I am really excited about the ground beef and chicken prices!!

    • Tigress1321

with the pizza roll sale it is 99 cents and there is a coupon listed as .50/1 can you use that or not because after it triples there would be overage.

      • Tigress1321

although it should be the same with the teatly tea bags right? can we use the coupon if there is going to be overage. I'm sorry kinda confused. thank you

    • Myraguff

I was told by a manager during their last triple week that you can still use them even if it creates overage – might only be because you would probably have other items that would absorb the overage. If you end up with an actual negative balance due, I'm not sure.

    • Jovialjax

the link for $.50 coupon list is not working for me…

    • hohum

The link for $.50 coupon list doesn't work for me either. But what is worse, I can't print anything off the southernsavers site since it was changed.

      • Jovialjax

i have had no problem printing. in fact, this is the first problem i've had since the site was changed.

    • Bbethb79

Just ran to Ingle's to price check a few things, so I thought I would share. All these are printables if you still have them…

      Dixie Crystals sugar $2.50-.50IP tripled=$1
      French's mustard $1.41-.50IP tripled= .09MM
      French's Worchestershire $1.58-.50IP= .08
      Bisquick 40 oz $3.31-.50IP= $1.81

Also SOBE water is on sale 5/$5 with the b1g1 it's a pretty good way to make your $10 total. Also on the Tetley it did give overage so helped bring that $10 total down a little. My store is EXTREMELY strict and rude about using coupons, so if it worked there, I'm sure it should work for you too! :)

Any other good finds with triples? I have some Rayovac qs left to use, so that will get me to the $10 total I hope.

      • Ewynn61689

Our store is strict too. I work at ingles. I love triple coupon week. It's my favorite. I love seeing how much people save and how good they are at couponing. Sorry your store is rude about it.

        • Bbethb79

Wish you worked at my store, I'd plan my shopping trips around your schedule :)

    • Couponmom1205

I used coupons for $.50 off of Mount Olive Pickles. At Ingles with the triple coupons it made each jar only $.48 cents. The coupons are in the Smart Source for 8-1-10. Just thought I'd share.

      • teresa duncan

        Thanks for sharing

    • Jessicatyne84

Just went to Ingles and total was 47.52 and I paid 24.34!! Pretty good for Ingles I was able to use all my coupons that I wanted to triple and I received a 3.00 off next order from Pillsbury since I bought 4 cans of Pillsbury items and used my coupons! Also good buy!! ATKINS shakes and bars are on sale for 5.98 and with the 50cent coupons you can get 1.50 each box those are expensive so I thought that was pretty good! Also Jello packs are 2.98 so a nice 1.50off with tripled 50cent coupon !!! Jenny THANKS for posting Ingles ad last night I was able to prepare last night and go after church! THANKS LOVE YA Southern Savers

    • Jovialjax

Thanks! You are so quick to answer my email and the link works perfectly now! What a blessing you are!! JB

    • DPteach4Him

Question on the B1G1 Kens 8 oz dressing (save $1.88/2 or .94 ea) in the add – if you use the B1G1 coupon on it, then are they both free? Thanks for this site – you helped me shave $300 off our grocery bill last month after just 1 month of “couponing” for my family of 6, when before I just bought the store brands & never even looked at a flyer/coupon!!! THANK YOU!

      • Couponmom1205

At my Inlges they have always let me have them for free in that situation. :-)

        • DPteach4Him

Thank you – I was curious as to how that worked as I was making my list & counting $'s so that I stay in budget. :-)

      • Ewynn61689

I actually work at ingles…and we do not do that at the store I work at.

If our item is on sale…here is an example

Lay's Chips are b1g1 this week. So they are 1.99 each.

At ingles you do not have to purchase 2 items to get the item for the sale price, like b1g1. Our registers are set to take 1/2 of each item.

So when a person has a b1g1 coupon for a b1g1 item, at my store, they do not get both items for free.

However, I do not that this is fair at all.

        • Gwen1870

you CAN get them BOTH FREE if you TELL THE CASHIER YOU WISH TO WAIT TO SCAN YOUR CARD LAST!! thats the trick of the trade…all these store cards mess up extra savings!! like for the chips for example the computer only thinks you bought one chip after your card is scanned so i wont scan a BOGO coupon , but if you wait to scan your card after your coupons , than it will take it!

