

oh thanks very much mom……I will call and ask them! I sure would hate to stay up that late for nothing!

    • shelleyws

I cannot get the Dove coupons to print. I keep hitting print and it says that they have printed. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

    • Kelly

You are da bomb. Thank you!

    • je55ic4

I tried to use the chobani b2g1 internet printable the other day and they wouldn't take. Said Q policy is no internet “free” item coupons allowed. I asked, “not even when it requires a purchase?” and they said yes. Anyone else had this problem?

      • Anonymous

harris teeter’s coupon policy says that they do not accept buy one get one free internet printable coupons. you can read the policy somewhere on http://www.harristeeter.com.

        • LeAnnaShaw

I just re-read their policy-to clarify-b/c I don't want to do anything wrong. And I know that they have accepted my b1g1 internet c's. So, under internet coupon heading it says no free internet item coupons. That is totally different than B1G1. It would be a coupon you would print that would say 'this coupon is good for a FREE bag of potatoes' or whatever. That is a common misconception that a lot of people get confused w/ and some merchants as well. Hope that helps

          • LeAnnaShaw

oops…sorry about the double answer…..thought the first one did not take…

            • denise

Thanks for the info. they have not taken a b1g1 from me before and when i read the coupon policy, I thought, okay, then they were right, I was wrong. But I didn't realize a free coupon should be treated differently from a b1g1 free. Thanks for pointing this out.

            • audrey

Policy is they do not allow INternet B1G1. WIll not work in my area at all end of story I was told my multiple HT's.

        • LeAnnaShaw

Denise, I went and checked it out-b/c I don't want to do anything wrong-or get anyone in trouble…and I know I have used int. b1g1's. Under internet it says no 'free' coupons. This is different than b1g1. It would be like you have a coupon printed off for a 'free bag of chips'. It is a common misconception among consumers and merchants alike. Just sat I used my b1oreo and 1 milk and get one free oreo! It was an int. coupon. So I was thinking…'omg…could I have gotten that cashier in trouble…?'

      • LeAnnaShaw

I have used those coupons in the past. A FREE coupon is if you went in w/ a coupon for FREE chobani. A b1g1 is totally different. I would reccomend you send an email to the coorperate office through their site-or call them.

    • sarahelizabeth523

Hello Lovely couponers, as a Harris Teeter employee I would like to let you know that we are only supposed to take 3 mfr coupons but if they work most will take them, so please don't get mad at us if they don't work and the managers tell us we can't take them. I love you guys and love that you are saving money so good luck!:)

      • LeAnnaShaw

I honestly don't mind you limiting. I know that we can only use two internet coupons for the same item too. Rules are rules. The problems happen when the company does not post a comprehensive coupon policy! Does HT state that in their coupon policy. If not-I would suggest that someone update it!

      • heather

I think you should only take the 3 couple limit allowed, that will mean everyone gets a fair chance at all the great deals!!

    • monicacoupons

Hello, I am new to couponing and this site is awesome. I just purchased a subscription to All You Magazine. I purchase 2 to 3 Sundays Newspapers per week, I print the printable coupons that are on this site. Is there anything else I should subscribe to that has alot of coupons in it. Any other tips to getting coupons? Also Harris Teeter wouldn't allow me to stack there coupon that printed with my receipt with a newspaper coupon. Is that the store policy? Also how do you track the sales? Last week I purchased Kens salad dressing for $1 each with coupon and now I see the Super Double this week where it will be 19 cents each. I am pretty bummed about that. Any tips or comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks

      • Kara

Welcome to the world of couponing! It takes some time to get the hang of it, but you'll get it.
As far as getting other coupons, I make sure to sign up for any booklet that is available. Jenny usually posts a link when there is a coupon booklet available and the company will send it to your house. Also, keep your eyes peeled for any coupons in the store- tearpads, blinkies, and peelies– some stores keep these more stocked then others, it just depends.

With the coupons that printed with your receipt, most of them are manufacturers coupons- so it is correct that you can't use it with a newspaper coupon (which is also a manufacturer coupon). If it states manufacturers coupon on the top, you can't use it with another manu coupon. The only way you can use two coupons on the same item is if one is a manu coupon, and one is a store coupon, and harris teeter doesn't have many store coupons out there.

