How is Heinz Vinegar free, since Kroger no longer stacks coupons?

      • Rrbarr

I'm thinking b/c it is Upromise which is different from the other eq's in that the money is deposited in your Upromise account; it doesn't take any $$$$ off your receipt.

    • Bee

I just wanted to point out that if you loaded all the Buy This, Get That e-coupons on your card last week, you can get a duplicate today. I already used a
“Buy Banquet chicken get ketchup free” coupon and “Buy 2 Parkay and Get $1.50 off store brand eggs” on Friday and those exact coupons are back on the select list. I was even able to get a duplicate for ones I had already added and not redeemed.

Further, you CAN use a coupon on the item you are buying to qualify with. I used a .50/1 coupon on the Banquet chicken and still got the free ketchup.

Also, in the store today I saw some paper coupons that are exact replicas of the e-coupons in case you just don't want to use e-coupons for the deals.

    • Damahurin

Why are they not advertising the cleaning supply mega deal again? I had to buy coupons off the internet the week the p&g came out and the lady who I bought them from sent me a whole bunch of extra inserts with coupons to go with this sale. Needless to say I've been to Kroger every night stocking up since I thought it wasn't going to run again. They probably think I'm a hoarder:)

      • Bee

I had to get a ton of rain checks on Friday because nearly NONE of the advertised cleaners were in stock. The service desk girl did not like me.

        • I get anxiety everytime i go into Kroger because I know the shopping trip is going to end with me at the Customer Service desk. Something always goes wrong at Kroger. Usually, it's Catalinas that didn't print off. Last night it was Digiorno Pizza that didn't ring up right. Anybody else get anxiety over shopping now that they've started Couponing?

          • gardengirl

I do too. For months now, I go to the same Kroger and there is a new policy change. Some days, they will double more than one like q and other days they will not, sometime the ecoupon will come off and others not. It is so difficult so work from a budget when I shop there. I keep a running total of my purchases while I shop but when I check out, it never matches because of the changes to their policies. To figure out what was different and if they scanned all the q's, takes 30 minutes. I think they have decided that they don't really want couponers and so they are trying to make it very difficult for us. I also hate that after shopping, I have to stand in line at checkout for what seems like 30 minutes because they only have 2 registers open and the self check out people will not scan all my q's (they say they aren't suppose to do q's at self check out). Thanks for letting me rant!

            • C0nfused

Why have a coupon option in self check out if they're not suppose to take it?

You need to find another krogers, one that's more friendly and file a complaint against this one. And if your curious, Krogers DOES read the comments left on surveys.

            • Kelly Valentine

I just got back from Kroger in Houston and I did the self check out. I've never had any problems using coupons there but I had 10 coupons worth .30 tripling to .90 for $1.25 bottle of mustard and they would only let me use 5. I told the checker to just take the 5 off and I'd let my husband do a transaction and use the coupons. She told me he couldn't! I said he's a customer and he has his own shopper's card and he certainly could and will. She said you'll have to do it at the other end! My husband said “Fine!”, grabbed the bottles from her and my coupons and went to the next line over and checked out! That is the first time I've been limited on coupons and anyone in that store had acted that way. She wasn't outright rude but she acted like we were ripping the store off. Made a mental note of her face and won't be going near her again. I think Kroger is fixing to lose a lot of business after this week!

    • JessR2

My Kroger ad DID advertise the cleaning event, but not in huge print on the front page like they usually would with mega events. It's sort of buried on like the third page… and only one line across showing 4 sets of items. It was also advertised last week in the same way… I do wish I had paid more attention to get the febreeze stuff with coupons. But $1.49 each is still not too shabby…

      • Beth Anne

Where can I find coupons for the febreeze stuff?

      • Felene

When one of my mega event refunds did not print the cashier called the manager over and I told him that I had bought all the items but my refund did not print. I explained the sale to him and he told me he was not aware of that sale. It was a Twilight Zone moment that had me doubting myself because for a minute I thought maybe I had made the mistake. I thought how strange it was for a manager to not know about a sale like that!

