    • Susanmaharaj2949

I have a couple of questions. 1) under the dole listing there is a store coupon and man coupon can I use both? 2) With ecoupons if I want to buy two of the same item and upload the ecoupon will kroger take the coupon off twice (once per item)? Any answered would be appreciated. Thanks

      • Hey there! Kroger will only take the eCoupon off once, unless you are buying something that has multiple eCoupons available for it. Then load both eCoupons and buy 2 and they will both come off.

For the dole salad it is going to depend on your store. Most are going to give you a headache but will take it.

        • hippychic11575

i can't get the kroger coupon to come up for the dole salad…i have the other coupon but not the kroger one..the page won't come up any ideas?

Manufacturer Coupon -.50/1 Downy Fabric Softener liquid or sheets, PG 5/01

My kroger does not allow me to use an ecoupon and a manufacturer! The register makes a noise letting the cashier know I already used an ecoupon! It was nice while it
      lasted!

      • Nackle78

I had to read that twice too. I don't get it. I don't think any Krogers are doing that anymore.

        • They never ALLOWED it, really. There was a glitch in their system that was letting it work, but it was never policy.

          • june

So “glitch” is the new word for “lazy” I see. LOL

        • Kitty12876

In my area, the Krogers are not taking the ecpn and MQ together anymore. I work with a girl that shopped at a different Kroger; she said that the mgr there instructed their cashiers to allow the ecpn w/ MQ as long as the customer still paid something for it out of pocket. I thought my work pal got lucky but maybe they're doing that in some other areas too????

    • Nackle78

Maybe I'm just bitter and boycotting Kroger since they stoped dbling trpling coupons in my region, but this is the saddest mega I've seen from them in a while.

    • I don't know what or how I am missing it, but what exactly does a tear pad look like? If it's like a .. say, stack of paper where you tear one off, as the name makes it sound, I've never, in my 32 years seen one.

I can spot a blinkie a mile away, but never saw a tearpead.

      • Bartonjeannie

It is just a little pad of coupons that you will see displayed with the item that the coupon is good for. I usually take 2. Sometimes you really have to look for them if they are not large in size.

        • Thanks. I guess I need to look harder! But, then again, we've got a shelf clearer in m y area so that could explain it.

          • Joanna

And I know some dirty buggers swipe the whole pad and then sell them on eBay. Tsk Tsk! But check with customer service.

            • Jeff

Yes – and anybody that buys from them is supporting this greedy practice. Please don’t support them. The quickest way to shut them down is to dry up their market. It has been months since I have come across a tearpad that wasn’t completely empty.

          • I also find them on freezer doors at the grocery stores. Another place is the local convenient stores (like Kum n Go)…I find them on their beverage doors a lot.

      • sharon60

You've got the tear pad description perfect. They can also be attached to free standing displays. Once in a while, I've seen pads laying on the customer service counter too. I've only encountered a few in the past year.

    • sharon60

I'm thrilled b/c I was FINALLY able to print Ronzoni coupons again. They must have been reset!!! Now if they'd just reset the Pompeiian again, I'd be set! I know I sound like I'm complaining and I'm not, just thrilled to get my favorite pasta free again!

    • Jettagirlie615

Are the prices listed already including the 5.00 off??

      • Rrbarr

        yes

    • Guest

Is it just me or are these prices really high? I might just be becoming a cheapskate, but I'm not going to make a trip to pay such I prices, I'll wait until till it goes on sale @ PUBLIX!

      • Yeah, I just went through the list and really only found the free milk exciting. I will go get it, only because I drive past kroger 2 times a day.

      • Joanna

I was just wondering the same thing. And my first thought was, “man, I must be getting more and more frugal!”

        • Not looking good to me at all. At my store, the Smart Ones meals are regularly priced at $1.88 – weird! These look like regular prices…

          • binkles02

My sales ad says reg price $1.88, but when you buy 10 items from event, they are $1.38. I think a typo was made in the above price list. Check your ad online and see if you have the same as me.

      • sarahcas

They seem high to me too. Prices on food are going up, though.

      • Amanda

I have been waiting for another Mega Event and I must say this one is a big bummer. I may skip it this time. I agree the prices have been higher lately. Prices always seem to go up when gas prices go up. So, hopefully gas prices will go back down and grocery and other prices will go down to match that in the not too distant future.

    • Saraehurst

How many times can you do the 10 items and still get the $5 off in one order??

      • lasmith

        Unlimited

      • Joanna

Here in Atlanta you will get $5 off for every 10 qualifying items. I've done 80 items ($40 off) in one order and I've heard of people doing more. Best part is, the $5 doesn't come off until the end, so, like when I bought Vitamin Water for 49 cents they actually showed as 99 cents. I had a 50/1 coupon that doubled since the computer read the item as the 99 cents. Made it a 49 cent money maker for each bottle I bought with that coupon. Woo Hoo!

    • “Pepsi Soft Drinks, 6-12 pk., $3
Manufacturer Coupon -$2/2 Pepsi product cans, 12 oz 18-24 pk, Pepsico Moments to Save insert 5/01
      (makes it $2 ea.)”

I have a question about the listed Pepsi promo. If what's on sale is for a 6 or 12 pack and the Q is $2/2 but for an 18-24 pack wouldn't that mean that one has to buy 2 18 or 24 packs for the Q to be valid? I'm new to this so there may be something I'm not seeing.

      • Amanda

Jenny must have made a mistake because to redeem the coupon you have to buy two 18-24 packs and it cannot be used on the 6-12 packs. You are correct.

    • Another questions? Are the prices listed ones before q's and the 5 dollar off promotion?

      • guest

“Prices listed below are after the instant savings and are for the South East region.” (Second sentence after the Mega Event heading)

      • Tnhchemical

What is the 5 dollar off promotion?

        • Prsol

During the Mega Event sale at Kroger, when you buy 10 participating items, they give you $5.00 off (or $.50off for each item)

10 items x $0.50 off per item = $5.00 off your total purchase.

Sometimes the discount prints as a separate piece of paper, similar to “catalinas” and sometimes it gets automatically deducted on your bill.

You must buy 10 items in order to get the $5.00 discount (although I think it basically discounts 50 cents off each participating items… I'm not a 100% sure.

Seems to me that in the last Mega event I was able to buy more items and the $0.50/item discount, regardless of buying in multiples of 10. Perhaps somebody can confirm this?

      • itismedia

It is after the 5.00 (.50 for each item), but before coupons. HTH

    • Ashleyjackson9781

hoping the ronzoni will be my first stockpile item! but i need a lil help please. i have 8 ronzoni $1 off of 2 Q's. that is 2 garden delight,2 smart taste,2 crmtt quick cook,2 rnzi quick cook. can i use all 8?

      • itismedia

If all of those types are included in the sale then yes. You can get 16 boxes, but remember the MEGA even only works in sets of 10 so you will need to pick up 4 more items to get to 20 (you get 5.00 off for each set of 10). HTH

        • Julia

I am really looking forward to this deal with Ronzini. I am married, in college and have 2 friends that live with us. We are on a budget, and all of this pasta would be wonderful to make spaghetti, lasange, etc…Super stoked about doing this deal!!

          • Cody

I have (5) $1/2 ronzini coupons I'm looking to cash in. First time doing something like this but if it works I'll try and print more to donate to a local food bank.

            • binkles02

Can you all check the online sales ad for your zip and tell me if you see the pasta above listed in the ad? I can only find Creamette on my ad. I'll be sad if the Rozini isn't on sale. I was hoping for a huge deal tomorrow!

