How long can you keep sugar before it goes bad? I'd like to do the Domino sugar deal, but I don't use a lot of sugar except a Christmas time.

      • Mojojess3

You can freeze sugar, put it (still in the package) in a large zip lock bag in your freezer and it will stay good a year plus. At least that has been my experience.

      • TK

Sugar will keep a long time, unopened in a cool dry place.  It will be fine for Christmas. (This is coming from my wife, a professional pastry chef.)

      • Jencolburn

Express Lane shows my store has Domino 5# on sale for $2.99 next week, not BOGO.  It may be a regional deal.

    • Briannatrice

I have a weber coupon for 1 off seasoning that is on sale for 1.99. The coupon starts with a 9. Do you think it will double. . .

      • Julie

No, only coupons starting with a 5 will double.

      • Mommy2Boys

        No :(

      • savinmavin

No, but I bought several last time they were on sale, worth the $.99. Esecially the hamburger seasoning.

    • Mel_Jolley

Did anyone in middle TN find the Kettle Chips cpn?

    • luiza

lots more items on this list my family can use, thanks!

    • njoseph06

I was wondering if this list was as well as the other two

    • Couponlori

I can't seem to get the right link for the Chef Boyardee printable.  Has anyone else had a problem with this one?  I've tried in the past also with no luck.

    • Wendyk28054

Okay, are all of these lists valid, or is this a final list?  I'm a bit confused.  I didn't see the cracker fulls or the cracker creations from the first list.  (Hope ya'll don't get tired of us newbies!!)

      • Cameronsmom

There are 3 separate lists….all should be valid (may have a little variation due to regions.) The first one is for regularly priced items, the second for advertised sales, and the 3rd is for unadvertised deals.  Hope that helps.

        • Wendyk28054

Okay, so the crackerfuls from the first list aren't necessary “on sale”, that is just the regular price?

          • Cheryl

Yes….in the first list, you only have to worry if it states “if sale continues” because that means it was on sale and may not be now.  If it doesn't say that, it is a regularly priced item.

            • Carolinablueyes84

But you can check prices and be sure before you head out on HT's website “express lane”

            • When do the sale prices become active for the start of a sale in Express Lane? For example, if I look at it now, will it have today's sale prices or tomorrow?

            • **couponer

              Now

        • njoseph06

          thank you so much!

      THANK YOU SO MUCH JENNY

Does anyone have a purchase code for the kid cuisine?

      • I have one from my free jar of peter pan pnut butter. I was able to use it twice. Not sure if there's a limit on it. Does anyone know?

      • I have one from my free jar of peter pan pnut butter. I was able to use it twice. Not sure if there's a limit on it. Does anyone know?

        • Yoyo77zz22

          nope no limit

        • Vspiderlegs

i just printed 8 kid cusine coupons from using that one code and each coupon has a different code on it.

    • Sillysnicks

Coffee and donuts for me in the morning before my shopping! I will be dropping off my extra coupons in the store as the coupon fairy–we are going out of town this weekend for 11 days so I hope others can use my extras that expire on the 30th!

    • Alinecoupons

Nature's Own honey wheat bread will B1G1 and at Horse Penn Creek store in Greensboro NC the bread man will be giving .55 coupons that will double, so the loaf is going to be less than .50 each

      • Ibdqt34

Now that's a deal worth using a coupons <$1!! I'm in Durham; little too far to drive to G-boro but good luck!!! :-)

        • Check your store! Maybe they are on sale there too :) Thanks Aline- I'm in Cary and will definitely keep my eye out!

    • Mel

For the Palermero pizzas…I have two coupons that are $1 off 1 pizza and one coupon that is $1 off 2 pizzas.  How do I use these to their maximum potential?

      • Harbinfamily

I would be buying 4 Palermos Pizzas, if I were you(using all three coupons).  We LOVE Palermos!  and Harris Teeter has so many kinds to choose from.  :)

        • Mel

We love Palermos too and made room for them ;)  I will buy 4!

        • Yep, my family is absolutely crazy about Palermo's. It's the best frozen pizza they've tasted.

      • Ibdqt34

You could buy 3 pizzas and pay $7.98 or 1 pizza and pay $2.99. Technically buying 3 pizzas would save you more money. Plus, if you need to stockpile this item and have room in your freezer, this would be the smarter choice.
        buy 2 pizzas (7.99) – $1/2 = 5.99 + 1 pizza (3.99) – $1/1 = 1.99. So 1.99 + 5.99 =7.98.

        Good luck!

      • TK

youd have to buy 3 total.  just buy one and use the $1/1.  its not really worth otherwise i think.

    • Cleonard

I'm looking for the codes for the kids cuisine AND the chef boyardee if anyone has them?? TIA!!

      • Latonyaatkiins

The code for chef boyardee is 63829897.
        Thanks
        LaTonya

      • BdaJda06

was wondering why you need a code??  Thanks

    • Stella02

On the NY Bagel Chip site there were no coupons available.

    • I have to admit that I am SUPER EXCITED. I've been couponing for a few months and I am finally starting to SEE the patience needed with this as I have a much bigger cash of coupons than my first SD event. I used to see the ladies on one of my boards excited and I just didn't get what all the fuss was. I know now!!!!!

Thank you so much Jenny. I wouldn't be able to do this without you.

    • paravel43

How do you find out about an unadvertised deal?? The Domino sugar, 5 lb. is showing up on sale for 2.99 (from 3.99) in express lane, but here is BOGO? Can I count on this in my store??

    • paravel43

The land o' lakes .75 coupon will NOT work. The coupon is for 1 qt, that sale price listed is for 16 oz.

    • Amanda

what about the Bigelow tea? Can't find the q?

    • Angelascoupons1

How are you prioritizing your shopping?  I keep thinking if I go early, I need to find the “hot” items…or else they could be gone.  Thoughts?  What will be “hot” tomorrow???

      • Jasky724

Anything 'free' always runs out first in my store. I always try to look for those the first day if I have more than 20 coupons to use.

      • paravel43

I think anything free will be hot! That's how I do it anyway. I get all the free items in that first shopping trip because of the 20 coupon limit.

    • iclipisave

The coupon policy says they will accept competitors coupons-like $2 off 20 purchase. Would that include CVS?

      • AmyQ

My HT said that they would definitely take ECB!

      • My HT will take $/$$ coupons from CVS, but not Extra Care Bucks.

        • iclipisave

The coupon I have says “store coupon' from CVS and I printed it online after registering my CVS card. It is $4 off $20 purchase. I also have $5.98 in Rite Aid Up rewards. Should I try to use both?

    • Lbagwell

well looks like I got some more organizing to do. Those asking about the freebies at HT, I have to say when you go at the beginning part of the week, its slim pickens(ie Thursday, Friday or Saturday) But Monday and Tuesday prior to the new ad, there are usually a good number of the sale items on the shelves. I got the Bayer that was advertised with the eVIC special that had been out everyday this week, today(Last Day of the sale) Hoping to get my butt up early tho to go this week. See you there

    • Thewaller5

If the chef boyardee coupon says only one coupon per purchase, does that mean I can only use one coupon per visit or if i buy nine cans i can use all three. It is .50/ off 3?
      Thanks

    • Tjc1682

im new to couponing…can someone explain the kraft dressing deal? do u have to buy two to get the deal?   the coupon says 1.00 off whn u by two…do u need two coupons???  thanks

      • Tori_rn

so if the coupon is off 2, then yes you must buy 2 dressings. to get the buy one get free price – it will ring up only if you buy one. hope this helps!

    • DianaY19

Deer Park water…there is a coupon in RP 5/22 for $1 off 24 pack…would make it $1.74..that's only 7 cent per bottle

    • **couponer

Help!! I am wondering if you can use a paper coupon with a p&g esaver coupon together on one item? I have used evic coupons in addition to paper coupons on the same item before, with no problem. But, I just found out you can load e-coupons from the p&g website also, and was wondering if it will work the same way?? Can't find anything on this when I google it either.

    • Ashlee

There is a $1 off Q for Lee & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce.  This is on sale for $2.50, which make is $.50.

    • Brian Y.

purchase code for Kid Cuisine Q 63829897

      • Vspiderlegs

thank you so very much. I bought 10 can of ravoli and not one of them had a code on it.

    • Tjc1682

so can u explain the kraft dressign coupon? how r they goin to be 46 cent…sorry im new at this

      • Faith

This is what she did: B1G1 at $2.93 ($1.46)
$1.00/2 coupon double to $2.00 since it's super doubles
        So $2.93-$2.00=$0.93/2=$0.46
        Does that help?

        email me @ ron3752@gamil.com

    • Tjc1682

      YES! thank you

      • Faith

        your welcome

    • luiza

Are H Teeter catalinas considered as manufacturer's coupons? And will catalinas double? thanks!

      • Joy

They are manu. cpns, but they don't double

      • aj

No, catalina coupons do not double.  They are mfr coupons, but state “do not double” on them.

      • thackejl

if the barcode starts with a 5, the coupon will automatically double in the computer unless the cashier manually overrides it (which some stores do, if it states “do not double”). if the barcode starts with a 9, it is still a manufacturer coupon, but it will not double.

the blinkie dispensers in my HTs always have coupons that start with 9, but the dispensers in other stores like Food Lion have coupons that start with a 5.  it's a mystery to me!

    • Chrisssyk22

SUPER market sweeps here i come!!

    • Angelawelkins

Hi all.  Several of the items that states “if sale continues” are not listed in the online sales flyer to begin on 6/21.  I assume that means the sale probably went off of these items beginning 6/21 in our area, correct?

      • Angelawelkins

        btw it is Hickory, NC

      • Lbagwell

If you check again, you’ll notice that the ones that said “if sale continues” have been removed from the original post.

    • Lesimurphy

i just called my local harris teeter and asked about the double coupon face value, the manager said my coupons will only double if .99 cent and under. i have a ton of $1.00 off coupons. any suggestions?

      • Joy

Starting tomorrow at 7 AM they will double 20 coupons up to $1.98

        • Lesimurphy

          ok. thanks.

    • Melissa Colvin

Does anyone know if the Outer Banks,NC stores will be having this sale?

      • Marycansave

They generally don't run super doubles during tourist season, although I have done super doubles there on the off season.  I'd suggest calling them and asking.

    • Kitty

Is the number that's listed in parentheses the sale price for tomorrow?  I'm new at this…

      • Robyn Ogara

I think the number in the parentheses you're talking about is the prices under the buy one get one deals and that is just stating how much you would pay for each item such as the kraft dressing is 2.93 but buy one get one so essentially you would be paying 1.46 for each dressing

        • Kitty

          Kraft Dressing, 16 oz, at $2.93 ($1.46)Free Croutons, WYB (2) -$1/2 Kraft dressing, 14 oz +, SS 6/19(makes it 46¢ ea.)
So I can get 2 dressings for 46cents each by using 1 coupon?

          • Kristen

Yes, because with the buy one get one free sale it will only be $2.93 for two dressings before coupons. Then you use one $1 off 2 coupon which will double to $2 off your 2 dressings. This makes your total .93 for two dressings or roughly .46 each. Hope that helps :)

    • Robyn Ogara

With the b1g1 deals–for example the kraft salad dressing–to use the $1.00/2 coupon would you be getting 4 salad dressings 2 of these being free to use this certain coupon?

    • nicolef76

If my harris teeter is 24 hours do ihave to wait til 7am?

      • Steph

Good question!  I'm wondering the same thing!

      • Robyn Ogara

As far as I know yes. The last time they tripled coupons the coupons would not scan and triple until 7am..something having to do with the computers switching over for the sale

      • Kmaurice

        yes

      • Nina

I talked to an associate last night at my 24 hr store and she said that the sale is at 7 am however, I can start shopping and have my buggie filled whenever I want, I just won't have the deals at check out until 7 am. Hope this helps.

      • anthena

        yes

    • Steph

Can't find the tic-tac coupon in the RP 6/12…did anyone else have this problem?

      • Alan

Ours where on the very back page, at the bottom.

      • Ibdqt34

I think different areas offer different values for this. My cousin in NY got the $1.00 coupon. I only got the 0.75 one in last week's RP (I think). I'm in NC.

    • $SavinMom

Knorr rice and pasta coupon is expired :(

    • Does anyone know . . . Can I double 20 coupons at one HT and then double 20 more at another HT?

      • Kristen

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure it's linked to your VIC card. I haven't tried it myself though… Just what I heard. HTH & Good luck tomorrow :)

      • karen

Not with the same HT vic card!   I've even read on some blogs that if you have multiple cards and use the same method of payment, Harris Teeter will link your cards to one household.  So be careful if you are shopping for a neighbor or parent.

      • Sewhitley73

You can the next day with the same card.

      • Ibdqt34

It's just one card per household per 20 coupons.

    • Kristen

Just a heads up… Some of the coupons on these lists say do not double or not subject to doubling.. etc. in the fine print… :( I can't remember all of them but I know the Bailey's Coffee Creamer, Land O'Lakes Half & Half, and Smart Balance Milk were a few of them. Do the cashiers usually read the fine print on those? lol… I'm not even going to try it, but someone let me know if they have any luck.

      • beingjennifer

It depends on the cashier for me, but thanks for the heads up. They seem to be trained that the Smart Balance don't double at my store though. ;oP

      • Amelia

I've never had a problem with the Smart Balance (or any other coupon) not doubling. However, there is one store near me where the cashiers are a little more picky and actually look at the coupons, so I just avoid that one and go to one of the other ones near me. Most of the time they never look unless something beeps at them. When they do look at the coupon they are usually looking to make sure it hasn't expired.

      • Ibdqt34

I don't think they look either. Maybe they've been trained – especially when the super doubles come around.

One quick way to know if they will double (without any cashier interference) is if the first number on the scan code has a 9. If so, they won't double. If the code starts with a 5, they will double.

