It was on the news last night in Knoxville that Kroger’s new coupon policy was you could only use 5 mfg. coupons on five of the same items, also, two internet coupons for the same product per day. While all Mfg. coupons still double up to .50 it no longer applies to free/Kroger coupons.

      • Bee

I truly cannot remember the last time I used more than four of the same coupon in one trip. And I feel weird doing that.

I have 2 printers, but I only ever use one to print Internet coupons so I am restricted to 2 prints.

I still save lots of money.

It really sounds like a fair policy.

        • Bryarsmom

Pardon me, but if I go to the trouble of purchasing and clipping multiple Q;s I should be able to use them. I don’t even shop Kroger here in the Atl burbs unless the items are free or almost so. Then I’ll get a good 10-15 of the items.
When the Ivory bwash was $1. I got a dozen, same with several other items. If I have to break up my trans into several-no prob. I can still get in and out of there quickly to make it worth my time.
PUBLIX is KING in our area. No other chain comes close.

          • Hcb2

I agree with Bee on this. Who honestly needs 12 bodywash? It is because of people who decide to buy too much that they have to implement limits.

            • Bee

It’s not up to me to determine how many of something someone NEEDS. But suffice it to say that Kroger is not mourning the loss of people who cherry pick the store for the deals. Seems to me that the folks who are using multiple coupons (for the most part) are not buying a lot of other stuff in the store. I’m sure Kroger has seen that pattern, as well.

As much as we would all love to get free deals and lots of ’em, these stores are not running charities. They almost have to put a limit on the free stuff so that they can expend more time/energy on promoting items that turn a decent profit.

If someone goes in and gets a dozen body wash for $1.00, using a .50 coupon that doubles to make it free, Kroger has automatically sunk $6.00 into a transaction that is not making them ANY other money. I think their intent with doubling coupons was an incentive for people to shop there for other items.

I don’t shop Kroger exclusively, but they have a lot of the stores beat down on prices around here. Wal-Mart is just across the street and they are higher than even Kroger SALE prices.

Plus, I know all the people in the meat dept at Kroger. They will point me in the right direction on deals and if a great deal is temporarily out, they will substitute a like or better item.

I know the economy is bad, but even at an unemployment rate of roughly 10 percent, the stores still have room to groom their relationship with folks who still have steady income. Most of the people shopping my Kroger are using no coupons or just a handful.

            • Bee

oops–I meant to say Wal-Mart is higher than Kroger non-SALE prices.

            • Chris

See I would have to say Publix’s deals beat Kroger around here hands down.  I go in Kroger just for something specific and then jet – I certainly don’t hang around for any regular shopping because their prices are higher, their stores aren’t as nice and clean, and their ppl are horrible (and I’m speaking about the two stores closest to me in Smyrna, GA).  I wish they would get the hint in certain areas and see why some people aren’t staying to shop more – it would offer alternatives and true competition.  But it seems to me with the track Kroger is on here they won’t be here in a few years – Publix and Walmart will have put them out of business in this area.

            • brandi

walmart sells you food item very close to there expiration dates trying to make money. so check expiration dates at the store. I hate walmart, they usually are higher than kroger non sale items in louisville, ky and their products are stale.

            • Averyandkaren

If the shelves are cleared I just get a raincheck. It’s a slight inconvenience but the way I look at it is if someone else beat me to the deals good for them. The only issue I have with “shelf clearers” is when its a mega event at kroger. For example, recently Kroger had the P&G mega event. A febreeze plug in air freshner was a $ maker. I want to say you made something like $2 for everyone you bought. So of course they were all gone. & usually I would get a raincheck, but since it was a mega event you had to buy so many items to get the deal. Well I wanted to get 3 of the plug ins. So I had two problems, since they were gone that messed up my count on buying the correct amount of items. & the other was since I only wanted 3 and the mega event was for I believe 5 I wasn’t sure if they would give me the mega event deal the next week when I only was purchasing 3 items. I don’t know what the policy is on that. The cashier allowed me to do it but I’m not sure if she was technically supposed to.

