It’s time for the Daytona 500 Mega Event at Kroger! This is a annual event though this year the number of participating items is smaller than in past years. I have added a number of unadvertised items that will be participating. I don’t know their prices yet, but will update this as soon as I get to the store tomorrow.

Kroger is running an instant win game for the next few weeks you can play everyday! You can only win twice per user though.

If you see any other awesome deals leave a comment or use the report button below.

      • Tennvolfamily49

Question how does this new Daytona 500 Mega Event work?  It looks like you still get in quanities of 10. Can you go over 10 and if so do you need to get it even such a 20, 30 or 40?  Will you still get the extra $2. for ever $10 you spend?  I appreciate any help.  Thanks

        • Jennifer

Typically with these sales you can get as many items as you want as long as you do it in multiples of 10. If you get 15 items, you will get your $2 for the 10, but nothing for the 5. It doesn’t have to be all the same item, you can mix and match, just do it in quantities of 10

          • Jennifer

Oh and I forgot to add, yes you will get the $2 for every 10 items you buy. You might just want to check with your store before hand to make sure there isn’t a limit of how many 10’s you can do in a transactions.

      • Mel

Participating items must be purchased in multiples of 10.  So yes, you could buy 20, 30, 40 participating items.  You don’t have to buy 10 of the same item–you can mix and match.  The $3/10 savings comes off instantly, so you’d get $6 off if you bought 20, $9 off if you bought 30 items, etc.  The $2 back for your next trip would work the same way (this is the first time they’ve done it this way).  If you buy 10 items, you’d get a coupon for $2 off your next purchase.  If you buy 20 items, the coupon would be for $4, etc.  Hope that answers your questions.  Happy shopping!

        • Barb

I’m sure it doesn’t matter, but it’s actually not the first time they’ve had this type promotion. I also believe at one point you got $3.00 off the 10 items and a $3.00 coupon instead of $2.00.

          • Mel

Really?  Hmmm.  I must have missed that one.  I do remember them doing a $3/10 thing, but I never remember getting part of it back as a catalina.  But I believe you.  Just don’t know where I was at the time.

            • Don

Mel, they did it last year for Daytona 500. Last year it was $3 now and $3 later on 10 items. It was the last 2 weeks in February last year. I think this is the best deal they have every year.

          • Brandylewis01

Yes I do remember it was about this time last year. My husband does a trip to Talladega every year and we used the 3.00 to pay for the gatoraid drinks. He would always fuss if he had to wait in line with me if I was rolling my catalinas, however since it was for him this time he didn’t mind at all.

    • mirwin888

      I won BBQ sauce!

    • Shelly

Is there a way to see a week ahead on the Kroger weekly ads on their website?  Our sales start on Wednesdays, so I’d like to see the next week’s ad starting this Wednesday that matches up with this list.  I checked their site and can only see the current ad.  Thanks for any help.

      • 1couponbug

The ad that Jenny posts on Saturday, for instance 2/12 thru 2/18 is actually our Wednesday, 2/15 thru Tuesday, 2/21. You already have a 3-day window to plan!

        • Shelly

Yeah, I know that.  What I’m asking is to see my LOCAL ads online because not all of these sales are nationwide…some are regional.  Also, there are many price variations.  So, what I’m asking is…is there anywhere you can view the online ad a week in advance?

          • Some regions will post them the day before it begins on Kroger.com.  Not all do, but maybe you’ll luck out and your region will be nice :)

            • Shelly

              Thanks so much!

      • Gmcouponer

In my area Kroger posts the sale paper on line the day before the sale after midnite. I have tried every way possible to get it earlier but my store said they don’t even get the sales paper until it arrives on the truck friday or saturday nite.

        • Shelly

          Thank you!

Just wondering if any other Kroger stores limit the number of computer generated coupons? Here in Shelbyville they only allow 3 per transaction.

