Could a Gramma learn to coupon on a iPad? I’ve saved so much money with those apps on my phone. $$$ Would love to try on an iPad. That would be wonderful… SouthernSavers has helped our budget a lot.

We’re going to use coupons to buy only what we need and not the things that we just plain want. I doubt we will be able to save the full thousand, but a 10% savings should be doable! :)

I plan to continue to use the great tips on Southern Savers to find deals on items I would ordinarily purchase. I also will commit to cut out eating lunch at work at least 2 days a week and take my lunch to save money.

I am going to turn off the cable box because they use a lot of energy witch equals a lot of money witch means I have more for shopping. I will also get more Greenville newspapers and double up on the coupons. I also will save money by going to stores that give u coupons when u check out and use those. I also will get like I have done a couple times and take coupons people leave in there buggies. As well as keep up on the updates u send me. Thx southern savers.

I will use coupons and the southern savers website, built my stock pile when products go on sale, make a list before going to the store and stick to it, buy what I need not what I want, I will pack my lunch, no more dining out for this month, continue to use my ibotta and checkout51 apps as well as mrebates.com when I shop online.

    • Nole Life!

I have never couponed before. I can’t wait to start saving money! I just bought a new printer (on sale!), and a friend of mine told me about this website. So, I’ve been reading up on all the “How To’s” of couponing. I saved my first coupon insert (and put the date on it) and put it into a folder – very exciting! September will be my first month…perfect for your theme of $1,000 September Savings Challenge. We were spending between $125 – $200 a week on groceries – I can’t wait to see how much we’ll save on groceries alone. Going forward, I will also make sure to get coupons/deals for all of our other purchases like clothes, vitamins, paper goods, diapers & pull-ups! My husband and I will also committ to taking our lunch to work everyday and only eating out twice a week on the weekend (huge difference – before we were randomly taking our lunch to work and eating out about 5/6 times). I can see how these changes are going to save us HUGE money, and also calories from eating out so much…so we’ll be slimming our budget, as well as, our waistlines! I’m excited for these changes for my family!