            • Patricia

That is the reason I don’t even bother with the Mega sales. They are always out of at least 2 or 3 of the items and then the item count is messed up. I got tired of spending time to tweek the list and count only to be back to square one when I get to the store.

            • Mrscori2006

Three words: WALMART PRICE MATCH. Don’t waste time manipulating the maze that is Kroger mega events. Wal mart will price match the Mega price without you having to buy 5, or 10, or however many Kroger decides you should buy. They are always in stock and give overage.

            • Averyandkaren

I am fairly new to couponing so I still have a lot to learn. I wasn’t aware of walmart doing that. So how would you go about having them price match? Take the kroger ad in and the cashier will adjust it at the register?

            • Laura

Yes, the past few years you had to take ads to cust service for price match, but now they do it at the check out. Lately they have been running a ton of tv commercials to make more people aware. At Target you still have to take your ads to cust service.

I did not take an ad to walmart last time, the cashier asked for one but when I said I didn’t have it she whipped out a folder beside her register that had all the local stores ads so I just had to tell her what ad what page. They also match store brands, I wasn’t sure they would but Ingles had a bread/buns sale like 65 cents July 4th and I asked if I’d get walmart bread/buns for that & they said no problem even though their price was $1.20.

            • Alicia

Why do we really need to judge?  I have a child that will be attending college next year and for this reason, I will by 30 of one item if I have the q’s for it.  And hopefully no one would blame me.  I will have him a supply that should last a year or better of the products he will use every day. My thinking on this is “smart”.  I hate the way people jump on others when they post a great deal they have found.  GET A RAINCHECK!

            • Bee

Alicia, I surely wouldn’t blame you for attempting to get 30. It is smart, but unfortunately if the store is losing money on these “deals”, they will pull back, either by ending doubling, placing limits, etc. I know I would rather get 5 coupons doubled than none, ever again.

And then again, there are folks who truly are challenged by returning to the store again and again…such as those with very small children, the elderly, those with limited funds for gas or bus fare, etc.

I love deals but I don’t like the idea of me getting deals at the expense of those less fortunate than I am.

            • Tab

I agree with Bee, for me it’s not just a “small” inconvenience to get a raincheck. It is impossible for me to keep going back to the store. I get one shot a week, if that and sometimes it’s at 2 am because we are down to only one car. Once this baby comes, it will be even harder.

Also, as someone who had to work their way through college, live on a budget that I made myself…you are doing a disservice to your soon by stocking him up for a year. Instead of clearing shelves, teach him how to budget and coupon for himself. If you do it for him now, he’ll never learn. That’s just my humble opinion, but honestly, I’ve met a lot of young adults recently who are very ill equipped to handle their business because of their parents. Teach him, he can get great deals and you can be assured he’s taken care of. Plus, there’s nothing wrong with sending an occasional care package ;)

Sorry, don’t mean that to sound completely rude.

            • Michelle

Well, you do sound COMPLETELY rude.  It’s truly NONE of your business what another mother does for her child.  I don’t think you would appreciate someone attacking your mothering skills as you did to this woman.  If you have to ask if you’re being rude…you’re being rude.

          • Dsquared9895

We don’t have a Publix in the Knoxville area… We are getting soon though

          • couponlady

I wish we had Publix here in VA. Kroger is against anyone using coupons. FoodLion don’t double coupons.

            • CCarroll21

some food lions actually do double…up to .60! I ended up with 10 Pepsi Max from there last week and only paid $1 for all of them!

            • Anonymous

Where do you live in VA? I’m in Lynchburg and the one on Boonsboro Road is THE WORST.

        • Anonymous

Same here. Most of the time I only use 1-2 of the same coupon. Maybe 3 on rare occasions. I think it’s a fair policy, too. Hopefully it will help keep the shelves from being cleared.