            • Ipreferpublix

Creamette and Ronzoni sometimes alternate by region. Your region may have Creamette instead of Ronzoni. That's the problem with kroger…so many regions, so many price variations. If it's a good week, I go Sunday morning and walk the store to gather info then shop later in the week.

            • binkles02

Thanks. I checked an Ohio ad and they had both brands on there. Mine just has Creamette. I guess I'll find out tomorrow. Hoping for good news.

          • Julia, you can use the pasta to make easy pasta salad with whatever you have on hand. Cook up a box of pasta. Then, I use either Italian dressing or Kraft Philly Cooking Creme for my pasta salad dressing. Mix the dressing into the cooked & drained pasta. Then, add what you have on hand in any combination that sounds good.

Cooked or fresh veggies, cooked or deli meats, a variety of cheeses. Mix & match whatever you have. It’s really good & economical!

          • Bee

FYI be careful on the varieties. They usually don’t include the lasagna noodles.

    • jenjim4

Can I get 4 Nature's Bounty Vitamins (they're B1G1) and load the $2 off with my ecoupon? Or would I need to load the coupon twice? Thanks!

You can only load the coupon once. I have a card and my husband has a card. So I load one on each card and we can get 2. We just do them in 2 transactions since 1 will ring up half price. It will take $2 off on each one if I use a card and my husband uses his on one. Hope this helps!

      • Amanda

An ecoupon can only be loaded to your card and used once, unless they have two with separate expiration dates. However, I think still only one like ecoupon can be used in a transaction. You could use a paper coupon with the ecoupon to buy both though.

        • Kelly P.

Last week I tried to use and ecoupon with a paper coupon and the cashier told me the policy has changed. You can't use a paper with an ecoupon anymore. Don't know how widespread that change is – I'm in Raleigh, NC

I am needing some advice. I ohio we have IGA each indepently owned. Now today I went to use coupons on BOGO items. All went thru except 4. They wouldn't let me use them but they did the others. They claim I am getting it for free so they can't use them. I called the manager and couldnt get a word in edgewise. Needless to say I'm very upset. I want to write the association or owner but would like some decent explanations as ammo so my point gets across. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

      • Sarah

If it were me, I would just say that other stores in your area allow it and if they will not, you will take your business elsewhere. You might also mention that they will get reimbursed for that coupon (plus 8 cents) so it's not like they are losing money by you using your coupon.

    • Sara

Does Kroger have a limit on printed coupons?

      • Gish Ashley2008

I tried using multiple starkist tuna coupons the other day and they would only let me use 2 per transaction… i dont know if it varies by store or not.

      • Kandi_Lane

I haven't had any problems with there being a limit on printable coupons. The last time I went to Kroger, a few weeks ago, I had I think 8 printable coupons. Didn't have a problem at all.

      • bits

Our store limits 1 internet coupon per “like” item…used to be 2 now, they just let you use one

    • Mel

Couple of comments… first of all, thanks Jenny for adding the mid-Atlantic region's stuff! Also, I appreciated the one spot where you put that the Kraft booklet was found in stores in January and Feb. Helps people who wonder where these things come from. Also, in my ad, it looks like the Nature's Own is BOGO but I don't know that it's related to the eggs at all. It's in a little circle in the same box as the egg picture, but I don't see that it says anything about buying eggs to get the bread free. It just says Buy One Get One. Finally, does anyone remember the mega event 10 months ago or so where Mott's Apple Juice was $.99? I miss those days! I need another juice sale!

      • Bee

The .99 Mott's was last May. I even donated it to the post office food drive. I miss those prices, too. I don't understand a 100% increase. 1.99 for apple juice and having to count 10 products is not really a sale in my opinion. Was at Kroger this morning buying papers and saw a “Mega” price on bacon of $4.49. The day I have to pay that is the day I stop eating bacon.

    • jenjim4

When you buy SOBE drink from above the coupon is 1.50 off of 5, would this work. Can I buy 1 and still get the discount using this coupon? thanks

      • Melissa

If is says you must buy {5} of one item to get the coupon to work you must buy{5} or the coupon will beep and they wont take it. If it is a size or item count listed you must follow it.

    • HomeschoolingCouponingMom

Our Kroger here in middle GA is now offering a percentage off (I think it's 5% off) when you use your Kroger card and buy store brands. Are other Kroger stores doing this as well? I went to Kroger today for the first time in probably 2 months. Since they've changed their coupon policy, I don't really pay much attention to their ad. I guess the 5% off thing is ok, but I think they hurt business by getting so picky about coupon use.

      • newmommy

Havent heard of this, but Im all about buying kroger brand products so that would further entice me! Sounds like the program that target is using (for their credit and debit cards) that is obviously working.

      • Foxnettles

What part of Middle Ga? I'd like to see if my Kroger is doing this.

        • HomeschoolingCouponingMom

I was shopping at the Kroger in Milledgeville, GA. But, if I remember correctly the Macon, GA Krogers are doing the same.

      • Bethany

If this is the same promotion that Kroger in Irmo is having, it is 5% off Kroger products for armed services families (active or retired). You just have to show your military i.d.

    • Estherlodico

just called local Kroger and they said the sale will start at 3am. This will be my first mega sale. Is there plenty of inventory or do things sell out quickly?

      • binkles02

Some things go quickly, but they should restock throughout the week.

    • Bhawkins0711

Are the organic products listed part of the mega event?

    • Erica Autry

Is it just me, or is anyone else having a problem with the Campbell's soup printable coupons?

      • Foxnettles

        It wasn't there for me.

    • Tiffany Thompson

can someone tell me what the “M” before the product means? I CANNOT figure it out. Thanks!

      • The M in a red square means manufacturer coupon

      • Mhmeacham

        Manufacture coupons.

      • Juli

        Manufacture coupon. :)

    • binkles02

Can anyone confirm Ronzoni Healthy Harvest, San Giorgio or Smart Taste Pasta is on sale for $.49 this week. My sales ad says it's Creamette that is on sale for $.49. I can't find the others in the sales ad. Thanks!

      • CouponNERD

My kroger.com ad shows Ronzoni pasta on sale for Columbia SC

      • Samantha

Mine said the same thing with the last mega event and they both were!

      • Ashleyjackson9781

I am in TN and only the ronzoni is 49 at my store.

    • aejasper

How do I know when I can use two duplicate coupons in the same transaction? I've noticed that most coupons have varying phrases like, “Limit one per purchase”.

      • Sb

This just means one coupon per item. If you buy 3 you are “purchasing” 3 and therefore, can use 3 coupons. If it said “limit one per transaction” then you are limited to only one coupon per order.

    • Dtcox1

jenny in v a . i swiped off all coupons on my card .have better ones from papers and mailers and printed. but found on kroger this morning e coupon a free 4.50 off magnum 3 pk ice cream to try ///// all i have on my card right now god bless ……

    • Erin

Are all of the participating items listed in the “Mega” catagories? Rather, if they are in the Mega catagory do they qualify as the 10? Want to make sure I have 10 items before I get there! Didn't notice anything that defined any items differently.

      • Debee2000

Erin, those that say MEGA in the title of the list (ex Mega Grocery) are included in the list of items that you would need 10 to get the $5 off.

    • Marsha

i had an awful experience in Krogers yesterday. I only had 19 coupons and i went to get the grands biscuits and cinnamon rolls. I also had 3 ecoupons on my card and the computer kicked out 10 of my coupons because it said I didn't have products to match the coupons. The cashier counted the products and said I had the products but she would not put the coupons in madually. She started giving me a lecture on how to use coupons and treated me like I was trying to cheat or get away with something. I was so upset I have been using coupons for years and do the same thing every time they put the biscuits on sale. I don't understand why this happened. I was only going to save $8 but that is alot.

