Wait, are they doubling up to .99 or 1.98? I'm confused.

      • Doubling up to $1.98! Is my math wrong on something? The numbers all run together by Tuesday night :)

i went to the website and printed it from there

      • Brandy

        23452 worked yesterday

        • kelly1369

I can't get that one to work for me :( If I'm making the drive, I think it's better to double the $1 off of 2 because then I use less coupons… :( grrrr I need it to work! lol

    • speakparables

I'm confused, too…. in the previous Harris Teeter post you said this…

      Coupon Policy
They will double 20 coupons per day that are $1.98 or less
You must use your VIC card for coupons to double
Tip: Only plan to use coupons that are $1 or more! Everything else will double on any normal week.

So now they are not taking coupons more than 99 cents??

      • nichole

This is my take on HT….Using the $1 and more coupons this week will help YOU because HT usually only doubles coupons 99 cents and BELOW.

This week by using $1 or more coupons you have the chance of doubling up to 1.98 on each coupon (up to 20 per day) ..You can still use the 99 cent and below coupons, its just if you are like me you can do that any old week!! :) Its more exciting to use my 20 coupons for $1 or more….considering they are 45 minutes away from me, I'll only be making one trip. :(

    • jen

    • Ali

question: I haven't printed Lunchable coupons since, like, september, but it tells me that I've printed the # allowed… same with new england coffee… is there something I'm not resetting?

    • michelle

anyone know how to get the printable Old Orchard coupon? I don't see it from the link. It is my hubby's favorite, so i would love to get the coupon!

      • Leslie

Try going to their website and print.

        • tariro

I still cant get it from the website

          • Jen

I can't get it from the website either. It's not there. :(

    • My HT will not let you use a $1/2 on two bogo items since you are not allowed to use a coupon on the “free item”. So you'd have to buy three to use one $1/2 coupon. Why I don't shop HT anymore.

      • AE

Why? Because you can't scam the company on BOGO items?

        • Virginia

Wow, that was rude. Trying to use a coupon that is valid for the item you're buying is not 'scamming' the company. HT is the ONLY grocery store I know of that has that crazy rule of not allowing a coupon on each item when it's on sale bogo – if it was 'scamming' to use a coupon on each item, HT would not be the only grocery store that doesn't allow it – ALL grocery stores would forbid it. We don't know why HT has this rule, they just do. But you don't have to be rude to people who don't like the rule. Everyone's allowed their own opinion and if someone doesn't like a rule and chooses not to shop at a particular store b/c of that rule, then fine, let them shop where they want to shop and leave them alone.

          • Virginia

Oh, and if you purchase 1 bogo item, it rings up at half-price and you are allowed to use 1 coupon on that 1 half-price item. So there are many people who do not like the 'one coupon per bogo pair' rule b/c it makes absolutely no sense for them to not allow you do use 2 coupons for 2 items in 1 transacion when there is no rule against splitting up the transactions and using 1 coupon on 1 item.

        • Wow- excuse you! I have been extreme couponing – and doing so HONESTLY for nearly two years now. Each item rings up half price and every other store I shop at allows one coupon per item scanned. There's no need to have this sort of attitude.
I choose not to shop at HT because their coupon rules are a little ridiculous and impossible to keep up with. That is MY prerogative. Just like your prerogative is, apparently, to be mean and nasty.

          • havcoupon

I had the same problem at Safeway last week. They would not take coupons where you had to buy two items on BOGO's. I hadn't shopped at Safeway in awhile but they had some stuff I needed on sale so thought I'd give it another try. Then I they had shrimp on sale and had a coupon for $2 off on their website. The clerk had trouble ringing it up. What he did was charge me regular price and then take the coupon off – the net effect was I got it for the sale price. I was pushed for time and did not have a chance to talk to the manager but think it may be awhile before I do Safeway again.

          • kelly1369

Wow, that makes no sense, you would think if you are using a manufacturer coupon they would be HAPPY to accept it on the free item, this way they get money back on an item they were willing to give you for free!

PS – Sorry some people are so ugly :(

      • Crystal2756

Sorry to hear that Brandy :(. I was at HT this morning and got some amazing deals. ONe was the Lysol wipes BOGO- the cashier let me is a $1/2 coupon for them- I think it must vary store to store. The website's policy isn't clear (IMO) about BOGO items and coupons- it says 1 coupon can be used on BOGO items- but does not address if $1/2 coupons are acceptable. I'm assuming each store has their own take on this. They really should clear it up though so all the stores are on the same page

        • Katie

I wish it were as “simple” as one store having one policy and another having a different… At my Harris Teeter in Rock Hill, SC, some BOGO deals will let you use a coupon for each items purchased, and some will beep at you if you try to use it on the “free” one. My neighbor just brings them up and if they go through, great, if not, she puts one back and pockets her coupon. I'm the sort that doesn't like the guessing game, so I usually just get one per transaction to get the best price (I'll try to stop back in again for a really great deal.)