        • Manyi

It is just so hard for me to watch all these coupon policy changes.  I have 6 children and we live on a single income.  When we shop many times we need to buy more than four or five like items… especially if they are on sale…just to get through a few weeks. Not to mention a trip to the store is not cheap or convenient. You would think they would consider the times before they make it even harder for us to get by.

          • gdry8

I am in the exact same boat,6 kids and a single family income, thank goodness I have 2 Krogers in town.  They only allow 3 coupons on the same items so I shop at one and on the way home I stop at the second one.  It may take a few more minutes but I save money.  I try and shop at Publix when I can though, they have been wonderful and I have never had a coupon problem there.

      • I don’t mind that at all… i typically only get 2 of a sale item – maybe 4 if its something i really use a lot of.  At least maybe with this rule in effect there might be some items left for the rest of the town.  I had to stop going to Kroger because I was tired of them being out of all the sale items.

    • S Aston

Cars 2 toys were reduced to $4.50 in my South-East Kroger today.  I used the $5 Fisher Price coupon.  This will be a great toy to donate.

      • Mo

What coupon are you referring to?

        • Laura

Just saw it on coupons. com $5 off a cars 2 mattel or fisher price $20 purchase

      • Eseddy

So does this mean that if I buy 5 toys and use 4 coupons that I would pay 2.50? Or will it only allow one coupon bc of the minimum purchase?

        • my neighbor’s mother-in-law makes $67/hour on the laptop. She has been unemployed for 9 months but last month her income was $8721 just working on the laptop for a few hours. Read about it on this web site http://ufil.ms/jfiHL

    • d’ville

kroger did not allow the blush cover girl 8/2. will not allow anything that makes the customer money. Had to buy at ingles, and they changed the coup. to 3.98. just a heads up.

      • stace

same thing happened to me today. i was able to use it wednesday at kroger’s though with a different cashier. but i talked to the manager today and they’re technically not suppose to take any coupons if it exceeds the price of the item.

        • Caseyr1417

i don’t see why they wouldn’t, they send in the coupon and get the full face value of the coupon anyway. plus it helps their monthly quota on how much money their store made, which results in larger bonus’ at the end of the year. the manager must not like money or something

        • misscoupon

Here in VA, at Kroger the register beeped when she scanned the CG coupon.  Said I couldn’t use it, because it had to be two  products that was more than $8 each.

      • Bee

How interesting that Ingle’s is going to submit the coupon to receive the full face value but they would only give you credit for 3.98×2.

        • Patricia

Isn’t that fraudulent on the part of the store?

          • Laura

I don’t think so, coupons only say ‘we will reimburse face value + a handling fee’. They don’t say anywhere if you charge less you have to let us know so we can pay you less. Seems like only walmart & publix let the customer have the full value of the coupon when there’s overage.

        • :D

Actually they have to send a report WITH all of the coupons to a coupon redemption center that works for the Manufacturers to keep the stores honest.  The store will get only what they gave you.

      • coupons4kids

My Kroger will give cash back….its crazy how they can vary so much!

      • tgirl

they tried that with me, and i told them the coupoon didn’t disallow that and they sold it to me.

      • Marcnmoni

They accept one of my coupons and because it would have given me overage the computer wouldn’t accept the other 2 I had but I went to customer service and they gave me my $16 back without a problem

    • stace

I saw crest complete 4oz for $2.49 at the kroger’s in tx. With the $2/1 coupon from a few weeks ago makes it $.49. Not bad.

    • Chris

They also have Carmex on sale 10 for 10 – with the Q avail (I know there is a $0.30/1 Q but I also think there is a $0.40/1 somewhere) that makes it $0.20-0.40/ea.

      • Christina

        Where is the carmex coupon?

        • Chris

I think it’s a FB Q – if you look it up in the database (upper right) it will tell you for sure.  HTH

      • Anonymous

I just rummaged through the closet and found about 12 tubes of lip balm — no joke — even after giving away about 10 tubes recently. I may have a problem lol!

