      • KellyL

Ingles doubles coupons so with a .50 coupon it would take $1 off, but with triple it will now make that .50 coupon worth $1.50. My Ingles will not allow overage, but they also are not picky about how many coupons I use.

      • back2thetable

        50×3 = 1.50 IN COUPONS

    • Alli

Remember that Jenny said they are tripling coupons this week :) So the $.50 coupon will go up to $1.50, making the sauce Free, plus overage, if they allow. :)

    • Kaffy

Just an FYI…the .50 off Dixie Crystals sugar is for 4 or 5 lbs, so wouldn't work for the 2 lb. However, there are quite a few Dixie Crystals coupons available on that site.

    • April

      It's $10 before coupons right?

      • Lana

        Yes.

    • Amy

My Ingles counts gift cards toward the total of your purchase, so if you buy a $50 gift card, you can triple 15 coupons. Ask your Ingles; it's worth a try.

      • FrugalMamaOf6

Great Idea! Thanks for sharing. I'll ask if they will do this at my Ingles. : )

      • Slrutherford821

Can u turn around and use the $50 card to pay for your groceries?

      • Sunny

I also buy gift cards when my total isn't high enough for all my coupons to double or triple. If your Ingles sells gasoline, you can always use the gift card to get 3 more cents off per gallon.

    • FrugalMamaOf6

Triple coupons are so much fun!! : ) Depending on the level of frugality/savings you are going for, a lot of care would need to be taken in planning a grocery trip to take advantage of the savings. You could easily end up spending more than you are saving. Ingles will only triple 3 coupons for every $10 you spend before coupons. I clipped all of the great deals mentioned above that I have coupons for, and I would need to spend $120 to triple all of the coupons!! Unfortunately my total (before coupons) for the items I was going to purchase was only around $25. I am trying to watch expenditures very carefully and save my family as much money as I can so I do not usually shop at Ingles because their prices are higher than Aldi & Wal-Mart. I do not need any meat because I buy chicken leg quarters for $0.49/lb at Food Lion when they are on sale, and ground turkey at Aldi for $1.39/lb. To fill my cart with unneeded items to reach $120 would not be the best choice for me. Just a thought for the seriously frugal minded. : )

      • Paulakay72

I totally agree with you! Some things just aren't worth the trouble. I guess if you're family eats hotsauce, hamburger helper and ramen noodles, then it's worth a shot. ;-) Quite honestly, the only thing that I see as a great deal is kleenex, cuz we all use that! Everything else is a coupon/deal that I've already seen and used at Publix! Just not worth it for me.

      • Bee

Well, seeing as the $10 requirement is before coupons, then I would think the items you are getting for free would help achieve that–I mean they have to cost SOMETHING.

There are quite a few decent coupons out there that will double–peanut butter, etc. Even at regular price, $1.50 off one jar of peanut butter is nothing to overlook. There are also several Unilever .50 coupons that were good when they would double but tripled are sensational, especially if your Ingle's allows overage. They also expire soon and are only issued quarterly in my experience.

The $2.28 for lean ground chuck may be a little outside of a “great deal” but their meat is extremely high quality and short of buying my own cow, it's the highest recommendation I have for my area. Kroger meat just isn't what it used to be. We have Aldi, but still not a place I would buy much meat–no butcher on site.

I only respond because I think to recommend that taking advantage of triple coupons is not a seriously frugal move is to toss out a perfectly good savings tool. Ingle's is a fabulous store and if you aren't careful, you will spend more, simply because their store is beautiful and very well stocked (at least here anyway). But, I don't know that it can't be said of every store–watch what you're doing. I tend to cherry pick from all the stores in our area, Wal-Mart included. However, if I did the bulk of my shopping there (I know this has been discussed to death on this site) I would be absolutely BLOWING my grocery budget and their selection is somewhat puny.

In addition, not all southern locales have Publix, just as not all areas have Ingle's.

By your calculations, you are looking to double 36 coupons. At .50 per coupon that is $54 saving. But I am also led to believe you are focusing on the free items and only the ones listed here. I have found during previous triples that multiplying a coupon value times three makes for a whole lot more items (even at regular price) that are extremely competitive.

I've personally been looking forward to this and especially with all the .50 coupons that are close to expiry that I was just going to get doubled anyway! I love crunching the numbers and planning the best deals.

