Just got my May issue of All You, thought there might be coupons I could use for SD but it’s another issue where the coupons are disappointing. There is a $.50 Luzianne Tea coupon. They have coupons for Stouffers Multi-Serve $1.50 and Michael Angelo’s 20oz. $1.50 but I don’t buy these much when the weather gets warm. Comet Stainless Cleaner and Dole Fruit Jars but there seem to be an over abundance of these coupons out lately.

      • Cheryl

I love the Dole Fruit Jars!! Wish I had a couple.

      • Lauram7

You know, I subscribed hoping to get all these awesome coupons from “All You” but most of them are lame. I agree with you.

        • Anita59

I’d be inteested in trading you for 2 coupons from your May All you mag.On  pg71- Stouffer’s $1.50  and on pg 102-Ortega $1/2
If interted email me anita59@embarqmail.com  Thanks

      • Anita59

I’ll be glad to trade you for your Stouffer’s coupon on page 71, and Ortega $1/2 on page 102…if you aren’t going to use them.If inerested email me anita5@embarqmail.com    thanks

    • Mljnc13

there is a $1 off on natural bliss facebook page.

      • amy

Thanks!! this will go great with the Starbucks coffee e-vic deal and coupon.

    • Merri

Do the coupons with the funny barcode double? For example, the emerald nuts $1.50/2 has the funny barcode.

      • Ljbtrfly

yes they should. the barcode is printed above the barcode

    • Marycansave

Hmm this list doesn’t seem that much fun… or is it just me?

    • Gastonia HT shopper

My 75 cent off Vlasic pickles coupon says Do not Double and although it has a 5 as the first digit of the bar code, most HT’s around my area will not double, so this deal won’t be free.

      • guest

I used 2 of those coupons today & they doubled.

        • Littlerubyslipper

          Mine doubled…

      • Mywolfcubs3

        Mine doubled today too.

      • MissKirk

Mine did not double.  They check every single coupon to make sure it doesn’t have a do not double.  All of the cashiers do

      • Stephanie

They manually overrode mine to take away the double…

    • Heatherqpons

i have a 1.50 off frescheita oven pizza but it says do not double….does this mean it wont super double?

      • this means it cannot be doubled.

      • Liz P.

Majority of $1 and $1.50 coupons say DND, but the manager of the Harris Teeter by me said they double $1 and up coupons (up to $1.98) whether it says DND or not.  Hope this helps!

      • amb

if it starts with a 5 it will even if it says dnd, but the store has the right to reduce it to regulr value

    • Francesca

Pretty disappointed with the ads this time around!

    • Liz

FYI, the playtex deal gets better… if you buy 2 playtex products, you can get a free cosmetic bag by filling out a form here: http://www.playtexpromo.com/order_form.pdf

    • Lauram7

I just got back and spent $20 for $65 worth of groceries. $6 of that was
two packs of Starbucks. There is a BOGO free Oceanspray coupon out there, and the store has BOGO Oceanspray this week. That means $1.10 for each jug.

      • Anita59

My .H. T. will not except B1G1F printabes .I’m using the $1/2 on my next visit.

      • Brian22155

        My H.T. Won’t take internet b1g1

    • CrimsonLovesYou

Hey just got back! I spent $14 and saved $40!! FYI though: The Sbux coupons and Smart Balance ones DO NOT double. Its printed in the fine print of the coupon sadly. But you get a FREE SB spreadable butter when you buy a SB milk! Also the Tampax Pearl and Krave cereals are no longer on sale for those deals.

      • paravel43

My smart balance doubled. I got a half gallon for .99.

      • Guest

        My Sbux doubled today.

      • Guest

My Smart Balance doubled. Did three transactions, got the 3 milk for $.99 and 3 free butters.

        • CrimsonLovesYou

Well they aren’t supposed to. Some stores catch it and some don’t but it was there on the Qs do not double. Just sucks for some of us I guess.

          • snowdogmom

I know the coupon says DND and you would think they would know that by now that they say that  but the 2 stores I go to don’t seem to care they consistently take them and double them.

            • CrimsonLovesYou

So very lucky Im gonna try another HT next time during SD and see. :)

        • Anita59

I bought 3 smart Bal. milks and only got one free smart Bal. spread. They said limit one per family. Oh well, I’m thankful for the one I did get!

          • Guest

It was one per transaction not family/vic. That’s why I split it into 3 transactions.

        • Guest

I did 3 transactions today because my Smart Balance Milk coupons were expiring today. I left about 6 smart balance spread $1 coupons in the store with the SB Spread so others hopefully will use them, they also expire today. Also left 4 2000 flushes coupons, I don’t use it anymore,  but as I walked down the aisle one lady saw them and took them all.

