Kroger Logo

It’s week two of the Mega Event at Kroger. This week they filled their ad with Mega Event deals and pretty much nothing else, so the rest of the ad is pretty bare. I’ll give you a list of extra deals unadvertised tomorrow that hopefully will make it a little better.

If you see any other deals or coupons leave a comment below.

Looking for the ZonePerfect Q in my SS5/22. Dont see it. Im in Marietta, GA. Is this one regional?

      • Maria

It must be, my coupon is only for .55c

      • My coupon in Tucker is for 55 cents also, and expired.

    • Samiee

I am not understanding this Hot Pocket business. The Snackers are not on sale for 1.65. The Hot and Lean Pockets are. But the coupon is for the Snackers.

      • Misty

She puts in parenthesis (if included).

      • Jcasto304

        My snackers were on sale.

        • Samiee

Really? That sucks. I heard they were on sale at Walmart. I might try there tonight.

    • Salovescb

Isn't this sales ad the same as last weeks? Is Kroger getting lazy?

      • Bb

This is very common. When ever there is a mega event, they always have it stretch out 2 weeks.

        • Samiee

Which only means that this weeks Kroger deals are just as bad as last week's. Haha. :D Publix ftw!

        • Ibdqt34

The same thing happened the 2 week prior…it seems like they pretty much run the same ad for 2 weeks in a row.

      • pdsmama

Krogers sales usually have a pattern of 2 weeks for a set group of items, then a few things that vary each week.  This allows a week of non-shopping, or allows for some people to get a paycheck, or allows time for ordering coupons from a clipper service. Or if you see an unadvertised rocking deal in the store, check the little tag for the end of sale date- if it ends the following week or later, you have time to order extra q's.

    • Tgerlilyxx

For the Chef Boyardee coupons you have to enter purchase code 63829897. Just trying to save some other people the headache. :)

      • lala

        thanks!!

    • lala

can someone please explain when it says coupon recyclebank coupon print and when I click on it I can't print. it wants me to register which I did and I don't have any points. I want the kashi coupon. Thanks for any help!!

      • Mandyward67

it is easy to start getting points on there…just play around with the website and you will figure out how to get points

        • lala

          thanks

    • Bcuzikan1971

Where are the Green Giant coupons? I can't find any on their website through the link…

    • newbie

Banquet Frozen Entrees coupon link doesn't work.  Anyone has a working link for the coupon?  Thx!!

    • Sara

Just got back from Kroger where they were having a Coca Cola products sale.
Buy 4 12pks for $12/Get 1 12pk FREE, but some of them had peelies on them (Nestea, Minute Maid, Mello Yellow, Fanta) for $2/2 12pks, so it ended up being 5 12pks for $8 or $1.60ea.  That is great for holiday picnics.

    • Bee

Kroger and I got along fine this week.

I picked up Banquet meals (.19 each), Kraft BBQ sauce and kool-aid for around .12 each. Also had a stack full of .50/2 cans of Chef Boyardee that made each can .19. I got 10 cans and still have coupons left over (they were priinted inside Banquet boxes a few months ago).

My hubby needed Dove deo which was marked $3.49 and I used a $2 coupon. It rang up $4.29 so they had to refund and it made the deo purchase a $2 moneymaker.

Tornados were .69 box after I used a handful of $1 off coupons Kroger has been mailing me for months.

The nectarines on sale are delicious, if they are the same ones I bought packaged in a net bag.

I had planned to get the Grands biscuits but Ingle's had their store brand Grands-style biscuits for .25 a can (same size as Grands).

      • Bethany_bates12

How did you get kroger to mail you coupons?? Been Trying to figure this out.

        • Bee

My card is registered on the website which I am told by others is the first step. However, I've had the card for about 15 or 16 years.

Also, it is my primary grocery store. I've heard that they will mail no one coupons if they don't spend an average of $300 per month (but this is before coupons). Also, some of the mailers are based on what you've bought in the past–such as pet supplies, organic foods, etc.

I seem to get about a magazine a week, sometimes more. They also send out quarterly coupons for free items and they will print out of the catalina machine too.

