Here are the Kroger deals that start today 5/17 for the South East Region. These deals might differ slightly if you are in a different region for Kroger, but the main deals tend to be the same in most areas.  They are having a great $1 sale (they call it 10 for $10, but it is really all just $1 each).

**Tip: If you get there tomorrow and they are out of something get a rain check!  You can get the sale price when they are restocked**

Matches for Cellfire eCoupons.  Cellfire will load new e coupons on Tuesday so if you want to use any of these e coupons load them now!

I recommend loading any Cellfire or Shortcuts coupons you think you might use. Better to do that than wish you could load it in the store. Don’t worry so much about P&G eCoupons.

Remember:

  1. Load your P&G, Shortcuts and Cellfire Coupons before going out. (E coupons information)
  2. You can use a paper coupon with all the above e coupons for FREE products or even better savings WHY
  3. You do not have to buy 2 of B1G1 items to get the sale price
  4. Most Kroger stores double coupons that are .50¢ or less

There is also a -.35/1 Dial Soap coupon in this week’s insert

    • Kelly

Will the pdf Ralph’s coupon work for the Vitamin water? Will they not take it because it says Ralph’s on it or will it not matter?

    • Publix ABS(yellow flyer) has a $1 off sara lee cheesecake bites or simple sweet pies Manufacturer Q.

    • Mina

Kelly, Ralph’s is the Kroger Company store in California. That q came from radio station promo that ended some time ago, and was not promoted, offered, or advertised in the region of our Kroger stores. Even if the cashier doesn’t know those things when ringing coupons, informed managers would know that it wasn’t meant for those of us here. Would a bottle of water be worth the worry of having a possible problem coupon tied to your account? I just don’t see corporate Kroger being thrilled to see a deluge of their Ralph’s q’s coming in from areas of the country that they didn’t offer them.

    • Stephanie

2 additions to deals listed here…Buy $15 worth of Huggies and get $3 off instantly. Also, buy 4 of the Digiorno or CPK pizzas and get $5.00 off next order Catalina.

    • Kathleen

Get $3 off at register wyb $15 worth of Huggies at Kroger this week

    • Wow! Lots of great deals at Kroger this week. I’m excited!

    • Lizel

      Kelly,
I used 3 BOGO (which are in a publix flyer) and 6 of the (Ralph’s) .50 off on Friday and got 8 free. I live in middle GA. I had only one problem. One of the coupons would not scan so I really paid $1 for 9.

    • Natalee

I’m new to Kroger…Do they take competitor Qs????

      Bush’s Beans 3/$5 and I have $1 off 2 Bush’s Beans from Target!!

    • They don’t take competitor coupons, but Publix does. However, not all Publix accept Target coupons anymore.

    • I did the huggies deal. I purchased 1 huggies diapers, 1 pullups used -1.50 off huggies Q, -2.00 pullups Q, then -2.00 pullups from SC and -1.00 huggies cellfire. I then got -3.00 store promotion= both packs for $8.50+tax.

    • MiniMidgMom

Natalee, my Kroger takes competitor’s but I’m not sure who they consider competitors b/c the cashier told me everybody – when I started quizzing him he said yes to all, from Kmart to Walgreens. Sounded too good to be true so I haven’t pushed it!And some cashiers at my store say a manager has to clear the comp coupons, others just ring them up but all mine have been accepted in the end. I use the same competitor’s that my Publix accepts – FL, SuperTarget and of course Publix.

The Vit Water says Ralph’s but it also clearly states it is a manufacturer’s coupon, has a UPC and gives directions for the store to submit. It is not a Ralph’s store only coupon but I guess a manager can still say no.

I’m so glad Kroger is not requiring 10 items any more! i just found that out yesterday.

I’m in a region where the sales ads do not match up what Jenny posts, and my Kroger flyer does not arrive until Wednesday so now I need to ask to have one mailed to the home.

I emailed Huggies, a have a daughter with developmental delays who aged out of their baby club but still uses baby products. They re-enrolled me and sent me $20 worth of coupons – including 2 for $6 off 1 pack of Huggies diapers! This is where I’m using one of those coupons (the coupons are even shiney and silver, like the Huggies version of Willy Wonka’s golden ticket!)

    • Erica

      MiniMidgMom –
You can view the weekly ad on Kroger’s website. You can even click the items to make a shopping list.

    • The coupons I printed out for the Green Giant Frozen Vegetables specifically say Do Not Double or Triple. Will Kroger still double those to get the veggies free as you posted?

