Any great Stone Mountain, GA locations? We will be there this weekend for a Bible Quiz meet; I am so excited!!!! Normally, the closest Kroger to me is 1.5 hours away :(

      • lyssibee

There are several Kroger stores in Stone Mtn. The Southeast headquarters are close in Tucker/Northlake, so most of the stores are well run, even if they are older buildings. I shop at the Tucker location (on Lawrenceville Hwy). There is one nearer to Stone Mtn that is really big (on Rockbridge Rd). You can find a listing of all the nearby locations (with a link to direstions) on the Kroger website. HTH!

      • freya336

I shop at the Kroger at 78 (Stone Mountain Highway) and Bethany Church on a regular basis. They always have great “manager specials”, especially on the bread and buns, but always throughout the entire store. They're pretty nice in there and the store itself is pretty nice/clean/etc, too.

      • asanders

I shop at the one on Rockbridge Road each week–GREAT store!

    • Rachel

There's a $1 coupon for honey wheat Thomas English muffins in the March All You mag on pg. 88. Would go nicely with the B1G1 sale if this flavor is included.

    • Jen

There should be a .50/1 betty crocker muffin mix on coupons.com as well.

      • Anonymous

Shortcuts.com also has a .50/1 for the betty crocker muffin mix.

    • seeker

In a recent (got last week) Kroger home mailer, I got a $1/2 Pop Tarts coupon.

    • Summer

Does anyone know if the Purex catalina deal is still going on or the date that it will end?

      • kelli

the catalina that I got last week says that it's going on until 3/7

        • Summer

Great! Thanks so much! Just bought my ebay coupons. I don't guess the catalina is rolling?

          • faith

            Kroger cats always roll.

        • freya336

Just shopped Kroger this morning (Tuesday) and was surprised with a Catalina for the Purex. It says it's from 1/11 – 3/7, buy 2 and get $4.00 coupon, buy 3 or more and get $5.00 coupon

    • Question: The .35/1 coupon in the 1/31 SS says “any 8.5 oz soap”, will this one work with this deal since the 7.5 oz are on sale?

      • wende

It will work, BUT it is not the correct thing to do. Just because it scans, doesn't mean you should use it on a product it's not intended for. I think she is leaving it on there in case others do not have the size restriction as I reported this to her last week and she never noted it next to the coupon. Different areas get different coupons.

    • yelik01

what was the Purex Catalina deal?? bc i bought some and didn't receive any q's

      • kelli

the cat I got last week says:

        “Now save even more!
Purchase Dates: Buy Purex 50 oz. laundry detergent between 1/11 & 3/7

        Buy (2) & get $4.00
Buy (3) or more & get $5.00…..coupon off your next order

All items must be purchase in one shopping order. Limited to products in stock. No cash back. Offer expires 3/7/2010.”

        • holly

So is the purex natural elements included in this sale?

          • peysmom

            Yes!

            • Beth in TX

here is a post that lists the current Kroger Catalina offers – it’s a GREAT resource since I rarely see them posted at my store!!!

              http://mommysnacks.net/snack-summary/kroger-catalina-offers/

            • yolie718

What can you do if you did not receive your cat? I purchased 6 pilsbury grands biscuits and no cat and when I called the manager to let him know he was no help. It was almost as if he didnt know the deal was going on. That's 4 bucks!!!!

            • jen

There is a catalina telephone number you can call. It is 1 888 826-8766 option 3. I have called it several times. You tell them what catalina you did not get and they ask you some questions. Usually they call you back the next day after checking. They sent me the catalina in the mail.

            • yolie718

Thank you for the # I will definately give them a call.

            • ermajean

              confused…what is a cat? thanks

            • yolie718

cat is short for catalina which is a coupon that prints along with your receipt for $ off your next purchase.

You guys need to read the postings. The purex deal was pulled since last week, but I'm still seeing a lot of people asking about it. There's a lot of info on site, but again, you need to take the time to read through it.

