    • Kat

can I use the Kroger ecoupon for $3 off Charmin 12 double roll on the Charmin that's on sale this week?

      • I believe that ecoupon is for the 24 mega roll size.

        • Carman

the ecoupon stats that it can be used for the 12 pk double roll

          • Couponshandy

what zip are you guys using for charmin and bounty…my zip says there are no coupons. Thanks!

            • Jbush27

Then you haven't entered your Kroger shopping card yet.

            • Carman

the ecoupons are on the kroger website

      • LeBretonDenise

Yes! The same goes for the Kroger ecoupon for $2 off Bounty Paper Towels.

      • Nancy

Yes, you can. I did it and it works like a charm.

      • malou

It worked for me and I also used paper coupons on top of it. Don't forget about the bounty paper towels too.

      • April

yes I did and it worked fine

      • Kristan

Worked for me, too. I was a little leary of trying it, too, but it was just fine. Awesome deal, too!!

    • Thank you for the early list!

    • guest

My Kroger had Gillette Men's body wash on close-out for $2.50, so with the ecoupon, it's only .50!

    • Emsessions

why does kroger keep doing the same list, basicly, for 2 weeks in a row? It is kind of annoying…

      • Bee

Not to me. I only shop every 2 weeks–saves me lots of gas, time, etc.

With the Kroger sales lasting two weeks, I can use an entire week to plan adequately, gather coupons, wait for other people to report back on unadvertised deals.

Two weeks also gives me time to stop back in if there are particularly good deals or I realize I missed something.

      • Helenet

I like it because they do it 2 weeks. It allows me to get coupons from sources on e-bay and get them in the mail. We fill shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child and I have been able to purchase 1,153 tubes for less than 20 cents a tube with Kroger sales. My Kroger store orders the large amount but sometimes it takes a few days to get all of it in. Always remember get a rain-check if they don't have the item. Sorry that you don't like it, but maybe this will help you to understand why some of us like it. Have a good day. Helenet

    • shum

How do you get the list so early? Just curious. I can't see my next ad until Saturday at midnight.

      • Lawsonaba

Maybe it depends on your area. Mine is available Saturday morning.

    • Jenna

I forgot what order to use the ecoupons with manufacture/store coupons. Could someone please tell me because I think I am doing it wrong. Thank you!

      • Kenzbug

I have them scan my card first. As they ring up items, ecoupons come off. At the end, I give printable & m coupons.

    • Mandi

I'm new to all this can anyone help me. I'm about to do this for the very first time. Trying to find coupons as well as finding the best store. Any tips of the newbee

        coupons by dede.com
hate walgreens- only for the milk
        love rite aid and cvs

        • Anonymous
        • Sczerwinski

why do you hate walgreens? our store is very friendly and one clerk actually helps me figure out the best way to use my coupons.

          • pdsmama

Our sale stuff is not marked so well and often not enough stock to do the deal- even at opening on Sunday. So if the toothpaste is for a certain size, it is frustrating to find the size and type at the same time. I believe our manager hates coupons. The answer is ALWAYS no if there is any question brought up. She is unfriendly- like I am stealing by using coupons.

            • Rhornsby

Amen! I have never had a pleasant trip to Walgreens….I have left all and I mean all of my items on the counter both times I tried to coupon there.

      • Kristan

I know. I was kind of nervous and overwhelmed the first time I shopped at Kroger. Have you been collecting coupons? That's the first thing you need to do. I collected 2 Sunday papers every week for 4 weeks, then I started at Kroger and CVS. Now I'm getting 4 papers every Sunday and have also added Walgreens. Just look at Jenny's store-specific posts and watch her videos. That's where I learned the most. Is there something specific you need help with? I'd be happy to help all I can. Good luck!! :-)

      • Mistie_blevins

I was very nervous too. I've been at it for about a few months now, and it is great. Kristan has great advice, collect a few Sunday papers for a few weeks to get started on coupons if you really have none. I now buy 2 sunday papers, and have a friend that gives me hers. Otherwise, getting a subscription to All You magazine is also a great idea (it comes packed with coupons). If you will be shopping at Kroger, I like when I'm in there to walk up and down the aisles and pick up coupons that are “blinkies” (The little boxes that you grab coupons out of with a blinking red light on them in the aisles.)
I have a Kroger, Food City, Food Lion, Walmart, CVS, Walgreens all within about a 1/2 mile distance of my house. I by far prefer Kroger. I also use CVS and Walgreen's constantly as my drugstore buys.
Kroger and CVS over my 'learning period' have been great with customer service and assistance. They are willing and love to help you out. Don't be nervouse and don't be afraid to ask them questions as well, you aren't the only person walking in their store with coupons and questions. Will be glad to help you on here also. Have fun!

Can ecoupons/cellfire, be used more than once? If I buy two of that item with the coupon be applied to both?

      • Cheryl

        *will

      • Jbush27

No, it is only for one item. If you download the same coupon from say, shortcuts and cellfire then it will take off for 2 items. And remember that E coupons don't double.

    • Heather

Why does it say Tyson chick is 1.79lb my ad says 1.99lb?

