    • Couponjenny

Would the Texas toast be free?

      • Sillysnicks

I think so since Ingles would double the .50 coupon up to the total (no overage).

    • Morgan

I am not trying to be critical, but some of the math is backwards. Classico and Birdseye are two that I noticed.

      • Sorry I had someone help me with the math today and forgot to check that part over before posting :( all fixed now I hope (though I still probably missed something)

    • Braylynnis

Not familiar with ingles q policy, can't u only use 3 coupons there? Can anyone elaborate on it for me?

      • Sillysnicks

For every $10 before coupons they will double 3 coupons. Internet Printed (IP) coupons are limited…no “free” printed coupons and sometimes limited to 2 or 3 per like item depending on the cashier. So, if you have 4 .40 coupons for the yogurt and you want to buy 4 you may have to do different transactions or just put your coupons in a different order :+)

        • Bee

LOL That's what I do is mix the like coupons throughout the stack.

      • Amy

I always buy a gift card to count toward my total if I want to double more coupons but don't need to spend that much. Then you can use more coupons and use the gift card for gas or groceries the next time you go. :)

      • Lanavdixon

Three coupons per $10 of your total before coupons.

    • Bee

Not to be weird, but the Blue Dog Bakery ingredient list contains better ingredients than what's in people cookies. Absolutely nothing in there that's artificial, unlike many things we put in our body. And they are made in the USA.

      • Sillysnicks

They smell really good, like they could taste good. My dogs love them!

    • Heather

Can anyone tell me, that if on the BOGO can you just buy one item and get it for the half price or do you have to buy two of that same item?

      • Pkevinkim

You can just buy one and it will be half price.

    • C.B.

I have a question ;I went to Ingles tonight and the price for the chicken strips was $4.98 instead of $3.98;has this happened to anybody else? I believe it is because I used a coupon for it,happened with the pillsbury deal too,

      • bev 37

the ad starts sun not sat

      • Lanavdixon

I had the same thing happen with the Pillsbury deal. The register took off the $4 and then added it back on after my coupons were scanned. The manager did an over-ride and took the $4 back off. I had to get a raincheck for the Tyson because they were out so I don't know about that.

        • C.B.

          Thanks.

    • RDS

Where is the coupn for the Chinet Casual plates? I registered but could not locate a coupon.

      • Mommyshortstuff

It will be emailed within 2 hours

      • Kristan

It says it will send you an email with a link. I just got mine. It took about 20 minutes to get the email.

    • Rrbarr

Anyone know a zip code for the Tetley tea?

    • Mommasalty

There is a coupon for the Santa Cruz juices at the website http://www.scojuice.com/.

      • Bee

Thank you. This coupon says “Check ID”. Okay, I'm quite sure that the day a cashier has to check ID for a $1.00 coupon we are not going to be able to use coupons at all.

    • Y0gastyle
    • cdh1

I got this off of a catalina– Buy 3 or more Kellogg's cereals and get one gallon of milk free. May be a good deal with the Kellogg's BOGO and coupons.

      • Lanavdixon

Do you have more details on this? Ounce size of the cereal, ANY cereal? and the dates it is good for? Thanks

        • cdh1

I don't have the cat with me right now, but I can post the details later. I did this today with the cereal that is on sale, used coupons, and received a catalina for a free gallon of milk on my next order. I know this runs until sometime in early April.

        • carolinagirl

          Straight from the catalina::
Buy any three or more Kellogg's Cereals [8.7oz or larger, any flavor, mix or match] in one shopping order between 3/18/2011 and 4/9/2011 and get one gallon of free milk [up to $3.59, any brand, any flavor] on a future order with coupon.

          Hope this helps! :)

    • Leah

Does anyone know what the 'Ingles Advantage Mail Rewards' is? Is that the Ingles shopping card? One of the items listed says you have to sign up to get the price listed.

      • Tashia3378

My ad says it's the Texas Toast for .98 cents. She has it in the ad as a sale item but mine has it as the sign up and start savings. It is on sale this week for 2/$4 w/o the sign up and save deal.

      • biskit0323

Go to the Ingles Supermarket website. I can't never remember the site. I always search on Yahoo for it. It will have the toast advertised on the home page of the site. I just signed up last week. So far I know that they will send you an email of their flyer on Sunday morning that you can check the items you want and print your grocery list. Your list will give the sale price and how much you are saving, whether it's a B1G1, etc.,

      • Reednshannon

Yes I acutally signed up for it…A couple of things happen. #1. You get alerted via e-mail everyweek with what the new circular is. #2 You will get e-mails periodically that will send you coupons. The coupons that I have recieved have been for high dollar things, such as milk, laundry detergent, frozen veg, and produce. It also sends you coupons for like $5 off $25 purchase and such. Being that it cost me nothing to sign up it has really worked out for me. If you are worried about giving out your e-mail, create an account through g-mail or yahoo and use that one.

Thanks for the info, everyone. My Ingles trip was a bust today. I didn't realize I needed to wait for the coupons to load to my card so I didn't get the deal. AND I misunderstood the coupon policy. I didn't realize you had to spend a minimum of $10 to get 3 coupons to double. I thought you could get 3 coupons to double if you spent $10 or less. So, I missed out on a lot of savings. Add to that Walgreens screwing me out of some deals and I wasn't a happy couponer today.

I have found that at most stores when you have a product that is on sale and you have a coupon that will take more off than the product you can buy enough product to match the dollar amount of the coupons you have and you want lose the overage that way. Like this week at Ingles I had 6 coupons for the No Yoke Noodles equalling $6 off I bought 9 No Yoke Noodles for $6.03 used the six coupons w/o the computer beeping because the $ amount of coupons was not over and only payed .03cents for all 9. This has worked for me at Publix as well.