In short, it's great advice to point out that it may not be a deal for everyone (i.e. you don't need meat) but household food consumption and savings patterns are a very tailored and personal endeavor.

        • Bee

Oh and don't forget, if you have any coupons for free items, you can use them to “bump up” the total. Doesn't matter what the price is on those (and the higher the better) because they are free! (Recent hair color, coffee creamer, shampoo, baby wipes, etc offers)

        • Danielle

I agree. I have to be careful in Ingles to not spent too much money. However, this sale is a good way to stock up on things that don't go on sale very often. The quality of the produce and meat is always really good. My kids will be eating apples this week in their lunches (2 lbs. for $1.98)

      • Lana

I agree with you. It is too easy for me to spend way more than I intended at Ingles triples. Also my Ingles are NOT couponer friendly and I usually come out of there steamed and frustrated.

      • Joy

Not only that but they treat coupon Savvy people like criminals! I have had them refuse my coupon printed coupons and I only had 2 ! They post on the doors that they will not take internet printed coupons but then show you a policy that says they do take them! They also tend to overcharge on the chicken sales and not scan all your coupons properly. They run to customer service to approve your coupons while everyone watches. Corporate does nothing about your the way they treat their customers and they do not care, so I just take my business elsewhere now.

        • Rebecca

I am an Ingles employee (actually a manager) and I am very sorry you have coupon problems. Your store should not have that sign, and I know if you call corporate they will fix this. Have a nice day

          • Breeana9

I try my best not to shop at Ingles in our town. The manager there is just horrible. Now when I come in, he is always super nice to me and it just comes off as being a smarmy *&^.

Triple coupons might be fun to go in and harass him :D He gave me a problem with a coupon. Now, the store no longer takes IP coupons, but he will take them from me….Horrible customer service all around!

            • Suzie Q

We have a manager like that in our Spartanburg store…SOOO annoying!

          • Maryoneday

Our Ingles in Clarkesville Ga will not accept IP coupons but the Ingles 20 minutes away in Cornelia will and don't stick to the 3 for 10$ rule. That manager is the best! I have called corporate and they have done nothing about the manager in Clrkvill.Wish they would then I wouldn't have to drive to another town.

          • Susan

I live in Clarkesville, Ga and I don't like going to the Ingles, also. I haven't had any problems using IP coupons there (I even used some last week to get the free batteries.) They just don't take more than 2 of the same type coupons. Thank goodness my work usually required me to go to Gainesville or Atlanta one day a week. (I go shopping at Publix and Kroger while I'm there.)

I am planning on going today to get some “coupon” deals. I'll let you know if I have any problems using the IP coupons.

          • Joy

I have called corporate over 3 times about a THREE local store's posting “WE Do not take Internet coupons on the door” and then having a different policy sitting in the office or posted by the office. Corporate still does nothing. Some of these managers do not even read their own store policy. One day I had to read it to one of them and then HE took my 2 internet coupons.I should of never been treated like I was and I have read problems with Ingle's on several coupon Blogs :)

            • Susan

I went to the Clarkesville, GA store this morning and didn't have any problems with them taking my IP coupons. I even got overage. I bought a bottle of French's Worcesterhire Sauce for $1.25 with a $.50 off coupon and they took off a total of $1.50. I also bought some tuna fish for $1.44 with a $.50 coupon and they took off $1.50.

      • Do you mean the total before your 36 or so coupons was only $25? Because I'm pretty sure the total for doubling (and tripling) is calculated *before* your Ingles Advantage card and coupons. And remember, the three/$10 only applies to the coupons that qualify for doubling (and tripling).

    • Lindsbrac

Thanks for posting this today, Jenny! Saves me a 45 min drive to Publix…I'll just get triples at Ingles tomorrow!

    • thriftymotherof3

The hamburger helper link goes to a Wheaties website.

      • Yeah, no coupon there. Anyone know if there is a .50/1 coupon out there?

      • guest

I wondered if it was just me. What's up with the Wheaties?