      • Amanda

I'm sorry that happened to you. I just left Kroger angry about coupons myself. For me the change in using the ecoupons with the printed coupons got me. I didn't realize they had changed the policy–wouldn't have been a big deal except for the rudeness of the cashier and the bagger about it.

    • Ashleyjackson9781

      Yay! Great shop this morning!
      Kroger….10 ronzoni pastas, 2 reach brushes,2 purex boxes, 4 cans tuna,3$ off catalina=$1.02 OOP!!!
Walmart…3 boxes purex(gave some away to lady in line)=0.78 OOP!!!
Walgreens..6 right gaurd body wash, 1 dawn, 2 head and shoulders…$8.48OOP!!
(they would only give me 4.49 off ea right gaurd so I had to pay 0.25 ea,

      • Ndaniel1232000

could you tell me what the walmart purex deal is? tia

        • Ashleyjackson9781

actually the purex was regular prices at $2.97 ea. I had $3 off coupons from this sundays papers,

    • Ashleyjackson9781

So I am sitting in Kroger lot waiting for 6 am. Having just bought my 6 newspapers. I am clipping a few Qs. I see this lady pull up to kroger and go up to the newspaper machine and take out like 10 papers!!! I am peaved! I just paid like 11 dollars for mine! How awful! So as I watch her toss them in her car I am ready to jump out and say HEY!..I open my door and slam it real quick. hoping she would know she was seen! Right after I slammed the door I then saw her pull a bundle of papers out of her car and load them in the machine! OMG SHES the Paper lady!!!! Geez, I need to chill!

      • Rs95

I'm laughing out loud here in my living room! Couponing is great, but I truly have had some crazy stressful moments. I think my life is def. more complicated! I lost my coupon book early on and almost freaked out on the customer service lady because I thought she was hiding it from me! Now I look back and laugh. – Remember to keep it in perspective or you'll end up on one of the TV shows looking like a nut!.

      • Leanna

        LOL! too funny!

    • Amy

I am a little confused can you not use manufacture cupons with kroger ecupons anymore

      • Deb

My Kroger in Owensboro, KY doesn't anymore… :(

        • sarah

I’m in Owensboro as well… and yes, I found out the hard way about not being able to combine an ecoupon with paper…by having a RUDE cashier practically YELL at me about it! I honestly didn’t know…I was going by what I had read here and it was the first time I had shopped there!!

      • Juli

Nope. Apparently as of a few weeks ago it is now company wide (or at least that's what my local stores have said).

      • Sati42

I just had this problem too. I was so excited for the extra savings I've been getting for the past few years! That worst part was how rude the cashier was about it.

        • Kelly Valentine

I have been surprised as well at how rude some of the cashiers are now that they are changing their coupon policy. I'm not sure how being rude is necessary to explain the new changes. We were just taking advantage of a system they set up and I think most of us don't go to the extreme that the shoppers on TLC do.

      • Nursehendren

I think jenny wrote a whole post about the new computer program and only one coupon (e coupon or paper coupon). Apparently that has always been their policy, but now the computer won't do it.

      • Nursehendren

check out jenny's post for kroger new coupon policy that she posted on 03/31/11>

    • Guest

Just left my K-roger. They had a sign on the door for rotisserie chicken $3.99, so I bought one, used my $1/1 Q, thinking everything went peachy. Decided to check my receipt and noticed that it had wrung up $5.99!!!! Went to customer service and they said that it was on sale last week, not this week, but that it was their fault that they didn't take the sign down. Then they gave me my $5.99 back!!! I told them that I had used a Q and really only deserved $4.99 but she said to keep the extra $1.00 for my troubles!!! :)

      • K Lomneck

then you should have argued the fact that it was THEIR mistake, and they would have taken it off, I had that happen to me once, and I got it for free!! ALWAYS look at your receipt before you leave!! they ALWAYS make mistakes! Good Luck next trip.

        • Amanda

They did give her the whole total of $5.99 back, plus she used a coupon and benefited from that $1. I think you misread her post. :) You are right though, that you should always check your receipt and that they make mistakes often. I always check my receipt and go to customer service to get ay issues resolved.

    • guest

I'm a little confused. This is my first mega event. My question is: Some items that are part of the mega deal are as cheap as 49 cents when you buy ten. If I buy 10 of those it makes my total $4.90, do I get an additional 5 bucks off at the checkout? That would make my items FREE and 5 bucks ON TOP. Any help????

      • Amy

The price reflects the discount, so if it says $0.49 that means it is $0.99 you get $0.50 off each item when you buy ten totaling $5, you don't have to buy 10 of the same item you can mix and match, but you do have to buy in sets of ten to get the $5.00

      • guest

I'm sorry, I forgot to add that I would use 50 cents coupons for all those items. That's how they would be free. Do I still get the $5 additional savings at the checkout?

        • JULIA

$5 will still come off your total at checkout

      • Shannon

The prices reflected are after the $5 off. If you use coupons (like $1 off two boxes of Rozoni past) they're free!! That is why you combine coupons with sales. If you have no coupons, you pay $4.90. Hope that helps!! =)

    • Sbgold89

So confused. This is my first Mega event and our Kroger ad that I picked up in the store has nothing about a mega event. Plus, all the things you said were on sale weren't. Help!!!!!

      • Nina

I live in MS and this ad/sale won't start in our area until Wednesday. So that may be the problem you're running into. HTH!

        • Sbgold89

I live in MS too! Thanks for the help cause I felt a little dumb :)

          • Liz

Yep! Us MS girls have to wait a couple days, but we get a great sneak peek and plenty of times to get our lists together!!! Wed-Tues are our sales here.

    • Sati42

Did Kroger change their manufacturer coupon policies? Let me clarify–the coupons that print out at the register that say manufacturer but were printed at another store such as BiLo–I have always been able to use these at Kroger as long as they were manufacturer coupons and not store coupons.

The cashier was so rude about it she hands it back and tells me this is BiLo I won't take it. When I said it's a manufacturer coupon she said I could talk to customer service but she won't take it. Of course customer service had no one working the counter and I was getting too upset to talk to anyone as both the cashier and the bagger had been so rude throughout the checkout.

For now I'm going back to BiLo until I'm done being upset with Kroger.

      • Lovegeorge2

My Kroger says the same. They will only accept if it says Kroger. I love Bilo – they are so hassle free when it comes to coupons and they double up to 60 cents.

      • Rs95

not sure where you live, but our Kroger has the WORST reputation for rudeness. Many many of my friends refuse to go back. I still shop there because it's the closest. I've even tried to contact the manager, but even that has been a huge hassle –

        • Sati42

Yes, I agree our Kroger has always been rude. I was able to deal with it because I saved so much money there with the ecoupons and the print coupons. I'm afraid I'll be going back to BiLo though. No hastles and with Kroger changing the coupon policies they'll be equal to BiLo in that regard.

Oh well, it was just one of those days I guess!

      • TracyH82

I wonder if it changed? I havent shopped at Kroger recently. But in the past they always took my Bilo coupons as well. Sorry you had a hard time with them!

      • Jenifer1999

I always just white out the store logo on those regardless of where I get them…. if I get one printed out & I know I'm going to keep/use that coupon I'll go home & white out the store logo if its a manufacturer coupon. I've never had a cashier even look close enough to notice the white out & the coupons always ring up. Hope that helps.

        • Sati42

Funny! I figured I would just cut it off and rough the coupon up a bit!! THanks!

    • Lisa K.

