I'm pretty new to couponing so I'm not sure how coupons work on the BOGO items. Is each item charged half price, so I can use '2' coupons? Or can I only use the 1 coupon on the 1 item I'm “buying”?

      • Dodge05mag

at my Harris Teeter stores, BOGO are rang up at half price. BUT, the store policy is 1 coupon! even tho they ring up half. However some stores/cashiers will let you use 2 coupons, one per item on BOGO. I avoid one store just because the CSM is so anal about “the policy”. My other 2 stores in the area let me use 1 coupon per product even when they are BOGO. Hope this helps.

        • Guest

You can also just purchase 1 item at a time and just use your 1 coupon on your 1 item. Since the item rings up half-price, you still get the same savings even without buying 2 items. And since you are only using 1 coupon on 1 item, you're not violating the '1 coupon on a pair of bogo items' rule. It just means you may have to make more trips during the week to get however many items you need.

          • katie mac

You don't even have to make separate trips, just do separate transactions. If no one is behind me in line, I'll do 3 different transactions since their limit is 2 like internet coupons per transaction.

            • Actually, according to the policy, you should only buy one per store trip. The policy says 1 coupon per BOGO, and no orders may be separated which would allow the use of 2 coupons. I don't know why they have that policy; it sure would be nice if they didn't!

      • amos

You can only use one coupon on BOGO items at HT per there coupon policy. Hope this helps.

      • ShopperSteph

Some of the cashiers at my HT will let you use a coupon for each item, some limit it to 1 for the BOGOs. The only coupons I really have a problem using for BOGO items are the buy 2/ get $1.00 off. I have learned which cashiers give me a hard time and just avoid them. Oh, sometimes with the BOGO items I only buy one (rings at half price) and use a coupon. I haven't had any problems with that.

      • Amy

They do ring up at half price but the policy is to only allow one coupon per BOGO item (when buying just one) or set. If you have a problem using two coupons on a BOGO – just buy one at a time.

You just have NO idea what an impact you have made on our lives! My husband lost his job 19 months ago, right after our daughter was born–the very week I resigned from my teaching position to stay home with her full time. Without your help, we wouldn't have been able to make it! Watching every penny has been made easy and fun because of your website. Thank you for serving!

    • Amymac78

Meuller's Pasta has a coupon on their website for spaghetti or elbow macaroni for $.55/1. This makes it free. I used it 3 times during last weeks sale, hasn't stopped me from printing it yet…..

    • Katie

      Yay, 25-cent pasta!!! Thanks, Jenny!

    • Lindy

OK, so I uninstalled the bricks.coupons.com coupon printer (why they need to install something on your PC & don’t just do like most others is beyond me, but then I’m not a computer security expert)-clicked on the coupon link for Hefty bags above, opened bricks website which prompted me to install again/which I did, then I got a ‘Sorry, you’ve printed this coupon the max # of times allowed’ [I’ve never, ever printed a Hefty coupon].

    • Meanddblj

how do the upromise coupons work?? this is a new one to me. ty

      • Guest

For the upromise coupons, you need to creat an account on www (dot) upromise (dot) com – and after you create your account you need to add your shopper cards (like HT's VIC card) into your account. Then find the section for 'eCoupons' and select them to 'activate'. They put out new ones each month, so always check back at the beginning of the month to 'activate' your new eCoupons. The way it works, is that when you actually purchase the item inthe store, the system sees that you've bought a qualifying item and it deposits the amount of the 'eCoupon' into your upromise account. It is not a regular coupon that gives you a discount in the store at the time of purchase – it is a credit that gets added to your account. Normally you can only use each 'eCoupon' one time per month – meaning if you buy the item several times, you're still only going to get that 'eCoupon' credit added to your account 1 time. There are other ways that you can get credits added to your upromise account, but adding your shopper cards is a good start b/c sometimes there are other things that give you credit even if there is not a 'eCoupon' for them that month, so you may get small amounts of credit without even trying to do anything.

The site is designed to be a way for you and your family/friends to help save up money for kids' college. But you can actually request the credits from your account to be sent to you in the form of a check.

        • Meanddblj

thanks so much!! i get it now :)

    • Lisa B

Mueller’s has a .55/1 printable coupon that will make for FREE pasta here: http://www.muellerspasta.com/coupons/list# (log-in required to print). (I also suggested for the DB).

