the coupons i printed from coupons.com say not to double…will kroger double them?

      • Ginnywade

If the bar code on the coupon starts with a 5, most of the time they will double it.

        • ashley

thank you…mine do have a 5 on them..

      • NC_angel

I got grief last week at Kroger's here in Raleigh, NC with the internet printables that stated ” do not double” or even “not subject to doubling”.

        • ashley

my kroger is pretty good about coupons…just never had such a large amount that said do not double…just wanted to make sure before i went out…

    • Guest

How can I get the kroger at home mailer? Thanks!!

      • Chewie

If you have a Kroger card, you should receive the mailers. You can go to the Kroger web site and check to see if they have your correct information on file. ( you can also call them to check it)

      • Hasfam

I've had a kroger card for 10 years but never received any home mailers until a week ago. I had registered my card on line to receive the ecoupons so I believe just having a kroger card doesn't get you anything. Its probably the registering on line that gets them mailed to you. Thats just my experience

        • ashley

i've had my card along time too…only received one thing from them

        • A_shrader

I had my card registered online for 4 months…still nothing…called customer service, they checked the activity on my card and agreed I should be getting the mailer….still nothing. Miraculously last week they came.

    • Heather

I was at Publix today (Midway in Alpharetta, GA) and the cooler case just past the registers had $1 off 2 Vitamin Water coupons…..

      • Honeysmith

I also found those at my cvs in the front cooler.

    • Honeysmith

If I'm not mistaken, there is a Kroger ecoupon for the “ice pix” (popscicles things)

      • Alli W.

The Kroger ecoupon for the “Ice Pix” is for the 24 ct. size. The sale is for the 12 ct. size. Shucks. I got excited there for a second. :)

    • guest

Kroger doubles manufacture coupons – Do they double if you use the cellfire e-coupon?

      • Beth

Cellfire coupons do not affect the doubling of manufacturer coupons.

    • Tara

Check your Kroger Home Mailers. I recevied a .75/3 Del Monte Vegetables, Tomatoes or Fruit Coupon recently that goes nicely with the Mega Sale items.

    • Guest

For the Fiber one and Nature valley catalina deals: If I buy 3 Nature Valley ($1.50 catalina) and 5 Fiber One ($3.50 Catalina)… can I do all 8 products in one transaction and get both catalina coupons together, or do I need to seperate them into 2 transactions?

      • I'm fairly certain that this catalina is actually combined so buying 5 of either (mix or match) will give one catalina. If you bought more than 5 you wouldn't get two since they are the same offer.

If they had not been the same offer then yes you would get two catalina's back.

      • Sherry

I definitely would do two transactions.

    • Monica

This is probably not the right place for this, but I can't print the Smart Source coupons. I get an eror message that Java is not enabled on my computer, but it IS enabled. Frustrating.

      • kristenp

This may or may not help – but when that's happened to me in the past I've uninstalled Java (on your computer start menu look under “control panel” and “programs and features” and should find it and be able to click “uninstall) and then reinstalled it through their website. That's fixed it for me a couple of times before – hope it works for you

        • mary4c

I can't ever print from the link Jenny provides. I just type in smartsource dot com and I can print just fine.

      • NC_angel

When this happens on my computer, Java is running really slow. So I hit the jump back button and press print again and it goes through just fine. I hope that helps :)

    • Amy

I LOVE LOVE LOVE KROGER & SOUTHERN SAVERS!!!! THANKS JENNY FOR ALL YOU DO!!!!
I have been blessed to live in a region where they enjoy seeing how much I save almost as much as I do!!! Thanks to the Kroger employees in the Laurel, MS store and the stores in the Jackson/Brandon area!! You guys do not make me feel like I am “doing something wrong” as a lot of other stores do around here. I am HOOKED on couponing….just wish I had done this the past 20 years of my married with children life. We would be so much better off financially….but we are getting back on track thanks to Jenny, Kroger, Walgreens and the good Lord above!!! May God Bless you all!!!!

    • Laurel

the 2 liter coke products are on sale for .99 at my Kroger

    • Kim

I just found this site a few days ago and have been trying to figure it out. Its just wonderful! I have a few questions about this Kroger sale. I hope its ok to ask here. Can you use a cellfire coupon and with another kind for the same item. I'm getting confused. I know it said you can stack a manufacturer coupon and a store coupon, but what are the cellfires classified as? Like for the Fruit Gushers, I printed one from the link that says manufacturer and loaded a cellfire. Can I use both of those for the for just two boxes or do I have to buy four? Also, is there some meaning to the ones typed in red and those in blue? Also, all of the shortcut links are not working for me. Is that a glitch or me? Sorry about all the ????? This site is just great. I can't wait to get the hang of it!

      • guest

am doing the cellfire qs but do they double-can it be used more than once-thanks for all the info-have saved many $ thanks again

        • lynn

The cellfire Q's do not double. They are only used once. Unless you have Two loaded on your cellfire account, and you buy two products, it MAY come off both products. YMMV (Your mileage may vary). You would be safer to do two transactions, to be sure the cellfire Q would come off of both.

      • Hasfam

Unfortunately my kroger doesn't allow both ecoupon and a paper mfr coupon together, but that's just the kroger here. Others may be different. Once I tried to circumvent the system and not swipe my card until the end to see if the ecoupons would take effect, which they did, but I lost the mega deal and all the paper coupons under 50c didn't double. A big mess and had to redo everything at the service desk. There would be some good deals listed above if the krogers did take both ecoupons and paper Qs. Good luck.

      • Jilljova77

Kim- At my Kroger, the cellfire and the Manuf coupons can be used on the same object. I do it all the time with the fruit snacks especially. I always scan my Kroger card first or the e coupons dont come off. I never every store is different so I would try it first and see what they say.

    • miatd

i didnt see the minute maid frozen treats in my ad for this coming week…..is this a regional deal?

      • kkat0323

They were on the last page of my ad. I live in GA.

    • Rittab

Please help…really new to to tracking and matching coupons. I spent several hours matching and had a huge savings at Kroger….358.00 and only paid 158.54 after coupons. I should have received several catalinas for money off my next purchase, but they didn't print. What should I do? How can I get my catalinas because I planned my shopping around receiving them. Thanks in advance.

      • Mechlingfamily

Take your receipt to customer service and tell them the Catalinas didn't print. My Kroger gives me the cash right there. Some people have had success calling Catalina's 800#.

      • Plaidjenn

I'd call catalina directly. The number is 1888-8coupon and tell them you didn't get it. You need your receipt with the date and time and products purchased handy and need to tell them what catalina you were expecting. They will mail it to you if you were supposed to get it.

      • Francomom00

I had this happen last week with the Progress soup catalina. I went to customer service and she gave me a Kroger card with the $3 on it.