    • Khjbcoupons

gotta have it deals in any of the drug stores or grocery stores this
week.. gonna be a slow week for couponing.. what ever shall i do.. the
laundry,.. cook .. clean out closets..

    • Someone posted that they had a problem where an electronic coupon kept them from getting their $0.30 off a mega event item.  I thought they were mistaken until I had it happen to me today.  I bought 10 items, one of them being the Country Time.  The receipt had the plus next to it, indicating it was a Mega Event Item.  It then had the eCoupon discount for $1.00 below it.  There was no discount of $0.30 below the Country Time.  I counted, and a total of nine $0.30 discounts were on the receipt.  Is this a new Kroger policy, or is this a glitch?  Does anyone else have info on this occurrence? Thanks for your input.

      • Lisabluedevil

I think this is their new norm.  They won't allow the overage which is what you would have had with the extra .30.

        • charlene704

I have the Kroger Southwest Coupon Guidelines which was last revised on 3/29/11 that says:  If a manufacturer coupon exceeds the price of the item, the excess will be applied to the basket purchase. If the excess is greater than amount due on the total order after the coupns are redeemed, the excess will be given in cash.

          • charlene704

It also says at the end that Kroger Store Managers reserve the right to accept, decline or limit any coupon. And the coupon policy is subject to change without notice at any time.

      • Ibdqt34

I had 3 transactions at Kroger today and I just went back and checked and all of the 0.30 showed up. If Lisa bluedevil is right and Kroger doesn't do overages, then that is probably why mine showed up because I didn't have any overages with all of my other coupons.

      • A friend of mine did the same transaction as me, buying the Country Time with 9 other mega items.  Her eQ came off, but she didn’t get the $0.30 off.  We paid $0.29 for that Country Time rather than getting it for free.

    • Bj B

I just got back from Kroger and they informed me that i could use only one like coupon per order.  A few months ago they changed it to only 3 like coupons…now its one.  I thought 3 was fair.  the associate said it came from corporate because of what people have been doing?? (not sure what she was talking about).  she said since “that show started” , extreme couponing, it has gotten real crazy.  I have been couponing for many years and agree with her.  I have noticed more and more restrictions from stores since that show started.  Has anyone elses kroger put a limit of 1 like coupon….just wondering if it truly is from “corporate” or just an individual store thing>

      • deb

where is your store?  that is really restrictive!

      • Ibdqt34

I went today and bought 6 boxes of Cheerios. 2 I had ecoupons for and then I used 2 more coupons and my cashier didn't say anything about using multiple coupons. That's silly for only 1 like item…esp where I'm 'from…we have 2 major papers that have coupon inserts. I'm in NC…maybe the store/state varies (even though it shouldn't).

      • need2save

I just used 7 like coupons yesterday at my Kroger.  Not sure if the new coupon policy will go in to effect in my area, but I hope not.  That is not even enough to feed the family for a day.  Three is pretty strict… one is outrageous.

      • coty1107

No, my local Kroger allows as many as you want to use. They have not limited us at al. We live in Southeast KY.

      • Srhinteriors

Our store in Southeast GA limits you to two. Doesn't sound crazy to me. ) :

      • jennyfrances

Does this mean like when they have snuggles on sale I can only use 1 coupon? I usually get 3 then have 3 coupons. I dont do Krogers much since the saved $5.00 on the 10 itmes went to save $3.00. My local sotre Food Land usually has better deals.

        • Lea

No you can use one coupon for each item.

      • Kathy

I think this might be the store.  I'd talk to mgmt, then call corporate.  They are allowed to set  “reasonable limits”, which I'm all for, but one isn't reasonable. That show has caused major issues.

      • Amy Y

Wow, I sure hope my Kroger doesn't do this..  A few weeks ago (and I typically don't do this) I preordered the huggies wipes that were buy 5 save 5 making it .99 and I bought 110 of these.  I was able to use all my coupons in the same order even on top of my other purchases.  We aren't limited at all unless we are being inconsiderate.  If i'm buying more than 4 of any item I always call ahead and place an order.  With 5 kids and one on the way though I just couldn't pass up getting every one I could.  The show it really causing so many problems for a lot of people though.