      • dalbs16

Some of the SB Milk coupons do not say do not double and some do.  I actually check all of those coupons now carefully and try and save the doubling ones for SD.  I did get only 1 butter b/c that is what they told me, but was completely happy with my milk deal :)

    • Mywolfcubs3

Thanks Jenny for all your work! Got $121 for 7.54! Had a few coupons that I got in the mail for free items.

      •  Hey there,
        Thanks for the encouragement!

    • Sharon

Just got back from HT.  Was not that impressed.  Maybe I did not have the “best” coupons or something.  Lowes Foods was even worse.  I bought just 2 things with all the coupons I had.  Happy for those who did well :-).

      • DIV14

Same here so disappointed lowes was horrible

    • luv2save

Has anyone been to the Cary stores?  I m going tonight and wondering if all the shelves are cleared already.  It seems like a relatively “quiet” SD week online, so hoping people really didn’t go out so there’s some stuff left tonight!

      • Candikane02

i’ve been to the one at high house and hwy 55 but it was early this morning around 8am. no one was in there, so it may still be stocked well.

      • trianglemom

I pretty much had the HT and LF on High House to myself at 11 am and nothing was OOS.

      • Lauram7

Yes, I’ve been to the Cary stores. The Starbucks is flying off the shelves and the Alexia sweet potatoes were wiped out later in the day. The Breakfast on the Go still was around, but getting low in two stores.

      • luv2save

Thanks everyone!  I went to the HT in Cary Towne Center today around 5 and it was still pretty well stocked! I am going to post my finds in a new posting now.

    • nora

What happens if you use a coupon for $3.00 on an item that costs $2.50? Will it go through or beep or what?

      • luv2save

I believe it HT when I had a situation like that the cashier had to adjust the value of the q to be the price it was on sale for.  I don’t think u get overage at HT, its been a while though.

      • Guest

HT doesn’t normally give overages. Sometimes the system will adjust the doubled value of the coupon down accordingly to match the price of the product without any intervention or the cashier will manually adjust it if it beeps when scanned. Having said this I have had lately where I did get the overage. The coupons scanned and doubled or tripled without any intervention from the cashier. This happened to me during the last Triple coupon event. I did buy items where I didn’t have coupons so maybe if your total purchase is more than the total value of all coupons it gives you the doubled/tripled amount or more likely their system has some glitches that allow this under certain circumstances. So I’d say don’t count on any overage but be happy if it happens.

        • nora

thanks for the info. i didn’t think it gave me an overage, but i didn’t want to cause a huge scene at the register for using a coupon over the amount of the item. i hate when they have to get a manager override.

        • luv2save

I think if it doubles and you get overage that way it doesn’t ding. The only time I had to have a manager come adjust price was when the coupon value say $3 without doubling or tripping was more than the value of the item, say it was 2.50 – then coupon had to be adjusted to price.

    • Guest

The clorox green works multipurpose spray had a $.75 peelie on the bottle in my HT. They had like 10 bottles on the shelf and only 3 had the peelie’s left on them. It’s unfortunate that people take the peelies off the products and don’t buy the product. Not nice for those of us that actually want to buy the product and should get the coupon to use.

    • Jlaleonard

Scrubbing Bubbles was only .50 today after $1 mf!

    • luv2save

So as underwhelmed as I was about HT SD this time around, I must admit I still had a good trip and will go back tomorrow!  We live about 30 mins from an HT but I had a business dinner right by one in Cary, so I ran in for only abt 40 mins.  I didn’t have enough time to “think” about my purchases as I would have liked, but the store was much more prepared and stocked than other stores I have been too.  We don’t eat a lot of packaged foods, but I was able to get some good deals still – Here’s what I got:

2 Smart Bal Milks (and one free SB butter) .99/ each with 1.50q
      8 Lara Bars 2 for $3, used the $1 off 4 IP
      2 Dawn Detergents, used a.50 and .25 q, plus had a .25 ZVR = FREE
1 Febreeze Spray, sale for 2.99 then $1q and .50ZVR
      2 Cascade Packs, Sale for 5.99, then $1q and a .25 ZVR
2 Downy Unstoppables, Sale for 5.99, then $1q and .50 ZVR
      2 2000 Flushes BOGO at 4.15, then 2 .55qs
1 Carpet Fresh Sale for 1.69, then $1q = FREE
1 Vlasic Stackers Sales for 1.64 and .75q (these weren’t marked, looks like a lot of ppl were getting relish bc it was 1.99, but the Stackers must be BOGO or something, was surprised to see this.  We don’t eat enough relish to buy a huge jar, so was willing to pay more for this actually)