        • Chris

LOL!  I was thinking the same thing after I bought all of my Nivea sticks that were on sale.  I go through lip balm like crazy in the winter (both for dry lips and cold sores – hence me getting excited about Carmex being on sale with a Q available) and with the Nivea having expiration dates out into 2013 I don’t feel so bad buying 22 of them.

          • Anonymous

Chris, I would love to see a man pull a big tube of Nivea out of his pocket and put it on.  “A Kiss of Smoothness”…you have me laughing.  My husband refuses to use my Nivea.

            • Chris

And that’s what I bought!  LOL  I also bought the Touch of Honey.  Who cares what it looks like – if it works, it works!  Too many men are too worried about what something looks like if they do it.  You’d probably be surprised to know that I also have Biore stuff, Olay, and on and on in my bathroom and stockpile – I use what works so I can look my best (the ladies have it right – why do you think they started making all of these “Men’s” products.  The product is the same as the stuff for women just in a different package).  LMAO

            • Anonymous

BTW, did you do the Men’s Vaseline lotion deal at Target?  It is actually a “man” product, so I bought it for my husband.  I know you do Target also.  I was so excited about that deal…8 bottles of lotion for less than $5.

            • Chris

No I have tons of lotion in my stockpile so didn’t bother with it (I don’t go through it as fast as other stuff like lip balm and toothpaste).  I am doing the Neutrogena bar soap deal though – can’t beat free and it’s good soap for the face.  Happy Couponing!

        • Laura

Several months ago publix put chapsticks on dollar sale, and when I got to the store there were $1/1 peelies on them. I knew I already had several nivea, blistex & carmex at home…but I sure couldn’t resist free!
I didn’t clear the shelf though, only got 7. Planned to get more my next trip IF the peelies were still there…but they weren’t. I do Christmas stockings for 25 people, so the various brands will end up in everyones stocking.

          • Chris

Kroger had some of the same peelies on the Green Apple Chapstick – $0.50/1 which doubled and made them free.  I’m not at all a fan of Chapstick but couldn’t resist free so grabbed the only two they had with peelies on them.

The COke coupon doesn’t seem to be on recyclebank anymore.  Am I missing something?

      • Guest

I have never seen it there and I have been looking for months.  I wish that Jenny would add the “no longer available” disclaimer.

        • Anonymous

I rec’d one last month by mail. So it has been there, but more times than not when I check, it isn’t there. Idk. I know you can only request one per month. Maybe they limit the number going out each month?

        • Stacey37055

I have recieved the coke coupon several times. I have noticed that you must have enough points for it to even be an option…hope this helps

    • Khjbcoupons

well darn.. krogers is advertising cigarettes AGAIN… they are skirting the law because its legal to advertise if  only13% of the readership  is less that 14 years old.  ok i get it..but my mother is in that generation that is boosting the business of oxygen suppliers, pulmonologist and pharmaceutical companies who supply meds for breathing treatments…ALL BECAUSE THEY CONSUMED THE PRODUCT THAT WAS SOOOO WELL ADVERTISED AND PROMOTED AS A SOCIALLY CORRECT THING TO DO. why would krogers promote something that is soooooo harmful.. 40 years ago no one knew what kinds of probs cigs would cause .. there is no question now as to the damage that cigs cause… as i did several months ago.. i will not shop at krogers on the weeks that they advertise cigs… and btw krogers web suffers… i started shopping at pulblix a few months ago because of your last campaign for advertising cigs…AND I have grown the really enjoy shoppng there.. looks like publix will get my business again this week..

    • Toy1215

I can’t locate the coke coupon either.

    • Aidenlee

I don’t even shop in my kroger because the items I want ae cle&red out and I get better deals else where.the only tme I go into my kroger is if I canget something for less then a dollar. I just dont seem to save much in my local store.

    • Salovescb

Nivea lip balm was not on sale in Alpharetta, GA. It was $2.99; I was disappointed!

      • Chris

The sale ended yesterday I believe.

      • Concreteangel

It was on sale in Dallas, GA for $2.

