Anyone else wish they had Purell in the back to school mega event?

      • Carebearandrea

If you have a Menards near you, you can get some for free after mail in rebate.  It is a generic kind, limit 5 per house hold.

    • Mrscori2006

I don't mean to sound like a conspiracy therorist, but I swear that companies are changing coupons because so many people are doing it now.Just a few months ago coupons for Brawny paper towels were .50/1 instead of $1/2, now it won't double to a dollar on each package and the maximum is 50 cents off. It seems like companies are requiring us to buy two or three just to get a dollar off. When you divide it up, it's really only 33 cents off each. That's not much!

      • Melodie Leathers

I also noticed that the newspaper coupon values are now commonly 55 cents instead of 50. . .so no doubling.

        • Wendy

I hate that the 55 cent coupons aren't as good as 50 cents for most of you guys, but here in the Kroger Delta region they double up to & including 60 cents, so 55 cent coupons are wonderful!

        • Nikki Clark

          Bi-Lo doubles up to 60 cents…

          • CG

            No bi-lo in metro atlanta.

      • Angela

They are probably changing their policies to make more sales. They are a business and I guess they plan on people stockpiling.

      • Anonymous

I did hear that stores and manufacturers ARE changing thier policies and coupons because so many people are taking advantage of the system.  Publix in Savannah GA has a very short list of competitor coupons they will accept now and I have seen coupons lowering thier face values and issuing more .55 cent coupons as well as $1/2, etc.  It is not a conspiracy though.  It is because coupons and accepting coupons is a calculated risk of how many will redeem the coupon and buy other products that were not on sale and do not have coupons.  It is the same as store that uses loss leaders to get people in the store so they will buy other things as well to make up the difference.  If they cannot turn a profit, then neither can we (save lots of $).

I wonder if the Motts juice includes the new Motts Tots juice. . .vocal point coupon of $1, I think. . .

      • Christipie

Motts for tots isn't new.  I used it for my daughter when she was 1 and she is almost 5.  It is usually included tho.

    • Autumnnmicheal

Is anyone else having trouble finding the $5 off 5 Kellogs cereal?  I can't find it anywhere!

      • Jcwiakala_44

That coupon reached it's print limit a long time ago.

      • Angela

Those coupons went really fast and I think are no longer available

      • Zee

head over to dollar general, they have $3/3 near the cereal aisle, get this, they don't expire until DECEMBER

        • Teresa

Are these coupons for Dollar General only? I seen these at my store, but they didn't say manufacturer's and they don't have the same kind of bar code most coupons have. If these will work at Kroger, that would be awesome!!

          • Holly

I used a coupon that said “Redeem at Dollar General” today at Rite Aid. So long as it's a manufacturer's coupon beginning with 5 or 9, it should be accepted at Kroger or anywhere else.

    • Chaunceydog

Can anyone help explain the Mega Sale concept?  My local Albertson's has been having “Mega Sale”s in their last 3 ads.  I Don't know how to capitalize on the savings, because this is something brand new that they've never done before.

      • Sofia

If you buy 10 items included in the Mega event, you get $5 off. You can mix and match any of the items. And you must buy 10 to get the $5 off. So if you buy 15 you will only get $5, not $7.50. If you buy 20 you will get $10 off and so forth.

The prices Jenny has listed already shows the $0.50 off each item, as shown in the weekly Kroger ad.

    • G.Stew

just bring back your receipt. more stores will give you the difference.

    • Amber

Does anyone know if the Shell gift card is one of the participating ones for 4x fuel points? If so, you can get a $50 gift card, get 200 points, then go outside and fill up for $2 off per gallon.

      • Amber

oops…20 cents off per gallon, not $2. That would be too good to be true!

      • Chana

I would love to know the answer to this. Thanks.

    • Kim

Regarding peelies, I have found that stores in our area are not accepting them if they are not attached to the item when you get to the register.  I bought an item at Riteaid and had taken the peelie off so that I wouldn't forget to use it.  Fortunately they could see where I had taken it off the package and still honored it.     Hopefully this will keep people from taking them, but it also is a little frustrating if you have a better paper coupon and then are unable to use the peelie later.     I am thankful for the honesty factor though.  It benefits everyone that way.

      • Ipreferpublix

Well, Rite Aid is different, because they have the freshness program- only specific items have the yellow peelies, and can only be used on THOSE products because the peelies are there due to them being close to expiration. These specifc peelies do state “only valid if removed by cashier”

If that wording is on there, then I wouldn't remove it. Otherwise, it should be accepted.

        • beki

I should have read this before I replied.  My peelies were manufacturers that were very well stuck to the product.

      • beki

I wonder what stores are doing this?  I bought 2 items last week at Rite-Aid and Publix that I didn't used the peelies on the products because my paper coupons were better.  I do keep the peelies to use at a later date though. Interested to see if I'll ever be able to use them.

        • Same thing, last week at Publix I bought stayfree with the B1G1 coupon, but there was a peelie on each package that I plan to use at future date. I earned the Peelie by buying the product, if they refuse to take it there will be a big problem!!

        • CG

I do this all the time. I also have run into someone who works for a food product's company who was at the store putting peelies on her company's products. Very professional, business attire and she obviously called some shots.
When she saw me with my coupons, she offered to give me some peelies for free, just as a nice gesture. I have heard of this happening before. I was able to use all the peelies at a later date when I found a good matchup. Now if someone enies me being able to use them, I would be so peeved!

