Does anyone know if the Harris Teeter in Hendersonville, NC is having super doubles again this week?

      • gammagirl

They will be doing triples! I just left there and the guy was taking down the super double sign and hanging up the triples sign on the outside of the store.

        • Linda

          R U Kidding me?? I dont think I can handle that..Still recovering from a disappointing doubles trip…

          • gammagirl

I feel you on that. It was great having a list this last time, but I know I will miss deals during triples just because I don't figure them all out. I guess I could look at whats wiped out on the shelf to know what WAS a good deal, lol.

        • Jennifer

          Really?? Where?

          • Mxmom99

Hendersonville NC ad was for triples

    • Lwood311

      first!

    • Linda

Very new to couponing. I stopped by a Harris Teeter in Nashville, Tn and I knew it was the last day of double coupon. It was disappointing when the items I wanted were gone, ie. Dannon yogurt cups the Purex crystals and so on…I asked a HT employee and he said that he was sorry they were out everywhere. I asked him if they had a lot of people that use coupons and he said their are some there every morning at 6am when the store opens..Told me they do limit quantities and #of coupons, some times they don't have enough I was mostly upset because the time I spent getting ready to shop..Next time I will walk through the store and see if they have the items I need ..A Lesson Learned…Linda K.

      • Kcreviews

You can get rain checks for any items that are out of stock and they never expire. Of course, your coupons will, (and they won't double until the next round of Super Doubles) but you might be able to get the items in stock and still use your coupons later.

        • Bholmes75

my store will not issues rainchecks on coupon events. But I would call the corporate number and complain. I complained on wednesday because the item that they had in the ad was completely gone at 8:30am which is totally ridiculous.

      • Coupongirl28078

You should ask for a rain check. You can use it to get the items at the sale price once they are back in stock and the coupons will still be good unless they have expired. Of course, you won't get the super doubles benefits on a regular week though. Also, as a tip, if you do get a raincheck for buy one get one free items, get each raincheck for just a single of each item. HT doesn't let you use two coupons on the BOGO sales if you buy two at the same time. If you buy just one at a time, however, you can use one coupon and get the best deal. Hope this helps.

        • Laidbackladyoftwo

That can vary on where you are at, as far as the using two coupons on the BOGO. My harris teeter in charleston, sc lets me use two coupons for the BOGO items in one transaction.

          • Mhmazzoli

Really? Which one? I went to the one on Savannah Hwy and they told me they would only allow one coupon per BOGO.

        • Wvarner2000

My HT in Matthews, NC and Charlotte, NC let use two coupons on BOGO sales.

        • Linda

Thanks for all of your HELP and advice:) I did ask about rain checks and they said it would not be super-double coupon-able price if those are even correct words? I will not give up..I will also ask about trucks coming as well. I was not aware that you can go to several HT in one day I thought you could only go to one and if you used your max of 20 they keep up with it on your card??

          • Keep the raincheck until the next SD- depending on the item your coupon may not have expired or there may be other coupons available at that point.

          • Donna

You can go to multiple stores if one is out of something, but the limit is 20 couponds that will DOUBLE per day and they do track it on your e-vic card. So once you double 20 coupons, you're done for the day…though you can still use other coupons but they just won't double. Hope that helps!

I've started going before work on the 1st day of Super Doubles to get the best deals. After that I'll go for the stuff I know won't sell out right away and then usually my store restocks on Friday nights, so I go back early Saturday for round 2 of the best deals.

You'll get the hang of it – the last day of a huge sale is defintely going to be disappointing, unfortunately. Sorry it happened when you're new to this. Don't let it discourage you – you have to treat Super Doubles week differently than regular sale weeks for sure – go often and go EARLY! :)

            • Linda

Donna, thank you for you advice..I will be better informed on my next trip. My mom went in to long term care in Jan. so I am (solo) taking care of 100% of her household expense + her personal debt has to be paid all this on unemployment 680.00 a month. child support 700.00, 250.00 in EBT..I have 3 kids and 3 dogs and 1 cat, so I am having to save as much as I can on food and household needs so any real cash can go for bills..I am not whining just saying there are people who need this skill of saving money. Not just to have a basement full of TP and dish soap..God bless you all for you insight and kindness:)

      • jessica1970

I know how you feel. I work thus I can't get to the store until after 5 on weekdays. I've pretty much given up on super doubles. I didn't even set foot in my store this entire week. The savings can be spectacular, but really, how much Philadelphia cooking creme does a person need? LOL. The things I really want are always gone — Activia yogurts and Smart Balance milk.