      • AM

At some point Kroger, and other stores who are starting to limit the amount of coupons we use, will see a drastic decrease in their profit. They must know that they will get fully reimbursed for each coupon they accept. If I am only allowed to use one or two like coupons, then I will only buy one or two like items (instead of maybe 5 or 6). Therefore, they will lose money.
Eventually, when they're smart enough to realize that they are in fact LOSING MONEY, maybe they will go back to the way things used to be.
        One can only hope…

        • Jesskevchan

Well I have been shopping strictly at Krogers considering they double coupons up to .50 cents.  WalMart doesn't do that so I can get a better deal on SOME things.  But if they limit me the next time I go there I will start going back to WalMart.

        • Jesskevchan

Also, if you have to split your transactions it is taking you longer.  Therefore more unhappy shoppers behind you due to their stupid rules.

        • Bee

That's very true. I think besides the show, Kroger got a little bit jaded about selling groceries when they realized how much money could be made in selling fuel.

Even if a good amount of their customers don't use coupons, those customers will notice the higher prices and fewer discounts.

      • AThib

My Kroger (AL) takes 10 like coupons.

      • Cori C.

I would have politely reminded her that Kroger has been the store featured on “that show” portraying themselves as a store in which a person can extreme coupon. They asked for it

      • mrs. s

Yes1 In raleigh,nc my store limited all q's with the same brand down to 1 per transaction….meaning if i had a ketchup q for .50/1 and one for ,75/2 they won't let me use both if their the same brand!!!!

      • Upset in St. Mt.

I had the same thing happen to me . We need to call in and report the Kroger Store for being an turncoat.

    • Dianiitsu

For the Cottonelle coupon, I printed it out and it says “do not double” Will the computer still double it and make it $4.69?

      • Mel

It should.  I have one cashier that lays out all my coupons on the conveyor belt and pulls out the ones that say DND and then manually makes sure they don't.  But unless your cashier does that, they should double automatically.

    • Ibdqt34

      Heads up:

Reynolds wrap is a better deal at Harris Teeter if you have one close to you. Original price $3.99 but it's BOGO, plus we just got 0.75/1 in 6/26 paper.

      Ex: 1-reynolds wrap at $1.99 – 0.75 (that doubles to $1.50) = 0.50 final price!

    • Ibdqt34

Did anyone else think they were looking at the same Kroger ad that ends today? It looks almost identical. :-(

      • Mel

Krogers ads run for two weeks.  This is the second week.  There may be some minor changes, but it's usually pretty close.

        • Ibdqt34

Thanks Mel. I read down a little further and saw that. I used to be an exclusive Kroger shopper. You'd think I would have picked up on that years ago. :-)

    • McKenzie

I am really disappointed with Kroger.  Many of the stores featured on EC have been Kroger or its affiliate stores.  They are showing the EC audience things that they do not allow in their stores.  I have been couponing for over 5 years.  I have seen more changes to stores coupon policies over the past 6 months than the entire time that I have been couponing.

      • Sarahh569

thats all b/c of the extreme coupon show and its going to get alot worse soon.

      • Cori C.

I know it drives me crazy that they obviously threw their coupon policy out the window for the cameras. But when we take our coupons to the store in the real world they give me so much difficulty these days.

    • kim

I went to publix and spent $358 used $170 in mqs and sqs and It came to $188 $100 of that was Gas cards. My point is that publix took all of my coupons and did not complain once they let me purchase 2 gas cards (limit one for each purchase) and let me use 20 in produce coupons. They could not have been nicer. Total for thegroceries was 88 dollars thank you LINDA!

      • veguest

Where do you get produce coupons?

      • Jennifer

I wish my Publix was this nice. I love my Kroger and have the best customer service, the most friendly employees, and I never have a problem with coupons. My Publix, however, is rude (including the managers), they are not coupon friendly, and act like I am taking money from heir own pockets when I use coupons. They are very rude and I hate going there but I love the deals that I get. I have tried emailing corporate and all they ask is what I think could make this store better. I really wish my Publix was as great as some of you talk about!

    • Farrahwright

Can you use a printable coupon and still get credit for a saving star eCoupon too?

