kmart cottonelle deal

Many of you have sent emails this week about the crazy deal on Cottonelle toilet paper and Viva paper towels at Kmart.  I hesitated sharing the deal, because sadly all the pictures I’ve seen online have been people buying 21+ packages and lately that makes me a little frustrated.  Sorry, small soap box.

For anyone that can still find these in stock though, this is a great deal and worth grabbing.  If you can’t find this in the store, then ask for a rain check so you can get the deal later.  The Catalina coupon that is printing after your purchase will continue printing till 12/1 so you have a few weeks to get the deal with a rain check.

The Deal:

Get $3 off instantly when you buy 3 participating products.

Products:
Cottonelle 12 big rolls, Viva 6 rolls, Kleenex 3-4 pk., or Cottonelle Flushable Wipes Refill 168 ct., at $3.99

Two of these have a catalina coupon printing too.  This is a coupon that prints after your purchase that is good for anything you buy in your next transaction.

How do you know the catalinas will still be printing until the 3rd? Someone told me it will stop on saturday.

      • The catalina’s run nation wide at a number of stores not just k-mart. The instant savings will end this Saturday though.

        • Mark

“if you have a kmart card u get $3 off 3 instantly on top of the catalina and coupons” Kmart card is a credit card or free membership card? We can repeat more than one time with same Kmart card? Thanks.

        • sharon

Jenny Will they honor the instant savings if you have a rain check

          • sandy

            • sharon

My Kmart did issue rain check Guess I will find out when I go and try to use. Have copy of ad in flyer also. Guessing this will not be easy.

      Am I misunderstanding this? How does 3 $3.99 packages ($11.97) minus 3 $0.55 coupons ($1.65) equal $7.82? I’m getting $10.32, minus the $3 catalina, equals $7.32, equals $2.44/pack.

      • Robin

I had a small issue with it too: here’s what I missed:
You also get the $3.00 off instantly: so 11.97-1.65 (coupons) – 3.00 instant = 7.32, then another $3 to use later = 4.32/3=1.44 per package.
        Hope that helps!

        • Lauren Wickersheim

Oh I didn’t realize you got $3 twice! That’s awesome. Okay thanks Robin!

      • psh35

if you have a kmart card u get $3 off 3 instantly on top of the catalina and coupons

    • melissa

I did this deal the other day. I got 3 packages of the toilet paper (no coupons used) and got back the $3. I used the $3 and used (3) $1/1 viva couponds towards the Viva paper towels. The $3 I got back went towards a drink and candy lol

    • Fins UP!

I did this today. Their computer apparently has a glitch. It didn’t want to take the Catalina coupon even with the purchase of 3 TP’s and 1 other item. The mgr. had to come over and reduce one TP by $1.00 and NOT use but 2 $1.00 coups (which was good for me now I have extra coups). It then worked, but according to cashier, it had happened earlier today. So, be aware!

    • 7Blessings

How do you get more than 2 coupons printed? Sorry if this sounds silly.

      • You will have to have access to more than one computer.

        • 7Blessings

          Thank you Kayla.

    • Shanon0112

Have the coupons reached their limit? If not what zip code are you using to find the -.55/1 Cottonelle toilet paper, 9 pk coupon

      • Michelle

33033 or 77477 or 90210….these are just a few of the good q zips

    • ejaya700

How do you sign up to be a member?

    • Logansmom318

Ahhh I was at Kmart today and wish I had known about this! Although I was able to clean up on some fisher price using the $10 coupons :) they had some nice clearance and I had 3 coupons so I really cleaned up, essentially worked out so that my fisher price items were free. Pretty sweet when trying to Christmas shop for a 5 month old and a 12 year old.

    • happyinharned

The math isn’t adding up for me. 399 times 3 is 1197 minus 165 makes it cost 1032, then you get 300 back,,,that’s my kind of math

      • happyinharned

Sorry…I didn’t realize you get 300 off instantly off the top then a catilina too….a good deal and my math matches yours.

    • sharon60

Anybody know zip code for 55cents off Q?

    • Jessica

I cant find the viva coupon? any one know how to get it

    • Anne

My Kmart said that they no longer offer rainchecks; they now have an order online system. Well, I came home to order the toilet paper and paper towels online, and have them sent to the store so I could use my coupons, but they wouldn’t let me. They want you to reserve the product at the store and pick it up later. Well, I can’t do that because all the stores within 50 miles of my house have none of the toilet paper. I’m really aggrevated with Kmart. Having no rainchecks is a ridiculous policy, especially when their online system doesn’t work either. This is just a way for Kmart to not have to honor their sales.

      • Sis

Same for mine! Ugh. And these people who clear the shelves are ridiculous. I can understand getting a couple sets but the people who literally have a decade supply after 1 sale are inconsiderate individuals.

        • rachelmac13

alot of people are selling these items either at the flea markets, personal yard sales, or auctions. So, it’s a way to make money. with times at tough as they are right now and SOOO many out of work, you’ve gotta do what you can to provide for yourself and family. It’s better than sucking the government dry!! :o)
But I DO completely understand your frustrations at there being NOTHING left on shelves. It would work alot better if “shelf clearers” were to place an order for a palate of an item through the store. But Kmart isn’t exactly savvy enough to do that!! haha

      • Sis

Same for mine! Ugh. And these people who clear the shelves are ridiculous. I can understand getting a couple sets but the people who literally have a decade supply after 1 sale are inconsiderate individuals.

    • SmoochTheCook

I tried to pull a good scenario out of the Kleenex for this particular sale, but I’m still coming up with $7.75 for 9….not so great, in my opinion. I went to do the cottonelle deal earlier this week and my kmart was all out. Like Anne, my Kmart stinks and wants you to order online rather than the raincheck.

