On the Schick Extreme 3 Disposable razors that are B1G1.  I have a coupon $6 off any 2 Schick Disposable.  Can I use that as long as I’m buying 2?

I should know this, but am having a brain lapse today.  Thanks!

      • Littlemcknz

Yes you can My kroger already had these on sale and I used mine w/o any problems.

        • Anonymous

Great.  Do you have any idea how much they were b4 coupons?

          • Anne

I bought mine, I got two for $6..33.  Minus the $6.00 coupon, I paid .33 plus tax.

            • Anonymous

Guess I better plan to be there early tomorrow.  Thanks!!

      • Gillyp3864

Yes, but you can do better at WM with these.
You’ll get overage on 2 pkgs @ $1.97 each. Use the two bucks towards produce.

        • Anonymous

Good luck at finding them at Wal-Mart.  I checked four stores and only one store carried the 10 count + 2 free.   I was able to get more coupons and now that store is out.

        • Anonymous

Thanks! Doesn’t look like I’ll make it to Kroger early, so can try WM if Kroger is out.

    • Anonymous

The .50/2 Kroger shredded or bar cheese (Kroger coupon) I have is only good on 8 oz sizes.

      • Aramwatts

Yes I got mine this morning.  You have to make the plate first and then a pop up will come up with coupon and 2 other options.  Then it will take you to print it out.  I used mine this morning and got some rice and veggies for $.50 a bag and if you hit the back button it will print 2.

        :)

Is the $1/2 Birds Eye reg or Steamfresh frozen product (Facebook) still available? I can’t find it.

      • Anonymous

Got it! I didn’t realize you have to make a plate and submit, then the coupon button shows up, and these coupons are good til 12/3! Thanks!

    • Tldg

My Kroger would not let me use a manufactor’s coupon when I used an coupon this morning. Is this common?

    • Tldg

My Kroger would not let me use an e-coupon and a manufacturer’s coupon. Is this common?

      • pcarmi

        Yep, you cannot use both.

      • Jack

Yes, Kroger’s policy sais that you can’t combine ecoupons with manufacturer coupons. You can combine manufacturer coupons with store coupons though.

      • Marki86

My store has just started this policy.  I often forget what coupons are on my card.  Now I usually do not put any on there because i save more by doubling my paper coupons.  How is everyone else doing this?

    • Vee

Does anyone know how many “like” internet coupons Kroger will take.  I’m in Virginia.  Thanks!

      • Laura Brown

I was told last week that store policy here in SC was only 2 printed coupons per like item per customer per day.  Hope that helps!

        • Anonymous

I only have one store near me in SC that limits to 2 internet coupons per shopping order.  Check the other Kroger’s in your area also to see if they limit coupons.

      • Jcwiakala_44

I’m in VA and I haven’t been limited with “like” coupons yet.

      • Kelbob6

I’m in Midlothian, and they limit me to 2 “like” coupons.

      • Anonymous

Your best bet is to call the store you will be using and KNOW that stores policy, or if you have 3 stores like I do, find the store that is the coupon friendliest.  I travel 5 min further to the best store.  There is one store that, I swear, must hate couponers.  And the other is a friendly store, but too small to carry everything at one time.

        • Beepampered

My Kroger says no more than 2 from each manufacturer. So, when the mega deals are happening and I want to get a bunch of General Mills cereal, I can only use two coupons even though they are different products. Of course, if I went in the evening when all the high schoolers are working, that rule would probably be overlooked.

          • Phonicblue

            That’s what I do.

      • Amyleigh540

Kroger in harrisonurg va. Limits 2 like internet coups per person per day.

    • AmyLeigh540

Nivea Lip coupons expired 10/16…..atleast mine did

Cream Cheese is $1 in my ad, pretty good price if you need it, I will be stocking up since this is a staple in my house. It is up to $1.59 regular price at my store now, all the diary stuff has gone up a lot over the past few weeks in my area.

      • Dsquared9895

        what brand?

        • Anonymous

Store brand is $1, regular price was up to $1.79 today, crazy.

SE ad show 4x fuel points from Oct 23-Nov 5 wyb participating giftcards. Shell cards worked on this last time. And, apparantley you lucky people near a Kroger Fuel center can now choose how much you want to save on gas, use all the fuel points at once or spread them out!