    • AshleyQ

I just had a run-in with Kroger yesterday. I have now had a chance to calm down but it was still very frustrating and wanted to let you all know. My experience happened with “Mr. A” at the Lakeside Plaza, Cumming, GA location, for those of you in my area!!! I do want to preface that he was very professional and tactful the entire time. I tried to do the same but if you know me… I am loud no matter what, and that can be taken the wrong way. This is also a synopsis, it isn’t the exact order and other comments may have been added but this is the ‘jest’ of it… sorry it’s long!!!

The issues came about with the Sobe BOGO coupons and them not wanting me to use them. 1st his argument was they don’t accept Q’s with “specials.” (Really?!?) “I do that ALL DAY Long… All the time!!!” Then it was that I couldn’t use them with a “Promotion.” (Really!?!) “Why can’t I, I have in the past. I can stack a Kroger Coupons with a MQ, can I not?!?” At that point he agreed, nodded his head, and said I could!! “Then why can’t I combine them with this promotion?” Next He mention that when he scans the coupon that it doesn’t recognize the amount. “It’s not going to, with those coupons you have to enter the amount of the product. “ His last argument was that I wasn’t paying $.99 for them. I had a few responses for this… (1) But wait,” you are assuming that I am purchasing multiples of 8 and I have 10, you are making assumptions” (I truly didn’t have multiples of 8 for the entire order) (2) “You are going to be reimbursed with whatever you write on the coupon, whether you put $.49 or $.99, plus $.08 for the coupon, so what is the problem?” At that point I proceeded to tell him, “it is fine you do not have to sell them to me we can take them off. You do not have to make the sale, you do not have to make the profit margin and you do not have to make the 8 cents. I can take the coupons to CVS and get them free all day long there. He then took them and finished checking out. I OF COURSE thanked him and told him I appreciated it!!!!

It gets better, I got home and realized that the $8 from the promo didn’t come off so I immediately went back to the store and got the money. I was about to return every single item I had and be done with this Kroger!!!! They ended up giving me cash with NO PROBLEMS what so ever; she was even apologetic to me. So, at this point, I have not ruled out giving this Kroger my business… but it may happen soon if these situations keep coming up!!! There are too many Krogers between where I work and where I live to not take my business elsewhere, and this isn’t even a very nice Kroger, it is a little older and smaller than most of the others convenient to me!!!!

I will probably call corporate about the issue on Monday because I am that frustrated with what happened, there isn’t anything wrong with figuring out the couponing system. When manufacturers need to pull back on reducing a product they will quit issuing coupons for it, when was the last time you saw a coupon for Green Giant Steamers in the Sunday papers, case in point! This should be up the Manufacturers on what they will reimburse, not the store!!!

Thanks for letting me VENT!!! I am glad I stood my ground and not let them manipulate me when I am not doing anything wrong!!!

      • Lsmith7476

I hate this kroger…..i do however like the one at exit 17….

      • jrf

I can't stand this Kroger, the one on Bethelview is closer to me, but it's still a very unpleasant shopping experience. How can the employees and customers at Kroger be so opposite those at the Publix three miles down the road? I will give Publix my business, just to have a more relaxed shopping experience. Kroger and Wal Mart are on our family DO NOT SHOP AT list!

    • Army4us4

Does Kroger take competitor's coupons such as Publix?

      • Chevtaph

No. Not that I'm aware of.

        • Amystanly

My Kroger (30043) used to accept competitor coupons but not any more. I go to Publix to get competitor coupons accepted.

    • DanaM

I had an issue at Kroger yesterday and none of my coupons doubles (.50q). I think it was because I had them swipe my Kroger card after a few items had went through. I went to customer service and they said it was because some said do not double….However, those always double too and that doesn't explain the ones that didn't say that not doubling. I wrote corporate, but I have a feeling its a lost cause. Has this happened to anyone else?

      • Tammy

I have called coprorate about some q's that did not double and it is their policy to double anyway. I also called the store manager and he confirmed that yer they double even if it says do not double.

      • june

Our kroger in Indiana did this last year. I quit going in for a while because of the new policy. A few months later I stopped in and they were back to doubling all coupons. I'm not sure if it is just uninformed managers/employees or if it is at the descresion of each store.

    • Krc8869

Is it me or are none of the cellfire coupons on cellfire. Like the yoplait yogurt. Am I doign something wrong?

    • Chevtaph

How do I get Kroger's Home Mailer?

      • WynetteC

I've shopped there sporadically over the past year, and since my shopping doesn't qualify to what corporate told me would meet the sales requirement of a monthly customer, I don't receive the mailer. What's the monthly requirement? I was told, by corporate in Ohio I think, that I need to spend between $400-600/mo. This amount may be before coupons, but I still don't even get close to that. Maybe you'll have better luck. :)

    • NCcouponer

Anyone having trouble finding the SoBe e-coupon??

      • AshleyQ

Oh, it is my favorite these days!!! http://headsortails.sobe.com/ You have to play a game, it took me a few tries/days before I could get all the way thru it but finally did. You can print 2 per day per email address… It seems I have better luck on firefox than explorer, but it does work on both.

      • Cbear1415

Its in the summer of savings e-coupon center on the same page as the spin the wheel game:) it took me a while to find it:)

        • Cacartwright

can you tell me where you found the sobe coupon. I still can't find it.

    • Randi

I cannot find the SOBE eCoupon on Kroger's website. Do I need to enter a certain zip code? I see on for Fuze but not SOBE.

      • Beth Paulding GA

I couldn't find mine either. Then I looked a bit more and clicked on the redeemed tab and mine was in there…I had already used it. Maybe you used yours up? HTH

      • Alslaughter2

You can go to sobe.com and play the game. I can print 4 B1G1 free coupons per day by loggong into the my Sobe acct and then Facebook. You can print 2 off of each but you have to go back in and play the game twice. I have gotten 8 free Sobe’s everyday since the mega event has been going on at Kroger.

    • Jm Harrelson

      yep no sobe coupon here

    • Heather N.

Don't forget the Kroger 3-day sale. 8/15-8/17. It was in the AJC, p A-15.

LUNCHABLE COUPON FOR $1 MAKES THEM FREE!!!!!

If you google printable lunchable coupon and follow the directions to post to facebook then you get a $1 off coupon

    • Asnow4sure

I have quick question…heading off to Kroger and I'm confused about Ecoupons. I have Ecoupons with cellfire, kroger and shortcuts loaded. I wrote down all coupons that I had loaded from each site. Can I use them all??? For example….I have 2 coupons loaded for chex mix from cellfire they have diff expiration dates. Then Kroger shows that I have 2 for chex mix with diff exp dates. Then shortcuts shows 1. Does that mean I can use 5 or does that mean that I will only get one ecoupon????