      • pdsmama

Regional differences. I've tried to PAY for a region specific list, and they just didn't include anything on the list that had differences. I've decided southern savers is fine for me, realizing there will be a slight difference in sales and some things may not even be on sale or clearance at the same time- just a week later.

      • Jbush27

I know that where I live in Georgia it will be 1.99 not 1.79. I was bummed.

        • Aly B

I think Ingles has it cheaper in GA this week.

    • Hensleywiz

The Jazz apples & the strawberries are already on sale. I was in the store Friday. :-)

    • Techie Ted

The Swiffer Wet Jet starter kit is $19.94 at our K-Roger in Atlanta. Similar to the RA deal, but beside the $5 off coupon in the p&g sunday paper you can use a $5 off K-Roger ecoupon. Also use the free refill coupon from same p&g circular to save another 6.99. Total $9.94 for Wet Jet and refill! Better than the RA and pretty good overall.

What is a good price on Asparagus?

1.99 lb a lot recently at Krogers and Food City in Knoxville

    • Herrickfam

Does anyone know if you need a specific zip code to get the P&G e coupons? I tried to add one to my Kroger card but it says there are no coupons available.

      • Amy T

Make sure your Kroger card # is saved in your profile. This happened to me one time and after calling customer service I found that my Kroger card # was not saved. It was showing as if I had no loyalty card #s saved & that's why it was saying no coupons available.

      • Jeniver

Mine said that too and then I realized I had to add my Kroger card. Once I did that there were 76 items available and no more problems. Hope that helps. My zip is 26505 if that helps but I didn't see a place to put my zip.

    • Andrea

I am very new at these coupons. on this site and i need some help with this. when you go on here and it says you can print a list. how do you print the coupons beside it with the little letters like m. im mind boggled. could someone plz explain how to print the list with the coupons you want. on kroger here. thanks :)

      • Guest

When you go to print the list, click the box beside the item you want to add (i.e. Charmin Toilet Paper). Then go to the bottom of the list, make sure you click the box that says “Include Coupon Matchups”, then it will include all of the avaliable coupons for that item (for the toilet paper it would include the 15-20 coupons listed for that item). I don't have a computer at home, so at work I click “Select All Items” then click “Include Coupon Matchups” and click print. I print 2 pages on 1 sheet to save paper, but you can print it regular size also! HTH!

    • The Lunch Lady

Does anyone know of a Cascadian Farm coupon other than the printable one? It was on last week's list, but isn't on this one. It's still on sale at my Kroger, and my whole family eats these like their candy! I'd appreciate the help! Thanx!

    • laurieintn

Kroger's website states that you cannot combine an e-coupon with a paper coupon.

      • Kurt T.

i think that only aplies to the ones off of krogers website not cellfire

      • I've had no problems combining ecoupons with manufacturer coupons and store coupons. In fact, I suspect that I'm getting double coupons on cellfire coupons less than $0.50. I'm not sure about that though. I'm still testing it out.

    • LJ

Is Kroger's B1G1 like Publix (non-Florida Publix) in that if you purchase just one item it is half price? I really don't need/want two of some of the B1G1 items.

      • Bethany

Yes. Their policy is essentially that both items are half off. You don't need to buy two, but you could use two coupons

        • Bethany

Use two coupons if you buy two items.

    • Volunteer Amy

Hang on to those expired Catalina $$$ coupons…my Kroger just took $8 worth of them…without question…I had “forgotten” them after my last Kroger raid…and well thought I'd try them anyhow…no problems! Couponing takes me to a happy place somedays! $280 at Kroger for less than $100 OOP…love it!

    • Jennifer

I recently got a few $/$$ coupons in the mail for Kroger and took one to the store today. It clearly states on the coupon that the purchase requirement must be met BEFORE tax and discounts. Well according to the manager at my kroger e-coupons don't count as discounts because they wouldn't let me use the coupon because my e-coupons took the total down just below the purchase limit. Just a warning and something to watch out for. I'm going to contact Kroger and make sure he was right.

      • Amy T

I would too. That doesn't seem right since the store is getting paid for the coupons.

      • Hender328

I know in the past people have said to let the cashier ring everything up at regular price. So say the total is $100. Then give them the $10 off $50 or what ever it is. Brings total down to $95 and then swipe the kroger card. All other discounts and ecoupons will come off and then give them the regular coupons.

    • Lindsey Boggs

I'm confused. I thought on the Kroger website it won't take digital coupons AND manufacturer coupons, but today I tried it and they took BOTH so I ended up getting some stuff for 100% free! Does it just depend on the store?

      • Wendy Moore

Kroger Corp. says that in the future you will not be able to combine EQ's with MQ's, but as for now, their computers do accept both.

    • Becky

$1.99 for chicken in Dawsonville, GA, not $1.79

    • Extrafor6

Does anyone know if there is some sort of General Mills promotions? My receipt from Friday says GM Bonus after each GM product I purchased. Does anyone know what this is??? btw, my Kroger cashiers actuallly encourage me to use e-coupons and mfc together!

