Are turkeys going to be cheaper than 70 cents/pound next week, or should be grab one now?

      • Actually most areas are offering them at 39 cents a lb with a $40 purchase. I meant to include that at the top!

        • laura

Is that 40 before or after coupons?

          • It doesn't say at all. I wish I knew!

            • Xraychik512

Me too! Someone let us know ;)

            • LadySiren

I posted this very question on HT's Facebook page; still no response from 'em, grrr! If I hear back, I'll post it here.

            • LadySiren

Okay, HT responded to my Facebook post with this: “The $40 dollar purchase is after coupons are deducted and excludes non-grocery items.” That being said, a user on one of the coupon sites said the $40 was *before* coupons at her store. Therefore, I have no idea which is correct.

            • Guest

Sometimes these deals are even more complicated than just 'before or after'. There was a deal once where you had to spend $75 for like 16 weeks to get a $50 reward, and it counted any amount you actually spent toward the $75, PLUS it counted the face value of the manufacturer's coupons you used, but NOT the doubled value. (so if you got something and used a $0.75 coupon for it and it doubled to $1.50, you were getting $0.75 credit toward the $75 you needed to spend for the reward). If you think about it, that really makes sense b/c HT is actually getting paid back for the face value of the coupon (but not the doubling part since that is purely an HT promotion), so to them the $0.75 coupon is like cash and therefore worked toward the deal, but the other $0.75 from the coupon doubling was counted as a discount and therefore didn't count toward your qualifying spending. I have no idea if this particular deal is that complicated or not when the register actually does it, but just an idea for you of how differently these types of things can sometimes work.

            • Jalonzo

I only spent $4.47 (after coupons) and got my turkey for 39 cents.

            • Jalonzo

I did it this morning- I spent $4.47 after coupon sand got my turkey for .39 a lb. Once they hit total it takes it off. I ALWAYS use the uscan because it totals it and THEN asks if you have coupons.

          • Migrn

Usually before coupons for the special deals if I remember right.

        • Marlene

The ad in charlotte shows HT Turkey at 29 cents a pound with $40 grocery purchase. I almost never spend $40 in one go – well at least not AFTER coupons, but I may have to try this.

        • Paulasherrin

has anyone else found out anything about the additional special deal? and thanks so much for all you do. this is now my best hobby. i love it. i am truly addicted.

      • Laurakc181

The meat market manager told me that if you spend $40 in groceries you can get a turkey for $0.39/ pound! Just an FYI :)

      • Jeri

Turkeys are going to be 49 cents per pound at Bi-Lo this week and as far as I know there is no requirement to purchase a certain dollar amount of groceries to get that price.

    • harbinfamily

I thought i was all “Teetered Out” after Super Doubles, but it looks like I will head back to get some more great deals this week. You're great, I hope you know how much we all appreciate you!

    • Shallrn2

What are the states and zips for the dixie crystals sugar printable?

      • Rita

I was not able to find the Q on smartsource using a number of zips BUT I did find a .50 for sugar and another .50 coupon for light, dark or powdered sugar on http://www.dixiecrystals.com (choose the link at the bottom). I was able to print 2 of each coupon!

      • Jeri

States are: AL, AR, FL, GA, IN, KY, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN, and VA

I used my zip of 29720 a few days ago on smartsource dot com and it worked fine.

        • Stephanie

I only see .75 off Imperial Sugar?

    • Thanks for the list! :-)

    • Linda P.

Just a note about the Libby canned Pumpkin. I tried using the coupon for Libby's fruit on this product several days ago and the system would not match the coupon to the product. Today, I tried the Libby vegetable coupon and it did not match up. I went and talked with the customer service area, explained the situation. She forced the coupon for vegetables, so it all ended well for me, but I did have the frustration of trying to get the system to work on the product.

      • RebeccaFer

Hmmmmm, what the heck does Libby think a pumpkin is then?!?!?! It's a mystery food from Mother Nature! Lol. :)

    • laura

Usually the after Super doubles list bums me out, but I'm actually really excited about this week! Way to go Teeter!

    • Jeri

If you still have any of the Kraft $5 off wyb 5 participating products, the Kraft Shredded cheese that is $1.64 with the bogo will be .64 each! I looked back through my stash and found a q that expires on 11/11 so some folks may also still have one that isn't expired.