Incidentally, the buy 2 get 3 have never allowed me to use coupons on the “free” ones, but they don't ring up at 1/5th the price, either! That one, I can understand.

          • Crystal2756

That really is strange- that some deals appears to be programmed not to let you use a $1/2 on BOGO. I'm going to a different HT tomorrow that has all the glade/febreze items I would like to purchase, I have a another $1/2 coupon for the lysol wipes so I'll see if it works at the other store as well.

If it helps anyone- I normally go to the HT in Norfolk,VA on Colonial Ave- and when I have dr's appts for myself or my daughter we will go to the larger location in Virginia Beach,VA. I must say- I've never had a negative experience at a Harris Teeter anywhere around here, where as at Kroger I've run into a few very rude cashiers. One girl literally slammed a coupon back on the check table at me telling me I couldn't use it because I didn't purchase that item…. turns out I purchased it and I nicely showed her from my cart. I know this has nothing to do with this post, just wanted to get that out :) I love Harris Teeter!

        • read2kds

It is varying by store…I just shop twice and use my coupons both times…buying only one item at 50% off on each trip!

          • Christi

i've got a question kind of related to this… The Purex is on sale this week, not B1G1, just on sale – there's a $1/2 q and then i just got my red plum for sunday and there's a B1G1 on Purex in there… I know there's the rule of 1 q per item, but if one of those requires you to buy 2 items, i can't still use two coupons on two items can i? I was hoping i could buy 2, use the $1/2 coupon, and then since they aren't free and i'm still paying for them, use the B1G1 coupon… is that too good to be true? Any feedback would be great! Thanks!

            • Virginia

Normally $1/2 coupons are actually coded so that they attach to 2 items in the register – so the register has to actually 'see' 2 items in order to accept the coupon. Often bogo coupons will only actually 'attach' to 1 item, allowing you to use another coupon on the item you are 'buying' in order to get one free, so that you can get 1 free and then get $$ off of the other one. However, you cannot use a bogo coupon along w/ a $1/2 coupon if you are just buying 2 items – the register will want to see 3 items in order to accept both coupons.

      • mommyhlk

It isn't a free item. It is half price/half price. I always call the manager over and sometimes they will over ride. It just depends on the HT. I rarely have a problem with BOGO and using $1/2

    • wendylaine

the Q's for perdue chicken says it was on 2/14 did anyone get that in their paper?

      • Mindy

Yes, I got it in the Charlotte paper.

      • Jennifer

I can't find it on the POst & Courier in Charleston either! ANyone in Charleston see it and I'm just not looking in the right place?

      • Beth

I did receive it in Charlottes Sunday paper, but there is another of the same coupon on the back of the Living Section of the Observers Wednesday paper too!

      • paigewilliams2003

I was also able to use that coupon for their ground chicken which is on sale 2/$5 which made them 50 cents each!

    • shyone750

Is there a way to access SS coupons online from previous days like 2/07 and 1/31, etc

      • Virginia

No, you must actually have the paper inserts from those days, or else you have to find a source online that runs a 'coupon clipping service' where you can pick and choose the coupons that you want and have them mailed to you for a small fee. You cannot print them online anywhere.

    • clintscott1966

Ok, I am new to this. I know I will only have one or 2 coupons for the same item at the most. So, say I need to buy six boxes of cereal b/c we eat a box a week, would I only be able to use coupons on two or am I missing something?

      • joquena

You got it! You need a coupon for each item, unless the coupon says save …. on 2,3,4 etc. If the coupon does say it's for multiple items it only works for 1.

I am not new to couponing, but I am new to HT. I just moved away from my beloved Publix- oh, how I miss them! We do have one HT, and I'm planning on shopping there for the first time tomorrow. A couple of questions: Is it 20 qs per day or transaction? (i.e. can I use the same card with 2 diff. transactions and 20 qs each?) Is overage given on coupons that when doubled are more than the value of the item or do they just “double” up to the value of the item? Now to go get my neglected coupon binder in order- I don't like moving much.

      • Sarah

        20 qs per day/VIC card

      • Virginia

It's 20 coupons per day, and it is tracked by your VIC card. You can split up the transactions if you need to (say you find 10 of the items you're looking for at 1 store but need to go to another store to find another 10 items, you can do that and all 20 coupons will double). But you cannot exceed the 20 doubled coupons – the computer will stop doubling your coupons after you reach 20 for the day.

As a general rule, don't expect overage. 'Back in the day' there was overage galore – we got it on sale items up to the regular price of the item on sale – but HT changed their registers awhile back and did away with overage. There are a few exceptions, but that is the general rule.