      • sarahcas

In the past for me, I've only been able to use one ecoupon per transaction even if the coupons come from different sites for the same item. If you want to buy multiples of that item, you'll probably want to do multiple transactions. HTH

      • Stephanie

Cellfire, and Shortcuts have recently changed to if you add an item in either one it automatically shows up on your loaded Kroger coupons. Try it out and see. It use to be nice to use all three sites on one item.

        Stephanie

      • guest

I wondered the same thing. I had several of the same ecoupons that had different exp dates, and I was able to use all of them separately. Also, I was able to use manufacturer coupons and competitor coupons as well, such as Rite Aid Up+ rewards and $5 off $20 purchase coupon. It made for a great trip to Kroger. Spent $46, saved $151.

    • sarahcas

I stopped in Kroger this morning to check the cereal prices because the ones in the ad in my paper (Knoxville which is part of the Atlanta region for Kroger) didn't have the general mills cereal for $1.48 other than the small boxes of trix. They did have some of the bigger sized boxes for $2.99, I believe it was. Just a heads up for some others of you in the Atlanta region.

    • Samantha

I don't know if this will help anyone out, but I couldn't find a bunch of the coupons in my SS 8/08 from the AJC, but I just found them! They came in a seperate insert from General Mills, from the same date. Maybe that's considered the SS and I just didn't know, but hope that helps! I believe it was the Nature Valley granola clusters, Pillsbury rolls, and Totino's pizza roll coupons. I was so mad at first, I hate when we miss out on good coupons!

      • Lauren

Ha! I did the same thing. I didn't realize the GM insert was actually a SS insert.

    • Lisaegan36

Does Kroger make you buy 10 items on the 10 for 10$ or can you just ge the items for 1$ a piece?

      • Peg938

Not in Tn…can't be sure about everywhere else.

        • Peg938

Sorry, I should clarify….you DO NOT have to buy 10 to get the $1 price.

      • itismedia

In Georgia you can buy them for 1.00 a piece.

      • Lauren

In Richmond, VA you can buy them for $1 a piece too ~ don't have to buy 10 to get the $1 price.

    • Hesperides

I really, really wish there were more organics/health foods/produce in the weekly ads. I do save a ton of money, but I just get so frustrated going through their ads and seeing all the stuff I won't buy… Just a whine.

      • Rachel

I can relate! I’m pretty excited about the Kashi froz pizza 3.25 after mega and q. We like to top them with fresh veggies and extra mozz, yum!! I also seem to be getting several qs for free or free after q healthy items like clif kids bar, fruit rope, and luna bar. Some print at the register and some come in the mail from Kroger. You may want to check out http://savingnaturally.com/ if you haven’t already. I like to see the savings I get on tolietries/cleaning supplies etc as giving me more fudge room to spend more on healthy food. We may pay more now but we will save in the long run!!

    • Damahurin

There was a new coupon for .50 off minute maid frozen novelties in today's RP. Makes it free!!!! YAY

    • Palmersmith

Just found a Luchables coupon for $1 off! http://kraft.promotions.com/lunchnotespromise2010/page.do?page=spreadtheword.html
Follow the link and if you allow them to post the promo on your FB page, you can print a coupon for $1/1. I was able to print 2!

    • Jbarnwell

If I have an e-coupon to save $5.00 off of Enfamil and then I have a paper coupon to save $5.00 off of Enfamil, will it take $10 off??
If I have an e-coupon and a paper coupon, will it use both of them???

      • Amy J.

yes, you are allowed to use both of them……great deal there for ya!

    • UFKICK

If this has already been mentioned,….sorry,I didn't have time to scroll through all postings – just left Kroger in Dallas, GA – cashier and front end manager informed me that they are no longer taking any “printed” coupons that give you something free…..Clipped from a flyer or paper are fine….but printed from a computer, no good anymore – don't know if this is store specific but I nicely asked them to remove the items that were to be free (which fell into the buy 8 get $4 off…..WHICH should have then disqualified me to get the $4 off but somehow, I still got it :) so I felt a little better about my “rejection”!) Oh and I had just used “free” coupons 2 days prior – ah well…

      • cb

The stores in the Richmond, VA haven't accepted IP coupons for free items for quite some time…over a year.

        • Valerie_close

BOGO is different from “Free” according to Kroger corporate. BOGO IP's should be accepted according to Kroger's policy! My store tried to give me a problem once, but then I refrenced the coupon policy and they accepted them. It is all a matter of interpretation!

      • Mitchellkramb

This is normal. As this coupon movement continues to rapidly grow, the more idiots there will be using fake coupons for free items. 'FREE' coupons do exist, even for very high dollar amounts, we know this, but there almost never printable!

ps: two of my publix stores will NOT accept ANY coupon that is *printed* and says 'By this get that free' … no matter how much the item is. Period. Kroger stopped a long time ago for me.

I say within a year Publix will have completely changed policy. It sucks because I have sooo much fun doing this ;-/

      • Mstanislaus

I had the same kind of experience, so I called the manager after leaving. Got no where, so I wrote to Corporate and they e-mailed me their coupon policy (this was in June) so unless they have changed since then… I would write Corporate get the coupon policy (which I carry with me and have had to use) so you are not surprised. Good luck.

    • Beckyhill216

Is anyone having trouble printing the Green Giant Steamers coupon? Mine will not print even though I have the coupon printer installed. Any suggestions?

      • Lockea83

turn your computer off then back on, if that doesn't work..reinstall the printer.

    • FSUgrad67

I cannot find the Progresso Soup shown in the list in this week's ad. Can anyone help?

      • Fgavent

It is only select varieties. I know I bought Chicken Noodle and Pot Roast. There were probably four other varieties on sale. They are part of the MEGA sale. My catalina did not print but customer service gave me the $3 for buying 8 cans.

    • Lynesa Bell

Help! My printer is running out of ink! lol

      • Tigress1321

mine already did. wish they had coupons for ink.

    • Katkoupon

FREE RELISH & GOLDFISH! My Kroger had Mt Olive Sweet Relish in squeeze bottle for $1. There was a 50c MQ in the Sunday paper (I think 8/01). I was so happy to get 4 free bottles. Also, Pepperidge Farm Goldfish are 10/$10 and this included the Goldfish Grahams (at my store). Not sure when or where I got them, but I printed 75c/1 IP's for the grahams a while back, hoping for a good sale, and there were also E-coupons (50c/1 Goldfish crackers & 75c/1 Goldfish Grahams). So if you still have these, they are included in the 10/$10 and will be 50c for the crackers and grahams are free!

      • Lauren

Thanks so much for the heads up on the Goldfish Grahams. I had printed the .75 q's, but totally forgot about them. Hopefully the grahams will be on sale in my store as well.