    • Marcnmoni

Riverdale, Ga kroger has their airwick compact starter kits on sale for $5.49…. Pair that with the $4 off 9/11 SS coupon you only pay $1.49 which is a STEAL!!

    • Jpmfly

Worst shopping experience at Athens, Ga. eastside Kroger. The Tide powder was not on sale (only the liquid);  cashier would not accept my Covergirl 8.00/2 item coupons;  sale prices were not displayed on many items (especially produce) and the red bells did not ring up 10/10 – line was held up while the price was checked.  And this trip was before Sunday School about 9AM.

      • Mrscori2006

Sorry to hear that. Wonder why she wouldn’t take the covergirl Q’s? Were you buying face products?

    • Lcook53009

We don’t have very many options here in Lexington, KY.  It’s either Kroger, Meijer (which I haven’t tried and I’ve heard doesn’t have terrific deals) or Wal-Mart.  Wal-Mart will argue with you until they are blue in the face and won’t let you price match + use a coupon.  Here, the best place to coupon for groceries is Kroger, and while we don’t save as much as those with a Publix, we do okay.

      • I shop at Meijer all the time and save more money then Kroger. Look for a week that is 10 for $10 get the 11th FREE and you’ll really score alot of deals.  What I like about Meijer is that they include alot of produce items in their promotions.  I hope that helps.  :)

        • Srhmccleese

This is very true about Meijer, I almost always get better deals at Meijer than Kroger.

          • Lcook53009

I guess it’s time to start looking for Meijer match-ups and learn the coupon policy.

            • gwalls

they also have mperks (digital) coupons that go on your phone that can be combined with manu. coupons, also on their website they have store coupons that will also combine with manu. coupons.  I get quite a few good deals there.  Got Campbell’s cooking soups there last week for .35 each!

            • dont call miejer they told me  they dont double q’s and  right on the paper it says they do lol  you can get the policy off the net or at couponmom i dont think jenny has a policy page here!!!!!!!!!!! good luck  its well worth it i spent 66 bucks last week but i saved 106.26

          • Donna091960

Live in Ashland, KY and I wish we had a Meijer.  3 Krogers to choose from and 3 Foodfair’s.

            • Breese

Sweet!  I have family in Ashland, KY.  I know that is random, but you never hear of that small town.

      • Elissa

I used to shop at Meijer when I lived in Louisville KY, and I loved it!  Some of their items are cheaper than WalMart, and they have the best produce I’ve ever found.  They also have a good children’s clothing dept.  You can’t buy all your groceries there b/c some things are more expensive.  Also, I didn’t coupon back then, so I don’t know their coupon policy.  Your purchases can add up to discounts on Meijer gas, too.  I’ve gotten gas at the Meijer at Hamburg & it’s always competitively priced.  It’s worth a try.

      • hey i live in  berea i do most of my shopping at kroger and meijer  they both double and i get free stuff or really cheap stuff all the time its easy  i work4 days a week on third shift and i still can put it together and shop i swear you can do it

    • Here is a weird deal I found at kroger this evening. Swiffer duster starter kit on sale for 3.99. Used the Free swiffer refill when you buy any starter kit PG 10/2. I got the refill pads for the swiffer mop that are 5.99 a box. Becuase the Q states any refill. I also used a .50 coupon on any swiffer prodcut from the walmart coupon ad from a few weeks ago. Got the swiffer duster for 2.99 and a free box of mop pads. That is a great deal. I did this deal twice!

I live in Calhoun, GA and not sure which section is the one I should use…Mid-Atlantic or Southeast, etc.  Can anyone help me?

      • Dyerfamily1

Southeast I believe. I’m also in Georgia and our sales are pretty much state wide. Hope that helps!

Definitely Southeast.  Calhoun and Dalton are both SE.

When I went to Muir Glen site, no option for coupon although I joined the club.  Anyone get a coupon for the Muir Glen tomatoes?

      • LLevineshop

I can’t seem to get the coupon either and my login no longer works!

      • Teresa

Same problem for me.  I gave up trying a few months ago.