    • Just One in the crowd

Oh Lord! Watch out Harris Teeter! The southern Savers are coming! lol ;)

    • caseman1969

I got up early to get to my 24 Hr Harris Teeter in Mooresville, NC to find out they do not open until 6AM. HMMM. Do they use different time than the rest of us? At least the website said they were 24 Hr. So I am trying to get 20 items and make it to work in Salisbury by 7, when a nice manager type informs me that the Super doubles do not start until 7… when I need to be at work. And of course the things I was going for were already slim pickins'… So we will see this afternoon on my way home if anything is left. Probably not. Lesson learned

      • GP

The great thing I find about HT over Kroger or Publix is that they are GREAT about restocking each night…when they have sale items, they have plenty to restock all week. Also, if you think you can't get back that week, ask for a raincheck at customer service.

      • Beckett

Salisbury's HT was not picked out – I went at 0700 (when they open) and back again on my lunch hour. HTH

    • tatumoc

Will HT honor other stores coupons? I have some print outs from Food Lion.

      • bees03

My HT does honor other store coupons and takes walgreens register rewards.

        • sundrop474

Also just a note, their policy (I contacted another HT also) is that $/$$ are AFTER coupons! I tried to use my RA Q today but didn't have $25 AFTER Qs. So my total was $5.09 instead of .09. Still not a bad haul for almost $40 worth of items. Happy shopping.

      • Coupon Keri

It is their policy to take Competitor coupons off the total price and have to be an acutal ad coupon, not a printable. What that means is that the coupon has to be $4 off a $20 purchase or similar. Walgreens Register Rewards say a total amount off your next purchase so they are acceptable. However, you are not supposed to use any $4/$20 or similar coupons printed online. Their policy prohibits that. Some stores will take internet printed coupons, but thier policy states otherwise.

        • tariro

So is this coupon policy written down somewhere so I can show the cashiers . My HT is so persnickerty at times

          • Virginia

Go to Harris Teeter's website, and type in 'coupon policy' in the search box – that will bring up their official coupon policy which you can print out if you need to.

      • Virginia

Ht's official policy states that they do NOT accept internet coupons from competitors – so Food Lion printable coupons are not accepted. They also do not accept competitor's coupons for $$ off of individual items, but they DO accept competitor's coupons for $$ off of your total order (like if you had a coupon from another grocery store for $10 off any $50 purchase, they would take that).

    • Linda

Thank you soooooo… much for all that you do to make it possible to post the ads with coupon match ups. You are a blessing to my whole family. I have learned so much from your site.

    • pdtskyprincess

I wanted to say Thank You Jenny!! I just went to Harris Teeter and used my 20 coupons for the day. I also had a 5 off 20 coupon from Rite Aid and I used my Walgreens register rewards. I bought a sub for a splurge (they are 3.99 this week) and spent 88 cents total. Without any thing the total would have been 83 dollars. I enjoy a great deal!

      • Virginia

You are very lucky that your store took the RA 5/20 – official policy says that they don't take competitor's internet printed coupons – but apparently some stores are more lenient than others. Just putting it out there so people realize that they can't *expect* their store to take that coupon, but they might possibly get lucky.

    • Karen

Just a heads up on the Ken's salad dressing. Mine rang up at buy 1 get 1 off of $3.55 instead of $1.99. Either the shelf tag is on the wrong item or their computer is off…(or maybe I was blind and picked the wrong jar!) Just check your receipt. This was the Hendersonville NC store.

      • Samantha

I used a 10 off 50 coupon from our local Lowe's foods to bring my total down even more. I had hit 46.xx with all of my coupons and the cashier waited patiently while i got some diet pepsi (and then a candy bar) to get that extra 10 off.

The Hormel pork tenderloin was 4.99 and many had extra 2 off coupons from the meat dept (in store yellow coupon). Combined with the $1 off (doubled) – a super deal on marinated pork tenderloin for 99 cents. Wish I could have bought more!

I saved 107.92 off my order of 42.15, including the full price pizza and diet pepsi and candy bar.

      • mary

YES! Same thing happened to me!! I just checked my receipt (I was “supposed” to get everything for free and just pay tax based on my calculations), but I was perplexed as to why I had to pay $2.55… did the math and it was the Ken's salad dressing. Boo. The only reason I bought them was b/c I thought I was getting them for practically free!

      • Heather

I noticed the same thing at the Hendersonville store. It looks like the 16 oz dressings are the B1G1 and those are priced at 3.55. The smaller ones are priced at 1.99 and they are not on B1G1. Took me a moment to figure that out in the store this morning.

By the way, How much do you love the new Harris Teeter in Hendersonville :)

        • kim

Heather, I hope you left me some good buys in Hendersonville! I had some late parent conferences and didn't get by there today…I will hope for a good restocking!

      • debbie

I also had an issue with the Ken's salad dressing and marinade. I had a $1 off 2 q for each, got two of each that were B1G1. When I checked out the cashier made me go get one more of each one. Can someone explain this to me please?

        • commented earlier on in this post that HT will not allow you to use a $1/2 on two bogo items because they do not allow you to use a coupon on a free one. At my store you would have to get three to use a x/2 coupon.