      • pdsmama

I am one of the lucky people with the fuel center, and Sam’s and Murphy’s of Walmart is ALWAYS cheaper, unless I spend $200- maybe it would take $300.

      • Laura

My ad says the only 2 participating 4x point cards are i-tunes & Fandango.

Last comment, I promise! Don’t forget the deal of the day, today is $2 off Tide!

      • Mozella

Also when you buy the 50 oz Tide($5.99)+ another grocery item with this $2 off  your total purchase coupon,it will also take the $1 off Tide coupon if you have it loaded on your card so you’ll only be paying $3 for Tide! That’s what it did for me w/ my Bounty and Charmin purchase, because the $2 deal of the day coupons are off your total purchase! :)

        • Anonymous

Thanks! I noticed it did say “off your total purchase” too, and was wondering if we can still use another e-coupon or a mq?

    • Finallyfowler

There is a $1.00 off 3 coupon for the better oats, make then .75 for each box!!  google better oats and it will pull right up.

      • Dsquared9895

actually 67 cents, and a GREAT deal, my family LOVES this oatmeal!!

        • mom2riley

If you have a Food Lion nearby, ours had the Better Oats for .75 per box (unadvertised) makes it even a better deal!

          • Dsquared9895

            thank you :)

How do you know what region you live?

      • Anonymous

        Are you serious? Geez

        • Silverqueen00

Couponinggirl, responses like that really aren’t very helpful when someone needs an answer.  Figuring out which region you’re in can sometimes be difficult, especially if someone lives near a regional division or is new to couponing.  Spencers811, what state do you live in? Let’s try and figure this out :)

          • Anonymous

I flagged couponinggirl.  I’m tired of the rude people who have popped up in the last month.

            • Anonymous

I’m not rude. I don’t name call or cuss on here. I just state the facts.

            • Dsquared9895

              extreme couponing watchers?

      • Anonymous

I printed a list that had a few of each category, then compared it to what was actually in my ad.  I’m in Owensboro KY, and I know I’m not on the Louisville ad, and I think I am on the Atlanta deals, but I can’t figure out why I wouldn’t be south east.  I mostly just double check my add with my Southern Saver’s printout, writing down other little sale items that appeal to me but didn’t make Jenny’s cut- which I think has to be 40% or greater.

        • ACW

Oh my gosh. I feel so silly. I looked all over to see if I could figure out which region you were… and then when I was looking at my store’s online ad, I happened to glance up and see ‘MidAtlantic’ in the address bar. Just to see, I popped 42301 into the store search, and that’s coming up with ‘Louisville’ in the address bar for the store ad. If you’re anywhere near there, it looks like you’re falling under the Louisville marketing region. Hope this helps! :)

      • Anonymous

From Jenny’s old Kroger post several weeks ago:
        Kroger Regions:

South East: GA, SC, AL, Eastern TN

Mid Atlantic: NC, VA, North East TN

Loiusville: Southern KY, Southern IL, Southern IN, Nashville TN

I won’t pay for Tide, not when I can get for free using the $1. P&G Q’s…
we have about 40 travel size stockpiled. We’re also enjoying using the Dropps we got so cheap at Publix few weeks back.

        • Lisabluedevil

Where do you buy the travel size for $1?

          • Laura

Lots of people report buying it at walmart & target, but my walmart & target both say no way. They both say it doesn’t matter that the coupon does not exclude it, they cite “managers discretion” or “store policy” to deny any coupon presented with any trial or travel size items.

            • Anonymous

I buy it whenever I have a $1 coupon at Walmart. Never had a problem.

      • Bee

I did find the Tide to be an excellent deal as well–I use HE with Febreze and have yet to find it in the travel size bottles.

      • Laura

I was hoping that would also work for the $2 off total purchase wyb crest & oral b, and the seperate $2 crest…but it didn’t, it only took off $2 cartbuster & not the $2 crest.

    • GrammarDiva

Where can I find a print copy of the ad online?  I’d like to actually look at the ad from my region to see what’s on sale.  Thanks!

      • Anonymous

At Kroger website under weekly ads.

        • Anonymous

FYI – it is available on Saturday mornings for my area.

