looks like i will be doing the bulk of my deals at harris teeter this week! thank you for your hard work!

    • Lydia C.

There was a Seapak recipes/coupon book in Harris Teeter a few weeks ago. It was by the lunchmeats in my store…not sure if it was everywhere or whether it's still available. Just wanted to let you all know just in case though! It has 2 coupons for $1/2 Seapak items.

    • michelle1503

Ive been dissapointed with Harris Teeter since super doubles week, hopefully they will pick up soon with more newspaper coupons, not just printables.

      • CRB

I couldnt agree more! I have not been excited AT ALL since doubles. Don't know what the deal is?

        • michelle1503

HOPEFULLY its because they are preparing for triples week!

    • Leslie

There was a coupon in the paper for $1.50 on ground beef when you buy 2 classico sauces. It was either 3/7 or 3/14 I can't remember which insert.

      • Stacy

It was on 3/14 :) Thanks!!

    • http://www.facebook.com/people/Pauline-Fowler/700296905 Pauline Fowler

Two weeks ago, I had a problem at the Florence store. They would not take two coupons for two of the B1G1 items. The items were not listed as “item rings at half price” in the paper and at the register the second was free after paying full price for the first item.

      • beth

I have had that problem at HT in Lancaster, SC also with 'some' BOGOs in the last 2 weeks and using 2 coupons. The register will accept 2 coupons on some BOGO deals but not on other BOGO deals.

        • Roxie

There is no HT in Lancaster, SC.

          • Jolly

Its in Indian Land…but its only about 10 or 15 minutes from Lancaster, SC.

      • mandkmom

The store policy is only one coupon per B1G1. So the store is only enforcing the policy. You can always make 2 trips/transactions to use 2 coupons.

    • katrinaryder

Mission Tortilla print campaign seems to be over and I'm having trouble with the Nature's Own printable. :( Maybe no carbs for us this week.

    • Christy

I spoke with someone (I don't want to say who) at my HT in Aldie, VA. They stated that triple coupons would be the week before Easter, so lets keep our fingers crossed!!!

Also, Jenny thank you for all the work you do. You have saved me so much time and money! With three kids aged 5 and under, I can use all the help I can get. You are a blessing.

      • Curtisa

I hope so, because I have alot of coupons that expire 3/31 and I love triple coupons week. I am keeping my fingers crossed :)

      • justincase1031

Easter is on a Sunday, April 4, so I am just wondering, *IF* they are going to do triples, will it be during the same week as Easter (March 31- April 6) , or like next week, (March 24- March 30).
Kinda confusing to say the week before Easter when sales run from Wednesday to Tuesday and Easter is on a Sunday!! :)

        • http://nccouponqueen.blogspot.com/ Petrina

I've heard rumors on different sites that it will be from 3/24-3/30. I need to start getting my q's ready for this!

        • guest

It is more likely that they would do it the week that's completely before Easter – they do not run special coupon promotions (triples/superdoubles) on holiday weekends b/c they are already slammed w/ customers. If they took a holidy shopping weekend and added triple coupons, it would be a disaster in the store. I'm hoping for 3/24…..

      • kristanlynn

        what is the tripple coupons??
something to be excited for i assume, still new.

        • Kris

Harris Teeter runs special weeks where they triple coupons up to $.99!

    • Meredith

Ritz & Other Varieties are $2.99, purchase any 3 (including things like Oreos) and get $3 off instantly. 3x$2.99 = $8.97 – $3 – $3 mfg cpns (crackers from a few weeks back plus the new pretzel kind from this past week) = 3 boxes for $2.97

      McCains fries – $2.99 – .75 mfg cpn = $1.50 each

      Barilla Picolini – $1.50 – .55 mfg cpn = .40 each

Tip on the ground beef – more store has 2 lb packages by default. To get more and stay within the 4 limit package I ask the butcher to make me 3 lb packs – perfect for 2 meals for my family.