        Good luck!

      • Kristinscoupons82

Went this morning and both my SmartBalance and Bailey’s coupons doubled. Good luck!!

    • karen

super excited – i've accumulated rain checks since January – u don't want to be in my line – all my  goodies will be free or very close to free!

    • beingjennifer

The $1/1 Bagel Chips coupon is out. ;o(

      • Mwilliams403

I don't see that coupn in my 6/19 RP, Im in NC

        • Jcvelazquez88

I didn't get the rp at all in either one of my newspapers for 6/19 :( i'm in fayetteville

    • Brian Y.

MY HT lost power overnight in the thunderstorms!!!!!! NOOOOOOOO!  I was gonna do a quick run before work, only to have my plans destroyed….

      • newextrem

Good luck everyone! I went out super early to get the deals but I got jipped because I didnt cashier profile and because my favorite HT had a power outage. Took me forever to shop because they had a different layout and the cashier actually read each coupon and didnt double them when the manufacturer said dont. Ive never ever had them do that so make sure you read the coupons and that you cashier profile to get the best deals!!! I wont give up because of this…we must shop at the same one sadness

    • Anyone find the Lance Cracker Creations or T.G.I.F Chicken Nuggets? I wasn't able to find them in my store in Cary, NC.

      • Goodkristen

could not find the lance cracker creations in raleigh-glenwood ave.

        • Jessicacourtney1

The crackers are not with the ret of the cracker products, they are in the chip isle near the snack cakes, I had to ask, lol

      • Hndagrl

Lance cracker  creation was not in the Fuquay store either they say the truck comes in today. T.G.I.F chicken nuggets was in Fuquay

      • Kaki

        My store didn't have either.

      • Guest

My store in Mt. Pleasant, SC had them with the 100 calorie snacks.  I had a hard time finding them because they were not in the cracker section.

      • JenW

No Lance Cracker Creations in Leland, NC store

      • Candikane02

cary – hwy 55 HT and apex – haddon hall HT both have the crackers next to the regular Lance Crackers (in the cracker aisle)

      • Tagtenn

The nuggest were out in Franklin, TN but it's the same deal on the Mozzarella sticks so I got 3 of those FREE.

        • Stephy_B

Me too! Hubby will like! :)

    • Getfitfit2526

Great trip to HT this morning.$80.00 worth of items for 13.00. WoooHooo

      • Getfitfit2526

Even better just looked over my receipt and the total was only 9.40. Don't have a clue what I thought 13. Also just  realized I forgot 1 q. Smiling ear to ear

    • Kaki

Does anyone's ad say the Kid's Cuisines are .99?  My ad doesn't say it and they rang up full price.

      • Jessicacourtney1

there are just a select few that are marked down to .99 in the store. Ours was the Mac and cheese and Spaghetti

        • Kaki

OK, thanks.  None of mine were marked…they didn't have mac n cheese or spaghetti though.

    • Kaylan

I just read on HT's website  “We double manufacturer’s coupons up to face value of $0.99; with total amount not to exceed $1.98 or entire retail of item; whichever is less.” is this new? I thought they doubled a face value up to $1.98? Is it really just up to 99 cents?

      • Coupons090

that is what they double everyday.the super doubles is different but not every store is doing this.

        • Coupons090

          sorry replied to wrong comment.

      • Rchalfa

They only double up to $1.98 during Super Doubles (this week) otherwise it is just up to .99 everyday

    • Hndagrl

The Domino Sugar said that it should be (.49) with the $0.50/1 didnt work for me because the sugar was 2.99 and it would made it $1.99 a bag and not .49 cent.. Anybody else have this problem

      • Yes, it was 2.99 at my store as well.

      • Leigh

Yes, $2.99 at my store as well, not a BOGO.

      • Sglock

Check your receipt.  The sugars regular price is 2.99 but it's BOGO which makes the cost of 1 bag 1.49.  The 50 cent coupon doubles to 1.00, your cost is .49 cent. Just left HT and I was charged .49 cents.

      • Guest

On sale for $2.99 at my store as well, regular price is $2.99 so bogo wouldn't make it $1.49 anyway even if it WAS on sale bogo.

    • JenW

      A few other deals.  Reynold's Wrap foil – 50 sq ft – BOGO – $1.99 – plus $0.74 coupon, makes it 49 cents…  Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner – BOBO $2.99  – use $1/2 coupon – makes it less than 50 cents each

      • KateE

Just left my HT in Virginia Beach, this is what I found: Strawberries were not on sale B1G1, Reynolds foil B1G1 for 3.99, johnson and johnson red cross products were not on sale, and Johnsonville sausage was 4.99.  I did find So Delicious coconut milk on sale 2 for 6.00 – use the $1 off and it is a good deal for those looking to save on healthier options.  All in all not a bad trip 100.55 dollars worth of groceries for 39.95.  A little over 60% savings!

        • Lbagwell

when I went to my HT in Suffolk, a lot of stuff hadn't been tagged yet. The employees were still tagging items. the Johnsonville sausage are on sale, its listed in the ad. and they ring up properly at the register. Sorry for your experience, make sure you're shopping after 7am to make sure sales are up and current.

    • Guest

My HT on Tea Planters Lane in Mount Pleasant had Pampers 64-72 count wipes on sale for $2.99.  I had one of their e-coupons for $1 plus I just got a $1 off coupon in the mail.  Made them FREE!

    • Tagtenn

I tried my hand at couponing back in 2009 but didn't keep it up.  So I've been back working on my coupons for 3-4 weeks now and I'm loving it.   I just had an early morning shopping trip to Harris Teeter and I paid $43.93 for $153.16 worth of Groceries.  The Pedigree Dog food is a great deal.   It's usually $18.99 a bag and I got 2 bags for $5.99 each. I love the Super Doubles.  Thanks for all the work you do.

    • Jlonon

Domino sugar 5lb bag was not BOGO in Charlotte, NC today.  But got $130 worth of groceries for $40 so still a great morning!

    • Coupons090

recycle bank has a 10.00 off of 50.00 for harris teeters may work for some of you .i tried to use a winn dixie 5.00 off of 30.00 a year or so ago and they told my i had to have a total of 30.00 after coupons .anyways i didnt type in a zip code but had already logged in so my zip is 32218 if you need it.

      • Mel

I used at HT coupon and a Bilo 2 off 25 q today with no problem.

      • Carolina Coupon Mom

Used my $5 of $25 from Food Lion today at HT without any problems.  Total was $14.90 after coupons.  Great morning indeed!

    • Jessica

Domino sugar and Deer Park water are not B1G1 in Greenville, NC… there are some other great deals though.  Hefty Trashbags were B1G1 plus the odor shield kind had a $1 coupon attached.  Said it didn't double, but when I got to the register, it did.  So I got $8.99 trashbags for $2.50!

      • Redi5678

Same here with the Domino Sugar in Huntersville NC.

Does anyone know where the Lance Cracker Creations are? I have coupons for them but searched all over the store and couldn't even find a tag for them! Went at 7am and there was already so much off the shelf. Was so disappointed that I didn't get a lot of what I wanted, but will go back this weekend and try again.

My HT does not have these either.  Bummer, BUT I got the Pepperidge Farm Baked Naturals snacks for $0.50 a box!!!  They were on sale 2/$5 and I had 2 $1off coupons!!!

        • GTM2006

I will have to look for those next time I go in :)

      • Sdanorth

At my HT, they're in the area you'd expect them to be in, but on the very bottom shelf. I drove right past them the first time down that aisle.

        • GTM2006

I wonder if I did that, lol

      • Stephy_B

These are the packaged crackers like you might put in a brown bag lunch, they were all out at my Nashville store, but may get some more in a day or two! Don't get too discouraged! :)

        • GTM2006

Thanks! Last time we did awesome on super doubles this time only see a few deals here and there.

    • Karichie3

$44.40 worth of groceries for $8.95 is pretty fabulous :)  Got 2 Smart Balance milks, 1 Breakstone cottage cheese 4pack, 1 Kraft big slice swiss cheese, 1 HT 8oz shredded cheese, 1 dozen large eggs, 1 18ct Playtex sport, 2 boxes Pepperidge Farm Baked Naturals snacks ($0.50 each!!!), 2 Mariana Banana chip packages, and 6 Balance Bars.  Seventeen items in all: thank you Harris Teeter and Southern Savers!!!

      • Karichie3

One thing though, the Classico pasta sauce was NOT on sale at my Harris Teeter.

        • Blamurray

          mine either :( I did get them for $.99 which isn't bad…

    • Lopezshopping

I notice that it says the Pedigree is $3.00 off but when I click on the link, it's for a $1.00 off coupon… which still works with the doubling at $2.00 off.  Did anyone get the coupon at $3.00 off?  Or was that the early bird special?

      • Kaki

I printed it a week or so ago and got the $3 coupon.  I noticed last night too that it's now $1.

    • Starfire33sp

When I click on the printable link for bigelow tea, the coupon does not come up.  Do you have another link?

    • Lfriend81

i found 2 more coupons in the produce department.  One was if you buy 1 kraft dressing $1/1 bag of Harris Teeter brand salad in a bag, and the other was buy 2 kraft dressings you get $1 worth of produce free!  Plus i had the $1 off 2 kraft dressings!  Good luck!

    • Sarahoconnor

Just got $100.95 worth of groceries for $34.12 (32 items including diapers)!  I've been couponing for a while, but this site has helped me so much!  Thanks!  We didn't have the Lance crackers though.  :(

    • Kcreviews

I went to the store this morning at 6:45am–not sure it was worth it. The ad was TINY and there was hardly anything in it. The Cheerios were NOT on sale, nor were many of the other items listed here.

One good unexpected find I had was the Philly Cooking Creme, which was $2 (free if you have a $1.50 q).

I used my Recycle Bank $10/$50 and saved more than I spent, so that was good, but still, it's hard to pay $52 even when I'm getting chicken, beef, pork and water bottle packs. I think my only freebies were the Bounty Napkins and Danon-nino yogurt. The Magnum bars were still out of stock from last week. So, a good trip, but not crazy good like I'm used to for Super Doubles.

      • Blamurray

I completely agree. This wasn't a great Super Doubles event. A lot of the B1G1 match ups weren't happening at my Raleigh, NC store. However, I did get everything I wanted so overall it was a good trip :)

        • Ibdqt34

I'm in Durham. Haven't been yet. Do you remember which B1G1 didn't match up? Depending on what they are, I might hold off stopping by until later in the sale. Thanks! :-)

          • Tryn 2 Sav

For me it was the house autry, that was just $2.49

      • Ibdqt34

What is a recycle bank? I'd consider myself a newbie to couponing. I've never heard of that. TIA! :-)

      • Candikane02

my HT had a sign on the freezer that said “HT will no longer be carrying Magnum bars until further notice”. good thing i bought some last week!

    • Tiger1girl

      how many IP's per day?

      • Guest

2 of the same, no limit on total.

    • Nancysaves10

there is a q for $1 off any bob evans sausage product/ I used it on the sausage/ biscuit cheese which made them .49 cents per box !!

    • Deal Diva

Another freebie:  Smart balance popcorn from SS 5/8/11, on sale for $1.30 through 6/28, coupon is .75 , expires 6/22- redeem today!

    • Lbagwell

Good morning ladies of Suffolk HT. I got to our neighborhood HT at 10 til 7 and there were already a dozen couponers in the store. had a great pull, 80 bucks of grocery for under 20 dollars. Thanks again for the links, and all the work you do everyday preparing us for the next sale.

      • ajfitschen

I also shopped at the Suffolk, VA store this morning and I got there around 6:30.  I got everything I wanted except for the Lance crackers.

Got $98.84 for $20.03!  Great morning.

I think I’ll go back for a few deals tomorrow…lesser deals (not freebies or under $1) hopefully a few lesser deal items will still be there!

      • Bishfam

Ok. I am new and I thought I did pretty good but I have been reading some of these posts and I don’t know how do you get your totals so low? I did all my high value coupons too. My total was 45 and I got it down to $20 and I thought I was doing good? Obviously I am missing something. Suggestions? Thanks!

      • Lbagwell

Incorrect, I got 100 dollars worth of groceries for 28 dollars. Sorry still had the sleepy eye when I posted.

    • Sara Threatt

So how long are these super double going on? How much does HT double normally? My MIL lives near a HT and is going to start grabbing a few items i need from time to time because my stores all of a sudden are having NO GOOD DEALS! Can someone give me a quick HT rundown?

      • Guest

Superdoubles will be going on for the entire sale week – they started today and will continue through next Tuesday June 28.

        • Ibdqt34

Word has it that they usually do super doubles at the end of the month! :-)

    • savinmavin

My HT had the Hormel pork loins for $5.99 with the $1 coupons makes them $3.99. Not bad we split them into so $2 per meal is a great deal.

    • Stephy_B

Thank you for your help here Jenny – got up at the crack of dawn in Nashville (6 mo. old son in tow) and got to HT by opening time and spent only $12.89 for $70 worth of groceries! I think the only thing that I didn't see on your list was Garnier Fructis shampoo (2.89) that I got for only .89 each with my $1/1 coupon. The Tom's products were a favorite, esp. the free bar soap, and free Mueller's whole wheat pasta!

      • bluegreen

Thanks for the heads up on the Garnier Fructis.  I will check out tomorrow!

    • Tcralwey2

I got $55 worth for 72 cents in Fayetteville this morning….but boy was it a mad house…much more couponer crowded then normal.  Hopefully, it will slow down a bit as the wee progresses.  Only 2 of my items were current sales as everything else was pretty muched cleared by the time I got there at 6:30.  Thank goodness for rain checks!!!

      • Jcvelazquez88

what time did you go? guess it isn't worth it to go today, I'm also in fayetteville. Isn't it sad there is only one..Fayetteville isn't very accomodating for the its population…do you know when they usually restock?

