Kroger Logo

Kroger through me for a loop yesterday with a ton of unadvertised mega items.  So last night I got all of those added to the full weekly ad, but ran out of energy to get the other deals typed and couponed for you.  So here is the list of “non-mega event items” that are also great deals.

If you see any other deals leave a comment.

At my Kroger there are a number of items in cosmetics (Revlon, L'Oreal, Maybelline, etc) that are on closeout.  I got some L'Oreal lipglosses that were originally $8.99 each and marked down as a closeout for $2.25 — I used $2.00 coupons and only paid 25 cents per lipgloss.  Sweet deal!

Another deal was Boudreaux's baby lip/cheek treatment normally priced at $3.99 and closeout priced at $1.49 — I used $1.00 coupons for a total price of 49 cents per tube.

      I heart closeouts!

      • how does it work if its b1g1 do you use 2 coupons

        • Ashleylatty

YES! That is the best part. I search for B1G1 free items so that I can save even more money. All in all one item is not free but if you buy two of the B1G1 free items the cost together would only equally what you would usually pay for one. Get two items at reduced prices and use two coupons for additional savings.

      • Abigailfr

thanks for the makeup suggestion. they had tons on closeout at my store too- all of it was gone except one mascara. it was marked 1.81 and I had a $1 off coupon. so got a covergirl mascara for .81. pretty good.

    • Mallory_18_2003

I just went to Kroger yesterday (southern IL).  I found the French's Honey Musturd sauce included in mega event for $1.92 after 50 cents off and used my french's coupon for 1 off making it $0.92.  I love this and so do young children.  I also found M& M's on sale for 2 for $1 and had a  75 cents off  coupon from 7/10 inserts making two m&m candies for 25 cents!  Also had colgate sensitive toothpaste enamel protect on closeout for $1.33 and said was part of mega event savings making it 0.83 and had $1 off coupon either from May or June All you magazine making it free!

    • Klynn

At the cumming, ga kroger they have 2 kinds of healthy choice meals on closeout for $1.99 (normally $2.49) each. That's great for me b/c that's what my hubby takes to work for lunch everyday.

      • Kelly Valentine

I tried the sesame chicken ones with rice and it was not good!  Way too sweet!

    • Tkrodgers

Can u buy 20 items on the mega list and get 10.00 off that transaction or is it better to break up the transaction per 10 items

      • mommyof1

at our kroger, you can buy 20 and get the money off each.. =)  but be careful, one time i did this and it did not take and i had to go through the receipt to find the error, which is not fun.. so just watch the end to make sure the $5 is taken off for each set.

        • EB

If you notice while things are ringing up or when you do self check – there is a [+] next to all the items that are included in the mega – I usually count my + signs as they ring up to make sure there are multiples of 10 of these.

      • Randi

I bought 50 items for $25 off yesterday, no problems at all!

      • Dave

Yes, you will get $5.00 per 10 items…

    • Jenni Lou Who

      I can't find the coupons for Libby's – any1 else?

      • Abigailfr

i got one when she first posted it but now, it looks like its gone.

      • Rettarae

        I couldn't find them either.

      • Laura

Libby must put a low print limit on their Q's because every time they have one out it's always gone within a few hours. I believe this is the 6th time in 6 months this Q has been out and it's never lasted a full day yet (or even a half a day).

    • Jcwiakala_44

I tried signing up for the shortcuts ecoupon for the $5/5 Kellogs deal and it said it wasn't available in my area.  Anybody find out what zip code will work for this?  Also, has anyone used shortcuts(dot)com before?  This is the first time I've seen Jenny list it.  Thanks.

      • Christipie

I used the zip code that Jenny provided but I dont remember what it was.  It was out in my area too.

        • Efranks41

I googled Kellogg's e-coupon code and it said use 84711 or 84722!  I haven't tried it yet though. Maybe that will work for you. :)

    • I've already posted the full list on the main Kroger list for the week.

    • Christipie

The pampers Easy Ups that are on close out are the old package.  My store didn't have any left but still had tags up.  Its the ones that are sized as 4 and 5 instead of 2t, 3t ect…

    • Penguinfan157

Kroger has 3 Musketeers at the register 2/1 and I think it was 2 Sundays ago we had a .50 off two which doubles to a dollar so I got two for free!!!

    • HI, question. NEWBIE here.

