Not seeing a Special K Protein water coupon anywhere. :((

    • Molly70208

I believe there was a coupon for the fiber one frozen muffins on cellfire. :)

    • Chelsea

I love your unadvertised lists, thanks! I found another deal tonight. Tampax pearl tampons are on sale for $4.19 and I used a $2.00 ecoupon and the $2.00 p&g coupon from todays paper! :)

      • Alslaughter2

My ecoupon wouldn't work for me this morning. I may go back and retry it tomorrow. I'm glad it worked for you. I was afraid it wasn't valid. Good deal!

    • Crazee94

Try Kellogg's web site second page of coupons after you sign up.

    • Courtney

Birdseye frozen steam vegetables were on closeout at my Kroger for $1. Although they don't have a coupon to pair with, it is still a 99 cent savings.

    • ireneY

Did anyone find the Quaker oatmeal Q in AJC today?

      • Stacey0216

There was one in the Atlanta paper. It might not have come out in your area.

        • Diane

was it in a coupon insert?

    • susansaver

Met-RX protein bars are on sale 3 for $5. There's a $1/1 coupon in Aug All You and a B1G1 coupon in RP 8/15 or at the Red Plum website. There's also a $1/1 ecoupon on Kroger's website (I loaded this a couple weeks ago so I'm not sure if it's still there). If you buy 2, use all 3 coupons, they should be free with a little bit of overage ($0.34).

    • Deanna

I heard that you cannot use a paper coupon with an ecoupon at Kroger…Is this true?

      • Michelle

I have never had a problem at my Kroger.. they really don't check.. I have always used two the paper and the ecoupon..

        • Tigress1321

it really depends on your kroger. Some give you a hard time and wont let you however I know the one in dallas ga doesn't check. I use 2 all the time.

      • Extrafor6

The website clearly states that you are not allowed to use both a paper and e-coupon. However, I never had a problem doing it before I saw this guideline. I just pretty much stopped loading e-coupons for items that I have a coupon because I'm a rule follower. Guess it's a little of an integrity issue for me personally.

    • sharon60

Ronzoni MONEY MAKER. “It Pays to Eat Pasta” $3 rebate form at Food Lion in Calhoun GA in a big blinkie (the kind that normally has recipes). Buy 6 boxes of Ronzoni pasta in ONE transaction between Aug 16 thru Oct 29, 2010 and get $3 rebate check. Limit one per name per address. Not sure if it applies to Healthy Harvest or Smart Taste but all UPC codes listed on the back of form.

      • annemarie73

I also found the same form in Kroger in Canton, GA

      • andi

I can tell you that it doesn't apply to Healthy Harvest or Garden Delight. I thought this was a great deal, until I got home and realized I purchased pasta that wasn't considered one of the participating products. :(

    • sharon60

Found Super Poligrip Closeout at Krogers/Walnut Ave in Dalton GA last week. It's on “Extra Care” only, 2.2 oz for $2.49, pair with $1 printable Q so final cost is $1.49.

    • Hapytocme

Kroger on Douglas Rd. in Johns Creek, Ga has original Cheerios on closeout for $1.25 on 8/29/20

    • Kristen

The Krogers in Nashville area have Blue Bell Ice Cream 3/$10! This wasn't in the weekly ad but I saw it on their TV ad and then confirmed in it in the store on Sunday. With a $1 off coupon that makes it $2.33 for ice cream!

    • reen

I bought the reach floss at my Kroeger in Canton, GA on Friday for $1.00, used my $1.00 off coupon and it printed a $1.00 off Reach floss catalina when I completed the deal. I took the coupon and did the transaction a few more times. Can't beat $.06 for dental floss!

    • Rachel

there's a coupon for a free snikiddy product on the snikiddy web site

    • Anyone know the zip for the Mahatma rice coupon??

      • Chemist2232

It was in my paper this week, zip 31326

    • Lisabriskey

There was a $1/1 Speedstick Q in 8/29 Kroger insert. Makes for free deoderant.

    • 1stTimeSAHM

I need some advice/help! I went to Kroger today to do a little shopping and I noticed after I left that NONE of my ecoupons were taken off! I called corporate (only to be told to call back there was too high of a call volume) and then I called the store. The lady checked my card and said they weren't loaded. I just checked a few minutes ago and YES THEY ARE LOADED!!! I wouldn't have bought the disp. razors and used the $3 coupon unless they were free!! I ended up having to pay almost $2 for them….what would you do?

