Here are the deals at Kroger this week 3/8-3/14. The Instant savings deal just got a whole lot better and makes me so glad I didn’t run to the store last night. Just got back from the store and there was a ton that wasn’t advertised.  So you now have the complete list!!

If you are in the store and see something I missed please share it so we can all enjoy the savings!

**Tip: This is a very long list, copy it over to a word document delete what you don’t want and go shopping. As you put items in your cart that are part of the Buy 10 get $5 sale, then write how many you got of that item on your list to help you keep count of what is in your buggy. You can only buy up to 30 items and get $15 off per transaction. Want more than 30 just do separate transactions.**

Remember:

  1. Load your P&G, Shortcuts and Cellfire Coupons before going out. (E coupons information)

Can you please tell me where the -$1 off any Quaker Rice Snack product is located?

    • Brenda

Jenny, there’s a $1/2 Fiber One chewy bar e-coupon on ShortCuts that can be combine with the paper coupon to make them .59 each. There are so many good deals this week I can’t wait to go buy my 30 items!

    • Jill

I’d like to know about the quaker coupon as well.

    • Becca

The prices in the add are already with the deal amount off and your prices are reduced by the deal again….

Also is there differences in your add to mine, my advil, soft soap etc are not part of the deal in mine????

    • Great job again this week posting the sales! They were almost exact to North Carolina’s deals. We had a few extra that your ad didn’t, however, so I posted them on my blog for anyone who’s in this region.

    • Kelly

$1.00 off coupon for Colgate is also available in the All Well and Good booklet from Publix- makes it free or close to it I believe. Happy Shopping!

    • Thanks Jenny I love your site, it so saves me time, who needs Grocery Game if they got you!

    • thanks jenny!

    • Kim

This site is awesome, I just started all this coupon stuff a week ago and I come to this site daily, a few times a day actually!!! I love it! I’m so addicted to coupons right now, my husband told me earlier that I needed to get a healthy balance LOL. I told him, “Wait till you see the money we are saving!” On a second thought, I shouldn’t have told him that, I should just withdrawl the cash from the bank that I normally would have spent without coupons and save for a nice family vacation! That would be better LOL.
;) Thanks Jenny!!!! I love your site!

    • Lynn

Thanks for the great site! I spent yesterday afternoon going through my coupons and planning my two transactions this week at Kroger. I’m still getting the hang of the coupon stuff but with this week I think DH will be totally sold on the idea and we’ll be so stocked up on stuff that I won’t need to shop for this stuff again for months! Woohoo!!

    • Beth

My Krogers had the Gillette Men’s Shampoo for $2.00 a bottle! I went expecting to get on free bottle but got two instead! What a deal!!

    • Honey

Chiming in from Knoxville TN. I love your site. I wanted to say Buittoni products in the kroger sale have a coupon. I think its in the March All You. I think its like $1.50/2, maybe.

    • Kelly

The two krogers close to me aren’t selling the 4 pk Cottonelle toliet paper…BUMMER!

    • Beth

Are the Armour Meatballs still in the promotion?

    • Honey

Correction, the Buitoni coupon was from the Kroger mailer I received last week. Sorry!

    • Amanda

Wanted to chime in about the 4 pk Cottonelle, the Kroger in NE Columbia didn’t have it either. The space they were is now replaced by Kroger brand 4 pk. **Sad day in Columbia**
Jenny — are you able to find the 4 pk Cottonelle?

    • Kate

Hi! I went to Kroger today all excited about my abundance of coupons and was disappointed to find out that their computer system blocked my use of the Quaker quakes coupon on their 99cent special saying that the coupon exceeded the value of the item. I didn’t know this to be true at Kroger…have you found the same thing? Is there something I’m supposed to say differently to the cashier?

Thanks for your help!! And a big YAY for the Manager’s Specials on Meat on Mondays!

    • Kathy

I found the coupon for the Quaker Rice Snacks coupon at my local Publix with all of the other flyers and coloring books. It was a small booklet with recipes that use the Rice Cakes. The coupon was at the very back.

