Harris Teeter just added an evic for the Betty Crocker Cake mix which is on sale for 1.29 minus .75 off two evic minus the .85 off two from betty’s website making them .13 a piece.

      • bthomas

BC cake mix wasn’t on VIC at my HT, but I was still able to get two boxes for under $1. Not bad! Thank you for sharing :)

        • Cookingmama

If you use Savings Star they just added .75 off two as well. So actually it could be a money maker.

          • bthomas

I didn’t see the Savings Star until after my transaction, but that’s okay :) Thanks again!

            • susan s

If u have saving star&like us just click on select all which savings star wont limit u,then u dont have to remember, weather u remeber or not,u get paid for it.

        • susan s

Not vic, evic, there is a difference, ask them to tell u how to sign up for evic. U do need a vic card b4u can sign up to also be an evic member. U need to sign up trough ur email. Eg we got an e vic deal for a gallon of ht milk for $2,57&soy milk50cents a half gallon. At the store they werent eve on vic deals&were $4-5,but cause scanner showed our vic number was also on evic we only paid the evic price, not the stores price.

          • bthomas

Thank you susan s, but I do know the difference between VIC and eVIC. Been couponing for quite some time at HT. The cake mix was not on VIC, meaning it was not on sale. I’m also aware of how to use Saving Star…if you read my post clearly, I stated that I did not see it on the list until after my transaction. It was added before I updated the app. I’m sure you’re trying to be helpful, but you should not assume that everyone on SS is brand new.

            • susan s

Sorry,my appologies,i do not assume everyone is new,but i actually know a lot of ppl who think vic is the same as evic, didnt want this to happen to u “incase” u were one of them. Also when we went to get our evic milks they also were not on vic,aka on sale, the full price showed, cashier told us since our vic card is linked to our evic even though its not on sale for general public&not on vic sale it is on evic sale &because were evic members the discount will come of our milks once it scanned&she showed us where the milk scanned cheaper for us even though it was not on vic aka on sale. Still i appologize for any pain i may have caused, that was not my intensions,i just felt bad for the ppl i know think vic&evic r the same&r surprised their vic card alone wont give them a evic discount. I appologize&will try to choose my words more carefully.

            • bthomas

Hi susan s…no pain caused. Thank you for explaining what you meant; I misunderstood your reply, and that was my fault. I do use eVIC specials and they are great, along with weekend deals. HT is my favorite store! I hope you had much success during super doubles.

    • Cookingmama

anyone else notice coupons.com only allowing one print per coupon now. I just printed several only once and it told me that I’ve reached my print limit with all of them

    • feelthe couponrush

Two things the BIC razor coupon wont double. It says it on the coupon and store in Florence had Hormel REV sandwiches clearance BOGO at 1.98. $1.00 off coupon makes them free.

      • Barbara Solomon

I looked and looked on mine and didn’t see DND. Finally, I put on my glasses and it was there in the very small print.

      • natalie

BIC coupons NEVER double… but every site always lists them on super doubles. I dont ever bother with them anyways…. very cheap razors- they burn.

The customer service department has always doubled ours manually, for some reason scanners wont double bic,but customer service&managers will.

    • amw_2005

I am finding a lot of these coupons are no longer available. Please don’t post without the research!

      • Stephanie Willis

she is posting all possible coupons, as some people have already printed these. Not everyone waits till the last minute to print. She has obviously done her research if she is showing qs that are no longer available.

        • Rebekah

Amen! So is this a new thing that this store is doing or is this just for this week? Meaning the super doubles? If its normal now then I will be trying to locate a Harris Teeter around here!

          • susan s

They do it for one wk every month for 8 of12mos,2of12mos they tripple coupons up to 99cents&they often have buy2,get3free deals&great evic&sat only deals. This will continue until kroegers buy out of these stores is completed, then all of this incl. Doubling any coupon for any amount will stop.

        • Julie

yes, I already printed mine.I refill my own toner and get cheap paper deals so no worry to print extras.

