I had every intention of not doing this ad until Sunday before I saw the ad.  There are some great deals at Kroger this week!  These deals start Sunday 10/25 in the Southeast Region.  Don’t forget all the deals with Cellfire eCoupon matches.

This is the most complete list I can make it of all the deals that are participating in the Mega Event.  There are over 120 participating items and they are from areas all over the store.  You should have a great week of savings!

shoppinglist1

Remember:

  1. Load your P&G, Shortcuts and Cellfire Coupons before going out. (E coupons information)
  2. You can use a paper coupon with all the above e coupons WHY
  3. You do not have to buy 2 of B1G1 items to get the sale price
  4. Most Kroger stores double coupons that are .50¢ or less

If you are new  read up on what all this means and how to effectively use this list to save the most.

    • Mary

I think the 27th is Tuesday, instead of Thursday.

Thanks for all you do in making this a ‘great’ site. I visit here several times a day!

      • kittychatalot

the sales is Tuesday the 27th. I checked the flyer~

      • M

I am confused- does this great list coordinate with the sale that starts Wednesday? (I live in Texas)

        THANKS!!!

        • eve

          M,
The sales are usually the same as the ones that start on Wednesdays here in TX. There are some regional differences, however. For one, my Kroger stores do not carry Tyson chicken.

      • Janey

The ad is going to be different in different areas. The sales at my Kroger start on Wednesday, so the 1-day moonlight madness sale is on Thursday.

    • Jennifer

I love this ad! Thank you for all the awesome work you put into this site.

    • Naomi

Thanks so much for posting this ad! I hope we get this deal on Wednesday. For once, I have coupons already on hand…woohoo! However, I’ll be busy as most expire on 10/31!

    • Samantha White

Is there a limit on how many $5 off 10 items per transaction?

      • jessica

        I just did 3 in one transaction…no problem !!

      • April

I just did three deals and asked the cashier how many you can do and she said ” no limit”

        • Bre

In Knoxville we can only do two per transaction. Bummer! Still I saved 70% this week so I was pretty excited, only had the strength to do one transaction with the kids!

          • Honey

Bre, I live in south Knoxville and my ad did not have anything in it about limits-I did 3 in 1 transaction.

          • Jenny P

I live in West Knoxville and I do three per transaction. I usually do multiple transactions during mega events and I use self checkout so I can count and make sure I purchased enough eligible items.

            • Beth

I live in Knoxville and the Kroger on Western Avenue does not limit how many you can do in one transaction. I did 9 tonight. My total before coupons was $210 and after was 21.34…Barely more than the tax!!! It was an awesome Kroger shopping trip!!!

          • My Kroger on Clinton Hwy in the Powell area of Knoxville usually lets me do 3, no problem. Have never attempted more than that, honestly. Hey, I wonder if the Fountain City Kroger that’s clearing its shelves for the move is participating?? That could be sweet!

      • tonya

I just did 5 in one transaction with no problem.

        • Teresa

So, I’m a little slow, make sure I understand. I can go get say 20 things on the mega sale & will get $10 off the total? Is it wise to ask before you make the purchase?

          • Teresa

Just got back from Kroger & they allowed 30 mega items at one purchase. I did the best I have ever done there! Spent $35.59 & saved $59.88! After the free stuff (after SCR) at Rite Aid, I am loving this!

            • Amy

              Is this Teresa, Kelly’s mom?!

      • Kimiko

At Ralphs in Southern California, the ad says there is a limit of 10 offers per household. I’ve also noticed that we have higher prices than you have posted. For example, the All Laundry Detergent is $3.99 (with the Mega Events savings) here, not $2.99 like yours and the Chewy Granola Bars are $1.99 (with the Mega Events Savings), not $1.49. :( Oh well. The cost of living here is more expensive all around, so I guess I should expect that!

    • Stephanie

Check your store for limits on the sale. Also, wanted to ad that there is currently the following Catalina available:

      Valid 10/9 – 11/1 | General Mills Fruit Snacks
      Buy 3 and get a $1.50 Catalina;
      Buy 4 and get a $2.50 Catalina;
Buy 5 or More and get a $3.50 Catalina.

      • ~*Brook*~

Is a catalina a coupon that prints out on your register receipt?

        • Catherine

Brook, Catalina is a machine that prints additional coupons separate from your receipt. They are usually manufacturer’s coupons, so the $1.50 on next order type of coupon can be used at Kroger, Publix, pretty much anywhere, even though they usually have “redeem at Kroger” printed on them. That’s what they WANT you to do, although it’s basically money back to use anywhere you like. :)

          • Stephanie

The catalina is a kroger coupon for our next order at Kroger only though, as is my understanding.

          • I typically use mine at Publix…I only go to Kroger for items on sale with coupons + e-coupons. They say manufacturers coupon, so technically you can use them anywhere, although you may run into difficult cashiers who don’t understand this(same thing with Register Rewards from Walgreens).

            • Candice

Okay, I’m new at couponing and trying to figure out how to save more money at Kroger. Can I use my Register Rewards from Walgreens?

            • Tanya

DO YOU USE RR ELSEWHERE BESIDES WALGREENS?

            • MelRae

To Candice and Tonya: My Publix takes Walgreens RRs. Several months ago, I asked at my Kroger about using them there. The manager said they could not accept them because of the “redeemable at Walgreens” logo. But it does not hurt to ask.

            • I think it just depends on your store or even your cashier. My favorite Publix takes any coupon that will scan and another one even closer to Kroger & WG will not take either…they think they are competitor coupons, even though they say manufacturer coupon and will scan and get reimbursed. Just ask at customer service! I love that my Publix will take them…shopping @ Kroger & WG is a hassle for me with trying to keep up with these store credit-like coupons with such short expiration dates.