      • ireneY

If you're really wanting the discounts, print a copy of the e-qs loaded on your card. If customer service won't deduct the amount, repurchase and return the first set. If e-qs still won't come off, go right back to the same CS rep.

Oh the things we do for a few bucks!! :)

        • 1stTimeSAHM

Thank all of you!! I am sorry you have all gone thru the same thing, but glad I am not alone!

      • Mscott5050

Recall the store manager and let them know what you just shared with us. Double check that you used the right key fob/card. My husband and I have different ones. If all else fails….Keep your receipt. Return everything that you had a coupon for and have the cashier re-ring the transaction. Be sure to keep in touch with your store manager. Mine is great and the relationship is important.

      • Chemist2232

I have had this happen a few times. What I do is print my list of coupons on my card (there is a button to do this on the Kroger site) and if they don't ring up at the register I go to customer service and they give me the cash that I would have saved. They really can't argue with you if you have it in black and white!

      • blueeyes

UGH! I have had this happen also! very frustrating! Don't know what to do to fix the problem, but I did go to CS the second time it happened and they gave me the cash that iwould have saved. It just takes up time though, It whould just work right and we wouldn't have to worry about it.

      • Juls2929

I swipe my card first. This seems to work. I had issues at first, after reading on that site about doing your card first, I have not had any issues. I did dicover that you have to match the items exactly or it does not come off. I also suggest printing your list and bringging it with you.

        • itismedia

Yes, people have argued that it doesn't matter when you swipe, or total, but I have never had a problem when I have them swipe my card before ringing anything up, ring up everything, hit total, all the e-coups come off, then hand over the paper coupons.

      • Caroline

I had the same thing happen a few times. Once it was a cashier I knew so she just pushed some buttons and made it go through right there. Another time I went to cs and they gave me cash. The most recent time however, it was a free coupon for Johnsonville sausage that I'd won on the Summer of Savings game on the KROGER website. It didn't go through so I went to cs. I had the printout with it very obviously stating what I would get. The girl had to call a manager or someone and they told her there was nothing she could do b/c they had no control over the internet coupons. I returned it and got my $4 back! Haven't tried using any of the others I've won because I'm not sure I want the hassle.

      • itismedia

Question…did you load the coupons and then head straight to the store? Sometimes it takes a bit for the coupons to show up. I would return the razors and try again.

    • Bessie

I did not receive the $2.00 off the Hammermill paper that some people got. I get the Tennessean. Staples and Office depot have it on sale, but we didn't get the coupon. Also, did anyone get the P & G coupons on 8/29/10. Not us

      • Nicole

Yes, I get the News Senitel (Knoxville). It had the P & G it didn't, however, have the $2 off the paper as well.

      • jenr

I didn't get the Hammermill paper coupon, but I did get the P&G coupons from the Tennessean. I've had quite a few papers in the past missing the coupons though. I've started checking my papers before I buy them and have started a subscription to the tennessean that will hopefully start soon. I'm hoping that way i won't miss any coupons, we'll see:)

      • Elisa

I get the Tennessean but I do not know what you are talking about the $2 off the Hammermill paper. Please explain. Thanks!

      • JJMorton

I get the Tennessean and the Daily News Journal and did not receive the $2.00 off coupon either….. I did however get the P & G coupons.

    • Cheshirecats4

Krogers ecoupon site (softcoin.com) states “paper coupons and digital coupons cannot be combined on the purchase of a single item”. (its under the more info tab under each item's picture) Is this true? or do you find that both digital and paper coupons will apply at checkout?

      • I just posted a reply about this. If this is the truth, I'm seriously going to have to reconsider going to Kroger. They have lower prices, but for items on sale, Publix doubles coupons, takes coupons for B1G1s, and takes Kroger store coupons.

        • SoniaIam

The Publix here in Georgia does not take Kroger store coupons. That's interesting!

          • Brandi

The ones in Savannah, GA take Kroger coupons. Actually they take all coupons :)

          • itismedia

Yep they do in Savannah and I have a friend in Loganville and they take hers too. I think the general rule is it is up to the individual store managers what stores, within a 3-5 miles radius, they will take.