      • Ptblues222

My Ingles does not allow frees that are internet printed. You might want to call the store and quest the coupon policy.

    • Jogarrett63

I don't shop Ingle's much as I always run into problems with coupons… I shop at the one in Picken, SC. And yes, I do follow their coupon policy to a “T”. I also exercise “coupon” etiquette by not using coupons meant for something else etc. At the self-checkout you have to give all your coupons to the cashier for them to scan. I perfectly understand their reasoning why they have you do this (to cut down on coupon fraud). With that said, Ingle's should do their part and make sure the cashier at the self-checkout is careful to ring up ALL the coupons correctly. The cashier did not ring up all of mine, therefore I paid out of six dollars more than I should have. Before paying, I went to her and politley asked were all my coupons included in my transaction and she assured me they were. They were not and I have no way of proving anything because the printer only printed half of my receipt. I did not realize that until I got home. The store was packed and I would've felt terrible holding up the line.

One thing I did notice after I got home was that for the 2) 2-Liter 7-ups that I used a B1G1 coupon for they dedcuted $1.78 for the coupon. They were on sale for $1.25, she should've only deducted $1.25 off my bill. My question is, if they submit the coupon for reimbursement at at rate of $1.78 is that not coupon fraud on their part? Their is a place for them to fill in the amount.

In all fairness to Ingles, when I call them to politley complain, I will report the overage as well as the shortages. It's only fair.

'sorry this is long, I just needed to vent.

      • Ptblues222

Ingles is the closest grocery store to my home, therefore I have been involved with their coupon policy for years. I have noticed that if a coupon isn't used, they DO NOT give it back. I am sure the store cashes it in. I am very careful with Ingles because it is easy to be the loser! Overall, I avoid them except for meat specials because they often have empty selves during B1G1 sales. Of course, I will shop during the triple coupon week. I must spend $80 to use all my most needed coupons, then I paper clipped the single teas and aids to use if I have $70 more spending. Like I said, be very careful with this store.

    • Alexmccarrell

I can't find the $3 off worlds best cat litter coupon…does this mean the print limit has been reached so it no longer shows up?

    • Anna

Is the double/tripling of 3 coupons with a $10 purchase before or after coupons? In other words do you actually have to spend $10 or does your subtotal just need to be equal to $10?

      • Ewynn61689

Your subtotal has to be $10 before the coupons will triple. I work for ingles…this is a problem we encounter alot. People think they will get 3 coupons tripled just because the total was within 10$, like if their total was $6.78, they think their coupons should double or triple in this weeks sales. But no, it must be 10$ before it will double or triple 3, then $20 for it to double or triple 3 more (so 6 in total), so on and so forth.

      • Kathyscoupons

It is a $10 subtotal. I usually have some coupons that are less than .50, so I give them all the 50 cents coupons first, then 40 cent, then 35 cent… If I don't have enough to triple everything, I want to triple the 50's first. Judging by my list, that won't be a problem this time!

        • Ptblues222

          Excellent suggestion!

I have a question – Can you freeze the Pillsbury items, such as the crescent rolls, biscuits and cinnamon rolls? I plan to remove them from the cans prior to freezing (obviously). Just not sure if they will freeze and then cook correctly. Any information will help! Thanks!

      • coupongal

I have frozen them before. Just be sure to thaw them in the refrigerator.

        • Anda

Thanks! I am looking forward to having them stocked up :)

Can someone please give me the zip code for the world's best cat litter coupon? Having trouble finding it.

TIP FOR GETTING THE MOST OUTTA YOUR COUPONS AT INGLES THIS WEEK! Since you have to spend at least 10 dollars to use 3 coupons….when the cashier asks for you card, tell her you like to wait until the end to see your savings and scan your card after your coupons!!! you will save more this way because the store advantage prices with not take affect until you scan your card……for example on BOGO items that have BOGO coupons…if you scan your card first the computer wont take your coupon because it thinks you've only bought 1 item due to the Advantage Card…But if you request to scan your card last you will get both items free…some stores might not be as leaniant as others doing that…if you can do your shopping about 2 hours before the store closes..usually nobodys around looking over cashier shoulders and most of them have no problem trying to help you save money :)

      • Alicia

I'm pretty sure that normally your coupons will not double unless you scan your card so I'm pretty sure it would be the same for triples. Good idea, in theory. I just think the register won't triple the coupons until after you scan your card.

