Trade in any strand of Christmas lights at Home Depot from 11/4-11/14 for a $3 off coupon on a in-store purchase of LED Christmas lights! There is a limit of 5 coupons per household. These are normally $5.97, so just $2.97 after the discount.

We did this last year and got some really fun energy saving lights at a great price.

    • Mommyto1cutie

Thanks! I'm going to do this today :)

      • kori

did you do the led lights deal? were there light strands for $5.97 like she mentioned? i'd like to do this but don't want to dig mine out if it's not a great deal.

    • Loueffie

So, do you get a coupon per string of lights, up to 5 coupons? I think I have 4 strings that I could trade in.

      • Amy B.

        Yep!

    • Downs1418

Do we know the expiration date on the coupon? I would wait until after Christmas when lights are CHEAP!!!

      • Acmurphy

Unfortunately, it looks like the coupon above says for 10 days only…Nov. 4-14.

    • Lharris76

We did this last year and they let me and my husband EACH trade in 5 strings of lights. They didn't 'hand out' coupons, it was an immediate discount off of new lights. Good luck! This is a great deal.

All of the LED lights I looked at on Home Depot's website were $10+. Which ones are $5.97? Home Depot is a bit of a drive for my…… just want to make sure it's worth it. Thanks!

      • Sarah

online it says they are $10 but the sales ad for the charlotte area stated they were on sale for $5.97….so I guess you have to pay full price online!

    • susan

      Lowes is doing something similar

    • LizA

Can you buy bigger LED light displays (Like Santa or Rudolph) or just a new straned?

    • Sarhadawg99

I wish they would do this AFTER I get all my christmas stuff down out of the attic.

    • Dianagreenhaw

Do the lights you trade in have to work?

    • scubatown

The lights DO NOT have to work!!! The new lights HAVE to be LED lights.