      1 Airwick Compact Odor Detector – Reg 9.99, Clearance 4.99, $2q
1 Airwick Freshmatic Refill Sale for 5.29 and $1.50q
K-Cups – not on sale, .75q – just really needed some more!
Marzetti Dressing – not on sale, .75q  – needed
      2 Alexia Sweet Potato Fries – 2/$6 and 2 $1qs
2 ICBINB Bonus Size 4.38 for two and then 2 1.25qs
2 Coffee Mate Natural Bliss Sales for 2.19 each and $1q from FB
1 Optifree Lens Solution, Sales for 7.99 and $1.50q
      1 Neosporin, sale for 3.99 and $1q
      1 Band-Aid Flex , sales for 2.50 and $1q
HT Sour Cream – needed for a cake :)

Also – just noticed I was charged for me SB butter that should have been free, will have to show customer service tomorrow.

Total before Coupons, Vic Card and ZVRS – 182.25

Total after (and with about $11 in CVS ECB)  = 44.75!!!  (this includes the butter that should have been free too!!!)

I also received 2 $1 off Lactaid coupons and $1.50 off Maries dressing from the machine.

      Hope this helps someone else!

      • Guest

You and I were both underwhelmed by the SD sale and yet you spent 182.25 and I spent 113.96 before cpns and savings and we both plan another trip. I wonder what we’d do if were excited about the sale LOL?

        • luv2save

I know!  I am learning to not really complain to much about the match ups that are posted before the sales starts. I usually and happy with my trips every time these days!

      • Peanutbutter3234

I noticed you only get 1 free Smart balance Butter per transaction no matter how many Smart Balance milks you buy. Hope that helps.

        • guest

I got charged for my SB butter also…

          • luv2save

I bought the wrong kind, tag didn’t really specify and my cashier said any should be ok.  It’s a certain kind, they were all sold out this morning at my store though, so got an RC for it :)

        • luv2save

Yeah I only tried to get one free but I figured out the problem today – there is a only a certain SB butter that will ring up free.  The cashier didn’t know that yesterday, said any should work, and I didn’t check till I got home.  I grabbed the wrong one

      • lidsmom

we can use cvs ecb ? is this every store if the answer is yes:)

        • luv2save

Its based on your store, ask Customer Service before check out.  Many stores consider drug store as competitors so they will take RA UPS, WAGS RR and CVS ECB.   Most of the stores in the triangle I have been to will take them.  I think there MAY be a limit to how many you can use at once, not sure.  But I use them at HT whenever they are about to expire OR there is just nothing I really want/need on sales in the drug stores

    • Sareana

Hi, I wanted to share my trip to HT today!  I know not everyone was excited about the deals, but I saw quite a few things that my family could use.  I used my 20 coupons for today and will go back tomorrow.  My store in Delaware is in a resort area, so our prices tend to be 0.20 to 0.30 higher than the typical advertised prices.  Here is a rundown of my day…

3 Quaker Chewy Yogurt Granola Bars, $2.79 each, used 3 $1.00 Qs
6 packs of Ivory soap (3 bars per package), 1.55 each, used 3 $1.00/2, 0.35 ZVR
      2 Lance cracker creations, $2.50 each, used 2 $1 Q
Feline Pine Cat Litter, $5.99, used  $2.00 Q
2 Neutrogena Hand Creme, $1.50, used 2 $1Q, made them both free
      2 Alexia frozen rolls, $3.00 each, used 2 $1 Q, made them 1.00 each
      2 Country Crock Spreads, $2.29 each, used 2 $1 Q, made them .29 each
2 ICBINB spreads, 2.49 each, used 2 $1.25 Q, made them both free
      2 36ct. TUMS, 2.69 each, used 2 $1.00 q, made them 0.69 each
      1 TUMS freshers, 4.99 (not on sale), used 1 $1.50 q, 1.50 ZVR, made them 0.49
Thanks to everyone for posting your finds! It sure helps me when planning my trip and I hope this will give someone else an idea or two!

I am not impressed with either store. Neither one had alot on sale that matched with the coupons.  I didn’t even use my limit of 20 coupons at either store.  I can get more free and better deals when they are running their better sales on a regular .99 cent and below week.  I couldnt believe alot of stuff was sold out that I have seen way better prices on diff weeks.  I am thankful for the few great deals i got. But I was very unimpressed with the sales,

The Vlastic pickles are not marked the correct sales price in the Charlotte store I visited yesterday…

Does anyone from Norfolk, Va know if the shelves are well stocked or did the early couponers get there already. I know i need coffee and always….. Thanks for any info?

      • Courtney

Don’t know if this is any help but I was at the Williamsburg store late yesterday afternoon. Everything was still nearly fully stocked and the store wasn’t even busy. Maybe it’s been the same in Norfolk.

      • Melissa

Newport news store was good as well. Our area gets a truck in almost every night so go in the morning (: I’m in the navy and go before work sometimes.