    • I have a question. If I have a Catalina Q from Bi-Lo for the Healthy Choice frozen meals…can I use it at Kroger? I plan on going to the Kroger off of Lake Murray Blvd in Irmo area. I was wondering if anyone had problems with that there?

      thanks:)

    • jjjmrutter

Our Kroger ad had Hillshire Farm Lunch Meat b2g1 free. 2/$7. I went to Kroger yesterday (Fountain City, Knoxville) and it was not marked, however, it rang up correctly. I used 3 ~ -.35 (dbl to .70). So I got 3 lunchmeats for $4.90 ($1.63 each).

    • connieb03

At my Kroger, you get a $4 register printed Q when you buy 2 Purex!!!!!!

    • Sasha

Kroger would not accept the buy one get one free Boulder chip coupons. I was told starting this week they will no longer accept BOGO internet coupons and only two like internet printables will be accepted. The manager I spoke with said people have been using 30 of one coupon (I think he may be exaggerating) so corporate is now going to enforce their coupon policy dated October 9, 2006. I'm in Virginia Beach.

      • Beth

I had the same experience….would not take the Boulder chip BOGO. The cashier rang them up and then asked someone next to her and took them back off. (Johnson City, TN)

        • SB

Beth, I ran into the same problem at the Kroger store in Johnson City. I was trying to use the BOGO qpons for Little Ceasars. I have researched their policy and it states they will accept internet BOGO coupons, but not Free internet qpons with no purchase. I wrote corporate and I am waiting for a response.

      • id ask them to show me a copy of that policy

      • Peg2001

I work at Kroger and yes, people do bring in 30 or more of the same internet printed coupon and use them. i think it is unfair, as whenever i have tried to print a coupon it allows me to print one only!! People are being fraudulant by getting one off the internet and then copying the others. I personally think that they should limit the printed internet coupons as you cant tell if they have been copied.

        • Beth

Actually there are lots of security features so that you can tell if a coupon is a copy.

        • kelli

I'm sure that there are lots of people who use copies of coupons but I can tell you for sure that just because someone has a pile of printed coupons, that doesn't mean that they're fake.

I've got 3 computers (2 of them are old laptops but still work for printing coupons), meaning I can usually print at least 6 of each coupon. Also, my fiance is a huge computer nerd and has about 6 computers on his desk (and a bunch more not hooked up), meaning I could get an additional up to 12 totally legitimate coupons. If I use the computers of my family members (none of them coupon), I could get even more.

I understand that stores want to protect themselves from losing money, but if someone comes in with a pile of 30 coupons, it's really easy to check if they're all the same. Most coupons have a unique code on them. Also, most of them have a line of text going all the way around it that says when it was printed. If these two things are identical on all of the coupons, they're obviously fake. If they're different, they're probably not fake.

          • kelli

Before anyone jumps all over me for printing so many coupons, I wanted to state that I rarely print more than 2-6 of each coupon.

            • $SavinMom

I also have three computers at my house and if it is a super deal or something that I really want then I will try and print them on all my computers. It is also possible to get them from friends who like to trade for coupons! They should be able to tell the photocopied coupons for the original printed coupons, especially if they are in color!

          • I agree with you Kelli, just because someone has a pile of internet printed coupons doesn't always mean their fraudulent. We have four computers at home and a computer at work, which I could use to print coupons from all legitimately. So if I print 2 coupons from each computer I could end up with anywhere from only 2 coupons to 10 coupons for one product. I don't normally print that many but it is possible and it is totally legitimate. I hate to see people who are copying coupons and using fraudulent coupons, they ruin it for the rest of us.

        • $SavinMom

Actually, you can print two of each internet coupons from one computer, but that is the limit. I have only encountered one coupon that would only let me print it once in my five months of couponing. Something to think about!

        • lynn53

I thought most stores have a limit of 10 like items with coupons? For example, if you have 10 items and 10 coupons that's all you get for that Kroger card. I think that would be the best way to handle it. I don't think they should NOT accept a printable coupon because some people abuse the system. JMO, though. Because when I was a cashier, you could always tell when someone copied it. It was annoying and disheartening for us that just want a good deal but not at the expense of the store.