        • Linda

yes your right, I dont even know what to cook with Ph cooking cream. I don't have time to cook anyway my daughter says im always shopping// LOL.

          • Mommy2Boys

There are some really great Philly cooking creme recipes out there! Especially for chicken/pasta dishes which my family LOVE.

          • Donna

The Philly cooking cremes I bought all had little recipe booklets on top of them (and each flavor seemed to have different recipes). They looked pretty good too – there was pot pie, several others.

I bet you could find some good quick recipes on the Philly site too. :)

          • savinmavin

I used the Santa Fe cooking cream with one of the recipes on top and my family loved it. Was a quick, easy recipe that had chicken breast (the cheap ones from last week), broccoli, red peppers, and pasta (some free one from the last few weeks) and it turned out great. Love how HT makes feeding the family cheap, great tasting and the deal seeking keeps my heart pumping!

      • Binker269

I always go to HT on Saturday. I know they are usually out of stuff, but that allows me to get a raincheck for the item. They usually restock Saturday nights, so I go back on Sunday to get the item when it is on sale. I get the items and have a raincheck for later. They don't expire.

      • Lisasauce

Hi Linda, It is very disappointing when you take the time to cut out the coupons and they don't have the items in stock. I recommend finding out the days the truck comes in to restock the shelves, and going that next day. Also, going at the begging of the ad week will help too.

        • Linda

Thanks for your tip! I will do this next time:)

      • Sharonam

So sorry Linda that you had this experience. The best time to go is on day 1 or day 3 of doubles and early in the morning. They are generally wiped out on the last day. Don't be discouraged, I saved over $1800 last year doing super doubles at HT. You can save a ton of money!

      • JenK

Linda, dont get discouraged. It can be frustrating, but you will find the best time to shop your store. Usually at the start of the sale, first day. Super doubles is great once you know the best days and times to shop:)

    • Kcreviews

I have gotten a Catalina for HT and FL stating that if you buy 3 or more Kellogg's cereals between 3/18 and 4/9 you will get a coupon for FREE gallon of milk (up to $3.59) on your next order. This makes the Kellogg's cereals deal even better!

      • Amystew

I did this this morning —two seperate orders and got a free milk on the second order and have a coupon for free milk I can use next week. Yea!

    • Bholmes75

the catalina for the lean cuisines reads buy 6 lean cuisines and 1 skinny cow get $5 off your next order I believe

    • Jeri

The coupon for Rosina Meatballs Italian Style, 12 oz, at $4.45 ($2.22)
Manufacturer Coupon -.75/1 Rosina meatballs, RP 3/06 is actually a DND so instead of .72 it will be $1.47

      • Rochelleswilder

The coupon begins with a “5” so it will double.

        • Donna

Some stores are more strict about DND's – mine will pull them out if they say DND on them (even if they start with a 5) and override them so they don't double automatically.

Just saying – everyone's store seems to be different on this because I've heard quite a few others say their stores are starting to pay more attention to the DND's.

    • Bbj1969

upon signing up and viewing the available coupons for the hormel products, I do not see one for -$1 off Hormel Always Tender meat,

      • Angie

I believe I got mine out of a SS or RP back in feb, cant remember which one.

    • Thimblefull

      What is catalina?

    • JCWooten

The Nescafe Taster's Choice coupons are for $2.00/2 so after catalina prints the 20ct. stick packs would be $1.39 ea. At least that's how I'm calculating that deal.

    • Rochelleswilder

the coupon bfor the meatballs begins with a “5” so it will double.

      • Guest

Our HT will not double DND coupons.

        • SD

My HT will. It depends on the mood of the cashier.

    • None

Does anyone have any idea how to access the .85 / 1 Chex IP? I receive an error message even if I am signed in to my psst act. TIA

      • heather

Same thing happened to me:( I thought maybe it was cause I was using Firefox?