          • Anonymous

Unfortunately it is the GREEDY ones buying up everything in the store that is ruining it for everyone…you know…the same ones taking the peelies off items without running into a food merchandizer like you were so lucky to do.  It is sad a few dishonest people ruin it for folks like you and me!

      • CG

I hope they don't do this at Kroger os Publix anytime soon. While I can understand the point behind it, it isn't fair in a situation like I have sometimes: There have been several times in the last few months when I go to purchase something and have a $1/1 coupon (for example) in hand that I clipped from a paper or the internet. When I go to buy the item, it might have a peelie for $1/2 or something. Well, since I want to use the better coupon I already have, I just save the peelie for a later date. Then in a month or two when I need the product again but the only coupon I have is the peelie I saved, I can use it and still get a pretty decent deal.

        • 3GAKids1521

So, wait a second. What do you hope they don't do again.  I think I missed something in that.

          • CG

She was saying that Rite Aid was not letting her use old peelies that she saved on an item she was buying– that the store said the peelie had to be ON the item at checkout or they would not accept it (apparently because some people take lots of peelies for products they aren't buying). I was saying that I hope that doesn't become true at Kroger or Publix because I often save peelies for future use when I already have a coupon I'm using that day.

            • couponistas

I hope it does not spread to where I live either, because I do the same thing! && If I am using it on that purchase, ususally if I don't peal it off when I get the item off the shelf I forget & find that majority of cashiers NEVER look & take them off for you to use.

      • Zee

Oh, that's what peelies are?! lol. When I posted (if this is in regards to my earlier post about the 3/3 kelloggs) I mean that they have the kind that are stuck to a display with a cardboard backing, I found it on an end cap at dollar general. They are a different kind of q, they don't start with a 5, but I used them today at cvs to top off my gas card deal with no problem. They have a dollar general logo, but that can be cut off with no harm to the q

      • Hasims

Several stores around here, especially the local gas stations, have had to start keeping the peelies on the roll at the register, as well as tear pads, because of people swiping so many of them.  The girl at our local gas station told me that they put a .50/1 Simply Orange q tearpad out and all 50 or so q’s had been taken by one or 2 people within an hour.  So now they keep them up front and only give them to you if you buy the item they are for.  Greedy people are ruining it for everyone.

    • mamacita

can anyone help me find the vans waffle coupon?  I click on the link provided but I don't see the coupon listed.

    • Mel

Not very many acorns for a Mega Event.  I was hoping for more.

      • Struckdeals

There might be more.  The ad doesn't always list them all but Jenny will go through the store and post all of the deals Sunday night.

    • Calpurnia78

isnt there a pop tart coupon around that isnt expired?

      • Kristinamf09

Yes, Save $1 on 3 Kellogg's Pop-Tarts toaster pastries and/or mini crisps. Mine expires 9/18/2011

    • Jessica

Just want to let everyone know that Krogers has changed their coupon policy. You can only get 5 of the same items and coupons in a order. I dont know if this is just at my Krogers in Johnson City, TN or everywhere. :(

      • I just bought 8 colgate toothpaste, near Atlanta, they do not have limit of 5.

      • Maria J

Im in middle TN and just got 10 toothpaste with no problem, hope it doesnt spread this way.

        • Ervin4

Cookeville Tn Kroger limits 3 coupons…

        • Guest

II'll probably get cyber-yelled at for asking because “its none of my business”, but I'm just curious as to why 10? Toothpaste is one of those things that goes on sale literally every week. If three people come in and take 10, pretty much the whole shelf is gone.

          • Christipie

I dont get it either!  They might as well give tooth paste away.  Its always on sale and a tube lasts forever.  Dont know why anyone needs to buy 10 at once inless you have 30 kids!

      • Dtcox

not in va yet but the cashiers said they had got a fax from corp saying changes are coming soon . hope for the better

      • Christi

at my store in York, VA we are only aloud to use 3 like coupons in a day…they wont even let us break up transactions any more to use more coupons!

        • Christipie

I think its a good thing!  I see ppl buying 15 things of tooth paste and then I dont get any!!

      • jessc5

Which one…Sunset or State of Franklin??  (I'm “Jess in JC, too!)

        • Jessica

State of Franklin store. I am going to see about the one on sunset. The most I ever ge it may be 9 on the high side. Never no more than that. Just takes one person to ruin it for everyone.

        • lparks

          I'm in JC!

      • momto2

That must be a recent change. I am also in Johnson City.  It was just a few days ago that I bought several of the crest toothpaste.

        • Jessica

I know I got several Cologate toothpaste on tuesday or wednesday and no problem. But the cashier advised me today. I hate the people that are making it hard on the rest of us. She told me the reason was cause of people coming in buying 23 toothpaste and toothbrushes. Not fair.

      • Mommyshortstuff

I'm in Kingsport and haven't heard anything on limits. I purchased 5 of the ivory soaps a little over a week ago and didn't have any issues. Of course it could've changed since then.

      • Berries_red

I used 13 coupons on the Colgate last week. Not a problem in southern Indiana. And I get what I can because I buy for family. I guess i could make 80+ yr old ladies go to the store with me just so they can scan the coupons. and all these free items are going to make for a fun Christmas this year.

    • Sherryledford

Jenny, are you going to be able to do the unadvertised deals tomorrow?  I missed out on some deals from this week due to a migraine – couldn't get there – so I need some other great deals this week, and so far, I don't see 10 mega items I want or need. Thanks for everything you do!!!