    • Smarti57

Our Kroger's had Pillsbury Toaster Strudels for 1.99 and with a dollar off coupon makes it only .99

    • swaltz1

anybody have the zip for the cesar dog treats? tried the regulars and cant find the $2 off coupon

    • CHI

Does anyone know the zip code for the rubbermaid containers? Thanks in advance

    • Beth

I live in Nashville, TN, and my Kroger is not running the B1G1 sale (the sale through Wednesday). Anybody else in Tennessee have that sale?

      • Mommyharrod

I am in Ky , less than an hour from Nashville and we dont have the B1G1 deal either :(

      • Tnjcent

Beth, No B1G1 here in Murfreesboro, Tn paper

      • Ljturner623

We have the b1g1 in Knoxville

    • KaraLWood

I'm new to this site and the east coast, so I was wondering where I can find Kroger items in South Florida? Thanks!

      • Prsol

        Welcome Kara! ;-)
When you say Kroger items, do you mean kroger stores?
As far as I know, Kroger doesn’t serve FL. :-(

I made a quick search on a couple of FL zip codes on their site (kroger.com) but it only points me at Littman Jewelry … (Not sure what that is. Doesn’t sound like you can get cheap butter at that place! LOL… sorry, bad joke! :-)

But you do have Publix in FL! and, although they don’t double coupons or participate on the Penny Item weekly sale, their prices are still very competitive when you combine coupons with their Buy One, get One sales… :-)

Roam around this site, watch Jenny’s videos, post questions… pretty soon you’ll have your coupon routine all figured out! :-)

      • Sb

There are no Krogers in south Florida

    • Ilove2teach2003

At my Kroger in Loganville, GA, the similiac formula was on sale for 3.99. If you use the $5 q, you will get $1 overage!!! :)

      • Laurenzomac

I wish they had that overage policy here in Marietta, GA. Apparently at the Kroger we go to, they have tightened up some policies. Today, my husband bought some Suave deo for 88 cents and had a coupon for 50 cents, which should have doubled and given us 12 cents in overage. The computer took the original 50 cents off and then 38 cents. I know this one isn't a big deal, but they used to do it and now apparently don't. They have also become super-anal about the ecoupons and regular ones. Has anyone else noticed this?

        • sarahcas

At my Kroger, they have never doubled to give overage, just up to the amount that would make the product free.

        • Cedartown still doubles to give overage, but they only accept 1 Q per item. They don't even accept Catalinas if you have mQs for the item.

        • Natalie

that's what they do at the kroger here in Lawrenceville too.

    • Polarbyte

Kool-Aide deal ROCKS! I haven't had this drink in 20 years but I noticed a Watermelon-Cherry flavor and bought a few packs along with the flavors my family likes and tried it….OMGoodness! So yummy, taste like a watermelon Jolly Rancher. Plus a super great deal. So far I've had them take off 1 buck and another lady took off 1.25. Those cashiers really need a caculator.

    • momof2

i live in mississippi and our kroger ads run from wed to tuesday. so is the kroger ad you post the ad that we will see in our kroger the following wed?

      • nina

I live in ms as well. This ad will start this coming wed for us. Its really nice because we get a few days to prepare!

    • Janie

Be aware with the $5 gift card deal: the purchases at my Kroger must be made between 4/18 and 4/24! The advertising is very misleading…even the cashiers were confused about it when I mentioned it. I will be stopping by customer service tomorrow…

      • Natalie

yes, i noticed this too. thankfully i checked the details in the ad before i bought anything. BUT according to the price tags on the cereals and granola bars, that sale is supposed to run until the 23rd. so, we can still get the cereal and granola bars at a great price and get the $5 gift card. it also said only one reward per transaction so keep that in mind too.

      • Mel

My ad says between 4/10 and 4/23.

      • Liz

        In Raleigh, it runs 4/10 – 4/23.