      • How do you guys know about these Catalina promotions? I was expecting the $2/4 Pillsbury items and the $1.50/3 BC fruit snacks, and neither had any signs in store and didn’t print at the register and of course my clueless cashier had no idea (they never do at any of the stores near me!). I had the same thing happen last time, I saw it on here, it didn’t print, I called Catalina with my receipt info and they mailed it out. Is this written somewhere in store? If I didn’t read this on here, I would never know about these promotions!

        • Janey

The catalina promotions are usually posted on the shelf, although there have been some that aren’t. If it’s not posted, you’re taking chances–they’re not always nation-wide.

    • Alena

How can I recieve Kroger Home Mailer? I recieve My Magazine from Kroger, but I’ve never seen Kraft cheese coupons in them! Thanks!

      • Amanda

Sign up at the Kroger website and make sure you give them your home address, not just email. I receive Kroger mailers with coupons about every month and recently I received about three in a month. Each booklet usually has a theme, frozen foods, back to school, eating healthy and so on. Also, most are manufacturers coupons, so occasionally I use them elsewhere if the deal is better. The Kroger logo can easily be trimmed off the bottom, so that no cashier puts up a fight (they say manufacturer coupon). Also, periodically Kroger sends me coupons based on my shopping habits. I love when they send me $ off coupons. If they don’t include a $ off your purchase q they may send freebie coupons, which are good too!

    • Kris

My cellfire has $1.00 on kotex used with paper q makes them free. Also had BC frosting $.50 on shortcuts used with paper q makes it $.17.

    • Eileen

at Kroger this week Smithfield bacon is B1G1 there is a coupon in this weeks ss 10/25/09 55cents of 1! thanks for all you do, wanted to share that

    • Susan

There is also a coupon for $1/2 Ore Ida frozen french fries or tater tots in the Fresh, Flavorful Frozen Booklet.

      • Susan

I also noticed there is a $1/4 coupon for the Lean Cuisine entrees in the back of the “Fresh Flavorful” booklet. Both coupons are manufacturer’s even though it is a Publix booklet.

      • Debbie

In our Richmond paper there was a coupon for $1/1 of the 4lb or 5lb size. I don’t know what size the one that is part of the deal is. It might be the same??!!

    • My store (Loganville, Ga) had a bunch of refrigerated items that aren’t listed above. All prices quotes are after .50 discount:

-Pillsbury cookie dough, $1.99 (various coupons available)
-Land o Lakes spreadable butter, $.99 ($.40 coupon makes it $.19)
      -I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter sticks, $.99 (maybe a coupon available?)
-Smart Balance Butter Blends sticks, $1.49 ($1 coupon available from an insert, makes it $.49)

Also, the Swiss Miss Dark Chocolate Sensation flavor was included at the sale price! Woohoo!

      • Christi

There is a coupon for $1 off any one package of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter sticks that expires 11/23/09. I know it came from Parade magazine in the Sunday paper, but I don’t know of the date.

        • Mary

If you go to http://www.icantbelieveitsnotbutter.com, you can print 2 .75 off coupons. :)

        • Chrissy

The link that Jenny has listed with the “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter” allowed me to print 10 .75 q’s making the butter .24 cents! This butter is great to use in baking, and that is a great price!

    • Becca

I couldn’t find the Surf coupon for $3 off the only one I found is a .75 off. Am I over looking it or something.

      • Michelle

It came from one of the magazines like Parade that comes in the Sunday paper and it wasn’t even in all of them. I had 6 papers and only got 3 of the $3 coupons. Used them today for free washing powder!

      • kelli

mine did not have either coupon

    • Jennifer

I just had a great Kroger trip. Saved 92%. All on stuff I use. I would have saved even more if my e-coupons would have all came off, but they never do. Oh well, still an awesome trip!

      • amy sanders

        jennifer,
if your e-coupons do not come off, contact cellfire or shortcuts, they will fix it!

        • margie

jenny i have tried to contact shortcuts numberous times because they have my old email address, and say my card number is linked with that. I have tried to change that several times, reregistering, etc. nothing works, and i can not get them to email me back. my cellfire coupons also dont come off. what does it specifically say on the receipt to show an e-coupon has been credited? thanks

    • Sam

The Trix yogurts are part of the buy 10 sale.
Also, the Febreeze noticables kits are on sale at my Krogers for $5.99.
There is a paper coupon for $4 off ( I got it within the last 4 weeks from the paper) and also there is a PG E saver coupon for $3 off. Freebie!
I was also able to buy enough for $15 off from the buy 10 sale.

      • Great find Sam! Thanks for sharing.

    • stephanie storie

I could not find the -$3.00 off Surf Detergent RP 10/11. I also could not find the -$3.00 snuggle RP 10/04. My flyers come from AJC (Atlanta). Are there different RP’s out there??????

      • Jenny

There are differences each week based on regions. Normally the AJC gets everything but some weeks you will not get a coupon that a smaller area does get. To see some of those difference compare a few cities papers here.

      • Carrie

The Surf coupon was in the magazine that came in the paper–Parade, I believe.

    • Hilary

Anyone get the tailgate mailer from Kroger? About a month ago we got one.. It had 4 coupons in it, 2 for $4 off $45, and 2 for $6 off $60! Even better deals! :)

      • Wendy

I got the tailgating mailer, but mine didn’t have the $$ off of a purchase. Only stuff like $2 off Private Selection Meats, etc.