      • I am going to make it this week!  Look for them later tomorrow night.

    • Bhcheers13

I can't figure out the healthy choice/Marie callender coups.. It takes me to feed America site but can't get to the coupons

      • Rrbarr

You have to have a coupon code from one of their products to type into the search box.  Ask someone on this blog for one and they usually provide it for you.

      • guest

Possible codes for this are 63829897 or 29749454.  This site reset for me so I was able to get more coupons after — I'm thinking 30 days?–.  Hope this helps.

        • Bhcheers13

thx SO much, it worked! this is my first time couponing, im excited to go grocery shopping!

          • guest

    • CG

Does anyone know what gift cards are included in the 4x points? Thanks!

No Vans coupons but that's ok – I found a few other good ones from that site:)  Thanks!

    • Dtcox

didnt shop much at kroger this week have been  useing my stock up and a lot out of garden love saving for one week might go get a few megas this weekhappy shopping]]]]]

    • mommyof1

There are no more coupons available on the Milo's Kitchen site. I signed up and everything, but they must be out. I actually emailed the company about this. The form for the coupons still work, but when you go to print, there are no more.. it looks like they would remove these options.  This is on the del monte site by the way.

    • mommyof1

This is probably going to be a mean comment.. so i do apologize if i offend anyone.. but with so many buying so many toothpastes, no wonder there are rarely any left. Maybe your store has a stock pile – but my kroger is usually out. Plus, my kroger is the only one within 45 minutes of us.. I do kind of wish there were limits in these cases.. while SOME stores have large quanities of items, some do not.. and it would be nice to get an overall limit, at least to give those of us who only want 1 a chance.  Maybe just a limit on coupons with the item.. If you limit the coupon to 4.. people are probably not going to buy that item without a coupon.. therefore, eliminating some of the problem

I agree :) So what I do is get a raincheck  for the product and then I can go and get it within the next 30 days. Because after a week  or so they will have it in stock again. It lways works for me .

        • guest

I agree!  If something is wiped out I get a raincheck for it.  That's the only way I have been able to get the General Mills cereal, Beggin Strips and Crest toothpaste in the last 2 weeks.

          • Anonymous

I agree too!  Employees at both Kroger and Publix tell me everytime I come in that there are a few locals who have gone literally insane buying entire pallets of cereal (Publix) and wiping out the store's entire stock of canned goods (Kroger) IN ONE TRANSACTION!  How can someone like me who works full-time save on what I NEED – not want – with such insane buying!  One clerk told me of a lady who bragged to her that an entire room of their house was filled with shelves to the ceiling of nothing but “groceries”.  It is their “pantry”…and all I want is enough groceries to last until they go on sale again!  It really makes me angry.  I am glad they are saving $ but I don't like the GREED.

            • Seeallmycoupons

my publix told me that it is their policy to limit sale items to 10 per customer per day…i think this limit is MORE than fair..you should maybe talk to the district manager in your area about implementing this policy! hope this helps.

            • Vee

Someone around here gets all the 99-cent Dole pineapple whenever it goes on sale.  I despise you, whoever you are.  :-)

            • pdsmama

My wal mart has it for 99 cents, or is it the del monte I am thinking of?

            • Guest

you know they are re-selling those, too. Probably at a flea market

            • Mary Shell Hughes

It's not greed … it's fear.  With our gov't heading us toward, at minimum, a very bleak economic situation, and at worst – well, the nearly unthinkable – everyone is stocking up on food, clothes, ammunition, etc.  Folks are stockpiling all the necessities, so in the worst case, they can feed their family, and hopefully help some family, friends, or neighbors who are not prepared for what's coming.

          • Patty

all well and good with a rain check, but if I have a coupon that runs out before next week I can't use it.  So I don't get the best deal.

            • Rachel

my kroger will write “honor coupon” on the rain check if I explain the coupon is expiring soon. doesn't hurt to ask.

        • Vee

Rain checks don't work on mega event savings unless you buy 10 when you come back with the rain check.  I wanted one jar of 50-cent Chi Chi's salsa, but didn't want to have to come back and buy 10.  I agree that there should be limits.

          • Alyssa

I think that depends on youe store. I have gotten a raincheck on mega event items before at my store. Of course at that time I needed to buy my 10 items to get the $ off. But I was given a raincheck for the items I wanted at the mega event price even if I only wanted two, and was able to go back and get them when they were in stock. So  it might help to check with your store.

      • Christipie

I totally agree!!  I cant be at the store the hour that they open just to get the sales!  I have missed out on so many b/c of it.  Rain checks work sometimes but not always!

      • Seeallmycoupons

i personally spoke with a kroger co-manager last week about some issues that i had…she mentioned to me that if i called the store before 3 on sunday that they would be able to order any items for me and usually have them the next day or two…you may want to call your local kroger and see if they offer this serive..she said they do this to keep from pp who want a large quantity from cleaning off the shelves..hope this helps :)

      • Guest

that's why I started price-matching at Wal mart. It has saved me a ton of stress and frustration. If there is a Wal mart near you I would give it a try. Because they are such a large store they are rarely out of stock.

    • Teresa

the 4 day sale on half gallon milk in the Knoxville ad is 3 for $5 not really a good deal unless they have raised the gallon price because last week I paid 3.29 a gallon and this comes out to be 3.33 a gallon

    • MelodyAM75

My Kroger's sales run from Wednesday to Tuesday. Would the ads you list be the next one that will come out in my area? I am in Laurel, MS. We are still having the same Mega Event we had last week. Will the new Mega Event be coming to us this coming Wednesday or are my ads entirely different?