    • Sigaduro

I used the pasta roni b3g1 free coupon this past week and when scanned, the register automatically took $2 off (this is the max allowed price free). So technically you pay $1.18 for 4 pasta or rice a roni. That is just less than 30 cents a box. Good price to stock up on.

      • Kcreviews

My cashier noticed that happening and made the manager come for an override so I only got 79 cents off instead of the $2 because that's how much they were.

    • Arineve

Does anyone else feel sad after super doubles week? I feel like nothing will make me happy….boo!

      • PBcoupons

It is bittersweet. I am exhausted from going to the store everyday sometimes several times a day. Whew….Now where can I put all these frozen vegetables.LOL

        • SD

Oh lord have mercy!!!! I thought I was the only one. But im all over the coupon clipping service already getting ready for supper doubles in 6 weeks.

          • Mommy2Boys

So SD's are every 6 weeks? This was my 2nd one and I'm MAJORLY hooked!! My husband says its a woman's version of playoff, lol. He doesn't get to see me in the evening :).

            • SD

Yep every 6 weeks like clockwork.

            • Shannon

I went to a class with Jenny last week and she said SDs are always the 3rd shopping week of a month. So the next SDs should be starting April 20.

            • Coupon Granny

Awesome! Thanks for that tip…thats even better.

          • Arineve

how do we know what we should be clipping in 6 weeks? Do you have ESP..hahaha! Is there a list or something? Thanks for the heads up!

            • SD

I dont have ESP, although I wish I did, but you can get coupons that dont expire for at least 6 weeks that are high value, you know a dollar or more, and hope they are on sale and if not you still you save big.

          • Saja

what coupon clipping service are you referring to?

            • SD

I like (couponsthingsbydede dot com) you may have to google it. Im not sure you can put web links on here.

          • How do you know they're doing it again in 6 weeks?

      • luv2shop

I know, right? I went to 4 this evening to grab the last things that I knew would last like the Kraft cheese for less than $1… YES! But… I am exhausted and looking forward to evenings at home again. This fell at the right time for me since I have relatives in all next week with growing boys who will go through food in nothing flat. Plus, now I will have the time to visit with them. Love my HT!

    • Tgriggs777

It appears that they have changed a couple of things in their coupon policy. It says that you can only use one coupon on BOGO. This makes no sense since they don't even make you buy two to get the sale price. If the single item rings up as being on sale, you should be able to use one coupon per item! Just my two cents worth!

      • RebeccaFer

That has been going on for a long time unfortunately. :( It used to be that you had to buy one to get the other free since the register would just ring up $0 for the second item. When they changed their registers, they should have changed their policy because I, like you, think it's nonsense to not encourage more purchases by allowing two coupons for two items. They still get paid the same.

        • iheartcoupons

I've never had a problem with this before, does it depend on the HT? Everything here rings up half price for BOGO and I used 2 coupons.

          • klh02

I don't have problems either. HT here lets you use 2 coupons on BOGO items.

            • Donna

I guess I've been lucky, at least in this one respect. I've used 2 coupons on BOGO's at HT since I started couponing back in September. If they one day tell me no at my store, I won't fuss. But I'll just buy 1 @ half off and use one coupon then get another one of the item later. This is the same store that pulls all printed coupons with DND on them so they don't double, so they're strict in some senses and not in others, I guess.

It seems to vary widely from store to store!

          • Marlene

Yes it depends on the HT because the cashiers have a post it at the register with the BOGO deals and are supposed to pull coupons before they get scanned.
they will only let you use 1 coupon for 2 items (unless you purchase them seperately). if you have $1/2 coupon they want you to buy 4 items to use 1 coupon. it's in their policy so don't argue with the cashier, they're just following the store's rules, but i agree it doesn't really make sense.

      • guest412

one thing that's worked for me in the past is to get different flavors/varieties of the B1G1 items so that they each ring up as a separate item at 50% off, instead of 2 of the same (where computer reads it as 1 at reg price and 1 free). i don't know if your store has the u-scan aisle but this can help sometimes too :O)

    • Sewobsessed

Is there a meal deal this week?