    • cherylrdh

Hello… I am new to southernsavers.com and I love it! The site is so much more organized than the other coupon sites I have been using. However, I am confused as to why the posting goes from Sat to Sun??? Don’t Kroger/grocery store ads run from Tuesday to Wednesday? So does she combine the 2 weeks? That doesn’t seem like a good idea. Can someone please help me understand? Thanks in advance :)

      • Jennifer

Kroger sales start on Sunday and end on Saturday. The new sale starts Sunday of each week.

      • Damahurin

It depends on where you live. Out Kroger in MO the sales go wed-tues so I get a head start on the weeks list which is why this site is so amazing. The only problem is that some of the items aren't on sale up here, like last week's Ragu for $1, it wasn't on sale at my kroger, but this is the best place to get ready before wednesday's rush!

    • Mulletavenger20

So is it just the first 8 products you buy you get $4 off or every 8 items you get $4 off?

      • AshleyQ

        Every 8

        • Country-mom3

They told us it was for only 2 deals per transaction

      • Coupon cheerleader

        Every 8 items

    • Christy

How do I know when to do my Kroger shopping? It seems like some prices change mid-week. Same with Publix. Help!

    • Juliansurveys

My Kroger as (Suwanee, GA) also has Betty Crocker brownie and muffin mix listed for the Mega Event.

    • ashley

      i didn't see this posted…daniamals are $1.88 and there are $1.00 coupons…my kids love them…

      • Amy

Where did you find the $1 coupons?

    • Abreci

Jenny, the “Shortcuts” e-coupon link on here is not sending us to the right website. Its sending us to http://www.shortcut.com. Check the link.

    • Erin B

Where do I go from the link to get to the Honey Nut Cheerios coupon?

    • Leigh

I'm new to the couponing phase. Last week was the first time I used coupons. My first trip to Kroger I got 32 items. It was supposed to be right at $52. I spent $25.17. The second trip, I got 71 items. I was supposed to spend right at $102. I spent $50.71. I think I did pretty ok for my first 2x. One them 2 trips, I didnt' realize that I could use an e-coupon and a paper or printable together for the same item. I would of saved more if I had done it that way. So, since then I have tried studying this site to learn as much as I can. One thing I'm a lil confused on is Catalinas. I understand if you buy certain items and certain amounts of that item, you get them. But, when they print is it going to say like so much money off the next purchase or will it be off of certain items, you wil have to buy to use it? Any advice would help. Thanks!

      • Flossie Dalia

You get catalina's for buying “so many, certain items”. If you buy 5 Nature Valley Granola Bars then you get $3.50 back as a catalina (a piece of paper that spits out of their machine). You can then use this “catalina coupon” on your next purchase of anything at that store.

        • Leigh

          Thanks!

My Kroger store has been ringing up my B1G1 Sobe coupon (from the game) value at 1.99 for each one I use!! I have been twice and had a different cashier both times and they both did it. Makes a great deal even better!!

      • TK

This happened to me, too! No complaints here!

        • Cwalkermarie

here in Brandon,ms they ring up $1.79! still good deal!

      • Sarah

Mine “price checked” for the cashier at $1.49, and when I told her that was not the price w/ a Kroger card, she said that she is supposed to use whatever number the computer tells her. I try not to take advantage of mistakes in my favor since I point out and correct most that are against me, but if they insist on paying me to take Sobes, I won't complain!

      • Shanny1979

I have made 3 trips to Kroger this week with lots of Sobe B1G1 coupons in tow. Today was the first time a cashier has actually changed the amount taken off when scanning the coupons. The coupons are scanning -1.59 but my cashier changed it to -.99 per coupon because she said they are on sale. Don’t the stores still get reimbursed for $1.59 per coupon though?

    • GAJulie

Is there a separate list for the 10 for $10 event or are they all just mixed in with the regular sale items?

    • kkat0323

I used my cellfire coupons on last Friday and they are still saying they are saved to my card. Aren't they supposed to come off? Can I use them again?

      • Dtreece07

        I have the same problem!

      • sarahcas

The same thing has been happening to me too. I haven't tried using the coupons again, though.

    • WynetteC

I just went to load Cellfire /Shortcuts e coupon for Yoplait Delights, Nature Valley Granola Bars, and the Hamburger Helper and they were all missing. Is there only a small window of opportunity to add these type coupons to your card?

    • ColaMom

Just got back from Kroger and realized that my cellfire coupons didn't come off. I scanned my Kroger card at the end, but my shortcuts still came off. After reading this, I'll scan my Kroger card first, so that both come off. Luckily I only missed out on $1.60. Still pretty amazed that at my Kroger I can use a manu. coupon, cellfire and shortcut all on one product!

    • TK

I had a really, really good day at Kroger. I did the Mega Event twice over and paid only $17 and change for my order.

I called up Kroger today since a free box of cereal didn't come off my bill. The representative said that they know they are having issues with ecoupons. If there is one that doesn't come off your bill, give them a call and they'll give you a credit.

    • Lrae17

Where do you get the Big Save Dreams Booklet?

    • Rachel

was able to use the $2 IP Stouffers q and the $3/15 frozen products q from the Kroger home mailer to make the party size lasg (8.88 through today) a great deal!!

Also noticed the small speed stick deo is still on sale- $1 I believe, tag reads until 9/4. I think there's still a 75c IP Q on the Colgate web site for the lady speed stick if you haven't printed it already. not as good as free, but if you're out…

The Bumble Bee Tuna packets and small box lunch kits are part of the mega sale for .49. I bought two packs of the “light” and two packs of the “albacore” and at check out two qs printed-75c/3 on the “light” and $1/3 on the “albacore” if you use these qs with this sale you can get tuna as low as 16c a pack!

got a $1/2 Birds Eye Steamfresh q in the mail from Kroger-makes them only 50c each this week.

there's a 35c dial handsoap q in this past sunday's paper-RP 8/15 that makes them only 30c! noticed another display near the pharmacy if the selection in the soap aisle is not that great.

Kroger brand natural peanut butter is back down to $2, (good price for the healthy stuff!)

Van Camp baked beans-28 oz are still $1.50, got 10 more cans for only 50c each! (use 50c q from newspaper)

our kroger (knoxville/sevierville tn area) is still running the transfer Rx, get $25 in free groceries- that's a lot of money in the coupon world!

    • Lisanole78

My Kroger is no longer accepting the Sobe coupons, or any “free item” internet printed coupons. She said it came down from corporate and was very nice about it, but still. I was using them to complete a set of 8 items and my kids were losing it already, so I didn't have the time to argue or replace them with different items. Grr.

The Nature Valley thins ARE a part of the mega event, as are the Betty Crocker fruit snacks even though those are not marked as such on the shelf.

Only a few of the GM cereals (original, maybe Cocoa Puffs) are priced at $1.48 – others like CTC, Multigrain cheerios, Lucky Charms are $2.99. I ended up buying 2 original cheerios and got a coupon printed at checkout for $1.50/3 GM cereals.

