      Jenny,

      When does this sale end?

Also, want to say thanks for all you do…you help so many of us. Have a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year!

      • Jenny

It should be running all this week ending on Saturday.

    • Sarah

I got the idea from the e-mail that I got that this was online only. Can anyone confirm if it works in the stores? Thanks! :)

      • DJ

It does work in the store as well! :-)

    • Stephanie

We have this toy and I just wanted to warn you if your buying it for your kids. Its VERY annoying. If your buying it as a present for someone elses kid and you want to annoy them then this is perfect :)

I can’t get the annoying voice out of my head, “Simon says SPIN! Ready SPIN!” They say that over and over… it also has a music button but the music is just as annoying and of course my son insist on having the simon talking guy on. Its now hidden in the closet.

      • Dawn

That has to be the funniest thing that I have heard. I could picture my kids loving that and doing the same thing. I also remember having one of these back when my 7 year old was younger. Thank goodness back then it didn’t talk or have music. I probably would be sharing the same story. :)

        • sara

We took the batteries out of a musical sit n spin we had a few years ago.

          • Melanie H.

We also had 2 of them and I sold them at a yard sale because they were so loud!! But my kids did love playing on them.

    • Gwenn

Is this also at the Sears/Kmart combo store?

      • caroline

I don’t know if it’s a combo but I know Sears is having the same sale through Dec. 11th. I got it in an email this morning.

        • Damien Barber

I could not find the deal listed on Sears’ website. Perhaps I do not know where to look or it is not being advertised on their website. I will mostly likely check in store, since K-mart is about 25 miles away, but Sears is in town… not too sure though if this deal is good enough for me to lift my ban on shopping at Sears being as though their automotive people ripped me off for a few hundred dollars once upon a time.

Just wanted to let you all know that this is on the Potato Heads also. I went yesterday and used the $5 off coupons. The Spuds small ones were on sale for $4.99 so a money maker if you can find them. I couldn’t find but one.

      • j.hayes

WOW!!!! THAT’S A DEAL GOTTA HAVE IT… THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU JENNY FOR BEING GREAT!!!!

    • Michelle

Hi, I’m new to the coupon world and having trouble with this one. I tried K-Mart and Sears online. When I choose three of the same Playskook item (sit n’ spin) it does not discount one. And when I try to enter the codes from my coupons it doesn’t work.

      What am I doing wrong?

      Thanks!

    • amy

I have not shopped at Kmart. There is one convenient to me. Are they easy to use printable internet coupons with OR is it a hassle?

    • dana

I went to Kmart today in Taylors. Used 3 of the 10.00 Qs. Got 3 sit n spins for 17.48 total. Then in the next transaction I bought 2 gloworms(11.99 each) and one of the spin top toys(7.99), used two 3.00 Qs and a 5.00. spent 14.00.. No issues at all with the printer manufacture coupons, only you the one printed Kmart Q. They do not let you use their coupons on bogo offers. Great deal, saved about 70.00 on the toys and finished buying for our 4 nephews and niece! Thanks so much for the headsup Jenny!!!

    • wendy

went today and used three coupons with no problem. Toys total value was $45 before tax and I spent $22 after tax. Thanks for you help in getting great deals.

    • I Just went to both k-marts in dalton, ga i got 2 sit/spin, 1 dino hatch, 3 of the 4.99 patato heads, 3 of the acitivity bugs and 3 patato spud buds for all for 48.65 except for the small patato heads these toys rage from 12-23 each. 12 toys for 4.06 each. Even though we dont have young ones in our family these are great for charity (which my 8yr old boy is crazy about helping others)

Just went to KMart today to pick up a prescription for my 8 month old. I used a coupon for a $25 gift card for a new prescription (CVS coupon) when I paid at the pharmacy. I took the gift card and got 1 Sit N Spin, Busy Ball Popper, and the Step Start Walk N Ride. I used the $20 worth of coupons for these items, plus the free $25 gift card and got all 3 toys for $5.08 out of pocket!!!! (Well plus the prescription, but I was paying for that either way!!!) Thanks so much…. this website has saved me so much money!!!! Now I just need to decide whether to add these under the tree or give them to her for her birthday!

I also went to KMART and purchased three of the Dinosaur toys for my five year old granddaughter who is crazy about dino’s.

My daughter and I looked over the toys before the GRdaughter came home from school and couldn’t get one to activate at all.

The others don’t do all the movements mentioned on the box and only sporatically do the others.

These toys are very inferior for the price I paid for them.

How should I handle a return on these items? Do I have to forfeit my coupons or should I expect a gift card for the amount of the coupons? I only had two coupons on three items so they will still come out ahead on the transaction in my estimation.

There were only five of these items on the shelves and I bought three of them, so an exchange isn’t possible. Just need to get my money back and find better built toys.

As a word of caution, the boxes said “approved for 2+ years of age, but it takes a lot of effort to activate the toy, you can’t just pet the animal on the back and it goes into action. And still doesn’t work right after you finally get it going. I don’t think it would hold up to much of anything with any child, any age. I can imagine them pounding on it to get it going.

These toys are very cute but not cuddly at all. A softer toy with a child’s own imagination would be a lot more fun. Hope this long review helps someone with their choice of purchases.

If not at the store, would Playschool refund my money? Thanks for the tips on the returns.
