Is the dawn that is going to be on sale the hand renewal?

      • stephanie

That’s my question- has anyone tried to by it in the Atlanta area? I hope it’s included.

        • Floptician

I was able to get the hand renewal for free this morning, but the New Zealand springs scent rang up at $.89, so it was an $.11 money maker with the 50 cent coupon doubled.

    • Sarahbeth1210

    • Tab

That’s the Pamper’s price that they’ve had forever at my Kroger. :( I got all excited, I thought they’d be cheaper! LOL

    • Zstankard

Kroger has the Suave Men’s shampoo on Markdown for $1 each. I got 2 and use the $1/2 coupon and got both for $1 :) Good deal. The scent was peppermint (I really plan on using it for myself, lol)

      • maggie

where did you find the q?

    • Imaclutz78

Great price on Pampers, and I was a die hard fan of them until I discovered a few days ago, that the Walmart brand diapers are cheaper and work even better (especially for us lucky mothers that have babies that sleep through the night!). I only wish I had started using them before now! $13.97 a box!

      • mommyof1

we used were the walmart brand when my son was a baby! we tried, huggies/pampers/luvs.. and he would make a “mess” with all of them (and i changed him even if there was a drop! lol.. no diaper rashes for us!) and i would always come back to the walmart kind.  cant remember the exact name of the brand, but the only place you could get them was walmart..

        • mom of 4

Love the Parent’s choice brand!  So much cheaper than the name brands and work better. I also use their formula. I have four children and have used them for the last three.

      • Becky

I have also found that the Walgreens brand is as good or better than Pampers!  They can be really cheap sometimes.

      • Tab

Walmart diapers are papery and cheap and gave my child (and everyone I’ve ever met) a horrible diaper rash. Target ones are cheap and much softer than Walmart.

    • Be sure to check the Puffs Tissue box.  I received plenty of $1/1 Q’s for Puffs, Charmin, Charmin Wipes and Bounty in a small booklet (this was a few weeks ago).

They have come in handy with all the sales.

    • Crafty GaGa

The Dawn Hand Renewal is included at the Kroger in Irmo.  However a lady and her mother came in this morning and had wipped them completely out of all Dawn by 10 AM    Thank you Jenni for all of your hard work!!

    • Mrslove

Is it just me or does Kroger not want paper manufacture coupons used at their store? I have noticed that if something is on sale its the size, type, that is not compatible with the coupon. I’m so glad we have Publix nearby, I had never shopped there until Kroger started coupon hating!

      • Laddygirl

I have never had that happen at Kroger….

      • Renda Phillips

Yes, I’ve been having lots of trouble at Kroger lately. I used to shop there ALL the time but not any more. I pretty much only get my meat there. At a previous cartbuster sale, I wanted to stock up on toothpaste. We only have four people in our house, and I was buying four tubes of toothpaste. Two of the same for the kids and two of the same for hubby and me. They wouldn’t let me use a coupon for each toothpaste. I had $1/1 coupon for each. They said I’d have to do a different transaction for the two identical toothpastes, which then messed up my cartbuster. :(  I’ve encountered several situations like that recently. A while back, they were out of a sale item. When I went to customer service to get a rain check, they were very hateful about giving me a rain check. I used to love Kroger but not any more. I try to go there as little as possible, although, it does cut into my gas savings now.

        • Calpurnia78

Ive had it happen, I was told I had to break my order down to one coupon per transaction since the coupons said Limit one coupon per item..which its says on all coupons. it doesnt mean one per transaction. She was crazy crazy. Then I was told also only 2 electronic coupons per order not per like item. which is not correct. I went to one kroger the other day and lo and behold 2 of the cashiers I need to avoid were working. I went to the express lane even tho i had a few extra items.

    • Dial94

My store (Mt. Vernon, IL) had pepsi 12 pks. on sale 3/$9.  I used diet pepsi coupons 75 cents off to get the wild cherry diet pepsi for $2.25.  Pretty good deal.  I also found a bottle of pancake syrup on closeout for 59 cents.  Last one left though.

      • Laddygirl

        Dial,

I used to live in Mt. Vernon and shopped at that Kroger all the time :-) I love “the Vern” haha

      • Kim3158

I’m in Mt. Vernon too!  I figured I wasn’t alone, lol.

Community Coffee has a $3 off coupon if you like them on Facebook. Makes a great deal being on sale at Kroger for $4.99, use a $3 off coupon and pay $1.99. YEAH!

      • Rudy6

Where you able to print your coupon? I couldn’t find it.