The more you do, you'll learn what is a good price for the items you buy. most items will go on sale every 6-8 weeks or so, and you want to try to buy on sale with a coupon. I have learned what prices are good for my area and I'll stock up when it is around or below that price. I think we've all bought something at one price thinking it was a good deal, and then seeing a lower price later… either way we are still saving money so don't be bummed! you'll learn rock bottom prices as you go… it really gets easier!

        hope this helps!

        • monicacoupons

Thank you that does help. I appreciate your comment.

      • birdwatcher

Be on the lookout for the Cardboard Penguin. He often hangs out in the refrigerated or frozen food sections (penguins – go figure) but sometimes he hides in a corner at the back of the store. If your store is oddly shaped, you might walk past without seeing him.

    • deniseCLT

there is an internet coupon for $1 off eagle mills flour white whole wheat and $1 off pam. just google eagle mills flour coupon and the sites that you can print them from will pop up at the top of the search results. this is great, it is very difficult to find coupons for whole wheat flour.

    • me

alot of these things won't be the prices posted it they only double coupons that are 99 cents and under. I see prices on here where a $1.50 coupon was doubled. confusing.

      • JL

It is super doubles starting May 19th. They will double everything up to $1.98.

    • timnlori

I asked a manager yesterday @ my favorite Charlotte HT about super double coupons next week. He looked @ me like I had 2 heads. He said they were not doing it because he had not been notified. I guess they need to have the staffing or something. Anyone else, …

Also, I was just reading a post, can you use 2 coupons for the same item if you only buy 1?

      • jess

The stores don't find out very far in advance. I'm in the charlotte area and my store does it when jenny announces it. I'm sure yours will too. You can't use 2 coupons for one item. Jenny shows all the coupons out there for that item and then you pick which one you want to use or which you have.

    • Kim

      Thank you!

    • Brandy W

      Jenny,
If you, or somone else, can answer this question, I would really appreciate it. I only have one HT within 30 miles of me, so I normally only go there during super doubles or triples. When I went for my first triples, I was told by my cashier that they wouldn't double or triple any coupons for me that said DND or triple. I had a lot of those type of coupons, but read on here that it would double or triple if it started with a 5. My cashier didn't even try to scan them, she just told me 'no'. I only purchased many of the items b/c of the great price with coupons, so I had her take those things off my order. It was very embarrasing, (and also a waste of my time), so I'm hoping to avoid this in the future. She told me they would NOT be reimbursed the full price if the coupon stated DND or whatever, and they doubled it anyway. Is that true??? I don't want to steal from them, but I want to make sure my cashier wasn't just misguided. Thanks!

      • Nicki

I have found that they pay much more attention to the small print on coupons when they are doing triples or super doubles. It is more of a hit or miss with the DND coupons doubling when it isn't triples or super.

      • bunchofpants

This varies from store to store. My closest HT doubles/triples even the ones that says DND or triple. I think it may be because we have a LOT of HTs (and competing grocery stores) around here, and maybe the store manager would rather have us come to his store than another one nearby. So they seem to be super nice to me and the other couponers!

        • NC COUPON MOM

          where you live?

      • carolyn090

call and ask for a manager im guessing that store is one that doesnt . i shop ht in ——— fla. a cahier and manager told me that they do not ,a few days later while shopping i was told by another shopper that they do double the dnd for her and even told me the cashiers name .lets just say for a second i decided that i want my coupons to be doubled too and went to the register w/ them asked for the cashier that would double them , and caused a big scene . i didnt , really if you can get the deals even if they are not suppose to then good for you, i aint mad at you .i just leave the dnd at home. way to much stress for me . will they? wont they?

      • frugalista

Stores are never reimbursed for doubling or tripling coupons. The double or tripled amount is the store's loss. The manufacturer only pays the value of the coupon plus 8 cents. The additional savings to the customer comes from the store. Basically, it seems to vary from one store to the next and I would guess it depends somewhat on whether their leniency or stringency with couponers gains or loses them money. My HT is very couponer friendly and I try to be as patient and ingratiating as possible to anyone who helps me so that it stays that way. :)

        • LeAnnaShaw

Personally I wish that the manq would just start the dag gone coupons w/ a 9 if they don't want it to double! Most of the time my q's go through and double…(even when they say do not) b/c they start w/ a 5. Yet there are times that the cashier is super picky. And I lose out then…in my own mind! LOL. But I dont' make a stink, b/c I go there a lot-and I appreciate all they DO do! The only time I questioned them was when I did not get my catalina on my totinos pizza rolls. I went back w/ reciept that said 5@???(they were b1g1-but HT rings at 1/2 price) Snotty front end gal said…you got them at b1g1. I said-'but it still says I bought 5?' how does the register know?' The young man manager then went into a speil about how they did 1/2 price for the benefit of customers who don't need two….blah blah blah-how they SERVE me…etc. I agree…thanks bud..But that is your company's policy-don't try and guilt me..I have a fam of 6 I always take the b1g1-The funny thing is-that just recently I realized that I should not have gotten back that money from the catalina coup-b/c I bought the boxes-not bags. I am going in tomorrow and giving it back! Fair is fair!