      • adelia

It isn't in my store at all. Customer service didn't know about it. Perhaps it will come next week.

    • Abbigailful

Doh! I forgot to grab the AJC yesterday. Does anyone know somewhere in the Atlanta area I can buy the AJC today??

      • courtny

sometimes grocery stores and walmart hold on to the extras just go to the customer service desk and ask.

      • gardengirl

I would call your local grocery stores customer service and see if they still have some or call AJC and see if you can go by and just get/buy the inserts. I get the Birmingham paper on Mondays out of a machine outside a gas station. Good luck.

      • Rhonda Daily

Most drugstores will still have them. I bought 4 copies this morning!

    • ireneY

Libby canned vegetables were on sale for $.59 a can at my store. I used a $.50/3 Kroger home mailer that doubled, so got 3 cans of beets for $.78! Call me crazy, but I love those red root vegetables! They could also be used in Jenny's favorite red velvet cake recipe! :)

      • Chargar1153

How do you get the Kroger home mailer

        • Ash1511

You get coupons in the mail if you have a newer card. I had a kroger card FOREVER and never got them. I signed up for a new card and a few months later, I started getting coupons in the mail. It's every few months, but they send coupons for stuff you have actually bought.

          • Carolina Coupon Mom

If you do have an old card, you can go to the Kroger website and update your information and they will start mailing them to you. I did that 5 weeks ago when I started couponing seriously and they've come two or three times now.

    • Shataquia

Hey ladies I just found out that Kroger has digital coupons now. All you have to do is go on to the website and register your card and start loading coupons to it!!!!!

      • Kelly Valentine

Be careful with those, they take precedent over your paper coupons and they don't double! If your Kroger still doubles, you'll probably get a better deal with paper ones.

    • Yoyo

Recently, I did not have any great deal at Kroger…. since they did not take both ecoupon and paper coupon. Also, they did not take same kind of coupon in my store. I thought Publix was more expensive, but I got better deal if you use 2 manufacture + store coupon for B1G1 item. They take target coupon, too.

      • Rhonda Daily

Here in Atlanta, GA (I live just outside in Lawrenceville) they take both printed and ecoupons. They even double anything under $.50. I hate that they don't do that in your area! Unless they have just changed these policies here in my area. I hope not!

        • Paisleywmn

I live in Lilburn. I hope they didn't change the policy too!!!

        • Tedwards1

I got shocked last week when they handed me back my manufacturer coupon because an ecoupon was applied, so things are changing in Georgia. This was in Jefferson.

          • Deh5

I had the same expreience with the e-coupons. THe cashier can override it though if they get tired of the register regecting the coupons. I had a lot of them and I think she just wanted to get rid of me since I kept telling her, no I did get two of those items etc.

            • I had the same thing happen to my Kroger in Acworth. They require you to scan your Kroger card first before scanning coupons, so your ecoupons scan first. That way they don't double. They rejected then 2 of my paper coupons. Needless to say, I'm not adding ecoupons to my Kroger card. Not worth it.

        • Yoyo

Wow! you are my neighbor… I will try different store next time.

    • guest

      Where have you been???

    • Debbie1963

If you go to this site, http://www.pedigree.com/promotions/lhkroger/save-now.aspx, you can get a Kroger $5 off Pedigree coupon by mail.

    • Lee

I live in Cumming, GA about 25 miles north of Atlanta and they told me they don't double any more. I found that out when I tried to get the Heinz Vinegar.

      • Yoyo

Go to publix!!!!! They sell 2 for $2 and I got 2 free (16 oz).

      • LIvvy

Wow. I am new to this coupon game and was just about to go to Kroger. I was really hoping they doubled. Maybe I will try Publix instead.

    • Griffigirl69

I just got back from Kroger and they had ALOT of pyrex on clearance for $1.49-$2.09 cupcake pans cookie sheets glass covered dishes~I was so glad I had 4 of the $1 off coupons that came in Sundays paper:) just wanted to post so people can check the clearance shelves~not sure if it was just my kroger or maybe all of them?