Can anyone tell me where the Emerald Breakfast Mix is located in the store? I couldn’t find them, they may be sold out.

      • couponmomof5

It is located in the cereal isle. At my store they were near the cereal bars. Good luck!  Don’t forget to get a raincheck if they are out.

Day 2 – Total before all discounts $65.61, $7.91 oop. Includes using a second $10 off $50 recycle bank coupon. Yesterday and today they scanned the recycle bank coupon before the other coupons otherwise I wouldn’t have had the $50 required. Sometimes they let it go and sometimes they make you have $50 after coupons. I was lucky this week.

They restocked the Always pads they didn’t have yesterday.
      1 Always $3.99 – $1 – $1 ZVR = $.99
      1 Always $3.99 -$1 = $1.99
      1 Band-Aid with Quiltvent 80 assorted sale $2.50 – $1 = $.50 (didn’t know this was on sale, regular price $3.29)
      1 Band-Aid with Quiltvent 60 assorted $2.99 – $1 = $.99
      1 Alexia Sweet Potato Puffs $3 – $1 = $1
      1 Alexia Waffle Fries $3 – $1 = $1
      2 Pagoda Egg Rolls $3.99 – $1 = $1.99 each
      1 ICBNB $2.35 – $1.25 = Free
      2 X-14 $2.09 each – $.55 (I didn’t have the $1 cpns) = $.99 each
      1 Nivea Hand Cream $3.99 – $1 = $1.99
      1 Neutrogena Hand Cream $4.99 – $1.50 = $1.99
      2 Nivea Lip Balms, raincheck 2/$3 – 2/$1 = Free
      1 Glade Expressions starter kit $4.49 – $1 = $2.49
Free Glade Expressions refill wyb starter kit refill price was $3.49, coupon scanned and it took off $3.99 the max value the coupon said was allowed. The cashier commented about it and let it go. $.50 profit

      • Rebecca

Just curious about which coupon you used on the Nivea Lip Care.  I have a rain check for that as well.  Thanks!

        • Guest

Sorry, I’m not sure since I don’t have the coupons anymore. They were internet printed coupons probably from coupons com but if that was the source it’s not there anymore.

      • where did u find the Nivea lip Q?…I also have a RC:)

      • Jeaninsatel

        What is ICBNB?

        • Guest

It’s I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. I inadvertently dropped an I from the abbreviation. Should have been ICBINB.

      • luv2save

Was your q for the free glade expressions refill a printable q?  My HT never lets me use an ip that is for a free item.  Happened to me yesterday with the POMO Juice B2G1 free ip.  Trying to figure out bc I want to try this deal too!

        • Guest

Yes the q for the free refill was an ip. It’s not like it’s a coupon for a free item without having to buy something else. The normally take ones where you have to purchase something to get the free item. Having said that. I have 2 HT’s each about 2 miles from me. I tried to use the coupon at one the first day of SD’s and the cashier wouldn’t take it so I told them to void the starter kit and the refill and give me back my coupons. I then went to the other HT the second day of SD and asked before she rung up my order if she would take and she said “Sure I don’t see why not” and I had no problem using it. This location is my regular store and they are pretty liberal and accommodating. The other is normally okay but can depend on the cashier you get. At 1st store they wouldn’t take my CVS ECB’s without calling a manager to check if they could take them and I said never mind. The second store took the ECB’s with no problem and the cashier even said to me she just had another lady use them and asked me how I had earned them. Sometimes you never know and the answer changes depending on who you ask. Good Luck, worth a try. If you can’t do it at HT I already did it once at Target. The starter kit is $3.99 at Target and I had a $1.50 off mfg. coupon and I think I had $1 off Target coupon and then the free refill coupon, I think the refills are $2.99 at Target. I did it a couple weeks ago so I think I’m remembering correctly.

      • Wowformisty

Ty. The bandaids were a great find. I got 3 today, thanks to you.

    • Courtney

Sorry if this has been mentioned already but the McCain Purely Potatoes were on sale at my store for $2.69. I had a $1 coupon from the paper (sorry, don’t know what week it’s from) and you get a $1 credit from Savingstar. So it’s a .31 money maker. :)

      • Courtney

oh and I they use to have a coupon to print on their facebook page, maybe it’s still there

    • KK

Check the register aisle end caps for the smaller tums fresheners. I was about to get the bigger pack then swapped when I saw them at register!

Newman’s Own has a great coupon on the product.  So if you are lucky enough to have its a great savings on dressing or salsa.  $1 off coupon (doubled this week) meant $1.17 dressing.

    • Britta

Oh, Harris Teeter, how I love thee. Let me count the savings.