      • Valerie_close

This is a misinterpretation by your store. Corporate's policy is to not take “free” coupons. BOGO is not a “free” coupon according to Kroger corporate.

        • Lisanole78

I figured this was the cashier just trying to avoid the hassle of thinking…if I had been by myself I might have argued but my kids were completely losing it so I just escaped. Next time! <shaking fists>

          • Hender328

I got this the other day, because the cashier was trying to figure out if she should put in the amount of .99, the actual price of the Sobe or .49 the price after the Mega Savings. She put in the .99, so I guess that was actually like getting both for free.

    • Cwalkermarie

If anyone else does a Catalina deal and the paper is jammed, I called them (1-888-826-8766) and they ask for all you receipt info. Then they will send it to you by mail. :)

      • Jennifer

Went to Kroger today and bought 5 mega deals. After I payed, the cashier told me his catalina machine was broken. Will this work if I call the cat #? This was my 1st Kroger trip so I amnew to this. Thanks for any help!

    • shelly

I can’t seem to get the betty crocker hamburger, turna, chicken helper coupon to display on my shortcuts. When I click the “shortcuts ecoupon” it takes me to shortcut.com not shortcuts.com. Then when I look on shortcuts.com i don’t see this coupon anywhere. please help!

    • lizarde55

The Betty Crocker Q's are not in my Atlanta journal 8/08 ss

      q's

    • Guest

Went to Kroger last night. Got 28 items (24 mega event items plus 4 staples we needed). Total retail was about $51, I paid $14.75. It was kind of a pain to split my order into 3 transactions (did the Nature Valley and Fiber one Catalina's), but it was worth it.

I also found that I need to pre-plan for items that are sold out or priced different. I wanted to get 2 boxes of CTC, but only Cheerios were priced at $1.48 all the others were higher. I also forgot that I didn't print out the yoplait coupons (print limit exceeded). So I just substituted in 4 powerades since they were the cheapest non-coupon item that I remembered.

    • frugalmom

I just returned from the Kroger on Jonesboro Rd. in McDonough, GA where I purchased the 8 Progresso Soups, but my catalina didn't print. I called the catalina # and they told me that this promotion WAS NOT VALID at this store, but is only at select Krogers! So if yours doesn't print, that may be why.

      • di

did they say what stores did the catalina on the soup?

        • Jennifer

I didnt get mine either. She said she could only tell me if the state was participating and her computer did not show which ones did, just if I asked about a particular state. SC and GA are not participating stores. She did say that it was up to the manufactuer which stores are offering it. Apparantly its only 2 Krogers that are giving them.

    • Lbpremier

I have just started using this site and so far, I love it. My kroger has not been taking off the ecoupons. Is there a trick to that?

      • Jennifer

I heard there were problems with the ecoupons coming off too. Today was my 1st Kroger trip (I am new too) and what I did was scan my Kroger card at the end, after he scanned all my groceries. I was also able to use a paper coupon for each item I bought also.
        Total before savings=137.98
Total after ecoupons and papaer coupons=49.17
I thought this was really good considering it was my first Kroger trip! Try scanning your Kroger card at the end. Hope this helps!!

        • Jenichthus

i’m totally jealous that you can scan your card at the end and have the ecoupons work. i tried a couple of weeks ago to start using ecoupons and could not for the life of me figure out how to get them to work right. i FINALLY realized that i had to give them my kroger card first. it’s the only way that the kroger.com eqs will come off for me. the cellfire, pg, and shortcuts work even if i scan at the end, but if you’re having any difficulties, lbpremier, i would make sure to give them the card first. also, when i had some issues with some of my eqs not working, kroger’s customer service hooked me up with an eq for the amount of the coupons that should have worked, and it came off my next order.

      • Basicallychels

I know my Kroger will not let you use a paper coupon and an ecoupon for the same product, so that may be why it is not taking it off.

    • a new saver

I tried to get the Progresso Catalina deal at my Kroger this week and last week with no luck. When I called the catalina company, they said this was available at only 2 Krogers and mine was not one of them. How can I know reliably which catalina deals are good at my store before I buy?

      • I just tried that deal today… and the catalina didn't print. I emailed the company, so we'll see what they say!

        • Hender328

I had a problem with getting the Kraft coupon from the Catilina from my Kroger. Machine was out of paper. Catalina responded right away and mailed me a $5 dollars off coupon within days it was in my hands.

    • DoubleDDiva

My Kroger has the Schick Hyrdro 3 Razors on sale for $5.12. The coupon in this weeks paper was $5 off ANY Schick Hydro razor.

      • Sarah Vincent

also there is a $4 e-coupon on kroger.com for that so its a money maker

        • Rachee17

in addition, there is a peelie on some of then for free schick shave gel with purchase of the schick 3 !!!! sweetens the deal even more!!

      • Jenn

I didn't get that q in my Sunday paper. Is it printable? Thanks!

      • Ours was on sale for 5.99, but still a GREAT deal!! And there was an ecoupon last week for $4.00 off if you purchased the razor and refill, then the $5 off the razor and $2 off the refills. I ended up getting it all for free!!!

    • Kim

I didnt see this on here..I was in Kroger today (ga) and they have the shamrock farms rockin refuel on sale for $1..there is a coupon in Last sundays paper I think..makes them free!!

      • Amanda_K

Found the coupon, and I'm in Macon…thanks for the tip!

        • Leigh

I found the coupon for 50c but it says do not double????

          • Sshoulders

If the first number on the bar code is a 5, they normally double it. If the first number is a 9, they usually don't.

          • sarahcas

Kroger usually automatically doubles coupons that are 50 cents or less even if it says not to. It's programmed into the computer to do so.

    • Katkoupon

Is there any sort of cycle with Kroger promotions? I was wondering if any of you who have been at this a little longer have noticed any patterns in sales. I've only been doing this a little over a month and have noticed a few things (I think)…for example…It seems like P&G put out coupons around the first of each month, and these are good thru the end of the month. I've seen the P&G promotion (which before never seemed that great, but combined with the coupons from the Sunday paper was awesome!), Daytona promotion, and not sure what the others were named. Anyway, thanks for any input and thanks to Jenny for all the great work!

      • luci10

The Sunday paper PG coupons are usually good through the end of the month. Register at the PG website or look for PG rebate deals and you can get more PG coupons that expire much later. Rouge is a PG magazine with coupons. I did an offer to get a $100 book of PG coupons that has sets of coupons within the booklet which expire about 3 months apart.

    • Rachee17

Really good day at kroger!!! Paid $0 for $82 of groceries!!! My best one yet!

      • Leigh

I'm new to this. I've only went shopping 2x with coupons. But, I so wanna be like this. LOL

      • Brooke82

You need to tell us how! I am very curious to know :) That is awesome!!!!