    • Guest

Does Harris Teeter allow you to “stack” manufacturer and store coupons for the same item?

      • Kcreviews

HT doesn't have store q's that I know of except the E-Vic specials, and yes you can use q's for those. HTH.

      • Marlene

you can stack the EVIC electronic coupons with paper coupons. Not sure that they have store coupons but anything that prints at the register is a manufacturer coupon that you can't stack.

        • mamabelbel

Twice I have received Harris Teeter coupons in a mailing. Not sure how or why since I have never seen them since. This was probably about a year ago. Could be when some Harris Teeters in town were remodeling or something. Anyway, they did stack with manufacturer coupons no problem. They were great and I have been hoping for more of those. So all that was to say, that there are some paper store coupons out there on occassion and they do stack. Must be pretty rare though.

    • Martina_schlabach

On your Bogo's seperate your order into 2 transactions. Then you can use 2 coupons.

    • Meredith Hilton Williams

Just went to Beau Rivage HT in Wilmington and the pork tenderloin is but one get one, not buy one get two! Kind of a bummer, but still good!

      • Jennifer

The ad states b1g2 online for the Harris Teeter website. Did you check the salespaper in the store?? I would present that to them. I bet they tagged it incorrectly.

        • CCShad

It is also B1G1 in Mt. Pleasant, SC – in the weekly ad, and on the website for that location. I guess it varies depending on area. :(

    • Marzetti Employee

New York Style is a completely separate company from New York Brand who makes the Croutons (which is actually T. Marzetti), and that coupon won't work for that item.

      • I'm wondering if she meant texas toast they are bogo for $1.09 each and combining with the $.55 coupon making them free plus there's an ecoupon for $.50 wyb giving you overage of $.50

      • Embutterfly75

I found this out the hard way tonight.

    • Kcreviews

At my HT the Pictsweet Deluxe Steamfresh veggies (edamame!) were on sale 4/$3, which, mixed with the $1/2 tear pad q I had made for a great price!

Also, the Lay's chips were $2.50 but if you have the $1/2 manu q it's just as good a deal as when they are B1G1.

      • Kcreviews

Oh, and I was loving the free brownies!

      • Eamullens

where do you get these tear pads? thanks

        • anna15nc

Not sure how often – once a month maybe my Harris Teeter (Salisbury NC) puts out a penguin cardboard standup in the frozen food section (ice cream isle) full of blue coupon tear pads. I will take 4-6 of each but I don't take all of them. I guess when they are all gone they put it away.

    • Familyplaytime

Does anyone have an address for an overseas miliary family that'd like to receive expired coupons? Expired coupons up to 6 months old are accepted at the overseas commisaries. All replies appreciated. Rhoda

      • Jcc1597

Go to http://www.ocpnet.org. A whole program devoted to sending coupons to military bases overseas. I send to a base in Germany.

    • SD

Attention shoppers! Check out your e-vic coupons. There is a Chex Cereal for .75 cents off which will make it .25 cents if you also use the coupon Jenny suggests also e-vic Betty Crocker Cookie Mix, Cocoa Puffs. Also check out couponnetwork dot com (its to the right on SoutherSaver home page) and you will also find a Chex cereal coupon as well as Betty Crocker cookie mix and Cocoa Puffs which will all double. Once these double plus your e-vic I bet some are free.

      • Cruxius

I thought E-Vic coupons couldn't be used with store or manufacturer coupons.

        • you can combine evic coupons with paper coupons says it on their ecoupon policy and if they give you any grief print it out and take it with you

          • Cruxius

Oh, it was that e-vic coupons aren't doubled. For some reason I was scared off of using e-vic coupons.

            • SD

e-vic coupons are great! Stack them with your paper coupons.

    • SD

Oh and keep in mind that e-vic coupons do not double but you can stack other coupons with them and the overage is a credit. You can only use each e-vic coupon once per transaction but when you get home you can reset it and use it again and again. I did this with the Sea Salt 3 times with no problem.

      • Kathyrbillings

        how did you reset it?