      • Emmieacream2004

I live in Virginia and theres NO limit on them here…But each Kroger has there own Policy…

        • Amyleigh540

I’m in harrisonburg , va. , the internet printables are limited to 2 per day per customer and a limit of 5 like coupons per customer per transaction.

      • Guest

I had a touchy situation at my Kroger the other day.  The cashier was a developmentally challenged fellow and he kept insisting that I could only use 2 printables for my entire order.  I was trying to be as nice as I could be, but I gently insisted that he was incorrect and that it was 2 printables per item purchased.  We went back and forth on this and I finally had to ask to see the manager who he begrudgingly called over.  Meanwhile a long line had formed behind me and I could tell that they were thinking “Why is that lady giving that poor disabled cashier a hard time?”  The manager came and told the cashier that I was right and apologized profusely to me.  I guess the cashier took this as a sign that he was doing a bad job and he started to cry which just made the whole situation worse.  The manager finished the rest of my order, but I have never felt so bad about using coupons before and the whole scene made me want to throw in the towel.

        • Barb

Reading this I am thinking of a similar cashier at my Kroger. I remember him adamantly informing me that I couldn’t use e-coupons and paper together, when I wasn’t even attempting to do so. I hate to say so, but for a long time I got to where I wouldn’t go through his line because he would come up with the most bizarre and irrelevant comments. He would also greet me several times during the transaction as if he did not remember asking me how I was doing previously.

I hate that your cashier started crying, which must be out of pure frustration that once again, someone else understood something he did not. Imagine also how the manager must feel. I fully believe that developmentally challenged folks need jobs and to be productive, but perhaps dealing so closely with the general public (which would challenge just about anyone) is not the appropriate position.

You did absolutely nothing wrong and you should keep on with the coupons.

I had a similar situation, my cashier told me my  5 clipped coupons that she had to ring them up one at a time into separate transactions because they said One coupon per item…Im not kidding. She then went over to customer service after a long time and the line was getting long. Then she told me I couldnt use one of the printables so I didnt buy it. Then my total went below ten items without that item she didnt allow the coupon, so I would not get the Mega savings. Meanwhile everyone was staring at me. They told me I was confused about coupons. I told them ALL coupons say that! Sheesh she is a veteran casher has been at kroger for 20 years but rather elderly now..maybe starting to lose her mind? I then left my entire order there without the mega savings it was not worth it.

          • Teri

Bella-Just because someone is elderly does not mean that they could be losing their mind. I certainly hope that someone does not think that of you when you become “elderly”.

          • michelle

I can totally relate.  The same thing almost happened to me except with a young cashier.   It sucks to spend so much time shopping/planning and then have to leave it all there.

        • Ginger

Oh, I feel so bad for you and that cashier. This story almost broke my heart. But you know, it wasn’t your fault. The responsibility of the store manager, if he is going to place that cashier in that position, is to make sure he is trained until his teeth fall out. (And bless the manager’s heart for being willing to let that man have a chance, too.) But I’ve been a store trainer, and I also had a developmentally disabled brother, and to throw someone into a situation where they are not fully prepared is not right. We once had a cashier who was, some said “not quite right,” or “a little slow.” And that was true. I had to explain something 10 times that I had to tell most cashiers once, or twice. But the thing is, she tried so hard, and she worked her butt off, and after that 10th time, she blew most of the other cashiers out of the water with her customer service. So it seems to me like that was a simple training issue that the store manager should be able to address.  And I also imagine that if you went in and spoke kindly to that cashier, and let him know that you didn’t intend to cause him any confusion or distress, you might both feel better. (Not that you NEED to or anything, but you sound like a nice person, because it did upset you.) All any person can do is give it their best, and if everyone was doing that, then no one was really at fault. :)

        • michelle

I’m sorry that happened to you and the cashier.  He was probably just confused because Kroger seems to change their policies on a whim.  I know at my Kroger sometimes I can only use 3 internet coupons on the entire order and other times I can use more!!  There isn’t a written policy in place.