    • Britta

I had a $1 off of Gud products from a sample and $1 ZVR. That made the hand wash $.74. I am sorry I don’t remember which paper the $1 Maxwell House came out in, but the single serves are $2.34. There are only 5 sticks in it, but they are yummy for $.34.

      • Jenn

I did the same thing with the Gud hand wash, and then the ZVR reloaded!  They have a $1 coupon on their facebook page, so go back and get one more!!!

        • Britta

          Thank you very much. Yay!

Has anyone had any luck in actually getting credit at HT for saved P&G eSaver ecoupons? I know you cannot stack paper coupons with the P&G eSaver ecoupons but I purchased one item that I had a P&G eSaver ecoupon saved for, did not use a paper coupon, and it did not credit. HT claims they can do nothing, they can only correct their evic ecoupons and P&G says they cannot help if it doesn’t credit at checkout. I think the P&G eSavers are a waste of time saving to your card they don’t work.

      • guest

I just read the P&G esavers FAQ page and it says that if the coupon does not credit then you should contact P&G.  I would remind them that it is on their own website and they should credit you.

        • Guest

I did contact them. I called them and then they sent me an email requesting specifics, I replied. Heard nothing, emailed them again. Never got a response. Have you had it actually work?

          • guest

No, I haven’t actually used any e-savers yet.  I was reading the FAQ page because I was interested in how it works.  It sounds like bad customer service and very disappointing coming from P&G.  I know I would keep calling them and emailing them until they fix it.  To me it doesn’t matter if it’s 1 penny or $1000, it’s the principle.

      •  The PG esaver coupons and the EVIC coupons are the same – so you can’t get an esaver AND an evic coupon.  It is just 2 locations to load them.

        • Guest

I understand that PG esaver and EVIC are both ecoupons and are separate. I have my evics loaded and my PG Esavers loaded. The item I purchased only had a PG esaver saved, no evic, but it did not come off at checkout. I did it a second time with a different item and same thing the esaver never came off. It’s not working for me. I haven’t seen where anyone else has said it has worked for them with Harris Teeter. I think something’s wrong but PG is absolutely no help so I guess I just won’t bother saving anything to my esaver account any more since I never get credit for anything. Waste of time.

          • guest

I have the same problem.  On the PG esaver website it always says they are loading to my evic card but they never actually load.

    • Caramelangel1015

If anyone in the Raleigh or Durham area has the $1/1 gain q’s I would like to trade. I have pretty much every other kind (pet food, hair care, bathroom tissue, cleaning supplies, food, etc…) thanks! You can email me at caramelangel1015@yahoo.com

There is a $1 off coupon for Emerald’s Breakfast on the Go (we use them as snacks, rather than breakfast). They’re on sale for $2.50 at my HT making it $.50 per box! I opened the box this morning and printed inside the box is $1.50 off 2 Emerald Products 7.5 oz or larger. Guess I’ll get some more emerald’s nuts today!

      • SaraNOVA

I should mention, the Emerald’s coupon is available on coupons.com :)

        • Britta

When you buy them open the box. There is is $1.50/2 printed inside the box.

    • Didi K

I just got my “e-vic alert” and the gain is on sale for 3.67, with the coupon from this past sunday’s insert and the e-vic coupon this would end up being 67cents!! HT also just added a free 2liter of Pepsi on their e-vic coupons! :)

      • Didi K

        on sale on sat*

    • Cvance0214

Has anyone had any luck in getting the charming deal? The 4 cou t was on sale but there was no coupon on the actual product….I’m in charleston sc.

    • Miad

How do you set your printer to Draft Quality?  The coupons just print with no chance to change the settings…and I think it uses a bunch of ink.. THanks!!

      • Pamgam1

You should be able to go to your printer preferences.  Look for print quality and you can choose fast draft,  It uses the least amount of ink.

    • Kim

Found two unadvertised deals at my Harris Teeter. Scott Naturals 6 pack paper towels are $7.99, with a $1 manf. Q and a $2 e-vic Q. Super Doubled, it makes it 3.99 for a 6 pack or .67/roll. Also, with the $1.50 Silk Q from the database doubled and the regular price of $3.29, you get soymilk or almondmilk for .29!

      • Britta

I was about to post about the Silk. I got two half gallon choc almond milk for .39 each. I love that stuff.

    • Jessica

Crab Classic 2/$4=FREE with $1/1 (C) in Weight Watchers Mag :)

Day 3 (my last trip!) – I’m impressed that my HT is doing great at restocking. Went back to see if they had restocked the Crave cat treats so I could donate them and they had. I also used the link in Jenny’s database to see if I could get more Rachael Ray dog treat coupons and I was able to get 2 more $1.50 coupons. I know I had gotten these before, they must have reset.