      • Amanda

Karen, If the shelf tag or computer were wrong, you should make them aware of it. They should give you the item for free if it's their mistake : )

        • Julie

I did read on the HT policy if a item rings up wrong “It is free”. I know most do not know this.

      • Beckett

No – I noticed same thing…so I didn't get them…also the smaller healthier “light” Ken's were 1.99 but not b1g1, soooooo in my opinion normal price of Ken's was 1.99 and they jacked it up. NOT a deal.

      • Hope

Mine did the same thing and then I noticed it was the smaller bottle of Kens dressing that was 1.99 but it was not BOGO..just the bigger bottles.

    • joan

boneless skinless chicken was actually $2.49/lb. (not $2.75/lb. as advertised)

    • melissa

hello. i was at the ht in waxhaw nc and was talking with the store manager. i wanted to meet him because i teach coupon workshops and i wanted to let him know i had been refering people to his store. i told him this because when ht does super doubles and triples they run out of the free stuff fast. i told him it is hard to refer people to his store but then in the same sentence tell them to get there within the first day or to of the sale because nothin will be left. he said i understand and then said, i found a website called southernsavers.com we are going to use this site as a guide on what to order extra of. when he told me that i told him that is the site i use and the one i refer other couponers to. so, just thought this was a neat story and wanted to share. thank you jenny for all your hard work.

      • michelle

i saw several southern saver users at the waxhaw HT! :) that makes it even more fun. too bad they didn't have the single serving starbucks!

        • momma2mmc

I counted 7 people (including one man) in the HT at Stevens Mill yesterday morning! I spoke to most of them or they to me. It's fun to see other people from SS at the store!

      • stephljones

Well Hello ladies!!!! I shop at that store sometimes…but, usually at the Indian Trail HT…

Have you guys found the Waxhaw Target to be less than accomodating to us couponeers?? Maybe if enough of us shop there, we can force them into submission!!!! Or, just head to Monroe…much better there :-))

        • carla

I never have a problem at the northlake target I know its a drive but when the 485 is done it might be easier than fighting for your deal :)

      • justincase1031

I tried posting this yesterday, but I don't know what happened to the post! This is not a reply to Melissa, just a question. What am I missing? I see this lots of times and I don't know how to come up with this math or is it just a typo? In the scenario above for B1G1 Old Orchard Juice at $2.99 ($1.99)
-$1/2 Old Orchard Juice printable (makes it 49¢)
How can that be? Should it read .99 instead of .49?
Thanks in advance for clearing this up!!

        • Robyn

The .49 is refering to the price you pay per item.

        • deniseCLT

if it's 2.99 regularly, it should be 1.49 (at the top it says 1.99) a piece w/the B1G1. so w/a $1/2 coupon, that'd come out to .49 each.

    • kgriffin14

How many of the same coupons can you use? Is there a limit? I have 5 bounty coupons, can I get 5 bounty items?

      • Lori

I believe you can only use 3 like coupons in one transaction, so maybe you should split up those 5 across 2 transactions. HTH!

    • narrowgate

My HT had House Autrey mixes for $2.79 each. Use the .75 off printable coupon. Brings it to $1.29

    • Crystal2756

There is also a $1/1 coupon for Purex detergent as well. Makes it $0.69 for the bottle! Sorry, I don't have a link to the coupon- I just googled it and found it this morning.

At my HT in Norfolk Virginia the 50count(snack and sandwich) ZIPLOC bags were on sale (with your VIC card) for $1.79 per box. I used the $1.50 off 2- so $0.29 per box!

Also the 35sq ft Reynolds wrap w/VIC card is 3.49. Use the $1/1 coupon to get it for $1.49.

    • KJ

Nestles monthly coupon is $1.00 off one package of Nestle refrigerated cookie dough (any variety)… doubled, that is $2.00 off. Go to Nestles website and sign up. (Few other smaller value coupons too.) Don't know the exact price of cookie dough but I am sure this will be a good deal for Super Doubles week… hope this helps… /Kelly

      • Anne

I looked tonight and the nestle is 2.69 making it .69, not a bad price. I still have extra in the freezer because I stocked up when Blooms had super doubles last time :)

    • Jolly

My Harris Teeter had some Whiskas Dry Cat Food on sale for 3.99.

$1.50 off Whiskas or Whiskas Purfectly Dry Cat Food printable at
      http://coupons.redplum.com/SouthernSavers/

      Made it .99 cent

    • JenK

So went to HT in Northern VA today got the evic deal for Barilla Pasta Sauce (limit 1) for 1.27. Not the best price, and I did not have a coupon. But the sauce is actually a BOGO item this week, so if you are an evic member, the price paid for 2 is 1.27. So .64 cents a jar is an okay price for me!

    • linda

Tuesday night I saw a printable coupon for “Soft Scrub, when I go back on its not threre , What happened? It was for 1.00.