    • Bkdupree

Will someone please chow me how to use the Shortcuts coupons website? It just keeps re-routing me and I feel like I am going in circles…and advice would be helpfule. thanks.

      • Jenichthus

if you are clicking on a link from southernsavers, i had that problem, too. i think the link got typed in incorrectly as shortcut.com instead of shortcuts.com. just type shortcuts.com into the address bar, and you can set up an account.

    • My Krogers is amazing. I found a deal with Right Guard Deodorant. There is a coupon by the item for $1 off each, the sale price is $2.49, then I used a BOGO free coupon from a few weeks ago. The cashiers have been letting me use the BOGO (@$3.99) and the $1 off each. I made .99 profit. I did not think that Krogers rolled over overages, but this one did. Don't get mad at me for purchasing over 30 deodorants (not at one time, just 10 a day so far), my church makes up Christmas boxes to ship overseas to our soldiers, and all but about 6 will be going to that cause, the rest will be going to the two the mentally challenged men who live in my home. I hope others can get this deal too.

      • guest

I think what you are doing is awesome!!! I got two last week. Did you know there is a $2/2 ecoupon and paper coupon as well?

      • Swan0677

Jennifer – I do the same thing! I have so many boxes of razors, deod, shamp, cond., etc… that we send to the soldiers. In fact, my daughter (8yrs old) went to buy 4 beanie babies from a garage sale for the soldiers to hand out oversees and the lady was so moved that my daughter was involved and spending her own money for the soldiers that she gave her 12 MORE for free!! That was a great experience! Kudos for what you are doing :)

      • Donna

Thank you for supporting our troops. My son is a Marine, and I know it means a lot to him and all of the other military members to see your generous show of support.

    • Sarah

Does anybody know if you can stack the Kroger rewards coupons with a manufacturers coupon? For example I want to use the $1/2 V8 Fusion Kroger coupon with a $1/2 manny on 2 bottles of juice. I'm not sure exactly what the kroger coupons are called…they come every few months in the mail and I think are related to my rewards card. The first number on the bar code is a 5, so I do know they wont double. Thanks in advance

      • sarahcas

I get those too; most of the time those are manufactures coupons. If they start with a 5 or 9 they probably won't let you use both because that would be a manufactures coupon. They probably also say they are a manufactures coupon up at the top by the expiration date.

    • luci10

Does anyone see the Jackson, Miss. area circular before it's mailed out on Tuesday? Locally, Kroger circulars run from Wednesday-Tuesday.

      • Amy

I go to the Kroger website and search stores, type in Nashville, TN. Their circular runs Sunday to Saturday. Meaning it comes out the Sunday before our cycle starts on Wednesday so you have 3 days ahead to prepare before your sale in Miss. starts. I have only compared this to the Brandon and Laurel stores, but I bet it will work for the entire Jackson area. Try it!! I have only seen a few small discrepencies like Gatorade there was .49 and it was .50 here and the milk prices are higher here. I highly suggest you track it for a week are two!! This has been a GREAT help to me. Happy Shopping :)

        • luci10

Thanks! Will search Nashville. Brandon is actually closer to us.

          • luci10

Just checked Memphis' circular. It's very similar to my local circ with the Wed-Tue sales.

    • Karencpht68

I am just getting started and I don't know much about couponing. I downloaded 132 coupons on too my kroger plus card. I have manufactures coupons for many of the items. Are all of the coupons on my Kroger card store coupons or are some manufactures coupons? I know I can use one of each per item, right?

      • tmmb04

You can stack coupons with the ecoupons on your card. Just make sure you scan your card first and hand the cashier your coupons last. Also, I had several of the same ecoupons on my card. For example, I had 3 ecoupons for BC warm delights. They each had different exp dates, so I was able to use 1 ecoupon per delight. I was able to get 3 of those and used all 3 ecoupons plus the paper coupons as well. This worked for me, so good luck and I hope it works for you as well.

        • Karencpht68

Thanks for getting back with me. I'm going tonight after church for the first time with all my printed coupons. Wish me luck

    • Jenn

I am completely new to Kroger and I have a question about the ecoupons. If I have 2 on cellfire (different exp. dates) and 1 on Kroger, and 1 on shortcuts for the same product and I buy 4 of those products will it take all 4 ecoupons off? I hope this makes sense! I can also use 4 man. coupons witht hese 4 too, right? Please help!

      • Brooke82

I was wondering the same thing!

      • sarahcas

It's probably pretty hit or miss with the ecoupons all working. I've bought multiple items before and only had one coupon come off but have also bought multiple items and had multiple coupons come off. You shouldn't have a problem using a paper coupon paired with an ecoupon, though.

        • Jenn

Thanks for replying! I went to Kroger Monday and bought multplie items. some came off and some did not. When I tried to load more, the ones that should have come off are still on my card. Wasn't sure if that is right or not. Thanks for your help sarahcas!

          • Swan0677

I had the happen to me yesterday. I bought 3 warm delights. I had two ecoupons from cellfire and one from shortcuts. Only ONE ecoupon came off. I emailed cellfire and shortcuts customer service and shortcuts credited my account $.50 and said next time I check out – I should automatically get a $.50 credit when I scan my card. I had a reply 15 MINUTES after I sent the original email! That is AMAZING customer service if you ask me! I'm still waiting to hear from cellfire.

    • Kay

My kroger bill of $140 went down to $53. My husband was with me and could not believe it—–he is sold now!

    • Brooke82

If Shortcuts and Kroger both have e-coupons can I use both if I am buying multiple items with those q's. For example if I buy 2 Betty Crocker Warm Delights can I use both the Kroger e-coupon and the shortcuts e-coupon???

      • Chewie1093

If you buy 2 Betty Crocker Warm Delights, one coupon from Kroger e-coupon will go to one item and one coupon from Shortcuts will go to the other item. This is how I understand it to work.
Both coupons will not take off for one item.

        • Brooke82

          Thanks so much!

      • Bakreations

Just learned that when you are looking at your ecoupons on kroger website the list includes all ecoupons loaded to your Kroger card. I printed out my list from cellfire, shortcuts and krogers….thinking I had 5ecpns from kroger and 2 from shortcuts i bought 7 bc warm delights. But I really only had 5 ecpns because krogers lists ALL ecpns loaded to your card….Also kroger rep said krogers is only accepting 1 coupon per item….so you can not use paper coupon and ecpn for same item.

        • Swan0677

REALLY!! That is good to know. My Kroger (Hilander, actually), allowed me to use ecoupons AND paper coupons together with no problem. I got over 80% off of a $100 trip yesterday because of the coupon stacking. That's going to be a bummer if they take away the stacking :(

      • Nicole

I also called the Kroger number on the back of my card to ask about the e-coupons. She informed me that if I have an e-coupon for a product through Kroger as well as cellfire or shortcuts that the Kroger e-coupon will not come off if the cellfire or shortcuts has regardless if you have the same number of produts as e-coupons.