    • Chipandleighanne

does Kroger double coupons if so when and do I ask them to do it or is it automatic…I am new at this as you can tell.

      • if your store doubles, its automatic locally in augusta its up to .50

      • Prsol

Depending on where you live, they may or may not double (I'm in GA and they double here). It happens automatically: the register adds double savings on coupons that have a value of 50¢ or less. The result is a long receipt with lots of duplicate coupons at the bottom and a bunch of savings! :-)

        Happy couponing!

        • Chipandleighanne

I am also in Georgia they did not double my coupons and they did not use my e coupons for some reason…I was not happy with my savings at kroger :( But I will keep trying!

          • Linda Ivester

Kroger has changed their coupon policy. I would check it out.

    • Found duracell charger w/ 2 batteries clearanced for $2 and there was a coupon in the PG for $2/1 Duracel charger or rechargable batteries… Free rechargeable batteries!

    • Deidre

I am new to couponing, but am trying to learn the ropes. This website is vvery helpful. Thanks

    • Lw

the huggies wipes were 2.49 at kroger near spring valley:(

      • Griffigirl69

were they the ones in the soft striped pack~not the box. I'm just saying because I thought they were higher at my store too, but I looked around and saw the soft (72 wipe) package…at first I was looking for them in the box.

    • Stephanie123blue

FYI…I went to Kroger last night and bought the 4 participating items and it didn't automatically give me my $5 gift card. I had to go to customer service to retrieve it, and they double checked to verifiy I purchased the correct items. They also missed a large e-coupon for buy 3 Nutrigrain items, get $3.00 off. They are really bad about this at my Kroger in Hermitage, TN, so make sure you keep up at checkout!
I got back $8.28, but had to wait 10 min at customer service! But, worth it:)

      • Tanjastreasures5

I do most of my shopping at Publix. This week I also shopped that the same Krogers you mentioned. I u-scan because I have found oftentimes that prices scan wrong which means I get it free. I did not notice that they had a sign instructing me to see the uscan employee for the cereal deal prior to cashing out. Just like you, I was able to go to customer service and get the cash with no problem. I too have found that ecoupons do not always scan at Krogers. I carry my listing of all the coupons I have loaded on my card for times like these and show them. They are very cooperative for the most part. Does anyone know if all the Krogers are only allowing the coupon to match up to the item sale price instead of doubling? I purchase deodorant what was $.88 using a $.50 coupon so it only doubled to $.38. At Publix they will double to full $.50.

        • Calpurnia78

I noticed this too at my Kroger in Suwanee..I was surprised they only added the 38 cents and did not double…Publix is not like this. But free is free so it was fine!

    • Zrjsval

Checked in w/ customer service desk at Kroger in Flowery Branch, GA Monday before buying the 4 General Mills products ~ Even though I showed them the ad they looked at me funny and said it was running this week. The register did not pick it up so cust. serv. had to come and manually put in the deal. They also didn't know anything about the $5 gift card offer w/ $15 purchase of Mars Candy (There was also $1 off 2 in the paper). I got $15 worth of Mars candy for $7 ~ not bad! The cust. serv. rep. ended up taking $20 off my bill instead of $10. Then handed me catalina coupons that I didn't look at until I got home ~ and there was the Mars $5 gift card offer!!! I believe someone is asleep at the switch:(

    • Hedgehog1974

I'm new to this. Is the kroger ad in the paper? I didn't find one Sunday.

    • Jenni

I got the $5 gift card wyb the cereal with no problems. The varieties of the cereal on sale were more limited than I would have liked, but still ended up getting 8 boxes of cereal (in two separate transactions of 4 boxes each) with coupons for a little over $1 apiece. Plus I have $10 worth of gift cards for the next trip. Love when deals work out!