      • RebeccaFer

YMMV with cashiers allowing you to use a q for five items when it's a B1G1 deal. I can never figure out how they end up telling me I have to buy x amount of items just so I can get one free because the sale was already getting me one free. I don't think I'm a dumb person or anything but my head hurts when they try to explain it, lol. :)

        • laura

I always go through the express self check out lane if I'm only getting a few things and have a questionable coupon that really should work anyway. I don't think its fraudulent doing it this way since really I'm not getting a product for free, HT just gives me each coupon for half off. If I had 5 $1 off coupons they would all work just fine… but anyway, I've never had the self check out people question a coupon, and they've always doubled the DND5 coupons.

          • RebeccaFer

Oh, I'm in no way saying you are doing anything fraudulent. My apologies if you thought so, I was just saying that I've run into problems with HT's no q on the “free” item in a B1G1 sale. I honestly think it's one of the most frustrating rules they have because the item does not ring up free but shows it as a fraction of the price, depending on the sale. I'm happy you're able to use it and hopefully others will too now that you gave them the heads up. :)

            • katiemac

I think it really just depends on how your HT runs the B1G1. If it shows “item rings up at half price” in the online flyer, I've never had a problem using a coupon for $x/2 coupon. I actually used my Kraft coupon during a cheese B1G1 a while back and had no problems, but again, it was identified as “item rings up at half price.”

            • Guest

B1G1 items ALWAYS ring at half-price at HT. If you only buy 1, it's going to show up half-price, not full price. But that doesn't change the fact that the policy says you can't use a coupon toward the free item. It's extremely frustrating b/c HT is the ONLY grocery store that has that rule about only using a coupon on the free item – Lowes Foods, Bi-Lo, Food Lion, and Bloom will all take the coupon on the second item. HT should get with the program and follow the lead of those other stores.

        • NC_angel

I was worried about that today, because the Martha White was B1G1 and I had the 55/2 coupon. I thought for sure it was going to beep, but I didn't have a problem. You need a PhD to read the HT coupon policy =D

        • Bholmes75

I was wondering the same thing but my sister ih law told me to get 5 different varieties of the cheese so if it would work. the coupon will beep anyhow. hmmm what to do.

          • Jalonzo

It beeps because it wants them to actually enter in the $5, not because there is something wrong with the coupon.

    • bunchofpants

Interesting thing happened to me with the Al Fresco $2 off coupon. I used it successfully for the Wild Blueberry breakfast sausage once each at two different HT stores last week (the B1G1 deal is a repeat). Then when I tried to use one a third time at one of the stores where it had already worked, the system rejected it because it was over the actual price of the item ($1.99). Luckily I also had a copy of the $1 off coupon which, thanks to Super Doubles still made the item free, and the system accepted it (adjusting the doubled value down to 99 cents). So, depending on your HT, the $2 off coupon may not work on the Wild Blueberry sausage.

      • Jeri

I had this same problem at my HT in Charlotte. The manager said they would have to round the q down to $1.98 (bogo @ 3.99) so I ended up paying .01 for it. I had two q's but the store only had one pack of the blueberry variety so I think I will check again tomorrow to see if they have any more in stock. I heard this flavor was being discontinued which is why it is b1g1 so they may not be restocking.

        • RebeccaFer

I tried about four or five HT's to find this but it was gone from the very beginning. I just shopped SD tonight and asked the meat department person who told me they couldn't get them from the warehouse. I love when they put something like that on sale but there isn't any stock … and then continue the sale! Crazy silly, lol. :)

      • laura

The coupon should be able to low the amount down even the first time. I know I've used coupons that were above the value of the product before, and it worked out just fine.

      • Sparklecat2009

The HT in Greenville NC would not accept the $4 Wholly Guacamole coupon as it was 1 penny more than the price of the product. The manager said it was de-frauding the company. Second time I have run into this……….. Would not have even bothered trying if I had thought about the first incident.

