If you need another reason to get away this summer, this is it!

When you stay for 3 or more nights at a hotel you booked on Hotels.com you get a free Amazon Kindle!  Just enter the coupon code BOOKWORM when you checkout.

This is pretty awesome because it’s on top of the Hotels.com price match guarantee!  So you will get the best price around, and a Kindle!!

Don’t forget to go through Ebates first to earn 3.5% cash back on your trip!

The fine print:
Must stay for (3) or more consecutive with a total of $450 of more before taxes and fees at a participating Price Match Guarantee hotel listed. Book your hotel by June 27, 2011 and complete your stay before July 31, 2011.  After you have completed your stay you will get an e-mail to verify your shipping address and the Kindle will be shipped to you within 6 weeks.

I just stayed 3 nights, in a pretty nice hotel (Best Western in SC), through hotels.com last month and the price was only $229. $450, No, Thank You.

You are kidding! I JUST booked last night thru hotels.com for a 3 night stay in june!!! I wonder if I can call them and get it. I've got the worst luck!!

      • kk

never mind… the list of participating hotels is pretty short!

      • ileana

I would call them and see.  Maybe tell them that you will cancel and re-book it or jsut do that…..Good luck!!

    • Janelleblozy

$450 for 3 nights no way!! I can stay way cheaper than that but it would be nice to get a kindle

      • Mandi

I think it has to be at least $450 meaning it may be 7 days for $450.  :-)  Not 3 days only for $450.

    • has to be at least $450 even with a price match? I haven't spent more than 75 on a hotel in forever because I use the bidding websites…if I stay somewhere for 3 nights, even if it was 300 total I could buy a kindle with the difference :)

I have found, from my experience on several roads trips to different parts of our great country, that booking online is NOT even the cheapest way to go. When you drive into a state, stop at the first rest area you see and pick up one of those hotel coupon books for free. Then, find a good deal in whatever city you want to stay in. The phone number for the hotel will be listed – call ahead and just make sure they have vacancy for that night. I usually ask what their best rate is, even with my AAA membership, and most of the time it is about $15 more than the rate on the coupon. Usually the hotels cannot reserve a room for you at the coupon rate, but as long as they have vacancy when you get there, it's not a problem.

Yes participating hotels list is very short.

    • This is an awesome deal!!  Thanks for sharing!!!

I found that the code works on 3 or more nights stay at a participating hotel, and the one I had picked out was included….(Hampton Inn – $81 per night for a suite)  The $450 minimum part is not what the information at Hotels.com says… just the 3 or more nights stay.  I've been wanting a Kindle… this will be great! THANKS! :)
