Here are your deals at Harris Teeter this week. I hope next week to start doing these a day early so look for them on Tuesday sometime if possible. This is a pretty good week if I do say so. Not as great as triples but worth the trip out.

If you see anything I missed let me know and I’ll add it.

Remember:
1. You do not have to buy 2 of the B1G1 items, each item will ring up half price.
2. Coupons are tripled that are .99¢ or less.
3. They will triple 20 coupons per day/transaction.
4. You must have a VIC card to get sale prices and for your coupons to double.
5. Most stores only allow one coupon per B1G1 deal, so only buy one per transaction if possible.

**Tip: Hand over coupons in order of value starting with .99¢ or less then give $1 and higher coupons**

Can I ask why you give the coupons in order from lowest to highest? I’ve never done this and was just wondering why it was a good idea. I like to have my coupons stacked so that they alternate (not identical coupons together and no printed coupons together) just so that they don’t “cling” together and get missed, so I’m just wondering if I should change the way I’m doing it.

      THANKS!!!

So glad you are doing HT!
OH! And on your note it says they will double up to 20. That’s true, but I asked my manager the other day if I could go over 20 coupons (as long as the ones over 20 was more than $1) and he said, no, it was 20 total. I don’t know if that is really true, but thought I would pass it on anyway.

    • thanks for posting the “final price”. that is so helpful!

    • Melanie

#2 and #3 under the things to “Remember” at the top still say “triple” rather than “double.” Just wanted to let you know.

    • Oksana

thank you for posting the deals!! It is very helpful!! I have started couponing just recently and have already saved lots of cash!! My husband is thankful as well!!!!
I wanted to ask about the stonyfield yogurt deal for this week. I can’t figure out the math on that one. If it is 60 cents each it will make 1.80 for three. Then minus 50 cents off three makes it 1.30, divided by 3 makes it about 43 cents. Here it says 26 cents each. Is my math totally wrong??? Please, help to figure it out, maybe I am missing something.
      Thanks a lot

      • Jenny

        Oksana,

The .50 cent coupon on Stoney field will double so it is $1.80 for 3 – $1 so .80 cents / 3 = .26 cents.

I love this yogurt for my girls so I jump on it every time it is this price.

    • This may sound like a stupid question, but in then again the only stupid question is one not asked!! On Harris Teeter’s B1G1 free sales you are not actually getting the item for free, you are getting each weither that be 1 or 10 for half price. So If I were to use a B1G1 free coupon on a B1G1 free sale item would the item be free or just half of the sale price?

      For Instance:
Say I bought 2 Ziploc Freezer or Storage Bags at $2.89 (asuming that is the correct price) Used the B1G1 free coupon. Would my total be free or
      $1.45 for 2

      Thanks in advance!!

      • Jenny

        Ashley,

Total would be 2 for the 1/2 price of one. You are right, neither are free already so the coupon makes one free and the other one stays at half price. If your HT lets you use 2 coupons on B1g1 deals then use the B1G1 and a .40/1 coupon and makes it 2 for .45 cents. Not too shabby.

    • jennifer

JUST TALKED TO A PUBLIX EMPLOYEE, SHE ENFORMED ME THAT PUBLIX IS IN THE PROCESS OF BUYING OUT ALL THE HARRIS TEETERS. SHE MADE IT SOUND LIKE IT WAS GOING TO BE A PRETTY QUICK PROCESS. I GUESS THERE GOES THE TRIPLE COUPON TRIPS. THAT LEAVES US WITH ONLY 3 STORES PUBLIX, WINN-DIXIE, AND FOOD LION. WE ARE VERY SAD!!!!!

    • Andrea

      I have a deal:
Kraft Mac n Cheese boxes are BOGO and a catalina deal starts today.

Buy Kraft Macaroni and Cheese between 5/8-5/31
      Buy 4 Get $1
      Buy 5 Get $1.50
Buy 6 or More get $2 OYNO

So buy 6 for 3.24 with the BOGO
Get back $2 – makes them about .20 each

I also bought 3 vitamin waters for $1 and used my $.50 coupon and got a deal. I did it 7x today. I think I have enough Mac n cheese.

    • Krista

Thanks for doing the HT deals!!

Crista- I’m pretty sure you’re manager was misinformed. I believe the policy clearly states they will only double 20 per day and then accept other coupons at face value. I mean why wouldn’t they?? They are getting the full value reimbursed. I know they’ve had no problems with it at my store. Check the customer service desk, mine has a plaque with the coupon policy clearly stated!

Ashley- Check your B1G1 ziploc coupon. Many of them have a max. value of like $2.19. It all depends on the cashier whether they will take off full value or 50% value. I like to mention to them that their policy of one coupon per B1G1 is because they say the sale is buy ONE get One FREE not 50% off sale so they should take off the full value (or in this case the max of 2.19. Personally I wait for the high value Ziploc coupons to come out (the best was .75/1) and use them at HT’s B1G1 sales then. Ziploc is on BOGO all the time at HT.

    • Ashley

Is the ziploc deal a unadvertised one? Because there was no sign of it being on sale @ the Outer Banks, NC HT.

    • alicia

I’m soooo frustrated! Each week, I usually do my shopping on monday since it’s the only day I’m off of work and my son goes to daycare. But, since the deals start on wednesday, ALL of the good deals are gone by monday! I took a whole list of things to get at Harris Teeter today with coupons but by the time I went through the entire store all I got was some Scrubbing Bubbles and turkey from the deli! I’ve asked the manager there before if I could get rain checks, but he said the deals were only good while supplies last so rain checks would not be issued. Does anybody else have this problem? I guess you pretty much have to be ready to shop wednesday morning? I have been enjoying using my Wags RR’s at HT…I even had a couple expired ones that still worked today! Any ideas?….

    • Kelly

if the item is in the ad, they have to give you a RC if that item is out of stock. i have a RC for Shout from the last time it was B1G1 (it has yet to be restocked).

just wanted to add, the Kraft Mayo deal is great.
      buy 3@2.50=7.50
      -1.00Qx3=4.50
      -3 instant saving=1.50/3
      or .50 each!!

    • Krista

Ashley- The ziploc deal was advertised at my HT. I’ve noticed that my flyer here in Raleigh states that some prices/deals are not good at Outer Banks HT. Check the HT website to see the flyer for your area. Sorry, it seems that all grocery stores are more expensive beach side!

Alicia- I NEVER have any problems getting rainchecks from HT for advertised sales. The velvetta cups deal is tricky though because they can’t write a rain check for free products. However, with anything else if it doesn’t state “quanities limited” or “no rainchecks” on the advertisement then they are required to give you a raincheck. Good luck!