I did do the Mega Sale last night and racked up! Got a TON of groceries for $50 and it was that much because I also had to buy about $20 in non-sale items.

      • Amanda

I always get the Kroger home coupon mailers, but mine (Richmond, VA area) did not have $ off coupons either! Sometimes I get them in the special coupons based on my shopping trips or they give some freebie item qs which work out to be about the same amount free.

    • Brittney

Does anyone know if the nature valley /post sale is still on?

      • Stephanie

If your Kroger deals are Sunday-Saturday, then no it is not still going on. If yours are through Wednesday, they are still going on.

    • Suzanne

I cannot find the $1.25 off of 2 Keebler Cookies coupon with the link provided. Are there any tricks to getting this coupon?

      • Sandra

I can’t find that keebler one either. Is it still available? Anyone know the zip code?

      • marina

        try 30188. There’s a 1.50 off 2 coupon

    • Just wanted to thank you for all your hard work. I went to Kroger today and spent $98 before coupons and after coupons only $1.53. Great site this is where I come for the best Kroger deals. Thanks!!! :)

      • Christine

HOLY COW!!! What did you buy? Please share!

      • Mindy

I want to hear this too!! Great job!

    • Brandi

Doubling internet coupons…I know I’ve seen others mention having trouble with this but I never had…until today. I went to Kroger to get the nature’s valley granola bars and gave them 4 $.40 internet printable coupons and the register automatically doubled them as usual and the manager said they would have to go back and override the computer and add $1.60 back to my transaction because the coupons said “do not double”. ANY ADVISE?? I left without my purchases. If this is how they are going to start doing things I am in BIG trouble with my deals! I need those double q’s!!

      • Shelley

The only time I had that problem come up was when the total showed they owed me money. They FREAK out over that! So, yesterday I could tell that they’d owe me some money at check out so I grabbed two candy bars while in line. Any total of $0.00 or a negative balance will make them nit pick your receipt and “un” double some coupons.

    • Michelle

Great trip to Kroger today (one of many I will make this week!) I saved 98%!!! Thanks for the hard work you do to help us save money!

    • Lena

Some items not listed in Mega deal list:

Pedigree canned dog food $1.00 before mega savings. There was also a blinkie for B2G1 free. I bought 3 cans for $1.50 (after mega savings) and got $1 off with coupon. So 3 cans for $0.50 or %0.17 each!

Oreo Cakesters are $2.89 after Mega savings. I had some of those $1 coupons from a previous tearpad. I wanted to try these so happy they were much cheaper!

Dial 3 pk soap is also part of mega event. Price after mega saving was $1.39. There are $0.35 coupons that can double (if applicable for you). They were for me so I paid $0.69 for the 3 pk. Not the absolute cheapest I’ve gotten soap, but I needed some!

Quilted Northern is already on the list, but fyi, our store had $1 peelies on the packages too.

      • Lisa

Where did you find the Dial coupon. please?

        • Lena

Lisa, it was from the Smartsource from 8/16 and 10/4. I am in the Atlanta area so my coupons come from the AJC.

    • MelRae

Seriously…is there anything at Kroger that is NOT included in this Mega Event? lol! I am super excited! Looks like the best ad I have seen for Kroger in months! I am even going to skip going to Publix in the morning and go straight to Kroger! It will be my first of many trips this week!

    • Angela

I wonder if this is the ad that will start on Tues in the Dallas Ft. Worth area?

    • lisaallynn

Do you have to buy 10 of the SAME participating items or can you mix them up? Thanks for all you do Jenny! This is so fun, it is like I would imagine hunting feels like for the guys. LOL

      • Delores

No you can definately, mix and match. I had 8Q’s for Activia(which from the way lines were, everyone in town has Activia in their fridge. LoL!).And 3 of the uncle ben’s rice. Happy shopping!

        • lisaallynn

Thanks! I just went and had a great time with all of those deals. I wish that I thought to ask two weeks ago, b/c I didn’t get the totinos pizza rolls b/c I only had 5 .50/1 coupons and I didn’t know what I would do with all of those pizza rolls! LOL!! I always would think, who the heck needs 10 of anything at one time and what a dumb sale! LOL. I feel so stupid now. LOL.

    • Jen S

I’m going to bed excited about waking up and hitting Kroger first thing in the morning! SO excited for this sale. I know that megas usually last two weeks, but Kroger seems to be pretty bad about restocking the non-grocery items. Let’s go Krogering!!

    • marina

Anyone have any luck finding the Pedigree canned B1G1 coupon?

      • Lena

        Marina,

Don’t I know you? :) If so then yesterday, I am pretty sure there was a Blinkie at the Macedonia Kroger with coupons.

        Lena

        • marina

Only if Free Chapel rings a bell!! :)

          • Lena

Nope! Must be another Marina that loves to save moolah!

    • Shauna

      PLEASE HELP!

      I am looking for the

-.50/1 Tyson Fresh Chicken product SS 10/04

It is not in my coupon folder so I looked at the 10/04 preview and it isn’t listed there at all. Was anyone able to find the coupon?

      • marina

        I don’t have it either.

      • Brittney

I also do not have this coupon

      • Debbie

There is a .55/1 in our 9/13 SS in Richmond for refrigerated Tyson.

    • lisaallynn

I know that you can freeze butter, but does anyone know if you can freeze these land-o-lakes spreads/spreadable butter with canola oil? If not, I am going to have to give some away!

This Kroger sale is so good, I just went shopping at my 24hr kroger at 1:00am! I was so afraid that things would be sold out. Not to mention that they are very lax about a gigantic pile of coupons. I was completely legit, but they never even checked.