    • Tduncan6

I have a sister in law that lives in Va. and heard on news that Kroger will no longer will doubling .

      • Mel

Noooooooooo!!!  Say it isn’t so!  Kroger is my only REAL grocery store.  The only other options I have are Food Lion and Walmart.

    • Aaronh

I tried to use my Covergirl coupons at the Dollar Store and I was cursed and told that I was commiting coupon fraud.

      • Anonymous

        What was their problem?

Campbells cream of chicken and cream of mushroom soups were $10/10 at my Rome, GA Kroger today.

      • marie115

It was the same for my Kroger in Lynchburg, VA.  Plus I had $1 off 5 Great for cooking soups so I was able to use 2 of them and they rang up .80 a piece

    • Lauryn

Is the Kroger Ad this week the same as last week’s, or am I losing my mind?

      • Fgavent

2nd week of cart buster sale.  It is awful! Praying other grocery stores will be better this week!

      • Troop949

Kroger sales (at least their Mega Events & Cart Buster Events) always last 2 weeks.  They sometimes add a few new items for the 2nd week, though.

        • Laura

It’s not added items, it’s just that they don’t fit them all in the paper on week one. My store always has a one sheet flyer on the first day of all mega & cart buster sales listing ALL included items for the 2 week period.

It’s always in a little basket attached to a stand up display in my store. One by the front door and one in the rear of the store. Usually only half of the items from the flyer were in the regular sale paper. I don’t know why they do it that way, but they always have. You can find the flyer or see from shelf tags on each aisle what deals weren’t in the paper.

I don’t know if anyone else has had this happen, but tonight my boyfriend and I were shopping at Kroger, and I had the 1.25 off Digiorno pizza & wings, breadsticks, or cookies coupon. We ended up getting two of them since I had to coupons, and when we got the register and checked out when I got my receipt the cashier also gave me a catalina that had printed out for a dollar off my next purchase, from Digiorno! I’m not sure if it printed because I bought two, or if it would print with only one pizza though. Also all together we spent $45.29 and saved $19.15 (30%). I was pretty excited, especially since I just kinda threw a list together because we have company coming tomorrow afternoon. :)

      • Kate

and I just seen my typo.. should’ve been *since i had two coupons instead of “to coupons…”‘ haha sorry! It’s 1:30 am here and way past my bed time!

Found a good deal on Schick Quattro razors for women. B1G1 for $6.28. Used a Schick coupon that I had for $6.00 on two. Paid $0.14 each. Got 2 more and used a $5 coupon on 1 and a $2 coupon on 1- actually made $0.72 on both.

      • Saracallicoatsmith

I did this last night as well and was excited.  I don’t think anybody knows about this one b/c my Kroger had tons of Schick razors.  Anybody who wants this deal-they were printable Schick coupons–I hope you can still find them!

        • Xlustlovex

if you go to the schick xtreame 3 on fb and like them you get a 3 dollar off coupon

    • Dana

The Kroger here in VA had Pampers wipes even cheaper for 1.99 with the .50 Q this would make them .99.  Unfortunately, they were already sold out when I got there, but I got a raincheck.  They wouldn’t let me use the CG coupon either.

has anybody tried using the coupon for the mahatma rice?  i was wondering since it says “do not double” on it, if it doubled anyway, like it is listed here?
if anyone knows, please let me know.

      • jhoran

Its not the manufacturer that doubles the coupon, its kroger that doubles it.

@80e4442e3c7ab72894c01f94a4310ea2:disqus  Is Mahatma on sale this week?  I swear I can’t find it on the list, which category is it under? I’ve got some coupons I’d like to use.

        • Melissa

I don’t think it’s on sale but the reg price is only 1.09 so it makes it .09 when the .50 coupon is doubled.

          • Anonymous

Thanks! Got it yesterday! :)  My store had it for $1.16, but for 64 cents + tax, I got 4 lbs so I was thrilled.