        • Ambermellon

At Ingles, you have to present your card first for your coupons to double. I have discovered it on mistake. I make sure to tell the cashiers that as it is an error in their POS.

    • Muralonthewall

has anyone shopped the regular items to see if any are free or very close to it with tripling? I don't want anymore frozen yogurt or pilsbury stuff… but wondered about stuffing… rice… betty crocker etc. just wondering.

    • Valerie

The last time Ingles had triple coupons, the cashier very carefully went through all my coupons and separated out all the ones that said “Do not double or triple” and would not double or triple them. This should be a no-brainer, but it's never happened to me before. When I said that, the manager (who happened to be standing close) said that that's how they should do it. I couldn't really argue with them, after all, the coupon clearly states that it shouldn't be doubled (or tripled), but I ended up putting a lot of stuff back because of this. Has this happened to anyone else, or for those of you who work there, have you done this before?

      • Carol

I've never had that happen before at Ingles. The register automatically doubles or triples and the cashiers usually don't pay attention. However, I am curious as to why manufacturers put that wording on the coupon anyway. If the store decides to double or triple the coupon, the store pays the cost of the double or triple and not the manufacturer, right?? Just wondering….

Hi! I would like to give 2 FYIs and then give my Ingles price list to hopefully help save time for others doing the triple coupon shopping this week.

      1. The Ingles in Griffin and Barnesville, GA have updated their computer system to automatically triple the coupon (it used to automatically double, but then the cashier would have to manually key in each triple). But you won’t see -$.50, -$.50, -$.50, for a $.50 Q, you will see -$.50, -$.1.00. It will show the single figure and then that figure doubled.
      2. Also, the Ingles here only doubles/triples coupons up to the non-sale price. For example: Success Rice non-sale price is $1.28, sale price $1.00, with $.50/1 Q tripled will show up on receipt like this: -$.50, -$.78 ($.50 + $.78 = $1.28 non-sale price).

Sorry, the 3rd Newman's entry under the canned category should read:

        Newman's Popcorn (not Pasta) for $2.08 – $.50/1 = $.58……

and of course should have been in the snacks category!

      • Brooke

I shop in Griffin and Barnesville, too!

      • Teresa Duncan

Thanks for the info. I know this took time. Was hoping someone would shop and post. Again , thanks!

      • ireneY

Wow, thank you for the list! I am visiting my mom, who lives near an Ingles. After hearing how complicated it could be and seeing the after-Q prices, I may not go after all. For an Ingles novice, it could be a disaster! :)

      • sharon60

I just wanted to send you a belated thank you for your post. I've never shopped at Ingles before but wanted some ground chuck and “price was right” so I read the posts before going on Sat. I had already used most of the Q's you mentioned but was thrilled with the Skippy and Pompeian Red Wine Vinegar.

    • Redkitchen2002

Rrbarr, can you tell us what insert and dates you found your coupons in the Cleaning category? Some you listed are not in Jenny's list. Thanks!

      • Rrbarr

Hi! I wish I could, but I cut and binder all mine so I don't know. I also get some from magazines, products, and mailers. Not only do I go through Jenny's list, but I go through my binders writing down all my $.50 or less coupons. Sorry……

    • Brooke99

Here what do I give triple coupon first then hold back high value coupon because cashier always goes for the high value first. Therefore you get your entire coupon triple. Then give high value I if need more money add a gift card to get gas, you always need gas.

    • sharon60

I normally don't shop at Ingles but the price of ground chuck sounds good. Ad says 3lbs, does anybody know if it's a family pack or one of those pre-packaged tubes? I have tried the tube from Krogers and don't care for them. Thx

      • Erin

it's a fresh family pack not the tube.

        • sharon60

          Thanks!

    • Clarkwoman

I did a short trip the other night at spent $23 on $75 worth of groceries and that included A LOT of meat. Thanks SOOO much!