        • Tcralwey2

I “overslept” and didn't get there until 6:30.  Yes, I do wish we had more than one…I'm hoping they get the one in Hope Mills done sooner than expected, but unfortunately these things rarely run on time.  They restock grocery every night except Monday, and cold/ dairy items are restocked most days mid- late morning.  They do tend to restock the dairy a bit earlier in the day during SD weeks.  Hope that helps.

          • Jcvelazquez88

Thank you so much! I think I’ll go today and look at the empty shelves so I know where to find things tomorrow morning when I go lol. Didn’t know they were building one in hope mills, so that’s great news!!!

    • Ukgirlintn

Thank you Southern Savers and HT. I got $71.36 of groceries for $6.32 – AND a guy asked me out and gave me his # while I was shopping!!

Sing it with me – ” Oh happy day!!” :-)

      • savinmavin

He must like thrifty women! hehehe You got a great deal!

        • Jlaleonard

maybe He wants a wife that knows how to Save him money! lol

      • Mojojess3

Can I tell you how this made me smile. What a bargain! Wouldn’t it be a hoot if he was the “one” and it was all because of the magic of coupons ! :)

      • Mojojess3

Can I tell you how this made me smile. What a bargain! Wouldn’t it be a hoot if he was the “one” and it was all because of the magic of coupons ! :)

    • Lovenhaight

I didn't have the Kettle Chips or Tom's of Maine coupons in the 6/19 coupons…WTH.

      • Angelascoupons1

Me neither…I bought the Kettle Chips anyway but wished I'd had that coupon!  We were missing a lot of the ones from last weekend that Jenny mentioned.

    • Angelascoupons1

Had two shopping trips this am…one early, the other around 9:00 (have a neighbor out of town on vaca letting me use her card).  Each trip was $22…so for $44 got $180 in groceries (76% savings).  There were no napkins, dano yogurts or Lance crackers to be found…but otherwise, it was a good morning.

There is a lot to be said for getting up and going early.  I hate to say it, but the early bird does catch the worm.  I am hoping for napkins and the other stuff later in the week when my store restocks.

The only extra deal I found was on Mission chips if you have a coupon from the beer section…$1.50 when you buy two.  It makes them $.75 per bag.

      • Amy

I was hoping for the free napkins, too, but they were already out.  I just went ahead and bought the 200 ct for 3.79.  Still not a bad deal because the coupon is for $1.00 and doubled, and then there is a $1.00 ZVR, too, so they came out to just $.79 for the 200.  That is like getting two packs of the 100 ct for $.40 each, so that seemed good enough for me.  I know that my store will be out of the napkins all week, or some rude person will completely clear out the shelf by doing multiple transactions or even use multiple VIC cards, so my chances of getting the free napkins is next to nothing.

    • Mel

Just got home from HT.  it was my first time doing Super Doubles and I have only been collecting for 3 weeks so I am VERY new.  I also needed items that I did not have coupons for.  Ended up saving $97 on $190!  I was pretty excited.  Not as great as some of you others but I am still learning :)

      • Bishfam

Right there with you. Just started myself. My total was about 45. Had only 30 min and had to rush (bummer) and got my total down to $20. Good for a newbie I think. I am trying to buy only what I need…I have actually gone thru alot of money this month shopping and trying to learn this.

    • Lovenhaight

Does anyone in Greenville, NC have a Tom's of Maine coupon that they aren't using? I'll trade you pretty much anything else that I have.

    • Jtrish43

Thank you Southern Savers and Harris Teeter got 40.55 for 4.13 at Lincolnton store, got there around 7:00 this morning and it was pretty busy! Just getting back to using coupons, thanks for all the tips from everyone!

    • Lmlogan1

WOW, A total nightmare this morning. Everyone was very pushy and rude. A young girl cleared the entire shelf of over 20 boxes of crackers. I was really disappointed by her lack of courtesy. oh well!! I got $152 of groceries for $14! AWESOME! Congrats to all on your good deals!

      • Jolly

That is kinda crazy…I thought Harris Tetter would only let you use 2 like internet coupons and 3 like newspaper coupons!

        • Tagtenn

I was literally the first shopper today and when I left it was still dead so most of what I wanted was there.   However, the cashier patiently went thru the coupon rules with me.   She said they will double up to 20 coupons per day but will take any more than 20 at face value.  Then she said they only double 3 coupons for like items each day.  So I'm hoping there are still some items available tomorrow.   They took alot of internet coupons from me.  She then thanked me for being polite and said she was waiting on these two ladies that always come in together on Super Double or Triple coupon weeks and said they are always rude and get made when the cashier won't let them break the rules and always ask for a manager.  I said I'm pretty new and I don't want to cheat.  I just want to save money within their rules.

          • Lmlogan1

Aww yeah I experienced the mean shoppers today. Those poor check out kids :/ My whole thing is that a few bucks is no reason to lose your sense of courtesy. I think a lot of people forget it is a blessing we have coupons and a greatttt store that has wonderful programs. I'm glad you are concerned about rules too, because I'm right there with ya. I want to save money the right way- and keep it fair for everyone :-)

    • Carrieluvsgreg

all I can say is WOW!  My retail total was $94.70 and my OOP was $18.64!  My best week so far!!!  I will be going back before the week is over!

    • RLoving1

Does anyone know what time the Vic card resets? Just wondering what time I should plan my trip for tomorrow. I checked out at 8 AM this morning…

      • Guest

Legend has it it's somewhere between midnight and 4 am.  Kind of hard to pinpoint.

      • Germaine Jenkins

Wait 24 hrs to be safe.  I thought like you and finished shopping one night at 11 p.m. and came back the next morning at 8 a.m. and my coupons didn't double.

        • RLoving1

Yeah, I'll probably wait until at least 8 just to be sure.

    • PamperedKate

Recycle Bank has a printable $2/2 for the Earthbound Farms for only 50 points! Not a super double, but still a good deal for fresh salads :)

    • Ashley

Went to the Lincolnton NC store this morning and some things were out but I will be going to another store tomorrow.  My total was $316 before vic card and coupons and my total after everything was $149.  Not to bad since I'm new to couponing.  The one thing I wanted was the Lance crackerfuls and they were out.  I would have gotten those for free, but I still have time!! Thanks to southern savers for all the tips on how to save my family some money!!!

      • Jam5az

I wen tto HT today and I didn’t find the Lance crackers either.  I don’t even know if mine carries them.

    • CouponFairy

For anyone with Keurigs…if you have the $1.50 off any Millstone product coupon (from within this last month sometime online and in an insert)…the Millstone Kcups are on sale for $6.99, so after the coupon they are $3.99!  That's a darn good deal for Kcups!

      • Hebshops

I did that deal. That was a great one! :)

        • Tif06

what insert was the coupon for millstone in?

          • Amy

It was in my RP 6/5 insert.

    • mackenzie

pepperidge Farms Baked naturals and cracker chips are 2/5 and i used two $1.00 off coupons making them .50 cents each!

    • CouponFairy

This week and when they did triples week…for whatever reason I had issues with Frank's red hot LOL.  They only let me use ONE coupon, even though I bought two…saying that after the coupon doubled it covered the cost of both.  Where do they get this from?  For one, 2 are $1.49…I had a coupon for $.50 off one…so doubled is only $1.  And two..they ring up at half, so if I had a coupon for $.50 off one, it should double up to $.72 since they don't do overage and I should be able to use 2 coupons for both bottles.  I don't get it LOL.

      • Candikane02

That happened to me today too! and they looked at me like it was fradulent lol. they said it was because it was part of a “deal”…. what the? what does that even mean?!

    • **couponer

Ok so I had a generally sucessful trip this a.m.  They were out of dan-o-ninos, bounty napkins and no lance crackers – still.  Also, two items that were on sale, that were even in my email from HT (Metamuci and Johnsonville Chicken Sausages) were not marked so if I wouldnt have made a list I would not know that they were on sale… maybe they did put the stickers out yet…?  But, they rang up fine.  After my total and I tried to pay the register kept beeping and a “manager” came over and tried to tell me I couldnt use any of the coupons for $/2 or $/1 if it was part of a BOGO deal – since I was only purshasing one item.  Wasn't it already established that this is OK at HT now and that eash item rings up half price?  I explained to her what the policy said and she gave me a dirty look and went and asked a cashier at another lane and came back and said “I will do it this time.”  I was frustrated but held it in and explained to her that I come to HT atleast once a week and have never had an issue with this.

      • **couponer

sorry for the long post! I was in need of venting! I just dont know why the manager was so rude ab it and after I told her I never had an issue before she mumbled something under her breath!! All the other managers at that store have always been nice and courteous!

        • CJ

I went thru the same thing today. I've realized that some harris teeter's ring up BOGO items as 1/2 price and others ring them up as 1 full price and then -1 full price. So when I use 2 coupons at the “half-price” harris teeters, they never say anything about it. But today (and normally) at the Strickland Rd Harris Teeter in Raleigh, their computers – which I can see as it's ringing up – ring up items as full price and then subtract the free item at the end of the transaction. It makes no sense. And the cashiers look at me like i'm trying to pull one over on them! ugh

          • **couponer

Its frustrating! I dont know why they all cant be informed of the same things and all know the same rules…It would make it a lot easier on them and the people that spend hours looking through sales papers and cutting out coupons! im sure that manager is going to have that same situation many times today!!

        • NC shopper

My total at HT today came to $93. AFTER the doubled coupons and my e-vic discount, my total purchase came to $49. That's just under 50% savings. I'll take it!

          • BG

my total HT order was $152.87-  vic savings and – coupons total out of pocket $48.96. And I got hamburger 4 packages.

        • Okokok

i went today three trips with three diferent vic cards and total was 2.98

          • Amy

How do you have three VIC cards?
Do you have three different households, or are you shopping for a friend?  Or do you borrow cards from friends that don't coupon?

          • Chloe's mom

            3 cards? nice…that explains alot….:-(

          • **couponer

No wonder things were already out not even an hour after the sale started. I think people should stick to the rules so we can all enjoy a good deal.

          • Anniescott114

people like you are making it harder on everyone else..so thanks enjoy your stuff.

    • Lwagner001

does anyone know the deal with the link for kid cuisine coupon? it takes you to another site that asks for a promotion code??

      • Angie

You have to put in a code from a Cogara product to access the coupons

        • Angie

          Sorry, meant Congara

      • guest

        Try this code—–62895382

        • Joy

          Thank you!!!

        • Lwagner001

          That worked thanks so much!

      • Okokok

yes they do that to make you buy a kid quizine to get the code

    • **couponer

a question… if an item is one price online on the express lane and is another in the store… which do they go by??

    • bluegreen

FYI to the shoppers in the washington, Dc area, the following are not on sale:
TGIF Friday's Popcorn Chicken. on sale at the regular price of $4.39
      Buitoni Pasta no longer B1G1
Many of the the other deals are the still the same though.  Happy Shopping!

    • livelife:)

    • Carol_R

There is a $0.50 coupon on Driscoll's facebook page that should double for $1 off.

    • shaynanc

        • Judah9 0

Sorry, Frugal4eva. I don’t have any Biltmore Dressing coupons.

    • couponuser

I have tried to print the coupon for the kids cuisine meals, but the page tells me that I have already printed my twenty coupons. I had this trouble with the pb coupons for Publix several weeks ago. I didn't print twenty qs but it wouldn't let me print more. When will it reset? Is there something I can do to make it reset other than use another computer? My desktop doesn't like my printer an won't work. Please help!!!!

    • Tryn 2 Sav

I got $50.00 worth of groceries for under Nine dollars. Now you can't beat that! Jenny thank you so much! I really appreciate all the work you do for us. I have a family of four and we are saving so much. Even though some of the sale items don't match in my store, I still save more than I would doing this on my own. You will not here a complaint from me.

    • sarahinNC

The bounty napkins were all out at my Fayetteville HT this morning, bummer, BUT I did get $169 worth for $54.80 ,tons of items including 6 pkgs meat and 5 packs diapers.  (got 2 pkgs of Pampers diapers for 50 cents!!!!! And got 1 Gillette deoderant, 1 Gillete bodywash, 1 Old Spice deo, 1 Old Spice bodywash = free with $1 overage with manuf. qs and e-vic qs…..so check out your evic coupons!!!)

      • sarahinNC

ps. and these were all things that we need and use!!!!  Not like that tv show!

        • guest

What's your secret on the diapers?!?! I need to start looking for these deals for a baby coming in August!

          • Candikane02

            congratulations! :)

          • sarahinNC

Rainchecks!  Whenever there's a e-vic special on diapers (that prints on the bottom of the receipt), I see if there's any left on the shelf.  Usually it's a limit of 2.  If the size that I want is gone, I ask for a raincheck and then save the raincheck for a super doubles event.  Usually I have a $1.50 from PG for diapers, which doubles and there you go.  Here's how today worked out.
Raincheck:  Pampers Jumbo pack $5.99 each limit 2 (so I bought 2)
Coupons used:  (2) $1.50 from PG
                                   (1) e-vic coupon:  $1.50 on cruisers
So, it should have come out to $2.99 for one pkg. and $1.49 for the other,

BUT…. in addition, to my surprise the register took off $2 off each pkg, b/c they were on sale I guess.  I pointed this out to the cashier and lady in charge, b/c I wanted to be honest, but they shrugged their shoulders b/c it was a register thing.  This has never happened to me before, but it sure was nice.  So that's how I got 2 pkgs for 50cents.  Congrats on your baby coming!  This website is a great one for saving on diapers!

      • Aline

How did u get the diapers for .50??? Oh my goodness, thats is an awesome deal

        • sarahinNC

Aline, rainchecks.  I described the deal a few lines down.  : )  For the other 3 diaper pkgs I got Luvs w/ rainchecks and paid $3.99 each after coupons.  Still, not bad.  My daughter goes thru the diapers like crazy!  I refuse to pay more than $4 a pkg.  Hope that helps.