    • Julie

I used the Ralph’s coupon last week w/ no problem; I think it says “Avail at Ralph’s” but it IS a Mfr coupon, not store specific. I never try store-specific coupons at Kroger.

Anyone know of any deals on 2-liters (soda) this week? I forgot this was the week I’m throwing end of quarter parties at school and need a bunch!

    • Sandra E

I can’t get the Pepperidge Farm/Prego printable coupon…it is not listed? Anyone else?

    • Val

      Lizel,

Can you explain exactly how did it work out that you only spent only a $1.00 and got 9 bottles of water. I must be sleep walking because it is not computing. Sorry!

    • Mina, in reference to Ralph q’s being used in different region, I purchase 2 papers every sunday, and one week there was a Kroger q insert included, one of the inserts was actually Ralphs(I may still have it) national brands were the same, but the store brands were different, ex. I had a Kroger q for Big K and Ralphs Q for shasta drinks and was able to the q’s in both inserts.

    • Lizel,
It does look confusing when you first read it but know I get it…you used 1 BOGO Q in conjunction with 1 $.50/1 for 6 q on the items, $.50/1 for the remaining 3 items, but one of the q did not take (or double)…I was calculating 12 items, but I now remember you can use a BOGO q with a manu q because the BOGO q is technically for 1 item…right? hmmm

    • Lisa

Can you double up the huggies deal? ie If I buy $30 of products, can I get $6 off? Or do I have to do separate transactions?

    • Helen

Jenny, do you know how many times I can get this offer: Huggies Jumbo Pack Diapers $8.99 ea and then still get the $3 off wyb $15 in Huggies Products.

It worked great the 1st time.

Thank you for everything you do. Every week, with your help, I manage to stay below my budget.

      **** Natalee – – MiniMidgMom *****

I was told by one cashier they took our local grocery stores coupons (most are major chains). This was a week ago. Today at checkout I was told they had no reason to take them and handed them right back to me. Unfortunately, it just seems to depend on who you get and what mood they are in.

    • Lauren

I live in California, are all these deals the same at Ralph’s?

    • Lizel

Couponmom.com states “Re-stocked printables for KRAFT products” but when I try to go reprint it says “print limit reached” I deleted my history but still wont work. What is the solution?

    • Kareen

having trouble printing the koolaid coupons? says sending to printer and then nothing???? can anyone help?

    • Kristen

Since I’m new to this, I have a question for you long time couponers. I’m hoping to stock up on some 12 packs of coke products for the summer. I see that I can get 5 12 packs for $2.60 each this week at Kroger. Is this a good deal or should I wait? I’m not really in any hurry, just trying to get a good deal. I haven’t gotten into the CVS shopping yet, but I think I read somewhere that there was a better chance on getting a coke deal there. Can some lend their expertise? Thanks!

    • Julie

Kristen, i’m not sure abt Coke but I buy a TON of Pepsi 12-packs for my husband; the 5 packs for $12 (anywhere from $2.40-$2.60 ea) is about as good as gets sans coupons which are few and far between unless you do Coke Rewards or Pepsi Xtras. I would imagine Coke is similar.

      ******

On another note, went to get the ScotchBrite sponges, and my insert coupon was only for $0.75 off MULTIpacks. Only the single ScotchBrites were $1.00. :-( But we love all that $0.08 Kraft BBQ Sauce!

    • I saw a few things in the store today that i did not think was on the list. French’s mustard reg. 2.69 now 1.49, use .50 Q= .49 cents.
Mentos gum 10/10 -.55 Q =.45 cents, Crystal lite singles on sale for $2.50, use free skin essential with purchase Q and -1.00 coupon from coupons.com=2 boxes for 1.50.

For you ever was asking, my huggies ad said limit 2 $3 promotions per transaction.

    • Alyssa

If you have the Publix Personal Concierge booklet, there is a $1 on any one Hellman’s Mayo (manufacturer coupon). You can combine that with the .60 off cellfire for cheap mayo – $0.89!!

    • Kathleen

The Huggies deal states 2 rewards per transaction. I bought 4 packs – got $ 3 off that transaction and $3 off the next transaction.

    • Jenn

Jenny ( or anyone else), in your ecoupon blog it says,”On a side note I no longer trust Shortcuts or P&G coupons to work even when used all on their own and see that many of you are also having problems with these two companies.”

Has your opinion changed? I am headed up to WV this weekend, and have about 40 people that I am trying to feed on a very limited budget and just trying to get the best deal that WORKS!!