      • nc_sunshine

Strange, b/c last wk with the Barilla Plus $1 MQ (when that pasta was 5/$3 — $0.60 each!), I actually made overage! It took the $1 without beeps, and didn't adjust down to $0.60 (and obviously, didn't double). I was shocked. As for the $4 Wholly Guacamole MQ, it beeped — one store keyed in $3.99 (actual price), while another store overrode it for $4 (overage of a penny — hallelujah! Lol…) HTH!

    • Jalonzo

The E-vic in the ad I got has Stouffers 28-40 oz family size dinners for $4.99. There is a $1 printable coupon but I don't remember where :? sorry

      • Bholmes75

there was one on the nestle family website.

      • I update the list and added a few coupons for that at the top!

    • Jfetty

Love the reminder that pumpkin is a fruit! That's a mom for you … always thinking of others! Thank you!!!

      • eb

Last week, I tried both the Libby Fruit and the Libby Vegetable to buy pumpkin, but neither matched and they would not take it. I guess pumpkin is it's own food group. :)

        • laura

Pumpkins have seeds. Its a fruit. I would say that to the cashier if they wouldn't take it. Or maybe print out the Wikipedia page and highlight that its a fruit?

          • AJS

Ha, ha, my kids' school says Wikipedia is not a reliable source!

            • Patagonia

It is not actually. :) Here is how the wiki pages are written, and who they are written by… taken from the faq page.

“Who is responsible for the articles on Wikipedia?
You are! Actually, you can even edit this very FAQ, so long as each edit is helpful. This is a collaborative effort. Millions of people have contributed information to different parts of this project, and anyone can do so, including you. “

          • RebeccaFer

I totally admire your determination and resourcefulness but I'm thinking if the coupon isn't coded for it, they really don't have to take it even if we are right. Doesn't mean I'm not going to try anyway though, lol. :)

            • Bholmes75

              Rebecca,

there's two types of pumpkin. 1 is pumpkin pie filling and other is pumpkin puree its in the veggie fruit aisle. I say if its mixed in with the fruits and veggies and it is by considered a fruit they use it and fight your case. I did it during superdoubles and they had to override it.

        • Bholmes75

My harris teeter took it because the pumpkin puree was mixed in with the canned vegetables so I made my argument and they overrided it.

          • nc_sunshine

Same here — at two different stores (two different dates), I used the canned veg coupons (which beeped), and since they knew canned “pure pumpkin” was stocked in the canned veg aisle, they overrode it w/o much hesitation. Fortunately in this case, it isn't stocked in the baking aisle (like they do at Walmart!)

        • Susan

They took mine, but required an override.

    • Jennifer

Does anyone know if the Hickory, NC location is having Super Double or Triple coupons for the week of 10/10 through 10/16? I have heard they were going to do this until the first of the year.

      • Janell

I'm assuming you meant the week of 11-10 – 11-16, but yes they are having Triple's this week!

        • Felicia

Which location in Hickory or are there more than one. I normally go to Boger City so I'm not familiar with those?

          • Janell

There is only one in Hickory and it’s one Center Street. For the past 5 weeks they have been alternating between double and triple manufactures coupons. I can’t belive it every week I go they still have their triple or double coupon banner hanging up outside the store!

    • SaraSaves

The Idahoan Potato coupon via Facebook is no longer available. :(

      • Bholmes75

sara there was a new $.40 off coupon on smartsource I used area code 28120

    • Marlene

From my email this morning there’s a link to a $3 off instantly when you spend $10 on Unilever products:
Lipton Tea, Lipton Onion Soup Mix, Hellman’s mayo, Shed’s country crock, Wishbone dressing, Skippy Peanut Butter.
I haven’t worked out if this will be a good deal or not with the coupons coming out in this Sunday’s red plum.
Here is the link to the promotion: http://www.harristeeter.com/promotions/group_offers.aspx

    • Jalonzo

I did AMAZING – spend $4.47, total value of items: over $91!!!! INCLUDING a 12 lb turkey! WOW Here is the picture of what I got (I LOVE seeing pictures of what people got!)

      http://moolasavingmom.blogspot.com/2010/11/what-did-i-pay-for-all-of-this.html

      • Xraychik512

You did great!! Question though, I'm assuming since you paid $4, the turkey deal was before coupons, right? And the $40 that you have to reach is without the turkey? (sorry probably a stupid question)

        • Jalonzo

no question is stupid! Yes, the $40 was before coupons and I used 3 of the $8 General Mill catalinas.