    • Barb

Does anyone know if super doubles apply on St Simons Island, GA?

      • Margaret

Yes, Barb, they do. I live in Brunswick and usually go to Publix, but I always make a trip to HT on St. Simons during Super Doubles and Triples. :)

    • Lou

Prego Heartsmart Spaghetti Sauce is $1.99 in Franklin, TN..had $1 off coupon…made it free.

Also Kotex pantyliners $1.49 a box…$1.50 off of 2 coupon made them free

    • Brittney

I feel a little frustrated after going to our Harris Teeter this morning I noticed a few items listed were not carried by our particular store and several items were more expensive than this list indicates. I know each store and each city is a little different… I just felt disappointed. Thanks for all you do!

      • binkle

Yes, I had a frustrating trip too. I went in with about 60 coupons and only used 17 of my allowed 20 per day. The others were deals that weren't available in the Greensboro, NC stores.

        • Brittney

          In Wake Forest, NC.

Not on sale (or more expensive than indicated here) at my store:

          Orbitz Gum
Starbucks coffee (not free with $1.00 coupon as indicated)
The store did not carry Chinet napkins or Johnson's baby oil
          V8 Fusion
          Bayer Aspirin

        • soma

Hi. Go to Recyclebank.com and create your account. and they will give you some bonus points. and they will send you.

      • momma2mmc

And how did you get the Hawaiian bread free? My kids LOVE that bread for sandwiches so we go through it fast and it's not cheap! I would love to know how you did it!

      • Brittney

Did you have coupons for the produce your mentioned? How did you get it so cheap? (bananas, lettuce, etc.)

        • soma

Hi. try to take some quiz. http://www.ebfarm.com/WhyOrganic/OrganicQuiz.aspx
here is link. if you take a quiz. if you get all right. they will send you $1 off coupon of Earthbound organic produce. thanks!! lol

also Bananas B1G1 makes you 34cents per pound.
thanks and have a great day!!^0^

        • deniseCLT

Brittney, look to see if your store has a cart of clearance produce. My store starts marking down produce at about 10 am and setting it on this cart. Most of it is still good, but just needs to be cooked, eaten or frozen in the next day or two. I ONLY buy my produce from this cart now that I've discovered it. I've bought apples, grapefruit, mushrooms, spinach, asparagus, etc from it. If your store doesn't have one, check another nearby location.

    • Lindsay

Hi Guys, I wanted to check with some of the experts here just to make sure I understand correctly. The 20 coupons per day is kept up with on the VIC card, so I can't shop at two different HT's with 20 coupons each in the same day? Thanks!

      • Carrie_C

That's correct. But I use my mom's vic card for a second trip in the same day. She is not a coupon convert yet ;)

    • Kitty

I am unable to print my list. Can anyone help.

      Thanks

    • stephljones

I am so upset I'm about to cry, and I know that you guys will understand.

I spent several days organizing my lists, gathering my coupons, printing more coupons and figuring what I would buy on what days. Tonight I went to HT tonight and used my 20 coupons. Saved a bunch of money….

Now though, my envelope with the rest of my coupons and my receipt are missing. I can't find them in my car, my trunk, my purse, my coupon book….no where. I'm just scared I dropped them in the parking lot or something and they are gone….all that work just gone.

      Whew….it'll be ok….i'm sure it'll be ok…

      • Tracy

takes some deep breathes……..it will be okay! I do sympathize though because I thought I lost my whole coupon holder at a HT one time (I just knew someone took my cart with my holder in it :-( Lo and behold, my DH had moved our cart and I didn't see it. Sometimes it happens – after a little break try looking again. Good luck.

      • stephljones

I took a deep breath and decided not to cry….I called the store, and some wonderful person turned my little envelope in….ok….now I'm about to cry again!!

        • binkle

Awesome!! I almost teared up reading this. I can truly understand how that would make me cry after all that hard work.

      • jennifr1966

I'm so sorry. For what it's worth, I'm missing my cell phone, and I can't find it even when calling it!
I've started carrying my coupons like I carry my purse, even into the bathroom! I just started thinking about what an investment it would be for the right person, ya know?

    • deniseCLT

Johnsonville Summer sausage is B1G1 free at $4.39. There was a $1/2 coupon in the 1/24 paper (I think it was 1/24) so this ends up being $2.39 for both.

    • nancy

I love seeing other couponers in the store. If is see someone that looks like a qer i will even give some of my qs away that i had extra. or some that was not the right kind of food for me. and the same kindness has been shown to me in the past. it make for great time at the store meeting and greeting. lol.

    • momma2mmc

Anybody know if Bloom in Mint Hill is doing Super Doubles this week?

    • Heather

I spent over $32 before coupons, total after coupons was $1.68. Sweet! I got to stock up on things such as the Chinet cups for my husband's birthday party this weekend.