    • Amanda

I can’t find either of the Betty Crocker potatoes coupons…have they been removed?

    • Michelle

I just wanted to say thank you…I have saved so much money utilizing your website! I went to Kroger’s tonight and spent $25.00 (which included salmon on sale) and saved $34.02!!

    • I have been having P&G problems too with the e-coupons . There are alot of Good Kroger Freebies but I think there will be issues combining my e and paper coupons . I hate bargain shopping and then having to spend a half an hour at the customer service desk getting adjustments . I guess I shouldn’t complain because I only spend 20-25 a week on my family’s groceries now; but why can’t they get their act together??

    • Brenda

My e-coupons worked beautifully on items listed above. I just had my best trip yet to Kroger since discovering your website! Purchased the 30 item limit with additional “free” items and had a total value of $120 but paid only $31.09. I will be going back for round 2. Jenny, thanks so much for your awesome website!

PS..My kroger included the Welch’s Aqua Juice in the 10 deal and I was able to use the B1G1 coupon that was available a while back. Both counted toward the purchase of 10 and I was given a credit of the original $2.99 price for the free one.

    • Kaysie

Question on the Betty Crocker Potatoes.

If the potatoes are .99 per box and you use two .40 coupons, how does that make it free? Wouldn’t it still cost .19?

    • Jenny

The paper .40 cent coupon will double to be .80 cents off plus the other .40 cent coupon makes it $1.20 off one.

    • Lynn

Ok so I spent about an hour last night “updating” my list from the list here. Boy are we going to be stocked up! :) Thanks for such a great list.

Also, one of the comments mentioned Armour Meatballs – I need these for a party at the end of the month. Can anyone confirm/deny if they’re part of the sale as I have coupons as well to use that expire at the end of the month.

      Thanks again!!

    • Jenny

In my store they are right with the Tyson bagged items and I do not remember seeing a tag on the meatballs when I saw the Tyson tag. However most everything from last week is in the sale again this week so they probably are.

    • Kaysie

Okay, about the Betty Crocker potatoes again…

How do you get the paper coupon to double? I stopped at Kroger last night to try this out (with a paper coupon and an ecoupon loaded onto my card), and mine still ended up costing .19. My paper coupon did not double.

    • Jenny

The paper coupon should automatically double. Any coupon less than .50 cents will double at most Kroger stores. If you see that it does not double when they scan it (it will show Bonus coupon .40) then ask the cashier to manually double it.

    • Kaysie

Thanks for your help, Jenny. I think I need to talk to customer service at my Kroger store, because I don’t think my coupons have ever doubled there.
Is the coupon policy for Kroger the same at all locations? If so, can you find the policy anywhere online?

    • Lindsey

I’m so excited about the Kroger sale this week. There is lots of stuff that we will buy and use and get good deals on.

I had two hang tags I got on Powerade last time it was on sale. It was a buy 10 get 5 free, so with the sale, it worked out to be around .17 each for them. I got 30 last night for the stockpile.

    • lauren

It doesn’t appear that cellfire coupons double by looking at my receipt. Are they supposed to?

    • Karen

I can’t get the potato coupons to work. Maybe it’s my computer?

I noticed there is an e-coupon for Savorings, too.

    • Becca

hi there well I got done at kroger and realized that 3 items were part of the 10 that I didn’t know about…..it shows a tally at the bottom of the receipt does anyone know if it remembers so if I go buy the other 7 will it give me the $5 off???? If not I will just buy 10 to be safe…I can’t imagine why it would keep track if not for that reason????? It shows me at 23 so it gave me $10 off this trip and I know it allows 30…..

    • Jenny

It doesn’t allow you to carry items over, they have to be purchased in the same transaction. You could pick 3 of your items and return them and then get them again if you wanted.

    • Holly

Jenny, a ton of deodorant is on closeout at Kroger, combined with coupons it is less than 50 cents. I got Suave, Sure and Degree for free -.50 cents.
Also there is a box of Sure clinical strength deodorant that says try me free! Use the $2 off coupon (from one of the paper inserts) and then submit rebate for up to $6.99 back.