      • Jenny

Barilla is on sale at my store, includes Picolllini and The whole grain.
        4/5
        with the .55 coupons
it is .15 cents a box. I got 4 boxes today for .60!

        • susan

where did you get this .55 coupon for the barilla?

          • guest

It came in the paper – 3/7 weekend in the Smartsource insert.

    • Jamie

HT in Governor's Square (Morehead City, NC) is doing triples this week.

Also, Blue Bunny champ cones are BOGO in my paper at $5.79. I got an email from Blue Bunny last week for $1 off any 1.75qt or frozen novelty ice cream….so that makes them $1.89 a box!

    • NCTransplant

I am really confused. I wanted to buy 4 Kraft shredded cheese packs. I had 2, save $1.00 on any 2 packages of Kraft shredded cheese packs (in store dispense coupons). The Kraft shredded cheese packs were BOGO this week. The cashier refused my coupons citing store policy. ??? Can someone help me understand this.

      • Marlene

I don't know exactly how to explain other than it seems to be hit or miss on these $1/2 coupons on BOGO deals – I had the same thing happen with a coupon for Ragu sauce.
HT policy is they will only accept one coupon on BOGO item, now they are also not always allowing the 1 coupon for x off 2 because the 2nd one is “free”. Yes this is just clearly dumb because of course neither is free, they are 1/2 price and you don't need to buy 2 items, but this is their policy and not much you can do other than write or speak to the store manager. The only way around it is to purchase a 3rd item – since that one is 1/2 price and not 'free'. OR try to buy 2 different varieties (ie mozzarella and cheddar so the register tags them seperately) or tell them to take the purchase off the bill and try again another day at another store or with another cashier.

      • Susan

It totally depends on your cashier — but they should have let you use at least one coupon. So if you bought 4 items that are b1g1, according to HT you are “buying” 2 items so you should be able to use 1 $1/2 coupon. IMO you are buying 4 and should be able to use both coupons but ymmv.

    • Brooke

my harris teeter has the coupon pads in the frozen foods section with a tear off for $2 off of 4 birdseye veggies. FYI

    • deniseCLT

avacados are 4 for $5 and Gum toothbrushes are B1G1 in charlotte

    • Ohara

what's the rules for triples? How much do they triple?

    • guitarchic026

Just got done at HT, was so disappointed this week. Went to the Long Pt Road Mt. Pleasant location, and they knew nothing about the e-Vic Trop50 special or the Crystal Springs B2G3 deal. Needless to say, I put those items back on the shelf.

      • MamaJ

The trop50, milk, and B2G3 deals aren't in my ad either…Charlottesville, VA

        • Krista

eVic is a special promotional price that is given to HT customers who sign up for it on Harris Teeter's website. If you are eligible for the Trop50 and other offers you should have gotten an e-mail about it yesterday. It will also print at the bottom of your receipt. If not, sign up for eVic on Harris Teeter's website to be eligible for next week's deals. Sometimes eVic is awesome, I've gotten lots of free stuff from being an eVic member.

    • jessica1970

There is a coupon for 1.00 off Crystal Light in the Kraft Food and Family mag that I got in the mail today.

    • Christy

On the Jose Ole deal-B1G2, you only have to buy 1, and you get 66% off. With the coupon, of course I printed 2, it's only $1.14 each!

    • vgwagoner

I got a bottle of FarmHouse Original salad dressing by Hidden Valley today for 99 cents! This might have been my best buy using coupons to date. Obviously I am new to this!

It is on sale and I had a $2 off coupon. It was not located in the isle with the salad dressings though, it was near my U-scan station.

I learned a lot from peoples posts just today.

      • Kendall

there was a publix couon for that hidden valley FarmHouse one.. so publix owed me $ after… worth a try on a new product for free:)

    • http://profiles.yahoo.com/u/TVWV46IFU27P37CT4FOM4KHNJ4 Ruya

does anyone know where to click to get the $1 Q for windex's website?