      Thank you so much!!!

      • Jenny

        Jenn,

Lately my shortcuts e coupons have been coming off without problems so I guess my opinion has changed a little. I still rarely use P&G e coupon since most of these items are priced better at Drugstores with sales.

    • Julie

I have not had any problem thus far getting Shortcuts or PG e-coupons to work and I’ve checked my receipts anticipating a problem… nothing. I’ve also not had a problem with my stacked paper coups doubling on TOP of the e-coup (read that complaint here also, I think).

You DO have to make sure you buy the right item; whereas SOMEtimes a paper coupon will get accepted even if it’s the wrong variety/size I’ve found that e-coups are linked to the EXACT item they’re intended for.

    • Kroger has Bannana Boat sunblock buy 1 get 1 free plus use (2) 1.00 manufacturers coupon makes it approximately 7.99 for 2 bottles of Banana Boat sunblock

    • Jennifer

I have a questions about shortcuts and cellfire. There are multiple ecoupons for huggies on these sites, i.e. $3.00 off 2, $1.50 off one and $1.00 off one. How does the system decide which one to use? And, is it possible it would use a coupon off each single package of diapers and then the $3.00 off of two?

    • dena

I don’t find the dentastix coupon when I follow the printable link. Anyone help with this? Anyone else found it?

I also didn’t see any answer to the Green Giant coupon stating “do not double.” Anyone know about this?

      Thanks!

    • Leah

I had a fantastic save with the krogers huggies promotion this morning. I had some $3 off one pack of any brand huggies, a Q for wipes & one for lotion plus the instant savings and the cell fire and shortcut Q’s.

I ended up getting 3 packages of diapers, 2 packages of wipes and 1 baby lotion for $14.21!! I was pretty darn proud!

Also for Kashi lovers, my local Kroger (on Jonesboro Rd in Lake city, GA) had a Kashi display with some Pamphlets in it with $6.00 worth of Q’s in each. If you are headed to Kroger it would be worth checking out the natural foods section to see if yours has one too. They don’t expire until 12/31/09 so I was pleased to find them!

    • nydia

I think that the green giant coupon is YMMV because if they want to decide not to double it then they dont have to, but my Kroger cashiers dont pay attention to print on them like that and the computer automatically doubles them, and they dont do anything to fix the double. I would still buy them at 50 cent a box so I dont worry so much if they double or not, just a nice bonus to me.

    • robin

I found a pork coupon on ebay for $3.00 off freash pork
      http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid=m38&_nkw=coupon+pork

    • Lauren

Kristen, and anyone else who likes COKE,
I found that both VONS and Albertson’s have coke on sale for 4 for $9 and the smart and final ad had a manufacturer’s coupon for buy four packs get on free. So you would get 5 12packs of coke for $9! ($1.80 each)

    • Rebecca

Does anyone know if the Huggies Pure & Natural are included in the sale this week? Just trying to get all my coupons and list together to go shopping later tonight and I didn’t know if these were included. Thanks so much!!

    • Fabiola

I cannot find the coupons for Scotch Brite Sponges RP 5/10 or
-$1/2 Scotch Brite Sponges RP 4/19
Anyone one where I can find the coupons?

    • Leah

      Rebecca,

My Kroger does not carry the pure & natural diapers but I remember reading on another blog that they are on sale at wal-mart this week for $9.70ish for the jumbo pack. So the savings aren’t as good but if you have a ton of the $3 off Q’s like I do it does make a difference!

    • Kathi

Strange thing happened at Kroger today. Cashier counted my coupons, that was fine, read each one, that was fine, checked my expiration dates (asked me if they were all good) they were fine.

I did not buy any Velveeta cheese, but she informed me that they won’t take any Velveeta cheese coupons because they were frauds. I told her I had printed one from the Kraft site. She said Kraft said they hadn’t put out a coupon.

      Anyone else heard of this?

Thanks for all your hard work! I love this site.

    • Lisa

Anyone know what the 3 days sale are. I saw part of the add on T.V. and only caught that it was bread and water!!! What does that say about the economy???

    • paige

I got emailed a fake free with no experation date velveeta coupon! I called the person and told them to delete it,and not to use it! Also a free rynolds coupon they look like they are from the 80’s. Just very very fake.