      • Starsidreamof05

how did you get diapers for  50 cents? i to live in fayetteville

Anyone got Hungry Jack coupons they'd be willing to part with?  I have lots of stuff I'd be willing to share.  Just email me at angelascoupons1@hotmail.com.  Thanks!

Just finish my trip to Harris Teeter. I got $65 worth of groceries for $10

Just finish my trip to Harris Teeter. I got $65 worth of groceries for $10

    • Tyedyemomma

I had such a great trip this morning.  I love shopping there and I love the cashiers and how wonderful they were.  I even overheard a manager say “southern savers”. My daughter got a kick out of that, I am teaching her and she was shocked to hear our website being talked about! HAHAHA
Someone in there had thought the Lysol wipes were B1G1 so she was alerting the other cashiers to remind people that were buying them that they were not.  I thought that was so awesome.
      Thank you Jenny!

      • Yaya

Two people on different sides of my store this morning dropped printouts from Southern Savers. I had to double check and make sure it wasnt off my lists. Good Stuff.

    • Shannon_B

My trip wasn't as eventful as planned out. Alot of the prices on here didn't add up to the same prices/sales/bogo's in the store.  I was showing a girl the ropes and I hope she didn't get thrown off by it and not want to do it anymore. We have to drive 30 miles to the nearest HT so I hope next time to do better.

      • AB

I noticed this as well – a lot of the ad sales here may be regional because they were not the same at my local store.  I like to use the Express Lane to check prices – it actually updated around 2:30pm yesterday and I just plug in my products to get the price for planning.

        • Kenzieleigh83

What do you mean the express lane??

          • css03

some stores offer the service where you can order your groceries on line and pick them up at the door.  If your store offers this, you can go online and see the prices of the items before you go to the store.

          • Lbagwell

            Probably the UScan line.

      • I had the same problem. Not sure what happened with the prices this week. I was showing 2 of my friends the ropes. was thinking the same thing!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

    • CLooney

At my HT in Concord, N.C. the Kid Cuisines and the Land of Lakes are not on sale.  They are regular price.

      • Nicki George

They aren't in Wilmington either, neither is the TGI Fridays chicken!

      • Couponclippingmom2011

according to the online store. only the mac and cheese and spaghetti are on sale for 99 cents. I haven't been to my store yet, I am going tomorrow. But the store I go to offers online shopping and I have been pulling up some the prices on it.  I am assuming they match up to in store prices, i haven't tried this before.

      • Brian Y.

The Kid Cuisine was the spaghetti and meatballs that was on Clearance.  At least that's how it was in Rock Hill, SC.  Same with the TGIF Popcorn Chicken.

    • JamieLeigh26

Went to HT first thing in the morning. Pretty happy to have saved $45 w/ my q's!  This was my first trip that I felt went extremely well. I went into much detail on my grocery list and listed items in order of importance. Made a big difference!  I was in and out in no time.  FYI, the Pert and Garnier shampoos were not on sale, which I saw listed on a previous list.  But oh well. Didn't really need it.

      • AB

Great savings!  I find it helpful to list the details as well – my list usually shows the product (w/size or variety if specific), price, coupon value (along with evic coupon if applicable), and then my OOP cost.  I know what my total should be at the end of the transaction which makes it easier for me to tell if everything scanned correctly.

      • guest

Some perts are on sale – got  a couple last night for .27 each after coupon  – had to look closely to find them.

    • Ocean

I went to HT this AM got $67.00 worth of groceries for 16.00 OOP.  Did anyone else use the soft scrub total coupon 1.50/1 (internet que) and combine it with the BOGO and get the free soft scrub bleach or gel for free?  These were not on sale but still a great deal.  The SC Total was 3.99 and the SC w/ bleach was 3.79.  I did this twice so I bought 15.56 worth of SC for 1.98.

      • Tagtenn

I used the soft scrub coupons and the bogo coupons at Walgreens.  They were on sale for $3.  I did the senario Jenny posted.  Bought 1 Purex detergent with coupon, two scoft scrub totals and two bogo bleach or gel coupons.  the total was $5 and I got Register Rewards of $4 making the total $1.  :-)

    • Couponclippingmom2011

      overage question
I have a coupon for .75 that will double to 1.50. The item is 1.25. Will I get a .25 credit or do I just get the item for free and no credit? I know that they will not give you money back, but can you get like a credit towards the rest of your groceries?

      • heather

No overage, just the item for free. The computer will adjust the amount of coupon  to just make it free.

        • Couponclippingmom2011

          thanks

      • sarahinNC

The only overages that HT does is with e-vic coupons.  If you stack a manuf. and an e-vic coupons, sometimes they will exceed the purchase price, and you will get overage toward your other items.

        • Lbagwell

Forgive me for stepping in here but it really depends on the product. I had a half dozen items today double and clear the price. I know one off the top of my head was the Reach Floss, priced at 1.65 but the coupon I had was for 1.00 off, it doubled no problem. But things like the Dananino Yogurt, was 1.99 I had a 1.00 coupon and it only doubled to 1.99.  So in most cases you're right, just pay attention at the register.  I was really surprised by this.

          • mamabelbel

I also had several today that doubled the full value of the coupon and exceeded the price of the item.  My bill came up several dollars less than I was expecting and I was very surprised!  This is not normal but a nice little treat.  Helped me get over the annoyance of not getting any Magnum ice cream bars or napkins.  :)

    • Amy

Can I buy 2 gillette body washes and use a bogo my $2 e-vic coupon and then 2 $2 man coupons?

      • Tcralwey2

I did it 2 weeks ago when they were on sale for 3.99 with no problem.  Just hand over the $2 off coupon before the b1g1.

    • AM

The Domino sugar is not BOGO and the Excedrin is $6.99 on sale, instead of $4.99 in Matthews, NC.

      • Judy

I'm in Hendersonville and our store did not have the Domino sugar on sale either, but other customers were saying that the other closest store near me had it but still too far for me to go!

        • Brooke

Im from Hendersonville to, just got back a lot of the shelves were wiped clear. Thinking about going to the other one tomorrow even if its a 30 min drive.

      • Amelia

I went to 2 in North Charlotte and neither had it on sale. However, there was none left on the shelf. And I looked on the HT Express Lane and it is listed at $2.99.

    • Carolinablueyes84

I dont remember seeing it on any of the lists, but Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce is $1.25 – .50Q (doubled) = $0.25 And this sauce is delicious!

      Charleston, SC $144.14 Total – 90.58 Coupons = $53.56 Paid

    • guest

anyone – do $1 coupons double to 1.98 or stay at $1 ??

      • AB

not sure what you are asking – $1 coupon will double to $2 this week – similarly $1.50 will double to $3 so it's an excellent week for the high value coupons

        • guest

from the HT coupon policy.  “We double manufacturer’s
coupons up to face value of $0.99; with total amount not to exceed $1.98
or entire retail of item; whichever is less.”i was taking this to understand coupons up to .99 would double but those higher would be face value.thank you for your response

          • AB

You are absolutely correct on the everyday policy.  This week is the special Super Doubles sale which is why $1-1.98 coupons will also double.  Normally $1 coupon will scan face value only.

            • guest

okay, now im excited.  this is my first trip to HT! thanks
              ryan

            • AB

Super Doubles are great – I got $96.78 for $15.73!  With the sales, it's easy to get lots of everyday items for free which is so nice.

            • guest

how often do super doubles weeks occur?

            • Amelia

              Usually once a month.

      • $1will dbl to $2, if it DOES NOT SAY DO NOT DOUBLE even with t a 5 on bar code. hth!

        • Dbc2cl

Not tru all my q Dbl today

      • Lopezshopping

They double up to $2.00 if I'm not mistaken.  It's coupons up to $1.98 that will be doubled, so if you have a coupon for $1.50, it doubles up to $3.00… I know this as I used a $1.50 coupon for Pampers and I got $3.00 off of a box.

    • Clemson_girl

My Harris Teeter had Philadelphia cooking creme for 2/4 if you have the 1.00 off coupons both is free!!!!!

      • Lopezshopping

Same here Clemson_girl, and I'm going tomorrow to use the last coupon of that creme to get another one free!

    • Judy

I purchased 6 Kraft dressings and tried to get 3 HT croutons and they only let me get 1 free and said the deal was limit 1 even though the ad didn't say that. :(

      • AB

On the bright side, I'm assuming you paid $0.50 per bottle for Kraft dressing – what a deal!

      • Amy

The same happend to me.  I went to return the croutons today and they gave me my money back and let me keep the croutons.  :-)

    • Chloe's mom

WHAT A BUMMER! Today I woke up early in excitement for the super double sale only to find she shelves were already empty…no pancake mix, no napkins, no lance crackers, no tin foil, no smart bal milk, no tom's soap, no kotex liners….ettcccccc.. Honestly…I really wish the stores would acknowledge the items hoarders are going to take advantage of and try to keep those items well stocked during weeks like this for those of use who follow the rules and limits. I really only lucked out with some things that weren't on Jen's list that i researched on express lane…hormel completes, frenches worstershire…nothing to write home abt.

      • MomOf4

Try not to be too discouraged.  Ask your store when they will restock, you can usally get the deals later in the week when everyone's used up their coupons.  Don't forget rain checks!

        • Chloe's mom

i'll try not to. i was there bright and early so was just dissapointed because i took alot of time to plan etc. i was asked by my cashier if i found everything ok…of course the answer was no and her response was….hmmm bummer…lol…why you even ask? but it's ok maybe i'll luck out later in the week.:-)

          • Cls7308

remember to get rainchecks on all that stuff too–it can be a pain in the bum–but you know you can use it forever and there will be more coupons at a later date–the 1st day seems to be like that– our ht gets a truck every night but monday– and the manager said if its out on the shelves over and over usually the warehouse is out– as in the case of the heinz cats a couple weeks ago

            • Tagtenn

Will they honor the Super double Coupon with a raincheck too or are they just rainchecking the sales price?

            • Amelia

They usually do a super doubles event every month. So if your coupons don't expire before the next event, then you can definitely wait and redeem your raincheck then. However, once this week is over, they will not double your coupons, even on raincheck items until the next super double event.

            • Amy

In the HT coupon policy, they will not give rainchecks for what they consider “coupon products”…..They enter the raincheck on a computer and it will tell them if it can issue one.

            • EB

I have been wondering what the “coupon products” statement means and it does not make sense to me that they will not give a raincheck on items that everyone clears out because there is a good coupon – how do they know that you want it because you have a coupon and not just because you want it and it is gone? It makes more sense to me that this statement means that they will not give you a raincheck that also indicates that they will double your high value coupon to make it a the deal you would have gotten this week – they will not give you a raincheck on the redemption of a coupon.
This interpretation matches with what my store does – they have never denied a request for a raincheck if it is listed in their sale paper but I have overheard other people ask and be told that they will not write the raincheck so that a $1 coupon can be doubled when the raincheck is redeemed.

      • guest

harris teeter only lets you use 3 coupons for a like product…i could only get 3 of each of what I wanted. So “hoarders” didnt take all that stuff….i was there at 6 am  try earlier…and dont call people hoarders…its offensive

        • guest

I think, though, that it is easy for one person to clear the shelf of free items.  All they have to do is do multiple transactions and they can get up to 20 of an item.  Or more!  I have already seen a reply post by someone here saying they used three vic cards today.  That means 60 coupons used in one day!  I have a family of seven, so I know that we go through a lot of stuff quickly and might need a lot.  A thing of free napkins might last us a week or less.  Still, I would try to respect the rules, not abuse them.

          • Chloe's mom

i totally agree….i know that some families are larger than others and every penny counts. the guidlines are there for a reason so everybody gets a chance to participate…it's just too bad that there always has to be someone to abuse such a neat program by cheating.

        • Chloe's mom

excuse you but i was referring to the people who come on here and admit to using 3 different vic cards for multiple trips in a day. im not exactly sure why you took offense to that…that's on you.

          • Cls7308

just FYI– mgmt has told me the new policy for vic cards is that they only allow one trans per person and if they see they same person going through–they will not allow and when they can they are linking cards of the person using more than 1 card–even if it has a different address on it– they also will not issue new vic cards w/o a valid DL — so its only a matter of time before folks start to notice those folks– so don't yall worry now

        • Guest

I think it depends on your HT as well.  I had a HT employee tell me that 1 woman came in this morning at 7 and bought out the entire shelf of the Johnsonville chicken sausage.  So obviously somebody let this one get through.

      • Tagtenn

Our HT really holds firm on only doubling up to 3 like items.   Now on BOGO that means on 6 items.  I think some people still buy additionaly items even if the coupons aren't doubled.   It's a shame really.

      • Mom to Trips

I hear you….so annoying!!!  I went early this morning as well..dropped my 2 year old triplets at a Stay and Play and was all ready to go.  Only to get there and several things be gone already.  I was pissed!!  So much preparing and I missed out : (.  Harris Teeter really needs to get control of this situation.

      • Amy

My sister was at her store at 5:30 and her shelves were already cleared. At 7am checkout there were almost 100 people!

        • Kristen

          Oh my god..

      • stephljones

I find it frustrating also!!! But, I found out, when looking for the Lance cracker deal…that the vendor at my store had only stocked 12…TWELVE…boxes of the crackers!

So, a lot of this is poor planning on the part of many persons.

    • Heathers_147

My Harris Teeter sale paper doesnt have anything Jenny listed on sale. Is anyone else having this problem?

      • EB

This list is the “unadvertised deals” – the ones not in the paper but are on sale based on the online express lane shopping card that Jenny checked  – the other list is the one with all the sales from the paper. Note : Jenny had to pick one particular store to check the express lane online so a few prices may vary for your particular store.

        • guest

Can anyone check the “express lane” for their store and see the deals?  I've never heard of this, how do you do it?