        • Sdougherty7

Just go back to the e-vic coupon page and it will be there and click on save. I find the easiest way is to just go to the HT ad emailed to me and click on e-vic coupons and find it there and then click save. Hope this helps. :0)

      • Kathyrbillings

        thanks

      • Linda

I cant even get mine to activate e-vic, let alone reset??

    • sessoms

Isn't that a great deal on boneless chicken breasts?

      • Donna

I thought so! I picked up 6 packages this morning! I did notice it said limit of 2 sets for the chicken. Does anyone know if that's 2 per transaction/day/week??

        • heather

It is a total for the entire week. So basically you can only do the deal twice.hth

          • Donna

Thanks, heather! Then it looks like I'm done since I already got my 2 deals! :)

    • Lizzywest

Has anyone heard that HT is doing Triple Coupons through the month of April as an Unadvertised Special? I heard from some friends and haven't confirmed it.

      • SD

I just got back from HT and they only did double on the 6 coupons I had.

      • JR

Talked to store manager at Harris Teeter at Hendersonville NC and he said they are tripling up to .99 through next Tuesday.

    • I signed up for e-vic and I got an email about Sea Catching or something from them however there is no link to the e-vic coupons. Is there another way for me to get into the e-vic coupons?

      • Actually I just signed onto my Harris Teeter Profile and it didnt say that I was signed up for the e-vic. I selected the e-vic AGAIN and then hit save. It just keeps saying an error occured. Has anyone else had this problem?

        • Linda

each week I try to activate my e-vic ..It does the- this log in or email is in use or not valaid. I wanted to download the e-vic coupons/ sale item. I did go to HT Tues and on my receipt it said vic savings, but nothing about e-vic? I am right there with you..Only started 2mts ago so new to this as well:)

          • Jhftc

go to the service desk and they will fix it for you…

          • Coupon Granny

OK I think I figured out the problem. Go to HT web site and login. This will put you at your account info. Where it says “my profile” to the right you will see “edit” click that and you should be able to just click the box of the program that you want to sign up for such as e-vic coupons and such. Give that a try and let me know if that works. :0)

      • SD

This is just a guess but from what I remember is that you have to wait one cycle (week) for them to get you signed up. You will get your e-vic email around Wed morning 6am and that will have your link to the e-vic coupons and such. Maybe someone else knows better?

        • Amystew

I use the links from the Wed and Friday evic e-mails.

    • Sdanorth

Going to do a WalMart test this weekend. Taking the list of things I got at HT today, and writing down what it would have cost at Walmart, then also the same list again substituting GV brand where possible. Has anyone done this? It will be interesting to see how it comes out. I'll apply the value of the coupons, but undoubled of course. I think the GV brand list will be the big loser, since coupons don't apply at all.

      • mommy

please keep me posted. i am so over SOME of the HT's and how the treat couponers like they are trying to steal from them. Had such bad experiences this week. I much rather just go to super walmart and get what I need each week.

        • mommywith2

Amen, I went to HT today to get more of the purex detergent that's b1g1 and the same lady that checked me out last week that took 2 coupons, they way I thought it was, for when you do b1g1 all of a sudden today said they can only take 1 for b1g1, I told her she let me last week and that she rang me up but she wouldnt budge. I thought you can use 2 coupons for b1g1 because your not really getting the 1 free they are just reducing the price on the two. I'm confused.

          • Mel

I had the same experience only with the Palermo pizza. bogo and I had a $1 off/1 for each. Lady said only 1 coupon could be used for a bogo that they are now enforcing the policy. I said technically it is not free, only half price but whatever. This was Charleston on Sav. Highway.

      • savinmavin

Can't wait to see the results.

      • Emhcoupon

I did this and HT slammed dunked the prices compared to Walmart. I was in sticker shock when I went. I so spoiled to getting everything 90% off.

    • Xraychik512

For the tostitos chips, the coupon is for the artisan recipes chips, are they on sale also? They are not showing up in my express lane.

    • Shannon

Is $4 a good price for Newman's Own frozen pizza? We really like them, and they're $5 this week and there are a bunch of printables for $1/1.

    • Amyb

Jenny – my HT also had a display last week of tearpad coupons which included a $1/2 Palermo pizza coupon as well as a $1/2 toaster strudels and $1/4 Lean cuisines – and a few others I can't remember.