      • LouisvilleShopper

If you load coupons onto your shopping card it will only use those, and will reject the mfr. coupons. But SavingStar is different. It is where you get cash back for buying stuff, but has nothing to do with your coupons. So, yes, you may use both and still get credit. (I bought $4.50 worth of SavingStar items about 2 months ago and only $1 was credited, so I wonder how accurate it is?)

        • Efranks41

If you email SavingStar with the specifics, they will check into it and get your credit for you. SavingStar is VERY ACCURATE!!

    • Ben

i think its junk that it was $5.00 off now its 3 off.. whats next taking the mega event away… hate krogers to start with

      • Ashhp0613

The Daytona mega event is always $3 every year. Just FYI…

    • geraldine

I have reached my limit in printing out coupons from ConAgra Foods or Child Hunger Ends Here-I still buy these products-how long do I have to wait before I can print out more???

    • erin

I have only been couponing for about 10 months.  By using sites like
Southern Savers (thank you Jenny!) to pair coupons with sales, and using
tips like buying sale meat in bulk and freezing it, looking for manager specials, stocking up on
great deals on non-perishables and cleaning items, etc. I was able to lower our monthly grocery expenses by
      over $150 a month.

However, even though I keep trying to do the same thing my grocery bill
has been creeping up.  I'm seeing a lot less opportunities at Kroger for
pairing coupons with sales, the sales don't seem to be as deep a
discount as they used to be, and prices on produce, meats, and several other items I purchase regularly keep
      climbing.

      • Bee

You are absolutely right. The deals are fewer and fewer and the savings are lower. I'm not sure of the eventual solution because it's a double whammy.

And it's not just Kroger. Walgreen's and CVS have a lot less free or next-to-free item offers (if they are in stock at all).

I've been cooking from scratch more than ever to save money and doing some of my shopping at farmer's markets and Aldi.

    • Missy4483

Went to Kroger yesterday, found 1 thing that isn't mentoned that turns out being free.  Kroger has Minute Maid frozen lemonade 4 pack on sale for $1 ea and I had 7 .50 off coupons… all 7 were free.  Had to get my Luigis frozen ice… use coupons on it too (sale 2 for $5)

      • AM

Where did you find the Minute Maid coupon?

        • DGgirl09

          RP 6/26!

    • jp22222222

The Oral B toothbrush coupons DO NOT work for 2 toothbrushes…Went to 2 Krogers and they refused to take both coupons…It is really frustrating to do all this work and think we are getting the deal Southern Savers states then turned down at store!

      • Melodimckee71

The Oral B toothbrush coupons work for 2 toothbrushes at CVS. Just got them and I walked away with an extra care buck to use towards my next purchase!

        • jp22222222

Thanks! Appreciate it I went there!

      • Luvemcwbys

Southern Savers is here to help all of us figure out the best deals.  They are not always 100% accurate, but that is where we have to come in and look at the sales ourselves.  Also, the first thing you are taught on this site is to check out your stores coupon policy yourself.  If you came on here and automatically looked up the deals without educating yourself on how to coupon correctly, then you need to go back and do that so you won't have these issues in the future. I wish you better luck next time.

        • jp22222222

I went to a class Jenny held….Thanks for your concern though!  Their policy was not posted.  I received $5 off since I brought this to the regional managers attention.

    • sk20000001

is there a place to get the code used for conagra-banquet coupon?

      • Carla

    • Newbie to Kroger

Question about the mega-event….  What happens if you buy more than 10 items in the sale? Do you get more than $3.00 back? If you buy 20, do you get $6.00?

      • Catherine

You get $3 back for every 10 items, so if you buy 11, the last one won't count the $0.50 off, but if you hit 20 it'll work…this is what I understood when I called kroger a few months ago. But ppl, correct me if I'm wrong.

        • AM

          Yep. You're right.

        • Ibdqt34

A couple of months ago when I did that, it didn't ring up that way. I was expecting a $6 off and only got $3. I just separate my orders now…did it yesterday 3 times. It's a bit of a pain so if this is true, then I'll start ringing it up all together.