Sorry if this has already been posted.

    • Holly

      Brenda or Jenny-
Where do you find the Welch’s Aqua Juice? Is it next to the regular Welch’s? I couldn’t find it in my store.

    • Gabby

      Hey Jenny,

Just wanted to share that on my Cellfire (does it differ by region?) I had a coupon for $1 off any Kotex product — can be a real money saver with the paper coupon as well!

    • John

Will the e coupons work on multiple items? For instacne, if i buy two of the same products will two mfc. Does the e coupon only work on one item?

    • Sienna

      Holly,

The Aquajuice was on the bottom row under the reg. Welch’s juices at 2 of the stores that I shop at. The very bottom row! HTH

    • Jenny

The e coupons will only come off once, so if you buy 5, you only get the coupon on one item. I’m adding the new e coupons now.

    • Merrilee

Just FYI, I was at Kroger today & found Sobe life waters on a display in the frozen food section. Each bottle had a .40 off coupon stuck to it. They doubled so I got a bunch for .20 a bottle!

    • Merrilee

oh, I am in the Richmond, VA area in case it’s a regional thing.

    • Jennifer

My Kroger has quit selling the Cottonelle 4 packs and has also quit accepting competitor coupons! Bummer.

    • Becca

Does anyone know if the Aqua Juice coupons work on the regular Welches juice too???

    • Becca

Ok I answered my own question YES the aqua juice and the regular welches bar codes are the same! OH and the B1G1 welches coupon was reset!
      http://www.welchs.com/products/juices-and-drinks/livinglightly/aquajuice

    • I did great this week, saves 56% even though I bought a bunch of stuff that was not with a coupon. I did a post about it this time, listing everything out: http://spaidfamily.blogspot.com/2009/03/ive-succumbed-post-on-couponing.html
Thanks so much for all your hard work! I really appreciate the list of coupons in the inserts lists. It helped me find the extra ones that I needed this week.

I got a deal today at Kroger (Lawrenceville, GA). There was some Crest Toothpaste varieties on sale 2 for $4.00. I picked up one because I had a 75 cent coupon. When I looked at my receipt, I received an e-saver coupon for $1.50 off. That means I had an overage of 25 cents. Whoopee, whose a happy girl???
They also have some Rubbermaid containers for $1.99 for which I had a $1 coupon. The only negative… I purchased 3 Pillsbury Crescent Roll tubes and I expected the $1.50 to come off on the receipt like it had done in a previous week’s transaction. It did not. I am wondering if it is a one time use offer.

      Jenny,
Can you explain again about how to read the barcode to make sure a coupon will work with what you are purchasing. I’m wondering about my Purex coupon and my Softsoap coupon. BTW, I have found your website to be the very best. Thanks for doing a great job!

Good news! There is a printable for $1 off any Buitoni Product. I was able to print 2. Should make that Pasta a really decent price combined with the sale.

First.. THANK YOU for posting all this so diligently and thoroughly. The thought of trying to do it makes my head spin.
Second, I know you are just dying for more work to do :) and wondered if you’ve ever thought about putting the grocery store deals side by side so we can see who has the best price on milk, bread, etc without switching between all the pages. I have been putting this info into a spreadsheet and updating the most common things we buy that don’t often have coupons, but it would be nice (easy to say when I’m not doing the work) to see the sales side by side on this wonderful blog.

Feel free to give me a smack! LOL Thanks again!

Thanks so much for outlining all of these great deals! I’m new to this and was so overwhelmed until I found this site. I was able to take advantage of the mega event at Kroger and had coupons for almost everything. I was bummed to find that my P&G e-saver coupon for the Gillette shampoo didn’t come off. Apparently I entered something wrong when I signed up, so hopefully that I have it fixed now. I was hoping for some free shampoo, but at our store was marked 4.49. Still great to get it for .49, so I will try again with my next trip since I have another coupon. I did notice while looking through all of this that a lot of my q’s are different. I guess I’m not in a good market? Thanks Again:-)

Went to Kroger on Forest Drive in Columbia. After my Bi-Lo trip flopping, I tried to get customer service to explain their coupon policy. After waiting at the booth for over 10 minutes I decided to shop and quit wasting time.

