wouldn’t it be best just to use the $4 coupon on the target deal and get it for .03 cents instead of .50 cents? You sure are using a lot of coupons to make it more money.

      • Julie

How do you get it for .03? I went to Target and the Schick HydroSilk Razers were 7.39 on sale. I used a 5/2 target coupon, two 4/1 Manufacturers coupons, & the 10% off Cartwheel. It took .98 off of Cartwheel (which I have no idea how how they got that amount). I ended up paying .40 each not including tax.

I’m not finding the $4 coupon yet. Tried 90210 and 77546 zips

I got it with 77546 on page 5

Just Venting – I am so disgusted with Walmart and it’s employees not knowing their coupon policy. Went in this morning to get these razors (which they had plenty for once) and colgate toothpaste. Cashier didn’t know what to ring them up since the value of the $4 coupon was more than razor and same with the $1 off colgate coupon. Was told that since the coupons value were more than the items they could not take them. I am not talking overage here, she wouldn’t even adjust them down. Even tried to say oner per purchase was only excepted when it said limit of four coupons per transaction. UGHHHHH!!!! She advised me that they were changing their policy about coupons and really cracking down. I said I understood, but advised her that she could adjust it down. After waiting for more than 5 mins for a customer care associate to come over and help her and explain to her how to do the transaction/policy I left as the customer care person was no where to be found. Even sadder she asked several other cashier associates who passed by her, and got the same I don’t know/care attitude wait for the CSR. I would have normally went to another check out lane or customer care but I didn’t have time. Walmart – just another disappointing trip again due t the lack of training for it’s employees.

So hope you fellow couponers have better luck.

The walmart coupon policy states you CAN have overage… they will just apply that to whatever else you buy. Hmmm. She obviously didn’t know what she was doing!

Which colgate did you get? I couldn’t find any of the total, optic white, max fresh, or sensitive marked down to $.94 in my store :(

      I don’t understand the math on the Target deal – you buy 2, which equals 8.06 – Minus $5 Target q, equals 3.06 – Minus 10% Cartwheel, equals 2.75 – Minus 2 $4 Manufacturers q, equals a money maker of $5.25. Right? I’m just confused.

      • sara

        I don’t understand it either….

      • soundring

I think the price is wrong. They are over $8 at my Target.

I tried to do this tonight at my local Walmart (Hermitage, TN). I wanted to combine it with the $0.97 equate feminine products that were featured in another post. I went through the self check-out and the coupon would not go through. The coupon for the equate product needed to be approved, so when the gentleman came up, I told him about this coupon. He said that it had to be one of the ones pictured, but if I understand correctly, the wording has to specify if it only works on certain products. I just told him I didn’t want it.

What should I do next time? I work retail and know the stress that comes with upset customers. I want to be as polite as possible.

I have another question. On the same link that Jenny provided, there is a $3.00 off one. The cartwheel is for four. Could I print (4)$3.00 off Target Coupon and (4)$4.00 off and use the cartwheel?

      • Guest

Target only lets you use one of their coupons per customer, per day – at least that’s the way it works at my Target.

    • qvadis76

I am totally disgusted with trying to coupon at Walmart also. I went to Walmart with two of the coupons and tried to purchase the razors. The cashier would have been okay with their being overage. But, says that she couldn’t accept the coupon because it wasn’t one of the razors pictures on the coupon, and therefore it was for the wrong item. It is so much easier to coupon at Target, even if you have to use extra coupons, or pay a little more out of pocket. I really do hate shopping at Walmart………

I did the razor today at Target along with the Edge Shave Gel.

      I spent $1.75 total

      2 Edge @ $2.44
      1 Schick Hydro Silk @ $8.06
      Discounts were

-10% for cartwheel on both Edge & Schick
-$2.44 for BOGO coupon on Edge
      -$4 Schick Manufacturer Coupon
      -$3 Schick Target Coupon
      -$1 Edge Target Coupon
      -5% Target Red Card Discount
(Forgot my reusable bag or I would have saved $.05 more!)