      • Krenhamil

I asked at my Kroger's customer service desk about this a couple of weeks ago, and they said I could use both. So I have been doing that, and both coupons ring up.

    • Amm

At my Kroger in TN, I found Ronzoni Garden Delight on sale for $1 with peel-able coupons on the boxes for $.50 off. The coupons doubled and made the pasta free!

      • Heather A

I found the same deal today at my Woodstock, Ga. Store. Yipee, free pasta.

    • Renny

On the VanCamp's pork & beans, at my mid TN Kroger, the little cans are on sale & my insert coupon states for 28 oz can, any variety, I don't think this is a match-up.

      • Renny

Well, while it is true that the tiny cans are this price, so are the large ones!! So sorry for the misinformation!! Thanks for the heads up on this one!

    • I was having trouble with my card and the discounts showing up on my receipts and coming off the total bill. I was told that Kroger doesn't stack paper coupons with digital coupons. Below is the quote from their representative. Did this change?

      “Digital coupons and paper
coupons may not be combined on the purchase of a single item.”

So we can combine with the purchase of multiple items. This is confusing. I can't stack my coupon with the ecoupon to purchase just ONE item, but if i'm doing a lot of shopping I can't stack the coupon with the ecoupon on the one item? Can anyone help me out here?

      Faith

      • itismedia

This is something that Kroger has been working on fixing for awhile now. When they first started with e-coupons you could match an e-coupon with a paper coupon and both would come off. Now a lot of the stores are set up so that if there is a paper coupon attached to the same item that you have an e-coupon for the e-coupon will not come off. You can however, buy two items and use the paper coupon on one and the e-coupon on the other. So far I have been lucky. I am not sure if it is my store or that I have them hit total before I hand over my paper coupons. This way all of my discounts have come off. Like I said, not sure if I am lucky or this just works. I have too hard of a time kepping up with e-coupons. I load the items I usually buy and look at them as extra money saved when they come off. Wish I could be more help, but I hope this helps some.

    • Robyn

I didn't see the Quaker Oats in the 8/29 rp. What's up with that?

    • 1stTimeSAHM

Just wanted to let everyone know- I was in Kroger today and there was a Better at Home Coupon Booklet in the back of the store near the meat department! Up to $15 worth of coupons and receipes for breakfast, dinner and dessert!! Expires 10/25/10. Hopefully this is new information and I'm not reposting something!!

      • Jennlew4444

        is this at every Krogers?

    • MariahT

Does anyone know what the policy is for “manager special” products and coupons? I was under the impression that you could use a coupon as long as it is not for more than the item is marked down to. For example, my store had some Frebeeze Illuminaries marked down from $13 to $6 and I tried to use a $4 coupon but the cashier (who conferred with manager) said that you can not use ANY coupons on ANYTHING that has a “manager's special” (the orange sticker) tag, regardless of the value. I was really disappointed :( I emailed corporate and I'm waiting to hear back from them.

      • krob

I have used a 50 cents off coupon on a manager's special item that was marked down to 79 cents so they should take the coupon!

      • itismedia

I have used coupons for MS before. I know they will not give RC for them since they are an in store special. Let us know what Corp. says. I am thinking it may be something along the lines that managers can do what managers want to do. I like that managers have flexability, but it does get frustrating at times too.

      • Grammyofjack

I love Kroger, esp. having been a teacher for years and all the $$$ they give to local schools…but their policy on MS and coupons totally frustrates me. I actually mailed the Kroger home office and they told me that the policy is up to the individual managers as to whether they honor coupons(store or manuf.) on MS. My Kroger on Hamilton Mill does NOT honor coupons with MS or clearance items. That's too bad, because that would make the items a real deal if you could use coupons also. :(

        • Liz91352

this seems stupid as the Kroger will get the money back for the coupon ! Maybe someone should remind the managers of that and that we could find a store that will do us right.

      • Monica452

My Kroger allowed a Bob Evans .35 cent coupon on a roll of sausage that was on manager special for $1.49. He even double it so I got it for .79 cents. But then again they don't seem to look at the coupons very well because I got away with using 2 – $1.00 coupons for Glade “Premium” spray (which is a few $$ more expensive then regular spray) on 2 regular cans of Glade air freshner that was on sale 10/$10 this week. Woo Hoo LOL

      • Coupons4Roses

I just did it today with the Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil – they were MS for $1.49 and I had coupons for $1.50 off. The Kroger here took them without question!