    • zeb

Hmm.  Sales have been quite disappointing lately in all my local stores.  We don’t have Publix, Bilo or Harris Teeter in my area.   Wish we did.  Haven’t shopped at Kroger for weeks because the sales are so bad.  Hope they pick back up soon

    • LNO

I am pretty sure this week is a Cartbuster week at Kroger.

    • Loran

Im new to Kentucky and we only have a Kroger I am use to shopping at publix and their sales does Kroger double coupons? never had a coupon doubled before since I am coming from florida? please help

      • Brandylewis01

I would call the store and ask. I have shopped at Bowling Green, KY and they did there. Some stores have a limit. I have a regular Kroger and a Market Place in my town. One has a limit on doubling and the other doesn’t. I do not find as many good deals as I do at my local Publix.

      • Gmcouponer

I help family shop sometimes in Kentucky when I visit. Now the local kroger there allows 4 like coupons and 1 internet coupon per item. They will double the coupon of .50 cents and under. Now the doubling will only go as far to make the item free or up to 1.00.
So if the item is on sale for .80 cents and the coupon is for .50cents it will only double to the .80 cent price so it goes up .30 cents. They have been doing it for a while now. The only time if you are lucky that you will have an overage it when the coupon is not doubling thru the register. So again if the item is .80 and you have a 1.00 off coupon that is the only way to have an overage.  Now this has been my personal experience. I hope is said it in a way that was clear for you to understand… Good luck on your new location…

What part of Kentucky are you in?  If it happens to be the extreme western part of the state you could be in the Delta region of Kroger and there are different policies – like doubling 60 cents and under.

      • Cheshirecats4

Krogers in central, southern and Louisville area all double coupons that are .50 and under.  I don’t know about other areas. The sale prices are always higher than listed on this site and we never get BOGO free offers. My Kroger just went to only 2 internet coupons(that are the same) per order. No overage lately either.

    • Faith

Has anyone noticed that their Kroger no longer allows overage?  I found Colgate toothbrushes (two pack) in the clearance section for $0.49.  I had a mq for $0.50/1 that should have doubled to $1.00 and gave me $0.51 overage.  Instead, I was only given credit for the $0.49.  I have noticed this happening more and more often.

      • Faith

Forgot to add that I am in North Alabama

      • Star

Yes, I live in Atlanta but, I noticed that my Kroger stopped giving overage about 6 months ago.

      • lil A’s mom

         same in VA :(

      • Kellyjd84

My store won’t double past the value of an item, but if you have a Q that is more than the value you will get it then.

      • Barabarafox

Mine hasn’t for a long time–when they changed from taking paper coupons with the ecoupons.

      • Esangston

my kroger no longer takes coupons for clearanced items… i think its my fault tho.  they had some duracell chargers w/ 2 batteries marked down to $2.  i had $2 coupons.  I figured what the hey free batteries. so I picked up 6. the next day when I went to grab a couple more there was a sign saying they no longer accepted coupons for the barneys bargains items….. oops…

Just got back from Kroger in Newnan, Ga. I just got a catalina for $5 my next shopping order. I just got a few Easter clearance items, a couple of onions, a 5 lb bag of potatoes, and two loaves of the Nature’s own bread. Don’t know what prompted it, but I’ll take it! Has anyone else gotten one?

      • Krista

I too live in Newnan! What is a catalina?

        • Bri

Wow I am in Newnan too :)

        • Christie

It is an instant coupon that prints at the register…you can use it on your next purchases..most of the time..it doesnt matter what you buy..sometimes it says a particular item..hope this helps..

        • Daymon

OMG ladies, this is like a Newnan reunion! I live closer to the TC Kroger and when I go to the LF one I’m lost because everything is backwards and it takes me twice as long to find things. The LF Publix has a cashier there that is so nice to me, wish I remembered her name, but she is the bomb digity! We talk coupons ALL the time. I frequent the TC Publix and I can say there are a few cashiers there that are mean. They have this one old lady that I honestly believe hates couponers. They have a few female managers there that are so nice to me and help me out all the time. Overall, Publix rules! We are lucky in Newnan to have so many Kroger and Publix stores in close proximity. Hopefully when they get finished remodeling the Newnan Kroger they will have some good promotions….fingers crossed!

      • Allie

I am Newnan gal too! The Kroger off Lower Fayetteville is my home away from home, as well as the Publix.  :-)

        • April

I go to the one off Lower Fayetteville, too.  It’s my favorite.  That’s the one I got the catalina from.  I’ve been getting more deals from Publix lately, but the cashiers at the Lower Fayeteville Kroger have always been great with me and my coupons!