    • Casperbutton

my understanding the policy on the coupon deals are three for every $10.00 of regular priced items, not on total spent, so when you are using coupons on the sale price, make sure you are on top of your game. sometimes the cashiers are not as up on thinngs either,

      • Barb

Actually (I shop at Ingle's frequently), it is three coupons doubled or tripled per $10 order. The first $10 activates the first three coupons being doubled. So, a $100 order (before taxes) will recognize 30 coupons for doubling (provided they are.50 or under). Been this way for a long time. Has nothing to do with which items you purchase. That would require a somewhat sophisticated set-up and Ingle's is not that progressive yet.

    • Michelle

Does Ingles allow digital coupons? I tried to use a digital coupon there once for a free item and they would not let me. I don't know if it was because it was free or because it was digital.

      • Sillysnicks

Do you mean IP–internet printed? Ingles will take 2 IPs per manufacturer so if you buy 2 boxes of fiber one bars you can use 2 IPs (one per box) but if you buy 3 boxes, you cannot use 3 IPs (unless your cashier isn't that up on the coupon policy). Ingles does not take IPs for free items.

        • Hotforcoupons

The Ingles here in Knoxville I was able to use 4 printed coupons for 4 free Rayovac batteries and 2 printed coupons for 4 boxes of boxed veggies.I think it just depends on the store and the cashier.

          • es

Ingles will allow you to use a printable coupon which makes the item free (Like with the Rayovac priced at $1, with a $1 off coupon) but not a coupon for a free item (like “One free package of Coffeemate Creamer”).

    • Slrutherford821

Can u turn around and use the $50 card to pay for your groceries?

    • mj

Do you HAVE to spend $10 for Ingles to double/triple coupons or can you spend $8 and still have 3 coupons tripled?

      • kellyl

I have never had any problems at my Ingles with a $ limit before they double or triple. I would try it.

      • Jennaj81

you must have $10 before they will double or triple any. I found this the hard way!

    • faith

Is the 10.00 limit before or after savings?

      • Danielle

Before coupons. One thing to remember is to hand them the coupons three at a time so you get the most for your money. I always hand them the .50 coupons first and then the lesser amount coupons.

    • back2thetable

Just back from Ingles 55% savings this week! Thank you Jenny for making this so easy for us. Saw so many shoppers wondering aimlessly, lugging around binders filled with coupons. Had my list and coupons organized and was in and out of the store in no time at all. Total Value $350, I paid $157!

    • Cyndi

Just got back from Ingles in Knoxville. Here are all the good deals I got at Ingles if this helps anyone (price is after tripling the 50 cent coupon, not including tax) (sale price listed second if you need that to calculate your total):
Lever 2000 – 2 packs of 2 ($0.50 for both packs) ($2 for both packs)
Scotties tissue 200 ct (free) ($1.50)
      Huggies 72 ct wipes ($0.98) ($2.48)
      Carefree pantiliners (free) ($1.31)
Campbells tomato soup – 3 cans ($0.30 for 3 cans) (chicken noodle would be the same price) ($0.60 per can)
New York Texas Toast croutons (free) ($1)
Ortega taco seasoning – 2 packets ($0.06 for both packets) ($0.78/each)
      Knorr gravy (free) ($1.50)
Mount Olive sweet salad peppers ($0.48) ($1.98)
      Mahatma rice (free) ($1.16)
      Mentos (free) ($0.98)

The way the coupons are ringing up is 50 cents for the first scan and then $1 for the triple part. If your item is less than $1.50, you only get up to the price of the item off (unless the register beeps and the cashier pushes it through). Pay attention when the cashier is scanning your coupons – the cashier who helped me missed a couple. No issue getting her to find which ones were missed.

    • yortski

Just a heads-up: The Dixie Crystals sugar coupon is for a 4/5 lb. bag. The 2 lb. bag is on sale. Thanks for letting us know that Ingle's is having a triple coupons sale!

      • ashley

there is a .45 off coupon on the dixie crystals website

    • heidi

newbie to the whole coupon thing, excited about my first triple trip! I haven't quite figured out my strategy yet for getting all the coupons I want to use, short of using a calculator and pulling out 3 coupons for every 10 I've added up LOL any tips that might help will be appreciated. spent all morning getting my publix folder together and going through the inserts i've collected the last few weeks. then had to go back through when I found out it was triple days lol I'm glad I was off work today my neck and butt are killing me

    • Do you mean your total BEFORE your Ingles Advantage Card and 40 coupons would be $24?