      • Sbpenn

I live in Tupelo – this ad will start on Wed. for us.

        • Melodyam75

Thanks for the reply.  That helps to know that for sure so I can plan early.

    • Guest

There is a 50c Enviro Kids coupon in the August All You magazine.

      • Rlbd2001

Where do I find the All You magazines?! Thx

        • Amfkirkpatrick

          WALMART

    • guest

I bought 5  of the Kleenex on-the-go 3 packs priced at 99 cents.  Used 5 of the PG 25 cent Qs for Kleenex 3 packs and got 5 for 50 cents each.  Love it when I can use the small face value PG coupons!

      • Shennasface

Wow! I will have to get that deal too! Thanks for sharing!

    • Pbconner

How can we find out which gift cards are participating in the 4X fuel promotioon?

      • angie c

I think it is any of the gift cards that they sale.  I purchased several when the last promo ran and there were no stipulations then.  This is a great time to stock up on gift cards for birthdays or teacher gifts or purchase cards for restaurants or stores that you shop at anyway and get the fuel points.

    • TINA

Just wondering……. I only want to buy 2 or 3 items sale items for personnel use but  I have witnessed some people wipe the shelves the first hour of the sale. Later to see them selling these items at a yard sale. Isn't this against the law? My city is a smaller community and our stores only stock minimal quantities of sale items.

      • Mommyshortstuff

I don't see how it's against the law because they are legally purchasing them. Unless the coupon specifies a certain number of coupons per transaction, etc. It's rude but legal.

      • Lynnettewatts1

Tina, with the economy as bad as it is, people are doing almost anything to make an “honest” dollar.  They haven't broken the law by buying the products with coupons, and they certainly aren't breaking the law by selling them at a discount to people to need the items.

      • Annetteatmsu

This is happening in my community to, they wipe the shelves and then the store will not restock.  I only wanted two of one item, On a Monday someone came in and took 100, so the store didn't restock it and wouldn't give rain checks.  It may not be against the law but it is morally wrong.  Everybody should have the chance to get one or two free items.

        • Zee

it actually IS against the law. Coupons state ” Coupons not authorized if purchasing for resale” You aren't supposed to be doing that. I just hope they know what they are doing and don't get themselves into more trouble than its worth, because I'm sure it's elderly or people who obviously need it to make a living.

        • Dan

Unless something is advertised as “limited quantities” I think the store must give a rain check.  Otherwise they can be accused of false advertising.  Double check to see if the item was listed in the store add–if so demand a rain check.  If it is an 'unadvertised' item they don't have to give a rain check because the sale was never advertised.

        • Guest

If the person wants to buy that many, the store should make them pre-order.

      • Melissa

It seems to me they are making their yard sales more of a business, so they are breaking the law in that they should have a business license and be paying taxes, etc. If you see people selling that stuff at yard sales, you should report them.

      • Missriza

Although, reporting may be one answer; this is a symptom of a bigger problem. I think we should give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they are in financial need. It's best for us to be cheerful couponers and agree with guest that they should pre-order their bulk purchases.

    • Gawrysiaks

I can't find a suave coupon ANYWHERE! my replum booklet doesn't have one and neither does the redplum website! Where is it!?

      • Carmifamily

What area are you in?  My redplum has them and I am in the Atl area.

    • Amanda_brooke_08

Does anybody know of the suave professionals is part of the maga event?

      • Heather

I would like to know this also. Thanks in advance

        • daisysmom

Suave Professionals were not incuded in Mega event at my store – Murfreesboro TN

    • Thanks Jenny!! Please be sure to post your comment at Bringbackdoubles dot com. Kroger is changing coupon limits over night in many stores and Houston lost their double coupons. We want to prevent un-friendly coupon policies from spreading nationwide. Thanks!!

    • Kjt8305

louisville area, Bic pens are free at ValuMarket with the 1.00/2 coupon, also extra Education box tops for your school with the extra portion of the coupon. Ragu sauce 2/3.00 coupon 40.2 makes them $1.10 cents each.

    • Heather

At My Kroger In Knoxville, Tn they have the spaghetti O's on sale for $0.29 instead of $0.49! Using the $0.50/5 coupon (which doubles to $1), I will be getting each can for $0.09! Score! :D

    • Hanna

At my store (Sparta tn) the only suave products on the mega event were the plain ones. No kids, men, or professionals so the coupons didn't match. I did get deodorant for 6 cents though!

      • Coco

Hanna, if you don't mind me asking, how did you get deodorant for $.06? Thanks!

        • Hanna

The red plum today had .50 off suave deodorant. The 1.4 oz sticks were 1.06 on sale. The coupon doubled. Great unexpected deal!

          • Coco

Fantastic! I'm going to check my Kroger in a little bit. Thank you!

      • Freestuff4cb

My Kroger in VA had the Kids Smurfs Suave on closeout for .99

      • brisim18

wow another sparta qponer nice job

    • Cmt Mom

Got the Milo treats today , bought 2 got 1 oyn cat

    • sarahcas

There is a $1/1 1.5 qt carton of Mayfield ice cream on their facebook page if you click on the Taste-a-palooza link on the side. You have to click your area and it may not be in all the areas, but the coupon I printed specifically said it was for Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Atlanta areas, which obviously would include a lot of people.