          • Anna

Yes They never have a problem with my coupons! Lower Fayetteville is the best! Nice and clean and easy to find things you need!

    • ak

when I click on the links for the Dawn coupons that say they are 50 cents, i keep getitng only 25 cent ones, which wiould make the final price .50, not free.. please help…!

      • Barbe

Sounds like the 50 cent ones are probably gone. The ECoupons don’t double, by the way. If you can get your hands on some that are already printed that would probably be your best bet.

    • Teresab270

Last week at my local Kroger they had Yuban coffee in the 10-12oz cans for 2.00 and before I could reach up and grab a can a senior citizen took the entire box of 24 placed it in her shopping cart looked at me and said what a deal. Well no kidding… but hey I would have done the same thing. I did find 2 Maybelline mascare and 2 nail files for a dollar and with my coupons it was free. Note to self never shop at Kroger on Wednesday its Senior Citizens Day

    • EricsWifeOwensMom

When I visited my local Kroger tonight, there were “Carbuster” tags on certain items. What does that mean?

      •  Cartbuster really means nothing. It’s not a special event just a marketing gimmick to make you feel like it’s an awesome sale (something Kroger is excellent at).  Some of the items may be good prices, but most aren’t.

    • trc

Dawn in Louisville is $1.39 instead of $1.00.

      • MommaJen

Dawn in Hendersonville, TN is $1.39 too.

    • Mslonas

Is Angel soft still 10 for $10??? does anyone know??

      • guest

at my store they are $1.25

    • Renda Phillips

I live in South Atlanta. Quickly ran in and out of Kroger last night for four items. My Kroger’s ad didn’t have the Tyson BOGO nor was it in the store. Anyone else?

      • Andersoncouponmommy

My kroger (louisville region) didn’t have any bogo deals and dawn was 1.39

        • Andersoncouponmommy

And my cashier grunted, huffed and puffed with all 7 of my coupons. When i tried to be nice and not ruin his night by saying”thank you for your help, have a nice night,” instead of all the not so nice comments running through my head. He walked right passed me without saying a word…. publix is 30 min away but it’s friendly cashiers is looking more and more worth the extra gas.

      • Nymomnfla

My Kroger in Houston did not have the Tyson BOGO and several of the other BOGO.  When I questioned management it was like I asked the wrong question and I was an attitude stating that it is on sale and isn’t that enough.  When I explained that I was looking for the sale items BOGO the manager stated “us couponers are looking to get everything for free”.  I just walked away with a smile and stated to him that I hope he does not treat all his customers the way he treated me.  Kroger is right down the street from me but, I hope to do as little shopping there as possible.  I wish I had a publix here!

    • Butterfinger_5568

I have been couponing for many years.I have really noticed this past year,How the store sales have went way down and the coupons have also went down..ALot of the coupons are less value and limits on number of coupons u can use in visit and not able to use on trial sizes. It seems like when couponing went nuts a little while back, this started happening..

      • Niddi

noticing that also, frustrating! I just want to save my family money, not go extreme. I think we can thank “that show” for the changes we are seeing. There are still good deals to be had just not as good as 2 or 3 years ago, so I’m not giving up couponing but I don’t think it will ever go back to the way it was.

      • Avatar

This is especially true at Krogers.  Im almost done phasing them out.  Publix (for stockpiling) and the International Farmers Market, in additional to growing my own food is my focus.

    • SimbaCholeMax’s mom

I tend to stick with Publix only. However, this week there are a few things that I will pick up at Kroger. Here in North Fulton Atlanta GA the Kroger workers seem to always have an attitude and huff and puff the entire time I check out. Even mangt. has this problem If I know I am right and I am trying to tell them I feel like I am on trial and they will decide my fate. I just don’t like it and it’s sad.

      • I gave Kroger many chances, and got the same attitude and lack of … a smile! When they see my coupons, even if I have one, they sigh loudly. I drive right past Kroger to get to Publix whenever I need anything – I’ll pay more gas and even the higher price for milk and such just to have a pleasant shopping experience!

Pampers box diapers are actually part of the Cart Buster this week and are either $22.99 or $21.99 (I don’t remember which) and the wipes are on sale for $1.99, with the 50 cent coupon out that makes the wipes only 99 cents after it doubles! With the $2/Pampers that P&G sent out and the $3/Pampers Kroger sent it’s time to stock up on diapers again. <3

    • Spowers_8501

Just curious.  Where is the three day sale post with coupon match-ups?

    • couponsaver

The Horizon Milk sale is ony for an 8 oz carton, and the coupon is for $1 off 3.