BE CAREFUL with the mega sale stuff! I went this morning and the Reach toothbrushes that were part of the 10 for $10 last week are apparently now part of the Mega sale – so that threw my count off for the 10 items for the Mega sale when I bought 2 of those thinking they were part of the 10 for $10 (because that is where they were still displayed). :(

    • Vanessa

Just got back from Krogers, shopped the Mega Event for the first time, and ended up saving 52%, the most I have done since I've started couponing!! I picked up 4 boxes of Ronzoni noodles and two Freschetta pizzas. After my order rang up, I got $3 back from the pizza purchases. I knew I was getting $1 back, but didn't know there was more money back if you buy multiples! It says if you buy 3 or more you get 5.00 off toward a Mother's Day Floral purchase. A good shopping day for me!

      • Sb

How many pizzas did you buy?

    • Ukintn

Men and womens body wash on sale $2.99 Had a coupon for $3 off for each of them so each was FREE. Also Mens Nivea shave gell was on sale for $2.49 and I had a $2 off so it cost me .49c. Ivory body wash on sale for $1 – I had a .50c Sorry I can't remember the insert these coupons came from.

    • Bchappell_312

So I just went to kroger and last week target had the nivea body wash for men for 3.04. Well this week kroger has it on sale 2.49. So if you still have your 3 dollar coupons thats where you should go. I wish I would of saved mine. You have to buy 10 of them, because its on there buy 10 items get 5 off. But it will be totally free (:

      • Amy

You don't have to buy 10 Nivea. You just have to buy 10 Mega Event items. You can mix and match. i.e. 5 Nivea and 5 Dannon yogurt still gets you $5 off.

    • Mlemerson

Newbie question? How many of the same coupon can we use at Kroger? I called 3 stores and got 3 different answers. I want to take part in the Mega event and use the kraft bbq sauce at 45 cents from this week SS and is there a limit on how many they will double? Thank you for you help!

      • Sb

It really depends on the store manager. There isn't a definite corporate policy on this. In my area, one Kroger will only take 2 like coupons, and at another they could careless.

There is no limit on coupons that double.

      • Rebekah

My store doesn't have a limit that I know of, but then again I never buy more than 6 of anything so they may say something if you are trying to buy a lot.

      • I bought 24 boxes today, using 12 coupons, but mine were 3 healthy harvest, 3 smart taste, 3 garden variety and 3 quick cook. They didn't even blink. I've used up to 10 banquet's at a time without issue, but it's up to each store manager.

      • I thought about using my .45 coupon as well, but it's for the 28 and 35 ounce bottles only. The BBQ sauce that's part of the Mega event is 18 ounces so technically you can't use that coupon. That is unless your coupon doesn't have those limitations on it….

    • Emily

So I have to ask. For the mega deals if the say buy 10 and get $5off. Can I use 10coupons for that product??

      • brandi

Should be able to. As long as you check out with 10 of the participating items, $5 off should come off.

      • Freestuff4cb

In VA, I can only use 2 like printable coupons per transaction.

      • jhoran

Its a mix and match sale, so no need to buy 10 of the same items unless you want to and then they might not let you use 10 coupons … some stores limit you to 4 like coupons….however, you can bypass that by just doing another transaction or going back another day.

    • Dtcox1

hi jenny just got back from kroger in v a got 145.67 for 36.42 great ///// got home and ck ticket should have been less . guess what got charged 12.99 for a herb that was .99 and 5 sobes full price 1.49 and no megas on them 5 pastas 1.49 each and no mega either . called back very very nice bring back ticket and they will refund my money. be sure and ck your tickets , that was a 17.50 on megas and the herb 12.99 should have been 5.93 this would have been my best trip yet/////////////// but i have to go back by tues. any way but gas is 3.75 now so everybody please ck your tickets before you leave the parking lot …….. god bless happy shopping this week

      • vs1999

I just got back from Kroger here in VA and they didn't double a 40 cent coupon. I think everything worked out O.K. I will be in there tomorrow and find out why.
Thanks for all the information, this couponing thing is so much fun, even though I'm very new at it.

    • Dtcox1

ps jenny talked to manger today at kroger in v a can no longer stack there said it was not''''''' kroger that done this but companys did . and the tlc ex coupon show was makeing this bad for all stores … you can still double .50 and under and 5 percent off on tuesdays so far \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ /???????????????

      • jhoran

Referring to the extreme coupon show, I think Kroger was just trying to give you the runaround because if you look closely at the receipts on the show, it says daytona mega event and guess who's the store that does this????? And seriously…. kroger only accept maybe up to 4 like coupons, so I have to come to the conclusion that its pretty much a set up for a tv show!!!!

    • Shanonrn

I will be doing my shopping on Tuesday this week due to softball games and practices for both of my girls. But, I have been working on my list and now I am on the hunt for my coupons. I currently have a total of $40 back on the Mega Event for the buy 10 get $5 back. They will be paying me to buy their propel fitness waters :) I've never had an issue with my Krogers. Always get great service and quick fixes if my coupons do not ring up properly, even my e-coupons. I'm in VA.

      • elizabeth

where in VA? My Virginia Beach store is awful…

    • Sb

Does anyone know if the Simply Inspired Freschetta pizza is part of the sale? Trying to make my exact list tonight, before I attempt shopping with 2 kids tomorrow ;)

      • Jamiecoupon1

I just did my shopping in Kentucky and the Simply inspired was included in the deal. I bought 2 myself.

        • Pevadiva

          Mines on sale in Alabama.

    • Guest

So does anyone know what is up with Kroger not doubling coupons. I went today and had a great day with the Mega Event, but when I got to looking at my recpt. they didnt double by coupons that were .50 cents….So anybody know? Does it have to do with the card since you cant use a coupon when its on your card and I got upset because I wanted to use the one in my hand because it would double but the one on my card wouldn't. Now I promise you I didnt get upset enough for them to change the policy in fact I just discussed it with my cashier who also didnt think it was right and told me I should call corp. which I didnt. I am just trying to figure out whats going on. I love Kroger but I am losing my love for it with all the new changes they are putting into place without any info behind it. They could at least explain

      • Cevans3075

Next time scan your card after you give them your paper coupons so they will be taken off and notthe e coupons. The cashier will prob look at you funny but its your choice when you scan your card…good luck and sorry abt your trip

        • Hayleyb323

Your coupons won't double if you give your card after coupons.

          • Debbie

My cashier told me the same thing.

      • guest

This happened to me earlier this week. Here's what they told me. They said you can only use one coupon, paper or the e-coupon loaded to your card. My Kroger just stopped the policy last month where you could use both and stack them. They told me if you have one loaded to your card it takes priority at checkout, it comes off right away and you can't use the paper one. You can't pick and choose. I deleted all the ones I had on my card and used the paper ones instead since it was a better deal doubling the ones for 50 cents.

      • Jennifer

I went week before last and did the Fiber One deal, where you bought 4 boxes and got a $5 gift card. I didn't notice until I got home, none of my coupons doubled. I didn't have any ecoupons on my card, so that wasn't the problem. I called my local store and they told me my coupon must have said, do not double. I told them that wasn't the case because I was looking at the same coupon I used, I still had one. They had no answer for me. If Kroger's isn't going to double any coupons, it isn't worth it for me to go there. I did 2 transactions that day and in the end I paid $3.20 more than I should have. I know that isn't a terrible lot of money, but over time that adds up.

      • Queensusan1111

I have started handing them my coupons first and my card last. They don't like it but they don't have a choice. Paper coupons double… Ecoupons don't.

      • jhoran

If you are in Texas, then you should know that they stopped doubling and tripling as of April 20….also, since they stopped stacking an e-coupon with a paper coupon, I suggest you get another card and not put any e-coupons on that one in case you have a better paper coupon. The doubling and tripling makes a huge difference and I'm finding there's not many deals to be had that's worthwhile. Kroger used to be my on-stop shop and now I hardly ever go there.