      3 Crave Cat Treats $1.69 each – 3/$1 = 3 Free
      2 Rachel Ray 3 pack Nutrish Soup Bones $3.49 each – 2/$1.50 = $.49
      2 Purina Busy Bones 2 packs $4.35 – 2/$1 = $2.35

      2 Sparkle 8 roll paper towels EVIC $3.97 – 2/$1 = $1.97 each

      1 Michael Angelo’s Eggplant Parm Entree 30oz. $7.99 – $1.50 = $4.99
(coupon was in May All You magazine for entree  20oz or more, coupon says Do not Double but it did double)

      1 Stouffer’s Multi Serve Entree 40oz $7.99 – $1.50 = $4.99
(coupon was in May All You Magazine for 28oz+ entree)

      1  Centrum Pro Nutrients Omega 3 $11.29 – $5 – $5 ZVR = $1.29
(I did this same thing at Bi-Lo earlier this week, got the Fruit and Veggie except Bi-Lo price was $9.49 – $5 – $5 ecoupon = free)

I tried for the first time to use my CVS ECB’s and they took them. So happy as they were going to expire on 4/24 and I didn’t need anything at CVS. Used  a $4 and a $2.

      Total before vic savings  $71.22
      Coupons/vic savings      $54.11
      Total OOP                     $17.11

    • tjc

When I go to the express checkout at one my local stores online it shows 7up 2 liters on sale 2/3.00 VIC special. I am not seeing it in the ad, could it just be to that specific store???

      • Yes, it could just be your store – or stores in your area – having 7 Up on sale.

    • Sarahoconnor

Just FYI.  You can get a Pepsi Next at Walgreens this week for .99 and then you get a .99 ECB back.  Our HT takes these and they double because the manager told me they are considered Manufacturer’s coupons.  There is no limit to how many you buy at Walgreen’s if you do them in different transactions.  Let’s just say, we are stocked up on Pepsi next!  :)

      • Britta

There is an e-vic coupon for a free Pepsi Next 2 liter. It is only good up to $1.25 so I paid $.08. The coupon reloaded so I will do it again tomorrow.

        • Sarahoconnor

Boy, Pepsi is sure trying to get us hooked on their new soda, huh?

    • Britta

I received my $10 off of $50 from Recycle Bank in less than a week. Fantastic!

    • chester_elizabeth86

Grande Chips are 2 for $5 and I have 75 c off each!! pretty good deal. Stocking up on chips!!

    • chester_elizabeth86

Can I use my evic coupons with manufactor coupons? Will HT take them?

      • mamabelbel

Yes!  The evic coupons come off automatically when you buy the correct product regardless of any other coupons or discounts!  Makes for some fun money makers once in a while.

    • AngieN

I can’t get to the Sparkle paper towel coupon in the database, and I’m a member of coupons.com – any advice?  TIA!

    • Tngtara

Are these unadvertised deals only at certain HT stores? I shopped today and the items I bought that were on this list were not the price listed here (ex. Jimmy Dean sausage, CoffeeMate creamer, Poly-o cheese sticks).

    • Mywolfcubs3

The new barilla pasta coupon makes it free this week at Harris teeter. Darn, just remembered Iforgot my free Pepsi next! My trip this morning.

      Gain detergent $3.77 -$1 evic -$1dbl= .77
      Scott paper towels $7.99 – $2 evic- $1/1 dbl – $2 Catalina = $1.99

      3 barilla pastas $1.69 each ( I think) – (3) $1/1 dbl = free
Glade oil warmer free after coupons
Crave cat treats free after coupons

      Saved $45.45

      • Mywolfcubs3

The jello temptations was the strawberry cheesecake and now that I tried it, it wasn’t worth the .50 yuck lol

        • Jlaleonard

where did you get the $2 jello temptations coupon?

          • Mywolfcubs3

I can’t remember, I just know I printed it a week or two ago.

        • Losing_It

I tried these too and they were terrible!!  YUCK is right!

Just wanted to know..I have the cataline too..But Can we use the catalina with the MQ.

        Thanks

        • Mtmkjr

           Referring to this?
          “Scott paper towels $7.99 – $2 evic- $1/1 dbl – $2 Catalina = $1.99”
No…. the catalina is a manufacturer coupon, so that is using 2 coupons on one product.

          • Mywolfcubs3

Sorry ladies I forgot to clarify the Catalina was $2 off my next purchase for buying kraft mayo on the first day. That was just how I was playing it out in my head. Sorry again

            • tgirl

did you only buy one scott tissue? i bought 1 scott natural paper towel, catalina didn’t print

      • Guest

I was wondering the same thing as Mtmkjr. How did you use 2 mfg. coupons on the Scott towels? The catalina is a mfg. coupon. I did this same deal but paid $3.99 since I didn’t try to use my catalina since I use my $1 mfg. coupon. Was the $2 catalina for $2 off your order not specially $2 off scott towels?