    • Michelle

When I shopped at Kroger yesterday, my receipt showed 10% off of all of the Kroger brand products that I bought. Is that a new, ongoing thing, or was it just a special promotion going on last week? Does anyone know?

    • Honeysmith

The snackwells are included in the sale for $1.99 and there are couposn on their website. Good for school or work lunches.

    • Pchavercamp

Are the mega event sale items regional by any chance?  I was at Kroger this morning and many of the items listed as on sale (spaghettiOs, hormel compleats, pop tarts, etc.) were not on sales and actually much higher than the price you've listed.  I'm in Michigan and am wondering if I need to look at ads applicable to my region.

      • Silverqueen09

I'm in SE Michigan, Pchavercamp, and our sales for Kroger in the Great Lakes Region start on Monday, not Sunday as in the south.  The mega event items should be consistent throughout the country, but the dates the sale starts vary from region to region :)

      • Freestuff4cb

I'm in VA and when I went on Sun afternoon, they still hadn't changed the shelf tags for things that were in the ad.

        • JLo

I have purchased items that were not updated: Kroger is the best in this scenario.  If you pay the wrong price the first item wrong is free and any others you purchased are half price.  Publix does this as well…. but I'm never worried anymore if it's not listed right.

      • Christipie

Look at the ad for your area.  Kroget is the worst about not updating shelf tags.  I carry one around with me.

      • Kathi

I'm not sure what area you're in, but our ad doesn't start until Mon (tomorrow)

    • Andreapierpoint

FYI – I went to kroger and the suave men's and children's shampoos for which there are coupons are not included in the 10 for 10 deal. Only the regular suave. The suave men's were on sale, though $1.95, so with the coupon it comes out to abt $1.50 each.

    • Supersaver281

I am in Houston. Uggghhhhh, no doubles and triples on coupons anymore. Very few good deals here at Kroger. I have been using my small stockpile and shopping a few other stores. Even finding myself buying milk and some groceries at CVS and Wags. I hope this is not the future for all Krogers!! I just spread my money around a little more and Kroger gets very little of it.

The greed of the coupons is what has done it I beleive. I have used coupons faithfully for 30 years. I raised my family using coupons. I can't even imagine how much I have saved. Alway just enough to fill the pantry and take care of my family. Now I see many people using coupons in an extreme way. My Wags and CVS have even started putting the newspapers papers behind the counters because people are stealing the coupons out of the papers. I mean really!!! I can't beleive it. Greed,  isn't that one of the seven sins? Oh my gosh!!

    • Kpdeavers

I also got 10%  off Kroger brands on Saturday – in Atlanta Suburb. Not sure if that was just a special thing yesterday either, but it was a nice surprise.

      • Guest

Which area? I'm Southeast Atl. and just wondering….

    • Christipie

Does anyone know if Motts for Tots is included?  There is a coupon for it if so.

      • Amber

Yes. Mots for tots is included

        • Christipie

Thanks.  There is a coupon for it.  I posted a link but it said it must be approved so im assuming it will show up later.  Its a bricks coupon.

    • H_ginger

Question? If u have a coupon that says save 50 cents on five…does that mean buy 5 and save 50 cents or save 50 cents on each one?

      • gardengirl

It means buy 5 and save 50 cents.  My Kroger doubles coupons so if yours does then it would really be buy 5 and save 1.00.

      • Jessica Swicegood

I'm pretty sure its .50 off when you buy all five

    • Blackcouponer

Okay I'm new to this (2 weeks in) so I thought this was a savings. Kroger in Raleigh, NC they have 2 bar Dial soap for .88 cents I used my .35/1 for bar dial soap which doubled because it was under 50 cents, and got them for .18 cents for 2 bars. Is that good?

      • pdsmama

        yes!

    • Diz

Jenny, thanks for the heads up on the extra fuel points for gift cards!  Since I buy a lot for Christmas presents, I think I'll do my Christmas shopping early!

Also, a question:  it looks like Kroger gift cards are included in the extra fuel points offer.  So can I buy Kroger cards, get the extra points, then turn around and use the cards and get the regular points for the amount I spent?

      • The Kroger GC are excluded from the fuel  points offer – be sure and read the fine print.  Ralph's ended double coupons in 2006 – Kroger ended Houstons double coupons in April. I saw this past week Mid-Atlantic region went from a 10 like limit now to 5 like limit over night. When at Kroger I mentioned the word coupon in trying to help a Kroger employee save  – and got glares from a Kroger manager. When did coupon become a dirty word???  If you want to keep affordable groceries please leave a comment at ++ Bringbackdoubles dot com. Prices will keep going up not down!! Thanks.

        • Diz

Thanks for the info.  I was looking at the online ad which doesn't show ANY detail or fine print, but includes the kroger cards in the list.  Oh well, still a good deal if you buy gift cards as presents for Christmas.

        • Pawsma

Mid-Atlantic Krogers have not been 10 or 5 in my area. It has been & is only 2 like items!!!!

    • Frances

After someone goes to Kroger, could they let us know if the Chi Chi tortilla shells are on sale?  I have a bunch of coupons for them and plan to buy several salsas.  THANKS!

      • Julesm4jesus

        They are 3/$5

        • Frances

Thanks a bunch!  When you say they are $3/5, are they included in the mega sale?  If so, is the $3/5 price before or after the .50/item is subtracted?

By the way, I love your screen name!