They haven’t stopped in Bryan/College Station and we’re really close to Houston. Our Krogers put signs up stating that they were still going to double/triple.

      • Bridget072809

At the kroger I used to work at as a cashier if you do not scan your kroger card FIRST then your coupons will NOT double. I don't know why but that's happened to me as a cashier before.

    • Therealoc323

I went to the kroger in irving. the ronzoni isn't on sale. :(

    • Guest

There was a Kandoo product coupon in last month's (April) P&G also. It's for $1 off One Pampers Kandoo product and doesn't expire until 12/31/11!!!! TILYK!!!!!

      • tennessee

thank you for posting. i had already thrown in trash. had to go retrieve.

    • Colette

Help..I am new at this and going to Kroger tomorrow to buy Ronzoni Pasta. My q. is I was only able to print off 2 coupons from the web. It set me to a site where I had to put e-mail address and name and after 2 coupons said I had print all I could. How is this done? Where do I find more coupons? Thanks from GA

      • Ndaniel1232000

It did that to me, so I went back and just clicked on one of the types at a time and it let me print them all.

      • Cevans3075

order some off ebay and they should be here before the sale goes off. Just check the exp date and make sure the seller is not in Hong Kong or somewhere crazy! I live in Ga and usually get mine within 3 days..even from New york or California! Good luck and stock up!!

      • Marina115

You're only allowed to print 2 per computer. If you want more, you need another computer.

      • Brenda

Please ignore the response from below suggesting to purchase from ebay. you should NEVER purchase internet printalbe coupons from e-bay as they are most likely fraudulent copies. unless you are purchasing clipped coupons from the sunday paper those are ok on e-bay…just never internet printables. you can print 2 each from your home computers.

    • Colette

Thanks Ndaniel, but to my dismay that didn't work either. I am frustrated…anyone else have a tip?

      • You need to find another computer to print from because it is 2 prints per CPU. When I really want someting, I ask friends to print them for me, if they are not going to use the coupon. My work allows me to print, so I can get lots printed there. Good Luck.

    • Amber

Do these prices reflect the $5 off catalina you get for buying 10 items?

    • Acarrion80

just went to kroger and tried to buy zantac used kroger ecoupon + paper coupon and they told me they changed the policy about a month ago that you can't combine ecoupon with paper coupon. Does anyone knows anything about this new policy???!!!!!

      • This happened to me about a week ago at the Rome Ga store. As soon as they get the Publix built thats where I will be spending my money.

      • Mom2bugnbee

Kroger has always had the policy that they weren't supposed to layer the paper/printed coupons with an eCoupon, but most stores didn't adhere to it until just recently. Kroger announced not long ago that they were going to adhere to this policy, & the eCoupon is automatically taken if it's loaded on your card. This applies to Cellfire & ShortCuts eCoupons as well, so you want to be sure to only load those that you want to use.

      • Marina115

Yes, Jenny has a post specifically about this change. Scroll through the Kroger section and you should find it.

    • Hmcothren

I am very confused by the mega sale. I have read several different answers. Is the $5.00 included in the price or does and additional $5.00 come off of the balance? For example if I buy 10 of the BBQ Sauce and 10 of the Capri suns, will I pay 4.90 + 14.90 = 19.80 and then subract $10.00 for a total of 9.80? or will I pay 19.80 if I do not have coupns?

      • Hmcothren

Do you get 5% you total purchase if you shop on Tuesdays? I forgot to ad this to my post above.

      • Angie8220

Lets just day you buy 10 propel water at .99 a piece for a total of $9.90 when you scan your Kroger card it will take off $5 so your total would be $4.90 for 10 propel water. If you mix and match 10 different item from the mega event they will take off $5 from your total after you scan your card. You do not get back anything back you just get $5 off at the register. hth

Where did the “Have you tried this yet?” home mailers? I've not gotten one yet.

    • Coster

Correction; Where did the “Have you tried this yet” home mailers come from?

      • P&G. I don't have the link handy, but if you google search 'P&G everyday solutions,' their site has a place where you can sign up to receive a booklet. You can request one every 6 weeks I think.

    • Freschetta Pizza Catalina question: If I purchase several pizzas in one transaction, will I get several catalinas back or just one for the first pizza purchased.

      • bianca

You should just get the one catalina. The rules are usually purchase 1 or more then get back $x in catalina's. If you want, purchase them in different transactions.

    • Are the Fiber Plus Eggo Waffles included in the mega sale? Or is it just the regular Eggo waffles?

    • Yet another question: Are the Pepperidge Farm Stone Baked Artisan Rolls included in the sale?

    • Is $3.99 for Always Sanitary Napkins the rock bottom price, or should I hold onto my coupons for a better deal?

      • Bauercandace

They frequently end up with RR or ECB's at Wags and CVS, so I'd hold onto them- with the RR and ECB's I often pay 99 cents or get them free.

    • guest

I tried to purchase the 40oz Heinz Catsup that was on sale for 1.99 last week at Kroger using the $2 off coupon I had printed. Kroger wouldn't accept it. So, in all of the above where it says free + profit, that may not be the case anymore.

      Anyone have a similar experience?

      • My Kroger is still allowing coupons that exceed the item's price, but they only double up to the item's price if it's a coupon for 0.50 or less. EX.. an item for 0.88 with a 0.50 coupon would double up to 0.38, not 0.50. Last week, the KY was on closeout for 1.49 at my Kroger, and I had a $3 coupon. I ended up getting 1.51 to my profit on that deal.

      • angela

My kroger will not accept coupons that are more than the item either. However, on the mega events, remember the price that the item rings up is actually 50 cents more than listed here, so you can still use your coupon.

    • sharon60

Anybody have issues getting Mom's Best Naturals coupon? I completed the form, never rec'd an email, so next day I did it again and still no email. I did get a coupon a few months ago but couldn't find the product at my Kroger. So is that why I didn't get it this time?

      • is the email in your spam folder?

        • sharon60

Well I cleaned out my spam folder and didn't see anything from MBN, but maybe I
overlooked it. Guess I'll try a third time! Thanks!

Anybody know if the Heinz ketchup is still on sale this week in Calhoun or Dalton? I never made it to Kroger last week. Thanks in advance.

    • Ruthiem312

quick question.. Getting ready for my shopping trip and in the sunday paper there was a coupon for $1 off when you buy 1 Propel water or a 6 pack of Propel Zero. I have 4 of those coupons. Propel is on sale for $.49 in the mega sale. So I should be able to get 8 Propel Waters (I know I will have to buy 2 more products to get the mega sale). But I just wanted to make sure this would be the case

      • Ruthiem312

and the 8 Propel waters would be free with the $1 Q right?

        • Mjb52403

I think the coupon is saying either 1 Propel 6 pk or 1 Propel Zero 6pk, not individual bottles….

        • Mel

I have a coupon for $1/2 Propel Zero… this coupon would make two free (if the Zero is included–not sure if it is or not.)

    • dani446

This may be a silly question, but on some of the MF coupons, they say something like “one per customer”… If I'm wanting to get multiple of the same item, does that mean I have to do seperate transactions for all the similar items? Or does that simply mean one coupon per item? Sorry for the confusion. Hopefully clear.

      • itismedia

If it says, “limit one coupon per purchase” it is per item. If it says, “one coupon per customer” it is per order. I have had this explained this way several times over the years by several stores so this is how I do it and I have never had a problem. Just watch out for P&G coupons because they say, “limit one coupon per purchase of products and quantities stated”, but they also say, “Limit of 4 like coupons in same shopping trip” so with them you can only buy say, four tubes of crest pro-health toothpaste with 4 coupons per order. HTH

    • momof2under2

Anyone know which Libby's vegetables are $.60 each? I went today and out of 12 purchased, only 2 rang up at the right price. I was in a hurry and the store was packed, so I didn't go talk to customer service. I will go back tomorrow to check, but wanted to see if any of you knew tonight. Thanks!