So Kroger will accept the MF coupons from the Smart Savings booklet even though it says redeemable only on publix?

      • Zee

as long as it says MF Q and starts with a 5 barcode, the tiny number before all the rest

    • O, also will Target? does it count as a Manufactures coupon because it says that on there? What about the ones on the walgreens ads?

    • momm8

My Kroger has the Comforts baby diaper rash 4 oz on close out for 83 cents.

    • $aveme$ome$

Arrggh, I get so tired of finding a good lead on a coupon or e-coupon to find it not available in my area. Latest is the Shortcuts eC for the Kellogg's cereal. It's visible before I sign in to Shortcuts but not after.
Don't even get me started about the dearth of RedPlum coupons in my Sunday paper…. I'm short 50% of them EVERY week. I guess my area doesn't count much to advertisers.

      • gina

I hear ya about the RP. I had just 12 Qs in my RP insert yesterday!

        • Melissa

My area too..when you can even get a q in the paper! I have resorted to buying mine from ebay.

      • Shopperlayne

Me too!  I was so mad that I could see the $5/5 coupon before I signed in and then when I did, no luck.

      • Dmaynard

My redplum coupons in the Sunday here in WV was a waste of print. The coupons in the paper seem to me to be getting less and less each week. I didn't even have a walgreens ad flyer in my paper.

      • Efranks41

We all are experiencing the same problem…great coupons…ooops, just not in your insert!!  I have checked 5 or 6 back-to-back before and…not there! I HATE that! Feels like I'm wasting my time, and I guess I am…looking for things that aren't there!!! :(

    • Reesefamilyshops

Just came back from Kroger.  Used the (2) $1.00 off for 2 2ct. Wisps and received $1.50 Q back compliments of Wisps.  $1.12 money maker!  Also, was able to use the Rubbermaid $1.50 Qs for containers that were $3.19 B1G1.  .19 cents for 2 Rubbermaid containers!  Total overall: $72 for $27!

    • Carterstowing22

Thanks for doing this.  I appreciate all your hard work.

    • CSat

I also went to Kroger and bought 4 of the Colgate Wisps and received (2) $1.50 Q off any purchase.  Spent .76 and got $3.00 in Q.

      Overall a $2.24 money maker.

I also bought (10) of the Aquafresh Extreme Clean toothpaste Closout price $1.54 used $1.00 coupon for each and also received .50 off each for the Kroger Mega Event.

      Overall .04 per tube

      Sweet Deals !

Thank you all for all the hard work and effort you guys put into helping us…

    • Stork72

My local Kroger in Central Virginia had DampRid products on closeout and this past sunday there was a .50 coupon in the paper. I got the DampRid refillable Misture Absorber on closeout for .92 cents!  Also Glad Kitchen trash bags were on sale for 7.99, I had $1 off coupon that i printed last week, I was glad i didnt let my husband pick them up at the “wharehouse store”

    • lindsey

I don't know if anyone is aware of it or if it's just a regional thing, but I got a mailer coupon card from Kroger last week for the pharmacy where if you move a prescription to Krogers pharmacy you get a $50 credit on your Kroger plus card. I also had a coupon (I think it was in the 7/10 sunday paper) for $25 credit to your kroger plus card.

So today I went and switched 2 prescriptions over to kroger and got $75 credit! I purchased $50.30 (before kroger savings) $40.87 (after kroger savings) , and used my pharmacy money towards my purchase. The kid at the register didn't get my coupons scanned before he put in to use the pharmacy money, but all I had to do was take my reciept and coupons to the customer service desk and they gave me $6.25 in cash! $0 o.o.p. and i still have $34.13 left in pharmacy money on my kroger plus card

    • Darrrrksunshine

At my Kroger Brut Deodorant is on sale for $5 for 5. This is not part of the mega event.  If you go to facebook and like Brut you can print 50 cents off 1 coupon.  If your Kroger doubles coupons, it makes it free! Hope this helps someone.

    • dealdiva0613

Does anyone know how I can get the Kroger home mailer? I keep seeing it mentioned but have never gotten one. Thanks!

      • Dtcox

i called the toll free number . now i get them often in the mail never had after shooping there for 28 years till i called what fun now

        • dealdiva0613

          thanks! I will try that

      • lindsey

      • Gmcouponer

my husband and i have called about this and we have shopped at kroger for 15 yrs. we have not ever gotten them, we contacted kroger and gotten a new card like they told us too. still nothing!