Tried to buy the cover girl blush yesterday and they would not let me. Said it was only for “face” products…last time I checked blush goes on your face. They told me I could use only on the concealer and face powder, but even that blocked up. Finally they over rode it on those two items and I was able to get both for $2. Good deal, but do not understand why the other items are not considered “face” products since the coupon does not have these specifics on it. I am just sick of my Kroger and prefer to go to Publix ?

      • lauren

thats odd bc the kroger i went to in knoxville definitely let me use the coupon for the bronzer.

      • Apjp2527

My local Kroger would not let me use mine because of the large overrage.  I told them I would go to Publix.  Had no problem there.

How rude- I had to figure my area out too when I started here. Your
attitude is condescending, and I FLAGGED you.  I’m tired of snide
comments here.  The comment section is supposed to be helpful, not
hurtful.   Have YOU ever considered YOU are not fully informed to understand that the regions are NOT divided by state lines?

Saw the Healthy Life bread (green packages) on sale for $1.29 until November. There’s a $.35 Q in 10/2SS, which makes the bread a great price when doubled.

      • I saw that too. The 1/2 loafs are .99. picked up 5 for .29 each. But the 1/2 loafs are only 4 pieces short than a regular loaf.

      • Laura

I dropped by kroger 3 times this week to get that deal, but found empty shelves every time :(
There are 2 other types of Healty life bread on sale for 1.99, and they did have those in stock but I’m holding out for the 1.29 loaves.

        • Anonymous

Empty shelves were a problem when the sale and coupon combo yielded free bread BEC (before Extreme Couponing!) You can always get a rain check and not make special trip to check on stock availability. :)

    • KP

I hope the crest coupons I have will work, because I have a chance to get 6 free!!! And i’m trying to make toiletry gift baskets for Christmas this year!!! PLEASEEE Kroger! LOL

      • David Scavo

At my Kroger, the only 2 Crest 4oz toothpaste that were $1 were Crest Cavity Protection and Crest Baking soda. Both are EXCLUDED by the $1 off Crest coupon from 10/2 P&G.

There is a $0.50 off Crest (that will double if your Kroger doubles) that will work on them.

    • Anonymous

In Jenny’s other post I think I saw that there is a catalina on the dole canned fruit.  This would make an even better deal!

      • I saw this too.

      • Teecee

I bought 4 last week and was looking for a catalina but did not get one — I’m not sure it is a deal everywhere.

      • Lisagrady22

I happened to buy 6 cans of the Dole pineapple today & received the catalins.  It is save $1 on 8 cans.  It would make the 8 cans $.88 during this weeks sale (w/o any coupons).  This was in McDonough GA.  ALSO!!!!!  When hubby and I shopped we did very well with savings 82% ($280 down to $36), but the manager stood at our register and only let us use 5 like coupons.  We had to split some of our items up into 2 transactions.  I followed the P&G coupons policy of only 4 couposn for the tubes of toothpaste & the only extra items that I was purchasing was loaves of bread & razors.  I didn’t think 8 loaves of bread excessive nor 10 packages of razors since we were purchasing 5 women’s & 5 mens.  With that being said I am happy with the savings but I had a headache when we walked out.  Starting to prefer Publix myself.

    • Terrible week again! UGH! What’s up with this…. :/

      • Kyl112

This is Kroger not being coupon friendly. Their sales keep getting worse. I don’t think they like couponers and this is their way of saying so. Thats okay. Publix likes us and I am sure they appreciate our business. I was in a Kroger on Thursday, when Publix has their  penny item in our area, and the store had hardly any customers and it was sooo quite in there.

        • Anonymous

Kroger in Lynchburg VA HATES couponers. It’s so frustrating.

    • Bee

Awesome, will definitely be picking up the .88 Kroger popcorn, .88 Granny Smith apples and Powerade. I actually used my last box of Kroger popcorn making popcorn balls tonight.

    • Bri

Where can you get some of these manufactor coupons??

      • Moi

In the circulars included in your Sunday newspaper. Other times you can print them off the internet or maybe you find them at the grocery store in dispensers. This website is an excellent resource for those like us who are getting started! Browse around and find instructions on how to make the best out of these deals. Happy couponing! :D

    • Laura

Just came from kroger where I bought 2 of the suave kids shampoo using the b1g1 manuf coupon. Sale price was $1.67 but the coupon auto deducted as minus $3.50 so I actually got both free plus overage!