    • Auntiecoco

Just called the HT in Hendersonville, NC and they are tripling coupons this week : )

    • Chattykathi

HT in Concord would not honor New York Texas Toast Croutons(.75) from the internet. At least one manager wouldn't.

    • Desperatehousewife1

Here is what I learned about HT this week. I have been couponing at one in Charlotte for over a year..After doing my Super Double coupons I realized that they do not give you overage. For ex. If your coupon is doubled for $1.5 and the product cost $1.25 the register will automatically make that coupon worth $1.25. So your receipt will read scanned coupon $1.00 then multiplied coupon$.25! Just thought I would let you know. Also I love this blog and thanks for making my shopping easier and most importantly less expensive!

      • Mhmazzoli

I noticed the exact same thing!

    • FYI: Harris Teeter has changed its coupon policy and NOT for the better. If you click my name above it will show you the major changes. Major ones include NOT being allowed to seperate orders to as they put it “get around coupon limits” which means to me that you cannot seperate B1G1s (which my HT allows allowed different flavors to be different items- and NOW they are seen as “like items”) BOO.

      • Sally

Well, that seems reasonable to me. I don't think they should allow separate orders or separating B1G1's to get around coupon limits or policies.

    • Flanpantsham

My HT in Clemmons took 6 of my Palermo coupons but, with the Newman's Own Salsas, of which I had 12, the guy said it was store policy to only accept 2 'internet coupons' (the barcode wouldn't scan & my cashier didn't know how to punch it in so they called over a manager guy)-so I bought the other 10@$1.49 anyway. Also, the Duncan Hines brownies were 2/$4 at my HT (I think above says 2/$2 makes it free w/50 cent coupon) so they were $1 a box-bought them anyway too but it didn't turn out as good as I though.

      • Mhmazzoli

So sorry about the brownies. Here in Charleston they are $1.00 so you can get them free.

      • Ljr4061

did they take your .50 coupon, they would not take my coupon.

    • Sewobsessed

      Same on the brownies here….

    • Smkaren9

go to a workshop if you get the chance, well worth it.

    • Mhmazzoli

I called a HT here in Charleston and there are no triples this week. She said she thought it would be awhile.

      • Ljr4061

        that was last week

    • Wilsonsj

Jenny says there is an Infusium coupon in the April All You? I don't see one in mine and it's not listed in the front. Did y'all have one?

      • anna15nc

Coupons vary from subscriptions with the copies you buy at Walmart… I have a subscription and it's in mine – page 44 $5 off 2.

      • Lori

it is on page 44 i cant work this out, do i buy one or two sorry im a newbie

        • anna15nc

It's BOGO at Harris Teeter. If you are using the coupon $5/2 you have to buy two. My Harris Teeter allows me to use this kind of coupon on a BOGO. If you are not using the coupon you can just buy one. It should ring up 1/2 price.

    • Cowboyfan88

So what If you have something on sale BOGO and a coupon for 1 dollar off 2. How does that work now with the new policy?

    • Vlwallac

special weekend e-vic item in raleigh, bogo Kraft shredded cheese. use coupon at walmart’s site, (2) .50 touch of philly, makes both free!!

      http://instoresnow.walmart.com/enhancedrendercontent_ektid94172.aspx

      • The Q-Girl

Just wanted to let you guys know that RecycleBank is offering a $10 off $50 mailed reward with 100 points. You can earn 70 points with the new green home contest. Hope it arrives before the next SD.

Printed out this coupon from this site Duncan Hines Brownies at $2. Harries Teeter would not take the coupon, they said the computer was not able read the coupon.

      • Lyates10

I just tried to print it out and its said the offer had expired. My HT won't take coupons if they don't scan, but one down the road in Fort Mill, SC will type in the code for me.

A good shopping trip today. HT was trippling up to .99 coupons and for the most part the shelves were fairly well stocked.

      • Pdoby28144

        where is HT tripling coupons???

        • PASHLEY29

          HENDERSONVILLE, nc

    • I know Lowes and Harris Teeter both take Walgreens RR's but do they take CVS and Rite-Aid +Up's or ECB's?