    • andie98

was so excited when I spyed Similiac Go and Grow tub in the clearance tub! 9.98 per tub, add my $5 and $3 off coupon plus eight jars of stage 3 beechnut baby food ASWILL as buy 25/get 5 off.. grand total $15!!!! My daughter is almost eleven months so this was GREATTT for us. It will almost get us to her first birthday.!!!

    • TJ

I must say a big Thank You to You Jenny. I saved 100% on those Oral B toothbrushes at Kroger today. At work we trade papers and sometimes people over look coupons or do not take the coupons because the items are too high but thanks to your site I able to know where the deals are and I also go and scope out the deals a day are so myself before I decide to go shopping so I know what I can match up with my coupons especially on closeouts. A Great BIG THANK YOU TO YOU! I really appreciate all you do.

    • Ashley Finch

Be careful with the $4 household event. If you look closely at the add, it says that the items are that sale price AFTER you buy 4. So If you buy 4 scrubbing bubbles and use the $1/2, you end up paying .99 for them. They are not free. :( Still, a pretty good deal.

    • SugarRush

Hello ladies (and gents if there are any on here)! We are new to couponing and I have a question…can I use more than one coupon on the same product? We shop at Kroger's in Covington, GA and I have no clue how to do this exactly. Any help would be greatly appreciated! THIS SITE IS GREAT!!!

      • Caseyr1417

yes you can. Jenny explains a good example if you click under cvs and look at the deals, and scroll to the bottom where it says scenario idea. it's pretty tricky if you're new at it and sometimes you have to explain to the cashier how to scan and use the coupons. watch some of jenny's videos and she can explain it a lot better. ps, i'm a guy and my brother got me into this lol

    • Gwen

Had the same problem in Murfreesboro, TN. The cashier said that they just changed their policy.

Can can manufacturers coupons be used with kroger coupons that r printed at the register?

      • Emily

They can only be used together if one of them is a “store coupon.” The ones that print at the register are usually Manufacturer coupons.

Is any one getting the five dollar catalina coupon for buying 15 dollars Mars candy?

Went to my Kroger's in Murfreesboro, TN yesterday. The cashier said that they have changed their policy and no longer accept manufactures coupons and their ecoupons. She was kind enough to go ahead and put mine through. I just hate that. Is anyone else running into that problem? I really liked my Kroger savings and will miss them.

I just got back from the Kroger here in Smyrna, TN and They had DAWN dishsoap (the big bottle of hand renewal) marked down for $1.25. I got 5 bottles for $.25 each which is a great deal to me.

Where did you get your $1 off coupon?

    • Sunnimemory

Here in Cedartown and Rome, GA both Krogers will NOT accept an ecoupon or a Kroger coupon and a manufacturers coupon anymore… they call that coupon stacking now… even though they are getting paid from the manufacturers when use their coupons and they are getting our busniess by going to their store it appears kroger wins by us going there… they may be loosing business now…In todays times every family needs to save all their pennies they can.. there was no need to change the policy If they want the business they should think of the customers first not thier pocketbooks…

This has ALWAYS been their policy. Its right there when you add your ecoupons to your card. Has always been there. Their system was not set up to catch it so we got by with it. This isnt Kroger punishing you. This is Kroger making sure that they are not in violation of the manufacturers policy of not paying for their own product that you get to take home. If Kroger gets caught accepting both coupons then they DONT get reimbursed for anything. You have bills to pay. So do the manufacturers. So do the stores.

Just wanted to let you coffee drinkers know that if you log onto the Taster's Choice website you can print a B1G1 free coupon for the 7ct. packs! That makes it a $0.51 money maker! I'm just hoping my Kroger has that deal going. I'm going to try and do it twice — we'll see!

Yep! It worked! I know for you east-coasters, this weeks' deals are over, but I'm shopping in Texas, and we've got this ad until Tuesday. AND our Taster's Choice boxes were $1.29! So, I got 4 boxes of Taster's Choice, I paid $2.58 and got $4 in coupons for my next purchase (I did them in separate transactions, just to be sure it worked). Yeah!