Then I noticed I also had a buy a suave professional shampoo get conditioner free, then found those on sale for $1.67 so I got back in line hoping for the same deal. But that coupon deducted as minus $1.67. Strange,  but 2 prof + 2 kids for 1.84 total is decent enough.

    • Teresa

On the Kroger 10/$10, if you purchase 20 of those specified items, do you get them for $1 each after the first 10?

      • Hanna

You don’t have to buy a certain number on 10 for $10. you can buy one and get it for $1.00. So yes, if you bought 20 things, you would get them at $1.00 each

    • Arnol017

I went to kroger in durham nc a few hrs ago and they had the Lysol dual action disinfecting wipes that you can use the mail in rebate form from the paper 2wks ago. They were $2.99 and were even shrink wrapped to another bottle of Lysol wipes, labeled, ‘buy one get one free’. So I got TWO of them and both will be free after the mail in rebate! I have 4 more rebate q’s for this product if anyone is interested!

    • SmoochTheCook

Just thought I’d mention that tonight, I checked the price of mahatma rice, because we never get the coupons…was wanting to know if I should obtain some.  But, at my Kroger, it was 2.47 on sale.  Whoa…far cry from .09 after coupons!  Haha!  But, just a heads up to anyone who is thinking like I was, prob. won’t ever be that cheap for the Charleston/Huntington WVians.

Also, the heatlhy life bread that has the .35/1 insert coupon…. $.70 doubled….is on sale for 1.70 there and it’s usually 2.20.  HTH someone.

      • Ted8365

we dont get mahatma coups in ky either, but i wold love to cause it is something my family uses all the time and i am paying 2.39 here.

        • mom2riley

Only 1 Kroger near us in SC stocks the small 1 lb bags that are now $1.19 instead of $1.09. And- they are always out of them. I have had to scour the store for weeks to get some. I have 20 coupons but didnt want to shelf clear so I only take 3-4 bags at a time.

          • Scott wilson

i ended up getting mine at publix for a few cents more.  none of the mid TN krogers i checked have the 1 pound bags.  and as strict as kroger is getting on coupons id rather pay more at publix anyway.  but it is a good deal if you eat rice.

        • chewbaccabug

          ebay!!!!

      • Cathybodily

The one that is .09 is for the 1lb bag,  it’s actually 1.19 at my Kroger right now so with the .50 coupon doubled it’s .19cent

      • Anonymous

I bought this same item at Walmart in Charleston where they double. I was there on business but I’d never set foot in kroger if I lived in an area where walmart doubled. Check there!

    • David Scavo

Unfortunately at my Kroger, the only 2 Crest 4oz toothpaste that were $1 were Crest Cavity Protection and Crest Baking soda. Both are EXCLUDED by the $1 off Crest coupon from 10/2 P&G.

      • Antionetta

absolutely right! the .50 crest toothpaste q only says 4oz or larger. the ones on sale are 4.6oz. i believe i cut them from the p&g insert with $97 on the front

    • David Scavo

Unfortunately at my Kroger, the only 2 Crest 4oz toothpaste that were $1 were Crest Cavity Protection and Crest Baking soda. Both are EXCLUDED by the $1 off Crest coupon from 10/2 P&G.

      • KP

but the .50 off one doesnt include any and it can be doubled to a dollar, so if you have that one it should be ok.

      • JJones

KP is right – I just used the 50 cent coupon with no restrictions for 10 tubes of Crest for free.

        • KP

Unfortunately the shelves were cleared at mine. ughhhhh.

          • erin

            raincheck! : )

    • Couponjulie201

Not sure if it’ll show for all but Horizon’s website has a $0.55 off any Horizon product; won’t double but will make those milk singles even cheaper!

      • Troop949

I checked those coupons a few days ago, and I thought the coupon specified that it couldn’t be used on the Singles boxes.  I didn’t bother to try, but technically, it would be improper use of the coupon.

        • Couponjulie201

Really? Honestly, I just printed them off, clipped them, and put them in my stack right before shopping; did not read b/c I’ve never had an issue with the “On any product” coupons excluding the singles (the ones for “singles” usually specify the 3-packs). If anyone can confirm that would be great, even though mine worked.

