Do you ever sleep Jenny? Thanks for all you do.

    • Loren

Jenny, I am deeply appreciative for the time and dedication you put into this site! It has helped me to save so much money! I have referred many of my friends here. As said above, thanks for all you do!

    • Cindy

Our lives have been revolutionized by your website. We, too, are very grateful for all the hard work you put in to make this website work so well. Thanks SO much!

    • Elana

Jenny, Thanks so much for all that you do. I live in Ft. Campbell, Ky. I am a stay at home mom of teens, a full time college student and an army wife with my husband about to be deployed againg in less than two months, so any amount of money I am able to save I will. My sis n law came for a visit from Chattanooga this weekend and we did some extreme couponing at the Commissary and Krogers. We got Suave deo for free. We were really happy about that. At the commissary they have the Marcel small steps TP 12 double roll packs for 3.99, we had $1 off coupons making them 2.99. When I rang mine up it took the whole 3.99 off, so I got two free 12 packs of TP. I love it. I love your site!

      • Kimmie

        Elana,

Glad you were able to save lots of money. Although the coupon, was for $1 off and it took the whole $3.99 you should’ve alerted the cashier that it wasn’t suppose to happen. When the commissary submits the coupons they will only get reimbured for a $1 therefore taking a loss. Also, the cashier’s drawer should come up short because she only has the coupons for a $1 and not $3.99. I had the same issue with this coupon and had to alert the cashier. I am not trying to be rude, only trying to tell you that it was wrong.

        • Kiki

Kudos to you Kimmie! Integrity counts!

      • Hi Elana! I live in Clarksville, TN so I’m a neighbor to you :)
I was just getting ready to do a post on my blog about other deals I saw at kroger this week- you can click on my bame to get to my blog…if you’re interested! The Kroger ad Jenny posts is for the Southeast region, and we’re in the Louisville region, so some deals will be different. :(

      • Theresa

Hi Elana:) I am a fellow military wife too so I know the feeling. I am at Ft. Jackson. I do not think you did anything wrong at the Commissary because it should be the cashiers responsibility to check the coupons. I used the same coupon at my local one but it was only on the single Marcel Paper Towels. The cashier had to type in the cost of the coupon and she checked the receipt to see how much it was. If they, the cashiers, type in the wrong price then it should be on them because that is their jobs. The Commissary is a great place to use coupons and shop considering they are already sometimes up to 60% off retail prices. I usually go on the web and check out their saving asile before I go. I hope all goes well for you.

    • Lauren

As others have said, thanks so much for all you do on this site. You are such a blessing.

Also ~ just found a .55/1 Cheerios original on coupons.com that would go good with the GM cereal sale this week.

      • Lauren

There’s also a .55/1 Original Cheerios from cell fire ~ found this out when I checked out yesterday. Ended up getting 2 boxes of Cheerios for $1.68 each.

        • Yolie

You can also go to the cheerios website and register to receive 4 $1 coupons they come straight to your inbox! I think it is only one per week though.

    • Vicki

I don’t see the Digornio or California Pizza Kitchen coupons. Is there a zip code I should try? Thanks so much.

    • i was just in kroger last night and here in NW georgia. tyson boneless skinless chicken breast was $1.68 lb!!!!!

    • Dora Pettit

Newbie here. Love this site. I was wondering what the kroger home mailer is and how do I get it? Thanks!
      Dora

      • Kim

It should come in the mail if you have a Kroger plus card. They mail them out periodically. The title of the publication is “My magazine”. I had to call several times though to remind them to please send me one. I now get them regularly.

      • holly

It took 11 months before I started getting mine! I signed up last January and my fist issue came in November. It will come eventually.

    • Libby

Be sure to check your emails! I got an email from kroger the other day and they had a link to my magazine and there were online qs (to card) that match up with this weeks sale items.

    • Michelle

I am usually a Publix shopper because everytime I’ve shopped at Kroger things have rung up incorrectly..they don’t seem to be organized. That being said, I’m loving that Colgate toothpaste 10 for $10, but do I have to buy 10 item with the 10/$10 promotion to get the $1 each price, or will they ring up separately at $1 each? I’m pretty well stocked on everything else. I guess if I have to buy 10 toothpastes it will still be worth it, it’s not like they’ll go bad!! Thanks!

      • Brandy T

You can buy as many or as few as you like. You do NOT haveto get 10 of the 10 for $10 items.