      • Kelly

I also have hit many links that she doesn’t say are no longer available and when you get to it, it says the coupon program ended or no longer available. And I highly doubt that all these coupons just ended, new month or not. It is very frustrating to keep taking the time to click on her links and look for the coupon only to find it’s not there. This happens a lot unfortunately. I use another site and noticed that the other site won’t have the coupon links up and so I think that Southernsavers may have a new link but it always turns out that they don’t work.

        • Jennifer L

I understand the frustration and use a couple of sites when Harris Tetter has the coupon events but this site is by far the best one. She has a list for every major store. This is also a guideline not a absolute. Did you consider how much time it would take to find each of these coupons on your own? Way more time than I have. I hope you find some ways to relax this year because getting “very frustrated” over some coupons must be stressful. Have a happy New Year!

          • Kelly

Blah blah. Like it’s been said many many times, Jenny gets paid to have this site, this site is her job. Jennifer L, I hope you have a happy New Year too! Come back when you have something nice to say and are not as sarcastic.

            • Jennifer L

Thank you so much for the New Years wish. I believe I was nice. You however came off a bit snarky. Constructive criticism should always be welcomed on a site like this but whining and complaning have no benifit for anyone. Maybe you should take your own advice about something nice to say. I know one’s own medicine often taste bitter but maybe chase it down with a nice cup of tea. Have a wonderful day!

            • Madi

If you don’t like what people have to say, by all means don’t read the comments. People are entitled to express their opinions whether you like the way they are worded or not and whether you like their context or not.

            • Jennifer L

I was just expressing my opinions as well. The only difference is that I did it with some humor and not so much negativity.Just trying to change up things a bit. Did not mean to cause an uproar. Afterall people are entitled to express their opinions whether or not uou like the way they are worded or not and whether you like their context or not. I still hope you have a wonderful day!

          • susan s

More time then i have too&im on disability,so i have more time then most, but i have a fam to take care of,so does everyone, still dont have the time&wouldnt know where to start&would really love to just talk about coupons which with only looking at2of these sites is a full time job with just the printing, cutting organizing, its more of a fam job,but there is only2humans in our fam.

        • susan s

Some do end cause of new month&others end cause 2000of them have already been printed by others&we try to print that items 2001coupon when there was only2000available,some sites incl jenny will sometimes tell u that popular printed coupons just came out,so if u,the general u wait till tomarow chances r u(the general u) r too late cause2000coupons have already been printed, the early bird catches the worm, both in coupons&in stuff at the store. We went last night, the orchard&diet pepsi were no longer on shelfs.my fault for not being an early bird

      • Natalie

Do your own matchups then!!!! How dare you criticize someone that is doing a free service for you?!

        • Emilee Phillips

The remark should be helpful to Jenny. Jenny wants as many hits as she can get on this website as she is being compensated by manufacturers and others in ways you are unaware of. If the people that use her website are no longer happy with the site they will stop using as many people I know have. Smart businesses love customer feedback..it keeps them in business..your remark is emotional and juvenile..this is Jenny’s business and I’m sure she welcomes customer input positive or negative.I love any comments from my customers as it makes me work harder and smarter to do a better job, I’m not there just to be complimented and petted, I’m there to serve the people that use my services..

          • Bre

Emilee…It’s just the way she said it. You can have your opinion with out being rude compensation or not. She has plenty of people that can point out fault without being malicious.

            • Strfri

The original comment didn’t seem rude, especially compared to the scolding comments. It’s not crazy to expect someone to do a good job, free or not. The blogger chose to do this, and I feel like she takes on more than she can handle. The lists are often inaccurate, coupons in the matchup not actually for the products listed, and often no longer available (and not notated as such).

She has a link to report such issues, but it takes soooo long for reports to get acknowledged (took 2 weeks for me, wayyy after the sale was over). So it even makes it difficult to contribute and help her out. I agree she should be double checking the links before she posts them.

And don’t think she finds all these links on her own! Almost no one does. If you use savings forums, this type of inaccuracy is frowned upon, and everyone works together as a team to keep things up to date.