    • Sknygurl022002

my mom just ran to a kroger here in ohio, and the suave kids is NOT on sale.  it is just the basic bottles of suave and the dial soap is bar ONLY NOT  the liquid

      • Sknygurl022002

ok, so the liquid IS on sale they just havent changed the tags, but dissapointed about the kids shampoo!  i have 3 kids and wanted to stock up :(

      • Katkoupon

Dial liquid soap was 88c at my store as well.

      • Luckluckydog

Just got my Dial hand soap 7.5 oz for 18 cents .Bar soap available your choice.

    • Kristan

Does anybody out there have any of the $.50/1 Old El Paso product coupons?
I don't have any of them.  Would anybody want to share or trade?  Thanks
      kristanjeancrass@gmail.com

    • laceysmom

When I shopped at Kroger yesterday, none of my coupons doubled so I called the store and asked why.  I was told that printable coupons like you print at home do not double…only the ones you cut out of the coupon flyers.  Is this true?

      • Sha08

That's not true unless it's different for your area but my internet prints always double.

        • Dtcox

mine too in v a but they told me last week they are new policys coming soon on coupons  cause of so much fraud now .

          • Christipie

I have had problems with some of my coupons doubling at Kroger.  I usually just have customer service refund the item.  Kroger dont have it together at all.

      • Pawsma

They won't even take the printable coupons here in VA. Is this right?

        • robin

They wont even take them here in Augusta ga, It’s not right

        • Lynchburg Beth

They take them in Lynchburg, VA.

        • Lynchburg Beth

They take them in Lynchburg, VA.

    • laceysmom

i thought my internet printables always doubled too.  all were for 50 cents.  i emailed someone at the kroger corporate offices.  not that it's a big deal.  it only amounts to like 1.50 but i'd like to know for future reference.

    • hottietottie

has anyone ever had any experience with using paper coupons and ecoupons together?  they say it can't be done but i have had it work before on some items…not all but some.  the ecoupon comes off when they scan my kroger card and then they also accept my paper coupon.

      • Sknygurl022002

certain regions are allowing you to stack paper and e-coupons.  in other regions, its at the stores discretion.

      • Dtcox

in va they say its up to the companys

      • Christipie

I always have the cashier scan my coupons before I use my card.  Some of the ecoupons will still come off.  If you do it the other way tho, it dont work.

        • 1bigsaver

If they scan your coupons before your card, the coupons that should double won't.  I had this happen once which is how I figured that one out

          • hottietottie

ooohhhh….i had this problem the other day and the girl DID scan my coupons first, then my card.  none of my coupons doubled.  thanks for the info!!

            • Ceyaweya

This happened to me tonight too. Lesson learned.

I only go to kroger for meat and seafood and do the rest of my grocery at Publix. Publix is all about customer service and I'm willing to pay a little more for some of the stuff after saving a bunch off the bogo items. Kroger is taking a different path, the same one walmart is on…

    • Have a quick question I bought 5 cans of Spaghettios yesterday and they were at 1.49 with .10 off.  I did use the coupon and got them for 1.29 but was that some type of typo saying they would be .29? I am brand new to couponing so I am just trying to figure out if I did this wrong?

Also I receive coupons from Kroger are you not able to use them and a manufacturer coupon? They would only let me use 1 for each item even though it wasnt the same coupon.

      • Scarff3

That means they will be that much each, not together, but you would have gotten them for around .26 each. :)

      • Dtcox

in va add they are .49 each if you buy 10 megas this week

      • Lauren Leimone

You had to buy ten of them to get them for .49.  Kroger coupons are manufactor coupons so you cant use it with a regular coupon

      • crazcampers

My ad states they are the meatless variety.  Did you get meatless?

    • savingmoney11

Just FYI. Osteo bi flex is bogo. The 30 ct were 15.99 and had some of the $7 off any osteo bi flex so it was $1 each unit. Picked up 4 for $4. Also they had the dimetapp cold and sinus on clearance and w the $5 off 4 coupon made is 2.44 for all 3.

From above:  Old El Paso Taco Shells, Sauces, or Re-fried Beans 99¢

Could someone verify that .99 for the taco shells is for the 12 count?  I don't want the 10 count Stuff and stack.

Also, are the flour tortilla shells 6″, 8″ and 11″ .99?

      • Dsquared9895

the 12 count at my store were $.99, there were a 10 cnt. for $.79

Does anyone know where to get the .50/1 old elf paso coupon? It was not in my insert and I can't find it on any of the clipping sites I know of!

      • Frances

        I bought mine at E-Bay.

    • Sherry

I donated money to the children's miracle network at publix and they gave me coupons to use…and they say manufacturers coupon at the top next to the expiration date…but Kroger refused them today. It does say Publix at the bottom but not store coupon.   Are they right in doing that?  I only questioned the clerk who asked the front line manager on duty and she said the same thing but I didn't feel like they knew or were just exerting their authority.  Plus, I got each coupon scrutinized and that's never happened before…..I understood and that's the only ones they really refused but was just wondering if I had a leg to stand on.   Thanks!

      • Khjbcoupons

if the first number at the bottom is a 5 or a 9 and it says manufacturers coupons.. then yes it is in fact a manufacturers coupon. i would take it back to customer service and ask them to refund the amount due to you

        • Twgivmom

This happened to me a while back at Kroger. I called BEFORE I went in to ask if I could use the coupons, was told yes, shopped and then told I couldn't use them. Then the asst. manager on duty was so rude about it and refused to take them even after I told her I what I was told. It was TWO DOLLARS. So I left my entire order at the register, emailed corporate and was contacted a couple days later by one of the managers who gave me a $50 gift card to make up for the hassle. I am in fact not allowed to use anything with Publix on the coupon but shouldn't have been told I could. It was a manu q so I think the lady just assumed and didn't check. Each store is different – I always check when I go in with the coupon before I shop now.

