I have never shopped Ingles with coupons before. I see that their deal on Duke's Mayo is better than Bi-Lo, where it is 2.50. I also see that they will only double 2 identical coupons. Does anyone know if you can do multiple transactions to buy more than 2? It just dawned on me that I drive right past Ingles to get to Publix. I could take advantage of this deal, especially considering I am almost out of Dukes.

      • Becky

Yes, you could do multiple transactions, but the “hitch” with Ingles is that you have to buy $10.00 for every three coupons that you have doubled, which makes it a little tricky (for me anyway) to shop. So you couldn't just run in and buy two Duke's Mayo and get your two coupons doubled. You would have to add something to your order to bring the total up to $10.00 before coupons.

        • Suemh

Thanks for your reply. There are a few other things that interest me. I figured I could stop in two times and get a total of 4 jars, splitting the rest of my list into 2 transactions to put me over $10 each time.

          • Gina

You can't shop in the same day with the same coupons. You are only allowed 2 coupons with the one Item per day.

            • Lana

Hubby and I often shop together and I do a transaction and then pass the card to him and he does another.

            • Christa

I have often used more than two identical coupons in the same transaction and have never had the limit enforced, at several stores in Asheville.

            • nan.coupon

Lots of issues & inconsistancies with the store in Mars Hill. The Wearerville store refused to take an internet coupon after I had $103 in coupons (insert & internet) 2 weeks before. Jenny is doing a Couponing Workhop for us in Asheville on August 25. Click on Coupon Workshops at the top to register. I hope to see you there. I have mastered CVSing and am going to do Bi-Lo & Walgreens this week.

            • Suemh

I think I'll try 2, a couple of hours apart. If they don't double the second time, its still a great deal.

            • Jim

I work at an Ingles, and at the one I work at, all we care about is more than two identical internet printed coupons (but we rarely even enforce that). If you do it as two separate transactions regardless of the day it should be fine.

          • Suemh

FYI: I went to I ngles 2 times today, each time using 3 Dukes coupons. They all doubled! The first trip I got 3 quarts of Dukes and 4 boxes of cereal for 3.64.

    • Suemh

If anyone has a zip for the Chex Mix, please post. I have tried several and can not get it.

    • lambert101

okay so i just went to ingles, bought 8 boxes of General Mills, gallon milk, and a pound of ground beef… i watched on the monitor for the $4 to come off for the GM… it came off twice..(but only applied once). my total ended up being 15$, so i paid it, went to customer service and they said the limit is once (?) so i returned 4 boxes and got 8$ back… so i ended up paying 2$ for the four boxes… good deal, but i wanted more :(

      • Lana

If you look at look at the Ingles ad online or in your paper the $4/4 cereal deal says limit one per transaction. YMMV on whether your Ingles would allow back to back transactions.

      • Ashley

Just do it as 2 separate transactions next time

    • Lana

28 oz Van Camp's Pork and Beans $4/5. There was a 50/1 Q in todays Smartsource. 25 cents a can.

    • Shelley

I'm fairly new to couponing. Can someone please tell me exactly how many coupons (and which ones) you use to get the GM cereals for 25¢?

      • momto2boys

You buy 4…your total will be $8.00 then you get $4 off for buying 4 making it $4 then you use 2 of the $1.50/2 coupons taking off another $3 making it $1 for 4 boxes of cereal or 25cents each.

        • tdl3boys

Where in the circular or in the store does it say that if you buy 4, then you get $4.00 off. I did not see that anywhere in my store.

          • momto2boys

Top of the ad on pg 4.

    • Molly

Thanks for posting the Ingles info every week! This is the only site I know of that list it! You save me money! I am loving the GM Cereal Deal!

    • Megan

Goodnight boxers are on sale!! Great weekly special. 7$ off so they are $2.98 and then I had a $1.50 coupon!! AWSOME!

    • Annamariec76

My store had mega packs of pampers and huggies on sale for between 8-10$ A HUGE deal paired with the $3 huggies coupon!!

Also, for some reason, my store has NEVER limited me on the number of “identical” coupons. For instance, once I bought 7 tony’s pizzas with 50cent q’s and all 7 were free. It was before I even knew there was such a rule…it hasn’t deterred me since from trying. I live in western nc.