    • Andrea_rdavis

I am a new shopper to Kroger, but am quickly falling in love with this store. I just left there and paid $2.87 for 3 Shick Hyrdo 3 and 1 nature's bounty vitamin. Then I received a catalina for $5 off my next shopping order!!!

    • sarahcas

Wow, I just had a GREAT Kroger trip! I bought 32 items in the mega sale. Two of my items (Two california pizza kitchen pizzas) didn't ring up at sale price or ring up as counting for the mega event so I took the receipt to customer service. The guy was super nice and apologetic and gave me the money I was supposed to get back on one pizza ($2.60) and the $4 from the mega event plus he gave me a full refund on the second pizza as well as getting tax back. I also was able to use 5 B1G1 free SoBe lifewater coupons and my cashier took off the full 99 cents making them all free plus $2 overage from the ecoupon. If anybody in the Knoxville area is looking for a good Kroger, I highly recommend the Kroger on Clinton Hwy next to Target.

      • Ariel

The Kroger on Northshore near Pellisippi is also great. I never have any issues using any coupons and the staff are always so nice and helpful! Glad you had such a great trip!

        • sarahcas

Thanks! That's good to know and I'll keep that in mind :)

      • cfour

I have also had great success with the Clinton Hwy. Kroger!!!

      • Hender328

It hasn't happened on this current deal, but has happened before. I generally put all of my items together and at the end of the receipt. Sometimes I also go through the line with just the Mega-Deal Items to make sure that they ring up right. When you have 24 or 32 items and then one doesn't ring up right then you have to find that one item and then make a correction. What a pain in the butt.

    • runj

It seems that everyone is having great Kroger experiences, but mine will only except 1 coupon per item:( That means only 1 paper OR 1 online coupon. First I thought it was just the e-coupons messing up, until tonight I was informed otherwise.

    • Jennifer

I am new to couponing, and think that I have messed up.

I found q's for $2.00 off water when you purchase 2 Crystal Light on the go, and I also found $0.50/2 Crystal Light on the go, so, I ordered a bunch of them off ebay. I was going to use the water q's for the Nestle water that is on sale….

Then, I got to thinking, can I use both those q's together? Technically, I will have 3 products per 2 q's, but…since I will be getting $0.50/2 Crystal Light, and also getting $2 off the water, for purchasing the two Crystal Light, is that right????

Gosh…I hope so, cause, I bought a whole bunch before even thinking it through…if anyone could advise me before I go shopping, I would appreciate it!

      • Brooke82

Yes you can use them all. The $2 q is for the water so the Crystal Light q can be used.

        • Jennifer

          thanks!!!!!

    • Enoughsaid

The 8/8/10 RP has a $2 coupon for the Cesar dog treats. Mine likes the chicken and 49¢ is a good price for me.

Does anyone know, will Kroger take competitor Q's? Food Lion has $1 off Sara Lee bread, on sale this week for $1. Would make it FREE!

      • Jenichthus

i actually called my kroger this morning to ask that very question b/c i had some publix qs that would have made for outstanding deals, but they said that they don't. you should call and ask, just to see, since different stores operate differently.

      • Jennifer

As far as I know, Kroger doesn't accept competitor's coupons.

    • Michele

Okay I just went to Kroger to get in on the Mega event and get my progresso soup deal with the Catalina and when I checked out I didn't get it. I planned on doing several separate soup transactions but when I did the first one and the Catalina didn't print I asked the cashier. She told me since they were having this Mega event they took the Catalina off this week. Is this true? Did anyone get Catalinas on the Progresso?? My kids love this soup so I still bought 24 cans @ $.67 which is still a good deal but it would have been much better at $.31. I finally ran out from the Publix Italian Days Progresso deal from last winter when I got it for $.25 a can which was AWSESOME and wanted to stock up for the fall/winter. If I was supposed to get the Catalinas what do I need to do now? I got the Nature Valley catalina, they didn't seem to take that one off…

      • Jenn

I went to Kroger and bought the 8 Progresso soups and mine didn't print either. Called the Catalina # and apparantly there are only 2 Krogers that are participating in the Progresso catalina. Kinda silly, I think, but others on here have said the same thing so I figured she must be telling the truth. Got the NV cat though. Sorry. I was disappointed too!

        • Michele

Do you know what 2 are participating?? Do you by chance have the Catalina # for future reference? Thanks for the reply!

          • vicky78

I know I got the progresso catalina last week here in Memphis. I haven't been back to try this week.

            • Cwalkermarie

here in MS i did 16 cans hoping i would get the deal twice. i did get it iince but not twice so i know it does work here.

          • Jenichthus

last time i tried to get a catalina deal, it didn't work out, so i only got 2 cans of soup, but i got a cat printout that advertised the fact that i could get a cat if i bought enough cans of soup, so i'm probably gonna go back tomorrow and get 8 for max value. this is in gallatin, tn.

          • Jenn

The Catalina number is 1-888-826-8766. She said she couldn't tell which 2 stores it was, but she could tell me by state. I'm in SC and they aren't doing it. I had her check GA too (I'm only 10 minutes from GA) and they are not participating either. Hope this helps!

      • Valerie_close

I got the Catalina for the soup. I live in Salem, Va.

    • Jenn

Stopped by Kroger today for one more mega deal and they have the Schick Hydo 3 razor on sale for 5.12. My area did not get the $5 coupon in last Sundays paper, but there is a $4 ecoupon on Kroger.com that still made it a great deal. Total was 1.48 with tax. I think I may load another coupon and get 1 more tomorrow. Would be great to go in a Christmas basket!

      • Tnsink

I loaded the $4 ecoupon onto my Kroger card. I forgot to take my list of Kroger ecoupons in when I went earlier in the week; the $4 did not come off, so I left w/out the Schick Hydro 3 (knowing I would come back later). I went in the next day with my printout. The printout was confusing…top line says $4 off Schick razer AND blades; but the print under says $4 off Schick razor OR blades. I checked w/ CS before shopping. She said she wasn't sure..but for me to do my shopping and she would do what I wanted. I only wanted the Schick razor, as I had gotten refill blades from a sale at Publix. My ecoupon for the $4 off Schick still did not work. I went to customer service; she gave me $4 but then told me the coupon must have meant for me to buy the razor AND the blades to get the $4 off.

I'm just watching the ecoupons. But the razor is also going into a Christmas stocking at our house, too :)

    • Jenichthus

i didn't use a coupon for it, but i thought it was great that the baby cheddar goldfish were on sale cheaper than the cheapest kroger brand version of cheez-it crackers, which i almost bought before i realized that the sale on the others made them cheaper. and of course, my son was much happier, too. :)

    • Swan0677

So, I got $95 worth of groceries for $17.00. AMAZING!!!! I do have a question though. I thought all coupons doubled up to $.55 (or whatever amount your local kroger allows), INCLUDING those coupons that say “Do not double”. However, I had several coupons NOT double this time. When I called the manager, he said he wasn't supposed to double coupons that specify “Do not double”. Is this new, or am I just out of the loop?