      • Lisa you can freeze the LOL spreadable butter. I bought 20 for my n’bor earlier this year at Publix for free (bought the .50 coupons off ebay) and she freezes them just fine.

    • rebecca

THE CELLFIRE WEBSITE IS ACTING WEIRD…ANYONE ELSE HAVING TROUBLE WITH IT?

      • I had tons of problems with Cellfire website yesterday!! I had to restart my computer and then it seemed fine after.

      • anne

I have also been having trouble the last couple days…froze up my laptop every single time I tried to log in. was finally able to go back in today. maybe they finally fixed the problem??

    • Jen

Does anyone know how long this mega sale is lasting this time?

      • MelRae

Mega sales *usually* last for 2 weeks. I think if it were for one week only, then Jenny would have told us (if she knew).

    • kelli

I had a question about coupons and overage. For example, Bumble Bee tuna is 99 cents (before the 50 cents off from the mega event) but there’s a $1 off coupon. Will this coupon work? has anyone tried it yet? or has anyone tried any of the coupons that are for more than the item before the 50 cents off?

I’d love to get some more free tuna (and other stuff) and this would be great because it has overage but my Kroger told me that they can’t/won’t take a coupon that’s for more then the item.

      • Shelley

I have never had a problem with this at nashville Kroger stores, it usually just “ticks” on off of the total.

      • michal

yes it will work – i just bought some.

      • kelli

thanks so much for the responses. the problem that I had was with a item that was full price and the coupon was for more than it. I think that maybe if the item is on sale, the coupon will work. I guess I’ll go ahead and give it a try. I love free stuff!

        • margie

the cashier would not allow my $1 off coupon on the bumble bee since it was less than the coupon, so she called a supervisor who just took of $89 (our cost in atlanta), but I still got the $.50 off from the mega deal – so I made money on that.

      • Cindy

I only have problems if they have to give me money back or I have a $0 balance. If that’s the only thing on your list, you might want to pick up some gum or something so that you don’t have that problem

    • If you got the Nestle’s back to school calendar coupon book, it had a $2 off Edy’s ice cream when you buy 2. It makes the ice cream $1.49 when you buy 2 of them!!!

    • FYI – I think there’s a BETTER deal for catalina OYNO’s on Ziploc at Food City. I stopped by there to grab cheap Libby’s canned veggies for charity and they had Ziplocs on sale too. I bought 4 to use coupons on, and got TWO $2 OYNO’s!

Was NOT going to do Kroger or anything else this week, but I have a tough time resisting so much free stuff.

    • Hilary

There is a .55 coupon on the landolakes.com website!

    • Shelley

I cannot say THANK YOU loud enough for all of th work that you do on this website!! I am a stay at home mom of 19 month old twins and with your help I now spend $300 instead of $650 on groceries each month! When you have to buy at least 10 gallons of milk and 250 diapers a month every penny saved is absolutely wonderful!!!

    • michal

great week! thank you jenny . bought the Pillsbury and then used the 4$ to buy the other staff – i paid 19$ and saved 65$ .

    • Elaina

I’m in Nashville. Does anyone know if we will have the Tuesday Madness sale? I called Edmondson Pike and they didn’t know anything about it nor was there anything in the ad about it.

      • Laura

There’s no mention of it in my ad either. (my ad is good for Green Hills and areas west of town)

        Sorry :(

        • Peggy

There was no mention in the Murfreesboro ads of the candy sale. I asked about it today, and one of the managers mentioned a Wed-Fri. sale. I never got a real answer, but he seemed to think candy would be in that sale.

          • Our Thompsons Station store rarely has as many sales and specials as you see here, and the mega sales selections are extremely limited. It’s not often I find a good match between this site and Kroger’s, I don’t know what makes us so radically different.

      • Lana

No, Nashville stores are in the Louisville Kroger region. The deals are similar with some overlap with this list — but not identical. Kroger has some very regional ads. Go to the Kroger.com website to cross check :).

        • Ashley

I saw several commercials for a Thursday~ Sunday sale special in the Nashivlle area.

        • oooohhhh, that’s why!

      • Jenny’s post is based on the Atlanta area/Southeast region sales. The Nashville stores are part of the Louisville region, not the southeast region. A lot of our items will either be priced differently, or not on sale. For example, in our region, the Carnation evap milk is $.79 after mega, not $.49 and the Bella razors are not bogo.

    • marina

My Kroger didn’t have the Land O Lake Butter Sticks marked as part of the sale. Anyone try getting these?

      • Honey

I bought them as part of the sale in Knoxville, TN.

      • Jennifer

The butter is not. The margarine is.

    • Mary

I found a coupon for $1 off 2 Nutri Grain bars here http://www.snackpicks.com/coupons_myaccount.aspx

    • your list is amazing! Thanks so much and the print feature rocks!

    • Kris

Sunny D is part of the sale at my kroger and their website has 55 cent coupon.

    • Beth

HELP! I can’t seem to locate the ecoupon for Duracell. When I log onto P&G, its not there. I’ve also clicked onto Kroger’s site and have seen the $1 off but when I click on it, it takes me to P&G, where there is only three unrelated coupons.

      • Debbie

They give you a certain amount of time to download the coupon. If you miss the deadline to download it, it disappears. But, if you downloaded it, then you can use it for this sale.

    • Honey

Thanks so much for a great list! I wanted to add that in a recent Kroger mailer there was a $1 off colgate toothbrush making it free if you buy it as one of the 10 items.