          • heather

Did they let you use all 3 cats in the same order? My HT wouldn't let me do that….they did let me split up my cart into 3 orders to be able to use them all in one trip, but what a pain! As she was ringing up my order I made her stop at $40.00 to get my turkey discount then had to pull my q's out for each different order. (difficult to do with a 3 year old:) Seems like it would be much easier on everyone to just push all cats through in one order.

            • Jalonzo

I told them that the coupons did NOT say limit 1 per order, per person OR per transaction. They had let me use them all on the same order all the last weeks, why was now different? So, the manager over-rode it. I was as polite and nice as can be to them even though they were giving me MAJOR attitude.

I understand the difficult- I have to take my twin 3 year olds with me. I think that is why they pushed them through- they had heard enough the of whining from the twins!

      • laura

Would love to know what coupons you used

    • Momsdword1

Thanks again for all the matchups. I keep telling my family I am going to slow

down from the Q-shopping and they just laugh. Me, too!!

    • Xraychik512

The 2nd coupon for the Barber's Chicken is for clorox stain fighter, not sure if anyone else noticed this, or I'm crazy? :)

      • Oops! Thanks for the heads up

    • Woodscloset

Can someone help me? I had a .55 off 2 coupon for a B1G1 @ Harris Teeter and they wouldn't use the coupon on the “free item”. How can I get around this or should I bother? I am soooo tired of arguing with cashiers at HT!

      • April

I think maybe you use the coupon before you use your HT vic card.

        • heather

But I think the problem with that is then the coupon won't double.

      • You have to BUY 2. So that means you actually have to get 4 of them – thus you are buying 2 and getting 2 free. That's how HT does it.

        • Bholmes75

well I think its ridiculous. if the coupon says for 2 items I should be able to get two esp since harris teeter with a bogo they mark each one as half off.

          • I know. They used to do it that way, but changed their policy a couple of months ago. Bi-Lo has a better policy in this regard.

            • Guest

Incorrect. The policy has addressed this issue for a lot longer than a couple of months. Maybe you just weren't previously aware of that rule.

            • Well, they just started doing it at my HT a couple of months ago.

        • shopper

You can “buy” 3 when using a coupon for 2 items, if you want.

        • Guest

Technically, if it's B1G1, neither are free. You have to pay half price for both items. It is as if a person is getting one free because he is paying the regular price of one of the items for both items.

      • Jalonzo

My HT lets them go through…I think it depends on your cashier/manager

        • A manager type at my HT in Charlotte says that by January, all the HT's should be enforcing the policies the same way.

          • Jalonzo

I have a family member in management at HT and Honestly I think that some managers just say this to avoid looking like jerks. My HT says that as long as I don't use a separate coupon on the “free” item it is fine.

    • I can't find the McCormick or Dixie Crystals coupons. I've tried lots of different zip codes. Can anyone help?

      • Guest

It may be that the coupons were previously available but have since been removed. Sometimes coupon links are not entirely up-to-date with current offerings. coupons(dot)com and smartsource(dot)com update their offerings monthly, and sometimes coupons are removed if the manufacturer specified a certain number allowed to be printed and if that number has already been reached.

    • Calicocoupon

Honestly I think pumpkin is classified as a “squash”…not sure where that fits in…veggies? But, if HT takes the coupon based on the “pumpkin is a fruit” argument – awesome! I'll have to try my hand today to see how my HT handles the coupon.

      • Guest

www(dot)dictionary(dot)com defines pumpkin as being a fruit.

        http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/pumpkin

      • Brendaziz

i just googled it and everything I've found says it's a fruit :)

        • Leah

Yeah, they didn't take it at my HT either (Nashville Bellemeade). Apparently pumpkin is considered a fruit everywhere but Harris Teeter. : (

      • laura

If it has seeds its a fruit… Squash is a fruit.

      • HopeMomma

Regardless of whether it's technically a fruit, they didn't take my coupon. :(

      • It worked for me today, but the manager did an over ride. It's actually in the vegetables section. I guess it depends on how nice your manager is.