    • Morrissettechristine

where can I find coupons for meat? Thanks for any help anyone can give me!

      • ashley

i never see any coupons for meat…maybe its my region…

    • Mandy

I just had a great day shopping the triples at the Ingles in Mauldin. It was my first time there, and I'll be back. I had no problems at checkout with my 24 coupons. I do want to mention that the weekly ads must be regional. Although some of the specials were the same, there were a number of differences between the sales there and the ones that Jenny posted. Be sure to bring your binder if you have one, or maybe do a walk through and then come back.

      • Rrbarr

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this!

    • Tammy

At my local Ingles, the prices to some items did not match the prices listed on here. The tabasco was $1.89, not $1.29. The Hamburger Helper was $1.99, not $1.39. The Halls cough drops were $1.85, not $1 as listed.

    • Rebecca

As an Ingles manager. I recommend handing the cashiers the “triple coupons” and then any regular coupon. I do this myself and my total was $40.21 and went to $12.67!

    • jessc5

Yo-Plus yogurt was 2/$3.00, so free after coupon!
Newman's Own Popcorn was 2/$4.00, so $.50 each after coupon!
New York Texas Toast Croutons was $1, free after coupon!
(Try the Salt and Black pepper ones, YUM!)
Campbell's Chicken soup $.60, so buy 3 they are $.10 after coupon!
Mt Olive Roasted Red peppers $1.91, so $.41 after coupon!

Not bad to get these free or almost free! Wish I had more 50 cent coupons though!

      • Mjb52403

thank you for posting this!! can you tell me where you found your Yo-plus coupon? I LOVE that stuff!!!!

        • jessc5

Go to the coupon database (Top of this page). I printed it a few weeks ago, so I don't know if it is still available, but Jenny has them all listed in the database.

        • ashley

was in an insert but i'm not sure which one

    • Thanks for sharing! Love stocking up on items during Ingles triple coupon week!!!! I have been doing their triple coupons for years and love it. Although, it varies per store and some stores act like it is an inconvenience to do triple coupons the savings is worth the time spent. When they first started doing it several years ago I would freeze their computers doing triple coupons, however, they have worked out a lot of the bugs since then.

I would recommend to always hand them your $0.50 coupons to triple first and down to the $0.25 coupons in case something happens when you check out. Also, give them your “free” item coupons and $0.51 and higher coupons last or it may not accept them.

      Happy Shopping & SAVING!!! =)

    • thriftymotherof3

The Bisquick coupon is for 40 oz or higher – The 20 oz is $2.50 so the only thing that would be starting at $1.49 would be for a biscuit pack that you can't use the coupon for.

    • thriftymotherof3

Also, the Halls in my store were $1.85.

    • Ank220

I'm sorry to ask, but I just want to be sure… the $10 limit – is that on *shelf* price or sale price? i.e. if an item is on sale for $2.00 but the regular shelf-price is $4, does the $2 or the $4 amount count toward your $10 for 3 coupons tripled amount? Sorry if this is confusing…

      • ashley

what ever price rings up is the price that counts towards the $10…so if the sale price is $2.00 you would need to base your total on that price…so you would need 5 sale items at $2.00…you can then use 3 coupons…i hope that makes it easier to understand

    • nurseteri

I encountered a problem at the Ingles in Boiling Springs, S.C. Sat. They had several items in a “mark down” buggy. I had coupons for these items. They refused to take the coupons! The manager said they were already loosing enough money because of the markdown??? Anyone experienced this?

      • Georgiahokie1994

Sounds like a bunch of hogwash. They get the coupon value back from the manufacturer and they get 7 or 8 cents per coupon they send in. I could see why they wouldn't double or triple a coupon for something in the markdown bin, but come on.

        • Jennaj81

same problem at my store. the manager said that once the items are marked down (i.e. the bright orange stickers) they are no longer property of the manufacturer, but are now an Ingles item. Because of that they can not take a coupon for the item. This sounds rediculous to me. I went to another local store and was told that was true, but they didn't abide by that rule. They would rather have happy customers! Now that's my kind of manager! Needless to say I now travel 5 miles further for the more coupon friendly store!

          • Sharon

This is exactly why I do not shop at Ingles. Even with double, triple or just a single coupon it's not worth it. They are unfriendly and do not put the customers first.