    • JJones

This week at Kroger (Atlanta area) Pampers Kandoo flushable wipes for kids are 10 for $10 for the small, flexible, resealable 42-count pack.  There’s a coupon in the Smart Source 8/21 for 50 cents (doubles to $1) making it free!  I just picked up 11 packs!

      • Just a heads up, those qs specify in the small print that it is NOT eligible for doubling.

        • Barbe

A lot of times a coupon will say that. If the barcode starts with a 5, it usually will double.

          • That is true…however I work in grocery retail, and if I saw a Q that said DND, I would surpress doubling before scanning their q. I just wanted people to be aware of observant cashiers like myself. Hopefully, I checkout with a cashier who is less than observant (if my Kroger has them 10/$10) because these qs are burning a hole in my pocket. lolbs

            • erin

i thought that the do not double was specifying to the retail operation that the manufacturer will not reimburse store credit to stores that are doing a special double or triple coupon event.
it doesn’t mean anything to the consumer for stores that promise to double all coupons under $x.xx amount.  i could be wrong though.

            • KRMsmom

you are absolutely correct. The coupons that state DND are for those stores that are running a doubling promotion. Kroger doubles every day and does not get reimbursed by the mani on their doubles. Therefore they still double coupons that have the DND on them.

      • guest

Thank you sooo much. Would never had seen it if you had not posted it.I went thru that  isle for baby food earlier today and did not see it.

      • Learn22read

Thanks.. I just got 10.. :)  I have a daycare with lots of toddlers so these will come in handy.. I hope to find some more.. :)

    • mindingmine

does anyone know if the chef’s fav are in fact included?! :)

      • Maggie

I did not see them in the section  with the $1 frozen veggies and I went to look for them and think they’re 2.49/bag or so. I still got the regular veggie bags for $1  for free with the Q though. Hope that helps..

        • Cindy

Using the chef’s fav coupon on regular veggies?  Isn’t that coupon fraud?

          • Foo

yes, it would be fraud to use the chef’s favorite coupon on a different variety.

            • Cetheri3

If it is fraud, then why does it work? The coupon shouldnt scan if its for the wrong item. I used those coupons for the regular veggies that were on sale and they scanned just fine.

            • SarahLiz82

It’s because the first set of numbers on the bar code are the same – that’s the family or brand code.  If you go to any isle and examine different products within the same brand you find the same thing.  I learned about that after watching Extreme Couponing last season.  One of the ladies was using a high value coupon meant on a cleaning starter set, but used it on much cheaper refills.  It scanned just fine because of the family code, but she didn’t follow the coupon.

            • Efranks41

They need to change the numbering system then. There are ways to avoid coupon fraud. The registers are computerized and can be programmed to catch these inconsistencies. I have never watched an Extreme Couponing show, and after all the “bad” things I’ve heard that people pick up from it, I don’t see the need. Afterall, it’s not the “real” world and encourages people to err.  Just my opinion.

          • Maggie

I used what Jenny listed on what’s on sale  and my store accepted it. I’m not an expert at this so …….

          • Kjt8305

My Kroger requires you to hand coupons to the clerk, even on  the self checkout. Had they not scanned I  would have accepted the news, and walked away with the coupons, and paid the dollar for the goods.

      • Couponjulie201

Nope, they aren’t; over $2 a bag. Did not know if the coupon would work on the reg $1 sale veggie bags so I skipped them but may have to go back and try it now. Thanks!

        • my neighbor’s aunt makes $85/hour on the computer. She has been out of a job for 7 months but last month her check was $8982 just working on the computer for a few hours. Read about it on this site http://ufil.ms/jfiHL

      • SouthernDad

They are not included.  They are $2.39 a bag down here in Georgia.  The coupon does NOT work for the variety that is on sale.

      • Kjt8305

My Kroger in the Louisville area took them today. No question. I was thrilled.

      • Anonymous

They are not included in the sale in Jackson, TN (Delta Region).

    • Couponjulie201

Also, if anyone still has the $6/2 printable Schick coupon from a while back, it works great on the razors. The Xtreme 3 razor 4-ct disposables are B1G1 for $5.99. I got 2 packs free with it, and also one pack for $.99 using a $2 insert coupon I still had.