        • Guest

Typo above meant specifically not specially

        • Mywolfcubs3

Yes it was. That was just how I was figuring my trip out in my head. I meant to put that. Sorry

    • The evic is AMAZING this week.  I just got 2 bottles of Gain for 1.91!

      • Guest

How did you get it for $1.91? I did the Sat. evic for $3.77 – $1 – $1 ZVR = $.77 for the first and $3.77 – $1 = $1.77 for the 2nd. that totals to $2.54. Did you use 2 vic cards and the ZVR twice?

        • go to MoolaSavingMom page and she has it on there of what happened.  Shes awesome btw, checkout her spreadsheets! :-)

          • Guest

I already looked at her site before I posted the question and did not see how she got 2 for $1.91, perhaps I missed it. I appreciate what she and Jenny do with their sites they all help us out so much. I have looked at her spreadsheets but personally I’m still a SouthernSavers fan. I like Jenny’s lists better. It’s great we have choices.

            • Britta

I am going to guess that what happened to me happened to her. Friday I bought the fabric softner and both the detergent and the fabric softner ZVR came off my total. If she hadn’t used the one for the softner then she probably got both the softner and detergent ZVR credit. Add tax and that is most likely how she got them both for $1.91.

        • Cheryl

I got a bottle of Gain for .77 and my son got one for .77. Great deal!!

    • CherylK

I did not receive my weekly deals e-mail from Harris Teeter this week. Did anyone else not receive one? Does this mean there are just no specials for me this weekend? :(

      • Guest

Call Customer Support number on the HT website or go to your local HT’s Customer Support desk. They can lookup your evic deals by your vic number. You should have gotten an email, I assume you checked your spam folder.

      • Carriearmywife

Log into your account online to see the deals. Sometimes the emails go to the junk folder or get sent back. Try just logging into your account on harristeeter.com. It is there!

      • Carla

I didn’t get mine this week or last. They say I’m signed up. Not in spam folder. My mother didn’t get hers either… Have emailed 2x but not much help.

      • BlackHatMom

You can always login to your HT online account and click on the savings alert tab and it will show you the specials.

If anyone is taking advantage of the coupons out for Glade Expressions Oil Diffuser starter kit’s and refills, especially the one where you buy the starter  (should be able to get a $ off coupon for the starter) and get a free refill value up to $5.99. The starter kit and refill both have coupons in the boxes so you not only get a good initial deal but you end up with coupons for future purchases. The starter kit has 3 $1 coupons, 1 for Any Glade Expressions Fragrance Mist product (starter of refill), 1 for the oil diffuser refill, and 1 for Oil Diffuser starter kit. The oil diffuser refill has 2 coupons, $1 off any Glade Expressions Fragrance Mist product (starter of refill), $.50 Oil Diffuser refill. Mine expire 6/30. I like the Oil Diffuser, no mess, looks nice, doesn’t require being plugged in and I’ve had one about a month and it still smells great. Just got a second one. Really like the Pineapple Mangosteen.

    • Britta

Harris Teeter customer service is outstanding. I was putting my groceries in the car when I realized that I forgot to use the $1 peelie on the Pepperidge Farm cracker chips. I went in to the customer service desk and she handed me $2. She didn’t want to see my receipt. I pointed out that the coupon stated “do not double.” She said “have a nice day.” I am a Harris Teeter girl for life. I have been shopping there for a year. Just since January I have saved over $1700 in their stores.

      • Britta

Actually it is closer to $2000 saved. I forgot about the $200 they gave me during the pharmacy promo.

    • BB

Is it too late to get the Saturday evic like at 4AM or 5AM on Sunday morning??? When does it reset I missed my Gain Deal:(((

      • Ely

        Midnight

    • Didi K

another “unadvertised deal” – I had a coupon for $1 off of 2 “scotch brite bathroom tools” they had these scrubby brush things that I guess are technically for the kitchen on sale for 97 cents, so I got 2 for free once the coupon doubled! :)

      • Valpal 357

do you remember which insert it was in? i love using those for my cast iron skillet cleaning!

    • Didi K

Does anyone’s HT have “Silk Fruit&Protein” my sister and I cannot find it anywhere except for Whole Foods…

      • Jilledsall

I have been looking for it everywhere…so far no luck @ HT,  Farm Fresh or Food Lion :(

      • Ely

I have not found it @HT yet either, but my local Bi-Lo carries it.