      • Angie G

Michelle, You do not have to buy 10 to them for $1 each. They will ring up that price no matter how many you buy.

      • Adrian

They will ring up $1 per no matter how many you buy. Also, Kroger is generally pretty good at giving you a complete refund for that particular item if it rings up wrong. Hope this helps!

        • Michelle

You ladies are awesome! Thanks for the quick response!!!!

      • Karen

Please note – naything that rings up at Kroger – you can go to the customer service desk and get it free! It’s only one of the item but all the others that rang up wrong you will get the difference back. Trust me – I have done it enought times – just pays to pay attention!

      • Karen Smith

Always know that Kroger will give you the item for free that does not ring up correctly! I have done that several times

        • holly

so true. When they lowered the price of Huggies, my pack still rang up over $9. When I asked about it, the cashier checked and then gave me the pack for free. I told them I still wanted to pay for it- but they refused and said it’s their policy to give it to me for free.

          • navide

I guess I’m the only one here having some different experiences with Kroger… When they rang my price wrong on a Cereal deal a few weeks ago, the manager just gave me back the difference! I knew that a friend in a different State (she’s in TN, I’m in AR) got reimbursed the full price, but I wasn’t sure it was a “blanket” policy.. But you’re saying that’s a company policy, right? I’ll definitely keep that in mind if/when it happens again!
            Thanks!

Mine used to, but not anymore. I know the manager and I will ask him about it next time.

I had the worst trip to Kroger the other day. The cashier refused to take a few of my coupons because he said I wasn’t allowed to use e-coupons w/paper coupons. I tried to explain to him that I’ve use them together all the time and he just kept rolling his eyes at me. Then he refused to take coupons that gave me the product for free. Saying he can’t give me free items. Anyway, I just voided my transaction and went straight to the manager. First, she accused me of fraudulently copying coupons. After I showed her that each barcode was unique and that I just printed them from a black/white printer, she said her policy is not to allow coupons that give the customer more than 75% off of an item. WHAT? I seriously think they pull these policies out of thin air just to discourage couponers. Anyway, I left at the brink of tears at the way they treated me. Never going back there again and I hope corporate will take care of them after my email. :) Sorry for the rant.

This is the store at Hwy. 92 in Woodstock, GA. I suggest avoiding this store at all costs.

        • stephanie

          Marina,
I am so sorry that you have had that experience. The first time that I ever shopped at Publix with my stack of coupons, I had a similar experience that left steam venting from my ears. I tried other Publix stores and have found that first experience to be an anomaly. I will say that after shopping at Publix for a few months, Kroger is seriously lacking in anything resembling customer service. There is only one employee at my Kroger on Hwy 20 in Cumming that is friendly/helpful. If you are new to couponing, don’t let this experience sour you on saving. Continue to stand your ground and keep plugging away…most of the time it is a lot easier than what you experienced. Good luck to you!

        • Jenny

Which kroger on Hwy 92 in Woodstock? I frequently shop at the one on Trickum Road and 92. They are wonderful there. Several of the cashiers know me as using a lot of coupons and they enjoy seeing how much I can save. Don’t let it get you down. There are some very coupon friendly stores out there.

          • Erica

My hubby and I shop at the kroger off of Trickum and 92. Our experiences are so up and down. Depends on the person and the manager on duty. Some days they take our coupons, and other days they are a pain in the….

One day I brought 55 cents off of a candy bar that was 50 cents. They refused it b/c of overage. I protested and they agreed to give it to me at 50 cents. I said okay. They did this and did not realize it doubled!!! I walked away with 50 cents because they wanted to save 5! In your face Krogers! LOL!

            • Honestly ever since Southernsavers made everything so simple i shop at Publix more..
BUT its always about which cashier you get (Publix or kroger).

kroger computers are TERRiBlE about overage.. i never even try it.. if my coupon says 1.00. and its .99 i won’t even try. the computer beeps..Not that i even want overage.. just free is fine..

Which is why i shop Publix more often.. However every cashier is different (there are 4 at the Piedmont Publix in Marietta that are plain meanies when it comes to coupons.. they hate them and will spend 3 minutes examining every coupon and pulling stuff out of your bags.. reading fine print. etc)

That being said some southern savers directed to the Sandy Plains Publix and they have been nicer. Plus its bigger and they have a lot of stock.

Also the i met a Kroger cashier at my garage sale and she said that Shallowford kroger was coupon friendly and they have been so far.. Also kroger at Parkaire is very nice too.. i like it when cashiers are excited about your savings!