@80e4442e3c7ab72894c01f94a4310ea2:disqus  Disregard my question, I found it under unadvertised deals.  Thanks for bringing to my attention.

Has anybody been doing the DEAL OF THE DAY?  Is this like that last one several months ago when it can post at any time of the day?  I haven’t tried for anything and just wondered.   Thanks!

      • Anonymous

I have been getting the coupons every day and have used several of them.  The coupon for the day posts early and is available all day, as far as I can tell.  They have worked with paper coupons as well, at least for the ones for a dollar amount off your total order.  And while you can only get them the day they post, they don’t expire until Nov. 20.

Thanks, got my Charmin coupon this morning!

      • Laura

It’s not a certain time any more, guess they learned their lesson from that last time from all the folks crashing the site at once.

I have gotten it every day whenever I think of it, anywhere from 11 am to 6 pm and it’s never yet said it ran out. This time they added a slider on the page showing what the item of day will be every day of the promo.

Yesterday was a free tostito jar of dip wyb tostitos. Tostitos are on sale for 2.50 & I’m going to try to pair that with the newspaper Q for free pepsi wyb tosititos and dip.

Thanks, I just got the $2/12 roll Charmin!  Hope it’s on sale.

          • amanda

is that charmin a good deal?

            • Anonymous

@eb9b226aff5105713c071d25bd27d49f:disqus I just realized it’s on sale this week for $6.99 for 12 double rolls, so the $2 off makes it $4.99 which is a great price as far as I’m concerned.  I’ve tried many brands with coupons but Charmin has become my favorite brand, even over Cottonelle!

            • Jennifer

If you load the $1.00 off Charmin coupon under all coupons it will take off the $2.00 deal of the day coupon AND the $1.00 mf coupon.  It does the same on the Bounty… if you got the $2.00 deal of te day and the $1.00 mf coupon loaded to your savings card it will take both off.  Also the $2.00 off Crest deal of the day and there is a $2.00 off mf coupon you can load as well.  I’ve noticed that they say $2.00 off your “total purchase” on all 3 of those deal of the day coupons!  Just a little FYI if you didn’t already know!

            • Anonymous

@622c53a5f487c0ccd4cc44d10fa40cdf:disqus  I did notice it said off total purchase, but then it said cannot be combined etc, so I figured it was a one-shot deal.
So that makes it $3.99 – for me that would be my cheapest Charmin ever!!!!  I’ve gotten other brands for that or less, but not Charmin. WOW!Thanks!

            • Anonymous

@eb9b226aff5105713c071d25bd27d49f:disqus Just so you know, Jenny’s “buy price” on TP is free-$3.50 for 9-12 rolls.  I’ve never come close to free!  It seems like most people that consistently get good TP deals shop at drug stores with RRs or UPs in addition to coupons to get their cost down.

      • Staci_marie

I tried one day, and went to the store that night.  It was buy 5 2L pepsi, get a 12 pack of throw back free.  Met the requirements and the ‘free’ didn’t happen.  Haven’t bothered since.

@56830b88d539a255c726b11a65554dd7:disqus  If you still have your receipt, call 1-888-553-3003, that’s the e-coupon customer service desk.  They’ve always been great to me, give it a try.

When I went to the Madison, AL Kroger to get the Stacy’s Pita Chips, there was a stack of tearoff coupons for $1/2 bags. That brought the price to $1.50/bag. Great price!

    • Guest

Can anyone tell me what region I am in northern Arkansas?  My ad’s prices don’t seem to match any of the regions listed here (mine are always higher….)  Thanks!

      • Anonymous

If you go to Kroger’s web site and pull up you local ad, as it is bringing up your ad or when you hit next to go to the next page of your add look at the top or bottom of your web page. It will have the district included in the page address. When I hold my pointer over the next button it has http://krogerlouisville.mywebgrocer when I check mine. Yours should tell you what district your ad is in.

So mad!! Kroger would not take my Covergirl coupons. They said that they exceeded the amountbof the product. Did anyone else have this problem?