      • savermac

Kroger in TN is accepting this Boulder BOGO coupon, used today. I had no problems. Maybe it is just that store. I'll be watching to see what others say.

    • Leah

I bought Purex detergant -2 bottles and then 2 bottles of fabric softener..$2.19/each with .35 off coupons which were doubled so I paid roughly $1.50 each. Here's the kcker..the register printed out a $4 coupon off my next grocery purchase courtesy of Purex. :) This is the second time this has happened to me so I think I might go back today and try it again!

    • Allison

Just FYI: The Kroger in Irmo, SC was out of “coupon paper” on Monday, so the Catalina for $2 off your next purchase when you buy 3 Ziploc bags didn't print. When I asked about this, the customer service rep just gave me $2 cash. However, I had to ask, as the cashier didn't say anything. Just keep up with any catalinas you should be getting.

    • Beachgirl

Where do you get signed up fo rthe Kroger Home mailer. I am registered on the website, have a store card, get fuel perks, but have never received a home mailer….Help?

      • freya336

I've been wondering the same thing, so I'll be watching for a reply with you. ;)

      • Daphne

I emailed Kroger (used the Contact Us link on their web page) and asked for them to mail me coupons to my house and they did.

    • waymire

      JENNY!

do you think it would be possible to put a scan of the actual ad on your list, like you do for wags and cvs? it would be sooooo helpful to us in different regions who are off cycle with you and trying to figure out what week is what. its usually not so hard, but they have been doing so many of the same sales week after week lately.

      thanks so much!

      • Susie

I'm in another region too, so like you I am watching these ads first before mine comes out. Jenny does put the dates of the ad in the title- hope that helps!

        • waymire

yes she does, however her ad dates to not align with mine. my store changes ads in the middle of the week. i can usually tell for sure which she is on by what is on sale, but the last few weeks the sales have been very similar and its getting really confusing. just a suggestion since she already does that for the other stores.

    • River

Kroger in Irmo, SC on Lake Murray Blvd. would only accept two internet coupons for the same item. I had 4 Betty Crocker muffin mix coupons, but she would only take two. The cashier told me that has always been their policy, but sometimes I have cashiers that take more than two. Audrey was the cashier.

    • Rachel

I used the $2/2 coupons for Orville Redenbacher's 100 Calorie Smart Pop Popcorn from the savealot web site at Kroger last night and got 6 (4 count) boxes for 69c each after the 30c mega deal discount. The savealot web site will let you print more than twice so its a great opportunity to stock up.

Breyers Ice Cream is $2 (48oz carton) after the mega sale discount and the $1/2 coupon from the Kroger Daytona My Magazine mailer.

      • courtney_80

        YAY!!!!!!!

you will probably think this is nuts, but i kept thinking of you every time i got my coupon book out! so glad it was returned to you. those things take lots of time and effort to get started. happy couponing! :)

    • donellaw

Good news, Good news, Good news!!!!
I GOT MY LOST COUPON BOOK BACK!!

Thank you to all that commented, prayed and shared in my angst! The customer service desk at Kroger's on Forest Drive in Columbia called me this morning. Someone had turned it in and the customer service desk person called my number. I was too grateful to have it back to ask any questions.

Yay! It's another good couponing day in the neighborhood. :)

      • SB

OH, I am so glad. I hope not much or anything was missing!!!

      • courtney_80

        YAY!!!!!!!

you will probably think this is nuts, but i kept thinking of you every time i got my coupon book out! so glad it was returned to you. those things take lots of time and effort to get started. happy couponing! :)

        • Donella

hehe…that's not nuts, that's actually really sweet. Next time you take your coupon book out make sure you put your name and contact number on it. Ya never know!! :)

    • Aly B

Just spoke with Catalina rep. Kroger has pulled the Purex offer!! If you did receive your print, call and they will send it to you. I don't think it is cool to pull an offer midway through. Call Kroger and let them know how you feel.