    • Stephanie

Does anyone have a zip for the Frosted Cheerios?

    • Christy

Am I missing something? Idahoan Potatoes $1/3 doesn't make them free….

      • laura

Well, it makes one free… And the others at a normal price…

      • Littletinkebell

        there was a $1/1 coupon.

    • Zac_jesse_314

I love the southern savers site, but if you have tried to print the excedrin coupons like I did, you will find out that there are no coupons at the site to pint. It's a shame because I needed some.

    • Jalonzo

Thanks for everything SOUTHERN SAVERS! I just got back from Harris Teeter, spent $0.73 and saved $40.67! WOW. Here is the picture of all of what I got: http://moolasavingmom.blogspot.com/2010/11/best-plans.html I think pictures are MUCH more dramatic than a list of items :)

      • Can't wait to get the Lipton coupon this weekend. How do you already have it??

        • Jalonzo

We go through SO much tea, I bought them without the coupon and will go back Sunday WITH the coupon

    • Sparklecat2009

Is the Morehead City Harris Teeter still doing triples???

      • Mbridge

they are doing super doubles for the next three weeks then they are going back to triples for four weeks :)

        • Xraychik512

          I'm soooo jealous!

        • Sparklecat2009

Thanks!! I live in Washington…………thinking about taking a trip to Morehead City for the triples!!

    • Elizabeth S.

BOO, HARRIS TEETER! Even though the 8 o'clock coffee rings up at half price, my store would not accept my coupons for the 2nd one, because “we do not accept coupons for free items.” This is hogwash in my opinion, and I think I will only be going to Publix from now on.

      • guest

This is the HT policy – we should all know and abide by the policies. Attitudes like this are what hurts all of us using coupons. Your hogwash opinion does not matter – the HT policy does. I am thrilled to be able to use coupons on sale items and bring my grocery bill down. I say THANK YOU to HT and all stores that offer us the opportunity to work within the system.

        • Elizabeth S.

I completely agree with abiding by the policies – I just don't agree with the policy that's set forth, that's all. (In fact, after I decided I didn't want to purchase the coffee, they still left it in my bag by mistake…. and I took it back to the store – in no way, do I want to cheat.) I just think that they should change their system so that the first one would ring up full price, and the second 0.00, or something like that. And, since the manufacturer reimburses them the amount of the coupon, I don't understand why they wouldn't want to adopt a policy that makes it easy for us to use the coupon for the item.

          • Marlene

I have to agree with you Elizabeth – if the 2nd item rang up completely free and they didn't want to accept a coupon for the “free” item that would be one thing but I've written to them about this policy and they say yes you can buy 1 item at half price and use 1 coupon but if you buy 2 items you can only use 1 coupon. It is absolutely unlogical. Now, having said that I hate having this conversation with the cashier (who is just doing his/her job…) so what many of us do – buy 2 different kinds of whatever item it is. For the coffee I'll buy one original and 1 french roast blend. With the Martha White muffin mix I was buying 4 different muffin mixes each time. Now if the cashier works for a real stickler and knows they're sale prices they will pull that coupon and be silly about it but otherwise it will just go through, proving their computers are smarter than their policies (sorry, and yes i do love HT – well, sometimes)

            • Littletinkerbell

You still save more money if they ring up half price rather then one at regualar price and free. I just check out and buy the second one or however many in separate transations. HT's policy is that you cannot separate transactions to try and go over 20 coupons, so you can separate transactions to get the 2nd one with a coupon…So you would save twice as much this way rather then one at full price and one for free.

          • Littletinkerbell

It would not save as much money if they made the first one ring at full price. Just buy one and do the second transation for another item.

      • raynesmw

No, they don't accept coupons for the second item. I have had problems with them accepting a $/2 coupons on the BOGO. When I asked for the policy, I was shown, “you may only use 1 coupon off BOGO items.” Well, a $/2 coupon is just one coupon.I have emailed, and am waiting on an official policy back on that. I work in a business world, and policies should not be left up to “interpretation”. I wish I had a Publix and a Kroger near me, but I have Bi Lo, Food Lion and HT.

        • Markayla728

In the policy it states that we do not accept coupons for “free” items. It is there.