      • Sierra_26

yes you do I asked the customer service desk before checking out and she said it had to be in multiples of 10. I bought 30 items and it all rang up correctly.

      • Teecee

A clerk at my store said if you don't hit the multiples of 10 exactly, it will print out how many extra you had at the bottom of the receipt. Then you can bring the receipt to the service desk with as many items as you need to reach 10 and still get the deal. I did that once when I miscounted (shop with kids, you know….). I went back a few days later (still the same ad week) and they let me buy one item and get the full mega discount.

      • Littlemcknz

You can do 3 mega deals in one transaction.

    • Ars37217

      got the catalina deal!

    • Melissa

Heads up on the Country Time Deal. If you load the Kroger ecoupon to your card which takes off $1.00, the Mega Event (Daytona Savings) $0.30 will not come off because the product is only 1.29, after the dollar it is .29, since that is less than the .30, the computer doesn't automatically take it off. I noticed this on my bill and went to customer service, they eventually figured out the problem and gave me the 30 cents. If I had known it would take so long, I wouldn't have worried about a measley 30 cents. But just thought you should check your bill if you purchase it.

      • Janice

I actually did this and it worked. I had the cashier check to make sure it would still be ten items for the Daytona Savings. It took off the .30 and the 1.00 ecoupon.

    • Sunshine

Just an FYI – Here in Columbia I had a bad experience trying to purchase two toothbrushes wtih two  $2.00 off coupons and a BOGO coupon.   I actually purchased four tooth brushes, all the same kind had (2) additional $1.00 off coupons and (1) additional BOGO coupon and was told that I could not use all those coupons.  I could either use the dollars off coupons OR the BOGO coupons, but ONLY ONE coupon per item was Krogers policy and they were kind enough to point it out to me on their customer service wall.  ONE COUPON PER ITEM.  I don't know if this is a new policy, but I was told I could not “stack” coupons either.  No more blinkies with MFG, no more Store coupons with Mfg. Very clearly told “ONE” coupon PER item, and again was shown the shiney new coupon policy sign. I was given an option which coupons to take back and use, but that was all.

      • Allison

I rarely go to Kroger in Columbia because of how couponers are treated there.  I absolutely HATE the mega deal, because you have to count, count, count!  I just want to buy the good deals and move on.  Publix is usually where I shop.  I will go and get the school supply deals this week.  That is it, though.  No coupons needed.

        • Jenny had a GREAT tip on the counting aspect of the mega deal.  When you take your reusable grocery bags count into tens and put into bags while shopping, this way when you get the check out you know you are good to go.  This super simple tip is so handy and obvious but one I had never thought of before.

          • gardengirl

I tried Jenny's tip last time I shopped a mega sale, it made it so much easier.

      • Mary

blinkies are manufacturer's coupons.  You should never have been allowed to use a blinkie with “MFG” coupons anyway.

        • JC

I just started working at a Bi-Lo and had a woman come in and argue that she could use a MQ with a blinkie. I have only been couponing for about a year and had never heard of this or seen anyone mention it. I thought it was odd since botha re MQ. Our manager went ahead and took it off because she was getting so nasty about it. I guess this is why stores are changing their coupon policies.

      • Kathy

You shouldn't be able to use 2 $2 off and a BOGO cpn on 2 toothbrushes.  You could use one $2 and one BOGO on 2 at best, some stores aren't even allowing   that.  Kroger doesn't have “store” cpns, except on Kroger products.  Blinkies are manuf cpns, so can't use 2.

    • Tinamarie04275

Had what I think was an excellent Kroger run tonight. Spent $144 and saved $187 (we had been out of town two weeks so needed basics!
I purchased 40 kraft BBQ Sauce and 20 Kool Aid/Lemonade canisters. Used 20 save $2.00 on any Kool Aid canister when you buy 2 bottles of kraft. Plus it let me use 2 of the 1.00 off 2kool Aids. So I got all for $4.80   WOW

      • Lea

Not cool…when are you really gonna use 40 BBQ sauces before they go on sale again in 6 weeks? You more than likely cleared the shelf, or at least came close and now there are a ton of people going in for a bottle or two of sauce that are SOL. Please learn some coupon etiquette before you go to the store again. Without coupon etiquette, the experience is ruined for everyone. And just because the register let you stack coupons doesn't make it right, the store is not going to get reimbursed for your stacked coupons and therefore take the loss of profit – and who ends up paying for that? WE do.