      • Angeliastewart

wow. I'm in Boiling Springs. Thanks for the heads up. i wasnt aware that couponing was “losing” money.

    • Scsaver2010

Is the 10.00 before or after using the advantage card?

      • Georgiahokie1994

I believe it is after the advantage card, but BEFORE your coupons are put in.

    • mike

new to this, if you have a 1.00 off coupon, do they tripple .50 of that coupon? or dose the total of the coupon half to be under .51. thanks for the help

      • Rrbarr

        They double under $.51.

    • Georgiahokie1994

Couldn't find Dixie Crystals for $1.50 to make it 29 cents with 50 cents off coupon. Also couldn't find a Bisquick coupon that would make it free (coupon is for 40 oz or larger). Did find some good deals, though. But as always, Ingles can be tricky.

    • number1dcfan

When you click on the hamburger helper coupon, it takes you to a voting website for your favorite nascar driver. What is up with that?

    • Jmedina3577

Dont overlook the Newmans Own Sauce on sale for $2.08 — w/ .50 coup makes it $.58!!

      • Ksherman83

where did you find the coupon?

        • Jmedina3577

use the coupon database at the top of this webpage. many listed there!

    • Jamie

I have some online printable coupons that say do not double or triple however the bar code starts with a 5. Will they triple at Ingles?

      • Chele17rene

my ing;es doubles or triples them with NO problems!!

    • According to Ingles' Corporate Office, the 3 coupons tripled per $10 order is *after* Advantage Card and *before* coupons.

    • Happy Feet

Have a “Love – hate” relationship with the triple coupon week. My store didn't have the Dixie Crystal sugar on sale, nor the Halls… still I saved 50% on my groceries… I think I had rather wait until I know items are on sale… and just double…

However, I have a great store… the bagman couldn't believe how much my coupons took off my $ bill. They were all happy for me. :o)

    • Ok

So where is Dixie Crystal sugar really on sale?

    • ash596

Love this website my first question so please go easy on me If I go to Ingles and buy a $100 gift card for gas with my other products will that make it so atleast 30 coupons tripple? I need to fill up my car for a long trip this weekend and the gas prices are about the same everywhere here so if this works it would make the shopping easy no worries about something not doubling. Thanks

      • Rrbarr

I have read before in these posts that you indeed can do that, though I never have.

      • Chele17rene

I think it depends on your store about the gift card purchase towards your total. Call your local store first before you go.

      • Mandy

Ash, would you post back and let us know how it goes?

      • Georgiasunshinegirl

I have done this for years and never have had a problem buying a gift card to bump up my total so all coupons can be doubled or tripled.

      • giggles

i dont think it will work, i work at ingles

      • CJ

I tried it and it did not work at my store.

    • I<3Coupons

This Tripling Sale is a JOKE! I made my first trip in Ingles…ever…yesterday. My closest one is 20 minutes away. 3 coupons per $10 order…really?! Goodness gracious. Total and complete waste of time and money. Really hated to leave empty handed so ended up pretty much giving them my coupons that didn't triple and took my $14 worth of groceries and got the heck outta there to never return again! I've tried Kmart doubling and now Ingles tripling. I believe I will stick with my Bi-Lo and HT sales. Never a problem at either. Love my Rite Aid and CVS is ok too.

    • Ethurman1128

Went to my local ingles in Athens tn and they had the Purex 3 in 1 in the clearance for 2.01 so my 3.00 coupon ended up making it absolutely free! :)

    • Drstephvdw

The 2 lb dixie crystals was nowhere to be found, but I did get 2 bags of brown sugar that were 2/$4, and after my coupon were only 50 c a piece.

    • Rrbarr

        thanks!

    • lvmycpns

I have a Ingles on the corner so it is easy to get to, I go every day and do 3 more coupons. You have to know their system, there is always a way to get what you want if you are willing to do the work. I bought 3 Gain detergent softners at $3.41 each, that's $10.23, 8 Marcals paper products ($1.18 each) $1.00 coupon makes them 8 for $1.44, that meant I could use 9 (.50) coupons and the Gain coupons were for $3.00 off ($1.23). I got 2 hot sauce (free), 1 French's mustard (Free), 3 minute rice microwavable dishes (free), 3 carefree (Free), 3 lipton (free).