      • Heather

Bowling Green, KY is limiting their print at homes to 3 per day per kroger card, although a friend of mine said she heard the number was 2. I talked to a manager and she said it was b/c people were unknowlingly using invalid/copied printable cpns…I really wish we had a Publix. They are so much more cpn friendly.

    • Mel

Yay!  I just won a 15 oz. Country Crock!

      • cjms6599

      • Mel

Look for a link at the top of this post.

    • GUEST

I won a Degree deodorant.  HOWEVER my car did not appear a winner to me.  Perhaps everyone is a winner, at least, the first go round?

      • Barb

It’s not the actual car you choose, it’s whether you have already been chosen as a computer generated random winner, much like a drawing. The cars are there for entertainment value.

    • Products81

Won pizza :) Free is always welcomed :)
also got a winter ending season coupons says just for you coupons in the mail a few days ago, had free bag of lays, excerdine and many coupons for kroger items, which is nice seeing kroger can only give store coupons for kroger items :)

    • Bella

How does the Yoplait yogurt at 60 cents each come out to 26 cents after coupons? Does each one get a 30 cents off in the mega event? I dont understand this-= could someone explain? At publix they are also 60 cents this week and there is apublix coupon you can stack and those still cost 40 cents…

      • Bella

Its either 47 cents each or 17 cents each not 26 cents

    • Rnwolfpack

Free Tony’s pizza!  Thanks, Jenny, for all that you do!

    • amanda

i have a question you know how you get kroger coupons in the mail? i use to get them all the time now i never get them ever! and i shop there ALL the time i mean ALL the time im there almost everyday! so there is something not right. i dont even get those little booklets anymore.

      • Dstapleton2003

I live in Rincon, GA and I get mine all the time. I would email them and see why your not getting them.

      • Gmcouponer

I had this problem too. We were told to call krogers 1-800 number and tell them or the fastest way would be to get a new card. I did both but it still took along time to start them coming in. I can tell you that I get them alot now but I think it is because I do the surveys as much as I can. You have to put in the info on the receipt but since I do them alot I have had those coupons coming every few weeks now.,.. My advice is to try doing the surveys first because that is when I got mine……

      • Lsylte

We started getting them when we got their 123 rewards credit card.  They even send us personalized coupons for items we buy and have free coupons all the time… Never got them before.  We do not use the credit card, they just merged our kroger card with it.

      • exsquid22

It has taken 13 months, I just finally rcv’d my first kroger coupons.

      • Kelliea

I don’t have a Kroger credit card, only the Kroger Plus rewards card, and they mail me coupons in the mail.  I know that it’s linked from my rewards card, because the coupons are always only for items that I have purchased there.  It’s nice that they are all useful for me, and not for stuff I never use!

    • Dstapleton2003

Just won a free Country Crock. Yea I love that butter

    • Gmcouponer

Oh Yeah  I just won free deodorants……

    • Shelly

So, I’ve never seen a sale like this since I’ve been couponing less than a year.   Do I understand it correctly that for every 10 participating items you buy, you will receive a $2.00 catalina towards a future purchase…right?  So, then, do most of you just buy 10 items at a time within the same shopping trip so you can roll your $2.00 catalina into the next purchase and so on?

      • Ibdqt34

That’s right Shelly! I think Kroger is experimenting with their deals because I have seen this one before.

If you buy ANY 10 items (all the same or mix and match) you get the $3 off at checkout and then get a $2 off next purchase (via Catalina).

        HTH!

        • Barb

Same style Daytona event as last year, except catalina value has been lowered to $2.00

        • Shelly

Thanks so much!!  I wasn’t couponing this time last year so I wasn’t familiar with how it works.  Thank you so much for clairfying!

So…do most of you just do 10 items at a time so you can put the $2.00 towards your next 10 items?

          • Efranks41

I don’t because that would be a lot of trouble paying out 2 or 3 times. Those “good toward your next purchase” coupons are usually good for a while, so I just use on my next Kroger trip.

    • Chaoscow

so all the prices listed for the mega’s are 30 cents off of what they should actually be in the store (untill check out of 10 items)???