      • Patty

Did you see a money amount or only that it was a bonus? If you signed up for boxtops with your Kroger card that could be what you are seeing. They now credit your school when you buy certain products. I saw this on my receipt from the Campbells promotion for labels for educations when I bought the Chunky Soup last week.

    • Coupon Newcomer

I am new to the world of couponing and have a couple of questions…my main question is this…

I understand that I can combine store and manufacture coupons. But how do I know if I am loading a store coupon or manufacture coupon to my Kroger card (via the 'digital coupon' link on their website)? I don't want to get to the register and realize only half of my coupons qualify.

I am going to try my first trip w/ coupons tomorrow and would appreciate any advice. Thanks so much!

      • Extrafor6

you won't really know unless you either ask your store or try it and see if it works. I've never had a problem using both, but it seems some people have. happy couponing ;)

        • Coupon Newcomer

Okay. I'll just try it and see. Thanks for the help! Do you know how to determine what my Kroger Plus card # is? I've tried signing in to Cellfire, but every combination of numbers I try from my card (below the barcode) doesn't seem to be the right one. Any ideas?

          • bean

You have to sign in to cellfire with your cell phone number and then you can add your Kroger card.

    • Ilouang

I bought Sunday paper today and did not find the B1G1 Herbal Essence or Aussie coupon. Is anyone else missing this coupon?

      • lwotell

I am missing the q as well. I also was missing the Atkins $1 coupon. Huntsville, AL.

    • Sara

The coupons I loaded on to my Kroger shopper's card last week were not taken off at the register. I had to go to Customer Service and get them to take them off. It took forever and it was just three or four dollars. Sometimes I wonder if all this planning is even worth it…
Anyone else have this problem with Kroger's card coupons or the Cellfire ones? The store manager didn't have a good reason for why they didn't come off at the register.

      • SavSmiles

I have this problem. You're lucky cust. serv. would help. My store's cust. serv. told me to call from home.

        • Frugalmomy

That's what mine tells me also! I've never had an ecoupon work!

          • Caroline

Make sure you give them your Kroger card first. Sometimes that makes a difference. But calling customer service is almost always more helpful than the store plus you can do it on your own time instead of wasting more time at the store when you're already frustrated!

      • Smashleyestrada

I have this problem often. Usually most of them go thru, but I always have to check before I leave the store because usually one or 2 didnt make it :-( Customer service has always been great and refunded the money right then. Its a bit of a hassle, but I am just thankful that they are willing to take both ecoupons and my paper coupons. I try to think about that when I get frusterated lol

      • Faithfilled_1

The same thing happens to me too, frustrating!

    • Angel

Will the kroger on forest dr in columbia take an e coupon and a paper coupon?

      • CouponNERD

Yes, they have for me before, plenty of times.

    • Vlsbarnes

am i able to use a manufactuer coupon and a ecoupon from kroer??

    • Faithfilled_1

I tried to use my Fruit2day coupon. Kroger would not take it. It says they don't take internet coupons. They have to have a watermark? I spend alot of time finding coupons and going to the store, it is so frustrating ! !

    • Lb_hudson

Im trying to get my Kroger card on the PG website but it wont work. Is there a trick I dont know about? Please help!

    • Bossysue48

Well, just to let everyone know that I went to Kroger today. I was all prepared to save a lot with all of my loaded ecoupons and my P&G coupons for their sale they are having this week. I was so upset because they said corporate is saying you can no longer combine ecoupons and paper coupons together. It takes your ecoupons off first so therefore you can't use your paper ones which is the better deal in some cases, because the ecoupons don't double, but the paper ones will. It would have been no savings basically if I just used the ecoupons. I had the cashier take most of my purchases off, there is no point. I'm about to the point of just not using coupons anymore, it is not worth my time. Is anyone else having this problem??? Frustrated in Alabama!!!!!

      • Lorannclark

I feel your pain. This happened to me once and I was devastated. I spend so much time clipping and organizing and what a blow when your all your time and planning feels like it is vain. But, don't give up couponing. I am trying to be cautious what I load to my card. If my paper q is 55 cents (in which my store won't double over 50 cents) and my ecoupon is 50 cents, then I load, taking the chance, knowing if they reject my paper coupon I am only out 5cents. But if my paper is 50 cents that will double to a dollar, then I usually won't load anything of a much lower value. Just figure out what works for you in your area. Keep up the good work and hang in there!:)

      • Pittmank1

Do you have self check out at your store? My sisters told me that you couldn't use ecoupons & paper coupons–the cashier wouldn't let them. I never knew that because I always use the self check out & I always use ecoupons & paper coupons. You might want to give it a try.

        • tjmj9801

I self check at any store that has one. I find that I'm not challenged in what I know is right by some boss-pleasing cashier. (Not saying what I do is wrong, but they like to have know-it-all attitudes when it comes to coupons.)

        • Slgwalker2

I only did self check out once at Kroger w/coupons…the cashier wouldn't let me use any paper Q's (even though they were the better deal than the e-Q's)…She was very rude. I'm in Hartselle, AL.

        • Bossysue48

That was what I used was the self checkout. I just ended up with the wrong cashier running it I guess.