    • Sareana

I was looking at some of the other comments on here about HT accepting CVS ECBs and I was wondering… I have 3 $1 +UPS from Rite Aid.  They expire today and I was going to go there and buy junk because I don’t really need anything from there this week…  BUT, will HT accept them for groceries? AND, will they double this week because it’s super doubles and they are considered manufacturers Qs?  Just got me all excited!  If anyone has any info on this I would appreciate it!

      • Savanna

They will accept them as a competitor coupon.  So they will not double.  The only time I ran into an issue with a RiteAid Up Reward was when I had already torn it off of the receipt.  On the slip of paper I handed the HT cashier, there was no information about what store it belonged to.  It didn’t say RiteAid anywhere! The manager said he couln’t take is, and I didn’t blame him.  Since then I have always left my receipt intact just in case I need to use it at HT.

      • Sarahoconnor

I had a bunch of .99 cent RR from Walgreen’s this week and I used them at my HT.  They doubled!  I asked the manager why they doubled since they were catalinas and he said they are considered manufacturer’s coupons so they double.  Great!

    • Didi K

Sareana – I don’t know about doubling, but I took a 2 or 3 dollar’s off from a catalina at Giant (grocery store) and they accepted it because it said “manufacturer” on it… but in the past I have been told Catalinas don’t double….like when I get one for .75 it only take 75 off?

      • Sareana

Thank you for the input!  I actually called the store and they said just that, that they would take them but that since it was considered a catalina that it would not double.  Fine by me, I would rather use it at HT this week.  Good to know that they do that!

    • Ely

Unexpected saving I came across Friday…Ready to carve Butterball Turkey Breasts, usually $8.99each on sale for $4.99. When I looked through my coupon binder I found I had racked up 5 $3 off catalina coupon’s for this item. So I got 5 for $9.95+tax.

    • Ameliap

I am fairly new to couponing and have a couple of questions….hope they aren’t silly!  First of all, if I load my Evic Coupons on my card, and I have a Mfg coupon for same item – will HT allow you both?  If so, then you rec’v the Evic coupon at face value and double the mfg?  Secondly  – I am reading the comments below and have no idea what “catalinas” are…..?   Thanks!!!!

      • Guest

Yes HT will allow evic coupon and Mfg. coupon on the same item it’s called stacking. Your correct that evic is at face value only on 1 item, mfg. coupons up to .99 will double. This week they are having SuperDoubles, mfg. coupons up to $1.98 will double, so $1.50 cpn will double to $3. HT has SuperDoubles or Triples (where they triple coupons up to .99) about every 5 or six weeks. Catalina’s are coupons that printout when you check out and the cashier should give them to you with your receipt. They could be for $ off a particular product or $ off you next order. Some are generated dependent I what you purchased. You don’t always get a catalina on every checkout but they are fairly frequent. Hope this helps with your questions.

    • Guest

I said I was done with SuperDoubles for this week but I had to go to get 2 free Barilla Multigrain Pastas, $1.65 – $1 mfg cpn = free. I thought this was a not so good SD week but I did really good.

    • Friendlyhand

Is HT doubles still running ? I am new to this store……

      • Valpal 357

        yes, til tuesday.

    • bonnie

Are the stores in the Cary NC area restocking regularly? I want to make another trip before doubling ends but it won’t be worth it if the shelves are clear.

    • CouponKing

    • luv2save

What a fun SD week!  I went back today for a few last items, and also to get rain checks for Carpet Fresh, Breakfast on the Go, and Neosporin.  I also got some things we needed – scotch brite sponges (with $1/2 q), Glad black trash bags (7.99 then $1 off q), more of the 2000 Flushes, FInish Quantum was 4.99 then $1q, Barilla Pastas, Garnier Styling products (2.99 and $1q), Energizer batteries (5.99 and $1q), duracell batteries )5.49 and $1 and .75ZVR.  Also got two more tums fresheners bc there is not 1.50 off 1 printables on the website.

I am officially DONE this time!   Thanks so much everyone for posting your finds, it was a HUGE help!  Until next time :)

    • cindharb

Worst trip to HT in years.  Left with only 3 of the items I wanted.  The problem:  coupons that are DND that don’t plainly say so in the usual area near the expiration date.  Without a magnifying glass I cannot see the tiny print on the coupons in the area that starts “Retailer: ……”.  That is written in approx 6 point font.   For about half of the coupons that were rejected, that’s where DND was printed.  The poor cashiers were probably blind by the end of this Super Doubles week, from having to read that tiny print on every couponer’s 20 coupons.  The other half that were rejected weren’t explained, but as I get home I see that the pile of rejected Qs has in common the bar codes starting with 5.  This is by far the largest number of DNDs I’ve seen in a while; discouraging and aggravating to have wasted so much time, and ink printing coupons that aren’t going to be used.  I wish the people who design the coupons would give us all a big break by either saying DND large and plain, or put the “5” of the bar code in a readable font.