      • Amy

if things ring up at the wrong price at kroger, they will give them to you for free. it's kroger's policy that if any product rings up incorrectly, and you catch it, you take it to customer service and they will give you the product for free! :) check your receipts carefully!

      • sharon60

Thanks for mentioning this yesterday b/c it made me pay more attention today. The only ones on sale in NW GA were: Naturally Whole Kernel Sweet Corn, Cut Green Beans no salt no sugar, Sliced Beets and Mixed Veggies. Neither the regular Green Beans, nor French GB nor Carrots were on sale. I never buy low/no salt products, but figured for 35 cents, I'd make it work.

    • Bridget072809

The Kroger I shopped at tonight had a peelie coupon on Kraft bbq sauce for $2 off Koolaid or Country Time when you buy two Kraft barbecue sauces. Koolaid and Country Time are on sale for $2! I paid $1.00 for two bbq sauces and Country Time lemonade. Hopefully there will be more at other stores.

My Freschetta catalina said it was good for a Mother's Day floral purchase. Can it be used for other merchandise?

Also, I went shopping late last night, so they only had U-scan open. Someone left a Reach $1 off catalina coupon. When I scanned the toothbrush, a $2 off 2 Reach brushes came out. Keep a look out for them. Probably going to use it to buy more items to donate.

      • Sandy

That was what my catalina said too. I received a $5 off any floral purchase. I would say you have to follow the terms of the coupon so, no you can't use it for other merchandise, but you could always ask a manager. I gave it to my husband, and told him to pick me up some free flowers after mother's day when they are clearanced. :)

Super rama ad this week has a coupon in it for $2 off oscar mater bacon but im unsure if it is a store or manufacturers. Coupon. It says “in ad coupon” and in the expiration part it says “good week of 5/1/11” and the scanner starts with a 5. Can I use this at kroger? Thanks in advance for any help with this.

      • itismedia

My store started this awhile ago along with only allowing 2 like coupons per order period, and no free coupons even if they are from the manufacture, not copies and have a silver seal. Add that to the ecoupon headache (I am trying to patiently wait for the ecoupons I cannot remove to expire) it makes it harder and harder to shop at Kroger!

    • Bradleycentre

      Oscar mayer I meant.

    • Dtcox1

just called corp 1-800-576-4377 about va kroger about 5 coupons not doubling today .very nice lady …. said it should have doubled they do double up to .50 cents gave me a credit on my card for next time . was worth the call''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''

    • Can someone in Columbia, SC get with me on how the Kroger on St. Andrews is? Its the one around here and i havent shopped at Kroger in over 5 years. Im going this week to get a card and do a little shopping…and wanted to know if they are accommodating…worth it or not??

      Advice please…..
Many of the “printable” coupons give me the message “Sorry! You have already printed this coupon the number of times allowed.” when I haven't printed any. Does anybody else have this problem?
This happens on both of my computers.

      • SamanthaB

It could be that its reached the max of times to be printed by everyone. The company only allows so many coupons to be printed of each item.

      • Kristy Black

This happens to me sometimes too. I haven't been able to print Valley Fresh steamers for at least 6 months because I always get that error.

      • jhoran

Most of the time its because the print limit is reached and there's no more available

      • Lisa

yes I never printed the land o lakes butter that I can remember and I get that message

        • Teri4now

Exactly what happened to me on the land o lakes. I tried another computer, same thing. I agree that the limit must have been reached.

    • jhoran

1.00 on ivory body wash came out in the P&G insert on 5/1/11. Sweet!!!! I was hoping the women's body wash would be on the mega event. I tried to get them at Walmart and no luck.

    • SamanthaB

So kinda new…so help is appreciated! I have b1g1 old spice body wash. Can I combine this deal with 2 1.00 off old spice products and use the buy one body wash and get one gillette deodorant?

      • jhoran

You would not be able to use 1.00/2 because you would be getting the one free…now if you bought 4 you would be able to because you would be paying on 2 bodywash. You would also be able to get the free deodorant on each bodywash you are paying for. hth

        • This is only partially correct.

In Atlanta, BOGO items ring up half price, so you can use a coupon on each item.

          • jhoran

In texas, free item rings up 0.00.

        • Oops sorry! I misunderstood the questions!

      • itismedia

You can only use one coupon per item so the BOGO coupon will attach to one of the BW. You can use 1 – 1.00/1 for the other BW though and you can use the B1 BW G1 Deo.

        2 – BW
        1 – Deo
        -1 – BOGO coupon
        -1 – 1.00/1 coupon
-1 – Buy BW get Deo free
So basically you will only be paying for one item (a BW) and getting a dollar of it to boot! HTH

    • Mlaurie406

I bought the Nivea body wash (one men's and one women's….both were included in the sale) and my e-coupons did NOT come off. Is there anything I can do?? Or can I at least return them without losing the promo prices for the rest???

      • annon

the e coupon did not come off because the price is 2.99 and the coupon value is 3.00. this is just how their system is set up because it has happened in the past.

        • Mlaurie406

Okay, makes sense. Sucks, but makes sense. Can I return them??? I've never returned anything to Kroger!

          • Sandy

            Yes, you can return them.

    • Bridget072809

Did the mega event change how it comes off? I checked on my receipt and instead of it coming off as $5 it comes off as $0.50 off each product. I think it actually worked better for me since I think I bougth 31 items on accident but all 31 items had 0.50 off of the mega event savings.

      • Frisbeebear

That's what I was just about to ask! The mega-event thing is new to me, and I wondered, do you have to buy in tens to get the discount, or do they just take .50 off every item. Thank you Bridget!

        • jhoran

I would be cautious about that….it could be a glitch in the computer system

        • EB

You still have to buy in 10s to get the discount, but it now shows up on your receipt as 50 cents off each item instead of $5 at the bottom.

      • Whitneysparks

I was just about to get on here and ask the same thing. I went to Kroger this morning and came home to look at my receipt. I had five mega events, but none of those showed up at the bottom. I want to make sure that I actually got everything .50 off. It shows underneath the item, but the price didn't change. Does that make sense? What did you find out?

    • Bradleycentre

Ok so I went to kroger customer service desk and they were unsure if I can use the $2 off oscar mayer in ad from super rama weekly ad and I called customer service whom told me I would have to aask someone in the kroger store so I guess im stuck…..

    • Bradleycentre

I almost thought about just trying it to see but I don't want to get in trouble

    • ozzishep

I live in Hot Springs, AR and I'm a little confused about the Kroger Mega List. The ad here runs from Wednesday to Tuesday. Do the ads run on different days elsewhere? I wanted to buy the Sunny D & some of the other products on the above list but my Kroger ad does not have the items on sale. I'm brand new at this so I'm trying to figure this all out. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!! :)

      • EB

Yes, in most of the southeast and mid atlantic, the ads start on Sunday. The posting here that starts on Sunday, will start on Wednesday for you (you get a few day preview) If you want to see what is on sale for you today (Tuesday – the last day of your current sale), you would need to look at last weeks sale on this site. I think most of the deals are the same, but meat and produce vary regionally.

        • ozzishep

Thanks EB! I appreciate your help!

      • Snbburgess

I'm in Memphis, TN and also noticed our ad was different. No SunnyD, LandoLakes,or Ronzoni for which I have coupons.

        • ozzishep

I'm hoping that the SunnyD, LandoLakes & Rozoni will be on sale but just not in the ad?? Of course those are the items that I really wanted. I'm not sure what day I will make it to Kroger but I will let you know what happens with these items.