      • itismedia

My Kroger (actually both in Savannah, GA) refuse to take any coupon with another store's logo. Since individual store managers make up their own “additional” rules there is not much you can do. If I KNOW it is a manufacture coupon and I can cut the logo off I do. It just makes it easier. As long as in the fine print it does't say “redeem only at Publix” I think it is fine.

      • Jsbl214

I have had the same issue at my kroger. The q came from food lion and had the emblem, but did start with a 5 and said manufacturer coupon. It was a losing battle, the clerk and manager were not going to take it. Even though I repeated several times it was a manuf. q and didn't say anything about having to use it at foodlion.

you can usually find the bristol herald courier at walmart.

    • Amy T

My Kroger had all of their summer stuff on clearance 70% off. My favorite find was 10 oz. tumblers in primary colors to go in my Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes for 24 cents.

    • Kendra

For the Suave shampoo & conditioner mega, the coupons are for the mens or kids but in the store near me the only Suave shampoo & conditioner  for .88 is the “regular” kind. You can't use the mens or kids coupons against those right?

      • LeAnn

Right, the coupons don’t match the product that is on sale. I was disappointed with that today!

    • AlexJames987380

I just p a i d $21.87 for an i P a d 2-64GB and my boyfriend loves his Panasonîc Lumîx GF 1 Camera that we got for $38.76 there arriving tomorrow by UPS.I will never pay such expensive retail prices in stores again. Especially when I also sold a 40 inch LED TV to my boss for $657 which only cost me $62.81 to buy.
Here is the website we use to get it all from,

I love how Kroger is changing their coupon policy all over the place because, “there is so much fraud now.” When just a few months ago they allowed TLC cameras into their stores to capture ON FILM the fact that they bend the rules for those ridiculous extreme weirdos!!!! I don't call them couponers because that would be an insult to all of us :)

      • Candace

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who thought those people weren't really couponing.  I've been thinking that they have to be doing something unethical to get $200 or better in free groceries.

        • hotmar1

I think they’re full of crap myself and am really irrate, because of them the stores keep changing their policies as if WE”RE the ones robbing them!!!

      • Jodi

My kroger here in augusta ga refused all my coupons, they told me”the manager” that since they were printed on line that the couldnt tell if they were fake… so they refused my whole order. I told them that there coupon policy states printables are only accepted when they scan, i wasnt given the oppurtunity.. Anyone ever had this happen? gettig to the point that i will never shop at a kroger again

        • Frances

Which store in Augusta did you go to?  I have shopped at Columbia Road and Washington Road many times and never had a problem.

    • achmomma

I have an issue with my Kroger and I haven't pressed it like I should.  They don't double my .50 cents or less coupons…EVER.  When I do ask it's like they treat me like I am being unfair and they tell me that they don't do that everyday.  I have been everyday of the week now and none of the days appear to be “that” day…so what am I missing here?

      • Tmariahh

ask for the coupon policy, it should be at the service desk…you may be able to pull it offline too. if, in writing, it states they double…talk to manager or write corporate. im having issues with Kroger as well, they have quit carrying some products that I now have to order online from amazon. grrrr

      • 4kidsformisty

kroger told me that the coupons will not double unless your kroger card is scanned first.  any items that are rung up before your card will not double.  make sure to give your card at the start of your transaction….. hope this helps.

      • Sofia

You have to scan your card like someone else mentioned. They only double coupons if you are a kroger plus card member.

    • Berries_red

Scotch moving and storage packing tape long lasting is in mega dealfor $1.99 -.50 for mega and 50 cent coupon doubled = .49

I have been holding on to that coupon forever it seems.

    • Moodyair

I can not get any coupons to print!!!  I have installed coupons.com, even have the toolbar showing.  But the coupons will still not print!!!!

      • Tammyphipps66

I had that same problem awhile back, try to install chrome google, it worked for me.

      • aria

Right click on coupons.com icon on your computer, go to properties, under compatibility there is a box says next to it “run this program in compatitibility mode for” pick your system there and hit OK.
This was the solution i did for windows 7. hope it helps.

I am confused.  I live in the Southeast region and went to Kroger today and the boneless pork loins are $2.49/ lb instead of $2.29/ lb as listed above.  Am I missing something?

      • Liz

What part of Southeast?  If it’s MS, then it’s not always included in that region’s sales for some reason….still strange to me.

        • Cathy

Yes, I’m in the Jackson, MS area and we are the “Delta Region”- sales are similar but not exactly the same…

      • Jcwiakala_44

You can always double check your prices online at Kroger’s website.  Just pull up your store’s ad and compare prices before heading out.

      • Lisagrady22

I have noticed in the ATL, GA area our prices for meat are about $.10 – $.20 more per lb than other areas

    • dkc

The St. Ives match up is not correct. The faciel scrub is on the mega event for 2.49 which is still a good price. The coupon is for body wash. The body wash is on sale for 1.99 so it is .99 each.

    • Ttomasino82

Where do I get the code for the healthy choice?

