These deals started today 3/7 at Kroger stores in the South East. This is the second week of “Cart Buster” deals, and there is nothing new really from last week. shoppinglist1

**Next Week 3/14 starts the March to Savings Mega Event, see all participating items here.** I don’t know prices yet for this sale, but Mega Event deals usually make for some great savings so get ready!!

If you see any other deals in the store please share!

Remember:

  1. Load your Shortcuts and Cellfire Coupons before going out. (E coupons information)
  2. You do not have to buy 2 of B1G1 items to get the sale price.
  3. Most Kroger stores double coupons that are .50¢ or less.

If you are new read up on what all this means and how to effectively use this list to save the most.

Is it me or does it seem like a lot of the same stuff that was on sale last week?

      • brandyt

As it says on the top of the screen, it's all about the same from last week but next week there will be a MEGA event. She doesn't have pricing for that yet.

    • Rachel

Yoplait Go Gurt boxes (8 ct) are 80c each wyb 2 using cellfire 80c ecoupon and two doubled 40c coupons. My daughter loves these!

      • Erin

Thanks for the heads up–I got these yesterday!

    • ruthie

      • Linda

    • Snellmom

There is a $10 off e-coupon for Prevacid 24hour on Kroger.com. Combine that with the $10 off Prevacid coupon that was in the paper last week for $20 off. The 42 count was $26.99 at my Kroger (Atl metro area). There was a rebate in the Parade magazine of the AJC about a month ago for a free trial of the Prevacid- up to $25.99. Unfortunately I already submitted my rebate, but even without the rebate, this is a great deal. Also there is a $6 off the 14 or 28 ct size in e-coupon and paper coupon.

      • jenny

Does anyone have an extra rebate for the Prevacid 24 hour? I had one but I can't find it now.

    • knightgang

I have a hard time shopping at Kroger. They keep changing their policies and have the right to refuse a coupon, even ones from the paper.

      • Amy J.

Sorry to hear that. I haven't had a problem with mine here in Hinesville, Georgia…….yet! (hope i'm not jinxing myself!!!)
Maybe try going above the local store manager and try the district manager? There has to be a straight policy on coupons….well, at least a sensible person would think so :-)

      • Erin

Is there another local Kroger nearby that you could try? I've found that the store's culture often reflects that of the manager, and I live next to one that's not as coupon friendly as I would like, so I do all my “list shopping” at another store. Unfortunately, customer service won't get you too far–coupon usage always seems to fall under the “manager's discretion.”

Okay I'm trying to teach my husband's aunt how to coupon. She has a Krogers but she lives in Illinois. Is there anybody up there that does the same thing you do Jenny?

      • Tabitha

Go to becentsable.net, click on Grocery Store Deals, find the state you need, and you should see a list of grocery stores and different websites that post deals for them.

        • cindersga

Oh Tabitha thank you so much. My aunt has left now but I will forward this information to her. I appreciate it so much. They are 75 years old and this will help them save money. God bless you!!!

      • Tabitha

I posted a response to you, but because it had another website mentioned, it has to be approved before it is posted. Just so you know :)

Try this site… http://thefrugalmap.bargainbriana.com/the-frugal-map/ Then you can find a blogger located in her area.

I saved $68 this morning! Woohoo!

    • Good to hear that next week will be the Mega Event, I'm waiting until next week to shop. We'll be eating from our supply of food this week.

Can anyone find the Old El Paso coupons? I have clicked on all the advertisements even the right had top one and can not find them!!!! Help!!

      • Amy J.

I've looked for the Old El Paso coupons on a few different occasions….I even refreshed the web page several times, just in case the upper right ad for the Q showed up when i refreshed, but to no avail. Maybe the coupon is over?
        Anyone else?

        • Kim

I can't find it either, Jenny, do you know?

    • Linsey Lee

I am pretty much new to this whole clipping and clicking game you guys play to get the most for your money. This morning I got up and decided I was going shopping for as little as possible. I took the hints and loaded Shortcuts.com and cellfire coupons and printed tons of other coupons (which resulted in nearly 20 mins of cutting) and it payed off!
I am sure there is room for more savings, but I was pretty proud that I payed $29 and some change for over $55 worth of groceries. My husband was particularly excited. Thanks Southern Savers!!

      • itismedia

Hey thats 47% for your first try! Good job! Think about this – you were paid 26.00 for twenty minutes work!