          • EB

Go to Harristeeter.com and click on the “home shopping” link in the middle of the page (it has a logo that says express lane). Find the nearest store to you that does express lane shopping (where you pay a fee and they shop and bag your groceries for you) – not all HT have this available. Once you are on the express lane for that store, you can type your item name into the search bar at the top and it will give you the current price at that store.

    • Lmlogan1

Hi there- Does anyone know what time you can go back to double more coupons ? I needed a couple more items for us, but hit my limit for today! Is it midnight or 7 am?? Thanks all

      • EB

I actually asked this question on HT's facebook wall during triples and they responded and told me it was 7 am.

    • RED

Can you use E-Vic coupons with paper coupons?  Just not sure, so I haven't download any to my card.

      • Chloe's mom

        absolutely!

      • JTaylor

YES!!!  I have done it many times before!

      • Jenjcakes

yes you can, I got free napkings couple of weeks ago, and today I got free wipes staking vic and paper coupons! enjoy! :)

        • RED

          Thanks, I'll start today.

    • julie

I found that half of the stuff listed wasn't on sale.  And for fome reason i can't figure out, every time i try to print ss coupons it says that i have already printed them.  I haven't been able to print one. Any suggestions?

      • Lbagwell

Have a secondary computer, ie a laptop or ipad or something, that is also hooked up to a printer. most sites allow two prints per computer.

      • Amy

It means that there are no more prints for anyone as the prints have been maxed.

      • Jenjcakes

same here!  baileys coffee cremer came ” our record indicate that you already printed this offer”. lier! I haven't!!! lol!

        • Savn2gether

I got the same message for the baileys creamer, and I hadn’t printed any of those coupons! I tried a different computer, and it worked! I was able to print several coupons using different computers.

i't always a good idea to check over the HT add they send to your email –and if Jenny isn't right for your specific area on a few things–i say give her a break!  and be thankful she does this– i have found stores quite close to differ on a few things– also remember to have someone scan item– the sale tag could have just gotten missed– been through that myself!

      • julie

This is my first time.  I am thankful for Jenny's list and that she has done the work for us.  I just didn't know if I was missing something.

    • Kimberly

I looked online at the express lane site for my local store and it lists the French's Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce and Golden Grahams as “On Sale”, but no sale pricing is listed.  Does anyone happen to know if those are actually on sale, and, if so, what the prices are?  Thanks!

      • css03

I found a few items like that and discovered that the everyday price of the item had been lowered.  Light and Fit yogurt had been $2.89 for several weeks and is now back down to $1.89.  It is marked as sale on the express lane, but no sale tag at the store, just a lowered price.

    • Sharon

Got a question.  Can a manfactures coupon for $1 off 2 boxes of Kelloggs cereal be used on ANY Kelloggs cereal??  I have some that are for Raisin Bran…. don't like that one :-).  I want a different Kelloggs cereal.

      • If they say Raisin Bran, they should only be used for Raisin Bran- otherwise the coupon would say ANY Kelloggs cereal.

      • Lblair

Most of the time it will work.  I used a Kelloggs cereal coupon on Poptarts with no problem.

        • Crystal

they would work but that is coupon fraud and it is a federal offense.

      • Shannon

My experience with Harris Teeter is that it CAN be used for any cereal within the brand.

I have a question about SavingStar coupons. I know how they work (being credited into your account rather than taking off a discount at the register) – but I'm not sure about whether or not they are “stackable” with paper coupons. Even if this does work, is it “okay” to do this?… Just wondering. Thanks!

      • sarahinNC

Yes, it's okay, and they do stack with paper coupons and even evic coupons.  You can do all 3 at the same time for one item if you're lucky enough to have all 3.  :)

      • knittern

Yes, they do stack with the coupons. I have had some that were evic, saving star, and manufacture’s coupons. There are some items that I have gotten for free in the store, and then saving star is paying me extra! It just takes forever to see the savings, lol!!

    • CouponFairy

What's with HT not taking coupons for anything in their clearance carts?  There was a bunch of stuff today that would have been free if they'd allow coupons.  Playtex Gentle Glide tampons were marked down to $1.80!  Packs of bandaids were $1.08….etc….

      • Sdanorth

I used my coupons for this deal – but the coupons won't scan because the yellow markdown tag covers the barcode that the coupon matches up to. They have to be entered manually.

        • CouponFairy

Ha!  So the cashier must not have known this…so they DO allow you to use coupons for clearance items?  Did it double for you?

          • Sdanorth

I actually did this last week, before super doubles. Got three packages for something like 1.39 – two tampax and a playtex.
My store is out of the markdown packages now, of course!
Didn't have any trouble using the coupons, though. They didn't even scowl at me. ;)

      • Rugglespv

customer service should have been called to override the register not recognizing the item purchsed since it was a markdown. They should have taken it. Write HT corporate customer service.

      • Tryn 2 Sav

I had purchased something today from the mark down cart. I had a coupon and they just came to over ride it, with no problem.

      • That's not true. I bought tampons form the clearance cart with coupons. They have to manually enter the coupon because the register can't match the marked down sticker withthe coupons. Just ask them to have the c/s rep enter it.

      • JC

It does not make since for the store not to take coupons for clearance items.  It's just free money back to them.

      • Mdavis1205

they take them, the problem is when they have to manually input the price of the clearance item, it removes the bar code somehow, so the coupon no longer has a match. Thise coupons are over ridden by a keyholder there. I buy things out of those baskets all the time. I shop for a shelter so I am always looking for the best deals. Those mark down carts are God send for us.

      Just wanted to add:

I had two printed Garnier $1 off Shampoo or Conditioner.  I got the shampoo and conditioner for $.97 each with my coupons doubled today!  Hurry and get some! :)

    • Ari

someone here knows which day they re-stock  the products?? :( I wanted some napkins and at 8 am they were all goneee! :/ oh and I'm in Charlotte,NC by the way :)

    • CouponFairy

If anyone recv'd the Frosted Mini Wheats Touch of Fruit in the Middle sample and coupons…those $1 off one box makes them free this week!  Got three boxes today!

      • CouponFairy

        From Vocal Point.

    • Kim Thmsn

I'm in Charlotte as well, I have no idea what is going on this time, but it is crazy!  The store was packed at 7am this morning.  They are running out of many items already….napkins, reynolds wrap, lysol cleaners, yogurt…etc.  They restock Saturday mornings in Weddington, Sun Valley and Matthews, I don't know about any others.

      • Kristen

I'm in Cary… I got there around 8:15 and the napkins & crackers were wiped out.. lol

        • cj

I'm in Cary too and I got to the store at 6:30am yesterday – there were only 2 of us in the store and there were only 2 boxes of lance crackers available. I think some items are just not stocked prior to the sales and not necessarily gone because of the early bird shoppers like me.

          • Kristen

Dang.. I dunno which store you were at, but either way that sucks. I hope they re-stock soon and that it lasts long enough for us to catch it! lol

          • I went to the Tryon Town store in Cary Wednesday morning and there were close to 10 couponers there around 6:45! They were out of napkins- and I couldn't find the crackers. May try again in the next few days. I love that store- they are really coupon friendly!!

            • Neet

Out of napkins and the pancake mix at both Skeet Club and Friendly here in Greensboro, NC.

      • savinmavin

Do you know if this includes the Westly Chapel store? What time does HT open on Sat.? Thanks.

    • Kylie

Does anyone know when the HTs in Charlotte restock?

      • guest

Just ask at cus service, they will tell you.

      • We get trucks in on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

        • Ari

yes one guy there at HT told me that store will get truck on friday but they restock the same day or until saturday, you know???

    • Yankeegirl125

FYI – HT at Homestead Market (in Durham) is now SUPER strict about their coupons… my cashier tonight went through all of my Q's and sorted the ones that said “do not double” on them into a separate pile and REFUSED to scan them in (even though all started with a 5). she called over a customer service person who then manually entered in the coupons so they wouldn't double. they said supposedly this has been like this for over a month… total BS because i was there last week and they doubled my coupons.

      • Yankeegirl125

oops sorry I meant to say Hope Valley Commons in Durham (not Homestead Market)!

        • Guest

Yankeegirl125, The stores in Chapel Hill seem to be fine, if you can drive the extra 10 minutes or so. I went to the HT in Carrboro today & another HT in CH yesterday–all the DNDs did, in fact, double.

      • Littletinkerbell

A month ago my HT said they were made to sign a paper saying they would uphold the coupon policy and that was on it.  But she also said she didnt know how not to double the coupons so she wouldnt inforce it.  I guess it will still be by cashier discression but it thier policy now.

      • Kat

The HT in (Steele Creek) Charlotte will not double coupons that say do not double either.  I did call corp office and they said that yes that is their coupon policy.  :(

      • Angelascoupons1

That really stinks for you guys!  I feel your pain.  Are there other HTs that you can go to that are not so strict?

      • knittern

my HT has always done that. I think it is to prevent the computer from accidentally doubling coupons that are not to be doubled. I usually go through them and make sure I tell the cashier which ones do not double, but I try to not cheat or not play fair. I prefer that, than for them to change their policy!

    • Jam5az

I got 139.87 for 20.98!!!  So excited! 1/1 fresh express printable salad q makes for $1 salads if you printed it!!  It was available a few weeks ago and I think is gone now.

      • CouponFairy

How are people saving this much?  If you can only double 20 coupons per day, the MOST you would save is $60.  Are you adding two days totals?  Or prices before sales?

        • I got $140 worth for $44, but a lot of my stuff was BOGO and I had a coupon when you bought two.  Technically, I was buying two.  I also got a few things that I didn't have coupons for.  Eggs and cheese.  I think I ended up with 24 items.

          • CouponFairy

            Good deal!

    • Kylie

      Question…

I have several Smart Balance Milk coupons and I really need to stock up with the super doubles. If I go to Harris Teeter in Charlotte by my work and buy 3, could I then go to Harris Teeter in Shelby by my house and get 3 more in the same day? or will I have to wait until the next day..

I know you can only double 20 a day, but am a newbie, so I am unsure if they actually track the 3 like coupons on a daily basis as well.

      • Littletinkerbell

I am pretty sure it is 3 like coupons per transaction, so you could actually do transactions back to back.

        • Angelascoupons1

Not so…it is per day.  Sorry…

      • guest

I think it is per Vic card in 24 hrs

      • JC

OFFICIAL – from Harris Teeter Coupon Policy dated 6/19/11″We accept 20 double coupons
per day per customer/household with VIC card; all others redeemed at
face value. No orders may be separated that would allow the 20 coupon
limit or any other coupon limits to be exceeded.”*****************So while I think you can separate the order to do more than 3 like items – you still can't exceed the 20 coupon limit if you want them to double.

        • guest

“…or any other coupon limits to be exceeded” The policy is quite clear. You can NOT use more than 3 like coups a day – you can not separate the order to do ao – this wouyld be “exceeding”thelimits in the policy.

      • Mdavis1205

as long as you don't use 20 coupons in your first trip, you can go to another HT and use the balance. For instance 10 in your first store and then 10 at the next. You are only allowed 20 per day. Your first store will not allow you to split your orders but you can you leave the sore and come back. Everyone says you can not get back in the line, but you can. you are allowed to re enter the store.  As long as you are not trying to cheat the system by using someone elese's card, you can you up tp the coupon limit for the day.

    • Aoberson854

In the Florence Sc area the House of Autrey batter is $2.49 not B1G1…. Went to Harris Teeter this am at 10 and the shelves were cleaned off… The Manager said they get a truck everyday this week so We wil see if they restock items…

    • Tfpost1977

Has anyone else had any problem with $1 coupons NOT doubling (and they do NOT say, “DO NOT DOUBLE”)?  I had several coupons tonight that didn't double and no one had any explanation.  Because it was so late and customer service was closed, I completed my transaction, they set aside my coupons w/ my name & contact info, and was told to come back tomorrow to debate the issue with customer service…ugggh, what a hassle!

      • Guest

Did they begin with a “9” instead of a “5”?

        • Tfpost1977

They all began with “5”…for ex., scanned $1.00, multiplied $0.67….or scanned $1.00, multiplied $0.97…there were several that did this

          • Tfpost1977

There was no apparent reason why this was happening.  All of my items were as specified on the coupons too.  The cashier and night manager were just as baffled as me.

            • Kristen

It sounds like, to me, that the items you bought cost a little less than the amount of the coupon multiplied. For example something costs $1.67 and you used a dollar off coupon so it took of the $1 scanned then $.67 multiplied. The value adjusts because HT doesn't allow overage (unless it's an eVIC coupon.. so I hear). I hope that helps… Let us know what they say

          • Lovelivelaugh716

That is how it works.. they don't give overage.. the product was probably $1.67.. or $1.97 then

      • Sigaduro

I had an issue with a Revlon Nail Polish $1 off coupon, but the manager said that cosmetics normally have issues with not doubling???? Never heard this before but she did override it and double it anyhow. didn't say do not double or start with a 5 or 9. New one for me!

    • Rock2008

      I GOOFED !

I was first on line to check out at 7AM yesterday morning. The line was a mile long. Alot of distraction, people chatting, manager tested my first coupon just to make sure it would double, etc.

I had 20 coupons but 2 were rejected (MY mistake)…..so I put my groceries in the car, ran back in, bought 2 more items and quickly went thru the Express Lane.

I didn't look at my receipt until I got home. The first transaction only showed 17 coupons so the cashier neglected to swipe one. The store is 20 miles away, not worth the gas to return.

Please remember to look at your receipt BEFORE you leave the store, no matter how busy and hectic things are.

      • I don't have to do that since I use a specially designed spreadsheet that tells me my exact total so if it doesn't match up I know immediately BEFORE paying :)

        • Would love to see that spreadsheet!!