    • Amy

Those who are having trouble with e-shortcuts, according to their website, it is done by zipcode. If you registered your zipcode, coupons only work at the stores in your zipcode. If you are going to different stores, the coupons will not work. I personally do not use cellfire. I am not about to be messing around with my cell phone in the grocery line trying to convince a cashier to use a coupon off of it. What a hassle!

    • Leah

Amy- you can use cellfire on loaded on to your kroger plus card, just like e-shortcuts. I never ever load mine on to my phone, just my kroger card.

With all the difficulty in getting cashiers to just accept the normal coupon policy I cannot imagine having much success in getting one to take a Q from my cell phone.

    • sarah

To MiniMidgMom: re: Kroger ads running Wed – Tues – if you wait until Wednesday, then most of what Jenny posts here will match up. Since you are in a different region AND each region has it’s own flyer, some things won’t match up. The same goes for the coupon fliers found in the newspaper. You can also go to kroger.com and get your ad – but the new one typically does not show up until Tuesday evening. Also, couponmom.com can sometimes match up the sales for YOUR area but is more complicated than southernsavers.com.

    • jennifer

huggies for $3! Cellfire is working with paper coupons, plus $3 off promo!

    • Julie

Found one more dealio today while shopping for camping this wkend:

Johnsonville Breakfast Links 2/$5.00 (Use 2 $1.00 off any Johnsonville Sausage – makes them $1.50 each! Sorry, not sure of the insert those came from)

    • Gail

I used my $.50/1 Reach coupons at Publix, but when shopping at Kroger I saw that the flossers are $1.00. So they’d be FREE when the coupon doubles. Sorry, if it’s already been posted.

    • Larissa

Didn’t have a good experience today with Cashier at Kroger. She didn’t want to try to scan the coupons from coupons.com. Said, “It will make the items free, and our system won’t take that.” I explained that she just had scanned my grill seasonings and that they were free. She said that’s because they came from the paper. I argued over one of them that wouldn’t have made that item free, and she scanned it with the hand scanner. Guess what: it worked! She refused to scan my Green Giant coupons because she said they’d be free. The coupon I had said “do not double,” so they would actually have been 50 cents each. I didn’t want to be nice, but I remained calm, considering it was a dollar….. Any thoughts?

    • Just got back from Kroger, Two Notch Columbia SC.. They are not taking the Vitaminwater coupons – – hadn’t read the early post before going. Also, they refused several other of my Green Giant, said they were duplicates (I had not copied, just printed the limits). I am going to talk to manager next time just to make sure everything is right. Clerk said they had same numbers on them????

Anyone have the Three Day deals listed?

Just got 4 California Pizza Kitchen (rising crust) and 4 Weber Grill Spices, used 4 $2 of CPK (printable from a while weeks ago), and 4 0.50 Weber Coupons. Total due: 12.xx, and I got back a $5 OYNO from the pizza! $7 for 4 of those pizzas is great, they’re normal 7.69 each! I’ve been waiting a while to try them, and this was a great deal!

Has anyone else had fits with CellFire and Shortcuts? My coupons only work about every 3rd visit to Kroger. It’s so frustrating trying to figure out what didn’t work and dispute them every time you go shopping. I just disputed some Shortcut items that just worked and they didn’t give me the full credit! The reason was that I had reached my disputed amount limit. How crazy is that? It’s not my fault that they can’t get their systems in order. My friends in this area are also having the same problem. You never know from visit to visit whether you are going to get credit for the coupons?????

I’m new to using coupons, but I am now addicted to southern savers. It’s wonderful. I went to Kroger yesterday and I think I did okay. My original total was around $80, after coupons and savings, my out of pocket total was $44. I was excited considering I’m new to this. I found a coupon (randomly located in the store–not in the meat section) for $3 off instantly any package of ribs, with no minimum purchase required, and no maximum coupon limit per transaction. It was from Budwiser, but you didn’t have to purchase any beer product to use the coupon. I was excited about this since we were planning on grilling ribs for Memorial Day. Last week there was a similar coupon from a beer company, saving $3 off instantly any package of ground beef. I guess I just have to be on the lookout.

Thanks for all your hard work! I appreciate it. I love everyone’s comments too. It’s very encouraging.

I got all excited because the new week’s ad has Sara Lee and Pepperidge Farm full line sale 50%. Then I hit the magnifying glass. Small letters say “Frozen 7-47 oz.” Ah, well! Still some good stuff; just not “everything”. My freezer is stuffed, though. I couldn’t fit even a 7oz. treat in there. Wait! That means we’d just have to treat it like we did ice cream this week, and eat it as soon as it arrived home.