    • Gmcouponer

My kroger in tn. Has libby can veggies for .30 cents each.
      I also bought
A lot of helper last week. And didn’t get the catalina’s. This has
Happened before, when i bought V-8 juice.
      Plus today i purchased some
Nutty buddies, there was a sign in front of the cooler that said bogo
And showed the nutty buddies with the regular cartons. But after check
Out i looked at my receipt and no bogo. I also used a $1.00 off coupon
On each box. When i went to customer service they gave me my money back
On what they rang up with the coupon. So i asked for my coupons too.
      You
Can’t have them, you got your money back she said! And as i told her i got the
Sale amount after the coupon not before so i should get my coupons too,
Or give me the amount before the coupons were taken off. No, if you want the coupons
Back she said , you have to give us the money back. So i just was to a point after 10 minutes just better to leave. I was to angry to go any further with her. It was really messed up. The
Nutty buddies rang up $3.99 my $1.00 coupon made them $2.99 so they
Only gave me the $2.99 and tax back.. It was a bad day at kroger today, got
Taken for $10.00 in coupons…. But a lesson learned, non the less… i
Will watch a lot closer from now on.. Buy the wayat my store the mega sticker is not on the icing that is 99 cents. So be careful in adding your megas up. They showed up as mega in the checkout but it threw off my counts.!

      • Jess

I would call the corp office for that lady not giving u back the full amount, or your coupons, because she committed coupon fraud by not giving u back your coupons if she didnt want to give u the full amount you spent.

    • heather

does anyone know what zip to use to get the $5/5 kellogs?

      • quest

This coupon is no longer available.  It was online for about 3 hours.

      • MDC

Can you use the $5/5 and 5 coupons?

    • Chris

My closest Kroger in Smyrna, GA only had one kind of Libbys in stock and it was marked as closeout – so I think that may be where this low price is coming from.

Also, the Rice Krispie treats that are on the Mega Sale may have a $1.50/2 peelie on the front.

    • Rhonda

The Heluva Dip coupon states “NO DOUBLING ONE COUPON PER PURCHASE” … will this still make it 19 cents or are we looking at 69 cents each?

      • Coco

I purchased the dip last night with the cpn and it doubled.

    • I bought three of the Milo’s treats and got a $1 off catalina. PLUS a $1.50 off next milo’s purchase (10 oz or larger). Did anyone know about this? I made me very happy! :D

    • Sarah

How do i get the coupons for healthy choice steamers?

      • Ttomasino82

use the code 48537375. this worked for me on the one that I bought last week.

    • Chris

NOTE:  There is a new Q book at the Pharmacy counter (green cover) called Surround Yourself With Wellness.  It has all manuf Qs in it including a $1.25/1 Aquafresh Q (which I used at Publix today and was better than the $1/1 manuf Q I had printed).

    • Southerngirl30263

For the first time… I didn’t have a lot of the coupons listed as in the SS 8/07… very disappointing… lots of good deals…

    • Scarlettshasha

ok i thought i had downloaded the sunny d ecoupon that is listed but it didnt go through and now it is not on upromise anymore!!! does anyone know if there is aother site that has the sunny  ecoupon?

    • Lssh4

I have a list of the mega items and it says Zest Bar Soaps.  Does anyone know the price of this item?

    • Aria

I don’t know anybody mention this before but dial hand soaps are $.88 and there is $.35 coupon on RP 8/7 so after tripling you will have an overage. I bought 8 today and shelves has full of them.
Also, there is a $1.50 axe ecoupon on krogers web site when you combine with BOGO coupon from last week you will only $.75 each.

      • Jenny

        Does Kroger triple coupons?

        • Aria

The one I usually shop does. 10 per transaction.

      • Jenny

        Does Kroger triple coupons?

    • Mlm82lmm04

Can u use the bogo paper coupon and the 1.50 ecoupon together?

      • Frances

Most Kroger stores are not allowing a manufacturer and an e-coupon on the same item.  You should be able to use a B1G1 free and an e-coupon together unless the B1G1 free attaches to both (you are supposed to be able to tell by the UPC but I don’t remember how).  It would be better to use the B1G1 free coupon at a drugstore (if product is available) since B1G1 free at my Kroger’s rings up half price although drug stores are truly B1G1 (meaning 1 rings up at full price and second free).

IE Kroger B1G1 eggs $2.50 would ring up $1.25 so your coupon value would be worth $1.25 whereas at a drugstore, the coupon would be worth $2.50.  Hope I have not confused you!

        Worked for me

Does anyone know store equivalent to Food World, which is listed? Previously associated with Bruno chain. Thanks!

How do you know what “region” you fall into for the meat deals?

    • Wondering if anyone knows where I can get tyson any’tizers on sale?

    • Anonymous

I don’t know if this has been posted, but I got packs of ChiChi’s flour tortillas for 50 cents.  The Q from a newspaper insert (50 cents that doubled) and they are on sale for 1.50.  The ones in my store had a shelf life of November so my wraps for lunch are covered for a while.

      • Chris

Don’t forget you can freeze these as well and extend their life.  I got the Flat-Out wraps at Publix a while back and have them in my freezer still.

Glad containers (on Mega deal with printables available) at my Kroger have samples of Honey Bunches of Oats (the little mini boxes of cereal) inside. Deep dish containers have 2 boxes of cereal inside and “entree size” has one. AND each little box has a $1.25/1 coupon for Post Honey Bunches of Oats on the box. The containers with the cereal are clearly marked…

    • Ceyaweya

I found a lot of Revlon and L’Oreal makeup on clearance shelf at my Kroger and had several $1.00 off coupons that made it all free.