          • I'm in Houston…our ad didn't show Ronzoni but when I got to the store it was part of the mega event…same goes for the Land o Lakes. I didn't check the Sunny D.

        • Aklholl

I live in Tupelo, MS, and these things were not in my ad either but they were in the store when I went in today. :) HTH

    • V.Kelley

the Nivea bathwash is actually 2.49 when you buy 10 participating items, earning you 51 cents. The women's Nivea bathwash is on sale for the same price too, even though it is not in the sales flyer.

      • Mlaurie406

Just an FYI, this works with the paper coupons, but not the e-coupons :(

        • Supersaver281

so does the e coupon not come off or it takes off the 2.49 and no overage??

          • annon

e coupon will not come off because the price is less than the coupon amount.

          • Mlaurie406

Like pp said, it won't come off at all. It didn't for me, at least!

    • Bradleycentre

      • S0crwmn

yeah i usually toss those coupons..but this week I kept them thinking i might hang on to them and see if i can get the fixodent for free….great thing to donate. hopefully i will never need them. LOL

        • Bradleycentre

          Agreed!

      • tennessee

the store i went to didn't even carry the fixadent cleanser

First trip to Calhoun GA store since the change in coupons at Kroger. I called ahead and was told no stacking, no “free” coupons and no limit on like IPs but if anything beeped it would be at their discretion to override. I had 26 IPs and it only beeped on 2 Boulder Canyon and 2 Mom's Best cereal coupons at the end of my order and the cashier overrode those.

      2 ITEMS TO WATCH:

B1G1 Perdue boneless chicken breast tenders were $5.29/lb BUT the whole boneless chicken breasts were $4.99/lb before the discount. I bought 4 packs and the receipt shows 1/2 price on EACH pack. I'm used to Bi-Lo and Food Lion wrapping 2 packs together and charging you full price on the more expensive one in that package so this was a better deal.

The Scotch Brite Green Sponges that are part of the Mega Sale in my store were NOT the individual ones on which you could use the coupon, but were packs of 3 at 2/$4.

They still had Heinz Ketchup for $1.99 and accepted my $2/1 coupons – so not only did I get 8 boxes of my favorite Ronzoni Smart Taste free, but I got 4 bottles of my favorite ketchup free too! Can't beat that!

      • Bakerswim

Where is the $2/1 coupon on the Heinz?? Fingers crossed.

        • sharon60

I think it came out a couple of weeks ago and was probably gone very quickly.
Check the database or last week's Kroger ad to see if it's still available.
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

      • sharon60

The Freschetta catalina is not on another Freschetta – which was what I was expecting, but is on “your Mother's Day Floral Purchase” in the Floral Dept. I bought 2 pizzas and got $3 and it expires 5/17/11.

I also expected $2 off my next purchase for th 2 Freschetta pizzas. Me being new to this and not knowing differently, I went to the customer service counter and told them I didn't get my $2 in catalinas and they gave me $2 cash out of their register!!!! Then I got home and realized the real reward is for the floral purchase not a catalina. Oh well…worked out fine.

Quick question: In need of razors. The gillette disposables are on this list as part of the mega event, but I have scoured my weekly ad and can't find them. Can anyone verify that these are part of the sale?

      • LeahS

They were at my Kroger in Duluth, GA.

    • Jlacons

If you are in South Carolina (don't know about other states) Kroger will no longer let you use ecoupons and printed coupons together! ecoupons will override printed coupons that you may want to use. This is very sad for me as I do alot of shopping and saving at Kroger!

      • Jennifer

From what I have read on here they have been doing it at most all Krogers. I shop at the one in Aiken, SC and they DO still take them both for right now. Not sure how long this will last but I am fortunate.

      • Paigedmcguire

They are doing the same here in KY. I had an e coupon for $3 off of tide, and they would not let me use it, because I had an e-coupon for .35…I think this is new. I may not load e-coupons again, because I think my paper coupons are usually worth more.

      • Emily

They did the change of service for e-coupon and paper here about 6 weeks ago here in GA also. If you look at your e-coupons and click the plus it will tell you if it willr not

    • Lisa

I did great today, I got a HUGE trunkload of groceries for $51 – before coupons it was $138 worth of stuff. I love the mega event, the only time I go to Kroger. I got captain crunch, free ronzoni, some old spice and nivea products – they were out of the body wash.

      • Aliciamabel7

It would be great to see your shopping list!!!

    • Cindy

I think it is so sad that the Kroger in my area has stopped taking ecoupons and paper coupons together. They have always taken both, but have stopped 2 weeks ago. I guess I will just use my paper coupons cause you get better savings eith them and only use ecoupons for things I don't have a paper coupon for.
Also I was so excited to get 22 boxes of the pasta today for free!! Our community was hit a week ago by severe tornadoes and I was able to turn around and donate the pasta to local mimistries who are feeding people who lost everything.
      Great week at kroger.

      • Andrea

It is awesome to see that you donated back to “our” community. I live in Alabama and it has been so nice to donate from my stockpile! There are so many people in need right now and it's great to see so many couponers donating such wonderful items!!!

    • LeahS

The Mom's Best cereal was not on sale or a part of the Mega Event at my Kroger in Duluth, GA. The apples were also not on sale.

      • Angel

The Kroger in Buford, Sugarhill, and Gainesville have the Mom's Best as part of the Mega Event.

    • Kathyellisor

Where was the Kraft Food and Family booklet, I think I missed it

    • Mlaurie406

I got a mailer from Kroger with a coupon for a free lays potato chips, and there is a coupon in my insert from Sunday for $2 off wyb 2 lays kettle cooked potato chips, sunchips, or rold gold pretzels. There is also one for a free sierra mist natural 2L wyb and sunchips or lays kettle cooked chips. I'm hoping the free lays coupon from Kroger will work with this b/c I should be a decent deal! I've been wanting to get some sunchips for cheap, so this would work for me!

      • Mlaurie406

Update—it worked! A bag of Lay's chips, a bag of Sun Chips and a Sierra Mist Naturals 2L for $1 and some change :)

    • Couponjunkie

The boneless pork loins are $2.49/lb in Columbia, SC not $1.99/lb I even asked a manager about it. I'll have to wait for more BBQ :(

    • Annodal24

I do not like the way the new Mega events ring up with the .50 cent deduction. Got home and realized I had made a mistake that I would have caught if the old way was done. Weird thing is I bought a nonmega event item that I thought was a mega event item, which is why it messed up, but only 5 items didn't ring up with the .50 deduction. Trying to decide if I wanna return something or not…..I seem to be at the Kroger service desk a lot lately

      • Bee

You would have caught it probably because you would have seen at the end that $5 didn't come off enough times. I have this suspicion about why they are doing it this way. It kind of looks like they want us to get home before we realize we didn't get the discount. You should really return the item because they don't need to think they can get away with the “new” way.

    • Mote7299

just left Kroger and the Perdue B1G1 chicken breast are $4.99lb. They ring up half price and in the RP 4/10 (for the south east) has a $.75/1 coupon!! I got 4 packs of chicken breast (1 was a markdown) and paid $10!! would have paid over $30! hope this helps anyone :)

      • Ag Black

got the same deal! loved it! bought it to use as our lunch meat!

    • Rrbarr

HEADS UP on FRESCHETTA deal——catalina is for $$$ off next FLORAL purchase NOT for ANY item purchase; so pizza does not end up being $1.49. But funny thing, I wonder if it can be used on any other items since on the Q it says “excludes RX and items prohibited by Law”. Why would it say that if you could only buy the flowers? Anyone know for sure here?