      • Guest

Harris-Teeter is my favorite place to coupon. I am sure they lose big money when they allow triples and super doubles. Just be glad.

      • CouponKing

Why not just buy one item on each visi?

      • CouponKing

Why not just buy one item on each visit?

      • Hillary

Which area is your HT located?

      • Littletinkerbell

That is Harris Teeters policy. They only accept one coupon for buy one get one deals. Next time do a second transation if you want a second item in a BOGO deal!

    • Jalonzo

Did anyone else get an email about a new E-vic savable coupon program????

      • Carrie_C

Yep – I just did and came here to see what's up! If it's like Kroger (as best I can remember) you get the choice of a paper or an electronic coupon and the ecoupon won't double. Sometimes I've been to Kroger and it takes both the ecoupon and the paper coupon. Will be interesting to see how it shakes out!

        • Jalonzo

To be safe- I am only saving coupons over $1 to my card. I plan my trips out so if I don't have a paper coupon for something I will save the digital. It will take a while for them to work out the kinks. Better safe then sorry, esp. since the digitals don't double.

      • Littletinkerbell

I dont think I like it. You can't use paper coupons with the electronic coupon and the electronic coupons dont double. So I only down loaded coupons that I have not seen out in paper. It could be okay for some of the higher value coupons when it is not super doubles. I down loaded the Bordon Single and one othe complete meal they had a cookie crisp but I would rater get something with a coupon that doubles…..Anyway that is my opinion on it so far!

        • Jalonzo

I am with you and be careful with the higher value ones anyway- there is a 75 cent IP for Hellmanns and there is a $1 e-vic one- so you lose 50 cents using the e-vic one

    • Maurine

Can anyone confirm the Dannon yogurt b2 get 3 or b1 g2 deal?

    • guest

Okay I am new to the coupon world but have a question. I was told I could use up to 3 coupons for one item by a girl at work. Some of the websites will let you print up to 2 for an item. I went to the store with 2 that I printed from a website (not copies) and they said I could not use them. Is this right? I am just confused how you can use up to 3. Thanks!

      • Leanna

I believe HT's policy is 2 internet coupons(and by same item-I assume you are buying two) or three other coupons(like the ones from SS or RP) per transaction. So if you bought two Rice crispies-and you had 2-$.50 of that you printed online-you could use those! I hope that helps you….

      • Jalonzo

I'm not sure of your question – were you trying to use 2 coupons but buy just 1 item? You can buy 3 of the same thing and use 3 regular coupons or 2 printed coupons.

      • nc_sunshine

It's the difference between INTERNET (up to 2) and actual NEWSPAPER (up to 3) coupons. In other words, let's say you have the $1 Wisk internet (“printable”) coupon, and you have the $2 Wisk coupon from Red Plum insert 10/24. You can theoretically buy 2 bottles using TWO of the $1 internet coupons, or buy 3 bottles using THREE of the Red Plum insert coupons (if you bought or have access to 3 newspapers). HTH!

      • Markayla728

You can use 3 q's cut out of the paper. you can only use 2 like coupons from the internet in one trip.

    • Catherineflair

how do you get the krogers home mailers?

    • I still LOVE Harris Teeter, but had an annoying experience today. The ghiradelli milk luxe chocolate was NOT on sale… total bummer. And the HT Orange Juice was NOT B2G3 Free. So major major annoyance b/c I didn't find this out until everything was rung up and bagged… ugh..
I am getting frustrated with the “This is an unadvertised deal” thing… NONE of them have worked for me and I don't have the time for all the confusion!!

      • I just realized that the ghiradelli sale is on the bars not the bags.. I am definitely going back for two FREE bars!

      • laura

Use Harris Teeter's Express lane on their website to check out the prices at a particular store. I always double check my list on their before going shopping. That way there are no surprises on prices, and I'll know ahead of time if its something they don't even carry. I don't think I've ever really had a problem though with the prices being different.

Like mine shows the orange juice as being a vic special… It doesn't say what the special is, but its on sale for something… Which is what Jenny has in the list that its either B1G2 or B2G3.

      • Timjen06

I feel for you.. I just had an annoying experience there are well with the Libby coupon.