B2G3 Old Orchard Healthy Balance Juice (64 oz.)
Coupon = B1G1 All You May
      **Makes it B1G4 FREE!**

      • Brittney

I saw that one too for the healthy balance. I'm definately getting some juice.

        • Kim

I also use a 50 cent off coupon with this deal because I was still paying for 1 bottle of juice so I got $1.00 off the bottle I was paying for!

      • Katie

how does the healthy balance B1G1 free work? How can you get 4 for free with one coupon? Thanks!

        • S_Carolina_Girl

They are on sale for B2G3 free. So, automatically you get 3 free. Then, when you use the B1G1 on the two you need to purchase, it means you only pay for one, and get 4 free.

      • Kim

I'm wondering why I don't have the coupon B1G1 in my May All You magazine?

        • Kazzandra

It's at the end of the magazine in a rather hidden place. Look carefully at those last few pages.

        • S_Carolina_Girl

It is hard to find. If you go to the next to the last page – it is the section of ads, and should be pink across the top. It says “Just for You” in the top right corner (p.151?). The coupon is on the bottom right.

      • Trey's mom

I don't have the Old Orchard B1G1 in my May All You either!

        • marysc

I thought I didn't either since it wasn't listed in the coupon index, but it is on the next to last page (right side)!!

    • Terri

Does HT double the catalina coupons that print out of the register? Thanks

      • Cindy

My HT (nashville) will not even accept catalinas that are from another store, even if they say “Manufacturers coupon” on them.

        • kate

Hwy 100 HT took my Kroger catalina that was for a few bucks off with no problem.

      • sarahelizabeth523

        they are supposed to.
        call corporate.

        • shoppingfool

Actually virtually all catalinas printed from harris teeter start with a nine on their barcode(which instantly stops an automatic double/triple) or state in big bold letters “Do Not Double” which is yet another reason they'd be stopped. While some Harris Teeter employees don't mind passing the DND qs through that will double/triple, it's in their policy not to do so. I have several stores that will double DNDs, but never a catalina and never a coupon that starts with a nine(UNLESS it does not say DND on it somewhere, then the managers, who are pretty much awesome, will manually override it and correct it)

          • sarahelizabeth523

well i was actually replying to the person below. I work there so i know the rules.

      • Crista

they do not, and I've never heard that they are suppose to. The coding on them are completely different. I have at 4 diff. HT's that I go to and none of them double/triple those (they'd have to manually put them in to do it) and my HT's are VERY couponer friendly, so I would think they would if it was policy to do so. I don't usually mess with the catalina's I get from them unless it's money off my next purchase, because I can usually get better deals with other coupons than with the catalina's.

      • heather

No, they are not and they never have.

    • Cindy

I have a HT near me which I love, however during triples a few weeks ago, I went to a different one because I was in the neighborhood. I only got a few things but I was basically nixed at every twist and turn during this venture. While checking out, two employees were discussing how they watched a couple come in and leave and then return for another run and they had their manager throw them out.

I met a man in the parking lot that also had his handy dandy coupon notebook and we talked about it. He said as soon as they see that you're working with coupons they watch you like a hawk. The previous day, they had also given him a hard time.

It is ridiculous that people who are trying to get a good deal (and we still wind up spending money at their stores!) are made to feel guilty for their thrifty shopping. Hopefully others aren't abusing the system and messing it up for us who are trying to do the right thing.

Why do they have these special things and then make it so hard for you to take advantage of the savings??! This is why I don't go to HT unless it's special coupon time.

      • Brittney

yeah why do they watch you like a hawk when you have coupons in hand?