    • gcet

After much work and planning I made my trip to HT Wed AM. I like the idea that the coupons for a dollar are a whopping two dollars….but I learn something everytime I go. This time I had a coupon with the Target logo. The cashier told me that they do not take Target coupons. I explained that it was a manufacturer coupon. When I brought that to her attention, she called the manager. The manager informed me that with the logo, it meant that it had been generated at the Target site and was therefore a Target coupon. Has anyone else heard this from their HT? This was in Mt. Pleasant, SC.

      • guitarchic026

Yes, I shop at HT on Long Point Road. They refuse to take any of my Publix coupons (I shop at Publix on Daniel Island), and they also refused my manufacturer coupons with the Target logo. They're very picky over here.

      • chasgal

they wouldnt take a coupon i had that was a manuf coupon b/c it said “redeem at publix” on it. they did tell me tho that they tale the rite aid $5 off $25 purchase ones… odd (this was at the Mt P Teeter btw)

      • Lori

Longpoint HT is the worst. The cashiers are mean and they seem irritated that you even give them the coupons. The managers are worse. I drive the extra few minutes to the one on Houston Norcut. The ladies their are extremely helpful, and go out of their way to make sure you are pleased. It's almost like being at Publix. They even take competitor's coupons over there. Publix, Target and Rite Aid. Bonus – Rite Aid is right next door, so you can do that trip as well. :)

    • Jessica

My Harris Teeter had Comtrex Cold -20 count on sale for 2.94 and I had qs for 1.50. I got 5 boxes for FREE!

    • chasgal

People: please remember there are some folks out here that cant go to HT at midnight on the sale date, or shop early in the morning, b/c we work 8-5. Can you try to leave SOMETHING on the shleves for us…Please???? I mean, how many tubes of .29 cent toothpaste or boxes of Wholly Guacamole does one person really need? There will be another sale and coupon for it by the time you have used the 8 boxes you cleared the shelves of last time. All I'm saying, is its frustrating to go on say, a Thursday, and none of the advertised sale items/coupon items are left. The stores dont restock as fast b/c they want to have soemthing on the shelves! Please be considerate, and lose the “IT'S ALL MINE MINE MINE” attitudes. Jenny works hard to make sure we can all share the wealth… thnx

      • Mike

I know it can be frustrating but it also part of the fun on these super sales. I have to disagree though about leaving items if you have coupons and can get a good price. If I put in the time to keep up with all of this, I'm not going to leave free toothpaste on the shelf…sorry just not going to do it. Now, I don't use every coupon just because it is free, but for the things we use that don't expire, I will continue to stock up. That is sort of the name of the game isn't it. Also, remember you can ask for rain checks on any of these items. I do it all the time.

    • Stephanie

I heard that HT will stack target cpn.s but will not do the store cpn.s only the target manufacturer's. Does anyone know?

    • Jennifer

I have a question they have the 8-roll brawny on sale this week for 5.99 and I have a cp for 1.00 so that would make it 2.00 off is that a good price for that…

    • justincase1031

Will someone please explain something to me? I have read through A LOT but I am still confused on some things. For example, listed above under B1G1 is Old Orchard Juice at $2.99 ($1.99), but with the coupon $1/2 that's printable, it makes it .49. How can that be? In order to use my coupon, I have to buy 2 which will put me at paying 2.99, then with my coupon applied (this week $1 coupon = $2 off) I would have to pay .99. What am I missing?

      • zionsmama2007

Just wanted to say I'm confused by the same thing….can you really use a $1/2 coupon on a B1G1 item?? I thought you're technically only buying 1 item, so some of the deals worked out above wouldn't be right….

      • Crystal2756

Yes, with the coupon for $1/2 it doubles to $2/2- so the BOGO price will actually just ring up half price for each item at the register. I'm horrible at explaining…. but your receipt will look like this:

        Juice 1.99
        Juice 1.99
        Man Coup -1.50
        doub coup -1.50

        total- .98

then add tax and all that fun stuff :)

        • Crystal2756

Although I should add- some stores will not allow you to use a $1/2 coupon on a BOGO items. Both of the Harris Teeters I go to have allowed it (i think?) for the Lysol wipes this week. I shop in Norfolk,VA and Virginia Beach,VA. There was some talk about this either on this post or the other HT doubles post about how each store tends to have their own theory on if this coupon use is acceptable. As I see it- the store gets reimbursed if they accept any coupon….. and since the items ring up 1/2 price instead of 1 @ full and 1 @ 0 then I think they should take a $1/2…. but thats just me, and unfortunately us couponers can't make the rules :) we just have to follow them. I saw go for it and try it! If it works it works- if not no big deal, you can either put the items back or buy 3. For this example (with the juice) the final cost would then be $1.32 per bottle. I honestly don't buy juice often so I have no clue what a decent price for juice would be.

      • MelRae

The 99 cents is for 2 bottles…thus 49 cents each bottle.