        • Shannon

Agreed, Lea you have no idea how many times I have gone to a store and they're completely out because of someone who bought 40 of something.

    • Sierra_26

Last week Kroger had Wisk laundry detergent on sale B1B1 free does anyone know if that sale has continued this week?

    • Nikita621

I don't have the ecoupon available to me for the Country Time…did I miss it??

      • JenofOz

I tried everything I could think of and couldn't find it either! Another reason to print every coupon that we might think of using before they run out of prints!

        • Lea

It was a Kroger eCoupon that you load onto your plus card, not a printable…

          • Staffe

It wasn't available on my Kroger eCoupon site either?  Oh well, that powdered drink mix is not very healthy anyway.

    • Rainbozbra

Great night at Kroger. Spent 108.00 saved 131.00. Was able to get stock up on the banquet meals, sausage and pizza rolls. Plus several other things.

    • JenofOZ

I had a bad experience tonight at Kroger. I am a couponer out of necessity. Tonight I went in with my printed coupons for Chefboyardee and Banquet meals. I had four of each. When I got to the register I was told I could only use 2 printed coupons of the same type. I shop at Kroger all the time and this is the first time I have experienced this. They said that they had just changed the policy the previous week! I  live in Richmond, VA and went shopping in Chester, VA. Anyone else having this problem?

      • Same deal here in Shelbyville, KY. They say they are cracking down bc of “extreme” shoppers. :(

        • Lgfroggin

A lot of stores are changing their policies. RiteAid told me today that they no longer allow 2 coupons on B1G1 items. I do agree that there should be a limit but I think 2 is a little absurd. I do get frustrated after working all day and then heading into the grocery store to find that every single item i went in to buy is completely sold out.

      • Bee

While normally I would agree with a store's right to limit, in Kroger's case this seems ridiculous. The Banquet meals are part of the mega sale. The Mega events encourage the practice of stock up shopping habits. This makes Kroger look completely hypocritical.

Now, if someone were coming in using 20 of the same coupon perhaps I could see the point, but 2?!

      • Jennifer

My Kroger has always had the policy of 2 printed q's per item. I have always had to do 2 or 3 transactions in order to use them all. I am in Aiken S.C.

      • Zalovar

I've had a similar experience here in Virginia Beach.  The Kroger I normally go to has the same policy; however, another one I checked out limited it to ONE printed internet coupon per manufacturer.  I called one more Kroger in the area and the told me they don't take internet printable coupons at all (not sure if that's true).  Anywaym, point is, the manager of the store gets to decide individually how that particular store's policy.

I did good at Kroger! I got 12 cans of cat food for $3, skintment(sp) shave gel norm 3 something for $1, mens shave gel norm $3 got it for $1.48, bite apples free, bite apples 4 Pck .49 .. I got $45 for $20 and only used like 8 coupons..

    • last night i went and picked up 15 boxes of the Minute Maid frozen pops for FREE ( they are on sale 10/10)…… My Campers are going to be happy today!!!!!

    • hannah

Hey has anyone been to kroger yet and looked to see if the snackers were on sale also? thanks!

      • Rfarmer5125

I checked last week, in knoxville, tn, but they weren't included :(

      • Dtcox

went today not in v a or the totis pizza rolls sorry

      • Lgfroggin

In Tennessee, the snackers were not on sale at Kroger. Nor were the Totino pizza rolls. I did find the snackers smaller size bags at Publix for $2.99 less the $1 coupon for $1.99.

      • Firgodes7

I live in Georgia, and the snackers are not one sale.

    • hannah

FYI you can print more than just two coupons on the Banquet

    • Dtcox

went today got more items  to stock up on and use later ,got 84.83 for 38.91 54 percent great  thank you jenny

    • gina

Qick question.  If a Q has “redeem at Publix” but it is a MQ then can it be used at a Kroger store?  A lot of the Qs on clipping services state that “says redeem at Publix but IS a MQ” I dont have a Publix in my state–wish I did though.