    • Deb

I found a huge display in the freezer section covered with tear pad Q's yesterday, it contained things like: $1/2 Kraft Singles, Natural Cheese, Parm. Cheese, PHILLY Cream Cheese or Breakstone Sour Cream (any Varieties), exp 12/25
$1/2 Sorrento Ricotta or Mozzarella Cheese, exp 1/31/11
      $1/2 I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, exp 1/31/11
      $1/2 Pictsweet Deluxe Steam'ables, exp 1/31/11 DND5
$2/4 Birds Eye or Birds Eye Steamfresh products, exp 1/31/11
$1/2 Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers Frozen Veg, exp 1/31/11

      • I LOVE those deals- they have a BIG penguin stand with the coupons on it.

    • Pants

The Totinos pizza roll coupons won't print. Uses that 'Bricks' site that won't print anything for me anyway, even though I've used the Help link to email them like 3 times & have never heard from them. This time it just says “nothing to print for this campaign” or something like that.

    • Joy

Hey Ladies, Where's the closes Harris Teeter to Athens Ga even if its in South Carolina? Thanks!

      • Guest

You can go to www (dot) harristeeter (dot) com and use the store locator feature to find the store that's closest to you. Good luck!

    • Busycarebear

Does anyone have a senario for the Keebler rebate in last weeks Harris Teeter flyer?

    • My e-vic email had link to their website with a bunch of limit 1 e-vic deals (these don't appear to be targeted but rather for all e-vic customers). I matched up the coupons from the Southern savers database on my blog. Thanks Southern Savers :)

    • Marlene

Okay I skipped HT all together last week, just too busy but I am there are some great deals here. Have you checked your EVIC coupons? Per the FAQ they can be used with regualar coupons. I was able to load a $2 of any VIVA Big-Roll 6pack makes it $3.99 for 1. There are e-coupons for the Fancy Feast cat food, Skippy Peanut Butter (.40/1) make it free with the other 50cent coupon. The only way to get to the EVIC coupons is through the email they send you with the weekly specials – they are on one of the tabs.

      • Wdra0632

Which tab, I went through them and I can't seem to find them. Thanks for the heads up.

        • Marlene

Check your email this morning for the email from Harris Teeter. From there click on the link from “View My Specials” it will take you to the weekly circular and then there will be a Tab – the 4th one at the top for e-VIC coupons.

It won't work if you go directly to the Harris Teeter website. Hope that helps.

        • TheChapleigh

I have determined that the ONLY way to get to these store coupons is through the WEDNESDAY emails they send you…. NOT the email you get on Friday for the eVIC specials… thankfully I”d saved a previous Wednesday email from last week and I could access it from there…. I was even able to load the Purina Q a second time, after having bought that earlier today and stacked an IP with the Online-loaded store Q — making it $3.00!! So excited that I can go back and do that deal again!

      • nc_sunshine

OK, I thought maybe I was hallucinating…! I remember loading a $2 VIVA eVic coupon onto my card — but nothing came off my receipt Sunday evening, even though $2 came off for the Splenda, and it's no longer on the eVic page of e-coupons (I know it's supposed to disappear as soon as you use it). Did it maybe expire or something? I'm considering returning my VIVA towels… :o(

    • Felicia

I don't know if this is available to everyone everywhere, but I got an email this morning with E-Vic prices on a few more items not listed. I haven't looked for coupons on them yet, but still thought I'd share….Not even sure if some of these are a deal or not.

    • tammy f

does anyone know when they will have another super double sale?

      • luiza

I'd love to hear a “leak” on that too. I'm in need of some items, but this week's deals don't really help me much…

        • Guest

I would guess it might be after the New Year. The holiday season is already a very busy time for grocery stores, so they don't need the extra incentive to get people in the stores. That's just a guess, though.

        • Tisha

If you are in Morehead City, NC they are tripling this week. We've had either triples or super doubles for the past couple of months. Not that I'm bragging or anything. :-)

          • Sparklecat2009

I really need to ride over to Morehead City!! Would it be wrong to blow the budget on dinner at The Bistro and then make it up with triples at HT?? So tempting………..

    • Guest

I'm excited about Palermos pizzas for only $1.99 each!

      • LKNshopper

        Me too…I love those pizzas

      • heather

I love these too, but my HT will not take the IP!!