    • The coupon you have linked for the Quaker Granola bars is from Bi-Lo- I just called my Kroger and they said that they will not take competitors coupons. ???

      • Jenny

The coupon is a manufacturer coupon that was distributed by Bi-Lo but can be used anywhere. It will scan without problems and will be reimbursed just like any other manufacturer coupons they have.

        • Cheryl

Kroger on Lake Murry Blvd in Irmo, would not take the bilo coupon. They scanned it without a problem but then backed it out and handed it to me when they saw the BiLo. I told them it was a manufacture coupon but the cashier said but we don’t take anything from BiLo. I wasn’t going to argue.

    • Erin b

Saved a lot at kroger tonight but am bummed bc their Catalina machine was broken and I didn’t get my 2.50 oyno q for buying 4 fruit roll ups. I was planning on using it toward my had-to-have-it cat food purchase. Is there anything I can do? When I asked about it, the cashier just said the machine was broken.

      • Wende

Yes, call the 1-800 Kroger number and tell them what happened. They will either issue a credit to your Kroger card, or send you on to the Catalina company who will verify against your receipt and then mail you the coupon in 2-4 weeks.

      • Jenily

        Hi,
For the cat food I have gotten 80 (almost) FREE fancy feast appetizers (spending 4.50 for the extra coupons I needed) I just went to ebay and bought 40 B1G1 manufacturers coupons for 4.50 and printed out 40 of targets B1G1 ( organicgrocerydeals.com Forum on top click on coupon generator) I have used 10 of each in a single transaction without a problem making them all free and I use them like I would a can of cat food. My cats love em too.

      • Amy

go to customer service desk…they’ll either give you cash or issue a Kroger gift card for the amount…last week I got a gift card for $6 because the machine printed blanks

      • Christina

We have this problem often. Ask at the customer service counter for the number for Catalina Marketing (they had to ask a couple of different people, but finally got it for us) and call them with your receipt (they need some info off of it) and they will mail you the coupons that you missed.

    • tonya

I just got back from Kroger and spent $22 on 53 items….only on the Mega Deals and saved $115. What a trip…that’s over 80%. I did get a few things that I wouldn’t normally buy…but will use and enjoy! That’s less than $.45 a piece. Can’t beat that with a stick. If I met ya Jenny….I’d tell ya that I love ya!!!!! :)

    • Shauna

      GREAT CATALINA PRINTING!!

Krusteaz Pancake Mix $1.17 (after -.50)
-.50/1 Krusteaz Pancake Mix SS 10/11

I got 6 mixes and then 3 coupons for $1 off your next kroger purchase printed!!
I would guess that for every 2 you buy you get $1.

      • Debbie

Shauna, thanks so much for telling us about this. This is great and my mom loves this mix!

    • Adam

Anyone else having issues with the BC Fruit Snack OYNO? Bought five tonight and nothing printed. Does it help to bring it up with Kroger custoemr service?

      • Posted above; mine didn’t print for the BC or the Pillsbury deal. There wasn’t any signage in my store, but there never is! I called Catalina and they are mailing me my coupons. Mine never print and I can’t help but wonder how many people lose they money they should be receiving because (1) they don’t know about the promotion, or(2) they don’t print. Very frustrating! I only shop Kroger for Mega events because of this!

    • scott

just came from krogers in southern illinois. had printed my list from your site, only took coupons for those certain products, ( we buy alot of coupons on-line), kept a running total of how many mega items i was buying, (to make sure i ended with incremant of 10 ),ended up with 250 items, ( 25 x 5.00 = 125.00 ). total before mega and coupons, $395.00, total after mega discount and coupons, 55.00, then it spit out the 3.50 cantina for the 5 fruit snacks but then, 1 after another it spit out 15 – $1.00 ones for the 30 boxes of Krusteaz pancake mix i bought. so that was cool. did not expect that. so kroger paid me .33 per box to take them from there store. foodbank in town will like it to. me and wife do this every week. our total annual savings at the bottom of this kroger receipt is now at over 6,300.00 and there is still over 2 months left in year !!!

      • Debbie

        Wow! that’s awesome!

      • JessC

        WOW! Now that’s fun!

      • JC

That’s fantastic! Great job. It’s awesome that you and your wife contribute to your local foodbank.

    • Jamie

Pepperidge Farm Crackers are part of the Mega even $1.99 (after discount is applied), plus there are $1.00 off printables, AND to make the deal even sweeter, there are peelies on the boxes for $3.99 mail in rebate (they say try me free today)! Enjoy your free (or even possible money maker crackers)!!

With that said , I had an awesome trip to Kroger yesterday! Saved 75%!

Jenny, I had some problems at the register. I am not sure if you have heard a rumor about this or not. Apparently, Kroger is having problems with printable coupon fraud, and may start a new policy?? Only 1 printable per item per purchase. For example: I had multiple printables for the same item ( 3 printables for 3 boxes of platex gloves, and so on). They let me use my mountain of printables yesterday, but it took me longer to check out, then it did to fill my buggy full! If Kroger changes their coupon policy, I will be a Publix only girl from now on…Oh, and my $2.00 off my next purchase for buying 3 ziplocks didn’t print either. So, back to Kroger I go today!

      • Cathy

        Jamie (and others who use internet coupons);

I copied this from the cashier handbook at Kroger (this info comes from Atlanta and is official policy for that division). Just how loosely or strongly each store enforces it is anyone’s guess.

“We do not accept free item coupons from the internet. We will only accept two (2) internet coupons per manufacturer product per visit per day. We reserve the right to reject any internet coupon that is altered or does not scan properly.”