            • susan s

Coupons r available when first posted. I dont have a computer,so i email them to myself on my ph so when i have a chance to use our business centers computer the coupons i want r still available to me since i saved them the min i found about it. The really popular ones get printed the fastest esp on last day of month&first day of month. Many coupons will not be avail from one month to next&esp not from one yr to next. We r always told about this chance&to print the last day of month cause certain coupons may not be avail after the first of nxt month&to print first of month cause only 2000of same coupons r available&there r a lot of ppl who will print2of those coupons per computer making those 2000coupons get printed fast, making them then to no longer be available. I for one am very glad “i” dont have to pay for this great service like my mother would have had to pay for this kind of service had she be into couponing, but i can also understand the frustration when first starting&not getting what u were exited to get. So could we maybe keep the topic on coupons&not ppl pls.&thank u

            • Strfri

No, they are not always available when first posted. And people are aware of popular coupons being nla quickly. Some posts, the same nla coupons are reposted. Also, emailing yourself the link doesn’t save it for you if the prints run out. If you were able to print it, that means it was still available.

          • natalie

My remark is emotional and juvenile?! How about hers?!
I”m sorry… I agree with having an opinion… but to sit there and criticize telling her that she should do her research is an insult.

            • KTB

Calm down. I think that your response above just used a few too many exclamation points

      • ctrinkle

I think quite a few ended on 12/31 with the end of the year because I printed coupons yesterday that weren’t available today.

      • Bre

Gee That’s not very nice amw_2005 this person is nice enough to post all these good deals for the us…..you could very well do your own research next time if it is such a huge problem for you!!!

      • Brian

Several of the sites I use had the same bad coupons. This makes it very discouraging for those newer to couponing. Yes it would help if they checked the coupons before posting, but she has a section to report bad coupons or links. I use it often on all the sites. If more of us did this we would be helping ourselves. Please read the comments before you try and print as you will find this could help solve this. The negative comments Do Not Help. They defeat the purpose of this and other sites. I hope Jenny agrees with me. Please list the bad links in the comments. It will help all of us.

      • Julie

I am glad all links are posted even if the coupon does not work any longer. Sometimes the coupons are gone but I have it printed and it reminds me to look for it. I print coupons so if a deal come up I already have it. HTH

It probably was available when research was done&even when first posted. Thats when a lot of ppl start printing&after about 2000of that items coupons r printed they r no longer available,we just plan on printing them earlier nxt time when it happens to us&chuck it off to a life lesson well leaarned.

There is a tear pad for Godiva coffee at my store… but there’s no Godiva coffee actually sold??? (It’s in front of the gevalia coffee) Harris teeter in Charleston

    • SaraJ

I just had 7 of 9 printed coupons not scan. Luckily the manager did an override for me. The coupons were printed from varied but trusted sources. Is this possibly a printer problem, and if so how do I check it? Or was it just bad luck, I’ve never had so many not scan and I felt a bit embarrassed.

      • Barbara Solomon

It might be their scanner gun. At my store, there is a scanner gun that totally stinks. From time to time, they have to reset the gun so that it picks up the coupons. If your prints look good and are not smeared, chances are, it’s the scanner gun at the store. Go in a different lane next time.

        • susan s

Could be the coupons, the bic razor coupons never double so at our store customer service overides it,may be the same w scannin, read that bic doesnt double in different state either even though it should&does not say do not double

    • CarmenSmile

The 7th generation baby wipes coupon – $1 off – is no longer available.

      • I will update the list. Thanks!

    • Brian

The 1.00 off 2 mars valentine works on the fun bars that are .99 making them free also for you that don’t mind fudging the 2.00 men’s

Dove works on the 2-pack on sale for 3.pp = free. This is the way the comment should be.

      • susan s

        Thank you

    • KtQpon

I am very confused on something. The Secret clinical deodorant (I think on a different list- my apologies) has a coupon in the P&G for $2. The price on the website says it is $5.00. With the coupon doubling, it will reduce the total to $1.99. However there is an EVIC coupon for $2 off. Will these two things stack, making this item free??

      • twoawilkes

        yes they work together

      • susan s

Yes,some hts will even put that extra penny towards the rest of ur grocerys

    • Paul B.

Just curious what everyone else thinks: it seems like I am having to print more coupons than I actually cut out from inserts. An example is on my list for Super Doubles at HT this week, I would say I ended up printing 90% of the coupons I used.