      • amy

My Kroger does not pay any attention to the ecoupons at all. They just look at the paper coupons so the ecoupons are just a bonus. Thompsons station, tn

        • Ashley

Me too! I hope it stays that way!

      • Bee

I can understand it is frustrating as well, but….

I have been using e-coupons religiously for over a year. However, my total savings is only about $75 total since I have been using them. I have saved that many times over with the paper coupons combined with sale. I mean, there's really no way anyone was making out like a bandit with the e-coupons because they limit us to one load per card.

With that said, this time there are awesome e-coupons, such as $3 off Charmin. The only paper I could stack with that is $1 so if I can't, not exactly a big deal. In this case, I would rather have the e-coupon and use the paper another time. Not going to stop needing toilet paper in the near future.

A lot of the time, the e-coupons are just duplicates of the paper and a lot of the time it makes the paper ones better, since they can be doubled. Some of the e-coupons are pretty pathetic, like .50/2.

When this policy goes chain wide, then I will just pick certain items I will never purchase again because I only took them home due to the extreme savings. (I posted this sentiment on another Kroger thread). I don't know who will lose out in such case–I guess the manufacturer. Because, plain and simple, these days people just can't afford all the “goodies” they formerly did. One deal that comes to mind is M&M's. I had a paper coupon for $1.50/2 as well as e-coupon. I would never have bought the candy if I only had one coupon. Most likely I would have waited for an awesome CVS candy deal.

And even if people can “afford” it, they would rather use their money elsewhere as opposed to fancy over-priced cleaners and body wash. I was thinking of doing the swiffer deal, but I would still have to buy refills in the future. So even with e-coupons and paper, I don't think I would have bought it.

This is just one trip to the store. In the future, you can plan ahead and take coupons off your card in order to get the better savings with paper, if need be.

If you really want to push the matter, use self check-out or don't unload your cart until the cashier takes your Kroger card and scans it. I had one cashier tell me to give her my paper coupons before she ever started the transaction. I ignored her. For one thing, I use the time during my groceries being checked as time to make sure I have all the right coupons and that I actually got all the items that I have coupons for. Sometimes, I don't find the item or I think the price is still too high.

Also, I buy a LOT of groceries at once, so it might be difficult for them to police whether I have a paper coupon that matches the e-coupon.

To be frank, if I get any feedback from my Kroger that we can't do it, I'm not going to. I have looked at past Kroger receipts and it's not that much of a gain for me. I have piles and piles of paper coupons taken off at the end and maybe 5 or 6 e-coupons.

Now that Wal-Mart does overage (actually at mine they always did but now it's official) I will more aggressively look to them to get my overage deals. I'm used to changing my shopping strategies in order to benefit myself. It's all a game between consumers and retailers. They will go so far to get a customer hooked and then believe that customer is not going to go anywhere else and back off the deals. That's what Kroger is doing. They are tired of giving away the farm and want some healthy profits now. (I have read in Wall Street Journal that Kroger shareholders have wanted them to raise prices for a long time).

I am prepared to shop any store if I get the deals there. I am also prepared to say a quick good-bye if they no longer have the deals. I just love capitalism.

        • Bossysue48

Thank you for the encouragement. You are so right, it is kind of like a game to you to get you hooked and then change their policies. I know that I am a way smarter shopper than they think though, and like you said I will go to the store that has the better deal. When they start to lose business they will see and then change something else. Our Publix here has already done the same thing. It started out that you could stack 3 coupons per item now they have changed that to 2. Also, thay were accepting lots of competitors coupons and now the only one they accept is Target. So if you don't have one from Target and all you have is a paper coupon then that's all you get to use is 1 coupon. They were very rude and proud when they told me of the new policies. I don't understand what the big deal is when the stores are being reimbursed, it's crazy.

      • Yosteli

Where are you in Alabama? I went to my Kroger in Opelika the other night and didn't have a problem stacking. I even had to go to customer service for them to re-scan all my items/coupons because there was a misunderstanding and the cashier scanned a Kroger card that wasn't mine.

    • Pittmank1

have you been to the site before? You may have thought you were done but didn't get your kroger card entered. Go into my profile-left side of page-if it your first time you'll need to fill out form-otherwise look at top of profile and click on tab that says cards. Hope that helps. Also anyone trying to get P&G coupons you may want to try my zip 44830-I just loaded mine today.

    • Senorthington

Annie's Organic Mac and Cheese, select boxes are $.99 (great deal) and organic apples (bag) $2.00 (excellent deal!!!)

    • Guest

Confused: I want to get the paper towels by stacking the ecoupon with a paper one. Should I scan my card first (before items are rung up and before other coupons) or last (after other coupons). I've read comments from both sides. Thanks!

      • itismedia

I have them scan my card at the begining. Keep in mind though, it is up to your store as to whether you can stack. They are technically both manufacturer coupons. My store allows this because we have a Publix nearby that has an awesome coupon policy and they feel they need to be more competitive. HTH

      • Lorri

My store always asks for my card before they will start scanning my groceries. (They seem to quietly insist by just standing there holding out their hand while I pull it out of my wallet). I never seem to have any problem with the manu q stacking though. I always get both and they have never challenged me. One thing about my Kroger, though, is that the register automatically adjusts downward for moneymakers. I'll get the item for free but never an overage.