    • Nvrenf

      Money maker on the Colgate Wisps – buy 2 get a $1.50 Catalina… 2 @ 1.19 = 2.38 minus Qs plus Catalina is +$1.12

    • Firgodes7

Just to let you guys know. The BIC razors were 3.99 at my Kroger (McDonough Ga). The 3.00 coupon is still good. So it make them .99 each!

Also the Alexia frozen Crispy fries were at closeout for 1.49. With the 1.00 it made it .49.

Thought I would throw that out to you guys.

    • Allison

Are the prices listed here for anyone or are they only if you have a Kroger Plus card?  We will be vacationing @ N. Myrtle Beach & I would like to do my grocery shopping @ Kroger, but the savings wouldn't be worth it if I have to get a Kroger Plus card since we don't have one in our hometown.

      • amy5217@msn.com

It only takes a few minutes for the card to be issued. It may be worth your time

      • Efranks41

I would get the card…great to have on hand. It has saved us a bundle!!

    • Emt4154

This may be a very silly question but on the mega event can you buy any 10 or do they have to be all the same- like 10 as long as they are part of the mega event? Or do the 10 have to be the same? Sorry 1st time at this event want to be sure!

      • breebree

        you can mix and match

    • Barnersb

I'm not getting the Kroger home mailer. I don't see anything on the website about how to get it. Help me out! :-)

      • Gillianstar

Call Kroger Customer Service at 1-800-576-4377. They will help you out

    • Tina

I did not get any Catalinas on the Colgate Wisp.  Still a great deal, though.

      • Margoren

        Same here.

    • N.M.

Got the Listerine Vibrant Whitening for $ 0.10. The Kroger's in Duluth, GA had it as a closeout price for $3.10. I had a catalina coupon for $3.00 from a while back.

    • Christmsaliz2002

      Hi everyone!

I noticed alot of questions pertaining to Krogers PAH (print at home) coupon policies. Well here it is from there corporate office. Thank my family member who works in the marketing department there. I told her we had an issue here in Atlanta, Ga about the coupon policy of PAH’s she got this from there manual at the corporate office. She said print it our and take it with you, if they give you a hard time present there policy to them. She said most times this will be the first time the store manager and cashier have ever seen it!

Hope this helps everyone in Atlanta who has experienced a problem :)

      Kroger Print-at-Home Coupon Acceptance Policy
Effective November 2007, all Kroger divisions accept industry-standard, secure print-at-home coupons. We recently partnered with Coupons Inc., the industry leader in print-at-home coupons, to offer print-at-home coupons on Kroger.com and all of our store banner websites. You may also find coupons on brand websites and legitimate coupon websites like Coupons.com. Help us make your shopping experience a pleasant one by keeping in mind these simple rules for using Print-At-Home coupons. We can only accept print-at-home coupons if they scan properly at checkout. Legitimate printable coupons are delivered using special software designed to print a properly rendered barcode on the coupon and limit the number of coupons printed. We will generally not accept “FREE product” (no purchase required) print-at-home coupons. It is currently an industry practice not to produce print-at-home manufacturer’s coupons for free product. Buy-one-get-one-free coupons and other values that have a purchase requirement are acceptable. We will usually not accept coupons for more than about 75% of a product’s value. For example, a $2 off coupon will be acceptable for a product that normally sells for $5 or more, but a $2 off printable coupon for a product that sells for $2.25 is unlikely to be legitimate. If there are exceptions, we are usually provided advance notice by the manufacturer.Coupons will be rejected if they appear distorted or blurry, altered in any way, or are obvious duplicates. You should always print the coupon yourself directly from the website or email that is offering it. Only then can you ensure you are printing a legitimate coupon. The coupon will never appear on your computer screen. A legitimate coupon is never sent as a graphic or PDF or sent in a Word document. Print-at-home coupons should never be copied, sold, or traded. They should not be photocopied or scanned and distributed to others. They have unique serial numbers printed on them and follow an industry-standard format. Coupons are never sold and you should not pay for someone’s “time to clip” or other service fee.For more information about using print-at-home coupons and to check coupons for validity please visit the Coupon Resource Center online at http://www.printcoupons.com.