        • Crista

Some stores just seem to act like you are stealing and they make it hard for you to use the very thing that got you in the store. I'm sure coorporate would love to hear about this store. They WANT your business and this is not what they had in mind with putting out the sales. I have one HT that has certain employees that are hard on you, they just REALLY inforce the rules though where as most don't care. For instance, I don't use expired coupons on purpose, but every now and then one will slip past me. I had one guy checking every q, but I couldn't figure out what he was looking for…it was expiration date, and sure enough he found one that was one day out of date…he wouldn't scan it. Another woman at a particular store makes sure you only use one coupon on a buy one get one free purchase. So if I want to use coupons there (and she is working) I can only buy one item at a time. They are not doing anything wrong,,,just really enforcing the rules, but most of the stores/ employees, just don't care an will scan them all and only look closely if it doesn't scan right. I've had managers tell me they just want our business and they will take anything that scans. I use to have problems with stores not taking the ones that say “do not double/triple” but now if they scan, they take them….i think the managers realized we stopped going to those stores, because so many say that, it wasn't worth the effort to shop there. Usually stuff like this is just little people flexing the little power they have. I feel sorry for them, laugh it off, and shop at a different store when I can. I'm lucky though, I have 4 HT's very close to me, and at least 4 others within a very reasonable distance.

      • Leigh

Unfortunately, lots of people are sneaky and greedy and ruin it for the rest of us. HT gets face value + 8 cent for the coupon, anything above that (double, triple or super double) is a LOSS for their store. A friend is a store manager and tells me the horror stories. Right now some couponers do crazy stuff, hide products the day before sales, verbally abuse and argue with cashiers, use expired coupons, etc…so yes, because of those people we all get scrutinized.

        • Kelly

I dont think Harris Teeter is losing a thing! Many of their prices are double Bilo and Food Lion stores in the area where I live. They would have more shoppers on a regular day if they were competitive.

      • Jenn

As someone who works in marketing, I understand why some employees get frustrated with us. The intention of these promotions is for shoppers to see a sale and head to the store with a coupon or two and leave with $50 or $75 in other “deals”. These are businesses and not food banks so it’s not surprising when they aren’t too happy to see a couponer leave the store with four bags of groceries and only a few dollars in their registers. This is why I try and be the nicest and most gracious shopper possible and not act like a greedy jerk. If every shopper at HT had a stack of 20 coupons to double or triple and walked out with a bill of $2, they would immediately stop doubling and tripling so remember, this may not last forever. It’s because I understand and appreciate their promotions that I don’t gripe when I get a hard time at the checkout and I’m really disappointed to see others complain about “mistreatment”. Imagine if you ran a restaurant and diners figured out a legitimate way to eat for free every night but still expected great service, help on what to order, and lots of refills. At first you might consider them thrifty and you’d go along with it but at some point you might get irritated—especially if you heard that these customers were starting to complain about the service. These employees can get into a lot of trouble if they are caught slipping on coupon rules (even fired) and though we’d all love for them to look the other way when it comes to expired or DND coupons, these stores are still businesses. Look at it from their perspective—couponers don’t go to HT and pay full price—we only shop there when we can get our groceries for free or cheap. Bottom line—be thankful when you can walk out of the store with a single item for free.

        • Marlene

well said. i wish more of us felt and acted this way.

        • kris

I agree! Well said!!! Thank you.

      • UNC MED

Its people like you that abuse the system. I cut coupons too and would love to keep going back in and getting more and more for free and using more than one vic card. But the people who do this end up buying all the coupon products and then leave us who follow the rules without product to buy. I wish everyone would follow the 20 per day per customer rule. Then everyone would be able to get the products they want!

      • stef

The silly thing about the couple coming in for another run is that they couldn't have gotten away with it most likely anyway.

I miscounted my coupons during the last triples week and while I was checking out remembered something I meant to get. I paid then went back to the aisle to get the item and tried to check out. My coupon did not triple. I went back and checked the first receipt and counted and I had 20 coupons when I thought I'd only used 19. The computer however kept track.

Now I'm just trying to figure out what they mean by “day”. I have a few more coupons to use today but I went and used my 20 last night so I don't know if I need to wait 24 hours or if it changed over at midnight!

    • Judy

Does Harris Teeter double their own coupons?

      • RebeccaFer

It depends on which coupons you're talking about. If you mean the catalina machine's coupons, those start with a 9 so they will not double. If you mean wine tags, those are not truly HT coupons so if they start with a 5 and are within the doubling range, they will double. If it's money off a total purchase, those will not double. The main thing is to see if it starts with a 5 or 9. Five most likely will double unless it specifically says not to double and the cashier doesn't allow it to double but if it starts with a nine, it's not going to double no matter what is done. HTHs! :D

      • Judy I asked a cashier if the HT coupons that print out with your receipt double, and I was informed that they do not. It also says Not Subject to Doubling on the coupon.