        • Kristen

How do you do manage that?? lol… Every time I go in prices vary… things aren't on sale… things are out of stock… etc. I end up having to adjust my plan 8,000 times so I never know exactly how much I'm going to be paying

          • EB

I agree, planning a full trip exactly ahead of time would be a waist of my time, but I do often keep a calculator and add up my total as I go along, by figuring out what the cost is going to be after coupon and adding it to my total as I put stuff in my cart. That way I can know what to expect at the checkout and can catch it if things are not correct.

          • Germaine Jenkins

Great point! I finally started taking 40 qs just in case. Now even if they're out of stock, I can be sure to use 20 coupons (and claim the rain checks for the out of stock items).

To avoid burnout and save printer ink, I started cutting out the relevant q's and using them as my 'portable shopping list.' While shopping I do make note of any clearance items and other deals to prepare for my next trip.

I'm not organized enough to do a spreadsheet – hats off to you moolahsavingmom and couponfairy! To be honest, I just let the coupon inserts pile up and organize them just ahead of a super doubles week.

        • CouponFairy

I definitely do that too.  I know exactly what my total should be so I know if all the coupons go through.  My first trip during triples, they didn't swipe 4 coupons which made almost a ten dollar difference in my total so it adds up!

        • Rock2008

Wow, that's great although I have no clue how to do that, but I buy meat so I could never really know the exact total anyway.

      • Rock2008

UPDATE: I went again this morning with my receipts and showed the manager how one of my coupons neglected to swipe. I explained the 20 mile drive too.

They allowed me to double 21 coupons today to make up for the one missed yesterday…..the manager had to do an override for the extra coupon.

I'm glad they were receptive to my dilemma.

    • amy

I went to my local Mt. Pleasant, SC Harris Teeter last night and did great! The onlly problem was that the Domino sugar is NOT $2.99 b1g1. It's $2.99 for one bag. Has anyone else run into this problem?

      • Tepie

Yes, I found the same  thing.

      • Amy

Same at West Ashley, SC location.

      • Kristen

        Yes! :(

      • Rock2008

I also went for the B1G1 Domino Sugar. Customer Service called their corporate office who said is it NOT on B1G1 this week. It is $2.99 on sale if you have a Vic card.

      • knittern

me too…don't know where the sugar was suppose to be BOGO…

    • Di

I just went specifically for Domino sugar since they were out yesterday (first day of sale and early) and found the same thing. $2.99 and not B1G1. Wasted trip!

    • Brooke

Went yesterday at 6:45 and there were no bounty napkins on the shelves which I found odd considering no one could check out until 7. Also, went again this morning and same thing and the associates were just starting to stock shelves. The manager of this store needs to get involved with couponing so he can order more of specific items.

      • I agree!  I have offered several times to tell them what they will be out of but they don't listen :)

        • Brooke

Same here. I even joked with one of the managers I was asking about their shipments this week and I said “hey you should get into couponing and order according to what coupons are out” BUT he wasn't having it lol.

      • The $1.99 pack were free as soon as the $1/1 coupon came out in PG 6/5 and the $1 e-vic coupon was activated. I think a lot of people bought them up at that time. Super Doubles would have been an even better deal- but my store has been out for a while…. I got the $3.79 pack paired with the $1 coupon doubled- made it $1.79 then $1 evic coupon came off.. Thought .79 was still a good price.

      • Rock2008

I was the 2nd person to arrive yesterday morning and the Bounty napkin shelf was EMPTY at 5AM !! But right next to it, was a large laundry basket and something out of the corner of my eye caught my attention. I moved the basket, lo and behold, 4 packages of the napkins !

Maybe someone hid them behind the big basket the night before????

I took 2 and gave the other 2 to the only other person in the store at that time. Went back today, they still haven't restocked and both yesterday and today, NO Lance crackers. GRRRRRR

        • Sdanorth

LOL! I found some frozen clearance items (that we all have q's for) hidden behind a different product today! Those items are in MY freezer now!

          • Rock2008

AH HA, now I know where and why all the frozen clearance shelves were empty today except for one ! Good for you to hop on them ! By the way, the only frozen clearance item left was some kind of hot pepper thing…no wonder there were plenty of those, LOL, hope you were able to get the clearance items with a coupon for even more savings !

        • knittern

At my HT they had removed all of the $1.99 packs and replaced them with more expensive, larger size napkins.

        • RLoving1

My store in Shelby is still out of the napkins, too – but I lucked out this morning and got there right after they had re-stocked the crackers. I might try again in a few days for the napkins…

    • Amylynnherndon

After reading several of the comments below, I am realizing that I'm extremely lucky! First, we have 11 Harris Teeters within a 30 minute radius of our house. Second, I have found THE IDEAL store to go to! We live in a beach community and right near the Oceanfront it is all either tourists or extremely wealthy locals, neither of whom seem to use coupons. That being said, the shelves are always stocked with all of the sale items and I've never had an issue finding what I need. They are always very shocked when I have a zero or negative balance and don't know what to do..so I'm assuming they get very few couponers at their store. I lucked out bigtime!!

      • CouponFairy

LOL we might be shopping at the same store!  You in VB?

      • knittern

I just got back from the beach, and I wanted to stop at the HT before I left, because I was thinking it would be great…the kids were not going to let me go though!

        • CouponFairy

If it's VB Amy and you are referring to, then you didn't miss out.  You only score the deals if you are there bright and early on the first day.  This store is heavy with couponers and all the sale items go right away the first day.  This store also plays games, they figure out which items go the first day and then they do not restock those items until the day after super doubles/triples is done.

          • knittern

Why does that not surprise me? At my store they were stocking the whole time I was shopping today. The store was super crazy though! I shop at HT all the time, so when they do these sales, I find that I don't do as well, there are just a few items that it is worth stocking up on, but for the most part, if you combine there sales and their normal coupon policy I make out better.

            • CouponFairy

Yeah pretty disappointing, I usually get what I need because I go the first day…but during triples since I live right by the ocean front HT, I went every stocking night at 3:30am and looked at every box in every aisle to see what they were stocking and it was NONE of the items that were free.  Went the Wednesday morning AFTER the triples event and what do you know!  Frank's red hot galore!  LOL.  Along with every other item that was free.

            • Merri

yeah my HT told me people stand outside the store and wait for it to open to get all the free items. I normally go on the first day of the sale on my luch break nd normally everything is gone. I have found that sometimes the items reappear on sunday morning. Disapointing.

      • LeahinNC

grrrrrr jk .. thats great …i am glad that even live close to ONE ..we have people driving 40 minutes away ..with gas prices ..i hope they planned well…our store is EMPTY of all free items within the first 2 hours of the first day of the sale..BUT ..i have read closely the $1.25 off waverly paperplates coupon….it also covers HEFTLY napkins and cups .. hefty cups on sale!!!! check the first 5 numbers on the left side of the barcode of the coupons ..they have to match the ones on the cups! good luck

    • Frugal4eva

Anyone have Biltmore Dressing Coupons they'd like to trade?  Thanks!  SS 4/17
      Frugal4eva@yahoo.com

      • knittern

On ebay  I saw a few of these, most people are quick to mail out, but you better make sure in the listing about how fast they ship them:-)

    • Blamurray

Anyone have B1G1 Pedigree canned dog food coupons they would like to trade for? Contact info:blamurray@yahoo.com  Insert: 6/19 RP I'm in Raleigh, NC

      Thanks! :)

    • MomOf4

Just a couple more…7th Generations Tissues are on sale for $1.50, if you have a .50 Q, they are 50 cents each.  Also, the single serve Tide packs (in the trial isle) are $1 each, you can use the $1/2 from the P&G insert, which makes them free, plus there is a .35 eVIC off off one.  So, you are paid .35 to buy 4 single packs :)

    • Couponclippingmom2011

back from HT, pretty good trip for someone new to couponing ( I think anyway) Spent 30.26 saved 78.09. Some deals I got/coupons I used.
$1 of 4 cans of Alpo (printed from Alpo site) Alpo is on sale for 75 cents. After the coupon doubles you pay 25 cents per can.
Lysol toilet cleaner bogo coupon for $1 off two, makes it .99 cents for 2
Minute steamers are on sale for 2.50, I had a dollor off coupon making it .50

    • Bakers_family

Went to HT last night and our Domino sugar in NOT BYGO. It is in sale for $2.99

      • knittern

same here! also they went up on the bounty napkins to 3.58, so they are not free. I was saving my $1off so that i could get those. but did get the mini wheats for $1/box.

        • EbonyB

Make sure you are looking at the right napkins…its the 100 count that are $1.99…the bigger pack is $3.58 in my store….

    • Michaelsmom

Don't know if you guys/gals are aware, but the Tom's soap just went on sale 2 for $4 (or at least in my area VA), if you have the $1 off coupon….it's FREE :-)  Also, the Folgers coffee 10+oz is normally $4.59, w/VIC it becomes $2.99 and with the $1 off Facebook coupon it brings it down to .99, which I thought was an awesome deal.  Could only manage to find (3) of the kids cuisine's at (2) stores, so I'm now done looking  (I did get 3 free thought).  Thank you Jenny so much for your amazing site and all the work you put in to it…….for all of us!

      • Mandjgrimsley

How do you get the folger's q and I was not successful at the kids cuisine one when following the link.  Input please.

        • Michaelsmom

The folgers coupon I scored on facebook by clicking “like”, then I scrolled down their “wall” and just kept looking and looking…….sure enough I saw a comment that said “don’t worry, there is still time to get your $1.00 coupon”, it is for the “dark silk”, but hey, to have a .99 back up coffee in the house, you can’t beat it.  The kid’s cuisine………..well, I looked in 2 stores, both only had the “mac n cheese” and spaghetti and meatball” dinners on .99 (clearance) and the one store only had 3 left, so I grabbed them.  I called the store and asked about the item being on clearance and they said that they are probably being discontinued.  Hope this helps.

    • Ibdqt34

Just wanted to say – I'm SO excited! Heading to HT after work (T-minus 80 minutes)! I only 14 coupons (I'm a first timer so I don't have a large coupon stock)!!! Plus, if there are other 'deals' I'm leaving a little room for them. :-)

I hope I'm not disappointed. I've been driving myself coupon crazy for the past 3 days!!!

      • Ibdqt34

I hit the HT in Durham, NC. They were out of a few things but thanks to you, I asked for rain checks!!!

This was my first coupon shopping trip so I was excited and bummed at the same time. Excited to actually being prepared and to saving money. Bummed because some of the deals weren't going on in my store (Buttoni, Kotex tampons, sara lee deli meat, etc.)

Here's the results: Gross: $54.76. Savings: vic and coupons: 33.33. I paid: 22.86!!

It was definitely a positive shopping experience. I had coupons for everything except 5 items. 2 were my husband telling me to get at the last minute! 4/5 were all on sale at least!

Thanks Jenny and to all of you!!

        • anthena

          congrats!!! yay you! :-0

        • Deb

Go Durham!  I’m in Fayetteville with only 1 HT.  I like visiting other HT’s in northern Ral.  The varying distribution amazes me.  I can’t wait ’til we get our HT in Spout Springs (Harnette county) and Hope Mills (southern cumberland cty).  I know it’ll be a couple of years:(

      • anthena

omg, its an addiction, for sure. before i knew i had bought a deep freeze and now we have plans to build a huge shelf.. but its fuuuun!!

    • savinmavin

Since I have a BOGO free coupon one the Fruit in the Middle Mini Wheats can I use this on the one not free with the BOGO HT deal?

      • CouponFairy

Each item rings up half so it won't work.  But do you have the other three coupons for $1 off one box?  That makes them free this week!

      • anthena

you could but it wont do any good, its a double negative if you will lol try to find an off one coupon, they will do the best since you can now use two single coupons off a bogo deal meaning two coupons on one sale

      • Jencolburn

I bought 5 boxes at $1.99 and used the BOGO coupon and 3 $1/1 coupons.  Paid $1.99 for all 5 boxes.

    • Zyler9999

If I go into HT, and have overage on a q, will they apply that towards my total order?

      • CouponFairy

They say no overages…but my totals always come out to negative or much cheaper than I planned, so yes, some overages slip through but I would never bank on it.

      • anthena

prob not, they are sticklers… but, maybe but prob not

    • alicia

eh-hem……HOW am i suppose to get the kids cuisine frozen dinner…………i feel stupid for not being able to figure it out..lol

      • Tventim

they are doubling coupons up to 1.98 this week so the coupon would double to 2.00 and they are .99 each so 2 would be 1.98 making it free with the doubled 1.00Q. HTH

        • Mela1055

My Harris Teeter didn't show the Kids Cuisine at being on sale… they were normal price

          • Brian Y.

The only one I found that this would have worked on was one that was on clearance.

    • Jamdr2002

Hit Harris Teeter today, Thursday as it is also “senior” discount day…the shelves that were most empty  was on the new crackers by Nabisco but  the coupon wasn't in my flier. Not that many people in the store today, so checkout time quite fast. I had 18 coupons. The only problem I had was with my hubby that loves to go with me, but always sees something he “needs”…I had $135.00 in coupons today..and my gross amount came to over $200+ with using my vic card, senior discount we paid just $83.00 which included tax (and a few items he absolutely needed)! I am pretty happy..

      • what store do u shop @ if u dont mind?

      • Angelas001

I try to avoid taking my husband now that I coupon- he impulse buys and I always get mad, lol. I tell him all he has to do is put it on our list at home, but he says he doesn't know until he sees it. And at that point it's in front of him and of course he thinks he needs to just get it right then. And to do that in the most expensive store-HT- just kills me! I only shop there for a few deals.

        • Erica

Ha, Ha. This sounds all to familiar :) My husband is the same way!

    • Lnipaver

I have coupons for $1 off the Babybel cheese wedges, I have a bunch that babybel sent us at work. They are on sale for $2, so they are free. Can I use 3 coupons and my husband use 3 coupons at a different store in one day?