For the catalina cuoupons that are from Bi-Lo or elsewhere, if they say manufacturer coupon they should be accepted. If they are not, just politely ask to speak to a front-end supervisor or manager. One of them should be able to help.

        • jamie

Thank you for that info Cathy! Gosh, I wish that this was being enforced all of the time , or at least stated somewhere . It makes it confusing for us couponers :) I guess it makes sense, as most of the internet q’s have a max of 2 prints anyhow ( I just get my hubby to print some, my neighbor, etc when it’s something really good :)

    • I found a peelie for $.50/2 gatorades at QuikTrip. This makes for FREE Gatorade at Kroger this week!!!!

    • gina

THANKS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH for this amazing list

    • Sheree Harris

Does this work at all Krogers? I am in Ottawa Illinois.

    • Lana

Wow, just got done with the list. I hope the trip fulfills my great expectations! Thanks Jenny – you rock!
By the way – has the Ziploc promo ($2 off next trip) been pritning for others?

      • Mary

I didn’t get the $2 off next trip coupon for Ziplock bags, either.

        • Cheryl

I bought 9 boxes of various sizes of ziplock bags. I got 3 – $2.00 off of my next trip.

I got $1.50 for three betty crocker fruit snacks and 1.00 for Uncle Ben’s rice, as well as 4.00 for Pillsbury. I bought 8 cans of Pillsbury but only received one 4.00 off my next trip.

      • anne

I bought 3 ziplocks today and got the $2 catalina….Cashier took it from the machine and scanned it for me right there and then to reduce my total:) YAY

    • AJ

Just noticed a deal that was not really stated. I love lots of yogurt and am not very picky about which one I get.

      Kroger
      YoPlus Price 1.99
Coupon 1.00 off purchase of 1 (Random from web)
eCoupon 1.00 off purchase of 1

FREE plus counts toward your mix and match

    • Stephanie

Can anyone verify that the I can’t believe it’s not butter sticks are included in the mega event? I went today and they were not marked but I am trying to plan my next trip and would like to include these if they are.

      • Julie

They are included. I got some yesterday.

    • Stephanie

Thank you for letting me know. I was dissapointed when it was not marked. I have some $1 off one coupons so it will be free butter for me!

    • Teresa

I bought 2 of the playtex gloves @ .50 and used the $1 q, at checkout got a cat q for a $1 off any playtex gloves, so on next Kroger trip used it to get 2 more pairs for free, and received another cat q for a $1 off any playtex gloves, Krogers just keeps giving these away!
      Love the Kroger mega event!
Thanks Jenny for all you do!

      • anne

I got the same $1 catalina, but instead of purchasing 2 new pairs at $49/each to use on the cat, I only bought one pair and used the $.51 overage against my other groceries – and a new $1 cat printed for my next shopping trip:)
        Thanks for the tips!

    • Beth An

Pillsbury Grands Jr. biscuits were 76 cents a piece at my Kroger and counted towards the catalina deal. So, with 2 of the 30 cents/2 coupons, 4 of them were $1.84 with a $2 catalina. And I got lucky somehow and a $3 catalina printed off instead. Yay!

    • margie

I know this is late in the week, but if you get the home mailers of the Kroger books there are several coupons that will make some items free or less than $.50, after the mega sale and coupons – 2 liter cokes ($2 off wyb 4) makes them about $.50 each; dannon $1 off 4,6, or 8 packs – stackable with other dannon coupons; Kroger doesn’t give any overages, I have found out. Made $.50 each on two bumble bee pouches, with coupons and mega event deal.
All total I bought $100 worth of groceries for $41. Too bad I didnt check the mail before going shopping the Kroger home mailer had coupons for $5 off $45; and $6 off $60 – good thru 11/4 and 11/11.

      • GG

How do you get to receive the Kroger mailers that you speak of?

    • Heidi

Is the Right Guard Sport the spray or stick deodorant?

    • Mary

I got a .75 off Ghiradelli brownies coupon at checkout as well as a $1 off my next order for buying Ghiradelli. With the mega sale price and coupon I used, I scored 2 very cheap brownie mixes. My family’s favorite, too.

    • Erica

Kettle Chips are also on sale and you can use the coupon from a few weeks ago. They were actually part of Tuesday sale so you could get them for $0.50 each which is a steal! They aren’t the cheapest of potato chips but they are healthier and more natural.

    • Marie

My store had the YoPlus included in the MegaSale at $1.49 after sale discount. Pair this with $1 MQ and $1 ShortCuts EQ for $.51 MM :)

    • GG

Mega sales are wonderful…………Got $118.00 worth of groceries for $29 dollars and change……also got a catalina for $1.00 off my next purchase……..great

    • Meg

I loved the Mega Sale!! Got 5 sets of B10/G$5 off my order…my total before coupons was $143.77, after savings,40+ coupons and a bunch of ecoupons (that I always load, forget, and enjoy the surprise!), I paid only $28.79, savings of 80% -THANKS SO MUCH JENNY!!!!!!!

    • Carla

Oh…I am SO disappointed!!! I have been (im)patiently waiting for our local Kroger ad to arrive today as our area sale starts on Thursdays. I have been so anxious to go and get some of these mega deals you all have been writing about all week. Looks like we only are getting a fraction of the Mega deal items in the North (Northern Indiana) that you all are getting down south! :( Also, my Kroger will not take internet coupons that when doubled will make an item free! So no free Starkist tuna free for me last week… You all are so fortunate to have so many great grocery store options with great deals. I guess Kroger doesn’t feel much competition up North so the deals are not as good.