        • luiza

That's funny your store not taking those coupons…last week I had two coupons to use with the Palermo b2g3 and they would not scan. This had never happened before with these coupons. The manager let them go anyway. I still have two left to use, but am a bit wary now… Palermo is the best frozen pizza out there, my husband also loves it.

          • Raynesmw

Some of the ones in my HT had $1 peelies on them. You might have to dig back just a bit. They are yummy!

    • Annia

I can't find the I can't believe it's not butter coupons- what zipcode works?

    • KK

Just got back from HT and spent $27 and saved $48. This was even with buying a pack of steaks. I got a lot of stuff to stock up on. One good deal I found was they were marking down some if not all of the Air Wick oil to 2/ $5 even the twin packs. I got a twin pack for .50 cents after 2 $1 coupons, and 3 single packs with free warmers for $4.50 after a $3 coupon. Be careful though they did not ring up right at first and I had spoke to the lady marking them down so I made them change it. They also had air wick candle $3.99 and I had a $2 and a $3 coupon which made it free. I had been holding onto these coupons waiting for a good deal!

    • Elizabethconner

Anyone having trouble printing bricks qs?

    • Fish

yeah-the bricks coupons wont print-I uninstalled/reinstalled, then it changed to “Sorry, you've exceed the max # of times to print” on coupons I've never printed. Why someone needs to have software on your PC is beyond me anyway-why can't they just let us print off the web like everybody else does?

    • Fish

The Totino pizza coupons gets me a “There is nothing to print for that campaign” or something like that. I've clicked of their 'help' link & complained like 3 times-no response, nothing-they suckamondo

      • Joolz2010

I know it use to work and it doesn't now….send them an email maybe they will snail mail you some coupons :)

    • katie mac

Texas Toast croutons were still $1 each at my Harris Teeter. Paired with the q from the 11/14 SS, they are FREE.

      • Nita Royal

Thanks! – I just picked up 3 of these, and would have missed if you hadn't posted!

    • Fgavent

Can someone post a link to the $10/10 Kellogg’s Ultimate Guide to Savings booklet rebate form? Or could someone mail it to me? Please contact me at beautymcqueen@yahoo.com. I have done several google searches and it was in the Harris Teeter 12/1 ad but can’t find an ad scan. I bought the 10 items last night. THANKS!

    • Lisa B

Several great deals i found: Planters 2-2.5 oz. baking nuts are on e-vic special for .99, limit 2. there was a $1/2 Planters nuts manuf. coupon in a Kroger savings mailer right before Thanksgiving. Makes the nuts .49 each.

Fab free Nestle RTB cookie dough/cheap morsels scenario:
-Add the e-coup for $1 off Nestle RTB cookies WYB 1 Nestle morsels to your VIC card
-print the $1 off Nestle RTB cookies coupon AND the .50/2 morsels coupons here: http://www.verybestbaking.com/Coupons-Promotions/Coupons-List.aspx

One of the morsels will be $1.77 on e-vic special, the other is $2 (2/$4), so the doubled .50/2 coupon makes them $1.39 each. Then the $1 e-coupon will stack with the $1 printable on the RTB cookies, making them FREE!

ALSO, it’s not on the list above, but Soft Soap is B1G1 @$2.19 (1.09 each) and there are several .50/1 coupons available (see coupon DB) that make it .09 each!

And lastly, there was a Dickenson’s Display with a $1/1 coupon tearpad. At the B1G1 price that makes it $1.09 per jar.

    • I almost trashed it- but a catalina printed out for me for a free 7×9 shutterfly photo book! Good until 1/30/2011!! It looked like trash but I am GLAD I put it in my pocket!

      • TheChapleigh

Lowes Foods also printed that one out last week —- not sure if I will be able to do this a second time or not (from my HT catalina), as the fine print says only one… will have to see :)

      • TC

got this too! Is there a free shipping code out somewhere?

    • Katblake77

Not sure if anyone else has noticed the Buddig Deli Cuts are 10/$10 this week and the had a .55 cent peelie which doubled so it makes them FREE!!!!

    • mamac

The Muellers coupon on their website is $.55, it would make the pasta free.

    • Pants

If its somewhere where they double, like our Food Lion, the first 4 like coupons under $1, you'll make $ with the Muellers- My first try couponing ever-“Wait, this says we owe you money, that can't happen, my manager says you'll have to buy something else” so I bought a Chapstick for like 40 cents after taking off what they owed me (my lips hurt real bad!)

