I just stopped by Kroger quick for one item to take somewhere and happened past the 10 for 10 special with Pillsbury refrigerated biscuit tubes. They are 10 for 10, plus there was a .75 off three blinkie coupon and at the checkout when you buy three you get a 1.50 coupon for your next purchase at Kroger. That makes each biscuit tube .25!

    • Brooke

what is the kroger home mailer?

    • Jenny

Kroger sends monthly booklets or coupons or every few months they will send special coupons just for you based on your shopping history. If you have a Kroger card make sure your address is correct in their system. The best way to do this is to go http://www.kroger.com and set up a My Kroger account.

    • I love Kroger. Thanks for putting the deals together.

    • Ang

I can’t find the free Wrigley’s gum in the Smart Source for 2/22

    • Traci

I am new to this coupon stuff and I have read every one of the posts on the Getting Started guide and im still confused. I got a sunday paper the double one and I got all my circular coupons but……. Im still lost as to where I actually begin or how I figure all this stuff out…….. I know I need to Stockpile and just buy items on sale but what do I need to do FIRST like right now planning???? Sorry if I sound nuts but im trying to figure it out. I would like to shop this week at Kroger…… HELP!?!?!?!?!?

    • Amanda

Pillsbury deal is even better than a previous poster wrote. If you buy 5 you get $3 OYNO. There are TONS of coupons out right now. I used the .35/1 coupons on the crescent rolls to make it a $1.50 MM! YAY!! Get those coupons out and head to Kroger!

    • Janice

I bought the 5 count Grands biscuits yesterday (here in Atlanta). They are on sale for $1. I had the “any size Grands coupon for 25 cents off” that was doubled making them 50 cents apiece. Then at checkout you get the Catalina coupon. When you buy 4 Pillsbury refrigerated bread items, you get $2 off your next purchase. When you buy 5, your get $3 off. So if you buy 4 or 5 with coupons, they are free or small money maker.

Also the Yo-Plus yogurt 4-packs are still on sale for $2. Use the $1 coupon for a great deal of $1 each.

I also tried the $3 off Comforts diapers coupon. The computer would only accept one per transaction…I didn’t read the fine print obviously. The cashier was really nice about it, and just rang it up separately for me since I had two coupons.

Thanks for all your work to help us all save money!!

    • Jenny

Thanks for the great Pillsbury deal guys. Sorry for being slow i’m adding it to the list now!

    • Allyson

      Traci,
      I’m new also.

I usually choose 1 store for the week, and read the post about the deals at that store, I write down the items that will be useful for our family, and put all the coupons that match in an envelope attached to my clipboard. I also attach my shopping list to the clipboard, so I’ll know which items to buy. Including stuff like milk, eggs, things that I don’t have coupons for.

Don’t let it overwhelm you, you don’t have to buy everything. Just buy the things that you need or you have coupons for!

If something is a great deal, yes, stockpile. But also make a list of what you’ll have for dinner this week, to make sure you don’t have lots of great deals, but nothing to cook.

It takes awhile to accrue all the coupons. You’ll do fine!

    • Great list of deals at Kroger this week. Here are some of the savings I was able to pull off at Kroger. Saved 46%

    • Kelli

What’s the catalina coupon you reference under the Pillsbury 10/10?

    • Jamie

I went it to Kroger today to get the Pillsbury deal and noticed that the Healthy Life Whole Grain bread was on sale 4/$5 making it .25 after the .50/1 in the 1/04 SS.

    • Carolyn

I had a great trip to Kroger yesterday!

      12 Hunt’s Fire Roasted Tomatoes @ 92c – 6 75c/2 Q’s
      Kroger Cheese 3/$5
      3 Totina’s Pizza @ $1.29
      1 2-L Diet Dr Pepper @ $1.67 FREE WYB 3 pizzas, any
      1 Kroger 1/2 AND 1/2 @ $1.79

      Total oop……$2.73

98% SAVED!! I have only done this well one other time! I have re-added and re-added my CRT and can’t get it to come out like that, but I’ll take it!

    • Rebecca

Just made a trip to Kroger (Woodlands Tx)…noticed some things,

Cottonelle Toilet Tissue 4pk is ringing up $1.19 instead of $.99. There is also a in store dispenser for buy 2 get $.75 off.

Kraft Cheese Bars, Shreds, or cubes 8oz $2 ea. They had removed the in store coupon dispenser. It was there yesterday, gone this morning. :-(

    • Melissa

Is the Pillsbury Catalina for $ off your next purchase of more Pillsbury, or you can spend it on any other groceries?

    • Mary

Do you know if all of the pillsbury items are triggering the catalina–or just the cresant rolls, and biscuits? I heard somewhere that the $1 cinnamon rolls were not part of the catalina deal, does anybody know for sure?

    • Kristin

Does anyone else have trouble using printable coupons at Kroger? Is this just my Kroger? Thanks!

      kristin-atkinson@hotmail.com

    • Priscilla

Just stopped by Kroger for a few things and came across a tear pad for $1.50/3 StarKist pouches. That makes them just $ .50 each.