      • Guest

At my Kroger's if you scan your card after they take your coupons they will not double or triple your coupons. The Kroger's I shop at is in Texas.

      • couponmonster

Remember that you can always type in you alternate id (usually your telephone number you registered when opening the card) at any time on the keypad or computer screen at the self checkout. Either one will read “customer input received” or something like that. Therefore, you can decide when you want your kroger card “scanned”. I never scan my card and always use the alt id and I've never had a problem.

    • Jennifer

The new Kroger mailer entitled “Frozen & Fabulous” has some coupons that correspond with this week's ad. Save 75 cents when you purchase any 1 DIGIORNO pizza, 12.5-36.8 oz; Save $1.00 when you purchase any 1 STOUFFER'S FARMER'S HARVEST Entreé, 10.50-19oz; Get 1 LEAN CUISINE Spring Roll variety free when you buy any 5 Lean Cuisine Entreés, 6-16 oz. The coupons in this home mailer expire on May 8.

    • Juliea201

Nearly had a small heart attack this eve; went to my usual store on Clinton Hwy in Knoxville (which has always been wonderful with coupons) and my cashier didn't want to scan my Kroger card first; said he'd do it at the end but I nicely insisted. When my e-coups starting popping off at the end (I had the free Buitoni coup & $3 off Cellfire) my cashier said, “Uh-oh! She's been on-LINE!” Weird tone, too. Oooh-kaaay… handed over my paper coupons as usual, and he said, “You know you can't do both.” This was the first time I've EVER been challenged so I just said, “What?” and he replied, “Say WHAAAAT??” Then he kind of laughed weirdly, but took them.

Afterward he started chatting me up, asking me what I did for a living, and then talking about some random local exhibit he'd been to see b/c a customer brought him free tickets; just that overly chatty type where I was having a hard time politely ending the conversation so I could leave (no one was behind me)… All in all I think HE was just kind of OFF, but it's still the first time I've ever had the no-stacking that everyone else has mentioned even come up. Still…. weird. And hopefully not a sign of things to come…

      • Bee

Don't go through his line. He's harmless, but it always ends up a weird experience.

        • Agree! If you have to go to that Kroger, I'd avoid that cashier (I think I know who you're talking about). Try the Kingston Pike, Western Ave, or Middlebrook Pike Krogers.

      • Chefcarla

Tonight at my Kroger they would not let me use ecoupons & paper coupons. Cashier & manager said if it's on my card, I couldn't use paper ones. I dd not register my Kroger card on P&G. I thought the Kroger ecoups were store & the paper/printable were mfg. I am new to couponing so this was very frustrating for me. Any tips? I feel like I spent a ton of time with small rewards. Thanks!!!

        • Bossysue48

That is what happened to me. I'm not new at this, have been doing this for a couple of years now, but they would not let me use both. I called the corporate office and they said that this is their policy. He said he don't know why and when they changed it, but you can no longer use ecoupons with a paper coupon on an item. You can only use one coupon per item, and the ecoupon counts as a coupon. It's really not even going to be worth going to Kroger anymore unless they are having a great sale.

    • Jenni L

Not sure if this has already been mentioned or not. My Kroger in TN had the Kraft Philadelphia cooking creme 2/$5. There was a tearpad for $1.50 off wyb 1 making it $1 each. I had to grab some to try it out. For that price it was cheaper than the Kroger brand cream cheese.

      • carman

There was also a Kroger ecoupon for that. I think 75c off/1.

      • 1moresmith

I did the same thing at my store!! Awesome deal!! I make a lot of “homemade hotpockets” for my picky eater and this stuff is wonderful for those!!

    • Faye

Dumb question… if I use self checkout at Kroger and use manufacturers coupons, where do I put the coupons after scanning them?

      • Jregister0531

The computer will ask at the end of the order if you have any coupons (select yes). Bring them to the cashier at the self-check out and they will scan them for you. Hope this helps.

    • cdh1

I have a question about e-coupons. I used several Kroger e-coupons a few days ago (Charmin, Bounty, etc…) and was happy to save a lot of $. Today I noticed that some of these same coupons are available at the P&G e-coupons. I checked these and it says that these are on my card. Will I be able to use these since I used them previously as a Kroger e-coupon? I've never used the P&G e-coupons before so I don't know how this works. Thanks!

      • jhoran

No. These are the same coupons. You can download them from the kroger site or the P&G site. You can also download load cellfire and shortcuts from their sites or the kroger site…you can then print the individual list from each site, but they will all come up on the kroger site as they are all put on your kroger card.

    • Smoochy_one

I just got back from my Kroger (in Newnan, GA) & it had the Tyson Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast for $1.99 a pound in lieu of $1.79.

      • Angk

Griffin, GA too! :( The Kroger here is less than friendly and rude about coupons!