    • Lauren

FYI, At my Raleigh, NC HT I was not allowed to use the $1/2 Classico coupon and the $1.50 off beef with purchase of 2 Classico sauce coupon together.

I pointed it out that it said beef, but didn't keep arguing – trying to not give couponers a bad reputation :)

      • mar

        which HT was this?

        • Lauren

          Stonehenge Market, 7400 Creedmoor Rd

          • jlev

Ooh, that's my store too:) I've found that they'll usually give me the benefit of the doubt but I don't push it if they say no. I've found everyone except the self-check-out to be accommodating and friendly

            • Marisha

That's my HT as well, they usually over ride any coupon problem I may have. I feel guilty when they do it, but they always are bending over backwards there! Lauren, there are 3 other HT around here… Six Forks, Glenwood, Falls of Neuse… you could try one of them!

ps– do any of you know of a local blog that follows Raleigh store sales?

      • guest

I have not looked at the $1.50 coupon, but it is most likely coded for the sauce even though it says it's for beef. If it's coded for the sauce, then when you try to buy beef, 2 things of sauce, and use both coupons (the $1.50 'beef' and the $1/2 sauce) then one of the coupons is going to beep b/c the register thinks you're trying to use coupons on 2 sauces when it thinks you need 3 sauces to use it properly. The register can't read the writing on the coupon, only the code. It would be nice if the managers would put it in manually since you are following the spirit of the wording of the coupon, however some managers just will not push through a beeping coupon. Sorry you had issues.

      • ncangel

I went with my sister to the HT on Falls on Wed and didn't have any problem with the beef coupon. Her second Classico coupon beeped and the cashier pushed it thru

      • Krista

My Cary store is great. I knew it would beep for the beef (ha ha) because it's coded for the sauce. I handed over my $1/2 sauces coupon first and then handed over the 1.50 off beef. The cashier heard it beep and said something about me having too many coupons for the sauce. When I pointed out the $1.50 was for beef they had no problem overriding it! Loved that deal this week! I wish I had more beef coupons so I could get more free beef!

    • kcreviews

I have a question about the B1G2 Taquitos. Can I use 2 $1 off Qs if I'm getting 3 things?

      • Krista

At my store you can buy 1 of the Jose Ole deals and get 66% off (I think that makes it $2 something…) So you could buy them in individual transactions and use a coupon for each one :D

The Lysol toilet bowl cleaners and some of the Lysol spray cleaners are B1G1 in Charlotte, NC. With the $.50 c/o will be $.50 each.

Or you could wait until triples when it will be free. The sale continues through triples.

I had a hard time getting the Bristow, VA HT to honor the Jose Ole deal. The printed ad named the particular type and size. The size being slightly under what most of the taquitos were and the Chimachangas which WERE the right size were not listed as a type. They didn't even have any sale stickies marking the sale at all. The customer service manager found one type/flavor that met the strict criteria in the ad. They were out (there was only one row!) so he told me I was essentially out of luck. I pointed out that the standard size was obviously the 22.5 oz, since that's what all of the Taquito rows were except that one little row, and that it was the same price as the ones that he said met the strict criteria. He got a little snippy and would not give it to me nor did he offer to even scan it to see what the system would do so I left the store without buying anything on my lengthy list. After talking to my sister, she got the deal on all of the Jose Oles in Mt. Pleasant SC. I turned around and drove to the Gainesville VA store…they had them all marked as B1G2 so I just did my shopping there. Same ad for both stores.

My .60 off 6 Dannon yogurts wouldn't double along with e-vic. Does anyone know if this is a new policy — no doubled Qs paired with evic?

That coupon never doubles correctly since the price of the yogurt is less than .60. You have to ask them to manually double or triple it.

Thanks. I didn't notice till I got home. I thought I was already getting some kind of super deal, but didn't realize I had earned a 5.00 off “rebate” with my fresh food points. I still managed to get milk, yogurt, and coffee for about 5 bucks!
