It’s official!!!   Starting next Wednesday 3/21, Harris Teeter will Triple Coupons all week!

This means any coupon 99¢ or less will triple in value at the register.  They will still limit you to 20 coupons tripling per day (you can always use more than 20 but the rest are at face value).

Triples is a ton of fun, and will make for deals all over the store.  To get ready, head to the coupon database and search by value typing in .85/1 or .75/1 to find great coupons you might want.

Check back Friday for the first list of deals to grab.

    • Ed In Ncarolina

This is good. Maybe this time I won’t be too busy to participate.

    • Kcreviews

      YAY! I LOVE triples.

    • JPBMC

      Terrific news!  Thanks Jenny

    • Leenie

      Can’t wait!!!!!!!!!

    • Sosorozo

      Noooooooooooooo!!

    • Robyn

I’m new to all this and just would like to clarify – all coupons under .99 cents will triple OVER .99 cents. So a .50 cent coupon would be worth 1.50?

      Thanks!

      Robyn

      • Eburke27407

        yes

        • Robyn

Thank you all for taking the time to answer me!

      • Bnd

Yes. Anything under .99 gets tripled, up to 20 per day with a VIC card. It starts 7 am on Weds and runs for a week.

      • Tina

        yes you are right.

      • Missbutterbean

Hi Robyn. Harris Teeter always doubles coupons that are .99 or less but they periodically run promotions where they double larger value coupons or triple coupons that are .99 or less. It only happens a few times a year so it’s a great one to jump on. Yes, if you have a coupon valued at .50 it’ll take $1.50 at the register. One thing to note is that if you buy something that’s say $1.00 and you have a coupon for .50, it will make it free but it won’t give you an extra .50 off the rest of your groceries. Hope that all makes sense!

      • Willie

Correct.  And a .75 coupon will be worth 2.25.  But a 1.00 coupon will only be worth 1.00.

      • Angi

Keep in mind…if a coupon says “do not double”, they will not double or triple it :(

    • Robyn

Also, is this only for a week or indefinately?

      Thanks again,

      Robyn

      • Eburke27407

only this week starting 3/14 thur 3/21

        • Eburke27407

          im sorry 3/21 thur 3/28

          • Robyn

Thank you for answering, everyone! :)

      • Missbutterbean

It’ll only run for that week. Shelves often get cleared VERY quickly so I recommend going early on Wednesday. :)

      • Willie

        It’s only for one week

    • Renee

      I LOOOOVE TRIPLES!!!!!

    • Amy

awesome!!! I have lots of rain checks to use!!

      • Missy

But what if the coupon has expired for your rain check and no new ones have come out?  That’s why I usually don’t worry about rain checks in harris teeter.

        • Amy

I always get a rain check. There will be another coupon sometime and rain checks never expire. I have one for cookie crisp for $2.50 a box and with the .85/1 those will be free. With the 20 coupons limit I will have to make a trip just to redeem rain checks. Thats why I love rainchecks. I got a lot from the sale this week too and will make for free items during triples.

          • Angi

my HT puts an expiration date on the rain checks :(

            • Amy

Maybe you should print their coupon policy and take it with you when you ask for one.  This is from their policy. I have rain checks from April I plan on using. HTH.

              Rainchecks
Rainchecks never expire and are accepted at any Harris Teeter store. We do not issue rainchecks for coupon items that may be out of stock or for “while supplies last” items. We reserve the right to limit raincheck quantities based on product availability and advertised limits. Rainchecks can be written for a limit of three unless otherwise stated in the ad.

    • Tyler

Do you have the coupon matchup for 3/14 yet?

      • I’m working on it right now and should have it up around 4:30-4:45.

        • Thank you for the hard work.  You’re consistently on top of things!  We really owe you a big round of thanks.

    • Taeila

      OMG finally, can’t wait!

    • Ladydi6677

Almost all of the coupons list above are for $1 off. We can not triple those. The description should not say what it does.

      • Olivia_clair

It is say $0.85 off 1 or $0.75 off 1

    • Kiimi9

I can’t wait!  I think I may go to work a few hours late to make sure I can get some good deals!!!

    • MC

SWEET!  Those $0.99 Scott TP printable coupons will be worth almost $3!

      • Alysia_torres

where can I find the .99 scott TP?

      • Mel

They all say ‘Do Not Double’ They start with the 5 meaning they will double.. But i’m scared the cashiers won’t let it go through like that.

        • Couponlesli1021

          Go thru self check–no cashier.

          •  If it says don’t double, then please respect that and DON’T commit coupon fraud.

          • Thechapleigh

Don’t you need to hand your Qs to the person overseeing self-checkout? That’s who scans them at my two stores.

    • Simpkinskim

Sounds great!!! But where is this weeks ad??

      • tryn2sav

Maybe you should make up your own HT ad. Do you pay her NO!! I think not.

        • CouponPro

Wow…it was just a question.  Ease back!

          • tryn2sav

You know I have been seeing too many posts on here complaining and dogging Jenny. Instead of being thankful that she’s trying to help, some people always have negative things to say. They post just touched a nerve, that’s all.

            • M2three

I think is was just a simple question….

        • M2three

Are you having a bad day or what? I think it was just a simple question…

        • Bowslayer2