    • Rachel85

Can someone clarify something for me. I have coupons from Kroger on my plus card as well as identical coupons on my card from P&G or cellfire. If I have them scan the card with the coupons both come off? For example. I have a Kroger E-coupon for $1 off Cascade ONE Rinse Aid and a $1 off Cascade One Rinse P&G coupon. If the price is $3.99 and my card scans with it bring my total to $1.99?
Secondly, I understand it may depend on my store but I have $1 off Cascade from the P&G booklet. If my store stack printables and e-coupons could i get Cascade for $.99? Thanks for your help!!!

      • Carman

I've never been able to use both kroger e coupons and PG ecoupons for the same item. As far as I know it only takes off 1 ecoupon per item. If you have 2 ecoupons, then you would have to buy that item twice. And most Kroger's stack the ecoupons and print coupons…. which make for really good deals!!!!!

      • Brandy

I can not get my Kroger card to register on the P&G website. It keeps saying enter a valid card number and I know I am entering the right number. Any ideas of what I might be doing wrong?

        • guest

Make sure you add your card to your profile. I was confused at first but when I looked under my account infomation the card wasnt there. After I added it I could see the coupons.

      • Tedhead0000

you can stack 1 paper & 1 eCpn = you would get the Cascade for 1.99

the Ecpns on Kroger and PG load to your same card but only one will come off for 1 item

    • Sarah M.

I'm pretty new to this, having only gone on 1 big shopping trip using the tricks Jenny explains on the site. Even after going through every tutorial, I don't really fully understand it – when an ad is posted, and she lists every item in there, does that mean these are good prices? Sometimes I see the little acorns, which I get means that I should stock up if that's something I use, and once I saw a note from Jenny saying that the sale was a terrible deal. But if I go just by the acorns, I wouldn't buy anything this week. It's not quite clicking, I think. Any help is appreciated!

      • Jennifer

It can be overwhelming at first! I buy 6-8 newspapers each Sunday at my local Walgreens (they sell them for .50 on Sundays and I have 2 teenage boys!) I start at the top of each list and check each item that I need or I know my kids will eat. I then match up my q's with my list. At the bottom of each item, Jenny will show which q's will make it the lowest price, which is in parenthesis at the bottom of that item. The acorns are items that should be stocked up on because it is a great deal. It gets easier, Just hang in there! Good Luck and I hope this helps a little!

Tonight I went to my local Kroger in Myrtle Beach, and the cashier would not accept my $1.25 off coupon for a frozen California Pizza. She tried to tell me that they don't accept printed coupons over $1. Called and talked to the manager after reviewing Kroger's coupon policy and he told me that they had told all their cashiers to no longer take those coupons because “people were getting greedy” with their internet coupons. He used the example of someone using a $3 off coupon on a $3.99 bottle of Tide. Corporate policy mentions coupons for 75% off retail value, but that definitely didn't apply in my case.

      • Bee

Ok, if they stuck to the 75% off we would never be able to use coupons for the $1.00 items that go on sale.

Luckily, my Kroger does not have some sort of issue with how much money I save. And if they thought people were “greedy” (I can only guess they mean clearing the shelves), they can limit the number of coupons, not the face value.

Can you imagine being a cashier these days being told all this conflicting information that changes on a manager's whim? The thing is, the cashier has to face hundreds of people a day and tell them these things but the manager will only get the odd customer or two that really decides to push an issue.

I know there are bad cashiers but no wonder if they are being told ridiculous information like this.

But, I have noticed that Kroger has raised even their sale prices on the items that have digital coupons. Like we don't notice.

      • Shellypsu1

Allison, which Kroger? I am thinking about heading to Carolina Forest to try out couponing… I have been sticking to Lowes Foods and BiLo but there are a few things at Kroger I was interested in…. I was going to try ECoupon with Paper… do they take them at your MB store?

    • Webby

Kroger at Cedarcrest, GA will no longer allow a Manuf. Coupon and an eCoupon on the same item. Oh well, at least she let it allowed it today.

      • june

Columbia city, indiana just started enforcing the rules, too. It's been on the kroger website for how many months/years and now all of a sudden they start enforcing it? I like to know what a store's policy is before I shop there, but kroger is really getting hard to deal with. I spent 3 weeks trying to talk to a manager last year to find out what that store's policy was and I knew from the first two sentences that I wasn't going get any answers. I just nodded my head and said “thanks.”

Yesterday, a manager was called over to explain the “new” policy to me and I was quick to say “your not the manager, what happened to ms. X?” She told me she was the manager for the last 3 weeks and wanted to know how she could help me. I promtly told her I was glad the old one was gone and happy to see someone who was willing to talk to the customers. The new manager kept finishing my sentences for me and said for me to come to CS the next time I was in so she could let me know what corp said after she calls them. (we'll see if she is just blowing smoke when I go back)

