I have gotten quite a few of the biltmore dressing/marinades. Does anyone have any good ideas on what to do w/ them? What meats may you be marinading? Do you use it as a dressing? etc. I went to their web site…and they have some pretty fru-fru recipes. I think I have one of each….and really want to find something 'wow' to do! Any suggestions would be great..thanks

    • Momsdword1

Thanks for such a super helpful site. I don't know how you “get it all together” for the posts you give us. Please know you are appreciated for everything!!

    • Daviegirl81

so frustrated with my HT, they won't let us use a $/2 on a bogo item anymore. Last week I had 2 coupons for hotdogs. They were on sale bogo, and I had a $1/2 coupon. They said you had to buy either 3 and use one coupon, or 5 and use both coupons. Their reasoning is that you didn't actually purchase two on a bogo. arghh!!

      • Melissa

Hope this is not a new policy coming to all HTs! It was bad enough they stopped letting you use 2 coupons on a BOGO sale. I think this could hurt their couponer business badly!

        • LeAnnaShaw

I always only buy one of an item that is b1g1 when I have a q. That way they can't say no. The exception was the hotdogs last week-and it went through fine every time. I think I may have bought 6 altogether on my seperate trips. On my last trip I decided to get nervy and buy two chex mix. Used two coupons…and no problem. But I have to admit-I plan my trips to go about 5 pm. The store is busy-and the daytime(seems to me they are the worst) cashiers have gone home. I have not had a problem. I only saw once where a q had not doubled. Not even sure which one it was!

        • Jaws3395

THis has been HT coupon policy for several months now. I would say going back to November or so. You would have to buy 4 to use $/2 on BOGO items (because you are getting 2 free) I know it does not make sense and I have argued it but it states that clearyly in the policy.

      • That makes no sense

      • Did they try to scan it, or did the cashier just look at the coupon? The way the HT B1G1's go, they ring both items @ half price – so the register shouldn't reject – you're “buying” 2.

        • Jackie

The cashier should catch it before they scan it. The register doesn't charge you half price unless you only buy one. If an item is 2.99 and HT charges you 1/2 price you would end up paying 3.00. If you purchase 2 you are charged 2.99 for one and 0 for the second one.

      • Peyton

I had the same thing happen. The manager happened to be standing there while I was checking out and she showed me the coupon policy. It stated that if an item is B1G1 you may not use a coupon that is save x/2 items. But with that stated they wouldn't let me use 2 coupons when I bought 2 hotdogs that were on sale B1G1. Ugggh.

      • sarahinNC

The same thing happened to my hubby yesterday (we have a newborn, so he went for me). I used that same coupon earlier in the week w/ NO problem …at the same HT! Perhaps it depends on the cashier. Very frustrating for my hubby. Grrrrr.

        • deniseCLT

so funny, we have a newborn too so i have tried multiple times to send my husband coupon-ing in my place, but he usually just gets frustrated and swears he'll never go for me again :-)

      • Daylog

where you in wilson store??? never go there

    • deej

I think some of the printable coupon links are broken (there are two URLs squooshed together). I was trying to print the $1/off Crackerfuls and noticed.

      • deej

Whoops, nevermind, this was an error on my end. My apologies!

    • Dee

FYI there is a printable coupon at powerofresolve.com for .75 off Resolve Spray n’ Wash making it only .17 after coupon is doubled. Also on sale in central NC Minute Maid Juice Bars 2/6 .75 coupon in 06/27 RP

    • Crawford86575

All my coupons on tyson chicken nuggets are for the bags (not on sale), not the boxes (on sale), oh well, at least it's still 1/2 off even without coupons

I've seen alot more coupons come out with “do not double” on them recently, grrrrr :(

      • david1737

Dude Tyson is crap. You know they have no ethics when it comes to caring for animals!

    • Wondering if this will work…

      Buy Sara Lee Pound Cake
Buy 5 tubs of Cool Whip
      Buy HT Frozen Fruit

Use $1/1 Sara Lee Pound Cake ($3.99)
      Use 2 $0.20/2 Cool Whip ($0.79 ea)
Get Frozen Fruit and 1 Cool Whip Free

      $3.99+(4 x $0.79) = $7.15 OOP
Receive $3 Catalina for buying 5 Cool Whip

      Does that sound right?

      • Jaws3395

Cool whip is free at Food Lion! I have 20 tubs just from today!

      • deniseCLT

yeah, but i would just get the one free cool whip and frozen fruit since cool whip is free at food lion this week. but i think the meal deal is decent, that frozen fruit is normally 3.69 at my ht

    • AuntLolly

Headed to Morehead City this weekend…does anyone know if the HT on Highway 17 is still doing Triple Coupons (advertised on the tractor trailer outside?).

      • Auntlolly

        I actually think it's 70, not 17.

        • Nicole

I can't answer your question, but I would like to know too! :) I'm gonna be there this weekend also. Where did you see or hear that?

          • Jennnyp

When I was there over Memorial Day, and they said they said they are the same as the rest of the HT now :(

    • Coupons28054

How can the resolve carpet cleaner be .70cents if it's 3.99????

    • Petitsoleil02

I don't know if anyone has posted this yet, but some of the Colgate toothbrushes and toothpaste are on sale this week for 2/$3 and there was a 75 cent coupon for both in the 6/27 SS…which means free toothbrush/es and toothpaste! Enjoy!

      • Coupons28054

Just went and got my new toothbrush and tooth paste… thanks

        • Petitsoleil02

          You're welcome…glad to help!

    • Nona

I had alot of trouble with coupons this past week for super doubles. Each HT I went to had a different coupon policy. At one HT they told me I could not use a BOGO coupon and a $$ off coupon. So bumbed.

    • Nicole

Is the Sara Lee deal the “meal deal” this week? Buy the poundcake and get cool whip and frozen fruit for free? Where do you see that-the ad?

      • deniseCLT

yep its the meal deal and yes, it's in the ad

    • Brittany King

I was pretty excited to get free Smart Balance milk today. My e-vic special was 64oz Smart Balance milk for $1.99 and then I found a $2 off coupon for it. Awesome. I also got some maxi pads for free (catalina that printed my last visit). I am finally spending about half on my groceries than I used to shopping at Walmart. Thank you so much Southern Savers!