      • Sillysnicks

        yes

      • guest

only if you have 2 different vic numbers – if you have 1 card, you are limited by the HT policy.

      • anthena

absolutely! in Va you can put your man in a sep. line and use 3 each

    • Lyddiejay

Did my weekly shopping today at HT.  Had to have meat because I haven't shopped in a few weeks for very much.  (Out of town last week).  Got $25 in discounted meat.  Even with all that I still spent a total of $74 OOP.  I saved $66.  I'm thrilled.  I had 1 money maker deal I haven't seen posted.  In April there were little boxes of Honey Bunches of Oats in Old Navy.  On the back of box was a coupon for any variety for $1.25 off.  The Honey Bunches were 2 for $4.00 so I actually made .50 on each box. Woopee.  If any body got those coupons look for this deal.

      • Mela1055

You cannot make money at HT… they will not give overrage… just take money off up until the amount of the product.

        • CouponFairy

Not true.  Some slips by…I have had totals in the negative.

        • Guest

for the most part that is true HT does not give overage but i have had it happen once or twice – some coupons just not coded right or something i dont really know what happened

          • Amy

I have gotten “overage” in the past, and this is how:
A two SD events ago, there were $1.00/1 Muellers pasta coupons.  If I had gotten three boxes of spaghetti at $1.00 each, my coupon would not have doubled, but without planning, my total Muellers purchase came to $6.00 because I bought two lasagnas at $2.50 and one spaghetti at $1.00.  They all doubled.  I tried it again the next day by buying $5.25 worth, and two doubled and one multiplied coupon was  $.25 cents.  So, I think it adds up the cost of the coupon items and goes from there.

            • Tina

I actually know the answer to this! It all depends if the cashier hits total before they ring the coupons. I have been in twice this week. The first time the cashier didn’t hit total, and I got overages. The second time the cashier totaled everything out and then did coupons and no overage!

        • LeahinNC

yes im just realizing they have changed things .. I thought I had 2 good money makers in health/beauty section and instead of multiplying my $1 coupon ..it said it scanned the $1 and multiplied 9 cents ..and i was only buying the items to get the overage off my other items .. its depressing that I cannot get the savings I see on tv :(

    • Awadreamer

does anyone now how often coupons can be printed after printing the two allowed?

      • anthena

last time i tried to re-collect on a deal, i had to wait like two plus months

      • christa

it varies as to when they are reset

    • Rin

Will coupons printed at the register double? Example: a 0.60 off a sunkist 2 liter?

      • guest

Read the fine print to the right. Usually the print offs do not double.  It says this on the top right.

      • Jamdr2002

No, according to HT the coupons printed at the cash register do not double…they call them “free coupons”…but you can use one of their register coupons in addition to a manufacturers coupons on the same item(s). Hope this helps?

        • anthena

they call em Catalinas… isn't that dressing?? lol

        • Margoren

I thought catalinas were also manufacturer coupons (that's probably the case on the sunkist). So how can you use a paper or IP manufacturer with a manufacturer catalina?
          Thanks!

      • anthena

as long as it's not stated on coupon, you can, yeah!!!

    • Dawn Prince-Cohee

I just got an email from Chinet with a $1 coupon. If you are already
signed up with them, check whichever account. If not, register and see
      if you get one!

    • Mywolfcubs3

I went on Tuesday around noon to 1. A lot of items on my list was sold completely out!! Bummer!! I had to rethink it a little and though I did not get as much savings as I was wanting I still think I did pretty good. Im new at this. My retail value was $69.00 and I walked out paying 14.39. Was expecting to get the bounty napkins free as well as the lance crackers. Went back today and they up the price!!

      • Mywolfcubs3

Oh and got $4 in catalinas

    • Tdallen0113

Not a happy HT camper this week! Went today…just day 2 of the sale….everything was sold out & what wasn't sold out was priced higher than what was listed here.  Very frustrated in Greenville, NC!

      • Sparklecat2009

So odd……went today and they had plenty of most everything. Must have restocked.

        • Sue

they were restocking last night at bells fork at 12 midnight when i was there last night, and everything was still flying off the shelf ..crazy, almost everyone had a coupon binder there that i saw.. this could be why :$

      • Mommysauls

I am here too and agree!

      • Pirate!!!

They restocked the Bell's Fork store this AM. Most everything was in stock. I was over there without coupons and was just curious to see what was available. By this evening lots of things were gone. Saturday morning, the store is usually well-stocked.

    • Woodieamy58

that domino sugar was not on sale for 2.99 or buy 1 get 1 free.  i was really looking forward to that deal too.

    • Cglisson05

Is there any way around the “limit 3”? Can i split transactions?

      • Nita Royal

not in the same day. . . your transactions are tracked by your card

    • Eliza-K

Can someone please explain to me how you can get a zero to negative balance? I always have to pay taxes and just cannot seem to do it. Also, I had a cashier at HT tell me a lady got almost $400.00 and paid less than $7.00. She made several trips to her car back and forth. I thought that was not allowed. He just shrugged his shoulders. Any help on the zero to negative balance is very much appreciated or at least a scenario of how one does it. Thanks so much.

      • CouponFairy

I plan my first trip to get every item that would come out to free.  They say that they do not do overages, but my totals have come to negative balances because sometimes a little overage slips through even though it's not supposed to.  I then spend the rest of the coupon days going back for the items that aren't necessarily free, but cheap and good deals.  Some people may not even notice that some overage is slipping through because they don't calculate what their total should be after coupons.  But for examples, on the second day my boyfriend went and we calculated his total to be $8.81 and it came out to $8.51 after taxes…so somewhere in there overage slipped through.  I never bank on that though, and sometimes it actually is bothersome because if your total is negative you have to buy something, so I grab a candy bar that I normally wouldn't want to buy.

      • mamabelbel

evic coupons!  I went in the negative the other day because I forgot about an evic coupon that I had saved on an item that was already free with a coupon.  The ecoupons come off if you buy the right product regardless of what you pay (or don't pay) for the product!  Also, for some reason when I used the $1 off any Always Pad on the small pack of liners that are 1.39 I think, the coupon doubled to the full $2.  Don't know why but I made .61 to bring those liners home.  Happens once in a while but you can't count on it.

    • Brooke

A lot of the stuff was sold out on my list, however, I found a bunch of pads/tampons on clearance. With coupons, I ended up getting 2 big boxes of tampax pearl (54 count), 3 boxes of playtex gentle glide (18 ct), 2 kotex pantiliners, 2 kotex pads and one stayfree pad for 5.97! They literally had 4 buggies full of feminine products! I may have not gotten all the other stuff I wanted but atleast I have enough of this to last all year!!

    • CdFox10

HT doesn't normally double internet coupons but I noticed that your listings above show them doubling. Are they doubling print off coupons this week?

      • Cglisson05

The doubled the ones I printed.

        • Cdfox10

Oh my.. I'm so silly. I just looked back over the coupon policies and they do double them. This whole time I thought they didn't. Looks like I'm getting more deals.

    • Samadio

Does anyone know where I can get kraft family booklets ?

    • Tiffanypet11

Wasn't sure if anyone had the CUTTER 1.50  coupon, but if you do my HT had a pocket size mosiquito spray for 2.99 (not on sale) but with the coupon I got them FREE! Also the band aid coupons were good in the travel section and got those free too. First trip wasn't bad..spen $10 and saved $45.

      • CouponFairy

Yeah that Cutter was a good deal!  I was in desperate need of bug spray too LOL.  I only had 1 coupon for $1.50 I wish I had more!

      • savinmavin

Definetly got this one, son is headed off to camp next week and he needed this and some of the snacks.

    • Tgmorris

I know I've seen a TIDE coupon. Anyone know where it is? It's an E-VIC. Thanks!

      • susansaver

There's a $1 off Tide Q in the $110 P&G Coupon Book if you have that.  Expires 6/30

      • Marlene

P&G 6/05 has one for 35cents that will double to 70cents, plus check your EVIC coupons you should be able to save a 35cent coupon to your card – total = $1.05 off the EVIC price

    • Marthavan

Question…Can you use a BOGO coupon on a BOGO at Harris Teeter? It's not in the coupon policy

      • Ijessica_R

I would think so. Never tried it, but as long as the items are ringing up at half price I don't see why not =P

        • mamabelbel

I did it several months ago on Steamfresh veggies.  They were BOGO and I had 3 BOGO coupons.  Got 6 bags for $0.  Only time I have tried this at HT.  Had absolutely no issues with it.  The cashier didn't even give them a second look.  However, I have had cashiers that are fussier about much less though.

          • yes but at harris teeter they will charge you 1/2 price of 1 but you get 2 items.  Unlike drug stores were you get both free

      • Angelascoupons1

Have done this many times at drug stores…Bogos on Bogos generally result in free.

    • Daylog

ok, just got back from ht – i have spent $125 in the last 3 days and got $ 345 worth of groceries….. i am tickled pink….. but, the glad trash bags with febreeze was 9 – 1evic making it 8 – i had a 1 coup making it 6 now i also had a harris teeter coup for 2 withi should have made it 4 and it didnt…they said u cannot combine ht coup with a manu coup… last week i did it and the manager said i could…. they really need to stick to one rule………….

      • Margoren

Was the HT coupon a store coupon or a manufacturer?

      • Ashley

I tried yesterday and today to use a HT coupon and a manu coupon and I was told I coulnd't combine them :( I thought you could use a store coupon and manu coupon or maybe that is just at Target you can.

        • EB

To my knowledge, HT does not have store coupons that could stack with a man. coupon. All the ones I have ever gotten are actually manufacturer coupons that have the HT logo printed on them. Check what it says at the top.

          • css03

I have received HT store coupons in the mail a few times over the past couple of months, cooking cremes, kraft cheese, cracker barrel cheese.

      • Nita Royal

If you're referring to the coupons that print at the HT register, everyone I've ever gotten says “manufacturer's coupon”, even though it also prints the HT logo.  So I've never tried to combine them, as they will not double (even though a manager said they would.)  So if you were allowed to use both one time, it was just a lucky break.

      • Sparklecat2009

It is my understanding that HT will only allow you to combine the evic q's with paper q's.

    • Margoren

In VA Harris Teeter Macaroni & Cheese dinner Reg. $.69 on sale B1G1 ($.35 each)

    • Cheryl

I received an evic savings alert today for 50% off Banana Boat products. The BB sunblock cream was on sale for $7.99. Half off was $3.99, and I used a $1 off coupon which doubled, so got the full size tube for $1.99.

      • Ibdqt34

How did you get an evic savings alert? I'm registered for evic but I didn't get anything.

I bought the BB for $7.99 and used my $1 q but paid $5.99. It was a good deal but am definitely jealous of your awesome deal!!

        • Cheryl

Did you go to their website and register? I think I did that on top of just having the card. My friend received the same discount though…so not sure if it is valid for everyone or just targeted to certain users??

          • Cheryl

I think Rite Aid has a good deal on sunscreen either this week or next (even better than $1.99).

        • Julliej

you have to be registered for the E-alerts to get that price. You can try to do it online or you can go to CS for them to add your email address

      • Julliej

same here, what a great price

    • Ashley

I just got home from HT…bought two 30.4 ounce orange flavor Metamucil for $0.00. Store has them listed as $13.99 each…online shopping cart for HT has listed for $0.70 each. Coupon online for $1.00 off and also EVIC coupon available! Manager had to research the price and ended up giving it to me. She said they are working at removing if from the shop at home option. Get out there and get it while you can :)

    • Rosa

Does HT price match? For example if they have a sale at Kroger for the Powerade. If you buy 10 and use the $1.00 off 5 coupon? They are $1.89 at HT with buy 1 get 1 free.

      • Julliej

I'm not sure if they price match, but I got 10 with the b1g1 free and they took both of my $1 off coupon and doubled them making the price $5.45 for 10

      • Guest

        No, HT does not price-match.

    • CouponFairy

Just a reminder for those with Keurigs again…the Millstone kcups are on sale for $6.99 and if you still have your $1.50 off any Millstone product coupons that came in last month's inserts and was printable online, you can get these kcup packs for only $3.99!  Great deal as Kcups are so pricey!

    • CouponFairy

Also, if you printed the $1 off Nabisco Wheat Thin Stix facebook coupon…those are $1.94 right now at HT making them free with the coupon!

    • aperture

Breakstone's Zesty Blends Sour Cream is on sale through 6/28 for $1.89 and there's a $1/1 in 6/19's SS.  (sorry if this has been mentioned before!!) :)

    • Missyba

I just got back from HT in Greensboro, NC…hardly any of the prices in the store match Jenny's listed deals. Does the region make a difference??

      • CouponFairy

Yes it sure does, I'm in VA and the prices are higher than what's listed, I just double check on their Express Lane on the website, it allows you to pick your store and check prices.  The prices differ, but are still close enough that with most coupons you still get the items free/cheap.

        • Missyba

          Thanks!! =)

        • Michaelsmom

I'm in VA too and have noticed the same thing, however like you said, items are still pretty cheap if not free.  The only thing that stinks is when there is an item on sale and with the coupon it's free, then to get to the store and it's not on sale there or they don't carry that item.  I have had that happen several times already, but have stared to check the prices as well on the “Express Lane”.

    • Jawaraomalara

Wow I'm so excited! First time shopping Harris Teeter since I'm new to the South. I got $300 worth of food for only $170!!! Thanks so much for your wonderful site!!!!

    • Michaelsmom

Can I ask anyone a question about B1G1……….If you have a B1G1 for $3.99 and (2) coupons for $1 each  and the store is doubling………do you mean to tell me that you can use both coupons to make both items FREE on a B1G1?????