      • Ibdqt34

Yes. For example you buy 10 participating items ( all the same or mix and match) and use your Kroger card you will get $3 off your purchase (or the .30 cents off each item). So a 2.19 bag of Fritos would be 1.99. Does that help?

        • Shelly

actually, the Fritos would cost 1.89 with the .30 cent savings

    • Ibdqt34

Has anyone seen the Hefty One Zip bags sale price in their Kroger ad? I’ve looked twice online only and on my cell and I can’t find it? Is it possibly an unadvertised deal?

      PLMK. Thanks!

      • Ibdqt34

Found it. It is $2.49 for the 10 participating items.

    • Sharstevens

Wow…free Suave Shampoo or Conditioner! Yeah! Thanks Jenny for posting.

    • 1couponbug

Kroger here in league city, Tx  has softsoap on sale .50c to clean out old inventory, also lady and men speedsticks, use q with it almost free :)

      • LCook530

I hope our Kroger has that…we got .50 off Softsoap Q’s today in our SS.

      • Nymomnfla

I just moved this week to League City, TX and I am trying to understand the coupon policy for Kroeger and HEB. If you can help my email address is: nymomnfla@yahoo.com

    • Ryan_G_182005

so the .75 off the totino pizza will scan when you buy the totino pizza rolls?

      • Products81

yes if you have that q for 75c off 1 it will scan

        • Me

Depends on the cashier and how well known you are at your store.  Male cashiers – as long as it scans they generally don’t care.  The women are pickier about it.  In my store, the managers and cashiers know me well and generally tell me ‘hey, use that coupon for this…’.  They once told me that they’d rather do things like that for me because they WANT me to come back….I’m one of the few courteous couponers here, unfortunately.

          • itsmet

” .I’m one of the few courteous couponers here, unfortunately.”
It’s courteous to use the wrong coupon for the wrong product?? The $.75 off coupon is not for the Totino pizza rolls, it’s for the pizza stuffers. It’s coupon misuse to use it on the rolls, even if you find a cashier who will push it through.

        • Ryan_G_182005

          you’ve done it before?

      • lawman

It’s for a different product (Pizza Stuffers) and not Pizza Rolls. I don’t try to use when they don’t match but probably depends on your cashier whether they will scan it.

      • Lil A’s mom

it doesn’t matter if it “will scan” it is wrong

    • Volunteer Amy

Aldi has large eggs for $.69 per dozen in the Knoxville Powell store!  Ground Beef was $2.19 per pound.  Shop around ladies…unless you want the Campbell’s soup or Colgate toothpaste!  I only purchase SELECT items at Korger these days….can’t wait for PUBLIX here!!!

      • Lisa

I’m assuming you’re in Knoxville, TN.  There’s a chance we may be moving there and I’m not familiar with Bi-Lo/Ingles etc.  Will you e-mail me?  LCook53009@gmail.com  we probably won’t know for another month but if we do end up moving, it will be a whole lot easier to learn the new stores from someone in the area.  Thanks!

        • Guest

           There’s no Bi-lo in Knoxville.

          • Lisa

Dangit, could’ve sworn it came up when I searched.  I was getting really excited about that too.

            • Rwilson

Nope, no Bi-Lo….Used to be around, but not anymore…The closest Bi-Lo I’m aware of is Cleveland, TN. But there are lots of Kroger’s and Publix is coming soon…Used to live in Cleveland and went to Chattanooga to shop at Publix…it’s the BEST! Good luck with your move! :)

            • momto2

How do you find out if a publix might be coming? I live in Johnson City and would love to see a publix..I have never been in one.

            • KimberlySJ27

It’s coming to Northshore. It’s been on the news and has a coming soon sign at the location for June or July, can’t remember for sure which.. Other than that, not sure how you would know.