      • Markayla728

There are so many markets for Teeters. They do not all have the same deals. That is the only problem with Southern Savers. You never know if it is your market. You just use this as a guide and see when you get there.

      • Mrsmcsparran

Then find the deals on your own.

      • Tamera

It is to my understanding that unadvertised deal means it is not in the flyer, but you would see the deal by the product in the store only. So if your store does not say B2G3 with the product, then it is not on sale. I would not go up to the register assuming something is on sale just because it said it was on the internet. I trust Southern Savers alot, but the stores can vary. So if my store ultimately does not say on sale, then I don't buy it.– Hope this helps.

    • Timjen06

Pumpkin in a NOT a fruit!! Harris Teeter will not except this coupon.

      • Chrisnlj

Someone may have already responded to this but, I'm not sure so I will. :) Scientifically speaking, Pumpkin IS a fruit. A fruit is a mature ovary of a flowering plant. While pumpkin is a gourd- it is still a fruit. Cuccumbers, green beans and tomatoes are also fruits. Vegetables come from other parts of plants, roots, stems and leaves. (carrots, spinach, etc.)

        Yes, I am a science nerd… :)

        • Michelle

seconded and approved…glad that coupon worked!

        • kim

hahaha, this discussion really made me laugh! I was sitting here asking myself, “Is pumpkin a fruit or a veggie?” I was going to Google it, but didn't have to thanks to your answer! Thanks for being a science nerd! ;)

      • Binker269

They accepted my coupon. I simply stated that pumpkin was a fruit, so they overrided it.

    • Mjb7187

Are you not allowed to use a coupon that exceeds the price of the item you are buying?

      • Jalonzo

I have done so before and they just adjust the price down.

    • Herndonquad

Went to HT tonight and instead of my BOGO items ringing up half price each they charged me full price for the first item ,and free for the second. This was done on every BOGO Also the special on the orange juice is not valid in the Florence market.

    • Jalonzo

FYI: The unilever deal (where you get $3 off a $10 purchase of lipton tea bags, wishbone, shedds, and mayo) is only 1 per HH. I learned that the hard way today :(

    • Donna

Does anyone know the zip for the dixie crystals sugar? Thanks

    • $avin'some$

if you type in “libby fruit” on express lane, lo and behold there appears canned pumpkin! so…. any of you having trouble getting your store to accept that Q- direct them to their own site! :o)

    • pennywiseinasheville

If I have a q for b1g1 products will they accept it on both, or do I have to buy 2 b1g1 deals? Help!

      • $avin'some$

Pennywise- if it is a coupon for a dollar amount off when you buy 1, then you can use it on B1G1 *however* you can only use 1 at a time. Luckily, B1G1 items ring up half price so you can just buy one per transaction. It means multiple transactions to get more than one of said item, but at least it can be done. HTH!

    • Stricklandjoanna

whats the coupon value this week?

      • $avin'some$

it's a regular week in my area. it varies by region though.

    • Janoverflow

The Harris Teeter in Waxhaw NC is not offering a special deal on their brand of Orange Juice like your list says. I asked management about it. -Jan

    • Cora

I found a printable coupon for Eagle Brand condensed milk on http://www.smartsource.com for 55cents. It is on sale $1.99 right now. So it would make it 89cents.. cool deal!

    • Ncocampo01

Iam sorry about the site for Eagle Brand milk.. it was not smartsource but redplum.com. thanks.

    • Godizmine

I travel over 50 miles one way to get to the closest Harris Teeter, so when I go it is for the REALLY good deals. I have tried, at two different HT's to use coupons for the Meal Deals, on the items I get for free, and have been refused. I even ran into a fellow couponer (an elderly gentleman) who told me about the HT in Brentwood, TN and their bad customer service. I was not treated kindly there either, and will not be back. I will just travel to Franklin, TN. Just wish a HT would open up in Murfreesboro!