My total was $37.67 after advantage card savings, I was able to use 9 (.50) coupons and the others were $1.00 coupons, total spent $2.67 plus tax.

      • Rrbarr

        Way to go!

      • Teresa Duncan

Question, Is there a reason you have to go everyday? Can you not get everything in one transaction or in order for deal to work you have to go back.
Just asking for the learning. I wasn't going to bother with triple coupons but after reading yours, may try it.
Also, in reading other comments some have suggested giving the coupons in certain order . Do you? Suggested has been the 50 cents, & then others.
        Thanks

        • Ank220

At my Ingles, they will only double/triple 3 like coupons, so if you have more than that of a particular coupon, you would want to do multiple transactions. Also, doing smaller transactions helps me keep track of what I am getting, spending, and expecting to triple. Some folks enjoy shopping and don't mind going a few times in a week, and sometimes it is nice to do small/multiple orders if you have a particularly coupon unfriendly store and don't want to draw a lot of attention to yourself.

    • Fatmama185

just got back from ingles in laurens had no problem checking out with internet coupons the only problems was prices were not the same as my list and no 2lb dixie surgar used 25 coupons 6 of them were online cashier the best

      • Candabaldwin

Same here. I was all organized and most of the deals I had planned on buying were not even on sale. Was this last weeks ad mixed in with this weeks? Two items not even in the store at all (candles and 2lb sugar) SOOOO frustrated! you are right about the Laurens cashiers – they are the BEST!

        • Couponmomma1976

I shopped at the Laurens store also and it was great. They do not carry a few of the things that were on the list but my bill was still cut in 1/2. The cashiers were great, the bag boy was asking where I got all my coupons and one of the ladies that works in the office helped me find some of the items I could not as we discussed couponing, “RT” you are the best! I just figure if they don't carry it, they don't carry it, we could always try requesting it. I am proud to be a former Ingles employee, in Clinton. LAURENS INGLES ROCKS!!!!! (I'm sure Clinton still does to). : )

    • Couponpatsy

The Dixie Sugar wasn't on sale at my Ingles either. :(

      • Couponmomma1976

Mine only had the 4 lb. bag, but with my coupon I got is 1/2 off so it was like a B1/G1

    • Teresa Duncan

      Suggestion:
Would you consider placing a box beside the people's comments?
It would be nice to be able to click their comments and print with the list.
I sometimes like their deal senerios and have to write down on paper if i like something. Thanks!

      • Tracy

        Copy & Paste works well.

    • Oakesmother

pretty bummed :( i went to ingles, gave my coupons first, then my member card, the register did not even double my coupons! i had to get hte manager, then he gave me 6 dollars back in cash, but did not give me the difference if they were trippled, only if they doubled. i spent 70$ and only had 12 coupons… all 12 should have been trippled :( i did however score on the milk only 1.99 a gal because the overstocked it, AND ground beef was 1.64lb because they overstocked that too. from now on, milk and meat only at ingles… no couponing for me :(

      • Ank220

I think the problem is giving your coupons before scanning the card. You have to scan the card first before the coupons will double or triple.

      • Carol

You have to give your card BEFORE the coupons.

      • Susan

What Ingles did you shop at that had overstocked milke and ground beef?

    • Lj

I shop ingles fairly often because it is a little closer and I thot I'd comment on the 3qs/10.00 policy. I see comments all the time about how much of a bother this is. It really isn't as bad as it sounds. Because your pre coupon price counts towards your 10.00. You just have to keep track of what your pre coupon price is. Today I went in for triples and the amount I was actually spending was only 5.00 and I had 9 qs I wanted to triple. But the pre coupon price was actually 17.00. So I needed 13.00 more to get enough to triple everything. I just got enough chkn breasts and ground chuck to make up the extra. (I have almost no meat in my freezer, so I needed it anyways) my bill before savings was 40.96 and my total after savings was 19.52. I didn't think this was too bad considering I got 15.00 in meat. :)

      • Lj

Now the “only 2 internet qs per day” part of the policy is what annoys me!!

        • christa

I have never had that enforced

    • Mamaof123

Do I let the cashier scan my Ingles card before my coupons or after?