**All I want is the option to take the ecoupon off and use the paper one I brought to the store with me.

The cashier (a by the book cashier that I always try to get to ring me up) was trying to come up with senarios on how to get around the ecoupons, but the manager kept shooting them down. (she was right) You can't get the sale price without the card. You can't get your points (for gas or phones) without the card. You can't swipe the card last because it takes off the paper coupons to add the ecoupons. (that was a new to me, but I saw it with my own eyes) Honestly, I really don't think I will be shopping there very much until they get things settled. Two years ago they stopped trippling to .50 if the coupon said “do not double.” I stopped shopping there. A couple of months later I needed something for dinner. I ended up using a coupon and it trippled to my surprise. I then started shopping there again. So, hopefully this mess will clear itself up and I can start shopping there again. If not, let's see how fast kroger falls down the list of grocery stores like walmart has lost it's grip to target. (headline news today)

I tried to do the Betty Crocker fruit snacks deal at the Kroger in Irmo, SC and was told that they only take 2 coupons for the same item. Thus … I didn't get the Catalina deal! Bummed but … after reading all these comments I am thinking Kroger is really not worth my time!

    • Annie

OK i have never done couponing at Kroger- tomorrow im making the drive to go. When Im adding ecoupons it says you cant use a paper coupon and ecoupon together? Do they just ignore that?

      • mclark

It depends on the store and manager. I went today to the Kroger in Flowery Branch, GA and they accepted paper coupons with ecoupons.

      • Cindy

The Kro in Huntsville, AL accepts Both.
The E coupons come off when the order is totaled, then they deduct the paper ones (I use the Self Checkouts as much as possible so there's less scrutny-and I'm NOT trying to 'get away with' something, just less hassle).
:-) My advice is to try the self-checkouts if they have them with 10-15 items. I also am picky about how my groceries are bagged-at self checkouts I do it so I'm happy.

      • jrun

at the kroger's i go to in nashville they do accept both, but i found out today that in cincinnati they do not. all of my paper coupons were handed back to me, but it was not until after i had paid that the cashier said “oh here we don't do paper and digital coupons”! i understand that it does state that on kroger's site, but it sucks that my coupons would have atleast doubled, the digital ones do not.

        • Pfamcoupons

Wednesday I was informed that Nashville will not do it anymore as well. That bums me out b/c last weekend I saved $65 at Kroger doing both. I guess I have to try Publix, I have not tried them yet however I am making a trip there this weekend.

      • Sheri

Some do. You just need to try and use both. There rule is that if you use a ecoup then you cant use a manufacturer coup. My store does not pay any attention and you can use both.

    • annie

Also is Kroger one coupon per item? like wags is.

      • Gbrooks48

I received an email several months ago saying Kroger would no longer accept any e-coupons except their own, and that you could not use an e-coupon along with a printed coupon.

    • Supersaver281

Anyone have senarios for the kraft catalina. I need help!!

    • Sibbie52

Hello everyone! I have been couponing for about 2 years now. I have found that Kroger is so hard to deal with that unless I can work up a lot of courage and fight…I just do not waste my time and energy to shop there. Publix is much more helpful and understanding about “why” we all coupon. Everytime…not just a few times, that I have gone to Kroger, everytime ends in a busted deal or a confrontation when I check out. Trust me, stick with Publix, they make it easy for couponers!

      • Bee

I respectfully disagree with respect to the Kroger I shop at.

We don't have Publix and the Kroger employees and managers are all very kind to me and are as excited about my coupons as I am.

Granted, there is variability among stores in a chain. I have heard terrible stories about all chains. For instance, Wal-green's. But my Walgreen stores are staffed with nice people who love it when I pay them a few cents for my order.

        Good luck!

        • TiffanyJack

I agree with you. Kroger is the only national gorcery store in my area and I haven't had any problems with the employees. There are a few Walgreens close by and I have found that coupons vary depending on what store I'm at and what checker I get.

I believe a lot of people are having problems because Krogers doesn't have a universal coupon policy. Each store has their own method of applying coupons to your transaction. I think it's unfair to lump all Kroger stores together based on one person's experience with one store.

I would encourage any individual who is having problem with a particular store to do one of two things. Contact the corporate office and request a written policy that includes your specific store or have a face-to-face conversation with the store's head manager asking for clarity on any issues you may be having.

          • Sheri

I agree with you. My Kroger stores are great to deal with. They are as friendly as you let them be. If you are in a good mood, then everything goes smoothly. I have noticed that the coupon policies in my area are different. At the Kroger that I frequent, there is unlimited coupons. At another 10 miles further, you are limited to ten per a particular item. (ex. you can purchase ten soaps and use ten coupons)

I lived the the Louisville area before the Columbus area. It was awful there. They weren't nice to anyone that used coupons. It does matter where you live as to the manner you are dealt with.

      • WLC

I found as a cashier at KROGER, I was “able” to help people who were behaving nicely. As soon as someone started getting an attitude I just started holding fast to the “rules” , ,,,so a little good will can go along way. My goal….NO CONFRONTATIONS…and READ the coupons so that they will not dread seeing me with my coupons!!!

    • reigh_ann

A Lot of the Coupons labeled Printable are Target coupons… Will they work at Kroger?

      • sharon60

You'll have to call and ask your store. My Kroger doesn't accept ANY competitor coupons.