      • kelli

you probably have more items included in the sale then you think. There are only a handful listed in the ad for my store.

      • Jenny

Remember, Kroger only advertised 1/4 of their mega items so you probably do have most if not all of these deals. Their ads are horrible at actually telling you whats on sale.

        • Carla

Thanks Kelli and Jenny…I will check it out tomorrow!! Now I have renewed hope of getting some of these great deals!

      • Peggy

There was a standing cardboard display near the entrance at my Kroger that had a checklist of all the Mega Sale items. It was very helpful!!!

        • Janet

Does the list have promotion dates? Is this Mega Sale good through next week?

    • kylie

I had a question about cellfire coupons and the kroger card… i just registered and it asked for my phone number, i put my current number and kroger card number… i don’t remember what phone number is associated with my kroger card since i registered for that card along time ago… when i go to kroger and check out will it still take my coupons off my card if the two phone numbers don’t match? this is my first time trying it so don’t really know?

      • kelli

I don’t think that the phone number matters, I’m almost positive I had a completely different number when I got my Kroger card.

    • I went today to get a couple of things (before the coupons I ordered online show up) and the store was totally out of a bunch of things ALREADY. I was disappointed and went up to ask the manager when they would be getting things back in stock and he apologized and said they would be back in tomorrow. THEN he offered to make it up to me with a FREE $5 gift card! I LOVE KROGER! I wrote a letter when I got home complimenting him on his customer service skills.

Question- What do you guys do when you know you’re going to want a LARGE amount of items? I ordered 20 Krusteaz coupons online and don’t want to make multiple trips or wipe out the shelves for other customers. Should I call ahead of time or something?

    • Dena

I thought that the Kraft Food & Family Magazine was free! I just went to sign up and it says that it is $13.98!? Is this the only way to get this mailer now?

      • Heidi

I get the magazine and have never had to pay for it. I’m not sure if they are going to start charging, I sure hope not!

      • Mandy

Apparantly it’s something new, I just recieved my “last free issue” today. Got a bill included in the plastic wrap. I have been getting F&F for over five years and now they are charging. Guess I will be missing the Q’s and recipes.

      • Jennifer

As of the Summer issue this year, they will no longer offer the magazine free. This makes me so sad. I guess I should have realized it when I didn’t get my fall issue this year. I just found my summer issue and there was a notice inside saying it was the last one. Oh well, its not worth $3 an issue.

      • meg

I got a renewal notice too – but it was for $6.99. I enjoy the recipes and coupons, so the few $ is worth it to me.

    • Jessica

First I would like to say “Jenny you ROCK”. I just discovered your site a few weeks ago after a return trip from FL and needed to restock alot. Did 3 mega deals on Tuesday, but 1 question. I have coupons for the bumble tuna $1/1 but they are for the premium pouches, do they take these on the .39 cent ones? I have to go back today to fix my coffee blunder accidently picked up the only one that was NOT on sale..lol Thanks for all your hard work.

      • kelli

The $1 off Bumble Bee coupons work on the small pouches (I assume these are the ones that are on sale), I bought some a few weeks ago when they were 25 each with the coupon. I wish I’d saved them now.

    • meg

Forgot to mention that there was a tearpad coupon on the display with the Frito’s -on sale for $1.99 – buy 2, get 1 free – and all 3 items qualified for the Mega Sale!!!
I hade carefully counted my Mega items twice, and the receipt said 51 – it was the “free” chips!

    • Ashley

There is a coupon for Scotch Nail Saver Sponge on their website.

      • Jenny

I checked earlier this week and it was expired. Has it been updated with a new expiration date?

        • Jennifer

Yes, it has a 12/31 expiration date now. If is for $1/3.

    • Kimberly

Okay, I did something really stupid tonight. I realized after I finished checking out that I only had 29 instead of 30 items for the Mega Event. Only $10 off instead of $15. Has anyone ever done this? Did you return to Kroger to try to fix it, i.e. returning items or asking if you could buy one more item? Just curious.

      • Alyssa

The customer service at my Kroger store is really good about letting you buy one more item if you miscounted for the Mega Sale. Just take in your receipt, show them the item count at the bottom and tell them you miscounted – it’s an honest mistake. In my experience, they have told me to go get another participating item and they refund the $5, less the purchase price of that item. Hope this helps!

      • Lyn

I have done the same thing and I went straight to the customer service desk and they let me get one more item and gave me the difference.

      • Christina

If you have the option of the self-checkout at your store, do that. It shows a little plus sign beside each item that is part of the sale and you can scroll up and down to make sure you count them up. We’ve been able to run back and grab an extra item quickly if we miscounted and then finish our checkout (especially when there are no lines).

    • Shonna

Thanks Jenny so much for your hard work. You have helped me feed my family now for months. I check you site before going to Kroger 2-3 times a week. It is 40 minutes away so I don’t want to waste my time searching for the deals. I go prepared.
Has anyone found out if the Mega Event is going on next week also. My Kroger in Morehead, Kentucky didn’t know as of yesterday.

      • Jenny

It is continuing again next week :)

        • Shonna

Thank you so much. I am so excited!

        • Janet

Thanks Jenny. Another 10% off on Senior Day next Wednesdy will make the Mega Sale even greater. Grandmama’s love to save money too!

    • Hsv mom

I am in Huntsville, AL and have not yet done my Kroger trip this week. I was looking at our local ad and it does not list things like Carnation evaporated milk or the tuna. Does anyone know if those offers will still be good here?