      Thanks,
      A mom of 3
      Danielsville, ga

      • tk

I live in Commerce! Hey Neighbor… :) You let them scan it before.

        • cdh

          I am in Commerce, too!

      • christa

Before, or your coupons won't double (or trip;le!)

    • tk

I am a Publix shopper all the way, but they are about 25 min away and I have an Ingles right next to where I work…I needed meat and usually buy it there so I thought I would give it a go with the triple coupons and deals they have going on this week. I was not very impressed. My store prices were a good bit higher than listed on here and several of the items were not even on sale. I was hoping to get the sugar deal, but it was not on sale. I know it varies by area and I really appreciate what Jenny does for us! Thank you, Jenny! :) It's just a bummer when you get everything together and you have to totally change it up in the store. With Ingles Coupon policy, you need to be prepared. I still did pretty good though… total spent $62.98…total savings $62.46. I usually do better at Publix. I wish I had one closer…

      • cdh

Oh, yes! We definitely need a Publix here!!! (I'm guessing you are the same tk who replied just below here.)

    • Liz

Very disappointing experience at Ingles just now. I gave my card first. First I noticed that the Pic sweet veggies, 10 for 10.00, were not coming up at 1.00 each. I stopped the cashier and told him. He called another cashier over. She looked at it and commented she did not know why it wasn't working. She looked at my veggies to make sure that they were the right thing. She then fixed those three that had already scanned. Then I had 2 ziplocks with 15 cent off sticky on each. Had to tell the cashier to take it off. Then had to stop him because they did not triple. He had no idea what I was talking about. Showed him the front page of their ad. Had to call a another cashier over. She did something and said it was fixed. Three more coupons did not triple. Stopped again. Same scenario. Get ot the car and go over the whole list . Lo and behold, the other 8 pic sweet were not fixed. Go back inside. Manage acts like I've called him a name…. goes to the veggie place and I have to show him the sign and match it up to my veggies. Starts walking back. Never says a word to me. Gives me back 4.00. Then I look at the receipt again and notice that…. alas, the coupons only doubled, not tripled. Point it out nicely, saying, I really hate to be a bother, but….. He looks like something is pinched on his body. Hands me another 60 cents and walks off. No 'sorry”. no nothing. Get home, and go over receipt as i unload. Find another thing that did not triple. I think of all those people behind me in line who don't check the screen and got ripped off. Really makes you wonder. Off to sriet a ltter to Mr. Ingle.

Email Ingles Corp. I had to do that once and I got a response and all my issues with that store were taken care of and I even got a fruit basket and apology from the store mgr. PLUS if your item didn't ring up correctly you should have gotten it FREE !!!

i am glad that my Ingles does not these type of problems. I have had items on clearance before & they rung up regular price. When I mentioned it to the cashier the item was given to me free. She said it was their piolicy. I have even gotten a refund on a prescription because they forgot to write on the bag that it was a “Partial Order” & I paid for it when I picked it up. So when i called after opening it, they said they would give me full refund. Again, their policy.

        My Ingles ROCKS!!

Well said! A typical Ingle's shopping trip trying to use coupons. A real coupon nightmare. Where is this store at?

Last night went to Ingles (Powell, TN) and scored a Gwaltney Spiral Sliced/Glazed ham for just under $10. ($1.19/lb) It was nearly $20 off. They also had some Gwaltney non sliced hams down to .98/lb.

Hi – I would be visiting the Dallas, GA store for the first time. Should I even bother? It is about 10 miles away from my house. Would love local GA folks to let me know about their experiences.

Went to my Ingles last night. Everything I bought was based entirely off of my coupons and I even bought a good bit of the meat that was on sale to drive my bill up enough to be able to triple all of my coupons. After ringing everything up, I am told that I can only use two internet coupons. Period.
      Boo!!!

Ingles in Mauldin SC had Purex 3 in 1 sheets marked down to 3.25 in a buggy by the door. Used a 3 dollar off coupon and paid 25 cents.

Have to say I loved the triple coupons this week. Walked thru the store isle by isle w/my coupon binder and saved $77 with coupons! Granted I still spent $158, but that included meat, cleaning products and a some items I needed that I didn't have any coupons for. The Ingles I went to also accepts competitor coupons as well and let me stack several.