    • Minkyatee

I saved 81% today at Kroger!!! That is insane!! LOL!! Toilet Paper, Paper Towels, body soap, deodorants, razors, shampoo, moisturizers. I even got a gallon of milk, and couple of other things. I only paid 18.24 oop. Thanks again Jenny!! In these crazy economic times, I don't know what my friends and I would do without you and your helpers help! I am sure everyone on here feels the same!!

      • Would you mind sharing your grocery list/coupon list? I'm new and I want to make sure I don't miss something :) If you don't want to, I completely understand. But if you do — I would SO APPRECIATE IT! xoxo

    • nemo

there is also a sale at Kroger for Dial Nutriskin lotion for only $2.99 and you can use your -$2.00 coupon

    • nemo

find dial coupon -2.00 in RP 2/20

    • TiffanyJack

I did the Fruit Snacks Catalina and found that the paper coupons (SS 3/06) were better then the printed coupons. The printed coupons clearly say “do not double”. My paper coupons doubled and I ended up spending eighty-six cents per box after the catalina.

      • Kim

I did the Fruit Snack (purchased 6) too but didn't get the Catalina. Do you think there is any recourse?

    • Mrshoule

If you have the buy one tide get the tide stain release for free. Tide $5.99, Stain release is $5.99, use the $3.00 off tide stain release and the B1G1 free and you get both for $3.00. If you also use the $3.00 off e coupon they are free.

    • Mrshoule

My Korger also has starkist tuna on sale 3 for $1.00. I have the $1.50 off of 3 and $1.00 off of 2. I think that is what it is. Anyway it worked out that I got 6 cans plus a .50 overage

      • LP30

Where did you get the coupon for starkist tuna?

      • anj

Mine had 3 for 99cents but the 1.50 off 3 was for the premium select and the sale was for the plain chunk white tuna in water. I didn't try it. You can still use the coupon out of All You- .50 off of sunkist tuna, ( I had 2) and get it free, just no overage. I got 6 cans of tuna for free! They have a limit of 9.

    • Stephanie

Duracell batteries are listed as an 8pk for 2.50 and I was excited about getting a great deal on them. But my Kroger (St. Marys, OH) only had the 4pk for 2.50. It also has fresh green beans listed as $1/lb, but they were the regular 1.99/lb.

      • Pfamcoupons

        @Stephanie
All the prices listed are not the same over the regions. For example Jenny had eggs listed for $1 in SC and in Madison, TN (where I am) eggs were $1.49. The Duracells were the same for me as well. I usually check the store paper online just to make sure we are running the same sale. HTH

    • Driley1998

I was wondering if anyone could answer a question… I have been noticing something on my kroger receipts that I don't know what is… BO Ecpn GM Breakfast 1 and also Bo Ecpn GM Lunch Snak 1. Does anyone know what this means?

    • frugalnana

We have recently been informed by our Krogers that they will no longer honor the digital coupons and a manufacturers coupon on the same item. Is this applicable to all Kroger stores nationwide? This is going to really hurt on our being able to receive some items for Free.

      • Bee

Yes, my cashier informed me, too. He said what triggered the software change was too many cash register receipts going into the negative. So, once again, people do themselves in.

I'm not particularly devastated, but I mean really, money has to be spent every once in a while and if people had just used the overage on something else, there wouldn't have been a red flag.

        • Karenc

I just stoped going to krogers… I stick to publix and lateky food lion. I have :vr had any overaget at kroger… if the item is 80 cnts and the coupon is for 50 cnts it will just add 30 cnts. And if the coupon is 1.oo off then it won't take it for an item less than the value of the coupon

          • Bee

That is for doubled coupons. I know of one item-the vicks sinex that is priced around $5 and had a $4 e-coupon and $4 paper. So, in the end it would have taken off both and created overage. But anyone having that should have got another item.

I get overage at my Kroger but not on doubled coupons. It will only double to the point it makes the item free. I don't really see a problem with that, first of all since I usually use larger coupons anyway, unless it's something like kool-aid or candy bar. And second, because it's Kroger paying for the doubling and they will just raise prices to accommodate any abuse of that.

      • Sbigham3

My friend and I both experienced rejections today for the paired ecoupon and the paper q at the Kroger in Apex, NC on 64. I went this afternoon to the Cary Kroger on Maynard and High House Road, and everything went through fine…no beeping at all!

    • Dana

The Green Giant website has a coupon for $0.50 off 1 vegetable. It does not say Do Not Double so my Kroger will double it to $1.00, which makes it only $0.28 each!!! The website only lets you print 2 though.

    • Leticiag30

I noticed that in order to get some of the PRINTABLE coupons here we have to sign in to the website that is giving the coupon (when I click on PRINTABLE takes me to a different site. Do I need to sign in to those websites to get the coupon? Sorry, I just started weeks ago and I still don't understand how couponing works.

    • Amy J.

I'm a bit thrilled…..been wanting a Swiffer WetJet for a while. On sale at my Kroger today for $19.49….I used the $5 e-coupon and $5 manufacturer Q….got it for $9.49! Not sure if the drugstores or other grocery stoes have had it for a better price or not, but i'm satisfied with that price!