      • christy

I'd like to know about the Publix coupons as well.  We don't; have a Publix here either but I visited one on vacation and it was great…now I have coupons from there that I would like to use at Kroger if possible.  they begin with a “5”?

        • Robin

I am in East Tennessee and my Kroger will not accept Q's from other stores even if they are MQ's

          • aj

Walgreens in crossville tn will not take a manuf q catalina because it says redeem at kroger.

          • Shenna

That isn't cool! ;( Shame on Kroger

      • Jennifer

If it is a MQ then you can use it at any store. Hope this helps!

        • gina

Thanks! I'll give it a try.

      • Shenna

I have used Q's that said “Redeem at Publix” at other stores, they may look at it a little funny but I just remind them that IT IS IN FACT a manu. and they don't give me any probs!

    • Aj

how do u get the printable coupons to print?  i have clicked on them and it takes me to that site but i can not find any coupons. help please

      • Guest

that means the coupon has run out of prints

    • Niccicola

I noticed people abbreviating coupon as “Q”. does that mean you pronounce coupon as “q-pon”? Because I say it more like “coo-pon”

      • Dianne

You can use either pronunciation. “You say 'toe-may-tah', I say, 'toe-mah-tah'”, Let's call the whole thing off…” Popular song from the 1940s-50s. Or, in my case, I say pah-cahns, drives me crazy to hear pee-cans! :)

        • Bee

As long as I know what someone refers to, the pronunciations don't mean much to me. My mother-in-law will correct a person in a heartbeat if the pronunciation is not the one she uses.

          • gardengirl

We must be SIL's because so does mine.

      • Efranks41

I'm not a teacher, but Dictionary dot com says “koo pon”. I also abbreviate as “Q” but I sure don't pronounce it with a q!

    • Mirwhite1

What product code are you using for the banquet entrees?

      • gina

I think you can use 63829897 or 29749454 and if I not mistaken you can print 20 Qs.

        • Mirwhite1

          Thanks

    • Bajmmd

my SS 6/5 does not have the coupon for mayfield icecream. I buy the Atlanta Journal in the Braselton area. Which paper had this coupon? It is very frustrating!

      • Benjamietaylor

        knox news sent has it

    • angel

ok this is my 2nd week doing this I am still a little confused on some items if it says it is .99 and then a .40/2 makes it .59 do I need 2 coupons for that or does it double how does it make it .59

      • Jelewi29

you will have to buy 2 items and it will be a 1.18 after you use the coupon and you divide 1.18 by 2 will make the item .59 each

    • akmilly

My Kroger (Huntsville, AL) would NOT allow me to use the B1G1 coupon in conjunction with one 2.00 off coupon for the Oral B toothbrushes. =(

      • Shenna

        Sad! ;(

      • Jamiep09

Mine neither!!!  They said please don't rust those silly sites…I was not happy when I left.

    • mbess

I am new to the coupon world.  I was wondering if anyone could tell me if and where I might be able to get PG, RP, and SS coupons from past dates.  Are they still available somewhere that I could print them off?  Obviously, since I am new, I do not have them saved up and would really like to find them somewhere!

      • Shenna

Unfortunately I don't think there is any way, besides buying them from ebay..personally don't like that approach because you are trying to save money lol ;D If you are looking to get a certain coupon, someone may be willing to trade with you. Jenny has a link for coupon traders at the bottom of this page

        • mbess

          thank you!

          • Shenna

            Very welcome! ;)

      • Marcnmoni

If there is a particular coupon i'm looking for i sometimes check on facebook or Jennys coupon database….and also sometimes the manufactors will have printable coupons on their websites as well

      • Egh0003

Do you have a recycling center near you? I go and “dumpster dive” in the newspaper bins! People just throw out whole sunday papers and since they are separated at the recycle center, I dont have to worry about other trash being mixed in!

    • How come some of these say FREE but don't have acorns next to them. :/

    • My hubby said the Tide will be a dollar cheaper next week on the 4 day sale.