    • Kelly

I haven’t shopped at Kmart for years because everytime I would go in for a particular item, they wouldnt have it, customer service is terrible, the cashiers had no knowledge of anything related to their job and they were overpriced. I NEVER had a good experience and this was back in the day before I started using coupons. I wanted to try this deal so I just went to the store. Of course, they are all out of Cottonelle and Viva. I ask the girl at CS who speaks to her mgr who says that they do not issue rainchecks because they started their whole online shopping ship to home, blah blah but then she says in the same sentence that the TP and paper towels aren’t included with the online stuff but I still CAN’T have a raincheck. The manager then says a truck is coming in tomorrow but he can’t guarantee those items will be on it. The girl says I can leave my name and number for the next manager on duty – when will the manager get my note?? she says “Tonight before the truck even comes!! What good is that going to do me, I say. She just looks at me. Augh!! I am so frustrated with that store. Can you tell?!!! :)

      • Regina

I agree! I just had my bad experience. The aggravation and frustration is not worth it!

    • Regina

Beware if you try this deal at Kmart in Sumter, SC. NONE OF THE CATALINA MACHINE WORK!. And they know that before they ring you up. I was looking for mine to print and I told him to check and see if paper was in it and he said yes there is paper, so i said it should have printed a $3 Catalina and he starts beating around the bush and I finally asked him what was he saying and he said it doesn’t work and hasn’t for a while. Tried to ring it up at another register, it didn’t work either, customer service doesn’t even have a coupon machine!!! Geeezzz

      • toni

contact the Catalina company with your receipt information and they will issue you the catalina or refund.

    • Ashley

I was really pleased with my trip to my Kmart. They had plenty of the Cottonelle in stock, which is what I went for. I was pleasantly surprised at the register when I had $5.27 worth of points to use, so I paid $2.42 out of pocket for 3 of the 12 roll packages, and got the $3 Catalina, so like a $0.58 moneymaker!

    • shaina

ok so I did option #2
my total at the end was $10.14 plus I got a $2 printout coupon from the register….I don’t understand how it was supposed to end up being $6.42? not to mention the people that work at kmart are very rude. I will never shop there again.

      • hazybuck

I couldn’t get the math to work quite right either, but this is the math from my transaction – if I incorporate the Catalina into my OOP:

        Buy:
$3.99 Cottonelle Bath Tissue, 12 ct.
$3.99 Cottonelle Bath Tissue, 12 ct.
$3.99 Cottonelle lushable Wipes Refill 168 ct.
        $11.97 Total Bought

        Use:
$0.55 Cottonelle Toilet Paper, 9pk+ printable
$0.55 Cottonelle Toilet Paper, 9pk+ printable
$2.00 Cottonelle toilet paper, 12 pk.+ AND flushable cleaning cloths (share)
        printable
        $3.10 Total Coupons

$8.87 Total Bought MINUS Total Coupons

        $0.72 Tax (assume 6%)

$9.59 Total Bought MINUS Total Coupons PLUS Tax

        $2.00 Catalina

$7.59 Total Bought MINUS Total Coupons PLUS Tax MINUS Catalina

        HTH!

        • shaina

my kmart would only let me use the $2.00 off coupon and the .55 off coupon and not the other .55 off coupon…. b/c the $2.00 off coupon said toilet paper AND flushable wipes so they wouldn’t let me add on the other .55 on the toilet paper. I’m telling you our kmart is awful. the cashier stared at my coupons for like 5 minutes. then she called over the manager to make sure she could use them, then finally she scanned them. it was a pain.

          • sandy

I believe the cashier was correct in only taking one of the .55’s since the $2 Q is for two of your items.

    • Toni

My cashier didn’t notice that she only scanned two of the TPs instead of 3, and 3 coupons when I only gave her two. I was counting beeps and I saw her make the motions to scan one TP three times, so didn’t know about her mistake until it was all over. I did not get the $3 off nor the $3 catalina because she only scanned 2 of my 3 TP pkgs. But I did get a $2 Catalina since she rang up 2 rolls. I returned everything and started over without the coupons, but the second time around, I didn’t get any catalina at all. It was messy. Customer service was great in Gainesville, Florida, and ironed it all out for me, but it all took a long time, of course. I ended up with $ all square by the time it was over. The K-Mart in Gainesville, Florida, is a good one.

      • toni

Oh, and the register spit out a great SYW rewards coupon: You get $10 in rewards if you spend $35.

    • coupongirl

My k-mart was out of cottonelle also. Customer service lady said they no longer issue rainchecks because they offer online shopping. I asked if shipping was free and she said it should be. Asked if they accept my coupons online, she said they should. Went home, and none available within 50 miles, so cannot ship to store. Shipping to home is NOT free. They must want us to shop elsewhere. This is not going to help them stay open.

    • Kimberley S. Walton

I read on another site, if you spend $25, your $1 coupons double. I don’t normally shop here, so idk.

      • kelly

I was told by an employee that they double up to .50 coupons. I used .55 and they didn’t double.

    • Briana Austin

To anybody that was told that Kmart does not offer rainchecks anymore for pantry items, have them check the system! I was originally told this by the customer service associate, and while she was on the phone with warehouse people to see if they had any out back, she happened to check the system and there was INDEED a raincheck available in the system for the item! She herself was amazed as there “is usually never anything there!” WORTH A SHOT LADIES!

      • Sarah

They would not offer me the raincheck either.

    • frustrated

Hesitation on sharing a really good deal with loyal, coupon-code abiding followers because of fear that a few greedy folks will misbehave? Really?

    • Happy Gamish

My kmart customer service dais they are not allowed to issue rain checks any more. She didnt say why. Asked to speak with a manager and she said the same thing

    • Tracy Fields
