With text book prices being so high, any way to save money is great. Kindle currently has a $10 eTextbook Credit available on Amazon!

Just enter the code ETXTBOOK to have the credit applied to your account.

The credit can be used toward buying or renting. Renting textbooks from a store or Kindle is a great way to save money and avoid having a ton of textbooks you’ll never use again. It only applies to certain titles, so give it a try if there is a book you need.

You must redeem the credit before 1/9/12.

Am I the only one who wishes I could have had all my 20 lb college textbooks on an eReader instead?

    • Stasia_11

how do you enter the code?

      • If you click on the “add the credit to your account” link above, there is a yellow box to enter the code for your credit.

        • Brewerkt

I can’t find the “add the credit to your account” link.  Where should I be looking?

          • Tallponysbride

      • Smore93

what books were you able to get? When I search for etextbooks, it only brings up $70 books!

        • Wwkkss07

search price low to high…it isn’t 100% in order, but it does help you sift through if you are trying to find something cheap and interesting

      • Tallponysbride

        What titles did you get?

    • Jen

What books are you guys getting? I need ideas…Thanks!!

      • Smash

I have a high school age student, so I got the Grammar Workbook for SAT…

    • Smore93

so …. what books can we use this on? anyone found a good one yet?

    • I was looking at this last night (college student). It is a great deal if you are wanting to use it to buy your textbooks. You need to realize this is NOT for any other books except textbooks and it MUST have a box stating it qualifies for the Kindle credit. Otherwise it will not work for you.

    • Smoochthecook

Oh, heck yeah!  I so wish the books had been on digital media…my car and back would have faired a lot better.  The worst was in the snow…all those books felt a LOT heavier!  :)  Thanks for heads up.  We got mom a kindle fire for Christmas, so I’ll have her get it for sure.

    • Tonya

I am getting my master’s online and almost ALL of my books have been ebooks… the best thing is that they are free through the university, so I don’t spend $100 on a book that I can’t sell back at the end of the semester!

    • Arelis Rosario

I can’t use it :( not sure why!!!