Good luck and don’t let the meanies get you down. i remember crying or at least getting shaken up several times my first year..

            • Lisa

I have to say that I too prefer Publix to Kroger now that I have learned how to shop the southern savers way. I find that most Publix have better customer service as well.

              Thanks

        • Catherine

I also find Kroger not to be a friendly for coupons. I tried the Healthy Choice meals ($5 ecoupon + $5 printable) and the cashier told me they don’t accept any coupons over 50 cents in value! I started to ask if we could talk to Customer Service and looked at her badge as I was asking, and say she was the customer service manager. FAIL. So I took my $5 coupons to Publix, where they were having the same items on sale and used it with the Publix Yellow Advantage buy coupons. I am going to hit that sale two more times, since I have two more printables, and then I’m set with frozen lunches for a while!

I take a deep breath and just expect an issue with Kroger with coupons. I guess they have been burned by enough frauders to decide to punish everyone.

      • JOdi

Sorry to hear about your experience- I have been in that Kroger- the Kroger at Shallowford and Sandy Plains is much better. They are nice about coupons but I usually have something on the receipt that is not right- my strategy is to go to Kroger only when their toiletries, baby items are on a really good sale. I love the Publix on Sandy Plains – it is a great store and most of the cashiers are so nice. I have never had anyone there give me a hard time. The store is clean – now that I am learning the new layout (those of you who know the store are probably frustrated as well!). So give it a try!!

        • Some good news is that the last 2 times i have shopped at kroger their computers were able to accept a coupon that was a penny over..
          For instance
          Ester C on sale 4.99
my coupon was for 5.00 and it didn’t BEEP!

And also i had a coupon for Bumble Bee that was .50cents
          The item was .79
And the computer auto rang the bonus (double coupon) to .29cents

So maybe they are finally fixing part of their system..
          ?

Thanks so much, Jenny, for all you do in keeping the website up-to-date! Your website has been extremely helpful in helping me save more money and spending wisely…which has really helped our family budget out!

I ran in to Kroger’s this morning for some taco seasoning, and I saw that this particular store had McCormick’s Taco seasoning (and perhaps chili seasoning, too…I can’t recall) 10/$10. I’m not sure if this deal is just specific to my store here in Central VA, but wanted to pass this info along to all you Kroger shoppers!

    • April

I went to Kroger today to get the Lancets for $1. They didn’t have them for that price. Do you know if it is an area thing or was it in the actual ads? Thanks.

    • Margaret

Pillsbury brownies are $1 at Kroger this week. I had a coupon for .40 off that I must have clipped out of a paper some time ago, but I couldn’t tell you what date.

      • Should be the 11/8 Red Plum. :)

        • JenGC

          Dang! You go coupon Diva!!

    • Wendy

First of all, I would like to thank you for all that you do to help us all!!

Now for my question..I could not find a couple of coupons listed above in my January All You mag. Are the ones we get in the mail any different from the ones we get at Wal-Mart? Thanks for any help.

      • Tracie

The store version of All You has more coupons in it than the subscription version. Seems backwards to me, you would think that the subscriber would get more coupons, but that’s not the case.

    • America

FYI…there is a $4.00 mq for Brita pitcher or faucet mount in this sunday’s paper. It was in the Smart Source. Also, there is $1.00 off on brita multipack filters.

    • Susan

I’m in Memphis, TN. Our ads run Wed.-Tues. So is this the list for my upcooming week or the tail end of this week? Hope this question makes sense? Thanks!

      • Brandi

I am also on a Wed-Tues cycle and this ad will start January 20 for me in Murray, KY. Also keep in mind all the pricing is not exactly the same as Jenny posted. I have found great variations in the meat and produce and occasionally on other things too. Jenny’s list is still VERY helpful but I make sure to compare it to my local ad. If you don’t have the paper version of the ad you can pull it up at Kroger.com by typing in your zipcode. Good luck!

        • Susan

Thanks Brandi! I used to shop in Murray. We lived in Benton for a short time.

    • Hope

I went to Kroger today and they still had the Quaker oatmeal on sale for 1.88. This was my 1st time at Kroger and there are alot of deals that they don’t list in there weekly ad..you just have to look at everything. Also I noticed they have alot of closeout deals through out the store!!!

    • Terry

I have a bunch of Colgate Total coupons for $1 off – can I use those for the $1 Colgates? Or are they something different?