      • T

I live in Decatur and the milk and tuna is part of the sale here

    • Sonya

      Jenny,
I read where the mega sale is next week. Is that the same items or will it be different?? Thanks for ALL of your Great work.

    • nydia

Does anyone know the zip for the Keebler fudge shop cookies, or is limit reached? Thanks

    • Best. List. Ever!! I’m headed out to Kroger tomorrow and you just made my life soooo much easier! Thanks so much!

    • Heather

My closest Kroger is not as close as my other grocery stores so I never go there, but this week’s deals enticed me enough to go out of my way after work and get the deals. I had all my coupons ready and my Mega 10 all sorted out and ready to go.
Let me tell you, I had a horrible experience. They were out of everything I wanted. I tried aisle after aisle only to find them out of what I wanted. Furthermore, all the other things I wanted that weren’t Mega 10, weren’t on sale at my Kroger, such as the Hillshire sausages, the Pineapple & the grape tomatoes to name a few.
Finally I scraped together 10 things to get, and then the cash register it didn’t take off the $5. By now I had a headache, was exhausted, and was supposed to be home making dinner for my husband. They said the Steamfresh veggies weren’t part of the Mega 10. I said yes they were, they say so right on the price tag. They had to go check. Huge hassle later, I left with just my tuna, which I could have gotten free at Target too.
I wish I’d never gone. It wasn’t worth the hassle, they were out of everything, and the things I wanted weren’t on sale here. I’m sticking to Harris Teeter & Farm Fresh forevermore.

    • Amy Hopson

Has anyone had an issue with their Kroger store limiting web coupons to 2 per order? Mine tried to do this yesterday saying that they thought it was coming from corporate. They finally let me use the coupons….and still the manager could give me no straight answer.

      • marina

It all depends on your store. The kroger right next to me does that so I just go to the one 10 min. away and avoid the hassle.

    • bridget

Try the snackpicks website – they still have the $1/2 coupons .

    • Keep a lookout for Keebler peelies at your store as well. The smaller boxes of cookies are .99 after the mega-event and there are lots of peelies in the stores for $2/2 packs that apply to the smaller packages. Free cookies!!!

    • kelli

can anyone confirm that the same mega event is going on next week? I know that they usually last 2 weeks.

I’ve been extremely busy and haven’t been able to gather coupons and make it to Kroger yet this week. I’m hoping to maybe make it over there this afternoon or tomorrow but I don’t think that’s going to happen. I really want to take advantage of these awesome deals!

    • Kathy A

Quick question…I still have 5 $2/2 Cheez-it coupons 11.5oz or larger. Will these work for the Cheez-it in the mega deal?

      Thanks!

Oops, never mind. Just found the size listed on the list above! I’ve looked at way to many coupons today!!!

man what a great week… got 230 dollars worth of groceries for 65 dollars… and will be mailing in the tombstone pizza rebate thing too… when the cashier hit the total button it said i owed 155 still… and then take off 25 for 5 mega deals, still owed 130, meaning i saved 65 dollars in just coupons today…

also the Catalina machine spit out an advertisement for the tombstone pizzas, starting 11-6 buy 6 get 5 dollars off your next purchase… the kroger lady i talked to today said mega deals usually run 2 weeks, so the mega deal will still be going on next week too, meaning the pizzas will end up under a dollar… and if you split the pizzas into two sets of 6, you can get the 10 dollars in Catalina and then 10 dollars off your next bill… so 20 dollars back for spending 24 (minus any actual tombstone coupons you may have, i dont have any :( )

Can you stack coupons at Kroger? Also, can you use the Kroger Catalinas with a manufacturers coupon? New to all this and was just wondering. I got 9 of the mega deals last night, saved over 56% on my final total with that and coupons.

Jennifer: Did you get your $5 off for the 9 mega deals? I think you have to buy 10 items. I bought 42 today and only got $20 off (instead of $21.00). My dad made a fatal error and bought 39 items, but saved only $15, where he would have saved $20 if he’d bought just one more item (like Chapstick at $0.50).

I had 90 items in the mega deals, saving $45 on that. Sorry if I was unclear on that. Was very happy with my shopping trip this week.

Are all the mega 10 items this week gonna be on sale for the same price next week?

    • Kristen House

Wow! This was my first time shopping the mega event and I am so impressed!! I purchased 49 items for a total of $26.90! I saved $74.73 on my total bill ($21 in coupons, $20 with the mega deal, and 33.73 in plus card savings)- I can’t believe it! What a thrill it was to see those dollars peel off one coupon at a time! Thanks to all of you who are helping make these grocery savings possible.

      XOXO,
      K

I wasn’t going to go to Kroger’s, because I have been sick, but it was worth it. I just came home earlier with $39.00 worth of groceries for OOP of only $8.00 and that was a good deal. I got some stuff for free with coupons like the starkist tuna, butter, carnation milk and cookies.

    • Whew! Checked next week’s ad online and it looks like they’re repeating the sale… Had all my coupons and list together then came down with CRUD this week. Will try to get out tomorrow. I lost a few coupons expiring 10/31 but not too bad.

I’m glad it’s going on this week too! My son got sick so I couldn’t go. I’ve been bummed all weekend!

Just wanted to say a great big THANK YOU! I have been following your advise and coupon matches and have been saving my family money on groceries in the last month. This past trip to Kroger was my best ever. I did 5 mega deals in one transaction. My total before coupons was $113.14. After coupons and e-coupons my OOP was $17.45. I was amazed. I can’t wait to do it again. Thank you so much for your hard work.

Check your USA Weekend paper. Those nice little $3.00 off Surf Coupons are back. Free Laundry Detergent again this week at Kroger.