            • Ipreferpublix

Publix’s website has a list of stores, and they include coming soon stores

        • Mslonas

Im in Maryville, just a town away, and we have Aldi, Walmart, Kroger (my personal fav), Food City, Food Lion and getting a Publix soon, off Pellissippi pkwy!!  hth

    • Calpurnia78

what happened to the link to the kroger racing car game? wasnt it here last night? am I cracking up?

    • lindashell

won BBQ sauce yesterday free pizza today!

      • Bella

where is the link to this game? I saw it and its gone now.

    • lindashell

won BBQ sauce yesterday free pizza today!

    • Ginger

Aw, man, I wish I could trade one of you guys. I just won a kraft Mac and Chee cup. Free is free, but I don’t think anyone at my house will eat is.   Sigh… I’m totally in envy of you Totinos winners.

Oh well, last year I won a 16-lb bag of cat food, so I guess I’m still riding high from that win. :)

      • Bianca

         There’s always donating! :)

    • Kim

My Kroger has started that limit of 3 internet printed coupons per transaction. What’s up with that?

      • Bella

its been going on for a few months now in the atlanta krogers where you can only use 2 internet ocupons and 5 paper coupons. so you are actually lucky you can use 3. its a pain in the neck for sure.

        • ireneY

None of the ones I frequent have imposed q limits, luckily. If they are trying to discourage q usage, they have succeeded. I rarely shop at kroger at all now, especially with Publix offering their own gas card deals occasionally.

          • Lovely

            agree 100%

        • Mclaughlin Rebecca

Here I thought mine was bad, ours lets us use 5 like coupons of any kind per product. Course my son works there so I know which cashiers are nice and let me do 2 transactions with no problems so I can use 10. I finally have a person in a “high” place that working at a place benefits me to bad it’s not at a diamond store!

        • Lad0808

Wow I live in Atlanta also and my store Kroger does not have a limit on paper coupons yet.  I haven’t used that many internet coupons, but I will keep that in mind.   I hope they don’t change

      • kelly

My kroger does too and the reason they gave was because people are stealing by using the same coupon over and over instead of scanning a new one.  this happen at self checkout.

    • honaker13

So if I buy 20 mega items it will print out two $2 catalinas at checkout? Thanks!

      • Calpurnia78

yes it will – I wasnt sure but i bought 20 gatorades and got 2 of the $2 off next order.

        • honaker13

ok that’s what I thought. thank you so much i just didn’t want to get up there after buying 30 items and only get oe $2 catalina. :) Subject: [southernsavers] Re: Kroger Mega Event Ad: 2/12-2/18

    • Jenn

Won Totino’s Pizza yesterday, Gatorade today! Cheap is great, FREE is the best!

    • Erica

Just won a free Ragu pasta sauce.  WOOHOO!!!

    • Just a heads up, my kroger in Gainesville, GA didn’t have the honey nut cheerios or grands sweet rolls as part of the promotion :( that kinda stunk since I had them on my list but I still came out good, spent $205 and saved $127-that included a lot of meat, produce, and dairy that I didn’t have coupons for!

    • Products81

went today, my krogers doesnt start this weeks till wensday-tues. but got alot of free stuff, softsoap .50c with q was only .10c each 10 for  $1. and got lady/men speedstick free, 50c had q 1/2. made all them free. 40items for $4.00 (using items for local shelter, star of hope)

      • Products81

        miskey, meant 30items= 20 speedsticks=free+tax and 10 softsoaps for 1.
total 1.68 (had to do math seperate from other items bought today)

    • will .40/2 condensed soup scan for chicken noodle soup even tho it says it doesnt qualify? I know I have used coupons for items that don’t match but still scan? any other coupons that do the same thing?

      • Efranks41

That is not being ethical, and that’s what gives couponers a BAD name!

      • Leastcmplicated

Stop using coupons for items that dont match.  you’re committing fraud and you give us all a bad name!

      • Lil A’s mom

go somewhere else looking for this kind of info…Jenny doesn’t stand for that and neither do we…do what’s right, even when you are couponing

    • Djrdonna5

      I won a pizza!!!