      • Prsol

@Tashia3378, let's say you decide to get only 6 Noodles.
Could you use the overage to cover the expense for additional items (other than you 3 extra bags/boxes of noodles?)
Publix has free Mueller's free Mueller's pasta this week and I was hoping I could use the overage toward something other than 2 or 3 more boxes pasta…
Thanks in advance for your input. :-)

I heard that Ingles has a Box Top Bonus this week. Does anyone know what it is? Or what I have to do to get the Bonus Box Tops???

      • KellyL

the bonus box tops are sent to your school electronically on a quarterly basis. If you go to ingles website there will be alink for you to click on for more info. You can also log on the box top portion of the site and it will give you a history of your bonus tops & give you details of upcoming items. Most of the time you have to purchase 4 soups, pillsbury items, pizza to get a min. of 10 tops.

      • Rebecca

you can go to http://www.ingles-markets (dot) com/bonusboxtops to see the offer. when you click on the link to see the participating list items it will take you to an offer page that's expired, but the list attached says it is accurate for the whole year. i just looked at it and it's got a buy 10 items get 50 bonus boxtops deal this month, and like a buy 2, get 5, buy 3, get 10, buy 5, get 20 (something like that). caveat, if you've linked your card you won't get a catalina printout to give to the school (or boxtops coordinator at the school), it just automatically goes into your school's linked account, so if for some reason you didn't earn the boxtops you won't know it until a few weeks go by and you get an e-mail update. I prefer to know if there's a problem immediately so that I can get it rectified (because if you e-mail them, they're not going to give them to you later – already tried once several months ago, and never did get the ones I earned)

AT ingles there is a $1 off the fab laudry detergent, making it 2.98 for 2. I wasn't sure if you could use on on each. Not sure that I had two, but if you did, it would then be 1.00 each.

      • Mjb52403

Where did you find the FAB coupons? recently?….

    • June

My store gave me a problem about the must/sauce cvombo pack–they said that was the b1g1 itself! Not how ad read to me or how Jennie figured it–did anyone else have a problem?

      • Bee

This is odd. I pulled out my paper ad and it has a picture of the combo pack with the two mustards packaged together. It states, “14 oz. French's Yellow Mustard Pack Buy 1 Get 1 Free” It also states “Save 2.18 on 2” so one would be 1.09. In my interpretation, it says the PACK is B1G1. It is extremely misleading if they are telling you that the pack itself is the B1G1 deal. I think this is one instance where I would ask for manager and maintain that the ad states otherwise. I know it's just a couple of dollars, but still….

      • Jamie

I had the same problem! My store is in Acworth, GA. The manager was very unprofessional and rude. When I politely argued the matter she did end up giving it me at the sale price. However, they did not double any of my coupons (though I spent $30) and then forgot to give me my receipt. I didn't realize this until I had already buckled 2 kids into carseats in the parking lot. Without my receipt I can not even make sure they charged me correctly for my other items. That was my first experience with Ingles and I think it is going to be my last! Well, atleast I feel better after getting that off my chest :-)

    • Lora

Just FYI – The Cottonelle 4-pack listed here for $2.50 says after coupon it will be $1.50, but I don't think that's possible because the $.50 coupon that prints states “Do not double.” I think the cheapest we can get the 4-pack is $2.00, which is about the same savings as buying the 12 pack for $5.99-$6.99 when they go on sale.

      • Bee

Many coupons that say “do not double” actually do. Mine do at Kroger and the cashier doesn't even have to do anything–the computer automatically does it.

    • mary

I was going to try to get some of these deals, but I really only need the “deals” and if I have to spend $10 to double coupons, it doesn't really make it a deal for me. I guess I will see what deals I really want and try to work up a scenario that I can double the coupons. Does this frustrate anyone else? I really prefer Publix, but there were some good deals at Ingles that I wanted to try and get this week…..I'll see how it goes.

      • Bee

This is a common complaint with Ingle's. I see a lot of deals that don't require doubled coupons, so totally still worth it to me.

I shop Ingle's for several reasons, not the least of which is their superior meat which is still priced competitively. I love Kroger for deals, but their meat has gone a little downhill in recent years.

Ingle's also carries some great brands that I can't get elsewhere.

Yes, it's true a person would not be able to walk in and use a handful of coupons (and have them double) buying only the items that would be free. For example, the egg noodles:

Buying $10 worth would be about 15 packages.
        Total before coupons: 10.05
Total after coupons (with only 3 doubling): 1.05

Doesn't seem like such a bad deal for me at .07 per package.
Even if Ingle's only doubles the first 3 coupons up to the amount of the product (.67) you are still only paying 2.04 for 15 packages (.14 each).

I'm not sure how much cheaper it should get–I know Publix has started changing some of their stacking policies.

I can't work through every possible scenario, but it wouldn't be hard to mix-and-match deals to get a comparable savings.

I am not an Ingles shoper for the most part, but today, I left there a very HAPPY lady. I got 103.00 dollars worth of food for 52.34 and to boot..I got a coupon for free milk next time and $1.50 off my next order….hehehehe love it..

    • Monzellia

WOW I don't shop Ingles, but I will today! Wish me happy couponing!

      • Bee

Happy couponing, LOL! I can't make it there until tomorrow, so I don't know how many rain checks I will have to get. That's okay, since I am mostly just stocking up, anyway.

In the past, I have had pretty good luck going at the end of the week to Ingle's. I think I've only ever had to get one rain check.

Went to Ingles today. Before savings $102.96, total paid $33.94. http://www.flickr.com/photos/6