      • Angel

I did not realize if mine said it was for Floral or not but I used it on the every next order and I did not purchase any floral items. So I would think it is off your next item as long as it isn't on RX.

      • Teri4now

I just got back from Kroger, I split my transactions and was able to use the $5 catalina $$ on the next order with no problem. And nope, nothing floral. I think they are just trying to get people to buy from the floral department.

    • Tigress1321

To the guy that went into the nathen dean kroger at 6 this morning. and took 3 cases of niveia body wash that I know your not donating….you are rude and inconsiderate to others. you will be treated the same way one day.

      • countrygirl

I agree sweetheart! I went a couple of weeks ago, to get me some, (of course for free) and someone got there right before me and wiped off the shelf. She had over 50 in her buggy, I just wanted 4, I seen her, so I know it wasn't a couple of people, of course I got mad….all I wanted was 4!

        • Tammy

@ countrygirl, I know, it took me over 2 weeks to try and get the ones I have. I still have about 5 coupons left and still in search of the womens….

    • HeatherWva

Where you have listed: Kroger Large Eggs, 18 ct.

Get Free Nature’s Own Whole Wheat Bread WYB (1)

      (Mid Atlantic region only)

It is actually just buy 1 get 1 free on the nature
Nature’s Own Whole Wheat Bread It does not have anything to do with the large eggs, although it appears that way at first glance of the ad. I love you website. thanks for everything you do. I've saved a great deal using your website and appreciate all the time you put into it all!

    • Chris

FYI – watch out on coupons.com and make sure you check the Boulder potato chip Q. They have a new one out that is $1/2 instead of $1/1. If you look under zip 90210 you should still see the $1/1 Q.

    • Barbara

I just got back from Kroger, and I'm a little surprised. I had 4 printable coupons for the Ronzoni Quick Cook pasta, which is included in the mega event. The cashier told me that they now only take 2 printable coupons for each like product. This was a CSR…the same one that I went through 2 nights ago with 4 printable coupons for the other kinds of pasta with no issues. I asked her when the policy had changed, she said it had always been that way. She was very nice about it, but acted as though she had known this all along. I didn't point out to her that she did it two nights ago on the same brand. I really wish they would make up their minds about the policy so it isn't so confusing for everyone involved!

      • Chris

That's odd – I think she was BSing you. I just bought 96 boxes the other night and then another 60 the next night and had not one problem using my Qs (which I had one for every two boxes so I got them all for FREE). Food bank loved getting 140 boxes of good pasta – and pasta that was fresh off the shelf instead of about to expire.

        • Barbara

I had that feeling too…but somewhere in the back of my mind I'm wondering if this is going to be a permanent thing. The coupon was the $1 off 2 boxes, so I just kept the extra 4 boxes in the order & paid for them. Still a great deal, but it makes me wonder about the next time I try to use more than 2 coupons. I also found Ivory soap 10/$10 and Crest toothpaste 10/$10, and had $1 off coupons for those as well. Maybe she didn't like the fact that I was basically getting everything free…I don't know.

I picked up 20 boxes, which went immediately to several of my neighbors who have children that are out of work. We're not in much of a better position than they are, but I love being able to share with them!

          • Chris

Agreed – it's the only way I can afford to help others right now myself. But I think she just didn't like that the stuff was going to be free. I had a similar experience at Publix the other day (one I don't normally go to but the ones I do go to were out of what I was looking for). This lady treated me like dirt and it was as if I had my hand in her purse trying to take her money or something. Even the manager that came up was going to be fine but she started in about he can't do this or that because then it would be free and so then the manager said I could only use one Q per item with the store Q. I made him give me back EVERY SINGLE Q and walked right out the door and left the whole basket there.

        • Cwalkermarie

How did you get that many printable coupons?

    • jennaj81

Just had my first Kroger shopping experience today and it was bittersweet. I got everything I wanted with no problems, but had coupon issues. About 40 coupons into my transaction a manager comes up and tells me that a new policy came in today where you can only use 1 “like” printable coupon! She then said we would have to void the transaction and start over so I could take my coupons out! I politly told her this was my first trip here, had asked CS before shopping if there were any new policies, and the cashier had not mentioned this one to me. And that I would not be buying most of the items if I could not use the coupons. She spoke with another manager and decided to let me go on through with it this time. So, I say it was bittersweet because everything worked out in the end, but with this new policy I doubt I'll do much shopping there in the future.
I really don't understand why they would make this policy since they will be reimbersed by the maufacturer. And the shelves were very well stocked, so it wouldn't be to limit the # of items you can get. The cashier even told me after the CSM walked away that they “never tell us about this stuff”.Oh well.
By the way this was the McDonough, GA store on Jonesboro Rd.

      • guest

i think we should all call in or something. this is my store and i will not go back there if they do this, this store is HORRIBLE about making people feel like they are stealing using coupons…

        • Stef

I called Kroger's corporate number just this week and they told me their coupon policy was up to the managers at each store. So they will vary from store to store. They told me to go to customer service and ask for a copy of their policy.

      • Chris

OK – seeing as how I was going to purchase 200 boxes of pasta with Qs I thought I should call Kroger after seeing this post. Apparently the policy in question has been in place for about a year. The store manager I spoke with (the Atlanta Rd store in Smyrna, GA) stated to me that the policy is 6 like items with 6 like coupons. When I explained to him that I was just in his store and bought more than that the other night he told me they were not supposed to do that. SO – it looks like enforcement is spotty at best and that some managers enforce it while others do not. And it appears that cashiers have not been told either (or at least most of them have not).

Now I will say that I have noticed day shift folks at Kroger and Publix tend to be VERY strict while later shifts (late afternoon/evenings or night) tend to bend more. I'm going to Kroger today with my pasta Qs and potato chip Qs and we'll see what happens.

    • Teri4now

I just completed my first EVER shop buying only items I had coupons for (except for one roast that was on sale for about $15, still saved over $5 on it!) I certainly don't qualify for the tv show, but I think I did very well. My total would have been $215.84, but my out of pocket was only $74.70. I DID mess up on the multiples of 10, for some reason I didn't think the frozen pretzels were included, so I missed out on that. Also, the propel fitness water didn't ring up for $.49, it rang up for $.99, messing up my multiples of 10. I plan on going back to get my $5!! In looking at my receipt the pashier also typed in $2.49 instead of $3.49 for one of the Old Spice body washes, so there's another dollar. I figured out that I saved (including the $6 I plan on getting back) about 68%…not bad for a first timer!!!! I thought I was well prepared, but now I see it will take a bit more getting used to!

      • Kstj

Good for you Teri. I'm trying to learn and do the same thing you are. You did very well and should be proud. I think for us who are starting out we need to get our stockpile up and going and then after that we can concentrate on just the free items. Watching the show I noticed these expert couponers have quite the inventory so they can be more selective. At least that's the way it appears to me. I do have one question though and maybe you or someone can help me out. Did you have any problems or do a multiple transaction? At Kroger's they will only double up to eight coupons for eight items at a time. Trying to juggle the coupons, meet the $10 per item for $5 off and keep all organized at check out!

        • Teri4now

Thanks Kstj! I have to say, scanning my own coupons and having a bored supervisor probably made a difference as far as how many coupons I used. I don't know if it would have been different if I had shopped during the day when they had regular registers open? The cashier might have balked at all of my coupons, multiple items, etc., but since it was late and I did it all myself she didn't say anything. I went back tonight and the same supervisor was there, she agreed that I should get $6 back, but she told me that I need to come when the customer service desk was open and she couldn't help me. Huh. Guess I'll just deal with it when I go back to see what deals I can get this week!! And, keeping everything organized is a real trick, isn't it??