      • norma

I was going to do the purex deal tomorrow. I live in the Nashville area. Are all Kroger areas going to pull this offer?

      • amy

Did they pull it nation wide? I'm in TX. I did the Purex deal 4 times last week but the 4th catalina didn't print. Was it limited to 3? Will call the # tomorrow. There is a Purex BOGO on Sun and my Kroger doesn't start new sales until Wed. Won't this be a money maker?

      • kelli

that's so stupid. the one catalina that I got said that the dates had been extended. if this is true, I'm really mad at kroger….

        • kelli

I didn't get the catalina today or yesterday. not cool kroger!!!!!

      • kelli

I was on the phone for about 10 minutes today with a person from Catalina Marketing. I was having some problems with my store and I had the guy from Catalina speak to the person at customer service…

Anyway, basically what I found out about this is that Purex pulled the deal early, not Kroger. I'm not sure which information is correct but it seems like it might not be Kroger.

The man I spoke to said that the coupons for Purex will not print anymore and that if you buy the items you'll need to call them and they'll send you a coupon.

        • gingerinCA

Okay, sorry. Just want to clarify, because this doesn't make sense to me. They've pulled the deal, but if we buy the products and then call Cataline, they'll still send you the Catalina for it? This confuses me.

          • kelli

yes, you should still be able to get the coupon. the man I spoke to said that Purex pulled the deal but I think that Catalina Marketing is holding up their end of the deal anyway. I don't know why they wouldn't just let them keep printing off and deal with in internally…

I do know that the man said just call with your receipt and they'll send you the coupon.

            • gingerinCA

Wow, that is just bizarre. Thanks for the info.

      • Barb

I'm pretty sure I won't be buying Purex anymore.

They should have stood by their original offer, as the $ they may lose will likely not compare to the reputation they will have now.

      • Charla

        call who? Kroger? Purex?

    • Charla

My Kroger store was out of Catalina paper. Of course, I didn't know this until I had completely checked out. Therefore, I didn't get the $4 for the Purex. Has this happened to any of you? How was it handled? I am just out of luck?

    • Patty

Please help! What department can I find Wholly Gaucamole? I live in the Atlanta area and can't seem to find it.

      • amy

        fresh fruit and veggies

    • Roriek

Acworth, GA Kroger has Chobani Yogurt on sale for $1. Use $1 off Chobani Yogurt SS 12/13 and get it FREE!

    • sojourner13

Will someone please tell me what it means on Cellfire when it says 'Offer must be saved by Feb 8, 2010 Expires Feb 22, 2010 (in 4 days)' ?

      • kelli

it means that you had to have added it to your card by Feb 8 and it expires on the 22nd.

    • kelli

I found 4 bags of Dole salad marked down to 99¢ and a package of Land O' Frost turkey for $1.79. The salad was only 24¢ after coupon and the turkey was free!!!

      • kelli

I went to Kroger twice today. I just added it up and I spent $4.54 and saved $67.76!

    • courtney_80

i really didn't need anything this week, but decided to hit up some sales and get some things for a few NBPR rebates i have. turned out my Kroger had the small pillsbury canned rolls, biscuits, crescents on a clearance sale for $1.00 each. with coupons and the catalina deal, i made about $5 buying them today! when all was said and done, i spent $13.14 oop. the kicker is that i did it on 3 transactions for 3 different rebates totalling $16.24!!!! i think i just got paid to buy my groceries! i'm super excited about the way this shopping trip turned out. you rock, Jenny!