    • Becky

I don't know if someone already posted this, but the Hormel pork loin was on sale for 4.99. There was a $1q which made them $2.99

Also, the Johnsonville summer sausage was on sale with $1q as well. Sorry but I don't remember which inserts but they were Jan or Feb

      • khubbard

Could you please tell me where the coupon is for the Hormel pork tenderloin?

    • phyllis

can you tell me if Harris Teeter accepts Traget coupons?

    • alicia

Got $37.97 worth of grocerys for $2.90. SO EXCITING!!

    • deniseCLT

just got a new e-vic email. including: tropicana oj for 2.27, dannon 4-pack for 1.00, grape tomatoes for 1.50, success rice for 1.99 and hunter gallon of milk for 2.47. the email said these offers are “targeted specifically for my household” but i'm sure many of you will get this as well.

      • Mine is slightly different, so they are definitely targeted specifically for different households.

    • deniseCLT

also, there was a $1 off coupon for Duncan Hines Whole Grain muffin mix in the Better H&G and Southern Living Feb. issues. The cinammon flavor was on sale at the HT in Concord for 2.89, so it was .89 a box.

    • So, how many pounds of Barilla pasta has everyone bought so far? I bought 10 yesterday and 15 today and plan to go back for more. I noticed today that my store has an extra huge shelf near the entrance that is stocked full of Barilla pasta and sauce. I also was disappointed that the Starkist tuna for $1 was gone at the usual spot, but then delighted to find a whole bunch of it stacked up at another location in the store. Good management! If something appears to be out, be sure to ask an employee, because they might have it in a different location.

      • yadayadayada

wow, really? …15 pounds of pasta? and youre going back for more? good gravy that is greedy unless you are planning on donating it to a food bank, or are hosting an Italian family reunion for 75. you were probably the one who took it all so there was none when i showed up….

        • Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, yadayada? You must not have a very big family. 15 pounds is enough for 7 meals at my house. And like I said, there are shelves and shelves full of it in my HT. I didn't take “your” pasta.

          • stephljones

I got several boxes today…and I too am going back for more tomorrow!!! I don't have a big family….but, It would also be nice not to buy pasta for a looooonnnng time!

BTW: I also bought Laughing Cow Cheese…I know it is kind of pricy, 5.45 and I bought 2, but, with my $1 coupon that doubled it was a treat i felt we deserved.

Bonus*** There is a $1.25 coupon for Babybel cheese in one and $1. off in the other. Totally feel that it is worth it now!

          • rebekah

plus it doesn't go bad. it's a great time to stock up. pasta was on my banned list cause my stockpile is so big but i just couldn't pass it up. and it's calling me to go back for more. :)

I love super doubles don't get me wrong but when is triple coupon week coming back. That really gets me excited

    • momof1ben

Super doubles are great but has anyone heard when triples is coming back.

      • Virginia

No one knows until someone knows. And right now no one knows. You'll find out a few days or maybe a week if you're lucky before the event actually happens, just like the rest of us. They don't schedule these events very far ahead of time, and we are very very lucky when employees actually leak the info even a few days ahead of the event.

    • justincase1031

While at HT today, I noticed Nabisco 100 cal snacks were on sale for 2.99 and had a coupon attached to them for 1.50. That made them FREE! They had several flavor choices available.

    • nancy

i had to take a break today from couponing i ran out of time and now i am tired. but i feel a little guilty. I did stock up on toilet paper. and cereal. jenny i like your price list. very helpful.
      thank you so much.

    • nancy

    • kelly1369

does anyone know a working zip code for the old orchard juice? My lil boy LOVES that juice and I've been looking for it to go on sale. I'm gonna do the drive to HT today and want to be able to get it!

    • Betty

does anyone know of a coupon workshop near Shelby NC???? I looked under the workshop tab above, but I was just wondering if someone else taught a class.

    • wendylaine

I AM STILL FUMMING about my trip to Harris teeter last night. I wasn't able to go when the sale started because i live 45 miles away, so i called to ask what day they restock. i made the trip there they were out of half of the items on my list the other half of the items were different prices than the list Jenny provided. i understand that all might vary slightly, but this store seemed much higher priced. I asked to make sure they didn't have more of the items i wanted in the back and the person i talked to said no they don't get their truck untill friday NIGHT (not what i was told on the phone)but that i should of course ask for rain checks. Then when i was checking out they wouldn't take one of my coupons for the SeaPak she said that because they were BOGO i could only use ONE coupon. I had several other items in my cart BOGO that had already rung up perfectly fine but i didn't point this out for fear that she would go back and change this. Then when i asked her for the rainchecks she said they wouldn't give them during double couponing week and that i would just have to make another trip before it ended. ( YEA RIGHT like i will drive another 90 miles round trip for another unsatisfactory visit)

      • rebekah

        that's such a bummer. :(
they should have given you a rain check. i've never had a problem getting rainchecks, no matter the week. the raincheck is for the price, not the superdoubled coupon. so, for example, if poptarts are $1.50, they should write a raincheck for that. if you have a $1.50 off 1 coupon, they won't double it next week when super doubles ends. the rain check isn't for coupons.
are you upset enough to call and ask the manager to mail you rainchecks?