    • katkoupon

Found Secret deod on clearance for 1.49 – 1 mq in today’s paper, and TOM roll-on for 1.97 – 2 mq tearpad on display.

    • Myra

Are the $2.00  catalinas  considered  manufacture coupons?  Or just
      considered  like money?

      • Mclaughlin Rebecca

Considered like money unless a specific product is listed on the Catalina….

      • Staci_marie

         Mine says $2 store coupon.

    • Kiraclerc

Just won a free bbq sauce. yay! :)

    • Greg

      Just won a pizza!!!!

    • newcouponer

I am new to couponing….. only been doing it a couple of months….. i understand the daytona 500 kroger deals but can someone please tell me if you can use coupons with those items?

      • Lcook53009

Yes you can. I don’t think Kroger has any event where you can’t use coupons.

      • Mclaughlin Rebecca

If you have an ecoupon you can’t use a manufactor’s. I suggest if the manufactor’s which can double and an ecoupon can not use the manufactor’s.

      • Efranks41

        Yes, always use coupons!

    • sue

      free Ragu sauce – yeah!

    • andi330

I don’t understand how the Ragu is coming out to $.49/each as listed above. All of the coupons listed are Manufacturer, and none of them reduce the price to $.49/each from what I can tell. The lowest it would go would be $.99/each. Is this a typo or am I missing something?

Edit: Never mind. I forgot about doubling if you use the $.50/1 coupon doubles to $1 so it would be $.49/each.

      • Maryljames31

        The coupon doubles

    • Missdtea

My Kroger had Planter’s peanut butter for 1.99.  They had an ecoupon for $1.50 of f2, don’t know if still available to download. Makes it 1.24 each.
Had French’s yellow and brown mustard for $1.00 less coupon in SS 1/22 for .30 doubles makes it .40.

The ocean spray fruit snacks were included in the mega event. Ran thru the store real quick yesterday and I think it was 2.19. There’s a .50 coupon in ss 1/8, the General mills one. There is a printable at Kroger printable and also at Target(manuf.).

      • Efranks41

I’ve been hanging on to my coupons & waiting on that deal on Planter’s peanut butter at our local Kroger!  Hope it’s there this week! :)

    • Mclaughlin Rebecca

I won a free totino pizza thanks Ginny!

    • Jenny

      Free Ragu!  :)

    • Staci_marie

The freebies/race challenge prices ring up as store coupons – so you can match w/ competitor Qs.

I won a free Ragu, and the SC deducted $1.79.  Bought 2 bottles and used the Ecoupon for $1/2.  If you buy 10 participating items – you also get $.30 off each.   So its $.19 for both jars.

    • Calpurnia78

Here is a funny story- i got my 2 $2 off next order catalinas and when I went to use them, they wouldnt scan. Yes, their own computers won’t scan their own coupons. So he had to call the manager after trying all which way to scan them, the manager tried doing it manually and one worked, one didnt..meanwhile  a line was forming. After last week when they wouldnt let me use a coupon cause it wouldnt scan it was somewhat humourous…

    • Calpurnia78

FYI be careful with the $1 colgate, there are higher priced ones mixed in. I read the price label on the shelf closely and it still rang up for $2.39 of course I didnt notice until I got home so ill be returning 5 toothpastes I was going to donate to the toiletry drive

    • Desiree

No antiperspirant has ever come close to being as good as secret, with the exception of Arm and Hammer.  For a buck, those of you who have not tried it, really should grab one.

    • Aamakeuplady2

      Yeah just won a Totinos!!!

    • lizclene

I won five packs of Kool Aid.

    • Dwashburn20

having trouble getting the kandoo coupon to pull up…any suggestions?

    • Rtreece

On the Mega event sale….do you have to buy 10 of the same item to qualify for the $3 off at checkout and $2 coupon..OR..can the items be random from the Mega sale list??  I’m new to all this and would appreciate some clarification. THanks

      • biskit0323

You an mix and match from the mega list. Welcome to couponing!