If this is the on going trend, maybe I should stop buying newspapers.
Are guys seeing the same things?

      • Oh it definitely seems that way with me too. Most of my coupons are printables as well. All I know is that if we don’t buy inserts one week, that will be the one week that has the BEST coupons. LoL!

      • mindy

all my coupons are printed. I don’t bother to buy sunday paper anymore. Better coupons tend to be the printable ones

      • Paul B.

What’s funny is I bought two extra papers today b/c of the 5 inserts today. In one paper I got 5 of the same SS insert plus the others. That was AWESOME.

        • Kelly

          That is awesome! Lucky you!

      • susan s

Most of the time u r right, but sometimes they have good ones in the paper like pepsi coupons today r supposed to make a 8pk of pepsi 75cents. I think there were supposed to be2in them, but they must be regional&the silk coupon from today will make eggnog free. We do buy the paper for these moments, but our neighboer is a carrier,he gives us papers&we give him&fam some of our free stuff.oh if u lived in texas todays paper was great,135pages of coupons. I would love to buy those pages from someone in texas who would just toss it anyway.

    • Deanna

I found a money maker at Harris Teeter. They have Starkiss tuna select on sale for 2/4 and I purchased 1 Starkiss tuna in can for 1.00 I used (2) 1 dollar off coupons for the tuna select and Saving Star will give you 2.00 for purchasing 1 Tuna select and 1 can tuna. Paid $1.00 and received $2.00 back.. Excited!!!!

      • maehingo

Went to Florence Harris Teeter on Saturday. Almost every item that we had a coupon for had an empty shelf. Might rethink wasting time at Harris Teeter. We left without buying anything. If more people would boycott the businesses that are operated this way maybe they might change the way they allow the shelves go empty until the sale is over.

      • FindanotherHT

I’ve never had any luck there at the Florence store. I have to TRAVEL to get there and then there is nothing in stock. I use another HT that is just as close but in a smaller “town” and I LOVE IT!!!

The early bird gets the worm. Were going last2days so we will probably run in to same problem, but its our fault,we should have gone earlier. Ht is the only store that has events that doubles up to$2&tripples. We usually get 3mos worth of grocerys&baking needs for free from ht&sometimes also3mos of snacks&we get rainchecks for items that have cleared shelfs. We have learned to take backup coupons incase our first choices r out of stock&we buy some coupons of ebay. Ht makes substitutions. My kid needs loundry detergent that says free,ht had sales for all&all free, were out&let us have all the discounts incl alls evic discount on tide free. Im diabetic,so let me have sugar free pie for sale price of other pies. We only had starter checks once,ht does not except starter checks, but held our food for when we could come with cash, many coupons making things free exp by then but they excepted&doubled or trippled our exp coupons still making the items free. If u talk to them they will make it worth ur time. No other store has superdoubles or tripples making a lot free&no other store accepts exp coupons or substitudes or doubles coupons as high as 99cents daily without minimum purchase requirement. Sign up for a vic card AND for evic&u will save even more even on regular days, just try to come early or have a plan b. We know a lady buys all the charlotte observers every sun at 8am,we cant make it that early,so ht customer service holds2copys for us when we want them too,we let them know this on sat.

    • maehingo

The laughing cow cheese wedges are on sale for 1.99. There was a tearpad at my Publix with $1/2 coupon… yeepee for cheap yummie cheese!

    • susan s

I didnt get any of the $2off pepsi coupons or any pepsi coupons in yesterdays paper. Was that regional? Or maybe just in certain types of paper like maybe the charlotte observer.

      • Gemma J

I got them in the Aberdeen Pilot which is a really small NC paper…

    • susan s

Oops meant to add a ?

    • Jessica

Does any1 know if we can combine cellfire, saving star, mfg coupon and HT’s ecoupon all together? I know mfg coupon, HT’s, and Saving Star can go together but I am not sure if we can add cellfire too??

    • TLC

Harris Teeter doubles up to .99 correct? So on a lot of these items it shows $1 coupons being doubled?? How is that?

    • TLC

Also a lot of the items that say they have E Vic Coupons for it, I do not find on my E Coupons?? Any reason why?