    • annamariec76

I'm irritated. They have mega packs of diapers on sale for half off which of course is an awesome deal but I sent my hubby with a $3 coupon and he was told they #1 couldn't accept it for something already on sale. BS! and #2 they don't accept internet coupons for aounts over a dollar…again BS! I have used many many $1.50 and $2.00 coupons in that store. I am planning to go back with the receipt and ask them to show me where those 2 policies are true.

      • Lana

Sounds like the Duncan SC store-I avoid that store.

    • Leigh

I am looking for help with Ingles…I live in Alabama and am passing through Georgia and wanted to stop and take advantage of a few deals. I was wanting to pick up Duke's mayo(w/ Q), 4 boxes of cereal (w/ Q & card), batteries (w/ Q), and 2 Suddenly Pasta Salad (w/ 2 Q). If I am correct, then I would have enough for them to double 3 of my coupons that are 50 cents or less? So I have my total being $3.28 approx.? Just wanting to check and make sure that I understand correctly from someone who frequents this store. Thanks for the help

    • Aimee

I rarely shop at Ingles, but there are a few things on here that would make it worthwhile! Do you have to buy two to get the BOGO price? Thanks.

      • Jim

        No you do not

    • Chrissy

I don't usually shop at Ingles b/c of their odd coupon policy, but the cereal deal was just too good to pass up. I also had 5 coupons for $1.50 off Classico Red Sauce (makes them .50 each). I planned on doing 2 separate transactions to get the cereal deal twice. I had a .55 off Cinnamon Toast Crunch, one 1.50 off 2 Gen. Mills cereals, and a .55 off Lucky Charms. The cashier took one look at all my coupons and immediately called the manager over to see if could use that many internet coupons. He sat there and scrutinized the coupon and told me I could only use one at a time. Apparantly each coupon said “May not be used with any other coupon”. So I said fine, forget the cereal. Then, I put the 5 jars of Classico with their coupons up on the conveyor belt. She saw the high-value and called the manager again to see how many of those I could use. The manager read the coupon, and told me it said the same thing “Only one coupon per customer”. I was so upset by this time that I decided to teach them a lesson. I had the cashier ring up each jar of Classico separately to get the good deal. By the time she was finished, I think she was wishing she hadn't pushed the issue. I've NEVER had this problem (except, oddly enough, at CVS the other day). I won't be going to Ingles ever again with coupons. Thanks goodness for Bi-lo and Publix!!!!! Has anyone else had an experience like this?

    • Julie

I hate to hear all the issues with IP coupons. I stopped by an Ingles I rarely go to b/c it was on my way home and did great. Got the cereal deal (can't beat 4 boxes for $0.25 each!) and 2 of the pizza/breadsticks. Those were my only coupons but my cashier didn't even bat an eye.

    • Lisa R

The Ingles in Ringgold, Georgia can not be beat. The managment is just tops, and the store is clean, produce fresh, meat nice, adequate quantities of products and a large variety. I L O V E this store. If yours isn't that way, write headquarters and tell them, they really do want to know. After reading these, I just have one thing to say: THANK YOU MANAGMENT AND STAFF AT THE RINGGOLD INGLE'S!!!

      • Linda

The Ingles at Keith Bridge Rd. in Cumming Ga. is great! The employees are as friendly as Publix's employees. The manager T.J. is the best! This is the only Ingles I will go to in the Cumming area. Dawsonville Ingles is the worst the employees are rude and they don't always use all the coupons I give them but keep them I won't go there again.

    • mollie456

The Ingles in Greenville SC had Lance crackers 2/$4 use $1/2 coupon makes them $1.50 and Wacky Mac for $1.25 use $.50 coupon from the paper this week makes them $.25

    • I just got home from Ingles where I got 8 boxes of cereal (2 Lucky Charms, 2 Trix, 3 Total (cranberry, blueberry, and raisin bran), and 1 Cinnamon Toast Crunch) for $0.46 a box! This is my first BIG coupon save and I am soooooo excited!!! Thanks so much SouthernSavers!!!