      • Byrdsminidachshunds

go to walmart they are money makers there

        • Rozier1998

I didn’t think about walmart!!!! Thanks. I think what is happening is that a bunch of people are trying to abuse coupons…it makes it hard on us that use them correctly!!!!

      • amanda

yes it happened to me to are you talking about the 8$ off coupon?.. it happends to me all the time but they just roll over the amount onto whatever else im buying but they didnt do that last time i was so mad.

    • 4theboxers

Hey the Kroger on Macland in Powder Springs has tear pads for Red Baron Pizzas-$2/2 and they are on sale for 3/$10.00 which is cheaper than Walmart and Publix

Has anybody already redeemed today’s Deal of the Day of $2 off Charmin Ultra Soft and Strong (red label pictured on my e-coupon list)?

If so, did you buy the blue label Charmin or red label?  I prefer the blue if it will let me use it.  Thanks!

      • blessedsmth

I got the blue (12 pack for 6.99) yesterday and the $1.00 carbuster and $2.00 total purchase came off.

        • Anonymous

Awesome, gonna try it today!  Thanks

    • Emay0508

was wondering does im seeing alot of good deals here but some coupons here are expired?

    • CSat

I didn’t realize the Nivea lip balm coupon exp 10/16 I was going to use those as stocking stuffers :-(

      • Khkennedy

I have had Kroger and Walmart to take coupons that have expired by a few days. They don’t really even look at the dates, they just scan it through.

        • Lea

That’s not exactly fair. If you ask permission beforehand, it gives them the decision on whether or not to accept. If you don’t ask and it doesn’t beep, well then the store lost money if it expired before the last coupon submission date.

    • Jen

just found out that my Kroger just changed their coupon policy, only accepting 5 like coupons per transaction……..ggrrrrrrrrr!

      • Scott wilson

        where are you?

        • Jen

          Lanett, AL

      • Workingmomcoupons

Same here, Calhoun GA. Checking the other local stores today to see if it is regional, as the policy states the store reserves the right to limit to 5. Stinks, but at least they still double.

    • Newlieandchristy

Anyone know how to figure out which region I am in? I went to the Kroger in Starkville, MS for my first couponing adventure. I assumed I was in the Southeast region. When the prices and products weren’t matching up, I asked an employee and she told me they were considered the Delta region. I don’t see that region as an option listed on this site. Should I look for another couponing site or would Delta be listed under something else? Help, please!
      Christy

      • Anonymous

The same products should be on sale (other than meat and produce, generally), the prices might just be a little different, but all the coupon match ups should still work. Your ad might also start on a different day, so that would definitely be something to be aware of.

      • Jhdon

Hi! I am in Jackson, MS, and my Kroger sale ad starts the Wed after Jenny’s Sun thru Sat sale date.  My sale ad starts on Wed and runs through Tues.  So, it gives me four days to get a sneak peek at what is coming up on sale.  Also, for dairy and meats I have to wait for the sale ad to publish as they vary from what is listed on this site since we are in the Delta region.

Just got back from my Krogers in DFW. I found the schick disposable razors for b1g1 for $6.33. Still have 2 $6 off 2 packs of disp. schick razors printables…But my cashier told me they were no longer accepting internet coupons! They quit doubling in this region a couple months back and now no internet coups! I’m going to have to take my business elsewhere.

Then the bag girl spoke up and said ‘one lady came in yesterday with a whole lot of internet coupons and ruined it for everybody’ If they were valid then what do they care how many she has as long as she is using them per policy!? And if she wasn’t, then educate the employees on the coupon policy so that fraudulent coupon users can’t get away with using fakes, or excessive numbers of coupons of the same item. If Krogers can still get reimbursed then why do they care? And whey do they treat coupon users like we are criminals or trying to get something for nothing? These companies want me to try their products that’s why they distribute these coupons Kroger still gets paid! And it definitely isnt coming out of the cashiers pocket so why the attitude?

Please forgive me, after I walked out of the store I dropped my bottle of wine…maybe that’s what driving this rant!