    • Autumn

Hi all! Does anyone know what zipcode to use to get the digiorno or California pizza Qs? Mine isn’t working.
      Thanks!

    • Gina

Interesting story about Kroger…I bought the B1G1 Nature Made vitamins and had a $1 off each. I bought four bottles with a coupon on each…unfortunately when I left the store I realized that they didn’t give me the B1G1 on two of the bottles. So, the next day I went to a store closer to my home to get them to give me the difference (actually, they are supposed to give you the money back for both and let you keep them). However, the girl at the customer service desk said I had to prove to her by showing her where it said in their ad that they were B1G1 or I would need to take them back to the store I bought them in (only about three miles away)…funny thing is it was not in their local store ad and she and two more customer service agents all said that each store has a different ad and they are different than what is in the weekly Kroger email as well as the ad in the Sunday paper…I compared them later, and they were right. However, on this particular item, I was right…they had the B1G1 stickers up in both stores for all the vitamins…so, one of the customer service agents said to give me the money back. It was a very interesting learning process. Seems that Kroger needs to really needs to be more consistent, at least regionally.

Can anyone tell me how to find the Kashi coupon ($1.50)? I have been all over there web-ste. Thanks, Christine

      • Jimmy

Anyone ever find the Coupon online?

    • Megan

Hey, I’m sure a lot of you have already printed these, but for those who haven’t….there’s a StarKist Tuna coupon for 1.00 off 1 from VocalPoint. makes them FREE! :) http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=zalkabw15365329&bt=vg&o=61118&c=SK&p=ew1Gv4I5

    • The glade tin cans are clearanced to 1.74 and the coupon in the cans are 1.50 and you can also get the refill for free if you have the coupon buy any glade scented candle holder, and get a refill pack FREE. I like free !

      • Joanne Horan

Someone already took the q’s in the can. Not one to be found. I know you’re right about the q, because I have bought these before and the q’s were in the cans.

    • Courtney

i was looking at my online kroger account and checking out my kroger e-coupons. i noticed that the healthy choice $5/5 e-coupon was still on my active coupons list. i used it last thursday, so i thought it would be gone. i also noticed that it shows i have redeemed a healthy choice $5/5, but still shows the coupon as active. does that mean i can use it again? i have another IP healthy choice $5/5 so i think i’m going to try it tomorrow.

      • It won’t let you use it again. I already tried. I have several e-coupons still listed in my account that I know I have already used. They just won’t come off. Hopefully kroger is working on it.

        • Courtney

thanks for letting me know! i didn’t make it out to kroger yet, so you saved me a trip. :)

        • Courtney

went to kroger today (our sales start over on thursdays) and used another $5/5 mfc. q. i didn’t get to use the e-coupon a 2nd time, but thought i would post for anyone interested that they had several meals on closeout prices! i bought 5 for $1.60 each = $3 for all 5 after coupon! still a pretty good deal!

    • Rachel

Blistex chapstick is on sale for $1.09, after doubled 35c coupon from last Sunday’s paper-SS 1/17- it is 39c.

Pampers wipes tubs are on sale for $1.99. After I used the pampers wipes coupon that printed from the register after a previous purchase they were 99c.

The Hunts pasta sauce shortcuts ecoupon for 45c/3 did not work even though I bought what was pictured. Still a good deal at $1 for a large can. Not sure 45c is worth the trouble to try to be reimbursed.

The Buddig Deli Cuts (2.50) are only 1.50 for 12 oz after the coupon from the Kroger My Magazine mailer.

Also, you can get his/hers Kroger cards and load more ecoupons onto hubby’s card if you really want more of a good deal. Its a little confusing to remember which ecoupons are on which card but its nice if its something you really want more of.

      • Tonya

My Hunt’s ecoupon didn’t work either. Be sure to email them and let them know. They have always fixed it in the past.

    • Rachel

The medium 14 oz box of Cheerios is 95c after the 55c shortcuts ecoupon and the $1 coupon from http://www.coupons.com. I don’t see it on the web site now but maybe you printed it off a couple weeks ago like I did. This size was gone in the cereal aisle but there were more on the end of the aisle.

    • Carrie Blackburn

The Kroger in Richmond Hill Georgia has decided they won’t take printed coupons over $1.00. I went in w/ my Huggies coupons last night and they wouldn’t accept them. Luckily, I had the ones from last week’s paper, so I was able to use them. I did mention to the cashier (who probably) didn’t care one bit, that Publix accepts them no questions asked. I just wish they put their huggies on sale a little more often.