      Dumb question….
Since HT doesn't take Qs for free items, will they accept the “free bottle of bull's eye” and hotdog coupons we received in the kraft summertime packet? if not, do you know which store might?

Kraft melt-aways were marked down to $1.99 at my HT, and there is a $1 q out there for them! My kids love the nacho ones melted in all the free mission tortillas from a few weeks ago.

      • Amy

I couldn't find the Melt-Aways! I was there super early, too. Are they by the Deli-Selects?

    • Cathy

Where in the world is the Fisher Fusion trail mix located in HT?? I look each time and can't find them. Where are they hiding? Thanks!

A few months ago I was shopping at HT and my total came up over 8 dollars negative. The cashier told me I had to go back and get more items because they don't give cash back. I asked how the total could possibly be negative but the cashier just kept barking “We don't give cash back. You have to buy more items.” So I ran through the store and grabbed more stuff. When I got my receipt I saw a $10 RX Reward on it. I have never had a prescription at HT and I am the only one who uses my VIC card. Can anyone explain how this happened? I liked getting free stuff but it would have been nice to think about what to get in advance.

I just got $60 worth of groceries for $2.95!!!! Love Harris Teeter!!

    • tahsha

Krunchers chips are on sale for 2/$5 and there is also a $1 q for them making them only .50! Blue bunny personals are 3/$4 and there is a printable $1 pdf Q that is emailed to you after joining their “club.” Oscar Meyer deli creations are .50 after $1 q as well.

Jenny, Where do you find out the info for the catalina deals?? Today I bought 3 mcormick spices and only got 1.50 off your next order, and I also got 4 velveeta single serve cups and didnt get any catalina.

    • Deb

What happened to the meal deal post? I went to HT today to get it and it came up to $9.99 instead of $6.99, so I came home to check and it is gone! Was i here, or am I seeing things?

    • Shirley

FYI, my HT had Capri-Sun Sunrise for $2.69 on sale, and there is a $1off Q in my SS4/25 insert. It expires 5/23, so if any of you still have it, use it to get the Capri-Sun for only 69c.

    • Erica

The Harris Teeter here in Middle Tennessee has Hartz dog biscuits B1G1. They are normally $4.29 which makes them $2.15 each. If you have ever bought these before you should have $1 off coupons that came in the box. I know I have several. Anyway, HT will double the coupon right now, which makes each box $0.15.

    • wickhamlee

Finished my second day of Super Doubles shopping. Love it. One deal I found at my HT was Kraft Deli Deluxe slices 2/5.00, which I much prefer to the less expensive processed cheese slices. I had several $1/1 (2 print out and 2 from SS), so I got .50 deluxe cheese slices.

    • Heather

Just ran across some q's in the SS 3/28 for 1.00/1 Stixx butterfingers box and at my HT they are normally priced at 2.19, so that makes them .19 each! Never had these but for .19 cents I'm going give them a whirl:) Also, 1.00/2 Flipz bag choc. coverered pretzles which are on sale for 1.50 each making them 2 for 1.00.

    • Katie

      Lots of great deals here!

I have some general questions about HT… I’m very new to serious couponing. Thank you for any and all responses.

      1) Can you combine printable coupons from coupons.com with coupons from Red Plum? i.e. $.50 doubled online coupon, plus $.25 doubled circular coupon, for a total of $1.50 off?

      2) Can you combine the store coupons (that print at the register) with other coupons?

I have their coupon policy printed, but this information was still unclear to me.

      Thanks a million!

      • marysc

No, only one manufacturer coupon from any source. Manufacturer coupons usually say so on the top and they have bar codes that start with a 5 or a 9. At most stores you can stack a manufacturer coupon with a store coupon… will say “retailer” or “store”, and may or may not have a bar code (but it will NOT start with a 5 or a 9). But HT has very few store coupons (Publix, BiLo, and Food Lion have a ton, and Publix will take competitor's store coupons).

    • Kelly

I am amazed at how high the prices are at the Harris Teeter in Rock Hill, SC…. Everytime there are triples or super doubles I think I can use Jenny's list and at least get the price close to what she is getting…well this HT takes the cake. Jenny's HT has dove at 3.35….oh–not at this one…it was 4.79!…and its like that on alot of stuff. So I have learned to only get the stuff that is free or less than a dollar. Harris Teeter needs to wake up and realize we arent dumb!