      • That is ridiculous, unless they have it posted in the store or on their coupons it is fair game. Depending on the situation, I would have left all of my stuff there and went to another Kroger. I bet getting three steps away they would have let you use the coupons. Splitting hairs about coupons on their end is so silly. The customer is always right…no matter what.

    • partyof6

Kroger @ Thomas Crossroads in Newnan, Ga has Ronzoni Smart Taste for $1. There are coupons last I checked avail for .75 off 1 box and $1 off 2 boxes. Biggest suprise was just past these purple Ronzoni boxes hanging from shelf in acrylic box was a sweepstakes and a rebate for $3 when you buy 6 boxes called “It Pays To Eat Pasta”. I spent $3 after coupons for 6 boxes and getting rebate of $3 making all 6 FREE once I received rebate.

      • Andrea

Just be careful everyone to buy the right kind. I bought Healthy Harvest and Garden Delight and it turns out that those aren't part of the rebate :(

      • Sarah

really? i didnt find this anywhere in my store! and i cant find it online either!

    • Leigh

I went to Kroger today with a friend, i was trying to teach her the stuff I've learned couponing. I've been doing it for about 3 weeks now. Well, I was able to actually look since I was childless. :) I found several Colgate toothbrushes for 10/$10. I cut my coupons so I'm not sure when they came but I think it was 8/29 for 40c off. So, toothbrushes for 20c each. Yay!

      • AmandaK

I also looked and Colgate Oxygen is on the 10 for 10 deal…there was a $.75 off coupon in Sunday's paper, which made it $.25 for the toothpaste.

        • Leigh

I looked at toothpaste but didn't notice any for 10/$10. But, I will definately look next time I go. Thanks!

          • Moe

They have asst. colgate toothpaste @ my store @10/10-I used the .75 from 8/29 SS and got several for 25cents ea. and the sale date on the tag has an exp date of 9/14.

            • Krenhamil

I found Reach toothbrushes at my store for $1. I used three coupons to get all three for free!

    • Ktmom2boys

My Kroger in Nashville has Ovaltine Malt Mix on closeout for $1.99. Combine that with the $1.00 off Q from the Sunday paper (sorry, can't remember which one. Maybe Jenny knows? :-) ) and you have a pretty good deal!

    • Madison

I am confused. My weekly ad runs 9/1-9/7 for Kroger. Am I missing something?

      • jess

mine 2, just different regions is all… just means that when she posts deals they dont start for us until that thurs…

    • Julie

If I have a coupon from the paper with the Kroger emblem on it, can I also use a manufacturer coupon with that for the same product?

      • Brooke82

If it says manufacturer's coupon on it you can use it anywhere.

    • jenr

my kroger has pantene color protect conditioner on clearance for $1 (on the shelf and a bin). i found a $2/2 pantene coupon in my stash. i think from the paper sometime in August.

    • Saeweardsmith

      I found a Mahatma Rice Q in RP 8/29….50/1..makes it .09.

    • Coupons4Roses

Our Kroger had Vicks DayQuil and NyQuil capsules marked down to $1.49. With the coupon in PG-8/29 they ended up being free!!

    • Leigh

Our Kroger has the small Dawn dish liquid regular priced at $1.49. There was a 50c coupon from 8/29 and there is a 50c Kroger e-coupon….If your store lets you use both….FREE!

    • Brooke82

I know this is off topic, but does anyone know of any good couponing blogs for Tom Thumb and Albertson's? I followed Southern Savers while I was in SC for Publix, Bi-Lo, etc. While I will always follow SS for Wag's and CVS, I now live in Texas and need help with coupon match-ups for the grocery stores here. Thanks!

I bought a Tide Stain Release in wash booster @ $7.49 and used my $3.00 off Q from the recent P and G insert plus the 3.00 off Kroger e-coupon and paid $1.49.

    • Jessuga

If you go to the Snikiddy snacks website, you can find a coupon for $1 off. It will make them only $.49. My son absolutely loves these and they are a healthy alternative to cheetos!

I found one flavor of the Betty Crocker cookie mix on closeout for $1.31. If your store allows both eQs and paper Qs, you can use on .40 e-Q and .40 paper to get the mix for .11. Unfortunately I did not have the paper Q that day. I'm hoping there'll be one left next week.