      • Hender328

I got $106.41 for $19.85, plus I left with $3.50 off my next order. I did mess up with that. I purchased 7 boxes of granola bars( 4 Nature Valley and 3 Fiber One) I thought I would get a $2.50 coupon for 4 Nature Valley and a $1.50 for the 3 Fiber One, so $4.00 in Next time coupons. It rang them up together, so I got the one for $3.50, so I cost myself .50. Be aware that they will be counted as one product.

      • It is .50 that they double and they are not required to double the ones that say do not double. The store doesn't get reimbursed if it says do not double.

    • KyMaria

Can someone tell me how to get ecoupons from Shortcuts?? I would love to get an ecoupon to go with my paper coupon while Kroger has Hamburger Helper on sale.

    • Hey guys, this doesn't have to do with couponing so much but it might save you some money… The Kroger that I go to is at Crossroads in Acworth/Dallas GA. I've had to throw away everything in my pantry (and I'm sure you guys can sympahtize with that) TWICE!! They have bugs in their pasta/flours/rice. It's one of those products anyway. I know it happens and I'm not upset about that. I'm upset about having to throw away my stuff because somewhere along the lines I brought home something that contained them and it infected the rest of my pantry. So BE CAREFUL!! I called them and they are going to have an exterminator come so I'm switching to another store for probably a month since the eggs have a 21 day cycle.

      • Carol

If you put your dry goods in a Tupperware container, any bugs will come to the top for air and then “expire”. Then you can just throw out the infested product and save the rest of your pantry items. I've experienced an Indian meal moth infestation, and now I'm vigilant to prevent any more of that! I can only speak for actual Tupperware brand. (Yes, I am a Tupperware lady. I sell what I've used myself and believe in.)

      • MichelleB

I am not a Tupperware lady :-) but I am a HUGE Tupperware fan. I put all of my dry goods (including cereal) in their containers and have for years!

    • Candielynn

could you please tell me if i buy 4 betty crocker fruit snacks on the same receipt will my short cut and cell fire coupon come off of the items

      • Me2Save

        Mine did today.

    • Jeannie

Annie's blue box mac and cheese is $1 and there was a tear pad with .75 off two any Annie products. Chedder Bunnies 2 for $4 also.
Shedd Spread 15 oz is $1 and there is a printable .40 coupon that is doubled at check out.
Our Kroger will not accept more than 2 printed internet coupons per item, per order.

    • Leigh

I went to Kroger for the second time this week today. I love love love Nature Valley Sweet & Salty Granola bars. I figured I would stock up. I bought some on Wednesday and got my Catalina. Well today, I bought more and no Catalina. I also bought Progresso Soups and no Catalina. And 3rd, I bought Betty Crocker fruit snacks, no Catalina. So, I called the Catalina number. She said what I read here just now, that the Progresso is select stores. The Nature Valley one has ended. But, the Betty Crocker one is still good. I have talked to my Kroger store and they are going to fix it for me when I go back this afternoon. The Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks one ends on 9/5.

      • Beatrice

Really? I was there an hour ago and got a cat for the Nature Valley granola. I live in Atlanta

      • Rrtallie

According to Jenny in the section, “Catalina deals” the Nature Valley deal is also good until 9/5. So you should get your money back for that deal too! :)

        • Kay

          What are Catalina deals?

      • Leigh

Well I guess the Catalina lady didn't know what she was talking about.

      • Jennifer

I love love love the Sweet and Salty Nature Valley too!

    • kathy

I just got back from the Kroger in Irmo, SC and had the worst experience with couponing yet. Here is my scenario… The little caesar bistro dog food is included in the mega event..if you buy 8 you get $4 off your total. I had several coupons for B1G1 …so the way it should work is pay .99 for each 1 (bought 8) get $4 off and use 4 B1G1 to end up paying 0. I thought great!!! When the cashier took my coupons the system would not take the coupons so she called a substitute manage over and another customer service girl. They told me you can not get something for nothing and I replied then you don't know much about couponing. Needless to say I left there very upset and humiliated from them telling me I was trying to get things for free. I noticed when I got home that several of my other coupons had not been scanned. I will go back for my refund. I called the manager when I got home and told her I did not appreciate being treated like a criminal. I will call corporate and let them know and talk to the store manager when he returns. Sorry my story is so long but beware when you shop Kroger about they way they accept coupons

      • Joe Grocery

It depends on the Kroger, too. I have three Kroger locations about equal distance from my house. One will not take more than two internet coupons per item but the other two will. They said managers have discretion on that type of stuff but it makes them look like idiots. Good luck.

    • Huffmanemily

Just got home from Kroger and did my first couponing experience!! WOW!! Such a Rush:) Did very well for my 1st time after studying all week my grocery list and cut out coupons:) Price before coupons was $200.50 and after $70.51 w/ $-3.00 off next purcase so total savings of $130.00 that's 65% off! Yayyy me. Still think I can do better.

      • Jennifer

Good for you, Emily! The prep time will get shorter and shorter as you go along. Focus on one store and then venture out to another store; I recommend Publix if you have one in your area.

    • Decent savings tonight at Kroger. All my e-coupons came off without a problem. In Richmond, VA (Rittenhouse Drive off Hull Street) the Progresso catalina IS printing. Received cat for Fruit Snacks AND Granola Bars. NO catalina for the Dessert Toppers, though…dunno the dates, maybe I missed it but just have located one in the store for the first time ;) Didn't want my Minute Maid frozen treats to thaw, so I put them in the freezer to hold them…forgot to pull them out for checkout :(( No frozen lemonade for us. Thanks, Jenny! Shopping is so much more fun with Southern Savers!

Tonight was a good night Total $142.72 Total after coupons $64.29. Had to remind hubby to stop putting things in the cart if I didn't have a coupon for them. Kroger doesn't carry the Kraft Homestyle Mac N Cheese yet or the Gain Dish Soap. I have coupon for both free. Hurry up and get them already…

I know most people are done looking at this weeks ad, but I just had to say Thank You Southern Savers! I've been averaging 76-83%, but this week I broke 90% savings! Plus I turned the woman behind me from grumbling “#@$! coupon user” to “my husband would love you.” (and yes, I refered her to SS)

      I bought 58 items
total after 5 $4 off and the electronic coupons was $99. (the only total I saw since the register calculates the electronic savings too fast to see the grand total)
      MFG coupons 38.60
      Bonus coupons 18.40
      Plus savings $64.47
      total savings 121.47
I paid 13.76!!! and got a 2.50 oyno coupon from the Fiber one bars

      So again, Thank you!