    • becky

i am confused i got a $1.00 catalina?? after I checked out on Good Life Dog Treats. I also have a $1.00 coupon from the paper.. will they double my $1 and still take off the other dollar? it says manufacturers coupon on it but it says redeemable at ht. help

      • Heather

No they won't take both. The catalina is a manuf coupon and if you have another manuf q from the paper then you have to pick one, because you can only use 1 manuf. q per item. You should use your paper q now because it will double, and the catalina won't. Save that for when they go on sale and use it then:) Or you could just use both and get 2 items, just the cat. wont' double. Hope that helps!

        • becky

thank you heather, but what good is that coupon?? unless you really need it, who would buy it from ht alot cheaper somewhere else, will food lion or lowes honor them??

          • Crista

Good question…I don't end up using Catalina's very often. Unless it's something I use that I rarely get coupons for (which is not very often) I don't even hold onto them. Sometimes you get money off your next purchase, those are the only ones I'm interested in! LOL

(Oh, and I don't knowif other stores will take them…it probably depends on the store. My FL will take the money off one from HT but I've never tried anything else. In fact, I didn't really even “try” that one…I was in line and the girl saw my HT catalina and told me she would take it, I said it was from another store and she said,,,,”It will still scan”, so that's how I stumpled on the fact that they would take it.)

Vitamin Water in my HT store in VA is $1/1, so using the $1/2 make 2 FREE! Also, the same with the Yoplait Yoplus 4 pack $2/4, $1/1 bricks IP when you refer a “friend” on their website, so FREE yogurt!

    • Melanie

Sure for Women just arrived at my Harris Teeter in St. Simons Island, GA, this week at $2.89. I had $1 coupon doubled made it $.89, ON THE DEODARANT had a sticket that referenced…”trysurefree.com”. I printed out the form on the website and will receive $2.89 as a rebaite. Can't beat the savings!

    • jennifermcgrathbutler

did my 1st run of super dbls yesterday. met a fellow couponer who seems to love southern savers as much as i!!!

    • Misty

About to do my 2nd HT run this week. I did find out they will not take another store's manufacturer q. For instance if you have a Kroger mailer q that says manufacturer, they still won't take it unless it's $ off the total amount. They also will not accept the B1G1 for any items that are already B2G3. I am friends with our store's manager and they keep me updated on policy changes. Happy couponing!

    • RitaandSweetie

My HT in VA seems to have decided not to restock the shelves…so all the good coupon opportunities are not in stock. I go in every day to see if there is ANYTHING I can get with my high value coupons and NOTHING!

      • Bif

It's probably not intentional. That's because the people ordering this stuff, don't use coupons. They just don't plan ahead, once they sell out, it's difficult to get it back in because every store is also ordering more of the same products.
Believe me, the dept. managers would rather have it in stock to make their numbers look good.
They don't care if HT is basically breaking even on a certain product. They still show a $2 sale for a $2 product regardless of coupons.
Plus, I know the stores in my area have swarms of women who gather every morning on SD and triples weeks… they clean the place out. The cashiers have told me they are like mobs!

    • RitaandSweetie

How frequently does HT do the Super Doubles? Once per quarter, twice a year?

      THX

      • Bif

For a while it seemed like they were doing Super double almost every month and triples too. Now it seems sporadic. I bet they want to keep people guessing so you keep checking the website or stores.
Once you check, they usually have you hooked with their “loss leader” specials, so it's smart of them to keep us wondering.

      • Crista

As others have said there is no set pattern. To me (who has only been couponing since Feb of '09) It seems they do it much more frequently in the summer months. Over the “school year” it seemed they would never roll around again, but over last summer it seemed that every other week there was super doubles or triples. If this month is any indication (super doubles this week and triples week before last) they may be starting to do them more regularly again (I HOPE!). Time will tell!!!!!!!

    • Bif

First I want to say thank you to Jenny for the excellent matchups and links. This website is the only really good coupon forum that my employer has not blocked and I am grateful to find you.

But I was wondering if anyone else had a problem with the Wholly Guacamole coupon. It would not scan for my cashier. He called for help and the customer service woman sort of ticked me off when she said “I don't take copied coupons”… now that is an accusation.

I've had attitude from her before, but that really bothered me. Is that a legit website? It looks real enough.

      Thanks again.