      • Thetaylortidbit

Walmart always have the Schick Twin2 for $1.97
        MM w $6/2 Q or $3/1Q inside package

        • guest

I  live in Marietta GA  and can’t find it at Walmart. Every time I go they are out.

          • Elle

Same at the Snellville GA Walmart – I finally gave up and used the coupon at Kroger.

    • Maggie

apparently my kroger in douglasville does not carry field or fischer brand. Is that so in all krogers or should I keep looking @ other locations, anyone know?

      • CouponNinja

My Kroger carries both brands but oly certain items.  I’m in the louisville region, maybe that’s the difference.

        • Maggie

oh I see!!!! thank you for the info ladies. I appreciate it…  :)

      • Jbush27

It’s listed under the St. Louis region.

      • Antionetta

i too was wondering if any other stores in the metro atl area carried fischer hot dogs or bologna cause i’ve never seen them @ stockbridge store. they do carry the field footlong hot dogs but my .50 q’s are for fischer. thanks

    • Allison

My Kroger has Cover Girl eye shadow for $2.55. I asked the manager if I could use my $8/2 covergirl on any face product coupon and she said yes so I used 4 coupons and got 8 eye shadows and made around an $11 profit!

      • KP

that is wonderful. I wish I would have saved my $8/2’s. that would have been a great way for me to stock up on some meat! But oh well, you live and you learn, still new to this. Gotta be smarter about getting overage!!!

      • Amy

At our Kroger the cash register automatically reduces the value of the coupon to the value of the product being bought (therefore won’t give overage).  Should I be getting overage?

        • Thetaylortidbit

Not all Kroger give overage. My store (Stockbridge, Ga) would not do it either, so I used mine at Walmart $3.14
Kroger has stopped with the overage and even doubling (ex. 0.88product….50/1Q…makes product FREE (.50+.38) but no overage

      • Jen

CoverGirl put something out that the $8/2 coupon could not be used on eye & lip products so you’re lucky they accepted it.  But, anyone else who knows and tries it anyway is technically committing coupon fraud.

        • Allison

          That’s why I asked the manager…

        • Gail

Unless you cite this information, I don’t think it’s fair to say someone who uses the coupon on eye and lip products is knowingly committing coupon fraud. It says on the coupon for face products but doesn’t say what it excludes. Just because someone named Jen on a forum says so isn’t much to go on. I think like the original poster said…check with the manager and you will be fine.

    • Amanda

Everyone may want to check with there Kroger about their doubling policy.  Mine just changed this week and will only double a coupon to the value of the item.  They are no longer allowing the overage to go on your order.  I missed out on a 10.00 overage today that I was planning on using.  Just wanted to give a heads up.  This was in Augusta GA

      • Amanda

        Their not there sorry!

      • Anonymous

I’ve never gotten overages at my Atlanta area Kroger. Either the register beeps and the cashier adjusts, or it adjusts automatically.

        • Kjt8305

Louisville area Kroger’s has never given overages in my 40 years of married grocery shopping. I am amazed always at people who post about overage credits.

      • Dsquared9895

My Kroger will only double the coupon up to the value of the item also.. always has too

      • I’m pretty sure they changed the policy to do this.

      • Anonymous

This just burns me up. As much as the stores (particularly Kroger) scream about coupon fraud…in this case it’s Kroger committing the fraud. They turn right around and submit those coupons for full value. Argh!

        • Anonymous

if u look on the actual coupon, it says face value “plus so many cents” so they are making money!  Ticks me off when they want to give us consumers a hard time when we are keeping them in business

          • Jenlsanz2

Are they actually making any money on the doubled coupons?

            • Ccameron75

hmm… maybe not – my bad!

    • Hgail14

Help….I printed coupons out & took to Kroger today & was told they no longer take printed coupons there considered FRAUD.. Advise me.. They said there policy was changed last week.  Has anyone else had this problem?

      • Amanda

No,  used the printed pineapple one’s today at mine and they didnt even question it.

      • Anonymous

Individual Kroger stores are allowed to set their own policies for printed coupons. My Kroger only allows one like printed coupon, for example. If your local store has experienced a lot of fraud with printed coupons, I would not be surprised if they decided to stop taking them. I would ask to speak to the manager to get the official word.

      • Louie_32887

I tried to use my coupon for the Free Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs that I received in the MAIL, but they wouldn’t take it either because they said they will not take coupons for free items that are printed from a computer…. Oh I emailed Kroger’s customer service! I was FURIOUS!!!