Has anyone had a problem with the Kroger e coupons not coming off ? Last week I purchased two items and they did not come off my bill so I went back and Kroger customer Service told me that you cannot use them with a paper coupon It would have been nice if they would have told me. She also said that they were not sure why that was happening and they are waiting for an email back to see if that is the correct policy “one or the other”. I hope not

      • ASmith

This happened to me last week and I contacted Kroger via email through a link on their website. They ended up crediting my card the $1.00. They sent me an email and asked if I used a paper coupon and I said yes and they still credited me the $1.00

      • Erin

Do you have multiple Kroger cards? Because I discovered that e-coupons (Kroger, Shortcuts, and Cellfire) are limited to one per household (i.e., address), not one per card. For the longest time, I couldn't figure out why they didn't come off on my husband's card but they did on mine. Since I realized that, I've had no real problems. And I do combine with paper coupons with no problem. I hope they don't change that because I wouldn't shop at Kroger nearly as much.

      • mtbgal23

I made this mistake once- and lost sleep over it because I was so mad! You have to scan your plus card FIRST, then your groceries. That's the only way CF and SCuts will come off your order.

        • Erin

Thanks for the heads up–I didn't know that!

    • Amy J.

This week at Kroger I only plan on getting the free items (potato pouches, chex mix, etc.) and a few perishable items we are almost out of…..and the Valley Fresh Steamers for 28 cents each……this should be my cheapest shopping week ever since both my freezers are stocked full at the moment :-)

      • Barb

I agree. I will be going back this week to get more of the free/almost free items. If they are going to give it away, then I will take them up on it.

Also, I am glad to see they extend their events for 2 weeks because some people may not get paid the week of the event and need extra time.

    • Barb

The Kroger here (Knoxville) has Smart Ones $2 each and a Catalina for up to $4 when you purchase 7 items from the line.

    • Kristen

What zip is the Old Orchard juice under?

    • dianefox

Unadvertised deal at Krogers, Sevierville, TN. Dreamfields Pasta normally 2.59 on sale for 1.89. Go to dreamfields website to get a $1 coupon.

      • andyshowfan

Thanks, I will check this one out. We were needing some pasta!

    • I no longer see a Betty Crocker pouch or box potato e-coupon on Shortcuts.com, looks like it’s been taken off or I’m just not seeing it. I have the printed coupons though.

    • MrsWood

Does anyone know how to use the jimy dean confirmation code that they email you to get the coupon?

      • carolinesimmons

You'll need to go to their Facebook page and click Coupon to enter the code.

    • crystalbrothers

Boo, the tyson chicken isn't in my ad :(

    • renee06

I'm a little confused by the Kroger Q's. The ones they send in the mail have the kroger logo on them, but say manufacturer coupon…but the numbers are different than other manufactures q. So can these be stacked like publix store coupons? or can they only be used alone?

      • itismedia

At Kroger – they do not take competitor coupons. At least I have never had the luck at finding one that will.
At Publix – As long as it says manufacture on it they will let you stack with a store coupon.

        • renee06

Actually my kroger does take competitor coupons… but that wasn't my question. I was asking if the coupons I receive in the mail from Kroger can be stacked with a manufacturer coupon, like you can do at Publix. The reason I am confused is because Kroger coupons say 'manufacturer coupon' at the top, but then also have the kroger logo and a different barcode number that actaul manufactures coupons have. Basically, I am asking are these store coupons or just some sort of manufacture coupon that can only be used at kroger…

          • Deena

Kroger sends out both manf q's (with Kroger logo) and store q's. You can stack the store q's with manf q but not the manf q with Kroger logo, hope this helps.

          • itismedia

Your lucky that your Kroger will take competitor coupons! Only my Publix will. In answer to the question though, no, if it says manufacture you cannot stack it with another one. You can stack the ones that say store with one that says man, but not two that say man. Sorry, I misunderstood your first post.

    • crystalbrothers

Thanks so much for doing this! Thanks to your $1 or less post, I was able to get several things for free at kroger…yay!

    • Laura K

Bakers need to know that Gold Medal Unbleached Flour (5 lbs) is $1.50 this week here as well as Ingles. Saved me a trip when I found this sale during my Kroger run today. Yay!

    • Patty

Dial 2 bar pack is 10 for $10. With .35 q from redplum 3/7 it is only .30

      • Bekah

Sorry… tell me something about Kroger's 10 for $10… is it like B1G1, where you don't need to buy 10 in order to get the deal… you can just buy 2 and they'll be $1 each!?!? Is that how it works??

    • Patty

I got a catalina today for $4 off next order from Heinz. Does anyone know what products or how many are required to get this catalina?