      • mamabelbel

This catalina deal is currently running:

      3/27 – 4/23 Deer Park Water 24 pk
Buy (2), get $2 off Catalina

I bought the Deer Park Water “Saturday Only” e-Vic offer and did not receive this catalina. Was wondering if it was regional or store specific. I am in NC. Did anyone receive it? I did get an ad catalina so I know the machine was working

      • Linda

I live in Winston Salem, NC and I didn't received any catalina when I bought by deer park water on Saturday..

      • luv2shop

In NC and did not get it.

The HT coupon policy is a little confusing to me. Is there a limit of printed coupons that can be used each day? And are the printed coupons doubled?

      • There is a limit of 20 manufacture coupons that can be used each day. If they are printed you are alowed to use up to 2 printed coupons on per like item. If they are clipped then you can use 2 like coupons per like item. Also printed coupons are doubled up to $.99. :)

        • Sorry I said that wrong….the Printed coupons are 2 per like item and the clipped coupons are 3 per like item sorry…

The results of the WalMart test: I took the list of things I got at HT this week, and checked it out against WalMart. Harris Teeter: $47.39. WalMart, with coups where applicable: $61.39. WalMart with GV products substituted where a like product existed: $65.18.
That's a nothing-special list, just the stuff I happened to get at HT on that trip. NOT a super-doubles trip, either. Some of the coupons I used at HT were small enough to double, some of them weren't. Of course NONE of them would double at WalMart. It is especially scary to me to see these totals, because I used to ALWAYS buy the GV product whenever possible, and that one was the worst!
I've been couponing for six weeks, and all the time wondering if I was doing the right thing. Now I know. Even if all I ever save is $13 over WalMart (like this trip), and I shop twice a week, that's $1,352.00 a year.
Thanks, Jenny, for all your hard work.

      • I was wanting to make that test too….glad to see it works out!! :)

      • luv2shop

Great! I haven't set food in a WalMart for my normal shopping since I started couponing. My trips to Sam's have been cut way back as well saving me megabucks in impulse buys. I miss the rotiserrie chicken, though!

        • jjtowle

Did not renew my Sams Membership this year … Couponing is way much more interesting than Warehouse Club even if it takes time…

    • Cynthia

Don't know if someone mentioned this, but Krunchers chips are BOGOF(makes it $1.90) and with the .75/1 Q makes it 40 cents.

      • Gloria9000

        Thanks for sharing this!

    • JR

Another trip to Hendersonville for a Harris Teeter trippling of coupons. Well worth the trip. Got about $90 worth of groceries for about $22. Thanks to HT for a week of allowing tripples.

      • jjtowle

        Love HT … Bought Colgate Total Toothpaste on my way out (found it in a cart after the cash register ) & with Triple coupon , the cashier gave me $78 c … Love getting product & money … Can't do any better (-;

    • ShopperSteph

My HT in Huntersville NC no longer accepts RR's. I think they just changed the stew policy. You might want to check at your store.

    • ShopperSteph

Sorry! That was supposed to be in reply to Deborah Lawrence.

    • Rlynn103

when I type coupons(dot)com in the address bar, the site comes up, but the coupons are not showing. Just a white page with the ads around the edges. Anyone else with this issue?

      • css03

A friend did and when we restarted her computer it worked fine.

    • Anonymous

Sorry if this is a repeat, but the Fruit2O is BOGO and with the .75 off coupons that were on coupons.com a while back they are .60 for a 6 pack!

    • Emily

Does anyone know if Fayettville NC accepts RR or CVS Bucks?

      • Americanbaby27

I tried last week. They did take one RR but said they aren't supposed to and won't do it again.

You can always try though :)

    • Amandabirtles

Does anyone know when they are going to do triple coupons again? Seems like it's been forever

      • Amandabirtles

By the wAy i am in Raleigh nc

    • guest

Went to HT got 2 bags of Kraft cheese, Krunchers chips, and bananas for 1.61, and saved 10.53! The bananas alone were 1.20! There is an evic deal this week Kraft Cheese B1G1 at 2/4.00. I used 2 1.00 off coupons that were on a tearpad right next to them and ended up with 2 free bags of cheese! Love HT!

    • carmen