    • Imnew

hi im new here, anyone want to share info on rainchecks? Do you have to tell them you have a coupon when asking for a raincheck? Thanks

      • Michaelsmom

You just have to tell them what item, the price (which I would think they would verify) and how many.  They are only giving you the item at the price it was on sale for.  If you have a coupon for an example $1 and during super doubles they double it, well, if you can't get the item until after the sale (because they are out of stock), then you will only get $1 off (not doubled).  They aren't going to give you the double on the coupon as well.  The raincheck is on the sale price, not the coupon if that makes sense.  I hope I explained it well.  Now, some stores like Farm Fresh dould coupons up to $1 on Wednesdays, however HT doubles coupons everyday (up to 20) for coupons up to .98.

        • mahutch

The last super double I asked the manager that issued the RC if they will honor at the sale price AND the super double the coupon. Surprisingly, she said yes and I had her initial the RC. Doesn't hurt to ask…I will next time they're out of stock.

        • Imnew

thanks michaelsmom! that helped a lot!  im going to just ask, couldnt hurt, thanks for the suggestion mahutch! :)

      • Julliej

you don't have to tell them you have a coupon. You just ask for a raincheck. When you are ready to redeem your RC that is when you give them your coupons

    • Michaelsmom

I have another question…….does anyone know about the Pedigree dog food B1G1?  On HT's website (express shopping) it shows $8.99 B1G1, so I thought you B1 @$8.99 and you get 1 free, but now I'm not so sure.  I see that the 20 lb bags are $18.99 normally, which is outrageous, especially when you can get the 33 or 40lb for about $16 normally at Walmart.  The store honored it anyway, but I just want to understand where I misunderstood and furthermore, why HT lists the price the way they do online…….very misleading.

      • Julliej

I always print out what I see on the website(if it's your preferred store) and take it to the store so they can give me the price from the website. Not everyone is eligible for the deep discounted price that is why they don't advertise it with the special price. Everyone should register for E-alerts if not they are missing out.

    • Wendyk28054

My Harris Teeter in Gastonia did not have the Starbucks on sale :(

    • Tyedyemomma

I am so glad I asked then when they restocked!! I was able to get all the freebie's this morning bright and early!!!

      • hahewlet

I asked when the next truck was coming in at my HT and went in bright and early the next morning. None the the freebies that were regular price were restocked. I couldn't get a rain check because there weren't on sale. Very disappointed.

    • New2NC

Thanks for all your wonderful help here!  I'm new to this little “game,” and yet I just knocked $77 off our bill, and only paid $88.  My husband went with me, and is still grinning from ear to ear.

      • Yazpistachio

Good for you! You are likely to do even better with practice.

    • Lgacgoodman

I am new to this couponing.  I shopped at HT this week with my coupons and saved over 50% however when buying an item that my coupon was $1 off when I buy 2 I tried to use 2 coupons. The cashier said I couldn't do thisbut the register accepted one set of coupons my hotdogs but for another item I was buying. Which is correct?  Also, can I use 2 coupons on a BOGO free item to double my savings?

      • Lgacgoodman

sorry… for my hot dogs but NOT for another item I was buying.

      • Kaki

I'm not sure I'm understanding you but if you were using a coupon for $1 off two items, you could only use one coupon for the two items.

You can use two coupons for BOGO items.

      • Amanda_vols

You would have to buy 4 items to use 2 $1 off of 2 coupons.

      • mamabelbel

If the coupon specifies a number of items you must by, then the coupon covers all those items and you can't add additional manufacturer coupons. I had one go through before when I gave them an extra coupon by accident but that is not the correct way and you got lucky if that happened for you.  However, if the coupon is a BOGO, you can use a coupon on just the item that you are paying for.  So if you have a $1 off one coupon, you could combine it with a BOGO coupon since you are buying 1 item in order to get one free.  Make sense?  If an item is on sale for BOGO, that is when it is fun to use a $1 off 2 coupon to get the most savings or better yet, a coupon on each item.  Hope that helps cause I wasn't 100% sure what you were asking.  :)

    • BeachBritt

I am very new to this and need some help!  When the “M” (manfactuer's coupon) is beside the item… where do I go to locate that coupon?  I went to several of the sites for the brand but found no coupons any where… help!  Thanks!

      • mamabelbel

If there is a date following, they are from the newspaper insert on that day.  If not, there is a usually the name of a magazine or coupon book or mailer or something.  This is where creating a coupon stash is important. If it is printable, that will be clear also.  You might want to check out the tutorials on this page cause it will make it all much clearer!

        • BeachBritt

Thanks so much!  I picked up a paper today and there were many in there.

    • Cheryld

The B1G1 Perdue chicken for $8.99 isn't a b1g1…found that out when I got home. HT makes it very confusing when they post their huge signs all over the shelves and the item on sale may not be anywhere close. And the Knorr sides are misleading too. Bought 3 and only one rang up at .62. So really watch the shelf labeling. Did get some good buys though.

    • Bjashep

HT eggs (1 doz) on sale this week for $1.27. Then if you use your VIC card, it takes off another $.50 making it $.77/doz! Limit 2.

    • lala

IF THEY ARE OUT OF STOCK AND I GET RC WILL THEY HONOR THE DOUBLING OF 1.98 COUPON DEAL THIS WEEK??

      • Kaki

        no

        • Margoren

          About every 6 weeks I've been told…..

      • Germaine Jenkins

Save the RCs for the next super doubles sale.

        • Imnew

Anyone know how often they run super doubles? thanks!

      • Meginparker

nope, they won't honor the doubling…i know it's a bummer…my store ran out of the johnsonville chicken sausage and i have a bunch of coupons. they will give you the sale prince but not honor the double coupon.

        • Margoren

My coupons expire in Sep. I'm pretty sure they'll have another super doubles by then. Get rainchecks and use them on the next super doubles.

    • Organicjunkie

For any of you who like to only eat organic lettuce like me, i found a great dollar off coupon for Earthbound Organic! Which will double to 2 during super doubles making it $2 for a 3 bunch! I get this at full price usually so its worth it for me especially, wish it was something i could stock up :P wont let me paste the link so i typed it out
      http://www.ebfarm.com/products/freestuffandmore.aspx
(or you can google Organic lettuc coupon to find the link)

Hey, little heads up for anyone doing the Shredded Wheats deal.  They are $3.99 and BOGO (the 18oz size), and there is a $1 off 2 coupon in the 5/15 RP that expires today.  That brings the price down to 99 cents each, which is sweet enough – but most of the boxes are specially marked with codes for a Cars 2 promotion.  4 will net you a $5 gas card, making these a slight profit!!  Today is the last day you can do it!  I only bought two boxes because I wasn't prepared, but I am going to see my dad today and he lives by Harris Teeter so I'll pick up the other two (hopefully still left!)

      Today's SS insert  has a B2G1, Buy 2 V8Fusion get V8 Fusion Tea free. The barcode has a “16”. Can I use the B2G1 with a $1.50/1 off a V8 Fusion? Thanks!

      • Nita Royal

yes, I used 2 of the $1.50 off and the B2G1 with no problem.

        • Margoren

          Thanks! I'll try it tomorrow.

Anyone that lives in Greenville, NC know what the best newspaper around here to sign up for is? I followed the link jenny provided and still have questions. Sounds silly, but im VERY new to this ..do ALL newspapers come with coupon booklets? I know there is the daily reflector in this area but do all the papers in the area have the same coupons also? Thanks to anyone who can help! :)

      • Lgacgoodman

I am in New Bern and today I bought our NB paper (sun journal) and the News and Observer.  I got many more coupons out of the N and O than from our local paper.  However the N and O cost $2 and our local paper is only $1.  HTH..

      • Veganmom7

The Daily Reflector at the Sheetz off of Firetower usually has good coupons, sometimes the Daily Reflector at other locations doesn't have the coupon inserts. I've also heard the paper from Raleigh has more/better coupons than the Greenville paper. Good luck! :)

      • Sparklecat2009

Definitely get the Raleigh News & Observer.

      • Nita Royal

News & Observer usually has better coupons and all possible inserts.  My local paper didn't even have the RP today!

      • Guest

Just stay away from the Kinston FreePress – it does not get the Proctor&Gamble insert (only comes about 1 time per month, but still a valuable insert to get).

I am new to couponing and have a question…I have a $1.00 off 2 Kraft Mayos…its on sale for B1G1 free this week…would the BIGI free count towards needing 2 … should I use this coupon? Thanks :)

      • CouponFairy

Yes, you can use that coupon because with HT, BOBO means that each item rings up at half.  So each mayo is going to ring up $2.34, after your $1 off 2 coupon, you will pay $1.34 for each jar of mayo.

    • julie

anyone know what deals we can get with this sundays qpons?

      • guest

you can determine this yourself. use the “express lane” for your store and the coupons you have – quite easy – no need to wait for others to do the work.

    • Sheri

hi, new also……….How do these people on TV get around the 20 coupons per day

      • Angelascoupons1

I think the stores make exceptions because they are going on tv. I do know that some stores don't have the restrictions….but I really think it is mostly the tv factor. That is one reason that themshow is unrealistic.

      • The stores allow them to break all the rules.  I know at least 1 store that has an upcoming episode said that they will NEVER do it again

      • Guest

Most  of them are not shopping at Harris Teeter.  Some shopped at stores that already give very generous limits.  Some shopped at stores that USED TO HAVE generous limits, BEFORE the stupid show went on the air and caused stores to crack down on their coupon policies b/c of crazy people thinking everyone should be able to be 'extreme'.  Some stores also let the TV shoppers break the rules b/c they were going to be on TV.  REAL couponing is NOT like it is on TV.

Another beginner coupon question…I printed the mueller's 55 cent coupon listed here and she it would be free when doubled and since its on sale…the coupon in very small print says no doubling…will HT still double? Or did southern saver make a mistake?

      • Coupon Lover

HT does not double anymore when it says “DO NOT DOUBLE.” However, it is not set in the system yet, so if it does double, it is the cashier's mistake.

        • NCsavers

My store usually does not double DND's, but they did on these coupons – I didn't even notice the DND

      • Raynesmw

Depends on the store. If it starts w/ a 5, mine does.

    • Zinniasgive

Not sure where to post this, but does anyone want a '25 free point' code from a catalina printout I received at HT yesterday?? Email me at zinniasgive@aol.com

      • Zinniasgive

sorry, forgot to add…it's for the pampers gifts to grow program.

    • Tee

This Sunday had a $1.50 off Butterball Turkey Burgers coupon and I haven't been able to find this item at my online express store.  These appear to be new, so I was wondering if anyone has gone to HT to see if they have this item yet?

      • Steph

I think they were either $5.99 or $6.99 at my store but I realized as I was getting one that my coupon said Do not double.

      • NCsavers

They were over by the sea food/bread/butcher section in at my store yesterday, and were listed at about 9.50 – not a very good deal :(   Plus the coupon is a DND, so I didn't even bother with it

      • Meginparker

i just saw them there today. they are in the meat dept with the other packaged burgers.

    • Jlee6244

Just got back from my Harris Teeter. The BOGO on Domino Sugar is not at my store. I made a special trip and went through the hassle of dowloading the printing software to print a coupon and no good. Where do you get your info from?

      • Margoren

Always check the “Express Lane” on their website to confirm prices. Different stores can have different prices and Jenny checks a particular store's Express Lane. While most prices will be the same there will be a few that are different.

    • Michele

Do you know when there may be another triple week coming?   Soon I hope..I really need to stock up

      • Angelascoupons1

I couldn't survive a triple week right now!  I'm trying to recover from super doubles! ha ha!

    • Twinmama

My HT did not have the Kid Cuisine meals on sale for 99 cents. Maybe it was just for certain stores?

      • Margoren

There were only two kinds (at my store) that were on clearance or close out. I don't think they'll sell that kind any more.

        • Shannonw1983

i went they only had the spaghetti one marked down to .99

    • Ghettobillys

Crazy thing at HT today: used (3) $1.50 V8 juice Qs at $3.99 each, then 1 Free V8 juice + Tea wyb 2 juices Q.  Was told by cashier and cust. svc. that I had to purchase another juice. WHAT?  She said I had to follow the coupon. WHAT?  I purchased the required 2 juices, just at $.99 each. After a few minutes of debate, I just let it go.  Was I wrong?

      • Michaelsmom

The offer was to buy 2 get one, so if you used 3 $1.50 coupons then using 1 more coupon would have gotten you 2 free as the offer was buy 2 get one free.  If you only wanted 1 free then you only had to use 2 of the $1.50 off coupons.  That coupon deal was a little bit of a bust because they gave you 2 $1.50 coupons and 2 of the buy two get one free, so they are expecting you to buy 2 more at the regular price w/o a coupon and then you would get another free.  I actually bought them yesterday as well.

      • Guest

You can only use 1 coupon toward each item that you purchase.  By using 3 $1.50 coupons for the juice, you've used 3 coupons for 3 juices.  If you then wish to use the coupon for a FREE juice wyb 2, you need a 4th juice in your cart.  If you only had 3 juices, the cashier and CSM were correct in stating you needed another in order to use the coupon.

        • Ghettobillys

Yes, I had at total of 4 V8's in my cart. 3 for the buy 2 get 1 deal and one more for the single $1.50 off coupon.

    • Ldonnale

does any one know when they will do triples?

    • Dora

can anyone tell me the deal on soft scrub bleach

    • Linda

I just wanted to Thank “ALL” (stockers, cashiers, baggers and the Managers!!!)employees at Harris Teeter on Cloverdale, in Winston Salem, NC for all their hard work!! They run out of stuff quick, because all the couponers shop there and its a big store. However I spoke to a manager tonight and he was very nice, he even went to go look for some mayo for me in the back, that was empty on the shelf.

    • Kelly826826

Unadvertised deals- what exactly does that mean? Does that mean the shelf price will show the sale price or the regular price. I went to HT today to get several unadvertised deals and my HT did not show the unadvertised sale price on the shelf so I didn't buy anything. I was majorly bummed because that was mainly the reason I went to HT. Please explain!!