    • Priscilla

I used Shortcuts and the P&G websites linked to my Kroger card for the first time. Even though the items I purchased that were linked to my shopping card were deducted at the store, they are not showing up on those sights as being redeemed. Can you only use these coupons once or are they good for purchases until their expiration date?

    • Kristie

Mary… My catalina says “Recieve a $3.00 coupon with you buy 5 or more Refrigerated Cresents, Cookies, Sweet Rolls, Grands Biscuits, Grands Cinnamon Rolls, Dinner Rolls, Loaves, Breadsticks or Pizza Crust” So it should work!

    • Melissa

I went to Kroger this morning and bought (among other stuff) 5 cans of Grands biscuits. Got back a Catalina saying $3.00 coupon off next order.

I then tried to buy 6 more cans of biscuits. Gave the Catalina to the cashier and she said, this is not a coupon, it is saying you’ll get $3.00 off your next purchase. I said I got for my first purchase – this is my next purchase.

After awhile someone finally noticed that the thing is not good until 3/1:
“Purchase any eligible Pillsbury Refridgerated Baked Goods Between 3/1 & 3/28…” and goes on to say Buy (3) & Get $1.50, or buy (4) and get $2.00, or buy (5) and get $3.00.

So basically it’s saying I have to buy more biscuits (or any Pillsbury Refridgerated), after 3/1, to get the coupon off my next order after that.

    • Lynn

      Melissa~

I got the same catalina as u did I was so disappointed.:(

    • wendy

In D/FW the Pillsbury catalina will run 3/2 – 3/29.

    • Jenny

I just got home after getting that one too. It is running right now in some areas but obviously not everywhere. i meant to update that so thanks for the reminder. I was a little bummed, and can’t say whether I will even do the deal next week if they aren’t $1…

    • Amanda

The pillsbury promo worked in my area on Monday (I did 4 transactions that day and it worked like a charm on all 4), but today they had changed the dates. Doesn’t seem right that they changed things AFTER the promotion started. I’m a bit ticked over this one — another reason why I prefer Publix. Okay, done ranting now…..it was good while it lasted!

    • Kathy

My Kroger doesn’t give me shortcut credits when I use a paper coupon for an item. Does anyone else have this problem?

    • MelRae

Hey Jenny! Just today, I got a home mailer with coupons for all kinds of Kroger Comforts products! I am way excited! And they don’t expire until 5/10/09. I am wondering if anyone who has bought any baby products in the last few months will get one? I did buy a pack of Comforts wipes in the last few weeks.

I actually plan to take the Comforts wipes coupons to my Publix. I prefer Publix brand wipes to Kroger Comforts wipes.

    • Jill

I have a “get a $10 Gift card to publix with purchase of 15 participating Pillsbury products. Would it be better to get them at publix and comibine this deal with all of the coupons I have or just get them at Kroger? I’m a little confused on this one.

    • Alex

Hi – Does anyone know how are the comfort brand of diapers from kroger? Since they are on sale this week & a good price after the coupon, I am debating about buying them.
      Any thoughts?
      Thanks.

    • Emily

      Alex,
I personally love the Kroger diapers. We have used several packages now & have not had any problems. I think they are comparable to Walgreens store brand. If you can use the 3.00 peelie or printable and get them for 2.99, you just can’t beat that price. I would definitely give them a try. I think they are great for a store brand. Good luck!!

    • Beth

You guys are confusing me about the Pillsbury deal. I bought 4 Grands biscuits today (I had 4 mf coupons + 3 e-coupons, making them -.10 each) and got a $2 off Catalina. The Catalina says I can use it on anything except Rx. I take that to mean anything except prescriptions, right? There’s nothing on there about having to use it on more Pillsbury products ….

    • Jenny

I think all the comments above were from people (like me) who got a catalina detailing the deal but no coupon. You are lucky! The store on my side of town isn’t running it until tomorrow.

    • Beth

Thanks for clearing that up. I also got the catalina detailing the deal, as well as the $2. Lucky me, I guess!

    • Charis Webster

When will this weeks Kroger deals be up on here?

    • Jennifer

Charis – it is up: http://www.southernsavers.com/2009/03/kroger-weekly-ad-31-37/

I am new at Kroger shopping, and I have a question about catalina deals. I’m in College Station, Texas and the Catalina deal buy 5 pillsbury get $3 oyno started today. Can it only be done once? I shop at CVS a lot, and I know there are limits to extra care bucks. I wasn’t sure if you can only do a catalina deal once or as many times as you want. My husband and I eat cinnamon rolls 3 or 4 mornings a week, and I wouldn’t mind buying more! Thank you very much for your help!!

    • Jenny

You can keep rolling that catalina, buy the rolls get the coupon buy more get another… have fun…

    • Jennifer

Just letting y’all know… The $.35 coupon for pillsbury sweet rolls is tripling at my Kroger even though it says DO NOT TRIPLE OR DOUBLE at the top. It helps bring the price of the cinnamon rolls way down!

    • Jennifer

Oh, I forgot to say which coupon that was… the one on smartsource.com