    • Jill

The Kroger in Gallatin, TN is only accepting 3 internet (printed) coupons per trip. The manager attributed this change in policy to the extreme couponers being exposed on TLC’s show. Grrr….

      • EricsWifeOwensMom

Tell him you will be calling corporate to complain!

      • michelle

The Krogers in Louisville have been doing this since last Sept.  I think all Krogers will soon only allow 3 internet coupons.  I was pissed because there was no warning or signs or any info.

    • teacher lady

      I won barbeque sauce

    • Maryljames31

I won a free Totinos pizza can I use it as one of my 10 items on the Mega deal?

      • CS

Worked for me.  I also used the $1/5 totinos ecoupon loaded to the card and it took that off as well!  So, I purchased 5 totinos pizzas total and it took off the Mega savings, ecoup and free totinos coup.

    • Laura

I saw the kroger game Sat, played Sat & Sun and won both days. Told Mom Sun & she played Sun-Mon & won both days so we are already done & not allowed to play any more.  I got Ragu & bbq sauce and she got Ragu & cracker jacks.

I realized when I got home I was 1 item short on my mega event deal.  Is there anyway I can go back up there and buy one more item or am I just out of luck?  I was trying to really pay attention but my daughter was not cooperating while I was in the store so my nerves got frazzled while I was finishing.

      • Ank220

Mandy – this has happened to me more times than I want to admit!  The customer service has always been spectacular.  If you go in and tell them you missed an item, they will let you pick up the item(s) and give you the discount.  You usually need to take your card in with you.

Thank you so MUCH!!!!  I went back to Kroger picked up a Gatorade, they gave me $3. and some change and a $2.00 off catalina.  I feel like a did awesome and really didn’t have a whole lot of coupons but I did get 2 weeks worth of groceries for $82.  I think $41 a week is a pretty good deal!  Woo Hoo!!!

      • Sdavisva

Bring your receipt and like PP said you buy the last item and then they will give you the $5.  So, if your item is on sale for .99 (not including the .50 off per item), they’ll give you 4.01.  HTH

The first time I had them do this it made no sense to me at the time, but then I saw the light…

I purchased 10 mega event participating items when I shopped at kroger on sunday and  I didn’t get a $2 off coupon. Can I take my reciept in and get my coupon. I am in the Snellville, GA area.

      • Bella

yes take you reciept in, you may have messed up and one of the items was not mega- there is a little symbol on the receipt of the mega items- next to the item..look for this. They will let you return that item (if you made a mistake) and get the right item and give the $2..one I bought the wrong size and i thought i had ten items and I only had 7. But they fixed it.

    • little bummed…my kroger card says I cant win more than 2 prizes per account..but says we can play everyday. Not too happy bout this. Planned to do my shopping tonight and wanted to get 1 more freebie

I guess I’m just feeling grateful for the two items I won because they didn’t really HAVE to give us anything for free.  But, again, that’s just me.  I realize there are others who feel entitled and nothing is ever good enough…

        • Lil A’s mom

          good attitude, Shelly

does the blue car win every time in the instant win game?  I picked blue and it won yesterday, but today I picked red, and blue won again.  Just wondering if I should pick blue again tomorrow.

      • Anonymous

        • Zebby

I’m lost. With all of the talk about using coupons on products not intended, why are there coupons listed under items that don’t belong? For example the Dove and Degree deodorant? All of the coupons listed are for the “premium” lines and not the basic ones that are on sale. Also the Gillette shave gel. Both coupons listed are for the Fusion line but just the plain Gillette Gel is on sale. Am I missing something here or do these coupons actually apply to the items in the ad?

      • Nonnie Mouse

Jenny lists both the coupons that do fit the sale, and that might fit the sale. Stores have a certain amount of flexibility and descretion in what they choose to include in the sale (they must include at least certain things, but can add other more ‘premium’ items if they wish). So it can depend on the store.

The terms of the coupon also sometimes vary by location.
So, yes. Every coupon will not be a match. But sometimes, you may end up pleasantly surprised.