    • Nita Royal

Just a reminder that if you shop at WAGS, their RRs “Jingle Cash” is accepted by Harris Teeter. We had several of the .99 slips from the A&W root beer (.99 each), and by using them at HT, they doubled in value. There seems to be no limit, as we just got $46 of groceries for $3.16 by using regular coupons and RRs.

      • Am I understanding this correctly? HT will accept your register rewards or jingle cash from Walgreens and CVS?

        • Guest

Mine will accept Wags RR, but only one per visit.

      • shaz

are you sure that is at any ht?

      • Beth M

My HT takes my WAGS RR all of the time. They don't limit me. I use them at HT more than Walgreens to be honest.

    • Lisa B

Well darn–I spent a half hour yesterday typing up an account of some really great deals I had put together that aren't included above and made several things free or incredibly cheap. I submitted it and I got a message saying it needed to be moderated. It still hasn't shown up here a day later … I'm sort of bummed because I really wanted to share the amazing deals with others. Did I post something wrong that made my comment get rejected? It would be great to know if I somehow inintentionally violated the guidelines here.

      • MarieNC516

Your comments are on this page. They also appear to have been posted before you posted this. Thanks for looking out for everyone by giving us a heads up on additional deals. we all appriciate it.

        • Lisa B

OK, I swear they weren't there when I wrote the above ;-) Maybe it took a while for them to get moderated but that had been “date-stamped” from when I originally submitted? Also, is it the links that get them moderated? Because not all my comments get sent to moderation …

          • Guest

Yes, it's the links to other websites that make them go to moderation. Great deals!! Thanks for posting!

    • guest

I went today and had a $2.50 coupon for Excedrin PM from one of the inserts I cant remember which now. They were on sale for 2/$5 so I got it for free!

    • guest

Is anyone else having trouble with some of the online coupons printing out and not having numbers in the barcode, or is it just my computer? I have several that do not have a barcode and I was not able to use them at Food Lion today. I have never noticed it before so I dont know if they have taken them at HT like that before or not.

      • guest

Well I went today and tested one out at HT and they took it, so I guess I will just stick to HT which I like better anyway!

    • TheChapleigh

So Excited! The Purina Dog Food online store Q ($3.00) stacked on top of the internet printable Q ($2.00), bringing my price down to $3.00 for dogfood that initially started out being $15.00!! LOVE THAT!

    • Joolz2010

Ok is it just me or is anyone else's shopping list printing so small you can barely read it??? I check my settings and everything looks fine. Would one of my fellow couponer's please try to print and let me know if the same happens to you? Thanks!

      • Guest

From one of my computers, the list prints in normal-size print. From another one it prints really small, so I always do a print preview and adjust the percentage before printing. Not sure if when you said you checked your settings if that is what you did.

    • Livserge331

Hey, heads up, you guys! I opened a new box of Ziploc Sandwich bags today while doing holiday baking (these were from a previous sale at HT 7-8 months ago) and there are 75 cents off any Ziploc container coupons inside! These are BOGO this week at $3.69 I believe, so half price is $1.85 – 75 cents doubled makes them 35 cents! Not bad for the nice holiday containers and they will be a great addition for me with all the Krusteaz baking I'm doing (from the Publix sales this and last week!!)

      • Livserge331

Actually, it looks as if the containers are $3.49, which makes them 20 cents after sale and coupon! Even better!

Also, for what it's worth, the Gorton's Shrimp Fried Rice bowls are horrible. I'm not a picky eater and I love Asian stuff, but they just… were not good. The rice and veggies were mushy and the seasoning was wrong. I couldn't eat it all and that's a rarity for me. So stick with the popcorn shrimp for this week's deal on Gorton's.

    • Jennytoldastory

Nature's Path Waffles did not ring up on sale in Asheville, NC….Bummer!

    • shaz

has anyone had the coupon print for buying 2 ziploc?

    • Ann in VA

At my HT there were peelies on the 24ct Deer Park water-$1/2. After the e-Vic sale and the regular sale price, I got 2/$6.

    • Gail

      what is “after college savings”?

On my last trip to HT (Sunday) I really scored on bacon! I was browsing the bacon section. I didn't notice it right away but found Bubba Bacon $2.99 with $2 off yellow stickers on them. I bought 10! There were plenty left for others too. The expiration is 12/16 so I'm sure that's why. My kids LOVE bacon and aren't picky about the brand just the way it's cooked!