I was approached by someone with “Customer Service” embroidered on her jacket. She asked if I found everything ok or had questions. I showed her my internet coupons. She said they would not accept them, nor would they accept a manufacturer’s coupon with the name of another store on it. She went on to say that any internet coupon should be printed in color. That defeats the purpose of saving money. Color printing is expensive!

I began to unload my cart of items I didn’t want and she backed up saying they would accept them “this time.” Even the Bi=lo manufacturer’s coupon for $2 of Cottonelle. Cashier rung up all my groceries, scanned the Bi-Lo coupon then handed back and said I could use it. I asked her to remove the charge and gave her the Cottonelle back. She acted very snappy after that and her body language clearly stated she was not happy any longer.

What do we do now? Just forget the internet coupons or complain every time we go?

      Jenny,

Thanks so much for outlining all these products for us. It was a HUGE help. I did the best I’ve ever done at Kroger with this list — saved 50% on my bill, almost $40 in mf coupons alone! What a high!!

Lisa, I shop at the same Kroger on Forest Drive. They have always taken my internet coupons with no problem. I do print in color, however. The savings is worth the extra cost of ink, to me. I always try to get a young high school girl cashier– they are the least picky about coupons at that store. Do NOT get in a line with a middle-aged+ female cashier or you’ll be sorry!!

I didn’t get to make my trip until yesterday and they were out of the toothpaste. I asked someone stocking juice if he knew of a toothpaste display elsewhere in the store and he said no but they were getting a new shipment because next week’s sale is nearly identical to this week. Also I had .40 Sargento Natural Shredded Cheese (5 oz.or larger) and .40 Sargento Artisan Blends or Blends Natural Shreds (5 oz.or larger), both expire April 30, that doubled to make the Sargento .69 ea. These were from a previous Sunday paper insert, but I had cut them out already and don’t know which insert.

I went to Kroger twice for the Mega 10 and bought Johnson and Johnson products and Light and Fit yogurt that didn’t come off as part of the deal even though I could have sworn I checked the bar codes and labels. If I go back and check, can I dispute it?

Capri Suns drink boxes were on sale for $1.84 at Kroger on Forest Drive today. Using the Food lion printable store coupon($1.00) makes it .84 each!

      Hi there,
What a nice bunch of people on here – always sharing info and trying to help others. I am in good company!
Kroger was great for me this week. Bought 30 items, all with coupons and part of the 10 item/$5 mix and match promotion. Spent $28.24, saving 70% (or $61.05). I noticed I also earned 67 fuel saver points (at the bottom of my receipt) and will get a free fill-up when I reach 100. Has anyone ever gotten the free gas? This is new to me.
Thanks for the wonderful site. You have saved my family lots of $$$, and me a lot of time!

    • Lindsey

Free fill up? I don’t think it’s free…they give you .10 off/gal. after you get to 100 points. Unless, you are lucky and the Kroger in your area is extra generous!
But, I think that might be a lot of free gas. It’s one point/dollar. So, that would be a LOT of free gas they’d be giving out!

    • Its the last day of the sale (but I hear it’s running again next week!) and yes, Armour meatballs were part of this weeks sale! I got 2 bags of meatballs, used the .55/1 coupons for those AND used 2 free pasta wyb Armour meatballs coupons and used those on the Creamette pasta included in the Mega Event(looks like maybe ronzoni was included elsewhere?), so just those 4 things took up a lot of my 10 items without paying much for them!

And I’m pretty sure that your fuel saver points are as the previous poster said- you’ll get $.10 off per gallon when you get gas after you reach 100 points! The great thing is, your points add up BEFORE coupons and discounts!! Like I just earned 22 points, but I only spent $4 before tax! :o)