      • Joy S

I Have felt this way before too. After you learn the way they do things more you can come out better.I have never heard of not getting a rain check at Harris Teeter.I have tons of them it seams. They do not ever expire so you can save them for the next Super Double or Triple coupon sale. If you match the rain checks up with coupons that tend to come back out again at a later date you can do very well and these items always seam to be in stock because they are no longer on sale. Sometimes I do better using rain checks when new coupons come out and they have a higher amount. When they do not let me use 2 coupons for both B1G1 items I make sure they take that 2nd item off. You have to always remember to buy only 1 B1G1 item if using coupons and want the best deal at HT and to take a lot more coupons than you think you will use just in case the items are gone.

    • stephenson

Very Excited!! I spent $110 dollars at HT this week, (had to get a few extras for my DH) but I saved 145 dollars, $80 with coupons, the rest with my vic card!

    • deniseCLT

if you have a coupon for B1G1 for a product and also have another coupon for a dollar off amount, can you use them together at HT? for example, I have a B1G1 for Endust and also a $1.50 off of Endust. I know you can use them both at CVS, but wondering if anyone's done this at HT??

    • Jamell

I found Nabisco Cheese Nips at my HT at a BOGO price of $2.39. Used $1 off 2 Nabisco crackers; paid .39 OOP for both after coupon doubled

    • Maria

At my H&T in Rocky Mount I've always been treated well. In fact, I emailed corporate about specific employees. Sadly, can't shop for coupon deals until 7:00 am. They are great about beginning to scan stuff so I can pay right at 7. It is a challenge shopping and getting child to school and self to work on time but it is possible. I usually only buy one or two of the deals the first trip.

    • KC

I clicked on the printable coupon for Old Orchard Juice, but it was nowhere to be found in that list of coupons. Help?

    • Will

Try to plan to go early and when you suspect the store will not be busy. Take your time and separate your order out so that you only use 3 coupons per product per order and 1 per BOGO item per order. I sometimes have 15 separate orders when ringing out, pain in the neck but I get all my stuff for free. Find a good cashier also, be nice to them and they will be the best asset you have in saving money, I give mine coupons for free stuff all the time. They always get my coupons to work!!! It takes a little time to get the tricks down but I promise you will be smiling the whole 90 miles when you bag a couple hundred dollars in products for 15 – 20 bucks or even better 4-5 bucks. If I were going that far I may think of borrowing a vic card from a friend and shopping twice.

Prices may be off sometimes but are usually pretty close, think of it as a guide and bring back up coupons just in case they do not have the products you want. It is for sure when I do not bring all my coupons I need them.

Well, good luck and keep at it, I assure you it pays off once you get the hang of it!!!!

    • Arvind

Can u print these? I hope u get the coupons also to print!!!

    • Norie

I can't find the coupon fro Old Orchard Drinks 2/100 off when I go to the link it is not there

    • jennifr1966

I have a wonderful tip, but it must be done by tomorrow (Tuesday). Instead of a couple dollars at HT, go to Food Lion, but not til getting your BlueBunny.com printable first! Print out your $1 Off coupon then march to Food Lion. Their blue bunny ice cream is on sale for $1.88, making your price 88 cents for ice cream! If they're out, all the better. Limit of 4 plus rain check means you have your pick anytime between now and the end of March! Good luck!

thinking of making another trip but i have a question if i have 20 coupons that are doubled then i have a stack of b1g1 can i use them even though they wont be doub?, or does the register work like the one at k-mart where the coupons are directly connected to the item or items.

      • Joy S

The B1G1 coupons do not count toward the 20. Also if you use coupons over 2.00 for some sale items they do not count.

    • Joy

I used the coupon for Free Purex complete 3-in-1 from Sunday's paper when I purchase the Purex on sale for 2.70. I can not find the Purex 1.00/2 coupon and the .35 coupon is expired. I also purchase the Hormel pork loin roast for only 2.99 after the 1.00 coupon doubled. You can freeze these roasts for later too. The Extra Strength travel size Tylenol is 2.50 so makes it .50 after the 1.00 coupon. It is a great purse size to carry.

Just thought I would share this with everyone so you may want to try it on the last day of the sale. Also don't forget the the great sale price on Alpo (after the 1.00/4 coupon) for your dog! :)

My HT (MT. PLEASANT,SC) just informed me today that they will NOT take any INTERNET COUPON THAT IS FOR A FREE ITEM. Meaning that the tuna coupon where you buy 2 and get 1 free that I got on-line, was not accepted. They said that they are getting ones that are scams and not getting their money back so they do not allow them… They also has a sign posted next to the KEN’s salad dressing that had all their coupon regulations listed.. I think they are trying to crack down on us saving money??? Who know?