      • JL

Try the HT at the Belle Medde Plaza on Harding road near white bridge. There is a publix right across the road so sometimes I go to both. They are strict on the DND dbl rules but great on customer service and I ony have done the meal deals a cpl of times and had no problem using the coupons

      • susansaver

The HT on 21st and Blair is by far the best one in middle TN. They double DND coupons and will take multiple coupons for the BOGO deals. One of my friend's bought the meal deal a few weeks ago and was able to use coupons. I've also had great experiences with the customer service. During a GM deal, a bunch of my catalinas didn't print and they gave me rain checks for each (with no expiration date!). The store is on the smaller side and they don't always carry everything but I'd rather deal with that then go to the other more picky stores.

    • Rita

      There’s a .75/1 Hellman’s coupon on Coupons.com (I don’t have any zip in)

    • kcreviews

Don't know if anyone has stated this yet, but the Idahoan potatoes are not free. They would still be $2 for 3 or $1 for 3 if it's super doubles.

    • EmilyV

Be careful with the Del Monte buy 2 get 3 free. It is only good for corn, greenbeans, and one other vegetable. Look at the sale flyer.

    • Loverly

The large Sargento cottage cheese is 2/$4 this week and I swore I saw a coupon for it this weekend while preparing for R.A. I've looked through all of my lists of what's in the papers back to 8/29 but nothing listed for Sargento and the coupon data base isn't showing it either. Anyone have a clue where it is?

      • Loverly

        I found it! whoohoo!

        • Jalonzo

Where please? I need to get some for Thanksgiving macaroni and cheese

    • Nita Royal

Has anyone loaded the new e-Vic coupons? I just got the mailing today, and started to load them up. But I'm wondering if these will override a paper coupon. If the paper one is better, I don't want to be forced to take an e-Vic for a lesser amount.

Would appreciate thoughts from others about this deal.

      • Jwilson20

I was wondering the same thing. I didn't load any for that same reason. I also noticed that they do not double!

      • Jalonzo

They automatically came off when I went the other day as soon as they hit subtotal (I use u-scann most times and when I hit pay for order before it asked for coupons it came off). I ONLY loaded coupons over $1 so I could avoid losing my doubles. Unfortuantley, I didn't realize that I had loaded a Hellmann's coupon for $1 an I had a 75 cent one. The Customer service manager took my paper coupon anyway and it did not beep.

I think that we need to be careful, but they would be great if there is one for something there is no printable or paper coupon- but they seem to all be red plum coupons you can get offline or in the paper.

      • Andrea

I just loaded a bunch and then realized you can't stack them so I'm going to go back in and delete them from my card since I can get better deals on items using paper coupons. I don't want to confuse the cashier when I tell them I want to use my paper coupons, not the e-coupon.

      • Happytraill

oooh, this isn't looking like a too good a deal for couponers, is that right? I haven't done anything yet …

    • GUEST

      TODAY I GET 7 Kraft Shredded Cheese, 8 oz. at $3.29 ($1.64)

      AND I USE 7 CUPONS OF .75/1 SO I SPEND 1.14 IN TOTAL …THANKS SOUTHERN SAVERS !!!!!

    • Dschauber

Has anyone gotten the Harris Teeter e-coupons yet? I am a bit confused. Will these work like manufacturer coupons? Just curious if anyone has seen these yet.

      • Nita Royal

I got them, but am hesitant to load them. (see note below). I read the FAQ's and they will not double, nor can they be combined with other coupons. I'm worried that if I load one of these, but want to use a paper Q, the e-coupon might get priority.

    • Neharris38

We did a quick trip to HT on Friday to pick up a b-day cake and a few related items. On the bottom of the receipt, it said “save $5 off of your next purchase of $5 or more.” Sweeeet! We tried it yesterday and indeed it did work! It's valid until 12/7 so that's a lot of time to gather up some free groceries!! I am thinking luxury items that rarely have a coupon! Hmmmm . . . . I can enjoy a bottle of Naked Juice :) . . . one with mango. I could never bring myself to pay $3 for such a small amount of juice before now!

    • Sparklecat2009

I need a turkey!!!!! Has anybody done the HT turkey deal??? I will have $40 but it will be before the coupons. Has anybody done this deal successfully with the coupons?

    • Scarff3

The Belle Hollow Hickory, NC store is having triple coupons this week and starting again tomorrow.

    • Ahutchins9

Libbys pumpkin was $1.75 not $1.25. i also tried to use the $1/2 coupon and they would not take it