        • They took mine because I explained it wasn’t an internet coupon and showed them the back but it did look like an internet coupon and I was worried they wouldn’t take it.

          • Anonymous

I had a big battle about that one. I knew it would be a problem the minute I opened the letter and saw it. The manager eventually ok’d it after I pointed out the diagonal printing on the back.

            • Louie_32887

Thank you BOTH for that tip! I will be heading back to the store to explain the same thing here!

      • Annachis07

My Kroger in Tupelo, MS limits 2 printed coupons per transactions and no internet coupons over $1.00 and no “free” internet coupons either.  It definitely puts a cramp in some of these great deals. And its such a bummer to not find out until you are actually checking out.  My store had a small index card sized print out of their coupon policy that hit the high points in bullet form.  Might ask for that next time your’re in there. It’s helped me.

        • Hgail14

          Thanks new at this….

        • Efranks41

Which Kroger in Tupelo…Barnes Crossing or Crosstown? I haven’t tried to use more than two printed of the same coupon in a while. Actually, I’ve never done that a lot because most coupons will only allow two prints. I dread making multiple transactions to get deals. What is the reason for no internet coupons over $1.00? Why does Kroger care when they get their money back anyway?? Makes no sense!!

      • Their new policy limits the number you can of printed coupons you can use for a single type of item. You can only use two now. No ‘FREE’ ones as before.

    • Alh8452

I just tried to use my $8/2 Cover Girl Face Products coupon on an eyeliner and concealer and the Kroger in Macon, GA said that I couldn’t.  The cashier said it had to be a “face powder” and that they had just received a notice about this.  Has anyone else had this problem??  The coupon says “Face Products” so the eyeliner may have been a stretch but the concealer should’ve counted…..

      • Staci_marie

Make up is broken into eyes, lips, face.  Face would be blush, powder, base. I think the concealer is face – but the eyeliner is an eye product for sure.

      • Hurstpj

I used the coupon on two full sized blush at $4.55 each ($.55 each) without any problem at Kroger in Cumming, GA.

      • Because it says on the coupon fr FACE products. Not eyes.

      • Couponjulie201

I got 2 concealers using that coupon in my Knoxville, TN store, no problems. The eyeliner may have been what called attention to it.

      • Backtoou

This morning, while making the school runs, I stopped in Douglasville Kroger and purchased a single eyeshadow, 3pk eye shadow, eye make up remover and minerals makeup and the q didn’t beep and this is the 2nd go round I have used these coupons.  That particular store is just giving you a song & dance.  Furthermore, eyes, lips, brows, cheeks is all part of the face.

    • Staci_marie

Took my 11 year old daughter shopping with me on Saturday morning.  Sour cream was on our list – and is an item I won’t stock up on.  Said daughter loves sour cream, and eats a ton of it on baked potatoes, with tacos, etc.  I think she’d eat it straight if we let her.  Anyhow, she got really excited to see the Kroger brand on sale for ’10 for $10′ until I explained to her we could get just 1 for $1.  Didn’t HAVE to buy 10!

She was also alarmed when I picked up the value brand tub of butter for cheap, while we have always bought Country Crock.  She pointed out that we normally get the CC, and said “Daddy might be mad”.  I assured her, he would manage to cope somehow.

We talked about coupons, value, etc.  Might as well teach her right – I overpaid for groceries for a long time.  No need for her to repeat my mistakes.

Staci, Although you can get sour cream cheaper in most cases, an alternative to sour cream is plain greek yogurt. It’s a lot healthier, and has a very similar taste to sour cream, especially when added to foods. :)

I don’t know if anyone had mentioned it yet, but I found a coupon for the Campbell’s condensed soups $0.25/4 in SS 9/18 that doesn’t expire until 11/30

    • Hurstpj

FYI, in our Kroger weekly ad, the 12 – 16 oz. Kroger cheese is $2.99 each, not $2.50.

    • Hurstpj

FYI, “Tyson Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, $1.79 lb”, they are $1.99 lb in the Atlanta area weekly ads.

The Chef’s Fav .50 cent coupon worked well on the Bird’s Eye Frozen Vegs. in Louisville this morning. Nothing tastes better than free.