    • mjm2367

I had a bad experience at my Kroger in Augusta, GA. We went to check out and when I handed the clerk the coupons she refused to take any of the internet ones. I left all the items on the counter. I went to the Customer service desk and asked when this started as I am in the store every Wed. They said it started in Jan. I asked for a copy of the list or something in writing. They printed out the list showing the fraud coupons mine were not on the list. After calling management they finally agreed to take my coupons that day if I wanted to purchase the items. I had over $5.00 in coupons. I was told that it was up to the cashier wether to take the coupons or not.. No list is at the register. Is this happening at all Kroger's

      • francesA

Which Kroger in Augusta did this happen at? Fortunately, I have not had trouble at Augusta or North Augusta. Aiken Kroger limits internet coupons to 2 per transaction.

        • mjm2367

WRIGHTSBOR ROAD LOCATION ACROSS FROM AUGUSTA MALL.

Does anybody know what you have to buy to get the $5 Iams dog food catalina?

      • Laura

No idea about the dog food, but I got a $4 Iams cat food catalina though I've never bought anything by Iams at Kroger. So maybe you have to spend a certain amount on pet food in general? These things can be pretty complex. For the cat food at least no one thing seems to be triggering it.

        • Donna

Thanks. I guess I'll just try and see what happens.

    • Tracy

It appears at least the Kroger on Bethelview & Hwy 20 in Cumming doesn't allow overage – it only double a 50 cent coupon to 27 cents

    • Kelli

I hope someone can help me. I am going to Kroger this weekend to pick up the “free” or almost “free” items. Most of these are free if you use the paper & the e-coupons. If I have more than one e-coupon for that item (i.e. Chex mix) & buy 2 Chex mix will both the e-coupons deduct or is it just one per household per visit? Thanks…

      • amyTindiana

If you have one e-coupon for Chex mix in shortcuts and one e-coupon for Chex mix in cellfire, they should both come off if you buy 2. This has always worked for me. My kids and I love Chex mix!

Okay, I'm so excited over my savings this morning that I'm about to “pop” so I must share :-)
First of all, I did my Kroger trip on Monday and spent less than $21, saved 69% using Q's….pretty good! Then as the week progressed, we ran out of (or low on) a few items, so I decided to make another Kroger trip this morning and I am sooooo glad I did!!!
These deals might only apply to my Kroger in Hinesville, GA but here goes:
Upon entering Kroger, they have a cart w/ marked down items……this morning i was pleasantly surprised that they had Crest White Strips Daily Whitening and Tartar Protection 38 ct marked at $9.09 (regular $26.24) AND Crest Advanced Seal White Strips 14 ct. marked as $9.99!!!!!! I bought one 38 ct and two 14 ct. I used a $10 Q (of course only giving me the $9.99 off) and two $7 Q's……I paid only $5.08 (before tax) for THREE boxes of Crest Whitestrips!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They also had kids Colgate toothpaste marked for 89 cents, ,so i bought three and used three .75 Q's, making them 14 cents each! and Crest Pro Health marked at 99 cents so i used $1 Q (of course they only gave me 99cents off) so that was FREE :-)
According to my receipt i saved 71% at Kroger today……i need to go back and figure up what i really saved percentage-wise……seeing as the marked down items rang up at the mark-down price.
Okay, I'm ranting……So excited, I just had to share!!!!!!!!

      • Amy J.

oh, forgot to mention that the Crest Advanced Seal 14 ct. ar regular priced at $35.99, in case anyone was wondering :-)

        • amyTindiana

That's amazing! Were these a manager's special that only that store had marked or was the regular UPC ringing up at that price? I might go check my Krogers. I have been wanting to try the Advanced Seal.

          • Amy J.

            Hi, Amy T.!
Yes, the tags do say Manager's Special…….I do hope you can find them at your Kroger for the same price though! Let me know if you do :-)

    • Jessica

For the Fiber One bars, do you already have to have a Catalina for the “Buy 3 Get $1.50, Buy 4 Get $2.50, Buy 5 Get $3.50 off your next order ” deal or does the “Get $3.50 off your next order” just automatically print out if you buy 5 of them?

      • cassia2

You don't need a catalina announcement to get the reward, so you should just get the $3.50 catalina if you buy 5. :)

    • jekka73

      i have a got a question
if you use ecoupons can you still use clipped coupons on the same item

    • jekka73

if you use ecoupons can you still use clipped coupons for the same item

    • 4kids4me

I am fairly new to the southernsavers site and went to Kroger tonight excited to get lots of great deals. The Manager informed me that two employees were fired for scanning more than two internet coupons… she said she would allow my order with every coupon just this time, but in the future they would not honor more than two coupons. (this is two coupons total not two coupons per item purchased) I am bummed because next week is the good sale!

    • brittanyl89

      do cf coupons double?

    • Aaron

I went to kroger this morning and bought some fit & trim dog food and got the iams $4 catalina. For those who were wondering how to get it.

    • claudetteS

I am very new to this, right now I am trying to figure it all out.