    • itismedia

I am trying to find out if I am completely dense! I have shopped and couponed at Kroger for years and they have ALWAYS driven me nuts with their “rules of the day” take on couponing, but today was a first. I had an order that was 45 something and a coupon for 5.00 off 45. She wouldn't take it because I was under BEFORE TAX. I tried adding gum and no go, still a little off. I really didn't want the first pack of gum, much less as second soI had her suspend my order. I went and got Purex (bought 2, but no cat. printed). My total was then 49 something (after 3.00's off and Kroger card) and I was good or so I thought. The customer service person informed me that the 5.00 had to be taken off AFTER all my other coupons were taken off. She said it has always been the rule. There was no way I was going to have 45 after my coupons. I feel I lost out on 5.00 and it irks me. Every cashier I have ever had has always rang the coupon first as I always put it on top of my stack. I still did good, 70 for 22, but GGRRRR.
Has this happened to anyone else?

      • Rose

The coupon states that the $5.00 is only good after all other sales and coupons, but my cashiers would always take them first. I never had a problem like you. Sadly I don't get those good coupons in the mail anymore.

        • itismedia

Mine has after Sales and Discounts and I always took that to mean, after my Kroger card. Hmmmm
Have you tried calling or e-mailing Kroger? I haven't received any in a REALLY long time, but just received 2 sets. One was my regular one and the other was from a Kroger the next town over (about 7 miles away). I shopped there once when they opened and they sent them because they “missed me”. Can't hurt to try. Tell them that others are getting them and you are not. I have received 5 or 6 sets of coupons from Kroger in the past week or two. Its been crazy, good crazy. =+)

          • Rose

That's good. I used to get those coupons and then I called the Kroger customer service and asked if I could start getting the Kroger home mailer. The lady told me that it was all computer based and the computer decided who got coupons and who didn't. So she couldn't put me on some kind of list to start receiving the home mailer, but magically the next week I started getting the home mailer. But then my $ off $ quite coming in the mail. I think I'll try calling again!

    • Peeka

Not sure if there are any coupons floating around but I just left Kroger in Nashville, TN and found Neutrogena Triple Moisture daily deep conditioner and deep recovery hair mask for $2.99 each. This is a great deal considering they are normally $6.99 and up in every store I have seen.

    • Tanya

Purex catalina was not working at my store in Cookeville yesterday. They gave me a rain check for $8 off my next purchase. (I bought 4 in 2 transactions).

      • zombiemommy

The Purex deal isn't working anymore.(according to talk over at Hotcouponworld). I think they realized they were creating overage when the bogo coupon came out..

        • kelli

I was told by catalina marketing that purex pulled the deal. not explanation as to why, they just said that it was pulled early.

    • sharon60

I'm new at this and need help. On the Hillshire Farms Lunch Meat, my Kroger weekly email says B2G1. So does the $2 each on the “shopping list” take that into consideration? If it's on sale for $2 each and I buy only 2, is one free and by using the $1/2 cpn I'm only paying $1 for 2??? Thx

    • Jen

Has anyone confirmed the Ziploc catalina? Buy 3, get $2

    • Patty

If you still have your printable Kelloggs coupons, I just checked Kroger website and starting tomorrow (if your ad ends on saturday) you get 2 gallons of milk when you buy 4 Kelloggs products at 4 for $10. The selection of products looks pretty good.

    • amyTindiana

Has anyone ever had a situation where the cashier scanned a rewards card other than your Kroger card? My total was about $12 more than I planned today. When I checked my receipt, I realized that none of my Ecoupons came off. I started to report it with cellfire and read through their suggestions, one of which being that you make sure you scanned the right card. The numbers didn't match. It turns out the savings card # on my receipt is my library card number from the tag on my keys. How crazy! Has this happened to anyone else? Do you think there is anything I can do about getting my Ecoupon values?

    • sbdugger

Just got back from an amazing trip to Kroger. Bought 30 Banquet meals (all of which had the $6 of coupons inside), clipped the $1/2 chef Boyardee q's, and 5 $.60/6 Banquet meal q's from the inside of the box and got 60 Chef Boyardee – all for $26.40 + tax. The cashier thought I was nuts because I clipped the Banquet q's in the checkout line!

    • E_Ranger

Nature's Bounty website has a rewards program. Signup is free and there's a $2 coupon to print as a 'welcome' present. Otherwise you get points for each product and redeem those – max would be a $5 coupon for 500 points.