    • Laura

Found 12oz. bag of Kroger Value chocolate chips for $1.58.  In the past three years the cost of chocolate chips has skyrocketed and Wal-Mart pulled their cheaper store brand about 2 years ago.  I feel $1.58 is a steal!

    • Pampers Kandoo flushable wipes are 10 for $10 until 11/5 and if you still have the coupon from ss 9/21 that makes them free!

      • Annie

Do you mean the 9/25 SS as  there isn’t a 9/21.  Also the Pampers wipes that are listed on 9/25 are the 60 ct. and these on sale are 42 ct.  There is a coupon from April and August that works though specifically for the Kandoos.

    • Anyone know what kind of toothpaste is included in the sale?

ALSO Angel Soft toilet paper 4 packs are $1! :D

    • Lpagel

In pg brand saver there is a coupon for 50 cents off One crest toothpaste but  the picture shows whitening toothpaste. Does anyone know if it will work on this weeks 10 for 10?

      • Fgavent

The .50 off coupon works fine.  It is for 4 oz+ and the toothpaste on sale is the 6.2 oz.  The $1 coupon will not work at my store because it excludes the cavity protection that is on sale.

    • Sharwinberry

I had trouble loading the $2 off Tide ecoupon.  I sent Kroger an email via their “contact” site.  They sent me a response telling me that they loaded a $2 off coupon any item on my card since that could only be loaded that day.  It’s always a good idea to contact them if you have a problem.

just wanted to add a deal I found – Nesquick powder in a bag – $1.16, use .60 Manf coupon.  Pay .60 cents.  Also the Enfamil refill pack is marked down to $30.77, used the $5 off coupon that printed from Kroger.  Good deal for 2 packs.  Appreciate the site and all the deals posted on the site.

    • columbiamom

      Heads up,
Found out on Monday, Kroger on Forest Drive, Columbia, SC made changes to their coupon policy.  You are now only allowed 5 like coupons per day.  I was made aware of this at checkout as they had no posting anywhere in the store. I  went to customer service and told them they need to post it in their store immediately. Had I known this prior to checkout it would have saved me time and energy.

      • Loangirl2007

Is it 5 coupons per product?  I had that happen at my Kroger’s last week.  I had 20 Pillsbury crescent rolls and ten coupons for $1/2.  She only allowed me to use 5 of the coupons and I put the rolls back.  However, next time I’m going to try and break up the transactions.  Maybe you could try that.

    • Antionetta

my 2.00 minute maid q’s jenny told us about last week were burning a hole in my pouch. kroger in jonesboro, ga had 10pks on sale for 2.99 so i got (2) for .99 each!

Do you know of any coupon swaps in the area. I would love to give some of the coupons I do not use to someone who will use them.

    • Amanda

I found a $1.00 off 2 tombstones pizzas on nestlefamily . com! You have to sign in/ or sign up! This makes 5 tombsone pizzas only $9! Hope this helps!

    • Luz

In Texas, Kroger took off the benefit of double and triple the coupons, they also limit the coupons on a same item on a single transaction, the limit depends of the store and the management considerations.  Also the store’s manager has the power/right to decline coupons if she/he wants.

      • Michelle

I live in College Station and our stores here still double/triple, so not sure that’s true of all Texas stores.  They also don’t limit us at all when buying same item on a single transaction.

        • Whitneysparks

I also live in College Station.  I’m glad that our Kroger has decided to stay the same.  I know I wouldn’t be shopping there anymore if they didn’t double/triple.

    • How do you know which region you are in?  Recently moved to Searcy, AR and am a bit confused. Thanks.

      • Wendi

I grew up in Searcy and my parents and brother and sister-in-law are still there. I believe you are Delta region. That is a small kroger and doesn’t always have all the items. There used to be an older lady cashier who was grumpy about coupons, don’t know if she’s still there.

    • Scott wilson

anybody managed to find any Fields hot dogs at any Kroger anywhere???

    • KP

Man, I just wanna get the toothpaste! I’ve been to 2 different krogers, 4 times this week and none of them have the $10/10 toothpaste. I want to use my .50 off that will double! But they expire on Monday. however I did get rain checks from both stores, and there are .50 ones coming in this sundays paper too. So come on Kroger, restock! LOL

    • Citykat808