    • Swashdawg

Kroger is getting worse and worse…..now the Mega Events are only $3 off when you buy 10, used to be $5 off. Also went in to get Honeynut Cheerios with .50 off printables, of course that is the ONLY Cheerios NOT on sale because they knew there were printable coupons out there. Kroger is activley trying to curtail couponers….I hope they see it in the bottom line.

      • Mystorei415

They do different Mega events all the time, Some are $5 and some are $3. They will still do the $5. They just rotate them.

    • Rfarmer5125

My kroger, knoxville area, has alot of paper goods on clearnace, like party napkin.47, plate.74 and plastic tableclothes.74

    • EbonyB

Hi all, just wanted to do an FYI! Went to the Kroger at North Pointe in Durham, NC for the first and last time last weekend and was basically targeted for having coupons. As I was shopping, I found some Oscar Myers lunchables with the fruit. It was on manager's special for $1.79…well I got 2 because I had the $1 off coupons. I went through self checkout. After I checked all my items out, I counted my coupons again just to make sure I had them all and noticed the cashier out the corner of my eye step in the aisle and watch me. She then took my coupons and proceeded to go over my order on her screen with a fine tooth comb…came to the lunchables and said the computer rejected it! Ummmm…why? She says coupons don't work on manager's specials. Since when? They just don't, I'll get the manager.  Manager comes and I show him that it doesn't say anything about that in the coupon policy. He says we have the right to not accept any coupon. What?! By the way, my friend 2 aisles away had the same lunchables and it scanned just fine. I told him that I would never come back. He just shrugged and walked off. WOW…the cashier also came and looked to see if I really had the right count of wipes to match my coupon. Whatever, lady!

      Beware…

      • KayBee

Call Corporate. THAT will get things straightened out! I did when I had problems out of them and they put a $5 credit on my card for my troubles, PLUS when I walk in my Kroger now, they do everything possible to please me! LOL!

      • Grayhawg

I was also told coupons are accepted on manager's special, =(

        • Grayhawg

          are “not” accepted-sorry

    • Srsturge

when i click the banquet link it flashes the site to get coupons and then automatically goes to the hunger page…anyone else have this problem?

      • Sue

I think I just found out when I went to the site on Facebook.  You have to enter product codes from packages you've already purchased to get coupons!!!  Hope it helps!!!

      • Natashadelancey

63829897  thats the code I used

    • Hojo76

I don't know if it has already been mentioned so just in case. Our ad starts on Wednesday, so I'm just going today. I bought the Cottonelle, and it printed a Catalina. Between 7/8 & 7/31, buy 2 get $3.50, buy 3 get $4.50 off your next trip. It was perfect because I didn't already have a coupon. That's a pretty good price for TP! Thanks for all you do!

      too. Happy shopping!

Perhaps a silly question, but I can't find the answer anywhere else.  For the buy 10, save $3 – do all 10 products have to be the same or can you mix and match from within the list of those included in the promotion?

      • You can mix and match.
I put my items into my reusable shopping bags as I shop, in groups of 10 so I can easily keep track.

        • Martha Thomas

          Great idea, thank you!!

    • Nashjessica

Can you get the $3 off 10 items more than once in a single transaction? I could easily get 20 of these items. Would I get $6 off or would I need to run a separate transaction?

The Gentine's (Louis & Michele) of Elkhart Lake donated $20,000 to the campaigns of Wisconsin's Temporary Governor Scott Walker – earning Sargento Inc. a place on the Boycott List. Be sure to keep them and everyone else on the internet informed about the need to boycott Sargento Inc and let them know Wisconsin is CLOSED for this business.

Louis and Michele Gentine, owners of Plymouth-based Sargento Cheese, each donated $1,000 apiece to Republican recall candidates Sen. Robert Cowles (R-Allouez), Sen. Luther Olsen (R-Ripon), Sen. Dan Kapanke (R-La Crosse), Sen. Alberta Darling (R-River Hills), Sen. Randy Hopper (R-Fond du Lac) and Sen. Sheila Harsdorf (R-River Falls) over a six-day period in June. Within that time period, recall challengers Rep. John Nygren (R-Marinette) — who fell two signatures short of the ballot — and Kim Simac also each received $2,000 from the Gentines.
